Behind the times. This app is behind the times. It still does not upload source data to Health Kit and if it does, it is very sporadic and unreliable. This app cannot have every possibility but it can have: - Fasting -Hypo feeling -Hyper feeling -Nauseous -Fatigued -stressed -angry - nervous -traveling - is Eating out -Shopping - in pain. Right now, the app is too limited. Never mind this app is still using strips when much if the modern world is moving to no stick glucose monitoring, but at least offer some whistles and bells to make logs more full and effective. Can it offer a tentative A1C? Can’t it preload your prescribed insulin amounts instead of having to type them in each and every time? And, would it hurt to offer alcohol wipes, gauze and maybe a sharps bucket? If we have to stick ourselves, at least help us with all the supplies we need to do so. This reader is clunky and the bottles of strips are inappropriately big. This seems like a system Barney, Andy, Otis and Aunt Bea are using in Mayberry‼️ (The one star is because the program is free)

Need to Control Food Time-Stamp. I like being able to automatically track BG. However, I would also enjoy the food tracking if I was able to control the entry for the time of a particular meal. Instead, the app enters a non-editable time-stamp at the time of entry. Often I am unable to enter the time of the meal at the time it’s consumed. This history is significant and would be helpful but since it can’t accurately correspond to the actual time, the food tracker becomes meaningless.

Really good - one minor adjustment needed. I’ve been using this app for about a year now and I really appreciate how easy it is to track my sugar numbers. A few times I’ve had very high numbers and I’ve gotten an immediate text asking if I was ok or needed help. That is really great for someone living alone like me. One improvement though is the Livongo scale readings do not automatically feed into Apple Health. That needs to be changed. If the Livongo app can feed my sugar numbers over to Apple Health, why won’t my weight? Please make that adjustment soon. Thank you! EV

So Many Missing Features. The app works fine, does not crash, but it does so little. Meal logging does not offer calorie or (more importantly) carb counting. It does not talk to Apple Health, so any other health apps I use do not benefit from shared information (and vice versa). No communication with Health means even though I wear Apple Watch, Livongo knows nothing of my calories burned, daily activity, etc. It’s just kind of... useless to me. I’m not sure how this is determined, but as a T1 diabetic, I was offered Livongo for weight loss, not Livongo for diabetes, so all this app does is track my weight (which again, cannot be shared with Apple Health or any other connected apps). So... why does this app exist?

Great at sync glucose & steps, needs BP sync to health app. The app is great at sharing my data to iOS health app for my glucose meter, but fails to have any interaction with the blood pressure in the health app. I’m not sure why only half of the two part program that I’m in syncs. While the other half (BP) does not. Looking at Apple’s community forums site, it says that it is on the developer. Hopefully Livongo is working on this? Many thanks either way.

Lacks the a pretty Critical Feature. The app is fine with one massive exemption- no HealthKit integration. This isn’t a hard thing to do either, considering other apps I’ve used to track BG had HealthKit integration day one (and those are years old at this point). It would also be nice if you could update health info like weight in the app instead of being forced to log in to the website. That’s just a small want and not a criticism need like HealthKit integration though.

Not great.... Every since the big app update I can’t order strips from my phone anymore, when I press order more strips it verifies my address, and then a screen pops up that just says “ok”, but it never actually puts the order thru. I have to go on the meter and press order strips to actually get them sent to me. I also really don’t care for the way the new app is set up. Some things are ok, but it’s doesn’t work well for me, and is very glitchy. I have an iPhone 8 so it’s not like I have an older model that could be causing problems...

Great support. I appreciate the real time assistance. When my blood sugars are out of the boundaries set by my doctor; I immediately get a text from a coach, first to see how I am feeling and offering any assistance I might need and advice how to proceed. I have used meters since they came onto the market. This is the first system that gives real time help. In over 50 years as a diabetic this is the first time I have experienced such help. It took me time to figure out how to add my food to the log. The only thing it lacks is a place to check that I have taken all my medications with the name and dosage. Reordering supplies is very simple - you just click reorder and it is down. Thank you for this innovation.

Printed report misses...get annoyed by tips. I appreciate that I can walk into my doctors office with a print out of my tracking, though he complains that the trending charts always come out black and are useless to him. He would like all the charts visible in the app to be available to him. As it is he’s taking notes from my phone. I also find the little tips sort of annoying. Condescending? I don't know exactly but I roll my eyes when the app tells me that if I watch a funny movie I’ll “feel better”.

Good hit improvements could be made. This app is a decent app for tracking your sugars and food, however improvements could be made. I love the fact that it is connected to my meter. I am a numbers driven analytical person so not having to manually log this is nice. However, where significant improvements could be made is you cannot delete any readings, not can you make any changes one a reading is completed. Most of my readings I mark “I feel fine” so this is pretty automatic but there have been times when I meant to select something else but was on “automatic” and saved the record. This cannot be corrected. Or, after the save and upon reflection a different category was a better selection. Again, this cannot be changed. In addition, there is no logging history of weight or A1C changes. These two items are critical to understanding overall management. In addition, there doesn’t seem to be any integration for medication tracking. I am not insulin dependent so I’m not sure if the interface changes if one is but I’m guessing it doesn’t. This would be helpful to not only track sugar to medication but medication needs over the course of the month. It is nice that the meter tracks how many strips you have left and you can order straight from the meter or the app. Overall, I use the meter more than the app but the app is nice and convenient but simple improvements would go a VERY long way to helping to provide that overall picture.

This app will make a difference in my health. Like many reviewers, I was not taking my blood sugar seriously enough. I got this device through a workplace benefit. Being able to take readings that sync immediately with Apple Health and the Livongo app has made me more aware about what, and how I eat. If I didn’t have this meter, I’m sure I would have gone on ignoring my sugar levels and gotten sicker. Now I have control. I’ve also discovered how much exercise can help regulate my glucose level. I’ve learned a lot. I use a different app to track my food as it provides more details . This app’s food tracker seems to be more a visual reminder of what you ate than one providing nutritional data. As long as I continue doing my part with tracking my levels and eating/exercising accordingly I am confident I will avoid serious issues down the road. I also love how easy it is to order supplies.

Good app. Definitely needs lots of improvements valued be nice if there is some way we can track carbs and to be able to scan what we eat without having to use another app. I would slso love to be able to add notes to my blood pressure reading section like we are able to add note in our blood sugar readings. Overall a good app.

Doesn’t sync with apple health. While I received the meter free from my health insurance, the corresponding app is garbage. It says it will sync with apple health, but it really doesn’t. I take my blood glucose level at least 4 times a day. It is now December and the last time the app synced was September! If I go through the “settings “ to allow the connection, everything is configured correctly; both with this app and with apple health. Even this app has a hard time syncing with the meter; it will go weeks with out a sync.

Suggested Upgrade. The app is fantastic and makes it easy to track understand my numbers. I have a suggestion for an upgrade, though: when we take a reading, in addition to marking the time of day (before breakfast, after exercise, etc) and how we’re feeling, could you add an option for which finger we tested? I don’t normally remember and I’d like to avoid scarring my fingers. Thank you!

Great help for a busy guy. I am a busy guy and having a disease like diabetes can be a full time job on its own. Livongo helps keep up with a testing schedule and keeps track of my numbers. They contact you when your numbers are high or low to check on you and give suggestions on how to fix the issue. They are always giving diet and exercise tips. Thanks for making this a little easier.

Better Apple Health Integration Please. While I understand Livongo wants to be your "health hub," it would be very useful to be able to share more than steps, which Apple Health records just fine already. It is useful to have my Livongo infoerged with info that they do not record, but Apple Health does. If they can export steps, you know they could do it, but will they? Happy with the function and info display for my connected blood pressure monitor and scale, I just find it inconvenient to have different health metrics siloed in different apps. Please consider your customers - easy access to information is critical to better health as well...

Very helpful!. When my husband goes to cardiac rehab they record his blood glucose, they take his word for what the level is, this app makes it easy for him to remember the correct level. What we also like a that I too have the app on my iPad and iPhone and can keep track even when I’m at work, or he’s traveling for work. The diet and recipe tips are helpful as well.

Not helpful for T1DM. Full disclosure, I signed up for Livongo for the free test materials, but my insurance finally stopped being ridiculous and agreed to pay for the Contour Next strips, which made the Livongo gear unnecessary. That said. The app never lived up to my expectations and neither did the weird touchscreen meter. There are a lot of good ideas going on here, with features that allow you, for example, to log how you’re feeling when you enter a blood sugar. But overall, the whole thing seems very strongly geared toward type 2 diabetics, with the system being strongly focused on using lifestyle changes to improve health and no way to enter data about insulin dosages. My primary struggle is in trying to understand how to adjust my insulin, so this hasn’t been at all helpful for me personally.

????? What’s this effective for?. I have a bad impression so far and it’s been about a month. I can track my heart rate using standard health app in my iPhone. I can track other things such as my weight without this app. I can list my food in this app but that is it. I have no idea what my calorie intake is or anything else. But I can read a whole lot about how my food affect me. Well, I can read about that anyways what I’d really like to do is be able to track what food I eat. So what does this provide that isn’t readily available anywhere and a whole lot better? I’m kind of disappointed. My employer has teamed up with Livongo for a fitness and health effort. I am not looking forward to whatever happens there. But I did get a free scale and a free blood pressure sleeve out of it. I am sure my company didn’t get those free ( obviously ). I sure hope the usefulness of this comes to light in the next several months. When I started using other apps for any given purpose, within a month, I knew whether it was going to be any good. This one I don’t see if it’s going to be any good. I am amazed at all the high ratings .

The Future of Diabetes Management. This is the future of diabetes management. The skillful use of technology is the key in this program to keeping one’s self healthy and aware through comprehensive procedures and immediate feedback that is unrivaled. The press of a button availability of coaching and health tips is also a huge step in the direction of what is to come with making diabetic lifestyles more agreeable. RECOMMENDED!

Needs to be more user friendly.. Needs to be more user friendly by making logs easy to download and share. At the doctors office, finally found where to share the logs, sent that to the doctor to find out they couldn’t use the link. Make a pdf version available for download through app. Need access to download full logs for a specific set is time lengths, 2 wks, 4 wks, 3 mo. Etc. Add voice log capability to the phone app as well. Why should the watch app get all the fun. Type 1 needs some cool stuff too.

Livongo Meter and Lancet Device. The Livongo meter is great, but not enough options to describe timing of reading. I take a fasting blood glucose read, there’s no descriptor to choose for that, or for a bedtime read. I’d also like to describe the type of exercise I’ve done: bike ride, gym, treadmill, hike... I don’t like the lancet device at all. The exposed point when installing the lancet every time, along with the clumsiness of it...no thanks. I prefer my old ACCU-CHEK Fast-Clicks. No exposed points and it’s a barrel, so you only change the barrel every 7th read.

It’s OK but app is very basic and glitchy with Apple Health & their Cloud. I signed up for Livongo primarily to have my daily FBS linked automatically to Apple Health, which tracks literally dozens of other health data for me. Over the past 3 months, this feature has worked twice, for only a few days each time. Livongo Support read from the their script but if you've already followed the Apple/Livongo online troubleshooting advice this doesn’t help at all. It seems that Livongo stops exporting after every Apple update, so this has been a chronic headache. Worse yet, when you delete and reinstall the app as instructed, you can then no longer sign in without changing your password or enrolling in Livongo again. These needless hassles signifies a poorly written/supported app. The app itself works fine but only with the meter. Mine fails to upload data for days at a time but a prompt reassures you that the data is saved on the meter locally. When the meter eventually connects, all “missing” data does show up in the Livongo cloud. I find the repetitious canned “coaching” popups annoying but this may motivate some folks. Bottom line: if your employer is paying for this, it’s probably worth a try - even if the external features don’t work consistently.

Love!. I’m so thankful for Livongo! My new meter is amazing! I love how it goes on my phone and how it gives me little positive tips. I also love how it sends my blood sugar readings to my family members that always ask how my bs are, so I don’t have to discuss it with them every day - when it gets a little low or a little higher my Mother will text and question if that number is okay - or you better eat something - ordering supplies has never been easier too! Everything about it is great! Being able to have this new meter and plan has helped me with my diabetes immensely! Thank you so much! I love it!

Love the constant monitoring. I, like many, occasionally make the odd poor choice when eating. Prior to Livongo, I would easily rationalize my carb intake and suffer in silence. Now, I take my BG and if it’s high, someone reaches out for support. It has made me feel that someone besides me cares about my numbers. It’s like having a life coach all to myself, dedicated to me and all my concerns. Thank You everyone at Livongo!!

Easy to use and fast connection. I’ve used three or four different meters. This is my favorite. The other brands were good, but they just showed your sugar levels and if they were high or in range. This meter reads and gives results fast. I charge it every three weeks or so and the supplies are automatically sent to me which is helpful. The app itself has so much in it to help keep you on track which is great. I love the weekly challenges. It’s like a healthy game lol No issues so far. I’ve been using it for about three months every other day.

Connection to Apple Health in clunky. The app seems to work fine but you’ll need to figure how get it to sync with Apple care. For me, I open the Livongo app after each draw. Then I have to go to the manage connections section in the app then shut down the app. Then reopen the app and go back to the manage connections section. That’s when I’ll see the sync time stamp was updated. I can then open the Apple Health app and see the data there. It’s a bit clunky and hopefully will be corrected on future updates.

Changed my life. I wasn’t consistent in my health and didn’t take the time or effort to get things in order. The Livongo program completely changed that. At first I was encouraged with simple steps that I just did because I didn’t have to think about it. Then I was increasingly encouraged to get more and more healthy (weight and mental state for me). I saw the positive impacts and that caused me to want to continue, and I found I had motivation I’ve never had before. It is such a positive cycle. Communicating with a real coach is SO HELPFUL. It’s not just a FAQ or machine bot, I was able to actually speak with a human who cared about how I was doing. I had no idea anything like this was out there. I only wish I had experienced it sooner. I wish everyone had access to this...I have it through my private health insurance. It changed my life.

Love it. Have hated being diabetic, all the logs, strips, changing meds, metformin, less more, insurance issues with this or that, it’s like a never ending battle and most meters are crap, expensive, strips are RIDICULOUS, 1/4 they don’t work, it’s a sham, and at $1/ strip nobody is takin their blood sugar as often as they’re suppose to. But this device makes it so much better, self guided, no need to keep a log book. Doesn’t require huge sample, strips come with it. I’m seriously impressed and love it. Now, I just wish I could remember where I put it.

Wildly inconsistent BP and Scale readings, wonky network, no support. The scale will vary by up to 8 lbs in different readings within a few minutes. The bo meter is almost as bad. They only send a standard sized cuff and even though they imply that they can help with larger cuffs, customer service responds that they can't. Today, both the scale and the BP unit are stuck in the uploading progress indicator after multiple readings and it appears that they will just sit there until the batteries are drained. No integration with Apple health so you have to manually update entries. So it's all pretty lame.

Very good but could be even better 👍. The Livongo programs are excellent programs for Diabetes management, weight management, and hypertension management. I am on all 3 programs and they work very well for me. The Livongo hardware (glucometer, scale, and blood pressure monitor) synchronize with the app very well over Wi-Fi . The app functions well and displays current and historical readings from all devices, you can order supplies (strips and lancets), schedule coaching, get reminders, etc. the app can pull “steps data” from Apple health and post glucose readings to Apple health. WISH LIST: please add posting weight and blood pressure data to Apple health from the Livongo app or the devices .. it’s a pain to update those to Apple health manually when an integration could do that seamlessly (as it already does with the blood glucose readings exported to Apple health and the steps data imported from Apple health).

Kind of useless. I got this app to accompany the free Livongo scale I received through my insurance. I’ve been weighing myself side by side with my home scale and the livongo scale is never consistent, and regularly multiple pounds above my home scale. I can step on the livongo scale 3 times in a row and get three different weights. I certainly hope all you who got a free BG meter or BP cuff from livongo are seeing better accuracy, otherwise yikes. And for me all the app does right now is take my weight directly from the crappy scale. No connection with health kit, no manual input options. Just a weekly challenge that don’t always even apply to me anyway.

Love Livongo. Since starting with livongo my sugars have been so much better. The tips they send are so helpful. I was a soda drinker and could not drink water feeling like I was drowning every time. I knew I needed to get off and when I started with livongo there were challenges and who wants to fail a challenge. Was it the foods I was eating or being encouraged to drink more water I was switched. I hardly touch soda and if I do it way be 2 gulps and I find it too sweet. Livongo gave me a new start. Thank you!

Does Not Connect to Meter. I got an email today saying that there was an app available. The email seemed to indicate that the data from the meter would be synced to the phone. This is not the case. The meter uploads the data and the phone downloads it. Which is absolutely useless. The only reason I even wanted an app was to be able to regularly upload the data from home (the meter does have service in our location). Unless and until the meter is capable of sending the data to my phone app via Bluetooth or whatever, this app is and will continue to be absolute garbage.

Only using because it’s free. So happy that it is finally synced to Apple Health. Would like to see my last reading on the home screen. Would also be helpful to see averages for last 7, 14, 30 and 90 days. I enjoyed they Contour app much better. Would like to be able to enter a1c history with a graph showing a1c against blood sugar averages. The meter times out too fast after being inserted and I’m finding the strips to need a large drop of blood. The meter is bulky, which would be fine if it did everything other meters do. I would have ditched this if it wasn’t free.

User-friendly app makes logging easy. The simple, intuitive design makes the app easy to navigate and use. I like that my blood glucose and blood pressure readings are automatically uploaded. It helps to be able to store this information in one location, and I can see my readings aggregated over time. The Health Summary Report is a helpful additional feature that can be shared with my physician.

Taken being diabetic more seriously. I have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetic about 2 years ago. It was hard to accept and I didn’t take it seriously. I’m not taking my medication as well and not regularly checking my BG. Livongo was introduced to me and I found it much easier to check my blood sugar and track results. I no longer feel the routine to be a bothersome task. It helped me be more accountable to be mindful of what I eat and how much I eat. A coach is available if I need it. A coach checks up on me if my blood sugar get too low or too high. I am becoming more aware of things that gets my blood sugar too high. I like the 5 day challenges. Challenges are in small steps and very doable. I also love the fact that I have unlimited supplies of BG strips. Overall - I would say that if you are someone new to being diabetic, it is very hard to take it very seriously and accept the fact that there’s no reversal to being diabetic. You either start managing it or it will get worst. Somehow Livongo provided the Accountability I needed.

Livongo. I was diagnosed with type 2 a year ago. I learned to control my diabetes through exercise and diet, but still check my sugar at least a few times a week normally. I do not need medication but checking my sugar is important- and this machine makes it nice to do. It’s easy, compact if I travel and I love the app that helps keep track of everything so I do not need need to keep a written log! Thank you so much for making this easier❤️

Nice app but how do you automatically update Apple Health?. I’ve only been using this app for a little while, but it appears that I have to manually force every sync with the Apple Health app. If I do nothing, it never syncs. I have connected it to Apple Health solely for writing glucose measurements to Apple Health. To get it to sync I have to visit “Manage Connection” and press “Export Blood Sugar Data”, which already has a check mark next to it because it’s already set up, but it won’t export until I do that ritual.

If you travel internationally, forget it. I set it up a few weeks ago in Dallas. Everything seemed to work fine. I was surprised that it never required pairing up with my phone. Typically it is a BT connection. But this one has cellular connectivity. I traveled to India recently and the whole thing became same old offline BP monitors where you keep your own logs. It does not connect via cellular networks here (of course no data roaming LOL). It does not talk directly to my phone to save the readings. Food logging is down coz of no connectivity to their food database. There is no option to set it up as BT device. If there is some advice please let me know.

Some frustrations with this app. It takes a long time for the food log to find foods if it finds them at all. Most of the time it’s “oops. Something went wrong”. Also I have trouble getting blood glucose to show until many days later and sometimes they never appear. It would be nice if it was organized in a way where you could record record food and on same page bg so you could see in one place how the food affected the bg.

Livongo helped me retake control of my health. I’ve had Type 2 diabetes for 12 years. When I got my Livongo meter and installed the app I started to test frequently. I relearned how certain foods and quantities affected my readings. Then I started to exercise. I saw my numbers drop ( and my weight too). My health care provider has now had me discontinue two medications as my health has improved.

App cannot handle more than one device. I originally had a Livongo scale which works well... I then got a Livongo BP monitor and after spending 30 minutes with tech support and asking REPEATEDLY if the app would handle more than one device per account, was told finally that it would not. I have to have a separate account (and e-mail address) for each device/account... Therefore, I get twice as many frivolous e-mails from Livongo and their “partners”... Also, I have to log in/out daily to use each device... More of a pain than a benefit....

Almost okay. The app gets the readings from my meters, that part works perfectly well. It even can send glucose readings to the health app. It also will receive step count data from the health app. My biggest complaint is that it doesn’t share blood pressure data with the health app. With as well as the rest of the app functions, I really feel that this one thing warrants a 2-3 star deduction because it is such a glaring omission. How do you put out an app in which half of the functions work well with other apps and the other half not at all? Fix the bp interconnectivity and your app will warrant 4 stars. Interconnect the meal tracking and calorie intake and burned information and it would be a solid 5 stars.

No complete integration with appleHealth. I have to download this app to use the scale. The appOnly syncsThe steps. The app also does not integrate or transfer data between Apple health or any other app for that matter. The scale that comes with the app only works with the app. The app does not transfer any nutrition. So there will always be a additional entries done by you to for example Apple health. It appears the app it’s a little bit antiquated but trying to look modern andAnd userFriendly. However, it would be more user-friendly if it would integrate into Apple health completely including nutrition, weight, steps,

Take Control of your Diabetes. I am very grateful to Livango for offering me the chance to control my Diabetes 2 . My story is like many I suspect .I am 70 this year and have since my 40’s had trouble with weight . I found a foolish way to suppress my appetite by smoking . In Aug 2017 a dear 60 year old friend was diagnosed with lung cancer, she passed 6 months later. It scared me enough I quit “cold turkey”. Over the next six months my weight climbed and by Dec 2018 had climbed 34 lb . I had tried to diet for 2 weeks. Lose 8 lb , go off diet and regain 10 .My FBS ave increased 20 pts and my Hba1c rose to 6.9. Enter Livago, I was provided the means to check my BS 3x Day. , not 3x a week as previous. I was able to get the support to see results and since beginning the Program have seen my FBS drop 15 pts, , BP drop 10 pts Systolic & Diastolic and my weight drop 33 lb since 15 Jan on the Ketogenic Diet.. The Battle is no where near over but the Journey has begun with the Help of Team Livago .. Thank you!

Customer Service is Brutal. I have used the app for 3 months & lost 15 pounds. The daily weigh-ins & food logging seem to be the most effective for weight loss. Both these things one could easily do without the app. My major complaint is the blood pressure monitor they sent me would never properly transmit data so I could track it in the app. I made repeated requests to Customer Service to exchange my defective unit for a working unit, but that wasn’t a transaction they were ever able to complete, and this inability made me question the effectiveness of their entire program. Seems like properly tracking, and maybe even lowering, blood pressure should be a primary goal here, but they’ve shown it’s not. Also, the ability to copy & paste inside the food log would have been nice.

The worst customer support ever if you run into major issues. My device died for no reason and while the app and the device are good while it worked, the customer support is possibly the most incompetent I have worked with. They first sent a charger inspite of informing them that the charger works and the device won’t switch on. Then on hold twice for 30 minutes each and then being abruptly cut. I keep getting moved from one team to another and nobody seems to have a clue what to do. Emails escalations don’t work. Just terrible !

Log-in problems. I deleted the app before and decided to use it again. So I tried logging in with my credentials that I actually saved on my phone after reinstalling the app — not working. So I decided to reset my password and the link successfully made me reset my password. I tried logging in again and the same error popped-in. So I reset my password again using a careful no extra space copy and paste method, successful reset, and the same error after logging in. I don’t know what else to do because obviously, I am using the correct email and password but always comes up with the same error about checking my email address or password. :( I guess I will have to delete the app again:(

I love this program. I love everything about this app except for the fact that it doesn’t synch with my Dexcom 7. It says they’re connected, but it doesn’t have any readings since my last finger stick back in September. Other than that, it’s great.

They listen to their customers. I must correct my previous review, they are listening to their customers and improving the application. The latest update allows you to set glucose measurements export to Apple Health, thanks a lot! Hope weight and blood pressure export is coming.

Amazing helpful app. This is an amazing tool for someone with type 2 diabetes. The daily goals are great. It measures my daily steps and I can log how I am feeling when I do my blood tests. It is perfectly synced with the meter. And it lets me do a food diary as well. I am very grateful for this tool.

Great app, missing ability to import Blood Pressure. I can import daily steps from Apple Health to Livongo app but would love if I can import my blood pressure data to Apple Health app as well. Based on others feedback it seems that option is available for Blood Sugar levels.

Doesn't sync with Apple Health reliably. I got this for BG testing and tracking. It seemed like a cool idea, but after using it some I'm less than impressed. It doesn't track BG results with Apply Health reliably -- some days it doesn't add anything to Apple Health, other days it will add a single measurement multiple times. In addition, there's no way to add a BG result from a different testing device. Which means that if I forgot the fancy one in the office, I can't add results from the old test kit I have. All of this to say that unless I use this tester exclusively (which isn't practical for me), I can't track my BG in a single place in a reliable manner.

Livongo!!!. I am very pleased with my Livongo meter! It is super easy to use and the ability to upload my data to the Livongo app is a tremendous benefit. My glucose data is automatically logged so that I can print a report to show to my doctor. This is hands down the best out there! I highly recommend it!

Encouraging. The encouraging notes I receive throughout the day are nice. It gives me suggestions on what I should eat to improve my numbers. Also it cheers me on when I’m doing well with my exercise. I’m finding I want to check my numbers more often. This monitor has been a positive step towards helping me improve my health.😊👍 my

Great help to me. Having just recently been diagnosed with Type II diabetes, I found Livongo to be helpful to me. I look forward to the one-on-one coaching by a diabetes educator. And the ease of the app on my phone syncing my glucose each time I check it is awesome!

Integration?. First... the food log isn’t really much of a food log. Taking a photo of my meal and telling myself what I ate doesn’t give me discreet data to modify my behavior. Would love. Food log much like MyFitnessPal. Also. Would like my blood sugar, food, exercise all in one app, or at least integrated into one app (iHealth?)... any word on when that will actually happen? I can integrate my steps from Livongo to iHealth ... when is my blood sugar going to integrate?

Diabetes details. Patients with diabetes are such a wide range, in every way, that educating them as fast as possible is a tough go. Our healthcare system doesn’t have the equivalent of AA meetings frequency/convenient locations which are vitally needed. This app and Facebook groups are valiantly trying to fill the gap. Bravo!

App is outdated and won’t work. If appears that Livongo pushed a server update over the weekend and the client app says it is out of date and won’t allow access until it is updated. There is no app update available. Called support and was told nothing could be done over the weekend and someone would look at it during normal business hours. Of course, with a federal holiday, that means three days, at least. Totally not acceptable for a critical health app.

To everyone. I so appreciate each and everyone of you. I wished I’d had you years ago because I would have been taking care of myself a lot earlier in life. I so hope I haven’t waited too late.

Good, but I want integration with Apple Health. Pairing to scale and BP monitor was seamless and day-to-day usage has been great. I really love the simplicity. However, I really would like to see this app connect better with Apple Health. My previous BP monitor (Omron) connected and there are scale apps that do, as well.

Grateful. I am so glad that Livongo is always there for me. Thanks for helping me manage my blood pressure and my glucose level. This way I can make better choices when preparing meals for my family and myself. Thanking your team I am,

Diabetic. This program is the best. I can’t say enough about the coaches, they are excellent! Program has help me to stay on target with my bg levels. Good advice, easy to use, grateful for the glucose meter/strips/lancets, challenges that encourage eating and drinking habit changes to the good. So grateful for this program!

Convenient app for glucose testing.. Overall very satisfied with the function of the app; availability of the coaches and records it keeps. Sending detailed reports is a nice feature. Only suggestion is to provide more options on graphical data analytics. Example - graph just glucose numbers at a certain time - like before breakfast.

Needs data transfer to built in Apple Health app. Great app but only 2 stars for the lack of my medical data not showing up in the Apple Health app. This makes it where I cannot export my data to my doctor in one convenient package. I take blood pressure through LIVONGO everyday and my doctor can't see any of this data due to lack of compatibility. Update to allow sharing LIVONGO health data with Apple Health data and this would be 5 stars.

I Love Livongo!!. I feel more empowered. I am able to check my blood sugars anytime I feel like with out worrying about the amount of strips I can use. I am able to see what the level is after each meal now. This enables me to avoid meals that are causing my blood sugars to rise above normal.

Awesome. I just love the new glucometer. I love that I can use the app to monitor my readings/averages, that someone immediately texts me when I have a high register and offer suggestions to get it back under control again, that I can send a summary to my Doctor’s office for future visits and that reach time I use the device it gives me tips- really love it!

Not the best HealthKit integration. Not the best HealthKit integration as it doesn’t post your blood pressure metrics taken back to HealthKit. Takes your pulse in the equipment and display for a short time but that doesn’t get saved either. The only HealthKit integration is reading your Steps from there and saving on Livongo App. HealthKit integration is essential if the intent is for users to really get beat benefits. All other info is consolidated there.

Great Tool for any Diabetic. This system was offered through my work but if is not offered at yours I highly recommend. I am able to keep track of my sugar levels without keeping a journal- this keeps it for you - it also provides tips on staying and keeping good sugar levels.

Medication Reminder. I have been using this app for about a year. It has helped me on managing my diabetes. The only thing that I would in corporate in to the app is a medication reminder. I tend to forget to take my medication on time. This would also be helpful information for the doctor to know if I missed my medication or what time I took it.

Easy to use. The app is easy to use. I wish there was a way to add meal photos after the fact rather than having to delete the log and start over (adding a photo needs to part of the edit function).

Good. I like the app and the ease of use. The information and tips it provides to help stay on coarse is great. The only downside is that I wish the reading a would also transfer in to the HealthKit. I like having all my information in one area so I can monitor all the readings

Livongo. This app is great! I been able to track my progress easily with this app. It gives so much feedback and helps to motivate me to take better care of myself. It is also user friendly. The glucose meter is also made well and easy to use. I highly recommend all of it!

I love this program!!!. This has given me so much encouragement to better manage my diabetes! The replenishment of supplies and motivation from coaches as well as the simple responses after each blood check! I guess what I love most is it’s involvement... integration into my life! I don’t feel alone in this journey towards a healthier life!

Nice interactive blood glucose monitoring. This glucose monitoring system for diabetics is easy to set up. The meter and strips are easy to use and provide accurate measurements. The cloud-based logging system gets rid of paper logs. The meter gives feedback in real time to help me know how I’m doing.

Livongo Blood Pressure Monitor. Great app! Love the ability to keep track of my BP readings as well as the health advice and track able activities to help keep BP under control. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is that the app does not have an option to re-sync the Blood Pressure Monitor to upload BP readings to the app.

Awesome handy. This machine and app made it very easy to monitor BG as well as keep track of husbands. I love the alert when too high or low. On “other” when how are you feeling would like an option to add what the other is or add headache to choices

Love Livongo!!!. I feel very good there is someone looking out for me if my number is a bit high and they call to check to see if I’m ok or do I have questions, everyone that I have spoken to is very knowledgeable, and very much appreciated!❤️

Has Potential but Lacking. This app has potential but it is lacking key features that most diabetics like to keep track of. Tracking weight and medication to name a few. I got the meter thru my insurance and am thankful for that because of my income but will probably use a different app to keep track ALL information that is important to me.

The Accountability I Need!. Heard about LIVONGO through my insurance. They sent me the scale and all I have to do is step on it each morning... that and be the healthiest me I can be! Coaches are encouraging without judgement. Challenges are relevant and practical. 2 months in and I’m on my way to better health. ALL my numbers are heading in a good direction.

Thanks!. Thanks to the wonderful men and women working for Livongo my Diabetes is at a manageable level. Since utilizing Livongo’s service I have been able to lower my AIC from 8.3 to 6.7. I feel hopeful that I can lead a more productive life despite my diabetes thanks to the care and support given from the staff at Livongo.

Best ever -. I did not know they had meters for Type 2. I really like to see my results real-time. I used to write down my results on paper and lose it. Now I can see the results of what I eat and my exercise (in turn know the good and bad if I step out of line). Thank you.

App is broken. The iPhone app no longer opens — I get a message onscreen telling me to update my app. When I click the button, it takes me to the App Store where the only button I can click is the OPEN button (the UPDATE button is missing; it tells me that I already have the most recent version of the app). Please fix this. I see from the other recent reviews that this is a common problem, and that I am not the only one having this issue.

Bad. Doesn’t show any of the meter readings like it used to on my phone (IPhone) never had a problem before . Made sure all settings were correct , but still doesn’t work . I use the app on my phone to check in on my daughters blood glucose readings when I’m away . Worse not better !

New user. Obtained this through work and it is the best thing to help me manage my diabetes. So helpful in fact that I have been to bring down my A1C that my doctor is actually thinking of removing me off of my diabetic medication. This has truly helped me tremendously gain control! Thank you

Disappointing. I am able to use the system free with my benefits plan, so I jumped in with the scale and blood pressure system and am disappointed to see that they don’t integrate with Apple Health while I have seen it advertised. Also, the support links should use my default mail application or allow me to copy the email address instead of forcing me to use the Apple Mail app which I never check.

Finally!!!. An app that helps you keep up with your bs and helps you with advice on health, exercise, meal plans and encouragement from coaches as well! I looooovvvveee❤️ this app! I highly recommend it to everyone that’s trying to manage their diabetes

Must have account. This app is not a stand alone type. You must sign up to use it. So that means I won’t be able to use the app and the blood pressure monitor side by side. I requested my account be removed when I was getting someone else’s weekly blood pressure report and felt it a privacy issue. While representatives did respond accordingly, it still doesn’t make up for the fact that signing up for a new account can be done unless contacting the reps. I get errors otherwise.

Instant Feedback. It’s been only a few months since receiving my test kit and supply’s. This system rocks. Instant feedback. Recipe’s to try out better ways of approaching ( managing) your BG. Along with follow up text messages. This is a great system.

First time user. Love this app. It hooks you up with free exercise and nutrition coaches. I have high blood pressure and they sent me a meter for free that connects to the app. It then exports the data into a pdf I can share with my provider. I love the 5 day challenges to live a more healthy life and 5 days a new one starts.

Find it harder to use than two other programs I have.. I am sure that they have the diabetics’ best interest in mind, but I find it more fussy to use than my favorite Lose It program. This program has you put in the time you eat the food each time you add a food even though it is all under say dinner. Program needs tweaking.

Best app for me!!. I have tried other apps that have you track EVERY piece of food u touch • that was AWFUL for me!! This is sooooo perfect for me! I love the challenges!! I love what it tells you to eat!! It tracking your weight thru an awesome scale givin to me FREE!! Livongo is AWESOME!! Thank you soooo much!!!

App. The issue with my gift card has been resolved. I can say that I truly enjoy the simplicity of getting on the scale or taking my blood pressure, and having the data automatically sent to the app.

Missing important features. They keep upgrading, but neglect one of the most important features for diabetics. You still cannot change the high/low limits for blood sugar. The set range is too high. Also, the tagging feature is too limited, as you are restricted to one tag per reading and you cannot add custom tags. Otherwise the app is ok. Can view your sugar readings and add new ones, and there is limited reporting.

Please add apple health weight integration. The app works great, the devices are great. It's helping keep track of my weight and BP. However - I was hoping it would also automatically export my weight/BP measurements to Apple Health, where the rest of my entire health records are stored. Unfortunately it seems that that is not a feature at this time, which defeats a large part of the reason I began this program. Please add this in the future

No Apple or Samsung health integration. It’s really nice that my Livongo provided scale takes nearly a minute to upload 4 digits to the Livongo app. It would also be nice if I could integrate that information into Apple Health or Samsung Health. I also was using the LoseIt app, I can’t use the scale with that, nor can the app share the weight information. Third party integration would make this a 4 star app.

Blood pressure not exported to Apple health. You can import steps but not export blood pressure data to Apple health? If I had known that I would not use this device. There’s plenty of devices that support blood pressure export to Apple health. I found of users reviews with similar experience. I use Apple health to see health info from lots of devices from different vendors. Even lab results. I am disappointed the company would choose this over try to keep me in their app. I don’t think the apps compete against each other, but complement.

Pick and choose who they want to accept. Put my information in and they pick and choose who they accept! Coworker and myself competed the sign up the same was through our apps and he got everything. While I’m still waiting for them to check my information! Only problem is I’ve been with the company way longer! Make that make sense! Waste of time!
