Not in minutes!!. This is the first time I’ve been disappointed in one of these fast grocery delivery services. Like many other similar services, it gives you an estimated delivery time on the main screen. However, upon placing an order, you get a notification that there are no drivers available, and you are placed in a queue, which says your order will dispatch in 15-20 minutes. 40 minutes later and your order still isn’t on the way… you’ve lost motivation to cook… and it’s too late to order delivery. I’ll stick to Gorillas or Buyk.

Advice: make search better. I had to resort to other delivery services multiple times before because getir did not seem to carry any cottage cheese - YET it was only until today that I discovered the fact that they actually carry my favorite cottage cheese when I casually scrolled through the dairy section. And even now, when I search for “cottage cheese” or “cottage” or “cheese”, the listing won’t come up in the search result. I wonder if there’s any other items that were not covered by the search function and if so that’d be a huge pity. Please look into the issue and consider resolving it, as I believe once solved this could actually boost customer’s chance to order with getir.

Use ability needs work, accessibility is on point. So far from what I have seen everything seems to be accessible. There are just a few things that could use some usability testing. For example being able to navigate with headings under a category to quickly find an item. There seems to be only one heading at the top but it could use some subheadings for each section. Other than this and some other things, the app is great and the service is wonderful! I could not give it five stars because these usability things should be addressed otherwise it would’ve been five stars all the way.

Terrible Service. After SEVERAL problematic orders, I’ve closed my account. The number of times deliveries arrived wrong, late, crushed/broken, or never arrived at all is too numerous to count. On my final experience, the whole order showed up SO LATE. When it finally arrived, the olives were in broken packaging leaking oil all over the entire delivery’s items - yet SOMEHOW, the delivery bag still smelled like cigarette smoke from what I can only assume was the delivery driver’s long (or multiple) smoke break along the delivery route. The (so called) customer service line did nothing to rectify the situation. Whether you’re in Turkey or any other country they expand to, do yourself a favor & choose another delivery service!

Favorite new thing!. I was pretty skeptical of this service when I first heard of it. After deciding to give it a try, I am constantly impressed with every aspect of Getir! All the delivery people have been so friendly. Great grocery selection from basic produce to specialty items, including things I can’t find in my usual grocery store. This app has been a life saver! It saved taco night just now when we realized we had no salsa. Thanks Getir!

Eh. I placed an order that arrived on time but was missing something. When I reached out to customer service initially they were helpful, but I randomly got disconnected and connected with another person who kept sending messages in another language. I called the customer service line and the person was kind and said it would take a few days for my refund to come through so we’ll see what happens in a few days.

Really Awful. They started off strong here in Chicago, offered a bunch of promos and stuck to their delivery times. I assume they did the same in most places in order to get a bunch of good reviews. Heck, I even gave a positive review initially and even referred friends. But anymore they are REALLY awful. Stick to GoPuff for sure. I’ve been waiting over an hour and my order is still processing and hasn’t even started the delivery phase. The ETA reads 13 mins. Customer service gave me a 5 dollar coupon for waiting. I’ll be uninstalling after this order and suggest you direct yourself or GoPuff or DoorDash DashMart.

LOOK NO MORE. I Highly Recommend This Service… Tried another upon recommendation, 1st time to do a simple grocery delivery, 👎 An Ad popped up for this service and thought hmm let me see the difference…. Fantastic! Products galore… delivered within minutes ( even ice cream VAN LEEUWEN for $1 first order! Frozen) packaged beautifully- Just ordered again… Fantastic! I can say in closing! My Go to place when I need essentials after a crazy days at work … when your basics are depleted!

Stealing from people-“account credit” vs “promotion”. If they screw up an order of yours, (forget an item that you paid for), they will apply that amount as a ‘promotion’ on your account despite them saying they will apply the “credit” to your account. This is unethical because what you’re actually owed because of their mistake can’t be used with an actual promotion…in turn, you are losing money. This is totally unacceptable, and essentially means that they are stealing from people but applying “account credit” because of a mistake their service made, as a “promotion” to go towards helping with the service fee/delivery fee. Don’t let these people steal from you like this.

Helps out! *Can’t believe they don’t operate in Chicago anymore 😭😭😭. Great deals, even feels like a steal when order with promotions, cheaper than grocery shopping. Fruits and vegetables little bit smaller size than in stores but you get what you pay for, so I think it’s pretty reasonable pricing. / Nooooo no way, what happened, why don’t you operate in Chicago anymore, you were literally the best

Use to be fast and convenient. I was a big fan of the app when it first came out, groceries in minutes, great promotions, fast agile development, helpful and friendly customer service. Discount one star from my past pleasant experience. I fear that the app and company has now past that era. Over the past months, I’ve had numerous negative experiences. Average delivery times (for groceries) have been around 30 minutes, with my order ending up in a queue 4 out of 5 times. Once an order took over 80 minutes to arrive (the estimate was 25 minutes), and customer service was absolutely unhelpful, once even hanging up on the conversation. The focus of the company feels to have shifted from offering value to customers to growth, not feeling like the friendly local startup it once used to be, disrupting status quo and creating true value. Now it feels like just any other product ordering app, you can frequently have flowers, water, food and market supplies delivered from different apps around the same time as groceries in Getir. There are, though, some times, if you are lucky and ordering at a time no one else is, when you can still get groceries in minutes. Hope to see those days come back, and faster delivery in the future.

Promos. I think the promotion codes may be broken… Nearly every day I’ll get some sort of notification saying “Here’s $15 off your next order” or something like that. But then when you click on that notification or open up the app, the promotion isn’t there. Otherwise the app is great. Delivery is super fast. It would be cooler if there were more items to choose from though.

Hasn’t worked yet. Delivery may only be minutes, but the queue may be longer. Very limited selection. When I finally finished filling my cart I tried to check out and it just said they were too busy and couldn’t fulfill my order even tho it estimated a 9 minute delivery. It took half an hour before I was placed in a 20 minute queue for my order to be placed. That said, once the queue was up my order was at my door in 5 minutes. No communication from the driver, but I got it, and it came in a reusable branded bag.

No, their not lying about delivery time!!. I literally didn’t believe it when I opened the app and it said 8 minutes!! They have a huge selection of products and my first order was free (just payed tip) do to a promotion. They actually came in 8 minutes which is much better than Uber eats or other delivery apps where the shortest delivery time is like 25 minutes. Everything went super smoothly, the app is really easy to use and you can even choose contactless delivery or don’t ring the bell. You can also track your order as it comes. This is perfect because I live in an area with a lot of traffic and they can beat traffic on bikes. Would highly recommend!!

Extremely unreliable app, I’m dissapointed.. I’ve been a loyal Getir customer for the past year. I used to love the service and speed of delivery. A few months ago, I placed an order and it never arrived so I contacted customer service and they offered me a refund or credit. Since I use the service so much, I decided to take the credit. First of all, the credit only applies to the items you order, not on any service or delivery fees which is ridiculous considering if I wanted to order that same order, I would be paying extra on top of the credit for additional fees. Second of all, ever since I received the credit, every time I attempt to place an order (no matter what time of day), I get a message that says “Due to high demand in our stores, we’re currently unable to take your order. Please try again”. I would be more understanding if this happened once in a while, but it is every single time I try to order – mind you, I also live about a 5 minute walk from one of the Getir distribution locations so there is no reason for it to be out of service area. If there are no employees working, then don’t display “delivery in 9 minutes” on my Home Screen. I’ve been very disappointed with this company and I’ve lost 54 dollars.

Terrible service!. This has happened to me and to different members of my family, we place an order and wait after an hour it still has not arrived and the status on the app either says “preparing” or “arrived” after we ask for help we always get the same reply they say maybe check if it’s on your door but that’s literally not possible because we live in an apartment complex and the delivery guy can’t come in unless he rings the bell, plus we pay with cash. And today the same thing happened but we asked for help they said the order was taken back because we couldn’t reach you!!! I did not get any notification. The order status was still saying preparing and no one called or ringed the bell and they only canceled the order after I asked and after an hour of waiting!!!!!!!!!!! This app is terrible. This has happened with multiple restaurants and not just one. Deleted it and never using it again.

Worst app ever. Great app, annoying problem.. I’ve ordered off of Getir multiple times and its saved me a lot of money with it’s $20 off of orders, 10-25% off, but there’s an annoying issue where I keep getting a notification about every other day saying I have like $20 off of my next order, and unique lines saying that. But when I go and try to order something it won’t actually give me the twenty dollar off discount. Other than that the app is great.

Fast, maybe too fast. I have used them twice. The first time was perfect, I received all of my items in 5 minutes! The app said the driver had not even left but then the deliver arrived. 30 minutes later the app said the driver was there. The app needs some work and is still buggy. They missed two of my items and it was very difficult to contact customer service. They were very vague about my refund (which I still haven’t received) and don’t feel confident that anything is going to happen.

Great service and great company!. I’ve been using Getir ever since the company first started operating here in Turkey, and I cannot say enough good things about it. I was first drawn to the convenience of the having the essentials delivered to my home, but I have been impressed as this company has continued to develop over time. The variety of products and services, the tipping option (not common in Turkey) that was added in during the pandemic, the efforts made to incorporate local businesses so that they are supported rather than run out of town, and the excellent customer service are all factors that contribute to my appreciation for this company. Love it.

They were great till they weren’t. When they were first getting started and going hard on promoting I never had a bad experience but I guess that ship has sailed they took 60 dollars from 2 different orders 1st order they said order cancelled after waiting 30 minutes and no one notified me for half an hour what was going on with my order the next day I order again 10 minutes later sorry order cancelled wrote support again technical difficulties no apology no nothing they simply said you have to wait up to 10 days for your money to get to your bank feel robbed

Don’t even try to get refund from them. The app and idea are nice. However, don’t even try to contact their customer service department. During order a milk spilled in the bag, and ruined all the products. One of the agents told me that the full refund was issued. 2 weeks passed by, I contacted them again, the second agent told me that the refund was only for the milk and the coupon I used canceled out the milk price. In the result they refunded me nothing. When I asked the second agent to pull up and check conversation with the first agent, he kept replying to the privacy policy. I said aight, then what’s the amount you guys refunded me to which he replied the same way that due to privacy policy they can’t share that information. THEY CANT SHARE THE AMOUNT THEY REFUNDED ME, WHICH WASNT REFUNDED?!!! I wished their customer service was better, would’ve continued using the app

"Basket too heavy". I tried to order from Getir in Chicago. I went through all the steps, put in my credit card info, delivery, etc. Got to the final payment screen where it seemed to be processing until I got an error message telling me that my order was too big and to reduce the size for the safety of the delivery people. OK, that's fine, I'll just remove some stuff. Went through the closeout process again, credit card processing, annnnd same error message. I reduced the size of my order to no avail four times before I gave up. I'm sure it's a great service but I'm not going to spend all afternoon guessing the weight limit for my order. Maybe tell the user how much weight they need to remove? Or indicate that the order is too heavy before they've gone through the entire checkout process?? Or something????

Works great. When it does!. I used to love the app at the beginning, I couldn’t believe how fast and efficient everything was. But now I keep getting issues, like delivery fee too high if I don’t add enough products, but then I do and I get an error that the basket is too heavy, I added some items and showed no stock (why showing then?) and then finally I placed the order but got an error that they didn’t have anyone to deliver (on a Tuesday 8pm in NYC). Seems the service had a great start but now is getting inconvenient to use, and I do know prices are higher so service shouldn’t be as slow as shipt or deliver services like those.

Surprisingly fresh produce. Great in a pinch or if you’re stuck at home for quarantine. Produce is surprisingly very fresh! And delivery is indeed as fast as they say. Prices are reasonable considering the nature of the service, and they seem to have a lot of coupons for new users. I appreciate that the drivers are actual employees of the company as well, since I’ve heard exploiting gig workers is common in the delivery industry.

Good service but glitchy app. Update: I sent an email but it’s been 5 days with no response. I still keep getting notifications for promos that don’t exist. Updating to 1 star for the poor customer service/lack of change I really enjoy using Getir and think it’s a great company, however, the app is incredibly glitchy and customer service is not helpful. The app will send me a push notification for a promo, I’ll click on it within a few minutes of receiving it, and the promo is not in the app anymore. I’ve contacted getir support for this issue and they were absolutely no help. It’s happened multiple times before - one time I added $25 worth of groceries to my cart to find that the promo wasn’t even available. What a waste of time!

Horrible. Half the time you order from here you’ll be put into a queue that’s hours long but they’ll still let you know while ordering that it’ll be 15 minutes to delivery which is a lie the other half of the time you order from here the order won’t show up at all and it’s impossible to reach anyone to get her because their auto bot is broken and they don’t care. The last four times I’ve ordered from here I have never received my order I wouldn’t suggest utilizing this service if you actually need the items you’re requesting.

AS OF APRIL 2023 THIS APP IS A SCAM. I’m so sad about this. I have raved to tons of people about how much I love this app and now I have to warn people. The delivery time used to average about 8 minutes which was INSANE. On bad days (which were rare) it would be 15-20 minutes. I used to time it to brag to people about how fast it was. However, they recently combined with the Gorillas app and the delivery times have gone up to a minimum of 40 minutes, with some taking over an hour and a half. The kicker is the app will still tell you that it’s a 10-15 minute wait, and it will even show you on the tracker that a driver is on the way, but THIS IS A LIE. Customer service makes up a different reason each time it’s late, and you can not get a refund. Also, there is no indication on the app that Getir has been merged with Gorillas. My roommates and I were probably their most loyal customers. With all of us combined Getir was making an average of 6 trips to our apartment a week. We’re so sad that a genuinely legitimate and useful business has now become a scam :(

WATCH OUT FOR SERVICE FEES. This company has gone completely downhill. Used to be so quick and easy and awesome, with reasonable pricing. Now everything is so expensive and the service fees are more expensive than what you order!!! They say free shipping over $50, you have $65 worth of stuff in your cart, so free shipping but all of a sudden they add a service fee thags the same amount as the shipping would have been so basically you’re adding more and more to your cart to get free shipping but wind up paying for it anyway. They now have a “service fee AND small order fee” so you get double charged!!! Watch out!!! This company is so scammy now. So disappointing, I feel sorry for their drivers because they’re going to lose out on tips because people cannot afford all the fees plus a decent tip. Clearly this company doesn’t care about their workers.

Hit or miss. Mostly miss.. I gave this app three chances… The first time the delivery person delivered my stuff to the wrong floor. The second time things were great. The third time I got a notification to order had been delivered and it was nowhere to be found — not in the lobby, checked all the floors to see if the first time mistake it happened again… (I texted with customer support, who said they would have the order re-delivered. An hour later I still haven’t gotten a new order or even an order confirmation so I called customer service and they didn’t have any record of that…) So, when things go as they’re supposed to it’s a great service. But unfortunately in my experience two out of three times there were mistakes.

Stole my Money. I actually used to like this app a lot but they started messing up my orders and drivers would have to go back to the storage after even dropping off at my home. So getting a delivery was hours of waiting and uncertainty of when arrival would be. NEXT - my most recent order and the one that now has turned me off from the app is I ordered a good amount of stuff and the delivery driver kept coming to my home and then leaving cause he forgot stuff (per usual) and then once he droppped off finally it took me a couple hours but I realized a bunch of items were still missing so I contacted getir on there chat line and no one was responding I sat there for awhile and couldn’t get connected to a real person. So I figured they were closed for the night? I guess they found a agent the next day maybe and they tried to contact me but I obviously wasn’t in the live chat log anymore so by the time I was able to contact them again they said it had been 24 hours since the order was placed and I couldn’t receive money back for the items that weren’t delivered. How insane is that. I paid for grocery’s that aren’t even on my table.

For super quick deliveries, this is THE app!. Solved my major concern of grocery deliveries. Shipping charges are minimal and overall the app is greatly optimized to use easily. Highly recommended! Idk about price matching it with the other apps and haven’t tried also don’t have that much time to spare on few different apps but I see it’s reliable. Kudos to the team behind ‘Getir’.

When it works it works. Most of the time it works. The delivery is fast and it has always been correct for me. The perks have gone down a bit in terms of the discounts but that’s okay. The annoying part? You spend time selecting your items, only to go to checkout and have it say “no drivers available”. Now this is misleading because it’s not 10-15 minutes, you might have to wait for a driver in line. Definitely a big logistical problem and not as reliable as GoPuff

Affordable, Convenient and FAST. First time I ordered they had a great promo going high made it very affordable and my delivery came in exactly 6 minutes which I thought was insane. Today I ordered again and it came in literally 4 minutes. I really don’t understand how it’s possible but it’s fantastic. Way easier than going to the store and perfect if you need some extra ingredients to cook your dinner or something!

Foods ok. This is a great alternative to groceries if you are busy running around and dont have time to go shopping. I will say the food is definitely not top notch quality. Perhaps it was just my experience but select things i would not buy again ie the sweet potatoes were the size of my head, definitely GMO’d. my head of broccoli was frostbitten, id imagine it was just hanging out at some warehouse for a while.. bananas seemed old as well. Id use again but perhaps not for produce. Things like milk. Snacks, etc are fine

Sometimes deliver bad things, no refund. I quit this app. I used to like it, but every so often I’d get a bad or expired item. Food is expensive. In this economy we can’t afford to shrug and throw food in the trash. I already give some charitable contributions. I’m already more generous than I should be with tips and everything else. I don’t consider paying for inedible food a form of charity or kindness because it feels more like being ripped off- again- by another company. The last time it happened and I complained, I was told there was nothing they could do. This is true of so many companies and I am tired of it. So I removed my account. That’s something I could do - when they couldn’t do anything about my wasted money. The drivers were great. I’m iffy about the company, though.

Stole from me twice. The first time I ordered dominos I paid online then the driver said he could not find my house. After over an hour of going back and forth trying to give him directions the customer service assistant told me its my fault and did not offer any refund. I ordered dominos a few times after that without paying online and they always managed to find the house. The second time the driver stole a burger from my bag. When he delivered the bag to my door he kept his helmet on covering his face which seemed strange. When i opened my bags i was missing a burger even though the receipt on the bag clearly listed how many burgers should be inside. Again customer service refused to give me any refund.

Cannot place order. I keep trying to place an order, and every time it shows the Getir logo spinning and times out and goes back to the checkout page. I have already updated the app and deleted it from my Home Screen but that didn’t help. A customer service rep said there’s nothing wrong with my account. Please fix this issue!! Thank you Update 10/26 STILL having the same issue. I’ve done all of the suggested fixes and it still keeps timing out and will not let me place my order. Beyond frustrated and forces me to shop elsewhere. PLEASE FIX YOUR APP

Omg - So Fast. I literally got my order in 10 mins. What are you guys reading people’s minds??? That’s crazy how fast it was delivered. I never experienced that before with any delivery service. The only thing I wish they had was greater inventory to choose from because there’s very little selection. I’ve submitted a lot of items to add, I hope they get added soon because I will definitely be using the service again if it is!!

Problematic App. I spent an hour to work out their app with cryptic errors and admitted defeat at the end. When I try to check out the app throws an “Unknown Error” (very helpful description developers, thanks!) then gets back to the cart screen. My theory is: when I tried creating an account first, I realized I typed the last digit of my phone number incorrectly, but there was no way to go back and edit it (the phone number is grayed out, but why???), so I had to to recreate an account with the correct number and activate it (could not activate it the wrong number of course). I suspect your device ID is checked against phone numbers registered for that device ID, and if there are multiple accounts you are banned. This is just my guess. I called customer support and they had no clue. I was told to send an email to some email address so technical support may help. Well thanks, I deleted the app, ordered my stuff from somewhere else and got them delivered in half an hour instead if 10 minutes. I am ok with that :) Overall, good idea, but poor execution of the app and lack of quick technical support.

Satisfied customers!. My roommates and I have all used Getir multiple times. They always deliver our orders to us quickly and with extraordinary care (ex. breakable items are packaged in bubble wrap). The app has a good variety of items and stellar deals that keep us coming back! There’s also no delivery fee. Customer support is incredibly responsive. I had to cancel an order because I had placed it to the wrong address. I immediately was able to text a member of their support team as my order was being processed, and they helped me to cancel the order. The full amount was then refunded to me within two days! My only gripe with the app is that you can’t scroll through available items outside of business hours, but I think that might be because their inventory changes so frequently. There are a couple of bugs in the app like an “order not found” pop up after I’ve placed an order or a random “unknown error” message. However, I’m able to track my orders, and I’ve always gotten what I needed. Overall still very satisfied from the savings and convenience of the app.

BIG SCAM!! DON’T DELIVER!!! DON’T REFUND!!!. This service was passing out discount codes in my neighborhood. I thought I would give them another try. BIG MISTAKE! I placed an order that was not delivered completely. I tried to contact them, no one entered the chat. I tried again the next day, no one entered the chat. I tried again, no one entered the chat after 45 minutes I gave up. Finally, the fourth time someone entered the chat only to tell me that nothing could be done. Why? Because, the refund window was closed. So, if you order, just know you will get zero response from customer service until after the refund period closes and will therefore have no ability to have your money returned for the items you do not receive. They will also refuse to complete the delivery with the missing items. You will simply be out the money you paid for things you didn’t receive. I suggest you never order anything from this service. If you do, don’t expect to receive it and know that you will not get your money refunded!

I work for them. I recently got the job and i love it, i love being outside and biking and it allows me to do that full time and i try really hard to be as fast as possible. And unlike alot of other delivery jobs because the bikes arent mine i dont have to worry about the stress of bike maintenance and i have a set hourly pay plus benefits so i dont rely on peoples tips. Awesome platform! Glad they came to the us. Also i tried the delivery for the first time and it was great, great promos and they have good vegan and gluten free options

App won’t complete order. Tried to use the app to make a purchase but kept getting the error message “your basket is a bit heavy for our couriers. Could you lighten the load?” Happy to do so! But there was never a message in the UI previously about any sort of % capacity threshold I was reaching with each item I was adding to my cart. And it’s an insanely bad UI to couple that omission with encouragement at each step to hit a spend threshold for free delivery. Why the contradictions? What is frustrating is I was given no information about what was causing the issue. I kept removing items one by one and still, every time I tried to proceed, the same error message came up. Finally I was down to one item. A single bunch of bananas. Is this April fools? Do better.

constant problems. Literally the most buggy delivery app ever. A month ago it stopped allowing me to order food via getir (constantly says “all couriers are out for delivery. try again in a few minutes”). So I had to find places with restaurant delivery to be able to order anything, now even this stopped working (all of my cards simply return “payment failed”) so freaking annoying! I spent hours with support about these issues but the first level support is extremely useless. Can’t believe how much time I spent on trying to resolve this 😬 P.S. region is Turkey (Istanbul)

App is for Istanbul. Why in U.S. App Store?. Why can I buy this app in U.S. when after installation it tells me it is for Istanbul. I’m in America!?!? This keeps happening that the App Store offers me apps from other countries and in languages I don’t speak. Why? Update to developer’s response: then you should sell the app only to folks in the cities you currently serve. You are losing customers with this bait and switch tactic. We customers are busy people and don’t like having our time wasted. Apple? Why am I being sold (free) apps to waste my time and junk up my iPhone when they don’t work in my area? Shouldn’t be allowed to approach customers unless they can also service those same customers. Bad business practice to run off customers before you could even sell them anything. Not cool devs.

Absolute Garbage Experience. One opened about 5 doors down from us, so we thought to support local, we’d try it out for fun. We ordered $20 worth of groceries, we tipped $5, mind you were taking maybe 200 feet away from us. The driver shows up and berates my wife saying how dare we not tip him and that he only works for tips and that we need to be better people. She explained that we did tip him and he stormed off anyways. We called Getir to make sure he received his tip and he indeed did. On top of that, I get advertised on every platform I visit to sign up for Getir. It got so aggressive that I’ve started reporting the ads every time I see them. I now get them more than every and the only add I see is their logo and an extremely annoying clicking sound. It honestly feels like I’m being punished for trying to stop seeing their ads. I never write reviews but Getir has been such a bad experience that I felt compelled.

So fast!!. Super quick service. I was really skeptical when the ads promised quick delivery, given that I’ve used other apps that take hours to deliver (gopuff I’m looking at you!!!). It genuinely takes 10 minutes for things to be delivered to me. I got groceries delivered the day before Christmas and was able to make an awesome Christmas dinner thanks to them! Even when they have limited couriers, it takes 5-10 minutes to get out of the cue. 🥰 super happy I tried it and grateful they have generous promos.

Fair Wages and a Great Business Model. I was suspicious of this 10-15 minute delivery app at first. I didn’t want to support the company if they were only able to offer their services through exploitation of the workforce. I have learned that that is not the case. They pay $15/hr^ and 100% off tips (which are strongly encouraged) go to the rider/driver. Props to Getir for getting it. The business model seemed strange for a moment as well but after looking into it and considering the tradeoff between overhead and manpower that other delivery apps utilize, their dark store strategy makes total sense. I hope this company does well and is here to stay. Getir’s dedication to creating a sustainable and fair workplace has won my support. After noticing a bunch of entitled reviews of the app, I thought it important to point out the far more important good qualities of the company. Oh yeah. the orders actually do arrive in 10-15 minutes, but I’d even be satisfied with 30 minute orders. And your first few orders around $20 plus a tip (which better be generous with free groceries!) are practically free right now with the array of promotions available on checkout. My order today arrived in 7 or 8 minutes. Pretty incredible.

I complain and they blocked me.. I ordered unsweetened almond milk from getir Ankara, they brought me normal almond milk, I complained about that and they promised me that they will come and change the milk, it’s been a week they didn’t come and not even calling me.. it’s been 3 days I checked on the app, I realize they that they have blocked me, since my husband app works totally fine. Very bad customer service, I’ve been shopping with the non stop and they did this to me.. very disappointing shopping app.

Can not be trusted. Unfortunately in Turkey familiar apps like Deliveroo and Uber eats are not really operating so was forced to use Getir, although the app itself is great the company is totally abysmal to customer service. Most of the time orders arrived completely wrong or didn’t arrive at all, was promised re delivery which never happened, so my cash stolen basically..

Be careful paying by card. Some restaurants don't deliver or make incomplete deliveries. You LOSE your money. Support is difficult to get through to and not very helpful. Pay by cash to be safe and check your order before paying

No delivery. Delivery was not received. Customer support doesn’t care and advises “we are ending this chat to attend other customers”

False advertising and lack of customer support. Claim to give you £15 pff your first order which isn’t in the promo section and not applied at the cart. Contacting customer service was a complete waste of time as they obviously copy and paste template responses and dont read your email.

Organised theft. Worst company. Despicable customer service. A full bag of grocery was missing and despite multiple follow up, I was never reimbursed. When ordering food, the driver won’t ring the doorbell then claim I was « not available » and keep my food instead of leaving it at the door (if claim of not opening the door had been true). Also no reimbursement. Save yourself the trouble and go with the competitor instead.

Server error, no explanation. I live in Canada , I used to use Getir to order groceries for my brother who lives in Istanbul Turkey. Getir app is available in Canadian app store , but it does not work anymore and gives me server connection error. The website also does not open and gives me 403 error. No explanation what happened and why it stopped working.

Does not stay logged in. It’s annoying that I have to keep relogging in every single time I am on another device. I would also have liked for the items I placed in my basket to remain there across devices. Other than that, I appreciate that there is English language option.

Took my money twice without delivery. I ordered several times with Getir as a foreigner in Istanbul. Two times, my food was not delivered by the driver to my address and a refund was never given. When I contacted support, they said they couldn’t issue a refund as well. Absolutely shocked by how poor the customer service and service quality compared to other food delivery apps. I’ve never had to deal with this garbage with any other service like Bolt or Ubereats.

Advertisement doesn’t mention minimum order amount. I think this might actually break advertising rules here… but yes, the ads say 15 off your first order without mentioning you have to spend 20. Not a huge deal in the scheme of things, but shady.

This is a Scam app that doesn’t deliver. I used this app 3 times and all three times it didn’t deliver and wasted 4 hours of my time every single time.

Hyped up company. 50/50 chance of food arriving. Such a weak company, trying to expand to Europe and expand while they can not even fulfill orders. Frugal company built on hype. Unreliable works a couple times and fails a couple times. Very weak logistics and no customer experience.

Food menu only in Turkish. Food menu is only in Turkish language despite you select English but still the menu won’t change. Very annoying.

Great service with a bags problem. I love Getir for what they do and how, but in just a few orders I am now stuck with a whole bunch of non-recyclable bags that aren’t a very comfortable shape to reuse for anything else. Half the time all of my order could’ve fit in one, and I get 3. I can’t return them for reuse, either. I feel guilty using the app as the result.

SLOW and impersonal service. While the app falsely promises “delivery in minutes.” the ETA may say 15 minutes, it’s incredibly inaccurate and will take way over an hour to arrive- this has been the case when I tried to use them twice. I eventually cancelled. It’s way better to use other services like GoPuff and Ubereats, which are always accurate with their delivery times and also offer reliable customer service.

Brought me expired food and no way to reach them. There is no chat or email in the app only a phone number so I called and the lady was super rude to me telling me that I needed to chat or email them and I told her that there was no option in the app and she was super rude and hung up on me and they brought me two expired chicken thighs that was supposed to be my dinner for over 10 euros. It’s not the money it’s the principle I’m gonna call my bank and get a refund and never use them again

Worst delivery service ever experienced. Tried ordering from this service twice and had two similar poor experiences. The first order took over 60 minutes just to find out it was never delivered. They said they were going to redeliver and that it would take 10-15 minutes. Nothing came. They said it never delivered again. I requested a refund. I tried again the following day and the same thing. Do not download this app, try a different delivery provider.

Lack of care for missing items. I ordered 5 items, only received two of them. The agent started to help and gave me a choice of refund or credit for the two missing items. Once I made my choice the agent turned it around and said you will receive nothing as there was still a delivery. He ended the chat and now I am out money for the missing items and the $10 in fees I paid to only receive half of my order. I will be using other delivery services from here on out. Why risk wasting money on a service that can’t be done right?

It works simple as that.. App is easy and straight forward. The stuff you order comes in nice Getir reusable bags. Overall it’s not expensive delivery cost at all and you get pretty good deals. Oh and obviously the important part they are fast! I live in Bucktown ordered twice, overall 20-25 min and it’s here.

Better than GoPuff. Used in Chicago. My order came in 13 minutes. I never write reviews but I’m truly blown away by how good their selection is, how many promotions they give, and the speed. They really have something here & I wish I was a shareholder

Excellent grocery delivery within 20 minutes of order. I love how easy it is to order groceries from Getir. Everything came in a cute recycle bag and within 20 minutes of my order - I ordered it at 830pm on a Sunday night. So I would presume the service is even faster during work hours. Very pleased with this app!

Watch Out GoPuff!. After seeing advertisements for Getir on Twitter, Tik Tok, and around the city I finally decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! The service was super fast and convenient, plus I got free reusable grocery bags! I could certainly see myself using Getir over GoPuff in the future. I can't wait to see what else Getir brings to the table in the future 🥳

The credit it a scam. Do not accept the credit alway request a refund to your card. The application does not have the capabilities to issue a credit instead they issue you a coupon. in order to use the full amount of your credit you have to order more. in other words you have to pay more in order to use the money they’ve already taken from you.

Horrible customer - If nothing goes wrong you’re lucky. Their customer service was terrible and not helpful at all. They offer absolutely no solution to any problem that occurs. They respond time is also very long and the person in their end doesn’t seem to comprehend situations well. If nothing goes wrong g with your order, lucky you. Otherwise, be prepared to waste your time and absolutely get annoyed - throw that “deliver in 15 min” out the window.

it’s NOT a “in minutes” service | Feedbacks are not in place. i used to be very happy w their service. and have been a customer for 3 years now. however, when a company (allegedly) reaches a certain point, their product & services start slowing down and customer service becomes unresponsive. this is certainly not a service “in minutes” per se, it takes an hour sometimes (and NOT during rush hour at all) and when you give feedback, they don’t so so much about it really.

Going down the drain fast. They were only fast and affordable when they tried to expand their customer base. Now I’m assigned to a hub next town over and their driver took forever to get here. Why? Because instead of the bikes thag used to deliver, he got here by car. Which, in Boston, is ridiculous. Prices have also increased by a lot. Customer service is useless. Couldn’t say why I can order from their hub 5 min away from me anymore and “don’t comment on vehicles” when I asked why they advertise bike delivery and then it gets here in a car. Deleted the app now.

Impossibly fast delivery.. Every time I use Getr, I am absolutely blown away by how fast the delivery comes. I live in Cobble Hill, not near anything and somehow my orders always get here in less than 10 minutes and sometimes 5. It’s insane, and incredibly convenient.

Gets ‘ir fast. Can’t believe how fast they can get groceries to the house! It is a super easy process to order and pick up! Great app and appreciate the Chicago area service. They have forgotten an item once or twice and always made it up with a coupon or something.

I’m seeing the exact same service that is extremely fast, professional and friendly. They constantly have promotions and deals, and they never are out of a product. Bad customer service. So I’ve ordered from getir a few times. The deals can be great, and by and large delivery has been smooth. But today they sent me an open package of chicken, and they’ve kept my husband on the phone for at least 45 minutes *so far* without resolving anything. Worst customer service ever? Maybe! The guy tried to tell us there was nothing he could do after delivering spoiled meat. …..seriously…..? I’m really confused about what their customer service is employed for, if it’s not…. Fixing… Getir…. Problems. Meanwhile, I’m in the middle of making chicken soup and every single thing has ground to a halt. TLDR: two stars because when they’re good they’re very good, but when they’re bad, they’re horrid.

Ethical and awesome. I love, love, love that 100% of the tips go to the drivers and that they pay a much higher wage than any of the other delivery apps. All of my orders have come within 5 minutes, which I don’t understand—seems superhuman—but obviously I am incredibly happy about that. Definitely my new favorite delivery app.

Good drivers Bad Customer Service. After I placed an order it said it would be ready in 8min…45min later and the order was still not picked up. I messaged the CS team about it and the woman I had to deal with was so cold and rude. She showed no compassion for the delay. I use the app a lot and never thought Id have this problem with their team…really disappointing. I decided the best option for me moving forward is to simple switch to their competitor Glovo as even though they might be slower at least Ill get a CS team who care about me.

Excited and then disappointed. Was super excited to try the app but then my courier didn’t move for 45 minutes. I reached out to customer support who were completely unhelpful. They did cancel my order but were unable to provide any information for the cause of delay and instead just kept reassuring me the courier was on the way when he clearly was not. For a company obsessively focused on customer acquisition, the poor customer support was both a surprise and a disappointment.

Bad service.. After ordering and their delivery guy reached my location, he called me and I did not answer and I called him back after 3 minutes he did not pick up I called there support team and they told me that the delivery guy is gone and your food is gone and your money is gone I raised a complaint and they did not call me back and they did not explain why the delivery guy did not wait for 3 minutes. Just to get down from the seventh floor to the ground floor.

Fast service. First off, this was my very first time ordering with this company, and i must say their service is so fast and the delivery guy was nice and friendly, i have to say ,thank you so much and i’ll be ordering again !!

Poor customer support. It’s so sad that this mobile application is too good looking but not functioning good, you must add feature that delivery drivers must click button to be be able to get the order to the customer, now im stuck on preparing status and i have been waiting for 90 minutes, support service is too poor no actual answers what so ever, i think if you see trendyol application and use it, you will see the difference and try to fulfill the missing bugged features you have.

Sent me someone else’s broken order. Covered in broken washing up liquid… 3 hours later, still no replacement delivery, certainly was not sent ‘asap’. (They also wanted me to hand them back the other person’s order … why? You can be sure that person is not honestly reporting having received MY order, they are clearly enjoying it); which would have required me waiting around to buzz them in. (Hint: don’t make the service’s incompetence into your patrons’ responsibility.)

But the most egregious offense is the decline in the quality of their deliveries. Once known for its prompt service and affordability, Getir now demands a king's ransom while providing a jester's performance. The crowning disappointment was the delivery of moldy diapers, a stinging testament to the erosion of their once-impeccable standards. Getir, you've lost your way – and our faith in your service.

Perfect Service. I was very surprised for the great service that I got. This was the first time that I have ordered something and ‘Getir’ made it really easy for me! I download the app and made an account, then they gave me $20 promotion. It’s only took 11 mins to get here after ordered it. Def recommend

Fair prices to start. They have been pricing their products very fairly with special deals and coupons upon launching the app. I hope they can keep this up because it’s often cheaper than 7-11 and I struggle to leave my apartment so it’s really helpful especially on a low budget

Can’t order anything. Whenever I try and order there is always “high order volume” . They need to get this fixed. It’s inconvenient and a waste of time. I had to order from another company.

Meet the Theranos of delivery apps. Quite possibly the worst thing on demand grocery app to date. Who knows if they even operate and deliver groceries!? Five calls in and still no response. The “support” person just suggested I uninstall and reinstall the app. That’s amazing; makes the application download data look superb for potential suitors who will be blinded to the fact the whole operation is a farse, that the number of downloads doesn’t actually equate to public interest but rather just how many people were instructed to procedurally reinstall the app. It’s a complete financial front. Some business savvy child with an unearned, undeserved sum of money has the financial capital to waste into a completely none profitable business operation that doesn’t even deliver groceries. In turn they will sell this “business” hyped up to consumers as if it was an actual business venture. Go

The service and app are great. Nothing has ever taken longer than 15 minutes by me. The prices are usually about what they’d be at the grocery store, except for the always large amount of super sale prices and a good amount of freebies. The app is easy to navigate. All in all there is zero to complain about.

Used to love this app. I used to love this app but all the added fees are not worth it. They’ve started to add a fee that’s meant for orders under $15 (which I understand) but every time I go to place an order that’s pre-taxed over $15, the fee still remains. I’ve asked multiple times about it and I get answers that don’t make sense. I recently had a promo that was $20 off $25 so I ordered $30 worth of stuff and with the promo, I still ended up paying $20 because of the fees.

Awful for the environment. The service is quick, however their sustainability measures are nonexistent. Unlike other delivery apps, they refuse to accept the bags back to reuse/recycle. The bags are made out of a thick plastic material that can be recycled in standard bins and result in absurd amounts of waste if you are a frequent user. At this point paper bags would be better than what they’re giving out. The delivery drivers should be able to accept back the bags and I’ll definitely to switch to a service until that happens.

Amazing. Staying for a few weeks in Amsterdam, this saved me countless trips to the grocery store for all kinds of stuff. Incredibly quick and they take Apple Pay, unlike the local grocery chain that only takes cash or Dutch Debit.

Fast and convenient. They have a decent, growing selection, the service is amazingly fast, and the app is very easy to use. The prices are a bit higher than what you would pay at a grocery store but they have exclusive items and periodic deals too. I haven’t used the restaurant delivery feature yet but I’m really happy with the grocery item delivery.

Delivery. First time ordering, it got here super fast. Very nice friendly delivery person. I like that you can track your order it tells you when it’s at your door. That’s a very good option during this cold weather.

Long wait times. This is probably the last time I’m using this app. It used to be great when I forgot an ingredient for dinner, I could have it delivered within 20 minutes. Now my wait times are regularly 2+ hours while waiting for a driver to deliver my order. I’ve had the same delivery driver for my past 3 orders which makes me think my getir location only has a single delivery driver. With the wait times and fees it’s just not worth it anymore.

Poorly trained drivers. I’ll preface this by saying—I don’t care how this sounds (remove my review if need be). I haven’t even used the app, I’m sure it’s great, however one of your delivery drivers nearly hit me on his pedal bike while I was crossing the road. He was driving against traffic on the wrong side of the road so I did not think to look to my right as there shouldn’t have been any oncoming traffic (from that side). Frankly, I don’t care if you don’t know the area—it’s common sense and traffic law knowledge that he lacked.

Cancelled Order. Getir is incredibly mid especially considering they don’t offer a wide range of supplies to actually order from. My largest plight is that they came all the way to my house to drop off my order but because I was unable to reach my phone and answer the phone they CANCELLED my order and then I had to replace the order at a higher cost. Truly unacceptable, especially because I couldn’t call them back and talk to anyone to explain since they pulled off already.

Weird app. I downloaded this in hopes to be able to not go outside for shopping and coming back to no parking spaces. When putting in the address I was disappointed to find that I’m “not in their service area”. This made me confused and also annoyed. Why do I have to be in their service area to buy groceries? It doesn’t seem logical. This app is not fair for the people that are not in their “service area” and just excludes them from the people that can get groceries from this app.

I LOVE This APP!!!!💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽🤩🤩🤩😍😍😍. This app is great and came in clutch. I love the people that made this app. It saved me time and energy and while I was working and needed groceries for my family after work and didn’t have enough time or energy to go to the store after 16+ hour work schedule. The people at getir are super nice and helpful. A++ for the creation of this app.

Getir delivers ROTTEN vegetables. Getir don’t care in regulating their quality of produce they deliver. They deliver rotten vegetables and when reported their agents have nothing to say other than “we don’t have enough information”. Getir doesn’t care for the customers and focused on just growing fast without any quality checks in place. Poor customer service with incapable customer care agents. Getir management is ignorant when it comes to customer health shows from their action. Do not trust Getir especially if you ordering produce.

Perfect Grocery App for College Kids. I’m a Berklee student, and I’m broke. Almost every time I order, there’s a deal where I can order $25 worth of stuff and only pay 10 bucks or so. Cheaper than getting everything at the 7/11 or Target close to campus, even if the groceries are slightly more expensive.
