Lost its charm. The original game, faulty and lacking as it is, was amazing. It had a very unique and fun theme, with a fun and quirky style - that made a simple, but robust and fun experience. This however… Although the first Pocket City has problems, mainly its lack of a late game, this is not really an improvement at all. What was once a cute indie (from what I know) game, is now just a weird corporate and boring sequel. The character, and style it used to have, are all gone - replaced with really off putting 3d characters, though giving a new space for the entire world - still removes the originals frame. It’s longer, sure, and it has a lot more to do. But I’m not interested in a game where I run around (IN A CITY BUILDER) collecting rewards that never to anything interesting. It’s not an improvement, nor the same game - just a really weird and bizarre cash grab remix. It’s okay.. But there is a lot left desired, and I would not be surprised that the game was sold of, because (unlike the first Pocket City) it’s unoriginal, and plainly bad.
Crashes. The game crashes every five to ten minutes on my iPad Air.
