Mill Outdoor Heating

Great app! Fast bug fix!. Great app! Very easy to use. But after updating to iOS 9 it quits. Hopefully there is an update on its way …? And yes, an update came some days after reporting the bug. Thumbs up for Mill. (y) (y) :-)

Not updated since 2017!!!. I bought my first Mill product yesterday. I paid a LOT extra for app-capability. The alternative product had all the same features but no app. I wish I had checked the app and reviews first. What a waste of almost NOK 3000. This app has not been updated for more than 4 years, and it’s noticeable. At the same time, Mill has another app that is frequently updated for everything except outdoor heaters. Why on earth are there separate apps? With such a high price for the products, it’s hard to accept that they cannot afford to update a failing app. Our heater is affixed quite high up. Not all users can reach the buttons. That was one key reason why we wanted the app. The APP ONLY WORKS *AFTER* WAKING THE HEATER BY HAND OR REMOTE. Then pull-down-to-refresh never finds the heater, and even after connecting, it frequently disconnects. So much of the point in the app is wasted. We cannot sit outside, pull out a phone and turn the heater on. Even if we use the remote, which has limited functionality (and yet another remote we can loose), the app is unreliable and can disconnected. We need to take great care of the remote. We wasted our money - I feel tricked by smart glossy marketing by Mill. This is really shocking. Deeply disappointed by Mill who try to market themselves as modern and up to date. It’s just not acceptable in 2021 to market a product as app-enabled, charge 1000NOK more for the app-functionality alone and then not update the app to ensure it has full practical functionality. For years!! No updates! I won’t buy any more products from Mill, and recommend others to investigate their apps carefully before buying any heaters, until this changes. ** I’ll be happy to update my review if the situation changes **

Useless. This application is absolutely useless. It is a pain to find the heater, and when you do, it will not let you create a “new password”. You have to go through this step in order to use the app, and so far I have been unable to do so. Big letdown when you spend more to have bluetooth compatibility and having it not even work as advertised.
