No regard for customer. I had made an order around 3:30 pm in advance and set it to be delivered to me at 5:45 so me and my daughter could eat. At 5:30 I checked to make sure it was getting ready, and I see that the estimated time of arrival went up to 6:30. I was confused and concerned so I reached out to the customer service. They told me that my order is delayed, but that I could get refunded based on how late the delivery was. They wouldn’t tell me why it was going to be late. I called the restaurant and they had my food ready to go, and it was a 6 minute drive from the restaurant to my house. I contacted support again, and they claimed that they were having a hard time finding a driver. At 7:30, and 5 support agents later, they ended up marking my order as complete, yet the food was still at the restaurant. I contacted support and all they offered was a refund and a $5 credit. Don’t use BiteSquad, as they do not care about their customers. I waited nearly 2 hours after my scheduled time for delivery and ended up having to go pick it up myself with my 2 year old at nearly 8 o’clock at night. It was terrible customer service all around.

The worst of the delivery apps. Having 4.6 stars is baffling. The handful of times we've had orders not picked up, not delivered, or just flat disappear have all been on here. Once, I ordered food that was already taking over 1.5 hours, then the driver sat down the road for 30 minutes before my order was suddenly cancelled. This evening, we place an order, it's marked delivered when clearly not here. We're told the order is still at the restaurant and the driver "unreachable." Ok, fine, credited back and we replace the order, only to be contacted by bite squad a while later that "the restaurant can't make the order, they're too busy." I hope the restaurant just removes the service and switches to another one, because that sounds to me more like the restaurant isn't going to get screwed again and won't make it because it's a "duplicate" order. And sorry, but I'm not accepting food that's sat for an hour and a half by that point when it's not our fault. Now almost two hours later, figuring out where to eat and never using this service again.

Hope you never require a refund. I’ve used Bite squad for years and never had a problem until recently. First problem was two weeks ago. The app crashed as I was placing my order, I was charged, they claimed the order didn’t go through and that I had NOT been charged. I reordered since I was guaranteed the first order had not been charged to my account and I went ahead and asked them to cancel the first order just to be on the safe side. I checked my account a few days later and I had in fact been charged for both orders. I spoke to someone else, they said my order had been cancelled and a refund had been issued. I was told to wait 3-5 business days to be posted to my account. A few days later I placed an order that was later canceled due to the restaurant being too busy. Fine I know it isn’t bite squads fault, but I was still charged for the order. I waited a few days and contacted them again. They now claim that I was never charged for that first transaction even though the second person I spoke to said I would get a refund in 3-5 business days. They also wanted to give me bite squad credit for the order that had been canceled which I should have never been charged for in the first place. Now I have to go through my bank to dispute the transactions which is absolutely ridiculous. I never had a problem until I required a refund on orders I should have NEVER been charged for. Needless to say I will never use this service again.

3rd Time Food Never Showed Up After Hours!. We have ordered food and the food didn’t show up after waiting for hours. This time we called the restaurant to be sure the were open and received the order. They said they had received and it had been sitting there for over 25 minutes. Then, we reached out to Bite Squad - which took forever for them to respond - and they said don’t worry the driver was on their way they must’ve forgotten to updated their location. So again, we waited another 45 minutes. Then, they said that the driver was canceled and another driver was being assigned, we still waited. The restaurant had been closed for more than 30 minutes at this point, so our food was not coming or was sitting outside. Then, we asked if they were sure it was coming, they didn’t respond for another 30 minutes. Now we are tired and it’s much later than when we go to sleep. They eventually, after over explaining the situation, agree to a refund and - $15 credit.... for ruining one of my nights off work and now being too late to order anywhere else, ruining the mood and not to mention probably wasting food and a local restaurant’s time and money. Never ordering again!

2 weeks and no refund. UPDATE: after a total of 18 days I finally received my refund. If I could give this app 0 stars I would. The app is really trash. You can’t effectively communicate with customer service when issues arise. And the simple fact that the app said my food was delivered when in reality no driver had ever picked up the food from the restaurant is problematic. I’m sure had I not reached out to the restaurant who in turn reached out to bitesquad to create paper trail proof that my food was never picked up I may have never received any form of a refund. Not sure where my previous review disappeared to so I’ll just make another one. Still highly disappointed I had to wait 2 days for customer service to respond to me about a “delivered” order. Which was never picked up from the restaurant. I found this out by calling the restaurant myself when I couldn’t get a response from Bitesquad in a timely fashion. I was told by bitesquad I would have a refund in 3-5 days for fees and tip I was charged since I went to the restaurant and picked up the food myself. It’s been 2 weeks since I was told that, and still I have NOT received any form of a refund.

AMAZING STAFF, let me help you out.. I have been using bite squad a lot. The drivers are ALWAYS friendly. During this quarantine, I know they are still out there doing their jobs. I worked in the cardiac cath lab, and open heart surgery for 23 years. I have been making surgical masks. Today I asked my delivery lady, Shannon (who’s been here before) if you guys would like to have some. I know that it has to be a bit concerning for them. I would not call bite squad or ask for a delivery if I even thought I was sick. I would like to help out by supplying masks. I’m getting faster at making them, I have TONS of fabric. It’s 100% cotton, double lined, it also has a piece of pipe cleaner in the top for those of us she wear glasses. If someone could call me, I can talk a little more about helping out. There tie on, they are reversible, and washable. They are in my opinion. the best mask a person can wear. I have Shannon my delivery lady my name and number.

Never using again. Until my most recent experience, my husband and I have liked using Bite Squad for nights where a trip to the grocery store just isn’t going to happen, or I come off my 3rd 12 hour shift too tired to cook. Tonight I received only part of the dinner I ordered. A burger that came with a big side item. The burger arrived with no side item, so half of my dinner was missing. I called the restaurant and they informed me I needed to contact Bite Squad. After speaking to customer service, apparently the Bite Squad policy is that your missing food items will only be delivered to your house if it is an entire entree, not part of your meal. So the entire company gets away with constantly missing food items as long as they didn’t screw up enough to forget the entire food box, but 50% of it is okay. They offered a credited monetary amount to my account. For anyone who comes home from 12 hour shifts, orders food, waits 45 mins through a growling hungry tummy only to receive 50% of your meal and told to fill that hungry growling stomach with an internet credit, I empathize. I will never use Bite Squad again.

BEWARE They WILL take your money WITHOUT permission. I really loved this service at first. I even recommended it to friends and paid for the bite squad unlimited subscription. BIG MISTAKE. I moved to a different city that didn’t offer delivery in my area so I cancelled my unlimited plan. Or so I thought. I got a confirmation email saying that my unlimited subscription was canceled. I thought it was all good however the next month they charged my card for unlimited. I didn’t notice the first time. That’s my bad but I had no reason to think they were going to charge me. Then they charged me the next month and I did notice. I emailed customer support and they said they were sorry and gave me my money back. Seems like problem solved only they have continued to charge me every month for half a year and every single month I contact customer service and hear the same thing. They are sorry but they don’t fix it. I DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. I removed my card info from their app to try to get it to stop. I am still charged. They have my personal information stored and they continually take money out of my bank account every month without my permission. Please beware that this can happen. If I could go back I would never give my credit card information to these con artists. It is not worth the headache I have gone through. BEWARE

The best food delivery service, by far. The app can be a little quirky, but the service is excellent. In my area, there are 5 or 6 food delivery companies, and I’ve tried them all (Except GrubHub, because they don’t want my business). Bite Squad drivers are always affable, and estimated delivery times are almost always close to reality. On those rare occasions when something goes wrong, Bite Squad is always proactive about making things right. I’ve probably ordered from Bite Squad 40 or more times, and I’ve never come away with a bad taste in my mouth. Pun intended. Some of the restaurants definitely charge unreasonable delivery fees, but the answer to that is simple - order from a different restaurant. Regarding the app, the most persistent problem is missing menu options. For example, a menu description might say that a certain item includes 2 side items, but the app only gives the option to select 1. The workaround is simple - just put the second side item in the comments. That has always worked for me. I’ve never really had any more serious problems with the app. I have watched the app get better over time, and I see no reason to expect that the refinements won’t continue. I realize the review is supposed to address only the app, but since the app is only used to access the service, I chose to review both. I hope it’s helpful.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!. The first time we used them was just bad. The "estimated" delivery time just kept moving later and later. Would not have ordered if we would have been originally told how long it would have taken. The second time...RIDICULOUS!!! Ordered at 7:45 with an estimated delivery of 7:38. At 7:45 am still no food I checked on our order and it said it was still being made with a delivery time of 9:20. I called the restaurant to complain and they said it was ready 25 minutes ago, someone had picked it up, then someone else came and they said it was gone!? Bite squad called with this convoluted explanation claiming they would place the order again for free. Long story short...FREE meant she would place our original order and we would pay for it!!!? WHAT!? Like we originally planned two hours prior!? Ridiculous...I called again, the order was still 30 minutes out and they offered $10 off our next order...not even the one they royally screwed up! We cancelled the order and they threw out $75 worth of food TWICE rather than making the situation right! Shame on me for trying them a second time...they will not last long!

Will only use UBER EATS. DELETE APP.. So I tried but squad for the first time the other day while on duty at the fire dept. so I order from a local spot. Took about 50/60 Min to get to me. No big deal was not worried about that. I was just ready to eat. I had been craving it all day. So when the driver gets there he gives me the food. I ask him was this my order (because I noticed another order in his bag). The driver said yes. Then I said are you sure and he said 100%. So I go back in the station to look at it and by the time I see it’s the wrong order the driver was gone. So I call and email the guy back 2 Min later and go through a 3party number I could not get a hold of him. So at this time I can’t eat what was gave to me because of a food allergy. So I had to throw it away. I email but squad and they told me they can only credit my account or remake. If they remade it it would have taken another hour just to get to me. I don’t have that much time in my line of work. So I asked the person I was emailing if they could credit my card. They said no because I don’t have a picture of the food. I had already thrown it away to where I was not going dumpster diving. So by this point I’m so mad I called Uber eats. They came to me within 30 Min with food and it was right. SO MORAL OF THE STORY IS THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BAD AND THIER DRIVERS DONT EVEN CARE ENOUGH TO GIVE GOOD SERVICE. GET UBER EAT.

Bad first impression; never returning. I ordered for an event days ahead. I called the restaurant half an hour prior to the delivery to confirm they were working on the order. I learned they had canceled the entire order due to an item being out of stock and that Bite Squad should have notified me. I placed another order and called the restaurant to confirm they had received it. This is when I received my first call from Bite Squad. Since I was on the phone with the restaurant, I didn’t answer. They left a voicemail stating that the restaurant had canceled my order due to an item being out of stock, something I already knew because I had called of my own volition. On the phone with the restaurant, the employee stated they hadn’t received any order submission from Bite Squad. I canceled the order and ended up driving to the restaurant to order and “deliver” food myself. While waiting for my food, I received an “urgent email” from Bite Squad relaying that my order was stalled. Then I received another phone call from Bite Squad with the same information. I told them I was already getting the food I ordered and to cancel both orders I attempted to make on Bite Squad. My favorite part is that they had the audacity to ask if I wanted my money refunded to my Bite Squad account. Uh, no thanks. I’m not trying to use this service ever again. Thankfully I got food for the event, but it was no thanks to Bite Squad.

Pass, again.. I rarely use third party delivery companies, mostly because of the horrible experience I had with bite squad in the past. But I thought, hey, it’s been well over a year, I’m very sick and I want chicken soup from my favorite place. So I ordered the soup, and chips with queso and salsa. Driver shows up with the chips and the queso. He thought the cheese container was the soup. A 6oz container being a full soup meal? That would be a terribly small amount of soup, don’t you think? But even giving the benefit of the doubt, if that indeed were the soup, what about the queso, the salsa, and the tortillas for my soup? I understand that drivers aren’t supposed to open the bags to check, but how about using a bit of common sense? Or asking someone at the restaurant if the order is complete? I don’t know, there are ways to avoid bungles like this. I can’t believe it’s been a year and a half between both bite squad experiences and they’ve both been equally bad. Maybe bite squad should change up their driver training a bit? Maybe add an I.Q. test to the requirements? I dunno. And the $5 credit is paltry and moot, since I am officially not using the service again. Neither should you.

Horrible customer service. Drivers are great; food is fine. The issue with BiteSquad is their terrible customer service. Do yourself a favor and just get UberEats or DoorDash instead. I recently dealt with a fraudulent order placed using by BiteSquad account and credit card and ended up buying some jerk in another state an $80 lunch. I spent way too much time dealing with their customer service “chat” feature, which was glitchy and basically useless. BiteSquad informed me that per policy, they do not refund these orders and to contact my bank. This was fine, but my bank required a police report. The police required a customer service number so they could get more info from the company. I reached out to BiteSquad again in search of a customer service PHONE NUMBER to provide the police - and there isn’t one. I was informed the police would need to email BiteSquad. What kind of company doesn’t have a valid customer service phone number? The one listed gives recorded options for restaurants and catering, but advises customers with concerns to use the live chat feature or email, which is terrible. Just skip BiteSquad.

Pros AND Cons. 8 times out of 10 when I order bite squad I am really satisfied but when those other 2 times come around they hit hard. First of all it takes an hour and half to get my food so I have to starve myself waiting for my Carls Jr or something and secondly when my food comes it’s either slightly warm or just cold. The menu for certain restaurants won’t allow you to add condiments, fries and no ketchup ? Let’s be real. You guys offer “free delivery” coupons but when I apply it, I get 4$ off? Wow! Now my order is only 40$! A little ridiculous if you ask me, there’s absolutely no reason my total should be 38$ when all I got was a burger and some fries like cmon now. However I am stuck on an Air Force base so I guess sometimes I need to stab my bank account sometimes to enjoy some different food. I wish you guys would offer legit coupons, and at least supply your drivers with heat insulated bags so my food isn’t cold. Once again I can’t leave base due to covid and sometimes I just really want some selections for food so I’ll continue to order, but please make these small changes, they’ll make a big difference.

Bite Squad has the "best service" in its industry, there is no competition.. words can't describe the superb experience i had with my first Bite Squad order. I just finished eating chili's, i didn't even have to leave my house or move a muscle "very convenient". Bite Squad delivery process and app function was exceptionally fluent and coherent. I was able to watch every step of my order status, from when i placed my order until the lovely driver handing me my food. I want to personally thank and congratulate Mr. Kian Salehi and his team for a remarkable finished product. If Bite Squad had a stock i would definitely invest in it right now as their future is looking extremely bright. I truly hope more restaurant locations around the world begin to participate in the Bite Squad service and to be completely honest i don't see Grubhub or Seamless to be of any competition at all. They are very limited and majority of the restaurants they do have access to, are not the mainstream restaurants normal American's love and are a custom to. Which is why i no longer need them "hint"(deleted).

Hope Your Order Arrives Correct.. After a “glitch” during the first 5 minutes of my chat with them which caused me to wait on hold for 20 minutes until i typed a ? and reopened it (I had to argue with Majed and show screenshots that I never left the conversation). I was told the best the could do for my completely horrible order was a $2.50 refund. I order through them all the time from a different restaurant and have had orders late without ever complaining. Which apparently that is something they will refund for. Today it was the wrong item and the food was subpar. Well Majed made sure to give me the most attitude he could while telling me the best that could do was $2.50. I couldn’t believe the amount of attitude I received. He even tried telling me the refund isn’t a customer service issue and that’s a restaurant issue. Well I will gladly use Postmates now. I gave 2 stars only because my sushi order was usually on time and right but this was a really low blow for me. A customer never deserves an attitude.

No utensils really!. So I always love ordering from Bite Squad. I’ve been a loyal patron and fan since it was called Room Service in Paradise, Service is good food quality is consistent, Honestly love this service because it makes it convenient for me, However as of late the company has made a change that is very tough to swallow, I recently ordered Thai food from my favorite restaurant listed. As always the food came to the residence but with no utensils. I asked the mobile waiter if he had any and his reply was that the company no longer provides utensils. Are you serious? So the I order again from the same restaurant but this time I noted the change and requested utensils from the restaurant, but to my dismay no utensils were delivered, ok hmmm I have been a loyal customer for 9 Years since aRoom Service in Paradise,,,, I order take out from a delivery service and I receive no utensils to enjoy or eat my food. wTH.... II wouldn’t mind being charged a surcharge for utensils but this seems ridiculous, How are suppose to eat Thai Curry without a spoon or fork,,,? if this is how business will be conducted then I will just take business else where. I will also utilize and take to my social media of Facebook and my close to 5K friends and voice my concerns and issues,

Slowly going downhill. When I first started using Bite Squad over a year ago, I was very impressed. Lately, however, it continues to go downhill. I love how many options there are to pick from, but the wait times and prices are continuing to rise. My most recent order was submitted at 2:11. At 2:18 it was transmitted to the restaurant. At 2:44 it was still transmitting. Finally at 2:50 it started cooking. Usually once the order is done cooking it will sit at the restaurant for close to twenty minutes before the driver picks it up. Usually my food is lukewarm when it arrives. The prices are continuing to rise too. I used to be able to get a fairly good deal on an order, but now the fees are so extreme that the price almost doubles. I was going to purchase food for $12, but with the fees I would be paying $26. These extreme fees are completely unacceptable for the service that is being provided. I’m not sure what happened in the last year to change the quality of service so greatly, but something really does need to change.

Terrible Customer Service & overall greedy, bad. My exact experience: This place is a scam and they are a very dishonest company. I have been ordering from them for a little bit now. I was trying to see if I liked them better than Chef Shuttle. I even signed up for their 10 dollar a month special. I ordered a dinner from firehouse for my family. They delivered the order and they were missing four items. I called the customer support number and was told that it would be resolved ASAP. An hour went by and my items were never delivered. Frustrated, I called back. I was once again told that my items would be delivered. Reluctantly I got off the phone and waited another hour. After that hour, I called and got no reply. I waited to the next morning to find out that the rep I spoke with marked it as resolved so the woman on the chat with me could do nothing to help me. THEY STOLE MY MONEY. THEY DID NOT HOLD UP THEIR END OF THE BARGAIN. They pretty much told me there was nothing they could do for me and to next time make sure I got my food before the end of the night. I do not know what else I could have done! Do not use this service. They are expensive and they do not deliver. They were also unwilling to rectify my order.

Standards. The app makes it difficult to chat with agents. They can be as late as they want without no real reasonable standard. The customer suffers when they do not double check our orders. The driver sat outside before picking up my food and after. While there has been times when BS has rectify my situation BUT when you are eating a dry salad because there is no dressing or something 🤦🏻‍♀️ this last time (separate situation is too much ) there should be standards and I would rather the driver pick my food up Update: Delivery time has been better but I recently canceled my membership when I was expected to add extra food for example 1x I ordered a $15 dollar order but I was told I needed to order 28$ extra. That is not cool because I order a lot. My other frustration is there seems to always be break down of communication with the restaurant & bitesquad. BS updates the menu sometimes there is good descriptions others there is not. I literally ordered based off of the description online for me to get something that I purposefully made sure did not come with it. Why would I need to specify extra when it’s written so well? The restaurant says it because BS did not properly specify BS says it’s the restaurants fault. I have ordered everyday for a week because I have been sick. I am over it, I should not have to deal with a constant tug of war on basic things. No food tonight I guess

Don’t use. If words could only describe how horrible bite-squad and what they call customer service truly is. They won’t help you solve any problem with your order but however they will be unhelpful and have an attitude with you. If your order is wrong you can forget about a refund or credit to your account so keep that in mind. Just stick to Door Dash. This was my first experience with Bite-squad and after two attempts with customer service to have my issue resolved. I ended up having my account deleted because they basically told me it wasn’t their problem. Idk about other towns but my bite-squad has about 4 options for restaurants. The communication between restaurant and Bite-squad is awful. I waited close to an hour for bite-squad to tell me that the restaurant wouldn’t accepted my order and they couldn’t get ahold of them. So I was credited that amount for the cancelled order. I was forced to use The only other Mexican restaurant on the app because I had to use the credit, no refund. Which charged me $9.25 for a cold small singular quesadilla with no sides. Not what was in the menu and not what I ordered but bite-squad doesn’t give a care about that. After sending customer service pictures of the item I still received no help at. Not even a credit to my account. I was told it was denied by a supervisor. My order total was around $50 for two items that were horrible and that’s money I will never get back thanks to Bite-Squad.

Wait time is very off. Updated review: It would be nice to offer breakfast restaurants. The wait is still off from original estimation time. For example, I put in an order and it says estimation 35mins but it’s always one or more than one hour later. I think that’s unacceptable. Perhaps they should hire more drivers to accommodate the amount of orders coming through so it actually meets the original estimation wait time. That way people can plan accordingly. It’s very inconvenient for customers to plan their day when the wait time is more than 15 kind of the original estimation time. What if someone is having a lunch date at an office and have limited time to eat and food is not there on time? It has happened more than 3 times for me already. Needs major improvement on that. Prior review: I like BiteSquad overall. They got awesome customer service but in Honolulu the service starts late so there’s no breakfast unless the restaurant offers late or all day breakfast. Estimation time is sometimes off but the customer service tries to accommodate for wait that is longer than the estimate time from the beginning. Other than that, everything else is good.

Glutton for punishment. I don’t know why I keep thinking maybe this time it will be better. It never is. In the Little Rock area I’m not sure if they can’t keep drivers or what, but it always takes a ridiculous amount of time to get orders. And I don’t mean large, complicated orders from restaurants far away. I mean simple orders for one from restaurants within 2-3 miles from the hotel or office I’m ordering from. And they automatically add the tip, which I’m not sure how they calculate, but sometimes it’s more than 20%. You can change it, but you have to be looking for it or you’ll miss it. I haven’t had any issues with the drivers, but I wish there was another choice for food delivery in this area. **UPDATE It was only after I looked back at my order history that I realized the delivery time is already documented on each order when it’s placed, so the delivery times in the order history are not correct. I have waited over an hour for food on at least 2-3 occasions (and once just under 2 hours), but that isn’t shown on my order history. Not a very transparent business practice. On a positive note, my last 2 orders have only taken between 40-45 minutes.

Worst customer service - DELETE this app. I’ve used bite squad a few times, with average results. The last time, my order took 25 minutes longer than it was supposed to, and it arrived entirely wrong. I chatted with bite squad online, sent photos of my incorrect order and everything. I was told I could only reorder or receive a $10 credit (WHAT). So I reordered (because it was like a $70 order with fees and tip). Another 45 minutes later, my order came COMPLETELY wrong AGAIN. Bite squad manager over chat said NOTHING could be done about this, and on top of it, she was incredibly rude. Totally unacceptable. DELETE this app if you are in a place where you can get literally any other food delivery service. And seeing stories similar to mine here, man...bite squad should be seriously embarrassed. Terrible company, terrible customer service. 👎 UPDATE: They messed up my order again tonight when I gave them another chance, and were exceptionally rude on the phone. They flat out lied to me about calling me about a delayed order and where the driver was. UNCONSCIONABLE. DELETE THIS APP IMMEDIATELY. They are liars and this company is disgusting. ANY other food delivery service would be a better option. They are literally running 45 min late right now, real time. Shameful.

Terrible customer service, shady practices. Shady. I ordered from them for the first time the other day, and they delivered the wrong order including food I was allergic to. At first they offered me $5 off my next order which is ridiculous because I originally paid $25 only for the wrong order to be delivered. Then the next day they asked for a photo of the incorrect order, which I sent(that I fortunately thought to take before I threw the food out, since they didn’t get back to me until a day later), and they offered to refund part of the order which is also ridiculous because I’m not paying $10 in delivery fees to receive the wrong food. They said that since *something* was delivered, they couldn’t refund the delivery fees (...even if that something is not something I ordered...) After about 10 emails exchanged with their terrible customer service team, I ended up filing a dispute with my credit card and the bank cleared it up immediately. Then BiteSquad said since I filed a disputed charge with my bank, I could no longer order through them (as if I was going to order through them again, hah) but even still that is a shady practice—‘if you don’t like us stealing your money and you actually follow through with getting your money back from us, we will ban you from ever using our app again!’ Bummer, I can’t get the wrong food delivered for $10+ in service fees from BiteSquad anymore😭

Use DOOR DASH. CONSUMERS BEWARE!!! this app took my money but as soon I placed the order, I get a text saying the food will now be an hour late. I needed to cancel because my son would be leaving for work before his meal even arrived. I spent 45 minutes of my day arguing with 3 different customer service idiots who lied telling me the driver was there but restaurant was late and that it was the restaurant refusing to refund. LIE LIE LIE! This is a small town. I called the owner. Lies! They didn’t have a driver available. I called them out, and told the customer service liar who then lied further by saying “oh well that driver left because the food wasn’t ready and now we are sending another one”. I had to get the owner of the restaurant involved who will now not EVER use them again. My son left for work. Cold food was delivered well over an hour late and no refund was given after 45 minutes of tryin to reason with lying fraudulent scammers. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Door dash is honest when they don’t have drivers available. They don’t lie and refuse to cancel an order that they can’t deliver as promised. Use DOOR DASH! Shameless scammers.

Horrible service with no Recourse. My family and I ordered a meal and I had six items on it. When the driver came to me always on time as the hour quoted was met. When the food was delivered it was missing a plate and when I contacted customer service I was immediately disregarded and not contacted back. It took multiple attempts to get someone on the line to help me and after a half hour of attempts I finally got to speak to somebody. With no control they basically offered a refund of the meal that was missing or they would resend the meal. I believe this service should provide checking the orders with the restaurant before they are delivered to the customer. If that had been the case my review would be very different. After we left hungry and waiting we received no refund or compensation for the missing meal. The only thing offered was either a refund or the food and that’s all they could do. Providing a delivery service requires that you check the orders for accuracy before leaving the restaurant. If that had been done I don’t feel like I would have had the issues that I had. We had to wait an additional hour for our’s missing a meal to arrive. No compensation know apologies just this or that take it or leave it. No customer service

Horrible experience. Just had a bad experience with Bite Squad and won’t be using them again. I am under the weather and not driving at the moment. I ordered food from a nearby restaurant. About an hour and a half after that I received a notification that my food had been delivered. No knock on the door, phone call or anything. I live in apartments so I’m wondering where it had been delivered to. Frustrated, I look for a number to call a rep, turns out you can’t speak on the phone with them. I had to chat with someone at this point I’ve been waiting on food for 2 hours. The chat took longer than I would’ve liked. I was told by a rep via chat that the order was completed but not delivered. They issued a refund which was nice but I’m left with no food after waiting so long. I call the restaurant and turns out it was never picked up. This company should work on communication. I order from another popular company and never have issues. I’m provided with the name of the person delivering my food as well as their contact info. Also, I can pick up the phone and speak with a rep at anytime. Please work on this for future customers. I won’t be back.

Great drivers, questionable corporate ethics. Bite Squad bought out a very good local delivery service in my town. The remaining drivers from the old service & the new ones are great. (NOTE: TIP THE DRIVERS IN CASH TO MAKE SURE THEY RECEIVE THEIR TIPS.) Bite Squad corporate has questionable honesty & ethics. They misleadingly state they only charge a small delivery fee based upon distance & don’t mark up restaurant prices. Not true. The “other taxes & fees” & “small delivery fee” are additional charges that go to Bite Squad corporate. Because they’ve negotiated a lower price from restaurants, they do in fact have markup built into the restaurant prices. Bite Squad claims driver tips go 100% to the drivers. That’s questionable based upon online reviews & info from local drivers. Drivers say the dispatchers take a % & that they don’t receive tips above a certain amount. It appears driver tips are being used to cover the drivers’ hourly pay and to also cover Bite Squad corporate costs. That’s just wrong. Customer service often doesn’t reply to questions and, when they do, provide a stock answer blaming the restaurants without checking their app or website for problems. Bite Squad needs to offer real customer service, be honest to customers about their actual delivery charges, & make sure their drivers receive their tips in full.

Love the detailed updates!. I’m lazy about writing reviews, but I’m a huge fan of how detailed the updates are of each step in the process. I tend to worry about whether or not my food has been sitting before it’s picked up, and Bite Squad gets that. They say they don’t even call in the order until a driver is available. Then they give details on what might be taking extra time, such as if the food itself is taking longer than expected, but that the driver is there and waiting. All this transparency gives me peace of mind. So I just wanted to leave this review saying I appreciate that! So far so good in all other areas as well. I also haven’t had ANY driver call me with questions I’ve already answered in my detailed directions. This is a big deal to me and has in the past been a source of frustration with Uber Eats. The pictures are also great. They do something with them to make them look even more appetizing, and I love it. Great work all around, Bite Squad!

I’ve about had enough.. Certain restaurants that they offer are never open because they are told that they are not excepting bite squad orders. Secondly, I ordered a sandwich from Grand Junction today, a chicken Cordon Bleu. Whilst ordering the manual prompt required me to select a seasoning for the sandwich which normally never has seasoning on it. I contacted Bite Squad support and they told me to select a seasoning but then add into the notes then I didn’t want any seasoning. My sandwich arrived with Cajun seasoning on it that was too hard so I threw it in the dumpster. I contacted Bite Squad support again only to be kept in the chat with no response for around 10 minutes. I contacted Bite Squad support yet again and finally they gave me a credit for the sandwich that I order not for the tap that I provided. So I tip the driver five dollars just for driving a sandwich to me that I couldn’t eat anyways because bite squad’s app Didn’t have proper programming so I wouldn’t be forced to select a seasoning for my sandwich. And they refused to refund my tip as well even though it is their fault and they should take the hit for refunding the tip that I provided. I don’t normally go this far to write a review on Anyone, but they really just irked my nerves and made me upset. Hopefully they right the wrong that they did but as of right now they don’t seem like they give a rats ***.

Terrible Service!. I WILL NO LONGER BE USING BITE SQUAD FROM HERE ON OUT! I’ve ordered from this place at least 5 times & 3 out of the 5 times have been terrible! The other 2 times were decent only because they messed up my order in the first place! I ordered my food at 7:45pm, mind you the restaurant is 7mins away (yes we could've drove down & it could be the restaurant that took a while) but if I wanted to drive down there I would’ve done that in the first place. The purpose of bite squad is to have your food delivered to you in a timely manner! So again, I ordered my food at 7:45pm but for some reason they took FOREVER to process my order. Keep in mind the restaurant closes at 9pm so I’m thinking I’ll get my food before that. Nope! I get a call from some bite squad lady & she tells me that the Bite Squad driver didn't get to the restaurant on time so my food couldn’t be delivered!!! This is the 3rd time I’ve had to be refunded & left without good customer service or food! I get they have other orders to fulfill, but if you can’t complete the orders in a timely manner then don’t process them! I AM UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS COMPANY & will never recommend anyone to use bite squad!

WELL, THIS IS A GAME CHANGER!. I love everything about this app & service. I had the best Thai food for lunch today, from an amazing restaurant, delivered to my front door, faster than going to get it myself. Of course, I could have had breakfast from IHOP, sliders from any of the bbq joints, Greek pita gyros, Indian food, cheeseburgers and fries with a chocolate shake, lasagna from one of the 20 different Italian places, or anything I wanted from the 20 different Mexican restaurants, or Chinese restaurants. I can (I do) peruse the menus from whatever place serves the kind of food I feel like eating at Exactly that moment. I am never eating another bite from a chain pizza place again. Ever. I deleted about 10 apps since I have Bite Squad now, like Dominos, Pizza Hut, Jimmy Johns, PaPa Johns, etc.... I AM “GARBAGE FOOD” FREE FINALLY. Faster, better, cheaper, better, nicer, better, easier, better, than any food you are having delivered now. It’s one of those rare things that make you say, “There’s no way to top this. Don’t order from them. I’ve used the app several times in the past and everything seemed to be ok. However, this last and final time did it for me. The order stated that it would take 30 minutes to receive my food. After an hour and 45 minutes my food still wasn’t here. For every minute I waited, an extra two minutes was added to my delivery time at that point. I wasn’t happy, so I called to cancel the order and I was told that it was too late to cancel. I explained that I would not except the order from the driver. The customer service rep said that they would just tell the driver to complete the delivery. They were doing this mind you, without offering me a refund. So, at that point I didn’t ask for one, I demanded it. Eventually, they said they would refund the amount. But, it was the incorrect amount. After more tooth pulling I got the correct amount refunded. I HAVE NEVER HAD A WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE PRIOR TO THIS. This company is beyond shady and they don’t care about their customers at all. Word of advice, just go pick up your own food or use a different service. The app is deleted and I’ll NEVER use it again.

Not happy. I ordered Chinese food from a local restaurant about 4 miles from my house. My order was almost $64. Everything looked normal on the app for about 15 minutes, then I got a notice that there was a problem with my order and that I would have my food in 92 minutes. Frustrated, I chalked it up to Corona virus volume and waited for the food. Finally I got the notice that the driver was on the way...then that my food had arrived. There was no driver and no food. I called the restaurant and asked about the order. They said they didn’t process that order but they would. I asked how long it would take and she told me 30 minutes. I asked for my ordered to be complementary since I had waited so long. She said with an Order of $64 she could NOT comp the order but maybe give a small discount. The money had already been debited from my account. I tried to contact Bite Squad thru the app...sent message..never heard back. I waited for the food. When it finally did come, my husbands entree was missing. I had one entree, three soups, and two salads. I called back and the attendant swore that she put the shrimp fried rice into the order. I will not use that restaurant again, nor will I use Bite Squad.

REALLY FAST!. These folks took over chow cab in my area the app was a bit glitchy during the sign up switch over process eg my address “wasn’t complete” even though it was auto filled and all the fields were correct had to restart the app twice. But after that it was fine. My only other suggestions would be to ask for customers to upload or provide photos of some of the meals offered from each restaurant. Also had an issue with a driver not being able to find my house (certain GPS) give strange directions, they called but from a blocked number and I couldn’t call back and was having a hard time trying to find a contact # but the driver ended up calling 5 min later so it wasn’t an issue but the ability to contact the driver to help is important so they can work on that. As far as service is concerned they are VERY fast (average 30 min) and reliable the drivers have all been very nice. The other service would take an hour or more to deliver and often times were even later than the hour plus the company said it would take. I’m ultimately extremely happy with the change over and hope they stay in our area.

Terrible customer service. Take pictures of your food!. The first time I used this app, it worked perfectly - ordering was easy, our food came quickly, our order was correct, and the food was warm. The second time I used this again, the food was easy to order and came quickly. The food was like warm, but still tolerable. However, my husband ordered a burger and some of the toppings were missing. Not a huge deal but when you pay as much as you do for an order, you want it to be correct. He ended up eating it anyways, and I contacted the support people through the chat feature of the app to see if they could refund part of my order. The person I chatted with was really rude during I the whole conversation. He asked for a picture of the food for “evidence” and when I told him that my husband ate it, he told me that it is policy to have evidence of the order (a policy that I can’t find anywhere of the Bite Squad site, by the way) and told me he would put $5 towards a future order. He also said that he was making an exception for me, acting like he was doing me this huge favor. Sorry - it’s not like I want my order to be incorrect. Even if he would have approached the chat in a more pleasant way, I think I would have been fine with the $5 off toward a future order, but he was so unpleasant that I am just upset about the whole order experience at this point. If you do use this app, I would warn you to take pictures of your food for “evidence.”

A better food experience.. I see a lot of complaints and I think they are probably legitimate but it would be easily fixed with better logistics and maybe more drivers as I have experienced some similar though not as drastic issues and have always been adequately taken care of with discounted orders next go around. Lately I haven’t had any complaints as far as time or any missing items (only happened once). A big recommendation would be for all parties; consumers, restaurants and bite squad: “Stop putting items on the menu/ordering items on menu that will not travel well” it just is aggravating and is why as someone who has worked in the culinary industry for several years I simply avoid. This is a great app but there will always be hiccups and need for improvement. That said this is a great app for when I am just to tired to cook or don’t have time and know it will be a bit before I can eat. It is a hundred thousand times better than chef shuttle (at least from a consumer stand point).

Great service with a few support flaws.. So far we’ve tried a lot of delivery services. Bite Squad seems to excellent choice and have the best delivery drivers of the bunch. The last app update has greatly improved the UI, but after an experience today I would say it has some flaws. I accidentally tapped the place order button today without having my full order in the cart. There wasn’t any confirmation or anything. I quickly tapped the get help button to get it cancelled as quickly as possible. The dialog that comes up allows you to send a message, but there’s no indication where that message will go, or how you’re even going to get a response. I waited a few minutes and ended up going to the website with live chat and trying it. By this time it was too late to cancel according to the chat (DoorDash has offered to contact the restaurant and cancel, so something needs to be improved here). Finally after the chat was over and I was told I was SOL, I get an email to the original message I sent in the app. I was able to get some stuff added to the order but it could have been smoother. There needs an explanation of how the get help button works or live chat in app. Also, follow what I mentioned about DoorDash and offer to contact the restaurant. It was my fault for pushing the button, but it’s not my fault that it was so difficult to contact you, it was too late by the time I did.

Horrible. This company is a bunch of thieves. I ordered from them, and what arrived what the topping of tofu that should have come with my full lunch. I immediately reached out and Andrew G told me I would have the cost of my food credited back. Which should have been about $14 (apparently they keep the $4 tip for the person that incorrectly delivered my food). I was fine with that, a week went by and nothing on my credit card. I contacted them again and chatted online with Kathy N, who told me I needed to contact my bank and then an email at Bite Squad. When I said it was ridiculous that I now had to write and email, she told me she could help me, then accused me of not letting her help me. What?! She gave up on helping when she told me to contact the bank and the email at Bite Squad. I then called the number and spoke with Jose, who also couldn’t help me and told me to write an email. I then asked for a supervisor, Cynthia the supervisor finally looked to see that Andrew G never made it clear that the credit he was giving back to me was in a Bite Squad account not my credit card. She finally gave me most of my money back and kept the tip for the driver. I will never use this company again. Horrible Cynthia

Consistently Terrible Customer Service. Love the concept of lights go on and love their selection. Unfortunately I consistently had issues with my orders. There is any issue with your order, you were forced to use email or the app to contact customer service. This can often take five or more minutes to explain your situation via text. Whatever you were asking for, they will tell you they cannot abide because the order is in progress. They will tell you they need permission from the restaurant and cannot get in touch with them. This is a gimmick! It is happened to me several times. Simply calling the restaurant reveals what I’m being told to be a lie. I haven’t had a single situation where calling the restaurant directly doesn’t solve it, despite the pushback from bite squad. I have sent an customer service email several times with feedback and requests. Never received a single response. There is no phone number to call, there is no one to turn to. Order at your own risk. Update, 8/4/21- after writing the support team three times over 3 weeks I finally received a response. The responder obviously did not read my email fully, did not respond to my accusations or requests, and basically sent me back a canned response. The situation remains unresolved.

Horrible communication.. I am floored with how awful my experience just was with BiteSquad. There is no “help” option. There is a button to start a live chat but it doesn’t actually doesn’t work. Long story short, I ordered something at around 7:45 pm. It was expected to be delivered at 9:08 pm, which is super late anyway. I thought, why not, I have time. Time kept ticking away and finally at 8:50 I receive a call stating this place is out of what I wanted so I gave them another option. I check the hours of this business and they close at 9:00 pm. The app still saying it’s confirming with the restaurant, I try to reach out and get no where because the help button does NOTHING. I ended up calling the place and they told me they were closed and didn’t even have the second option I had asked for. I got another call from BiteSquad. They were calling to inform me they didn’t have the second option. At this point I told them to cancel the order and started inquiring about the severe lack of communication. I did not receive an answer, as the caller was unable to help me at all. Seriously going to reconsider ever ordering from BiteSquad again. There are plenty of other options. GrubHub, UberEats, Door Dash, etc. Really disappointed BiteSquad. You have been a delivery company for years now...fix your help desk.

ZERO STARS! Worst company EVER!!!!. I have problems after problems with this company. To wrong orders to having my food thrown in the car. I had a restaurant owner call me personally and told me the delivery guy just threw my food in the back seat and when it was delivered it was all mushed together! Bite squad offered me 5 dollars umm what is 5 dollars going to cover? the tip? Y’all resent the order and I didn’t even want it. I wanted my money back! 5 dollars doesn’t do anything to an order it’s like 15 dollars just for the taxes, tips, booking, and service. I though this place would be great since I have a new born and I don’t want to cook nor go anywhere but I rather pack up my house and bring my child to a restaurant than deal with this company again. The customer service is awful it’s like they think giving you 5 dollars credit is going to make everything better. I never review anything but i have to let others know how awful this place is!!! They seriously never get my orders right and it takes forever to get here and I live 5 to 10 minutes away from most places and it takes over an hour and thirty minutes to get to my house. My hot food is always luke warm and my cold food is warm. Don’t blame the restaurants blame the company!

Over 2 hours and 30 minutes. I had the app downloaded for a while and decided I wanted something from a local spot in town. I placed my order for me and my girl, the total ended up more than I was expecting but no big deal. The estimated wait time was about 50 minutes but low and behold, my order wasn’t even put in for over an hour. I just kept watching as my estimated delivery one kept getting further and further away. After my order was finally finished, it took yet another 30 minutes just to get here. It shouldn’t have taken longer than 15 minutes from my place and there. It gets better, I get the text notification telling me my driver is near by, I step outside just to see if they were. As the driver drove up I just watched as they carelessly drove into my driveway speeding through the speed bumps, it takes her 5 minutes just to figure out where I was. I have to wave her over to me and had her bring the food to my door. When I got my food, everything had already gone cold, I had to warm up my food in the microwave just for it to taste bland. I have never had such a bad delivery service before. I will never use this service ever again and strongly suggest anyone and everyone to stay away from this service. Their customer service is crap, the drivers are reckless and the overall experience was horrid. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

I’ll never use them again. Lifestyle time I used them, the restaurant severely undercooked the fries for my 3 year old sons lunch. I called the restaurant, the apologized and offered to remake them but asked that I contact Bitesquad for the complaint as they would be the ones who redeliver. I was asked to submit a photo of my order, then they ended the chat and put me to the bottom of the que again. After waiting and being batted around to different dispatchers, I finally got someone to review the issue. They stated that they would not do a redelivery for fries... I can understand that for say, me, an adult, but for a toddler, those fries are his treat for eating the good stuff. They are a big deal to him. I had to formally complain about the entire order which included a pizza. The restaurant had to remake the entire order. Money out of their pocket, so that my sons fries would be replaced. I called the restaurant and told them to just send the fries... they still ended up remaking the entire order, because bitesquad didn’t find it important enough to facilitate the order to the customers satisfaction. They were willing to hurt the restaurant because they didn’t want to pay their drivers to fix the problem they shared by agreeing to be a food delivery service. This in turn, affected my son who just wanted some fries after eating his lunch.

good service for certain foods. I was quoted a long delivery time so I was expecting a wait. What I wasn't expecting was a long wait from the time the food was ready. It took 45 min from the time the app said my food was ready to be picked up to delivery. Since you can track the drivers, it was clear that he must have delivered someone elses food first, but it wasn't in the same direction as me; this other order was not on the way. Since there could be a long delay, I will limit my orders to foods that will last awhile: salads and soups. I dont think I will even trust burgers and fries because those will get soggy after sitting for 45 min. The soup that I had ordered was still hot and yummy. The pizza was good, the pasta was not (all from same restaurant). On a high note, the driver was friendly and courteous. And the delivery fee is small for a service that delivers more than pizza when I have no time to get it myself.

BAD BUSINESS!!!. Ordered through bitesquad, and about the time my order was supposed to be arriving, the estimated delivery time shot up by an hour. The app said “food is being prepared”. Ok, so I call the restaurant and they told me the order was ready and waiting to be picked up... Couldn’t get anyone in support at bitesquad, so I went & picked up the food myself. During which time the order delivery time shot up by another 30 minutes. Still said food is being prepared. Had I waited on bitesquad I would have been eating cold food nearly 2 hours late. The order on the restaurant’s end was perfect. However, when I was able to get through to support and told them what had happened, they didn’t really seem to care. Some nonsense along the lines of “thanks for letting us know how you feel, I’ll pas it along to management”. What? Then, when I specifically asked for a refund ONLY of tip and bitesquad related fees (I wanted the restaurant to be paid, as this was obviously a bitesquad issue, not the restaurant’s) bitesquad refunded the entire amount. This means the restaurant, which did its job perfectly, got blamed for the issue and ripped off by bitesquad, at a time when restaurants are having a hard enough time. Shame on you bitesquad, I hope your business fails and I will NEVER use your service again. Furthermore, I will make sure that no one I know ever uses you service again either. BAD BUSINESS!!!

Terrible Customer Service. We had an awful experience last summer with Bite Squad during which we waited 3 hours for food that was supposed to take less than an hour and had multiple conversations with incompetent, helpless customer support, and, in the end, our food never arrived and yet we were still charged (ultimately we were able to get that charge reversed, but even that took some effort). Despite that (and shame on me for thinking it would be any better a year later), we just tried Bite Squad again today. After waiting nearly an hour, at right around the original delivery time, Bite Squad informed us that our order was cancelled, without any further explanation. We attempted to reach out to customer service via chat, but it took 5 minutes for us to even connect with anyone. Once we did, we were told that the restaurant was short staffed and not taking orders today. I get that that happens - especially these days - but what I find is completely unacceptable is that Bite Squad waited until the original time our food was supposed to be delivered to either find out that the restaurant wasn’t preparing Bite Squad orders and/or let us know that. Enough is enough. I have deleted this terrible app.

Poorly Managed. Update: So far, I hadn’t had any issues with the food I’ve ordered being incorrect- until today. I ordered food (two items) both are served with specific sauces (I received neither of those sauces), I also requested no cheese and the order came with cheese- I could not eat it as it was cheddar jack on fries and it was impossible to pick off and eat. So on top of my earlier grievances we add to the list their employees not taking the time to check orders properly. Thank you so much for wasting my time and money. I will no be using BiteSquad again. Previous Review: Multiple times I have ordered food and BiteSquad has not taken the proper measures to ensure that the restaurant was even open so I’ve waited 30min for them to send the order to the restaurant (which is never received) and then call me about the food so I’m waiting, if I get my food, two hours, or more, to get it. Sometimes, they take so long to tell me my food is not going to be here, that everything else is closed and now I’m not eating. A $5 coupon, frankly, isn’t enough for an inconvenience that has happened multiple times. It covers the delivery fee and that’s about it. Unfortunately, this is the only food delivery service in my location so I will have to continue to use it, but I hope they get their act together because it could be amazing, if I could get me food consistently.

They won’t give you any way to delete your credit card information, your account, or even just cancel the membership. You won’t be able to reach ANY customer service either; you’ll just be on hold for 5 hours and receiving automatic emails saying your support request will be looked. I used this app ONCE to order a pizza, and they signed me up for a membership, and I’m still trying to fight my way out of it. Do not use.

easy and fast. I have used Bite Squad several times and they have always delivered when other services couldnt help me. They deliver to hotels and were setup to use a Canadian Credit card where other services weren't. Ordering is also easier on this app. Just download and compare with another service and you will see how easy it is. The best part, I could order just a milkshake and get it quickly! Love these guys!

No happy. They change the delivery time 4 times and I order the food, and got the delivery after1 and half hour...

Too expensive. It was still nearly $5 more then DoorDash and that was AFTER their promo code! Will be deleting right away. I never made it to my first order after comparing prices

Not good!. Took a long time for a driver to be assigned. One of the items we ordered was missing. The food was cold on arrival. The delivery man was friendly but that’s about the only positive from this experience. Would not use again!

Poor Security and Customer Service. Yesterday evening my BiteSquad account somehow got hacked and someone was able to purchase $75 worth of food in Minneapolis when I live in FL and haven’t left in months lol. Customer service was useless and they cannot prevent it from happening again. This has never happened to me before on any other food ordering platform and I thought BiteSquad was one of the more reputable companies but I guess not! Luckily my bank can help me with the fraudulent charge but I will no longer ever be purchasing again with BiteSquad. Deleted all my payment information and my account, will never be ordering through this app again. *** This is just regarding the hacking of my account. Their app is also horrible and doesn’t allow good communication between drivers and customers, and always add unnecessary charges. Customer service is also very ineffectual.

3 deliveries in a row that weren’t delivered.. You’re customer is great. To an extent lol. Some ended before something was solved but I get it. But anywho. We ordered from a restaurant last Sunday and it said it was picked up and after 20 min of no delivery I chatted and they hadn’t picked up the order. I ordered again cause I didn’t want cold food and the restaurant refused for obvious reasons. Then just ordered tonight and she was wondering around the complex for 15 min and I texted twice and tried calling. Nothing. Contact support and she finally calls. I had dyslexia and said the wrong number in the text but my directions were correct and after another 40 min of no delivery and 3 different chats and still no delivery and going to the restaurant myself and ordering my food I finally got a refund. Three in a row of no delivery. Like dang people.

Wherever we go Bitesquad is there!!. We travel around Florida quite often since we have 4 daughters living in different cities of Florida. We love to eat in because my 2nd daughter, who always travels with us, has a 4 month old baby boy and a 3 year old son, both have a hard time sitting still at restaurants. Why make stress for ourselves and the kids by trying to keep the boys quiet when we can eat a good meal at home. Not only has Bitesquad made our dinners a lot healthier, compared to fast food, but also we’ve found that Bitesquad delivers in several areas. Now we’re able to enjoy wonderful meals from fabulous restaurants that we’d normally miss out on, from all over the state of Florida. I can’t recommend Bitesquad enough, we absolutely love it!!! Thank you Bitesquad!!!!

Pretty Good. I’ve used this app a few times, and it hasn’t disappointed me yet. There was one time I was not able to get food from my desired restaurant since the place was closed (the app had listed that the place was open). Despite that, I was promptly contacted and the transaction did not go through. Opted for a different place afterwards and that went smoothly! A little buggy. As of November 29, 2017... it’s not optimized for the iPhone X. A bit hard to search and navigate properly since the horizontal navigation bar is too close to the top notch. Add in that responsive design please! **There’s also some weirdness going on with the subtotal/tax/fees fields moving outside the display range whenever the estimated delivery time is updated. **Correction: It was the Coupon/ Account Credit Used/ Credit Card fields. The block slowly crawls to the bottom until it disappears outside the display range.

Former Uber Eats Customer. I was a happy Uber Eats customer for many years, but on three of my last four orders only a portion of the total order was delivered. When I tried to call Uber, a recording told me that my phone number didn’t match their records and hung up. I called the restaurant and was told that my only recourse was through Uber whom I couldn’t contact. I had no way to recover the missing food or my money. Uber lost my business. I have used Bite Squad now for my last several orders, and have ALWAYS received the complete and correct orders. Drivers are friendly and on time! I am very happy with Bite Squad and will continue to use them. I am also pleased with the wide selection of restaurants to order from. Very happy new customer.

Worst customer service ever!. I’ve never bothered taking the time to write a review because why waste my time.... but this company is ridiculous! Mistakes happen, people mess up, and sometimes things just go wrong! I know this because I am a business owner... I also know that whenever something goes wrong you make it right! This “company” does anything but! I have had numerous mistakes, delayed deliveries (over an hour & 20 minutes once after the driver left the restaurant that was .07 miles away!), missing items, and completely wrong items... and Bite Squads resolution is to offer a $5 credit! The people who use this so called “service” are willing to spend $5 for delivery, $5+ for tip, and whatever the taxes and “fees” comes to that you conveniently sneak in all for the convenience of delivery! We have money and you can’t just throw $5 at us and expect it all to be okay! Tonight was the last straw as I ordered three meals, none of them correct, all of them missing items, and yet instead of just refunding me my money for the missing items they wanted to just give me a credit for a service I will most likely never use again! They do not care if your order is correct and it’s their “policy” to just keep your money instead of refunding it and offering you a small credit so you’ll have to use their sad excuse for a service! DO NOT USE THIS APP! Go with Uber Eats, Grubhub, Door Dash, or even some generic Jim Bob’s Food on Wheels before letting these people rip you off!

Disappointed but not surprised. I think I’m finally completely done with BS. The food prices are more expensive than uber eats and it takes twice as long. My last few orders have taken over an hour to get to me :\ (one of these orders had a frozen drink). It really seems like “eh just get it when you get there. We don’t care about our customers. We only care about their money and if they give it to us.” Not only that but it’s non stop notifications and emails desperately trying to get me to sign up for their “BS unlimited” which I had a while ago. Let me tell you, that thing is definitely “BS (meaning bullsh*t)” because my meals weren’t any cheaper. I was still paying over $25 for a meal (when I order around $15 worth of food). At least I stopped getting non stop notifications for that period of time lol Hopefully uber eats will soon have more restaurants so I never have to use their service again.

Life saver. Generally excellent. Very smooth experience. I’ve ordered from them many many times and nearly every time the service is excellent and reasonably quick. They keep adding more restaurants and their new free delivery option is a good deal if you order from them frequently. ($8/month). The app is well designed And intuitive. I just wish they included the restaurants address on the app. It’s nice to be able to see where the driver is in relation to your house on a map. The drivers seem to be getting friendlier also. For a while they were including utensils even when I expressly asked them not to but after I contacted them to complain that has not been a problem anymore.

Delivery rate and customer service problems. When the food gets to the house things are usually okay. Food is relatively warm and not squished. The people who deliver the food have a pretty good success rate in bringing the correct food, unlike Postmates. When the food doesn’t get there a few things happen. First, you don’t get a warning, so unless you wonder where your food is... you might just find out a few hours later that you don’t have any food in your doorstep. Second, trying to contact support from the app is useless- can’t call/text driver and can’t get support because the app is useless for this. The trick here is to go to the website on your computer and do the chat there which is relatively quick. They will usually refund you. For example, I was left wondering what happened to the food I ordered, I went online to ask them, they told me the driver was on his way. However, the driver had been in the same spot for 30 mins. When I told them to actually check they told me the driver had a flat tire and no one else could do the delivery. Sure... Order at ur own risk, take into account the above so you won’t be completely disappointed when it happens

Becoming dishonest. We have been using Bite Squad for a couple of years. Typically, customer service has been helpful when they mess up the order. We changed to the unlimited delivery service which we pay for monthly. Additionally, they charge fees. Additionally, you pay a service tip which goes to the driver and employees. They recently made it so that you can only take 15%. This tip is split with the driver. They do have a way you can just tip the driver. I recently noticed that they charge nearly 2 dollars more for each dish on the Bite Squad as well. This is not transparent when you order. So, in total with fees, paying for the service, tipping, and the additional money you spend on each meal comes out to be nearly $20. I’ve never heard of a service charging this much for delivery. It is hidden too. Unless I looked at the actual website for the food, I wouldn’t of known that they were charging two dollars more per meal. This is very dishonest. I might consider ordering less in the future.

Continuously disappointed. It helped to read the driver’s review just now. I don’t quite understand where the mix up takes place. This year while I battled cancer we received many gift cards to bite squad. Not once did we receive a meal where it was a complete order or made at the correct time. It was really frustrating. Time after time we were told that the drivers couldn’t go back to the restaurant to complete our order. Tonight we finally decided to give this another try only to be disappointed once again for an incomplete order. If we were to order directly from the restaurant we never had these issues. I understand if it’s policy that the drivers can’t check the meals due to sanitary reasons, but there should be joint company trainings on how to make this service more efficient for everyone. A meal delivery service should take pride in the service it actually provides and get it right every time. I won’t be using this service anymore.

Uber Eats much better. I hate to give a bad review but before you guys waste time I want to give it to you straight. I decided to try Bite squad because we received a coupon for one free order. I went through the process of making an order, very simple and easy. Turns out my order of only around $4 for one drink turned out to be $12 even with the free order coupon. I checked it out and there are extra fees - service fee (which apparently is not given to the driver but the company), taxes and fees (which includes more fees that’s not just sales tax....) and more. All this was pretty hidden and seems quite dishonest. Uber Eats would be cheaper WITHOUT a free order coupon. Overall this app is pretty great on its own. Easy to use, simple, fast. I’ve used Uber Eats several times and I’m honestly just comparing it to that. I decided to give it two stars because it’s a great idea and service , just not compared to Uber Eats because of its covert and hidden features.

Subscription is a scam you cannot cancel without bank intervention. When BiteSquad raised their premium subscription to $9.99 per month, I canceled it because the value was no longer apparent for my needs. I regrettably found out a month later I was still being charged a subscription at the new and increased rate. It was “impossible” for BiteSquad to cancel my subscription because they claim to have no record of this charge, despite me providing evidence and my credit card statement. You cannot order food for exactly $9.99. Their answer to my simple request for a refund? “Contact your financial institution.” I wholeheartedly recommend no one ever use this service. I had drivers deliver me spilled food, cold food, food that was tampered with and food that I had to refund because of how long it took to arrive. This is a service that exists as a leech on the back of hard working restaurants and should be removed from the App Store altogether for its ridiculous and potentially scam subscription.

Driver let my food sit at restaurant for 30 min before pickup. Never used bite squad before and had to work a 10 hour shift alone so thought I’d give them a shot. After you place your order they have you wait until they’ve found a driver committed to the delivery (no big deal even though I waited quite a few minutes). They give you an estimate of when the restaurant says the food will be ready. Mine said 12:17 PM. From 12:17-12:30 it said the restaurant was “verifying” and double checking my order(?) Then it said my driver *left* at 12:35 to pick the order up, so he didn’t get here until 12:55. My food was freezing and soggy AND missing a part of the order 😂 there’s no way the restaurant was “double checking” and what was the point of making me wait for a driver so my food could be “hot and fresh” if they let it sit at the restaurant for over 30 minutes. Never using this service again.

Bad Experience with App Won’t Use Bite Squad Again. Placed order with bite squad but decided to cancel when the restaurant could not meet our delivery time. It was difficult to figure out how to cancel. Once we did I went back to check open orders and found 2 more of the same order. I canceled 2nd one and when I went to cancel 3rd it froze up. We got out of app and restarted phone but app was gone. Went back to bite squad website and signed back in. 3rd order was still there and would not let me cancel it. We called restaurant and they didn’t have order but said even if they did they couldn’t cancel it. Finally the 3rd ordered cancelled. I’m still not sure how our order was placed 3 different times. We will never use bite squad again because of the difficulty we had with there app. If you do use them. Make sure you check upcoming orders and confirm your order was only placed once.

Where do I begin..... Update 11/7 As a business owner and father of 6, we have used Bite Squad frequently. Often in excess of $1000 a month. I am here to tell you that in Cape Coral, FL, they are now worse than hot garbage. They will be losing my business in total. My current order is currently over an hour and a half late, yet have received 3 phone calls regarding the driver being at the restaurant. Interestingly, I have since called in my own to-go order and I am receiving my takeout in 25 minutes, round trip. So how they can’t get it done in 2 1/2 hours is remarkable. My original 3* review posted 2 days prior: Bitesquad is on point 70% of the time. The drivers are courteous. But the hurdles necessary to contact them are so aggravating, we usually just give up. Their version of “live” chat usually takes longer to initiate than the order delivery. Additionally, they are horrible about cancelling orders. We had 2 different orders cancelled tonight, in fact. The first one, they made us aware of rapidly. The second one, not so much. I found out about it when I went to check our order tracking 2 minutes before the expected delivery. This is not the first time. And honestly, we’ll most likely continue using their service since the other delivery apps are even worse in our area. Just be prepared to cook if you place an order.

If something goes wrong awful customer service. So as long as everything goes correctly it’s nice to be able to order food from anywhere and pay in advance, but if something goes wrong and you need help to correct or fix something you pretty much screwed. If you call the day yo go on the app and it hangs up on you. When you go to the help on the app I have 4 times the que is so long you could drive to a restaurant, order food, eat it, pay your bill before someone helps you. I’ve paid for food I never received, Ive got food delivered to the wrong address, I had one order for just a sandwich like 1/4 away from work take almost 3 hours to get delivered. That said I use the app a lot and besides the 4 times it usually works out well. I just wish you could call and speak to someone to resolve an issue and not wait in a hour que starving in the mean time.

First Impressions. The app was daily intuitive and easy to use. There were several restaurants available within the delivery area of the motel .The one I chose to order from did not include all the items. (Fajitas with no tortillas ). So basically I did not have a meal and the restaurant would not pay the $2.99 fee to have them delivered. Instead I was told I could come get them. After a couple of messages to Bitesquad, I received a call from them saying the restaurant was sorry and the Bitesquad rep stated he knew it was difficult to eat fajitas without tortillas and would give me a $5 credit to be used on my next Bitesquad order. So I ended up paying $13 plus taxes plus delivery fee plus tip for a meal I really didn’t receive. Not happy with their perception of customer service.

Unpredictable and don’t sign up for unlimited without a computer. I placed an order yesterday while at work. I suddenly got 5 or 6 calls in a row shortly after from a number I did not recognize while with a customer and could not answer. Apparently that’s what the company does when they have to cancel your order. No messages. I had no clue who it was until that evening when I was able to check my email. No lunch delivered. So I go back and try to cancel my unlimited subscription service. There is nothing about it anywhere on the app. I have no access to a computer and had I known that I would have never signed up. Turns out that’s the only way to cancel. Now I’m very unhappy and the customer service person did not offer to cancel it for me. Only told me to use a computer. I cannot reply back to them as there’s no reply back button. This company is a mess. I greatly regret getting involved.

WORST SERVICE EVER. First order: arrived at the wrong house. Decided to chat with customer service who didn’t bother to call the driver (who had just left the order who knows where). After waiting for over an hour customer service only offered a credit. Second and final order: Waited two hours and my order never arrived. Chatted with Robert the agent who claimed to have called the restaurant and they were preparing it. Guess what? Restaurant was closed! After waiting 2 hours and 17 mnts Robert said “your order should be there shortly”, while tracking the order on the app they didn’t even prepare it or start it. Decided to chat with someone else. Then they finally realize restaurant was not answering the phone and offered a credit. This would have been my second credit because my other orders were delivered to the wrong house. Waste of time. Don’t use this app. You are better off driving urself to get the food. Will take u less time.

Hold the restaurants accountable. So I had a huge issue with my order. I think it was more so the restaurants fault. They claimed hey were super busy, the driver said he had been waiting for thirty minutes. I called the restaurant and I think they had forgotten about my food. As soon as I hung up the food was on its way to me. I believe the food had just been sitting there and my call reminded them. When I got the food it was cold and I was scared to eat the raw sushi because who knows how long it had been sitting. I shouldn’t have had to go through all that. I feel like bite squad should’ve been following up with the restaurant on my order, monitoring how long it was taking. Or the drivers should’ve been more aggressive in getting my food out the door. Luckily the chat function is great and I was able to be refunded.

Worst experience ever. I would start by saying use Uber eats or a different food delivery service. The staff is unhelpful and if you have an error and don’t catch it with in the first few minutes hey will say there is nothing they can do for you. They have forgotten things in my orders 3 times and would not refund me or only gave me “credit On the bitesquad app”. I have never had worse customer service that would not assist me and kept saying the same thing over and over. I am not just saying this because of a one time thing but every time I have gone back to use this app I have regretted it and something from my order is wrong. I would highly highly suggest using another food delivery service. Grub hub, Uber eats, food dash, i have tried all of those and never once had an error or missing food.

Delivery fail!! 0 stars!. My 2nd attempt at delivery service. First one was a success. This 2nd one I ordered at 5:30pm. It is 6:45 and my status is still at Stage 1 and the delivery time keeps getting pushed back. So when you get an estimated delivery time of an hour and a half, which is a long time I might add, it’s no guarantee. Trying to find a contact number to check the status, and there’s none (on the app, online or even in YELP). So you send them a message through the app for them to call you, and nothing. More than an hour later, and there is no way to cancel or talk to a person to follow up. They have my order BTW and my credit card info, and either I wait for an indeterminate amount of time for dinner or go eat somewhere else. I’m checking my status again as I finish this comment, and my order no longer exists. Cancelled I’m assuming at this point, but didn’t bother to call! I’m deleting this app and no longer using this service. This was 10/31, and I put in my order @ 5:30pm.

Okay, but often a pain. I like Bite Squad, and when it works, it’s good. However, I have had multiple orders canceled immediately ordering (usually without being notified by anything other than an email, which I am not monitoring 24/7) because the restaurant I ordered from was actually closed. I also seem to be able to add items to my cart for restaurants that are closed, so when I go to finish my order, it says that the items aren’t available. It would be great if I was told when restaurants were closed, or when they stopped receiving orders. Because then I could actually get food when I was hungry, instead of waiting for food that isn’t coming or having to find something else after my family finally decides on a restaurant and then too the time to choose what we wanted from there, only to find out it’s closed. Frustrating!!!

Best delivery service. Bite Squad is truly the best way to go when you want anything delivered to your home. So my family of 6 ordered Chinese food one night and we had a pretty big order. Everyone also knows that the food is cooked when ordered. We have been there before in person and the staff is tremendous and make sure you are comfortable. We received our order in maybe 30 minutes. That's approximately 30 minutes from placing order to arrival. I was shocked!!! Other times, we would wait an hour or an hour and 15 mins, no. 30 minutes. And another thing that was amazing was not only was the food steamy hot and super delicious, but this place was across town!! Use Bite Squad, you won't regret it!!

Trash company, trash service. I’ve used this trash a few times for on base deliveries. 6/10 times the results are good. Food arrived as promised. 4/10 times the food is hours late. Like 2-3hours sometimes. When you use the chat function to contact customer service it’s up to a 30-45min wait time and a queue of over 75 people in front of you. When you get down to about 50 it puts you back at the end of the queue and sends you an email for support. So that’s that. The few times i have gotten through to support I had a rep tell me to fix it myself because they don’t make the food. I’m currently waiting for a rep as I type. My food is currently an hour late and no response from bite squad. Took my money and ran with it. It’s also ungodly expensive... $8 fee to deliver plus taxes and “fees” which result in another $5-10 in fees. Don’t make the same mistake I did, if you’re going to throw your money away donate it to the poor.

Save yourself. Save yourself the time and use the other deliver apps. Food came 40 minutes late, was very cold, and missing an item. They would not refund us for the order as it was “delivered”. Had i known it was cold I would not have accepted it but that is not an option as the customer. They can only offer a credit for future use. Well I don’t want to use this app when the other apps have much better customer service. I should not have to pay for cold food that is 40 mins late. This is between bite squad and the restaurant and I should not be the one that has to suffer from it. Unreal. Just recieved a response that said you would like to resolve the issue and to head to Live Chat so you guys can look into it. Well, I did live chat with three different people and they all told me the same thing and that the credit was all they could do because I received my food, therefore could not be refunded for it.

Non-existent Customer Service. Restaurants that will not fulfill the order correctly is the first problem. The bigger problem comes into play when you try to contact Bite squad about being charged $25 for items you never received, they do not reply. Crickets...🦗 Grubhub has an awesome customer service. Any issues I’ve had through them were handled immediately. Unfortunately, they make mistakes as well, but they try to make it up to their client. Not ignore them. Our driver stated that he verified the order was correct at the store before leaving with it. If he has access to what I see as my order on Bite Squad, then he could clearly see 1 item missing from the guest check the restaurant handed him. Furthermore, there was still one missing item from what was written on the guest check! I know the drivers cannot open your food to verify it’s all in there. They just have to take the servers words for it. Unfortunately, Bite Squad not having a sense of urgency when dealing with customer complaints allows the emotions to boil a bit longer. They could have put this to bed in a matter of minutes, but they have chosen to ignore their client. I’m taking my guest check by the same restaurant today to have them add up the total. I will make a point to not order food delivery from them again, they are the ones that allow food delivery services to get their product out. Why would you set that delivery driver up for failure?

Horrible drivers and customer service. Honestly, the customer service alone is atrocious. I have been waiting almost four hours (I’m still waiting) for my order. The “agents” I have spoken with honestly, probably don’t even know their job. Somehow, I’m unable to get in touch with the driver because my order “isn’t in delivery status”... again, it has been for almost four hours and has had two different drivers. The “agents” are telling me there is absolutely nothing that they can do... even though they can see every detail of my order including exactly who the driver is. I’ve had some bad experiences with delivery services, but this by far, takes the cake. I’m uninstalling the app as soon as I get my order. Update: my order was marked as delivered and I was given a refund because of “mix up” on their end. No other explanation than it was a “mix up” got I hate this app and would advise everyone to stay as far away from it as possible.

Good Experience. This was our first time using Bitesquad. The ordering process was fairly simple. The food was delivered faster than the estimated time, and came nice and hot. The young lady who delivered our food was nice and friendly. She also wore a shirt that identified her as a Bitesquad employee. I really appreciated that because we knew exactly for whom she worked. I have two problems with Bitesquad. 1. They need to add more restaurants to the list. 2. I would like to have a choice of payment instead of the cost being charged to a credit card. I don’t like using my credit card for this type of service. I would prefer a choice between credit card and cash. When there are several people ordering from the same restaurant, it’s just easier to pay with cash as opposed to one person’s personal credit card. Thanks for asking!

Terrible customer service. I’ve used BiteSquad a few times, so I should have known better. None of my expirences have been great. My order was expected to arrive at 5:39. pm. Fine. At 5:32, I get a notification that my food has been picked up, and five seconds later that it was delivered. It quickly became clear that the driver stole my food. I tried contacting support on the terrible chat system through both the app, my laptop and the browser on my phone. Every time I waited for 30 minutes or longer before the chat was disconnected, I never got to talk to an actual person before the chat was closed out. I ended up having to file fraud with my bank. So just a warning people- they will refuse to help you in anyway they can. I have had previous issues where my order has been completely wrong and they give me credit towards a future order. They will not refund you.

Almost all of my deliveries have failed recently.. Most of my orders used to go perfectly well, but lately, items selected on the menus get sent through as different items on the restaurant’s receiving side. Customer service takes far too long to get a hold of. Drivers’ locations are often very inaccurate. Sometimes the app shows them still at the restaurant when they’re nearly at your door. Drivers can’t be contacted if they come too close to the address. So if there’s any confusion about the instructions, or I’m not able to reach the door, I’m no longer able to contact them because the order is effectively registered as completed according to the app if they come anywhere near your address. I’ve been a subscriber for over a year now, and I’m now convinced that UberEats is the better service. I only used to subscribe to Bitesquad because they had more drivers in my area, but that’s no longer the case. Uber Eats is faster, cheaper, and far more reliable.

Bite Squad- making it easy. I have used the app to order twice but I’m very pleased. While some establishments don’t offer the full menu of items, I really like the variety of choices in my area as well as the posted delivery fee. In addition, I like how everything is through the app- the tip, payment, any special instructions. I literally just get my food from the driver and not have to worry about exchanging money. Also, I see who is delivering my food and being able to track my order is awesome. I know when my food is picked up by the driver and can view their car in the app as they make their way to my home. Very impressed so far and will use bite squad again.

Lyn B. I love bite squad even if I live in town it takes the stress out of getting ready , gearing up with my mask, getting out of my car to stand in line 6 feet apart and wait to pick up my food. I use to think only rich people can afford bite squad but out of pure necessity when we were quarantined I went online with Bite Squad and it costs almost the same as picking it up if I count the gas I spend. Bite Squad is not a luxury service. It’s a wonderfully necessary service to enjoy and make your life stress free to prioritize other important things in your life. I didn’t mention the various merchants to order from cater to your every craving. Last night I had Vietnamese and tonight American 😋 I love Bite Squad!

Poor service. Bite squad works well when it works well, but if there is a glitch don’t expect any help at all. I have used and loved bite squad until today. Put in a large order, but noticed the app was acting glitchy when I ordered. It would change the amounts of items in my cart, which is why I double checked it before clicking place order. When my order got here I was missing 3 items (3 orders of the same item) and when I contacted customer service they informed me that those items were not part of my order. When I informed them of the issue I had while placing my order they said sorry. When I requested them to try and make it right like letting my pay for a new order of those items and them waiving the delivery fee, they refused. All the while they would randomly change the person I was chatting with and I would have to explain all over again. Seriously sad about their business ethics.

Bitesquad has now limited menu items. I initially loved Bitesquad (admittedly using it almost daily) until they decided to raise the price of unlimited delivery or delivery in general while reducing the items I could order from restaurants. I have contacted various restaurants management who have all informed me this menu limitation is coming directly from Bitesquad. The these managements have even referred me to use different delivery apps because all menu items are available through the other delivery apps. Bitesquad not only are you making these restaurants lose money and customers but you are losing customers and money too by limiting what someone can order. Reaching out to Bitesquad about this issue I get told it’s the restaurants or due to Covid 19. Bitesquad you need to stop blaming the Covid 19 pandemic because this was happening long before that, as well as when that excuse doesn’t work you claim the restaurants are placing the limitations but if that’s so then why would they direct you to another delivery app where the full menu is offered?

Driver toughed out the Snow for my food!. I’m not from up north so I panic when I have to drive in a snow storm. So, I ordered food from bitesquad. My driver called me and was having trouble locating my location. I heard him talking to someone else about being stuck in the snow and not able to drive. The person told the driver to get some cardboard to help get out of the snow. I have a ton of cardboard and showed up downstairs from my condo Building to help him. He thanked me for the cardboard but continuously told me to enjoy my food and he was okay, even though his car was completely sideways and no way of getting out. My friend and some strangers helped him out even though he was persistent that I go enjoy my food. Great service!!

Worst experience worst customer service. I just ordered pasta from assagio- regular seafood pasta with tomato sauce! Food arrived it was spaghetti - seafood but no sauce! Now that plate alone is $25! Who wants to eat that plate with no sauce? So I contact bite squad customer service and he basically just told me they will credit back $5 not on my credit card only on note squad account so I can use it for my next order? Are you guys kidding me? No call to the restaurant, no more credit? Then the guy I was talking to J.M. Told me that he won’t credit the $5 to my account since “I don’t want that” and that I can talk to corporate! So this is your guys customer service??? Worst experience ever! I will never order with you guys again and I will make sure that all my coworkers, friends and family won’t either! DoorDash handles stuff like that with much more better attitude and they also refund more money back to the credit card! Worst ever!!! Never again - this app will be deleted

Terrible customer service. I never write reviews, but I’m extremely annoyed. I ordered some food from bitesquad, the restaurant ended up not being opening so, they cancelled my order and refunded me my money, but I informed them that I did not have anymore money on my account, so I wasn’t going to be able to order any food, so all they did was credited me $5 which would only cover a tip. They didn’t even attempt to give me at least $15 or $20, because it was their fault not mine that they didn’t list the restaurant as closed. Then they lied and said they are only able to give $5 and nothing else, when one time they gave me $10 because they lied about why my order wasn’t picked up from a restaurant. They honestly give bad customer service. I’m always ordering food for my coworkers and I but those days are over. It’s annoying that any time there is an issue they lies and they are rude. It’s outsourced outside the country and they don’t give customer service that one is used to in the US.

Given this service several tries to make it better. I’m so disappointed in this delivery service. I have the option of 3 delivery companies and in the beginning I preferred this one. But now I have constant issues with the app. It won’t load correctly and when I ask for help I get a spinning circle. The last straw was when I tried to cancel my dinner through the app because it was sitting in queue for 30 ( YES 30) minutes and never got sent to restaurant. When I went to cancel the order it reordered it again and through several attempts at restarting the app and hard shutting it down, I saw on my bank account I was charged twice on the same day for the same restaurant for food I didn’t even get. I tried contacting for help through app to no avail. If I can’t recover my money I was charged for I may have to bring it up even higher in the chain, so beware. I have had nothing but issues recently between this and missing food and drivers going the wrong way bc their GPS “isn’t working.”

Great for college students. Bite Squad is great if you’re a college student and don’t have a ton of time or the means to go grocery shopping and cook for yourself every day. I order Bite Squad probably once or twice a day and am always satisfied. The drivers are always very nice and, on the rare occasion that a mistake is made with your order, Bite Squad customer service always gets back to you in 10 minutes and moffers you account credit to make up for the mistake. The only thing I don’t completely love about Bite Squad is that, no matter where you order from, you can expect to pay another $8- $10 to have your food delivered through the service. The delivery and other fees add up quickly but it’s really a small price to pay to not die of starvation.

Cancelled my order without telling me. I ordered some food like normal. I thought it was unusually that it kept said it was trying to contact the store to place/check my order. Next thing I knew my order was cancelled without any notification. Okay fine I decided to try a different deliver service. Then probably about 30 minutes to an hour later I got an email saying that a delivery person had been at my delivery point and had the food with them in the car. I went to the app to check and it had been cancelled because they didn’t get in contact with the store. They tired to make it seem like I wasn’t where I had ordered it or it was my fault and they tried to contact me (they didn’t). I have had problems with bitesquad in the past but this was the final straw. It’s never been on time and plus my roommate has had trouble with bitesquad in the past where they messed up her order and wouldn't do anything about it. I am going to discontinue my app and delete it. It’s just taking up memory and space on my phone.

After about a 30 min wait, my order was cancelled. I placed my first order with BiteSquad today. I was really excited as I had seen the good reviews. Unfortunately, my order was cancelled 30 minutes after it was placed because the restaurant was too busy to fill my order. Though Bite Squad did refund my money and give me a $5 credit for my next order, I feel that some sort of system should be in place so that orders can be confirmed available before such a lengthy wait. At that point it was getting late and many restaurants we nearing closing times so we decided not to chance another order in fear that the same would happen again. There may still be a few kinks to be worked out. That said, BiteSquad did respond fairly quickly to my question about the cancellation. I am giving them 2 stars because I feel like their customer service might be pretty decent though their communication with the restaurant was lacking.

An incredible driver. With everyone on edge due to the current pandemic, this driver went above and beyond for me, a person she doesn’t even know. This is why I’m incredibly thankful for people in the food and beverage industry, which I’m also a part of. She noticed the address wasn’t completely accurate, as zero lights in the house were on. She felt something was off. However, instead of leaving it there ‘cuz that’s what the app said,’ (and in my ‘craziness’ asked to just leave it on the doorstep) She then called me and we talked through a couple of turns so that she ensured the delivery was made. Thankful for her, for her awareness and politeness. She was just the nicest person ever. I wish I knew more about her because I’d love to do something for her as sweetly as she did for me! The only thing I can do now is #PayItForward

Placed our last order today 😡. We got a gift certificate of a sizable amount and that was the only reason I gave this app/company as many chances as I did. We placed only pick up orders because we had heard how uncertain delivery times were via reviews. We had several canceled orders we didn’t find out about until we went to pick up. The in app tracker showed nothing. We got only one untimely email (but who checks their email when the app shows everything is on track??). One restaurant we showed up at just said they weren’t working with bite squad anymore... so no order received and it wasn’t updated in the app. This last order (and the last of our gift cert funds) we called the restaurant to confirm (as we were making sure not to get screwed again). The restaurant had no clue how they even received orders from bite squad... I would not go through this hassle with my own money.

Worst Delivery App. If I could give zero stars I would. I usually don’t use bite squad because it’s always way more costly than the other apps, but they gave me a $5 credit and there was free delivery on a place I wanted. Estimated time a half an hour so I assumed it would be a quick process. A half hour of the food “preparing” came and went with no delivery driver in sight. 15 minutes past the estimated delivery time, a driver finally was on route to the restaurant. New delivery time was an hour past the estimated time, and if bite squad knew they wouldn’t have any drivers, why estimate an early time they couldn’t commit to? I don’t want to give the driver or the restaurant a bad rating because it’s clearly not their fault. Bite squad needs to take a deeper look at how they advertise timing and availability. During this entire process, I had messaged the help center but they never even got back to me. I know I’m just one customer, but they’ve definitely lost me for good.

Simple updates = major improvements. App features aside, I’ve utilizes BiteSquad weekly for over 4 years (personally and professionally versus catering) and would use it consistently versus their competitors with a few minor fixes and improved support. First and foremost, to say the “support” is lacking is an understatement. Either remove the feature or fix it. The “support” has abruptly ended (aka “Manuel has ended the live chat”) when they couldn’t answer basic questions (ex: my order was cancelled and no confirmation was sent and it’s been two hours). Either a botched AI engine supporting or lackluster employees on that side of the business. Secondly, it would be a huge improvement if “badges” (including promos) were integrated into the app versus on random emails (it’s 2/20 and last was received 3 months ago). Loyalty programs are the key to retention of consistent customers, and this loyal customer is now utilizing alternate options due to a few basic issues that are frustrating enough to jump ship.

Horrid customer service. Ive order nearly over a 100 times from BiteSquad and the customer service today was awful enough for me to switch to another delivery service. What is the point of having a “get help” button labeled “poor food quality” or “incorrect order “ when you go to use them and the response each and every time is it isn’t their problem essentially and to contact the restaurant. Well, as I even stated in the chats, I will contact them but I need it to be redelivered; and that I’d even pay the delivery fees again and tip, just not pay the restaurant. I was told they couldn’t do that. Is it not your job to deliver? Well today you definitely did not deliver BiteSquad! And if you won’t, there are other delivery services who will. Update: When talking to the store it is on BiteSquad to refund the order and the store not charge them later. So horrible and lazy business practice.

I Feel Robbed.... I have been using this service for quite some time now, but it’s becoming grossly mismanaged. Inaccurate order times from being pushed back due to unforeseen circumstances is pretty inconvenient considering this is purely a convenience service, however it is understandable. However when the order finally arrives and food items are missing because the driver either failed to follow the queue prompts to CHECK THE ORDER BEFORE DEPARTING THE RESTAURANT or THE DRIVER STOLE MY FOOD and you attempt to contact customer service via email, through the app, through the website and you cannot contact them OR you make contact with a customer service representative who offers you $10 off your next service when you probably won’t use them again. The customer service representative offered to resend the entire order free of charge which was a generous offer I had accepted. However the additional two hours I waited the driver arrived with only the original missing item and received no information o. The entire order being resubmitted. Grossly dissatisfied.

Avoid at all costs. I have used Bite Squad for years. In this time, I’ve had numerous bad experiences related to their delivering the wrong food, incomplete orders, etc. I’ve noticed over the last year that their service and customer service have become exponentially worse. They have flat out refused to work with me on correcting orders where 1/3 of my family’s meal was missing. In one instance they gave me a credit I didn’t ask for, then told me the food could not be redelivered because I was given a refund, when all I asked for from the outset of my conversation with customer service was to have my food redelivered. In this case, I was informed that I could place another order using the credit. However, doing so would require me to pay an additional $10 in taxes and fees to have my items reordered and delivered. I asked multiple customer service representatives and their supervisor to simply add the $10 to my account to cover the fees and they refused. They were actually quite condescending and I heard them laughing in the background. My company has used them in the past for large orders, usually on a bi-weekly basis. We have offices in over 20 states, but we will not be using Bite Squad for these orders moving forward. Fundamentally, Bite Squad saved $10 to lose thousands in revenue. This is the type of business practice that should not be rewarded by return customers. My company and I will now be using Uber Eats.
