As the board game++. All aspects of the board game with some additional scenarios. Very entertaining and nice to don't worry about rules. Haven't tried multiplayer yet only computer play.

Best game!. Best game > as Long as the bugs stays away

Good game, a bit unstable.. The developers have manager to create a good version of the boardgame, but i have to restart at least noe time per game. I have bought all the updates and like the scenarioes very much, the online gameplay is Okay, but I feel i have to wait a lot. Waiting for more stability and more scenarios and updates.

Frequently crashing. Game is frequently crashing and i need to start over.

Bugproblem. Have not finished noe game yet, souldronning like my money back

Great game, but too many bugs!. We have experienced bugs since we bought the game year’s ago. Bugs are ruining the game! Such a shame, because the game itself is great. Wouldn’t wast my money buying it!

Superb. Brilliant game, exact copy of the board game. More map variants would be even nicer.

Severe bugs. Good graphics, but cards disappear after a few minutes play. Fix bugs, and it will be much better.

Requires Game Centre. At first I could not add people to my buddy list, but after setting animations to turbo it worked. In order to find my buddies, I had to first log on to Game Centre. Otherwise fine.

Catan!. Was sceptical at first (german in the pictures wondering if it would also be English) but, I love the game! Great to play with somebody else as well!

Fun, but with a few problems. The game is fun and great to play together just like the board game. The graphic is perfect for this kind of games and it works well on the ipad. There are however a couple of problems: -when i pay for a game i expect to get most of the features, but in this game 80% of the game is locked. You dont even get to play the campaign but have to buy two more expansions for the same price -the AI is fun enough to play against, but very bad. I havent managed to lose once. I would therefore recommend to play multiplayer -there seem to be a number of bugs and unintuitive user interface. Stats are not tracked correctly. This is by no means game breaking and doesnt affect the actual game play

Bra spill. Synd at appen må restartes hver gang man spiller. Irriterende.

Fun game, but large amount of bugs. I would like to have more intelligent computer AI, and the ranking does not work. Especially the building of roads sometimes are complete unlogical. Games don't get registered in the ranking. Settings is partly in German When you play the computer for more than 10 victory points it breaks half of the time. Dice just keep rolling uncontrollably and you wont be able to do anything about it (like building or trading)

Fun game, but full of bugs. Its a fun game for family and friends. But it freezes ofte, so you have to quit the game and reeconnect. Extremely irritating if you have been playing for a while

Flott spill!!. Her har man mange timer med god underholdning!

Good game, but with significant bugs. A well made game, but with a bug that really breakes the game for me, and that they don't bother to fix. The variable map option doesn't work as stated. The tiles are not distributed randomly, which makes it boring having to play the same map over and over for my favourite scenario.

Fraud. You have to pay to get the game, but you can only play online. Which has several bugs, like u can't register and therefor you can't play. If you want at least one board for campaign, well you have to pay. The same amount you already have paid. Don't go there

Cannot play the robber. Love the game, but everytime I place the robber anywhere but in the desert, or in a hexagon where noone has settled, I am not able to continue to play. The menu dissapears and I have to restart. This gives me sort of a big disadvantage both in custom play and online.

No sound. The sound doesn t work

Gøy men ...... Spillet er artig men ett litt ut i spillet forsvinner kortene. Vell du forsvinner ikke du kan bare ikke se dem😡 Noe som gjør det håpløst. Burde også være forskjellige brett for hver runde.

Bra!,. Spennende med alle utvidelsene! Eneste jeg savner er å kunne spille mot andre live.

Bugs bugs bugs. Have not played one game yet without bugs and having to restart the game. One developer was helpful and said they where gunna look at it, but I later got a respond saying there is nothing to do about the bugs(!!??) They appear on both ipad air and 4th gen. fix bugs and I would rate this app 5* Other then that the gamelooks just like the board game and is great fun!

Not updated for iPads, but it's a fun game. If I get your email, dear developers, I'll gladly send screenshots proving that this game's not updated for iPads. A lot of text is obscured by icons, so for example I cannot see how many Development cards there are left because there's icons in front.

Fin game but severe bugs. Several bugs stop game from connecting to multiplayer server.

Keeps shutting down!. Great game when it works. However when the game shuts down 10-20 times during one scenario you get a bit frustrated. Especially when you’ve paid for the expansions. I encourage the makers to fix this immediately.

Nice game - but UI is antique. I love playing this game, but the design feels like 1998. Rarely crashes. Playing online is too slow. Playing bots is ok, but would be interesting to be able to choose difficulty level.

It crashes a lot!. I play cities and knights and this app crashes constantly! It is also hard to see the trades between players and certain moves players make.

Would be good of not for all the bugs.... Game starts to glitch and needs to be restarted OFTEN

UI bugs makes the game unplayable. Elements in the game UI breakes and makes the game unplayable.

Mr. Annoying game center popup that can't seem to be disabled. Zooming bug in the tutorial. First time I started the game after buying it, clicking the big campaign button, I'm immediately greeted by an in-app purchase nag dialog. Sigh. Partly regretting this buy already.

Buggy and unmaintained. Too buggy and the company is not doing anything about it for 4+ years as of this writing.

Doesn’t work. Too expensive for what you get, a game that doesn’t allow you to play the game as you need to.

Keeps shutting down. As soon as the game board appears whilst playing knights and cities, it shuts down. And ive tried registering for online games several times but it keeps saying the username or email is already in use. Whereas i KNOW its not. Love the game but the bugs damages the full impression unfortunately.

Greit gjennomført. Hadde vært en femmer om det hadde vært en online del. AI'en føles til tider som den jukser og samarbeider. Utover det så er det et veldig artig brettspill.

Ganske fornøyd!. Elsker spillet! I forhold til brettversjonen, er 60 kr for spillet pluss extension pack billig, men når man betaler 30 kr for seefarers, burde man ikke være nødt til å vinne campain for å spille de nye brettene. Det burde også være mulig å stille på vanskelighetsgraden. Ellers veldig fornøyd!

Ok game, but to computer smart and missing online playing. I think i would love this game if i could play against real people. I find that the computer is too lucky and too smart. The trades gets to be annoying as the other players already know what stuff i have. I find the offers are not real enough. Now it feels like a game to beat the programmers...rather than a game. Please allow online playing... Then this will be real interesting game.

Great game, recommended! But flawed... Great iPad version of the board game. User friendly interface, ok graphics, many scenarios and boards, however many crashes and missing online play take the score down... but for sure, the good by far outweighs the bad, highly recommended!

Supert iPad-spill. Veldig bra. Supert på iPad. To ting trekker ned. Burde vært høyere vanskelighetsgrader. Burde vært forskjellige oppsett på sjøfarer-brettene - har man spilt brettet før, vet man hva som er inne i tåka, og da forsvinner en del av poenget.

Temmelig show. Artig, men hadde vært supert hvis det var mulig med multiplayer på flere iPads.

Bra. Et underholdende spill, som har blitt meget bra med sjøfarer utvidelsen. Verd pengene!

Gute Erweiterung, noch viele Bugs. Habe mit Freude die neue Siedler Erweiterung installiert und Gespielt. Leider lauft das Program recht instabil und stuerzt haeufiger ab. Auch kommt es hin und wieder vor, das die Wuerfel, Spieler Zuordnung sich verschiebt. Als Resultat wird man einfach uebergangen und kan man keine Aktionen mehr durchfuehren. Auch speichern und neu Starten hilft nicht. Auch werden einige Fortschrittskarten nur fuer die AI richtig ausgefuert. Man selber kann nur einem Gegner einen Zwangshandel anbieten. Alles in allem eine schoene Umsetzung, die aber noch viele Macken hat. Warte gespannt aufs Update.

Bra spill men for enkelt!. Det burde en hoyere vanslighetsgrad og flere versjoner (sjofarer, keops, byer & riddere) saa er dette spillet verdt 5 stjerner.

Sånn passe bra. For å få tilgang til HELE spillet må man betale 29 kr ekstra. De fleste kartoppsettene er låst :( Nesten 60 kr for dette spillet er MYE! Den skjulte ekstrakostnaden og svært dårlig multiplayer funksjonalitet trekker kraftig ned. Jeg tror allikevel at det er potensiale i spillet hvis de fikser noen bugs og lager en spillbar multiplayer versjon.

Catan. Thumbs up! I'm Hooked!

Lousy July update- get the old!. I was immensely satisfied with the pre-July version of Catan, I played it on iPad daily! The recent patch was apalling, a shock, a slap in the face. How can I roll back to the previous overall design (not only tile sets) and keep the various scenarios unlocked? Developers really need to warn players a lot better, very disappointed. Used to rate 5 stars, but strip Catan of rating due to being maltreated so badly! GRR! --- UPDATE: It's been a couple of days, and the shock has wore off a bit. I've changed my rating to a 3/5 to reflect this. NEW PLAYERS should not worry too much, to you it will be a 4-star game. --- Elaboration, for 2.0.x updaters: The tile design is changed together with entire interface. You need to enable 'In-app' purchasing in iPad Settings->General->Restrictions, and push the Catan welcome screen icon with the +-sign on it. There, you will see 5 options, three of which are tile designs (and it's redicilous that design preferences are AppStore, and not just App options). The ALIENATION stems from the fact that, pre-update, we naturally used classic tiles. Post-update, you don't. And it's a VERY different feel. To top it off, the scenarios I had unlocked through playing the entire campaign in 2.0.x were now LOCKED. How stupid is that for a PATCH?? In addition, the use of the colour brown in the new interface is totally gone awry- it's just too much, too dark and gloomy. The portraits of other players turning black(!) when it's not their turn, really adds only to the gloom. These new interface elements does not fit well with the classic tileset, btw. Minor details: I missed the notification of an adversary's Longest Road. Thinking about it, the fact that some notifications now are at top of screen simply makes players miss it, because focus is on map and lower part of screen. A couple of positives to finish: Yes, the touch experience is snappier. Yes, the panel shift from top to right-hand side is good. But please, remove the gloom, unlock previous achievements and let the graphics change with the tileset (that should be an option at game creation, like standard Solitaire back-of-cards choice).

Horrible dice, not random!. Dice rolls not random at all computer consistently outbuild you because of 'lucky dice' Each time I play, the numbers on the ai chosen plots are heavily favored by the 'random' dice. Last example: one 6 result during the 10 first rounds and 8 9s. I had a 6 plot, both computers had 9 plots. Thats 30 rolls, where 8 of them are what the computer has, and one of them is one of the likeliest combinations to get (6). Round before. Almost 35% of the results were 5s. Computer opponents all had 5 plots, I did not of course. I love the game but I'm getting tired of the computers always building 2-3 roads and a settlement in the same time I manage to build 1 road usually. REGARDLESS of what I get on my plots.

Klaus Teuber er et geni. Beste brett/strategi spill. Online hadde vært tregt og ikke minst problematisk med folk som hopper ut når de ikke lenger har vinnersjanser. Vi trenger Cities & Knights ekspansjon pluss flere scenarios.

Spot on game for strategy board game fanatics. Played this game for 6 months straight... Hope I find games as fun as this one... Worth every krone

Bra spill. Bra tolkning av brettspillet. Men jeg skulle gjerne sett flere scenarioer, og en mulighet til å spille online. Totalintrykket mitt er bra, men prisen er alt for høy.

Morsomt spill. Engasjerende, men burde hatt høyere vanskelighetsgrad etterhvert som man spiller, det trekker litt ned.

Anbefales!. For de som liker Catalan er dette en enkel og fin versjon av spillet. Kjapt å komme i gang, og samme spenning.
