Hva er GeoShred Studio-appen? Unleash your musical creativity with GeoShred Studio, the macOS version of GeoShred designed for desktop composition, scoring, and orchestration.

GeoShred is a new kind of musical instrument: fluidly expressive, remarkably playable, and powered by physics-based models of instruments and effects. Its innovative performance surface features “almost magic” pitch rounding, making it possible to play with both expressive freedom and precise intonation.

GeoShred Studio brings that expressive power to the desktop. Designed for macOS, it is ideal for scoring and composition workflows that use multiple AUv3 instances and physically modeled instruments. A key advantage of GeoShred Studio is that performances can be captured directly in your DAW as editable MIDI/MPE data, making it easy to edit, orchestrate, and re-render your music as part of a modern production workflow.

Expand your sonic palette with 33 additional physically modeled instruments from around the world, available as in-app purchases. These include bowed strings, woodwinds, brass, and traditional Indian and Chinese instruments.

GeoShred Studio is free to download, but it is not a trial version.
After installation, go to Menu > Store and purchase GeoShred Studio Essentials to unlock the core functionality of the app.

Please note that GeoShred Studio Essentials must be purchased before any additional instruments can be purchased beyond the built-in guitar model.

GeoShred Studio is best performed expressively from an iPhone or iPad using GeoShred’s multidimensional isomorphic keyboard. If you do not own GeoShred for iPhone or iPad, you can download the free GeoShred Control MPE controller to use with GeoShred Studio. GeoShred Studio can also be performed with an MPE controller, conventional MIDI controller, or breath controller.

Important: GeoShred Studio is a distinct product from the iOS/iPadOS version of GeoShred. It has its own instrument library and a separate pricing model. Instruments purchased for GeoShred on iPhone or iPad do not transfer to GeoShred Studio.
