Broken auth means you lose the money in your wallet. Previously noted this app was buggy because it forced me to use a new email to create an account on mobile. You can’t use an existing account because the password reset for creating the mobile wallet is a broken loop. So (following tech support’s suggestion) I created the new account and used it for about a month as a wallet. Last time it prompted me to update, I declined. It updated later. Now I’m stuck in the same broken auth loop with the “new“ account. I put $2000 in, and cant access it because these amateurs can’t retain user settings across upgrades and can’t write or QA a proper account auth/reset function. Now I’m shopping for a new hardware wallet because I can’t trust this company to do auth properly.

Best non Kyc app. This is the best non kyc app you can use in crypto. Plenty of DeFi and what makes it great is that it’s a DAO as well. - vwracer719

Should and could be GREAT, but too many issues to ignore.. Let me say potential is boundless here BUT it “seems” they just want to make a buck during the crypto pops. -App is designed well on the front end but lags almost everywhere else. -mentioned by many; freezes up and needs to be quit. -those fees though!!! Really? -customer service lags much like the app. -was signed out of my account and can’t get back in. Have my needed information but a Rep told me it’s gone forever, Eva Eva. Doubt that. Quite sure I will retrieve my minor chunk of coins there. -reps are hit or miss. They aren’t even on the same page. One tells me they are gonzo, not accepting that answer has I spoke to another that is trying (every 48hrs ) to get me my monies. No actual tries as of yet. This all began over a week ago. Money in the Bank & Rep (s) all stank ; not you all, you know this! This message willing have a reply in less than a day. Hope this helps any potential users.

Decent experience. So far I’ve been using ShapeShift for over a month. Initially, things were quite fast and the app sound, however, lately the app has had issues staying connecting to its network. I have had small issues with the app crashing but all money has been accounted for. it’s customer service, has been quick and expedient with regards to response times with tickets and giving a great response that always left me feeling confident to stick around. Not happy about the fees but comes with the territory with regards to its speed being better then others.

Where is my bitcoin?. I tried to hold off as long possible writing this review. Tried to give this app the benefit of the doubt but after 3 days with no reply from the support team they forced my hand. ShapeShift Provides currency exchange functions for Jaxx wallet. I tried to use the function to exchange my ethereum classic for bitcoin and after 2 failed transactions and one that disappeared my etc is gone and I have still to receive my bitcoin. Never received my etc back either and now I’m down 60 bucks. Reached out to the support team with all the transaction info and the wallet addresses and 3 days later I still haven’t heard back from them, no etc returned and no bitcoin deposited in my account.

Verification Failed. I have been having issues with this app for three days now. I have submitted numerous tickets with no confirmation email that my tickets have been received. No one has reached out and I am Stu k unable to move my crypto. I really wish that you would stop advertising that your customer support team is available 24/7 if you Aren’t going to actually assist your customers on the daily. I’m beyond frustrated and wish I could just pull all of my money out. This was a huge mistake. I would suggest using another app. I wish I had.

No Dash?. Why are some of the most popular alt coins unavailable? It's particularly frustrating when your CoinCap app directs you to the Instant Crypto Converter app to buy Dash (or any other Coin) just to find out you can't. That's as useful as a broken link. Further, to have the app called 'Instant Crypto Converter' in one place - the App Store, and everywhere else including the App call it just ShapeShift is confusing. Then to have the developers not realize what you are talking about when you say 'CoinCap directs you to ShapeShift' is annoying! Some consistency is good for everyone.

Onboard with the mission and no issues. I’ve started using shapeshift on the web after reading more about their mission and platform. I really love that it’s community owned and seems transparent. After downloading the iOS app, I was able to connect it to my wallet without entering any private info, the UI is decent, and I haven’t encountered any bugs. Worse !wallet i have ever used ,. Shapeshift wallet Not safe lost all my holding tokens , Was like one day they were there and the next day they were all gone. ☹️

Seemed to be great until I lost $4000. Dishonest and unreliable! I made three transactions of increasing amounts, and it all worked well (except that the first transaction does not show up in the history, but that's a detail). The rate the app provides is not the best, it is about 3% below the market rate, but the app is simple to use and does not require login. The annoying thing is that the rate they use is actually yet lower than the one displayed when confirming the transaction, which is in contrast to their claims in the FAQ. Finally, I made my last conversion: I sent $4000 worth of Bitcoin, the app showed it received it a few seconds after, but when I opened the app later, the transaction disappeared. It did not show up in the history and the fonds did not arrive to my wallet. The worst experience I've ever had trading cryptocurrencies. Luckily, I took print screen of the addressees so that I was able to reassure myself that I did not use a wrong address. Update: The funds arrived 2h later. The transaction still does not show up in the list of transactions. The conversion rate they used was 3% lower than at the time I made the transaction.

Shapeshift refuses to fulfill failed transactions. I recovered ledger logs from using my automatic trading set up, and discovered several failed transactions from shapeshifter end, where their own server literally says “shapeshift failed to send contact support,” after I already sent a payment of BTC to them, expecting ETH or another currency back. They told me no “refunds,” after 3 months, but obviously me giving money to them in exchange for another currency (literally what their program is supposed to be a service for in entirety,) and it failing on their end is not a refund. Paying for a service and not receiving it, then recovering the logs from the ledger, and being able to check the blockchain itself for transactions and it showing “failed transaction,” was not enough for them. Scam app, scam customer service, they will keep your money. Plus every time you attempt to log in the app it crashes or wants you to consistently Change passwords. Extremely unsatisfied with giving free money away and not receiving the service, hopefully I save someone from the same mistakes.

Great intuitive design but terrible UX. ShapeShift’s mobile app is beautiful and very easy to navigate but provides a terrible user experience, as far as syncing wallets, showing accurate balances etc this causes so many issues with sending transactions, completing trades and receiving funds. It’s ridiculous, I would love if I could take the interface and ease of buying crypto and merge it with another app that knows how to sync the blockchain and show balances accurately.

Don’t use emergency warning. Don’t no one use this app it takes your money and will not let you move your money around without paying them to do everything I warned you made your warning do not use this app the worst app ever in my life seen

Filled with bugs. Good app but it is filled with bugs as it crashes all the time . It just wont open sometimes for days and days at a time . Which is annoying because then I have to go and log in in browser. Also, I have had issues trading bitcoin for othee currencys . It wont let me swap Bitcoin i to anything else (besides eth and ltc) . Not convenient at all. Other than that it is a good app. They just need to fix their bugs asap because its driving me up a wall

I can’t change the language on the mobile app!. I accidentally picked a foreign language and I can’t sign in properly I can’t make out anything and there’s is no simple way for me to switch the app back to freakin English. Why couldn’t you put the language setting always on display so I can switch back?! It’s such a stupid issue and yet I have not been able to login or create a new account. I can’t even troubleshoot this on the site or help desk. What a stupid stupid situation to be in . I have deleted and downloaded the app multiple times hoping it would reset and it’s always downloads it back to Foreign language. So basically shapeshift is unusable on mobile.

Awesome crypto app, highly recommend!. This is a really great way to get into crypto, I got my family set up in seconds and you get bitcoin right when you open the app! Slick UI, easy trading, and a ton of coin support. Good for beginners and more advanced crypto uses alike. Moved from my other wallets over to shapeshift 🙌

Seems to be buggy for my iOS. First off, they lie that KYC is not required. Once you go a bit forward. They will make you do it in a sneaky way. I tried to log in to my newly made account via this app(made an account via their website). Installed the app on iPhone 6s, iOS 12.4 to verify my account as instructed but I’m not getting anywhere with this app. 1st it asked me to Change my new password! 2nd never sent me a confirmation email as it’s supposed to. So...! How can I trust such a system to put some assets in to trade when the easiest step isn’t working?

Fraud. I quit counting at 120 1 star ratings. This is quit the little con game going on here. There were several 2 star and only a few 5 star going back 2 years. Who is monitored these apps reviews?!

Shapeshifting. I like this app a lot when I shift to monero. People be patient and always screenshot your transaction just in case, (also for taxes). I’ve used this app and online website several times and have never had money not come back accordingly. It can take hours during heavy times but usually within minutes. Good luck to everyone!

Great App!!!. I tried this app , cautiously,...and was pleasantly surprised at how user friendly it is and how fair the prices are. I started out by purchasing thru a bitcoin ATM and those cost are astronomical but this I believe was fair and worth every penny. Nice, easy, streamline transaction that I can do securely over my iPhone with no issues. I was going to try a small amount first to prove its worth but decided instead to go "all in" and try the full amount of what I wished to exchange and everything worked flawlessly. Good app and reliable.

MetaMask. App can’t connect to MetaMask

Broken Support. I tried to get verified several times, by doing all the steps required correctly, although it ending up failing afterward. I contacted their support and they told me to try again and reply afterward to my support ticket. I couldn’t reply to the support ticket because their zendesk is not configured correctly. I submitted another ticket and the rep who dealt with that one marked it “solved”, even though it wasn’t in the least — what a complete waste of time. Obviously these people are amateurs and definitely shouldn’t be trusted with your money. The fake five star reviews in succession obviously didn’t improve their poor rating either, lol (see Jul 21). Since this company is seemingly dishonest and resorts to attempting to “fix” things in this way they’ll never see a dime of my money. The world doesn’t need garbage like this.

Alot of potential. Downloaded the app because i saw it works with ethos on its website. Read some reviews didnt really consider them until i started messing with the app. Was considering dropping 2k but not anymore the app freezes alot for no reason. The fact that I downloaded it but it keeps freezing is stupid developers have to look into this and actually do something. Once that is fixed i will forsure drop money in this app but that has to be fixed asap. My wifi and overall connection is strong. Has alot of potential due to the amount of coins it has on its platform hopefully developers take the app more seriously so i can drop money.

Worst app ever 👎👎. The app has a long delay between transactions. The funds would get in your account hours after the transaction. The support team is a joke/scam. I don't think they have one i emailed them 10 times and its been 2 weeks no response so if you think there is something wrong with the transaction and someone might help you think again. I made many transactions with them always the same problem and last transaction i made bitcoin to alt coin and my bitcoin wallet shows amount sent and nothing received in my other wallet. 4hrs later i get a refund for 1/3 of my amount. Its a scam.

Convenient and simple to use.. Convenient and a simple way to exchange crypto for other coins. More coins available if you use their web application on a desktop. ALWAYS include a refund address, a few times my transactions have not gone through but luckily I included a refund address. Overall it’s a great app that I regularly suggest to the less techy or new to crypto users when they want to exchange a coin for another. Or when in a rush and need a quick exchange with minimal steps. It’s often faster and easier to use when compared to Bittrex or poloniex. Exchange rates are responsible and often worth the convenience.

AVOID! BEWARE OF VULTURES!!!!. They’re Immediately trying to aggressively get u to sign up for a multitude of they're subscriptions!!! This app never even gave me an opportunity to become familiar with what they’re crypto-platform had to offer before scaring me off with continuous conditional ads to immediately subscribe to them! I graciously grant you 5 outta 5 stars for aggressive sales & marketing techniques... but 0 outta 5 on the human element...u have a lot to learn!!! Immediately, upon loading your app, they throw subscription ads in our face, to the point where we cannot even explore what you simply have to offer! I was overwhelmed with your ads and immediately exited out and removed the app from my iOS!!! I’m sure they’re are people out there that are okay with these kinda aggravatingly aggressive sales tactics...but please count me out! Thank you

! Registration Failed. I already have Shapeshift account which I made long time ago with Zendesk, that account is unusable, so I went for new user. Downloaded, tried to do first steps, put in email, set password like asked - 8 char one symbol, did captcha, tapped “I understand”, and… Registration Failed! I have been trying last hour, without VPN, with VPN, on Wi-Fi, on Data connction…NO CHANCE to register and start using the app. Can’t use that email, probably because of already having account through Zendesk, which I can’t use for some reason… I don’t know what’s wrong, this is not my first app…but this is ridiculous

The Easiest Way To Exchange Cryptocurrency. Hands down the easiest way to exchange cryptocurrency, with a large reserve too. Depending on the traffic, and how large of an exchange you are trying to make it may take up to a day or more for your transaction to be completed. All I can say is good things come to those who wait, I've never most any money with these guys and nothing beats not having verify your identity.

Dead app?. I assume this project is slowly dying? The app name is totally different than what it says it should be on the website, and all it does it force me to change my password but then it rejects any passwords I give it. I started with 32 random characters first. Then I removed all but one symbol, then I tried length 20, then length 8, I tried removing the numbers. No matter what it says error changing password: password must be at least 8 characters and contain at least 1 symbol. Well, every single one of the passwords I tried matched that description. This used to be a great app, but its been unusable for a while now.

1984 At It’s Best !. Yes Sir Reeee... 1984 is in full swing especially with ShapeShift’s Newspeak. “No KYC” which is the total opposite. Your IP must first will be recorded, so a VPN for the most part will not work. Wait for it because it gets so much better. Then an email verification. Then your first and last name, address, birthday. Ohhh this is kids stuff still. Then they want your drivers license front and back... wait for it. Then your voice print...wait for it then a video of your face and of course your visa/master card to boot. So for all you tin foil hatters out there hoping for “No KYC” then your going to have to develop it for the rest of the ones who value ‘true’ privacy. When you decide to make something of great value, I and others will be sure to tip you handsomely. Now go out there and do it! Respect!

Amazing until... Anonymity is why crypto is crypto. Did someone get caught up in the tech and forget what and why “crypto is crypto” By forcing one to give details that only his God, Mom and of course traffic police.. nobody needs all that personal info. if i read everything correctly, you were never mandated to keep a secret government list for this app, correct? So unless you just want to hand over all your personals to lord only knows where, selling it to lord only knows, for whatever purpose,,then dont fall for this. The app could be top of the top charts if you drop the “were working on behalf of a secret government agency requirements blah blah blah, then success of an otherwise awesome app could still be had. I will be checking back to see when you update your policy concerning data collection of private citizens.. Xcode developers,, this is bingo time.

Well Organized. Layout of the app is very simple in a good way. Not complicated to use. I do wish there were more currencies available, but I'm sure they'll come over time. One feature I do wish they had: buying coins with credit/debit cards. That would probably make this the best crypto app out there (even without that, it's still really good). Love the idea of exchanging cryptos for other cryptos, kudos for coming up with the idea!

WARNING !!!!. If I could give it 0 stars a would, the fees are way to high I send BTC from one wallet to another it coast $30 just to send me $8 like What the Scam is going on. And plus My reward has been pending sense I paid for the BTC it said I will get once I buy some. Never got it in my account although it said successful but still says pending. Then doing what they ask me to do close the app an re open it just locked me out the account all together and can’t log in as if I don’t know my password. Thank God I took majority of my funds out the app into another one, if you’re reading I give you advice DO not Use This App, Coinbase Is Better then This

Great product.. UI, community, fresh products releases... Shapeshift is doing good things!

It’s okay, but just okay.. I’ve had good experiences with ShapeShift on desktop, so I jumped at first sight of a mobile app. Unfortunately, it only has 3 coins available on the iOS version. There is nothing wrong with the app at its core: it looks good, functions well, and is trustworthy, but it would be MUCH more useful if they had a few more coins on mobile that they support on desktop. As someone with no way to trade throughout the day, this app would be a lifesaver if it just had more coins. ShapeShift; good job, but you’re not done yet (I hope).

Best crypto app. Great app for buying, trading, and holding crypto. Easy to use. Supports multiple chains and multiple protocols.

Intuitive and beautifully designed. Just downloaded this today and already love it. I already was a user of the web based service and jumped at the chance to install the iOS version. The design is very intuitive with an extremely easy to use selection for the From / To crypto conversion options. The graphics in the app are also extremely nice! I'm going to use this as my go-to solution for buying / selling alt coins! Huge thanks to Erik and the team at ShapeShift.

Needed a hard-wallet. Recently, many crypto currency’s and exchanges have been targeted by the US Congress, House of Representatives, The alphabet community along with regulators such as the Sec. As of today Ripple XRP coinbase, Coinbase, Binance, Block fi are to be sued, and later captured. I read this and assumed it’s the right time to move off exchange and internet. I pick this up a few days ago. Works well only using computer, and using a 👉“google👈 created account ID”👈. I did set up. Very high Eth gas fees to move crypto from exchange to hard wallet. Test sent $15 cost $37 gas ⛽️. So I had no other option but to buy different state complaint wallet. But I managed to get a good one. This will be back up to back up.

Fox disappeared. I didn't have much in my shapeshift but I kept it all there for 3 years. I recently created my Fox and my domain name with Mercle. I even updated it a little yesterday. Today it is disappeared and it says I won this or that but nothing is working on it anymore

Unsupported. This community couldn’t be more corrupt and bias. Moderators who take 2500$ monthly to “protect” the community have been called out numerous times for ebullying, moderation overreach, and suppressing users feedback on all available channels. My support tickets, that have no relationship to their moderation duties, closed because they just don’t like me. I’m currently down $300+ from hardware and community investments that I cannot use or access support for. Very disheartening from a “DAO” that pushes the message of fairness.

Attempting to sign up. Have just tried to make application for Shapeshift account but right from the outset I encounter problems as it won’t accept my email address which is a pm.me domain! So I then tried to find your contact details on your website like any legitimate company would have easily laid out on your website. But ohhh no.....Resources, Help Centre and then I must wade through all the stuff that is not relevant to still not find your email address to outline my problem. So the path of least resistance is here for everyone to see. If I could give less than 1 star rating I would. Be upfront with your contact details and have it clearly listed on your website like most with a little tab generally on the left hand side that says ‘Contact Us’. Only reason it could be layed out in your unorthodox manner is because you don’t want contact and you duck and weav like your App namesake Shapeshifter!!

Can't Use App. I loved the idea of this app and just wish I could use it. This app doesn't load properly and then just crashes.

Add Private Key Option. Would be great if there was an option to add or scan private key and make it operate like a true altcoin wallet with support for many alternate crypto currencies

Useles. Can not sign in with Google, I have to use website to login into my account (with Google) and see keepkey balance. I dont delete this app, I waiting for update.

Selling. Is selling crypto possible on this app? If it is it is very unclear

Needs KeepKey Support. I signed up with ShapeShift purely to use my KeepKey, and I’m surprised that the app isn’t designed to detect the device. I tested it with Apple’s lightening-to-USB adapter, and while KeepKey does boot up the ShapeShift app doesn’t recognise it. Any plans to unify your ecosystem?

Keeps restarting. The app keeps restarting when I try to login why ?

Convoluted setup and no way of restoring account using seed phrase.. Positives Slick interface and easy UI Storage of keys on device, retrievable using both password and backup phrase (stored in encrypted form on device) provides extra prevention against phishing. Negatives Having a password also presents problems in that you can’t restore your account on Shapeshift in using the seed phrase, though importing this into another app like Exodus does at least mean there is a way to recover the wallet. That this app and the Shapeshift.io desktop interface are independent is also confusing and again, not explained. The KYC requirement if wanting to swap between chains is also onerous. I realise this is due to more stringent regulatory actions but the fact that cross-chain swaps are now possible without this using such apps as liquidity.io (destop) means I will be using those types of solutions instead.

This app crashes on iPhone 6 before it even opens. Not sure if you are aware of this issue or it is just my phone, I’ll try on iPhone 7 tommorror

Can’t Login. Absolutely can not log in at all. This app is completely useless.

Still no bch. Still no bitcoin cash support on the app

shapeshift huh?. I accidentally selected the wrong language on start and can’t change it now. tried deleting and reinstalling, same language. also it seems to want a login from me, I thought they were going decentralized? I only downloaded the app because the site worked even less.

Unreliable. Not consistent and there is no way to contact. Risky platform.

Too expensive. The miner fees are too expensive. Better off using Coinbase to be honest. It costs more to transfer funds than what my available balance is. Not worth it. Taking the loss and uninstalling app.

App not working. I have an iPhone 7 and the app does not work. Every time I try to verify my account the page just goes blank after I put in my name. I refreshed the app several times. It was also doing that when I first downloaded it.

Charge 10%. Don’t try them , not only they charge 10% and it’s not free it also took hours The Ethereum and Bitcoin network are currently experiencing significant congestion, transactions may be delayed hours.

Useless. Keep crashing on open

Has bugs. Hi there everybody! As a trading app ShapeSift works well and is easy to use . On the other hand the earn feature seems to be buggy upon withdrawing Doge coin and Litecoin. Deposits work well ( of course ) but upon testing the withdrawals there seems to be a glitch ( I assume unintentional ) as the application freezes on the fetching rates and fees for the continuation of the transaction. I have tried to make the dev’s aware of the bugs but to no avail . My hopes is that this review is pointed to someone who is working on the project as the platform has come a long way since it’s inception ( early adopter here ) and I have high hopes for its growth . Scam. Won’t let me log in. Keeps asking for a captcha and re captcha. Unable to access my assets. Crooks!

App "crashing" constantly. I recently downloaded and added a couple transactions. The then app was working fine. After a full day after my buy, the app and both the web browser "stops" loading and goes into a constant loading loop to the point where I cannot even open the app or check my balances. App is now useless as it's stuck on a black screen on startup. Web browser barely functions after every 5th attempt. Contacted support numerous times with no responses. Sketchy practices on play here, I wouldn't recommend using this for users with big asset. Will pursue actions until it is fix, beware

Does anyone use this garbage app?. How the hell does anyone use this app? Trying to simply create an account or log in is such a tedious affair. Connection issues, slow responses... and you’re not accepting gmail accounts then you should state it up front instead of having people input and wait for the damn app to connect go through a through recapcha only to get rejected. Seriously, students could have made a better app. This is friggin’ embarrassing. Do better.

Crashes when loading address book. Crashes when trying to load the address book. Since the app does not work what can one say; great idea, poor execution. Hope there is an update to address the issue.

Do not use!. They took 10% on my exchange. I put in $182 ethereum and got back $165 bitcoin. They also tried to take down my review.

Still waiting.. I etransfer Ed $20 payment.. they proceeded to accept payment then cancel my request to buy Bitcoin. If this is not fixed I’m taking legal action.

Among the worst crypto app out there!!. If you are looking for a great user interface and overall feel, this app is far from it. Miner fees are ridiculous and astronomical. Customer support stopped responding after my order couldn’t be located for a TETHER buy order I created and money debited out of account via e transfer. Still haven’t received my refund. Tried to transfer the rest of my funds to another exchange/wallet and kept on hitting brick walls because the miner fees were close to the values of the asset I want to withdraw. Eventually had to take the losses. There are better exchanges out there.

Update. - app keeps crashing - upon log in, sometimes it doesn’t not recognize my password. - website is barely any better, - reCAPTCHA ( I’m not a robot) does not work a lot of the time and when it finally does “too many unsuccessful log in attempts” There’s been days here and there where I can’t get in at all. Makes me very nervous doin any more business with Shapeshift. Will reconsider my options.

Platform error to new sign ups BAD SIGN. New sign up here, and before I could even verify my account,I have problems with Shapeshift. When setting up wallet, it prompts a new password creation, which will give you constant error message. It’s a beginners block. I will not be recommending this platform due to sign up difficulties so in-app use could not be much better. Negative -1 out of 5 rating. BEWARE

Absolutely terrible.. I never wrote nor ever thought I’d ever write a review but this is absolutely terrible. The miner fees is robbery. If you want to change $30 of btc to ltc, you will have a negative account balance. How is that even possible. And if you send $30 of btc to another address, you are getting $12 of that. Please for the love of god never even think about using this app.

New trader. Hey- is it smooth they made it easy enough to collect “Fox”. Maybe do you think 1000 fox will be trading for a full BTC soon since It’s crypto....Hurray.

Have money can’t access don’t speak the language. Was having issues with my phone, have the backup phrase for my account so reset my phone and redone loaded app, now it’s in another language and it won’t let me access my account and not even sure I’m doing what’s right because it’s not in English, have money that I can’t touch now.... not too happy at the moment.

It works. There was some hold up time (about a day) with an error in executing one of my transfers from BTC to ETH, but support did manage to take care of it. All in all the app gets the job done.

Slow. I bought 630 dollars of ETH and had it sent to the wallet provided within the app. It charged my debit card successfully. But the blockchain status says dropped after waiting since 3pm yesterday. Its nearly been 24 hours since then. and support hasn't helped me out one bit. They keep saying the same message over and over again.

Terrible app; does not fuction. Never even got a chance to try and use the app; after multiple tries and with accuracy of email verified, I could never get past the freeze of the “verify email” page as I would never receive the verification email, so I finely had enough and quit, deleting the app and data. I do not recommend it!!!

Crashes a lot. The app will crash on me then freeze up and not work. I sent a support ticket in and they told me I have to delete it then re download it to make it work. Okay fine but that was over a year ago and the app is still doing this

Deleted it and imported to another wallet. I used to love this app/platform before whatever changes took place within the last 6-8 months. It has been impossible for me to restore my wallet through mobile using seed phrase and I had to scour through numerous zendesk help articles on their website to find alternative solutions. Fees are too high, “dex” is a joke and although I’d love to claim the free FOX, the gas fee to cover is not worth it.

Great App! Definitely worth exploring. This app is ideal for new users and people curious about bitcoin. Started me off with $3 in my account and after a fast account verification I was able to trade it. I really enjoyed how easy it was to share with friends as well.

Very glitchy. This app is really glitchy and freezes quite a lot. They also assigned the wrong price to an asset I had, which is why I paid to move the asset to the app - but they could not exchange at the price they were setting for it. Not really usable.

Neat I guess. Not a great as the website. It would be a 5 star app if it accepted more coins. Edit: dev replied, I guess that makes sense. Gave it one one more star. Hope to see more coins in the future.

Craziest Development Application. When you try to sign in, it force you to change your password and when you changed your password you can’t login cause the error says your password is changed and when you logout and try to login once again same stupid circle is up.

Language. I accidentally changed the language. There’s no way for me to change the language back to English, I do t understand anything that it’s saying. Even after deleting the app and the downloading it. It doesn’t give the option to change the language. It’s such a inconvenience.

Love this App!. I just downloaded the app and it is amazing. I’ve used the website many times and was so happy to have the app. I do most things from my phone and now I can use Shapeshift. Just as easy and fast as the site!

Buggy. Transitioning between screens is slow and laggy. My trades keep canceling and coins get returned. This app has a lot of potential with its mission, but right now it’s almost unusable for me.

They will take your money. I started with this platform more than year ago. And I earned 101 Fox. It is now 60USD. After the market is up they take my money. Can't even Log in. App prompt to make a password after signing in for a wallet and keeps giving "Error creating password." App is unusable - it'd be nice if it'd at least give feedback about what's wrong or missing or symbols not accepted. Hope there's some follow through from the devs.

Non-Functional on iPhone 5s. App has been non-functional on the last 2 versions on an iPhone 5s. The last version log-in screen would not scroll down to access the log-in button to enable logging in. The current version doesn’t open at all.

Initiated a trade 4 days ago........ It’s funny they’re really good at taking your money within 20 minutes but I’ve been waiting 4 days to receive the coin I traded for........ pretty much the worst problem you can have with one of these apps.... at this rate it will take months for me to receive the DCN I bought unacceptable.

My Crypto disappeared. Traded Ethereum for Mirror Protocol and now it’s gone. No transaction history record. App freezes up and you constantly have to reset your phone, now it has glitches. Now I can’t open the App.. Was happy to get hard to find tokens on it. Unfortunately, I didn’t move MIR fast enough to a different wallet.

It Needs Fixing but Awesome app!!. So I use it a lot but when I want to make a deposit, I put in the address I want and everything, but it keeps sending it to someone else and it's driving me crazy 😁

Great tool!. Shapeshift is by far the easiest way to get the currency you need. There are a couple of things to know before you use it though. 1. You need a currency wallet set up already for your destination currency. 2. It is susceptible to the natural latencies in the currencies. In particularly high volume times, it can take hours to process transactions. This delay isn't specific to Shapeshift. One star dinged for reliability. I tried to get into GTC yesterday and shapeshift was down!

App has potential but it freezes non-stop. The app has potential, its use is quite intuitive but it crashes constantly... The average user will prefer more stable platforms for their crypto trading...

“Unable to make an account with that email address”. I use Outlook email and couldn’t make an account. I tried making an account on the desktop website and that didn’t work either. I did the “forgot password” but didn’t receive an email. Weird

Poor service. Made a transaction with this company and it failed. I used the auto return feature and that failed also. Lodge a support ticket with them and was told that it will take 2 weeks to get a refund. I also found out that I will lose the mining fee twice for this failed transaction. Complete BS. The company should step up customer service and also refund the mining fee since it was their fault it failed.

Worse crypto app I’ve encountered!. I’ve had this app for a few months and the fees seem to be out of control. I also had a coin that was actually making profits and they kicked me out of my account and do not respond to emails so assuming there’s no real customer support. This was a very bad crypto app experience and I do not recommend anyone download this app. Developers need to make some real improvements and not be greedy.

App screen changed language to Indonesian.. Hello developers. Some how, I opened the app on my iPhone and my main screen changed from English to Indonesian. I don’t know if I touched the screen when it was loading the main page or what, but I cannot switch it back to English. Really annoying. Thank God I can do it on my laptop. Honestly feel scammed.... So i just deposited $30 to try this out and now it’s. Asking for half of it to transfer the cash out since I can’t purchase anything I want to.. I just paid $15 to find out that this app is totally broken.. don’t waste your time.. glad I didn’t drop any real $$$

Worst wallet out there. This wallet is a scam, wait a hour to buy coins. Get charged 20$ “mining fee” for sending 50$ to another wallet. Not to mention the worst customer support possible that won’t fix any issue. Save your self the trouble and don’t ever use this app there are a million better options then this joke of a wallet.

Missing choices. Your website shows many types of CryptoCurrency to exchange but the app is extremely limited. Even the pic in your app in the App Store shows Dogecoin but the app does not offer that option. Lost in translation to the app???

This app is a scam!! Do not trust. Had thousands in crypto on this app. Went to log in one day to find my balance at 0 and no transaction history. Makes me so sad. I have 12 word seed to my wallet but there is no place to recover it. Got absolutely screwed out of my money because of a glitch. Don’t make the same mistake I did ! This app has literally no support when it comes to this problem. What kind of a glitch logs you out of an account and then gives no way to recover your funds. DO NOT TRUST

Constant crash and frustration. I just downloaded the app and every time I try to login the app crashes. I’ve tried 5 times and the same thing happens each time. It is April and it seems like the same thing has been happening for month despite them hiring someone to fix it. They are losing A LOT of money by not having their stuff figured out. Why spend money on advertising when your product doesn’t function properly???

Worst app. The fees on this app is ridiculous. They have horrible customer service. Their app is poorly managed. It shows I have no coins when I did and then when I wanted my assets off the app because of their mismanagement, they want an exit tax of 15% to send to other wallet that they only charged .06 for the other. *******DONT WASTE YOUR TIME*********

Fees* “Gas”. Steep trading fees in comparison to other platforms ($12 fee when i was trying to trade 19) Update* Okay so not trading fees but “gas” having to pay $12 worth of “gas” to move a little bit of money. Bad service. It literally kept making me verify my account for over a week and every time I try to log in on my phone it always says error and never lets me and they keep making me put in my details to verify every other day horrible app I suggest you don’t get it .

They steal. Careful with this app. I invested money into it only to find out that one of these days, my balance of crypto WAS GONE. If you check their Twitter, numerous of people are experiencing the same thing. I had money in dogecoin and when I checked this morning, my balance was ZERO. It makes sense why their app is called “ShapeShift” because they ShapeShift into scamming and taking ur assets.

Terrible account/app integration. If you use their website, I suggest you never log in to this mobile app. Once you set your password on mobile, according to them, you can never change it, ever again. They’re vague about that in the app. Given their incompetence with developing their system, it makes me wonder how secure they really are and if they would be the victim of a hack similar to one that occurred to Ledger.

So far so good, baby steps. So I just don't openly trust everyone yet with altcoin. But this is a good step forward. Everything worked as expected and I move about 10$ USD to Altcoins. Wish you had the Vericoin option on here but maybe in time it pops up.
