FUJIFILM Camera Remote

The worst thing about Fuji. This is actually the only one thing that I hate. Love the Camera, love the lenses, but this app- I hate it. It is slow, its buggy, it loses connection , it makes the camera to lag. Liveview - garbage. Picture transfer - kinda ok. Remote control- yeaaah ,that works ! The only thing. Why Fuji?! The app doesn’t have to be fast, but it has to be stable. I don’t think that any of the photographers could complain about the speed if the app would be stable. If your app is that bad, then don’t make one. Better no app, than an app that doesn’t work.

Fujifilm X-pro3. Helt elendig app!!!

Unstable connection. Fujifilm makes great cameras, but this app is terrible. I can connect to the camera, but it keeps loosing connection.

Live View shooting not working. Is Fuji not even attempting to fix this? You are selling a camera with functionality that isn’t working. Gives me no reason to buy Fuji again.

Simple and useful. This app has been a true companion for several years. Love it! Hope it works just as flawless on iOS14 as I have come to expect!

Nothing ever works. Have I just spent 4000€ on switching to Fuji, just to find out wireless transfer was a scam!?(«joke» aside, it actually is a scam at this date) Fix it fast, or stop advertising for something you can’t offer! I’m not asking for much here Fuji, I just need to be able to transfer images to my phone.. at this point i’m considering switching back to my old sony just for this reason.

Up your game fujifilm!!!. Not working after camera firmware update or with IOS 14. Been like this for weeks now. Fix it asap please!

No connection. There is no connection between my iphone and the camera when trying to transfer pictures. Tried a thousand times. Very annoying.

Ok. Anmeldelsen tar hensyn til begrensinger i iOS. Bruker appen mest til trådløs overføring. Noe som tar lang tid. Men jeg overfører i full oppløsning og ikke 3mpx! Det irriterende er at overføringer funger nå og da. Det beste hadde vært om overføringen var helt sømløs, men nå må den startes og man må manuelt koble til wifi. Kjedelig. Ellers så fungerer alle funksjoner som annonsert. GPS overføring er en utrolig kjekk funksjon som fungerer helt greit hos meg.

Laughable. Fuji listen up : you make film and cameras. Great. You dont make iPhone apps.

Can’t import HEIC or RAW images. If you want to use this app to import photos, it is not worth it. You can only import jpegs, and they are even down sized. That is pretty bad. I didn’t buy an expensive 40MP camera to use 9MP JPEGs.

Great remote for camera, nothing else. Does not work to transfer images from camera to IPhone. Works as a wireless remote though.

Connection issues. My iPhone 12 and x-pro3 are really not good friends using this app. 1 out of 10 tries the connection process goes smooth. Otherwise I need to restart cam, force close app or other. Please introduce a better failsafing on this.

Ikke så klønete som ventet. Etter å ha lest et par omtaler for appen satt jeg igjen meg ganske lave forventninger til denne appen. Jeg installerte nylig appen og koblet til et kamera fra 2018, og det virker som bare det. Nå skal det være nevnt at jeg ga appen tilgang til alt appen ønsket tilgang til, og den får ikke helt til å overføre bilder i rå-format fra kamera til telefon. Men det har vært ganske uproblematisk å koble til kameraet fra appen, det har også fungert helt utmerket med live-view og muligheten til å ta bilder og gjøre innstillinger fra appen. Kanskje jeg har hatt flaks, kanskje har fuji løst alle problemene som er nevnt i omtalene, og kanskje appen fortjener litt mer skryt enn hva de fleste omtalene gir. Jeg synes det.

Ios15 support missing. Being a professional photojournalist using exclusively fujifilm equipment, it is annoying that the ios15 support is still missing!

Doesn't connect to iPhone. 99/100 times it doesn't connect to iPhone for transferring photos. Useless.

App is crapp. Doesn’t connect with my camera - and while the camera is great and reliable - the app, it’s help function and suggestions, the feedback of it - it is the most crappy app ever. Totally unexpected from a Fuji as one of the most successful camera builders for the time being.

Frustrerende. Bruker aldri å gi tilbakemeldinger, men denne appen fungerer jo ikke? Jeg er på ferie uten mac og jeg skulle gjerne ha ført over bilder på mobilen men man får ikke noe connection. Veldig irriterende og frustrerende..

Does not work. This app was bad on iOS 14, but the fact that on iOS 15 it is still not possible to connect to the camera is just infuriating.

WiFi transfer of photos to iPhone works fine. No issues at all, works perfectly. You just have to follow the instructions in the app. Deconnect you phone from your home WiFi and connect it to the camera’s own “WiFi network”. No actual uploading to the World Wide Web is taking place here, just local transfer.

Just frustrating. Connection problems then unable to transfer images. Totally pointless.

Worst app ever made!!. Worst app ever made! To transfer a few photos you have to invest a lot of time and frustration. It's unbelievable that a company as serious as Fujifilm doesn't fix this.

It’s pretty nice, but updates are always far behind. It largely works as advertised. But now with the new generation cameras X-T5 etc. the app does not support the new high efficiency format that the cameras can shoot in. That’s such a bummer.

Ruins the core fuji selling point. I have always disliked this app, but it worked OK with older cameras. E.g. XPRO2. With X100V it works sometimes, and with my new XE4 it simply has never connected. Fujifilm, please get your act together. Fix it.

Unstable crap. It used to not work at all and after a year it’s barely improved. It’s slow and unreliable, live view is extremely buggy and often lags or loose the feed completely. There is no excuse for this. FIX IT FUJIFILM!

Almost useless. Are you not ashamed to have an app that works as badly as this? FIX IT

App. Usually don’t write reviews, but this app is the worst! Can’t even update firmware so that I could try the newer app

Worst of the bunch. I have used phone and tablet apps from all brands. This is by far the worst. Tried with IPad Pro 2020 and Samsung Note 10 Plus and both failed. Miserable. Really bad. You could very well remove the app from the store because it is useless.

It really doesn’t work. It’s never more than a 5% chance that the connection between my camera and phone will work. This is the worst app I have ever used. And it still doesn’t work after the latest update. Have you ever tried it?

Ustabil og treg. APPen ber om godkjenning for tilkobling hver gang og det er ofte fordi APPen kobler til /fra nettet hver gang en funksjon benyttes. Virker lite gjennomtenkt. Har en X-T3 og er strålende fornøyd med det, synd at Appen ikke har samme kvalitet.

Shockingly bad. How can this not be a priority fujifilm? I never write reviews on apps but this is so incredibly annoying as I absolutely love my fuji camera! I’m trying my utmost not to rage but it’s very difficult to contain my frustration. I can’t imagine that this is that hard to fix, so Fuji, please! Pretty please!!! Take some action and fix this app!!!

Unreliable. Having so many issues. Have to constantly fiddle, reset settings on the app, and in the camera, manually close the app, and restart, manually connect to the camera wifi etc. If I’m lucky I consider myself lucky. Fujifilm, you must take action and improve the app!

Flere år uten en fungerende app?. Ustabil, treg og med få funksjoner. Dersom du ønsker å føre bilder raskt over til fks. Mobilen din, anbefaler jeg å velge et annet kamerasystem enn fujifilm.

Can not Connect to XT4 on iPhone 10. Problems with connecting my Camera to my iPhone. Please fix this so that it is possible to transfer pictures directly to the phone. Shold be prioritized to get foundational functionalilies to Work flawlessly. Hoping for an update asap X-Photographer

Fails to connect. My iphone can’t connect with my x100F at all, this is incredibly frustrating.

Horrible. FUJIFILM is a great producers of cameras and lenses. I really don’t understand how they can let such a awful and unusable app spoil their reputation and frustrate customers! We know from other camera producers that such an app can be done very well! So why, do this FUJIFILM?

Its a shame. Such a nice camera and such a bad app. It is really hard to get the app to connect with my phone or ipad.

doesn’t work. was so excited about live shooting from my phone, but the app just freezes, is slow and screen goes black after one picture and then the whole app crashes even with everything up to date on updates.

A laughable app parody. I’m surprised that the otherwise excellent Fujifilm company would release such a subpar app. Both the design and useability is horrific. Transfer from camera to the app is shoddy at best. Whoever is in charge of developing this app should be fired and Fujifilm needs to take a long, hard look at their software development departement. Surely they can afford to hire proper developers instead of publishing a laughable parody of an app.

Not working at all!. Bluetooth connection works, but nothing happens after the phone has connected on wifi.

Språkinstillingen virker fortsatt ikke. Kommer opp med kinesiske tegn når man laster ned på norsk mobil.

WHAT! WHY?!?!!. This is the second phone i donwload this app on and its turing into Chinees... I cant change the language

For those with chinese letters. If you have the issue where the app is in chinese rather than your local language, try going into settings> general> languages> and set it to English, open the app, then set it back to the language you want. This solved the issue in my case and also solves the issue with many other apps.

Too bad. This doesn’t work well at all. Won’t connect most of the time and when it does it’s slow and keeps crashing. Would be an awesome app if it actually worked!

Camera doesn’t pair with my IPad. The app has always had difficulties connecting to my pad or phone. But after the last update it doesn’t connect at all.

Useless. Phone and camera doesn’t hook up and nothing happens. I’ve tried all kinds of different settings. How come Fujifilm show up so blatant incompetence in making a simple app? Unbelieveable.

I don't understand Chinese. What the f...!! This app is only in Chinese

When choosing Norwegian, chinese is presented in the app. If I choose English as my language on the iphone, then the app is in english, but it is strange that the app is presented in chinese when my iphone is set to Norwegian. Other than that, its good. But this is definitely a drawback for us norwegians.

Not working. I’ve tried different iPhones and both the X-pro 2 and X-T2. Either the app disconnects or I’m not able to access the images. I succeeded once and I only got low resolution jpgs.

Great app, but language selection is buggy. The app works good for getting images from X-T1 camera to iPad. But language selection does not work as it should. I have Norwegian language on my iPad. The app automatically selects Chinese language instead of English. The only way I have found to change this is to change language on iPad to English. But when I do that App store can not install or update apps. So this is a bug Fuji should fix asap.

Fails to connect. App fails to connect to camera. No fail message appeares.

New update doesn’t work. New update doesn’t work. Used the app often with the xt-2. Now after the update it wouldn’t connect at all. Disappointing and unexceptionable

Tiresome process of connecting. The good things about the app is that you can control the camera with it and send photos to your smart phone. But there are a lot of improvements that could be done. The process of connecting your phone and the camera is very far from a good user experience. You need to disconnect the phone from your home wifi and connect to your camera’s internal wifi. You only have a limited time to connect the camera and the phone before the camera cancels the operation. If there was a way to use your home wifi to connect to your camera, then that would be a very good improvement. For situations where there is no wifi available the current setup with internal camera wifi could still be an option. Going back one step inside the app disconnects you from the camera and you need to go through all the steps to connect again. That’s very frustrating. The UI could really need an update as well.

Drags the whole brand feeling down sadly!. As a UX designer and Fujifilm lover it is sad to see a them deliver a piece of software with such a poor quality. I guess they didn't really use any designers for this project. I would love to know more about the process. Hope you guys will do a full redesign some time soon (tomorrow maybe :). I am close to doing the design my self and send it over to them, at no cost, just for the joy of having an app that stands at the same level as your brilliant cameras!

Can not get connection!. Tried all different ways to connect, I have checked out forums and tried there suggestions, but cannot get it to work. (Ones I was able to send over one picture, so it was some connection) It is many whom struggle to get it work I can see in the forums. They have to improve the connection, the potential is great. But I have given up now to connect to my iphone4s and iPad, pity.

Terrible workflow. The workflow is terrible and it works only sometimes. We expect much better from a company like Fuji!

Please make it rotate to lanscape mode. Would be great to se the viewfinder in landscape

En nødvendighet til min x-t1. En utrolig bra app som er helt nødvendig til mitt x-t1 når jeg tar landskapsfoto! Mange sliter med kinesiske tegn når de installerer appen på norsk mobil, men dette fikser en med å legge til engelsk som tillegg språk slik som forrige omtaler beskriver.

Bra, men har mangler. Superfornøyd med kameraet, men appen ligger litt etter f.eks. Canon sin. Det er tullete at man blir frakoblet kameraet dersom man har vært inne og browser bilder og vil tilbake til menyen!? Dette må fikses!

Fikk japansk versjon. Lastet ned appen, men fikk en japansk versjon. Helt gresk for meg...

Crap. Why change somerhing that worked..???? This app is rubbish. Do Fuji want us to change camera brand, it is not possible to connect or send any image to an iphone

All good except for use in BULB. Please fuji, make it work for longer then 30 seconds in bulb modus!! IT makes no sense.. In bulb you should be able to use a 10 minutts exposure.
