Meta Horizon

Ugh, Meta…. The app of course wants all permissions under the sun to be as invasive as possible, the store is a mess to navigate, it’s very hard to find anything relevant, games are often overpriced tech demos, or ridiculous subscription services… The Quest3 itself is not bad, but the UI spams you with junk, there’s Meta bloatware you can’t get rid of as it will just reinstall itself, etc. There are a few interesting apps/experiences available, but there are so many stupid design decisions that detract from it overall, and since this is Meta, it’s likely they will just make it worse, because that’s what they always do.

Meta SPY. Good meta style VR crash because of firewall and the app collects data it should not while you gaming via PC link - SHAME ON FACEBOOK and recommend NOT buy products from this EVIL company that only care about selling your data to scammers !!

It crashes on latest update. Hi. The last update won't let me open the app. It just crash every time. Other than that very great app.

Familiesenter/skjermtid. Altfor dårlig. Det går ikkje an å skru heilt av skjermtid men kun minimum eit kvarter. Ein må trykke 10 ganger og vente til nye sider laster for å endre skjermtid. Burde vore to klikk og for gjort. Lite gjennomtenkt. Direkte tilgang til familiesenter og barnet som trenger meir skjermtid - via varselsenteret - fungerer ikkje lenger. Å oppdatere appen gjer dere ofte, men kan begynne å lure på kva som blir oppdatert / kva som blir bedre… ansett en forelder til å hjelpe dere META …!

What has happend?. Randomly logged me out doesnt tell me if theres an update cant log back in even after reinstalling the app.

Horrific UI. Must be one of the most user unfriendly apps I ever used. Cannot recommend.

Not only vr but also phone... Recently got my quest 3, absolutely enjoying this, but now i found out you can use it on your phone on some games too?? It’s good and some games on it are actually worth trying

Oculus Go Setup Issue After Factory Reset. I’ve had an Oculus Go for a while, and it was working fine. I recently did a factory reset before giving it to a friend. However, when trying to set it up again, the installation process gets stuck at the health and safety video and won’t proceed any further. This seems to be a known issue, and it’s frustrating that there’s no clear fix or support from Meta/Oculus for such an essential part of the setup. It makes the device almost unusable after a reset, which is very disappointing for anyone trying to reuse or gift it.

This app is.. ok. I dont really like it but it is the only app i can use to get videos from my vr to phone. But it doesn’t work to download the videos i make (at least those from gorilla tag) but it is ok since i do edit on capcut so i can just share it to capcut. But half my videos get turned into links, so i cant use it.

Lol, let’s change the world😛. Good afternoon, thought I'd suggest a small idea to stimulate demand for VR products (in certain age groups). If you make VR 180 videos with celebrities, such as: one day with Marshall Mathers😁 or dinner with Taylor Swift, it can raise the popularity of VR and the more such interesting things will appear, the more reasons to buy Meta Quest 3 and other Meta helmets. Also some content can be made exclusive. Good luck😁
