EASY SETUP
Connect to OpenTrack (free, open-source) on your PC via WiFi or USB. Enter your PC's IP address, tap Calibrate, and start tracking in under a minute.
On Your PC:
1. Download and install OpenTrack: https://git.io/JUs2U
2. Set Input to "UDP over network"
3. Set Output to "freetrack 2.0 Enhanced"
4. Ensure port 4242 is open on your firewall
On Your Phone:
1. Launch Smart Head Track and enter your PC's IP address
2. Align your face and tap Calibrate
3. Press Start on both the app and OpenTrack
PRECISE CALIBRATION
Adjust each of the 6 axes (X, Y, Z, Yaw, Pitch, Roll) independently. Per-axis sensitivity, inversion, and offset controls let you dial in exactly the feel you want.
SIMULATION MODE
Preview your tracking in a virtual 3D cockpit before connecting to your PC — perfect for testing your calibration settings.

Impressed! Great for MSFS. Works amazing for microsodt flight simulator. I feel like I had to leave a review because it barely had any, although it’s been great for me for months. I honestly don’t understand why this app is not recommended more in the video game simulators community, where head tracking is huge. Pros: - Easy to set up - USB and WiFi connection - Free - Good and smooth results - some customization available regarding the axis’ - “Re-center” button Cons: - Battery drainage, may not be the devs fault - Won’t track while app is in the background. Again, this may be because of Apple/iOS hardware or software limitation
Just bad. Doesn’t connect to opentrack at all even following all instructions. The tracking works really badly when your head is at a slight angle: It stops tracking and takes on average 20 seconds to find your face again. It limits the time it tracks by giving you a timeout that you can get rid of usikg premium which is fair enough for a tracking app that works for free, but since it doesn’t work at all it is not even worth taking up space on ur phone.
