BEST VIRTUAL HUMIDOR. Cigar Register has all the features that I needed plus some extras I never knew I wanted. I enjoy taking notes, pictures, and reviewing the cigars I’ve had pleasure of smoking. I keep track of length of rest and box dates, tasting notes.. This app makes it easy, with a catalog of brands that is vast if not complete. Easy to add a brand if not already in the catalog. I have found it stable and battery efficient. No ads. A perfect virtual humi!

Love This App!. The app has most cigars on the market though not all; happily it’s easy to add a cigar. Good design and easy to use, this app is a must-have for lovers of the leaf. Please, please make an app like this for pipe tobacco!!!

Not bad but not worth the money. I know the cigar world is ever changing but they don’t have many brands on here and if they do they don’t have the cigar on there. And some of these have been around for a long time. The other thing that isn’t great is the fact that if you try to enter in a different kind of wrapper then the ones they supply it crashes the app. It’s like they want to be right if not you can’t put your entry in. The only thing it’s great for is reviewing your cigars and know which ones you have.

Just okay. Lacks a lot of features that would make things easier for tracking and convenience. Entire cigar database seems to be strictly based off of cigars input by only the users.

Good app. Can we have cloud support?. It would be awesome to be able to save this data on an account which can then be opened up in the website or the app. I lost my phone a while back and lost all of my data. I know you can back up files, but all under an account would be amazing.

Great App. This is a great app, I've enjoyed using it. Getting started wasn't super intuitive. However, I reached out to their customer service and they got me squared away quickly.

Pretty Nice, Easy to Use. I really like this app. It’s somewhat simple yet nearly everything you need. There are a few cigars I’ve encountered not in the database but it allows you to add them manually. Only wish you could sort by oldest and you could put hyperlinks in the note.

Good app. Only thing I see wrong is I would like an update in cigar catalog to compensate new cigars coming out.

Almost there. Just installed a portion of my collection About half of what I own is not even listed in your database It’s a shame as I have some world class offerings that still can be purchased today Let’s get your database more up to date

Only problem I have. I have an iPad and iPhone and I can link the two together to see my list at home and on the go. This needs to be fixed.

Good App. Pretty good app. I would like to see it updated more frequently with current Vitolas by manufacturer.

Great app! Very user friendly. Was using a free cigar app and it was really buggy and didn’t set up my humidor count like I wanted. saw this and thought, meh, why not! I got it set up real quick, it was very intuitive, and not buggy at all! The catalog of cigars is pretty deep, and when there isn’t one of your cigars in the catalog, it is easy to set it up on your own. Awesome app!

Excellent App.. This app is great for collecting all you favorite cigars data. It would be nice if you could share between friends.

First timer cigar connoisseur. I really enjoy this app as I can store all the information about the cigars I enjoy and want to continue to enjoy.

Almost 5 stars. Really enjoy that I can keep track of my inventory and add notes/reviews. Just wish there was more in the database. Some very well known cigars are not on here and you have to add them yourself.

Good app. It’s a good app but it would be great if I could separate my sticks by humidor location. I order a lot by mail so my cigars first enter a small humidor to keep guests from grabbing one that isn’t ready to smoke. To add to that, the ability to track length of time in the humidor would also be nice. Outside of that, the catalog is good and the ability to add to it is nice.

It could be better. There are very few, if any other, options in the App Store that do the same thing as CR. You could say they have the market cornered. I hope in further releases they make the app syncable across devices.

Exactly what I was looking for. Everything I was looking for. Perfect way to track you collection, and even better, know how much age everything has without having to write on blank bands. Even let’s you rate and take notes. It would be cool if you could track what you’ve smoked separate from your active collection and go thru/find those notes more easily, but that would just be a bonus. The app is nearly perfect and I can’t believe it took me this long to find it.

Share app?. Is it possible to share this app so my son can have access to the current inventory and add and delete as needed?

Devs...this App Needs HELP!!. First 5 attempts to log a cigar weren’t listed, and I’m not talking about boutique, niche stuff. And every single vitola is listed using traditional names...I went to log a RoMa Craft Neanderthal HN, but all that was listed under the line was “corona extra” and “petite perfecto”. C’mon guys, these brands name their sizes for a reason, and customers identify with these names too. I want to log a Padrón 1926 No. 48 but I have to search through all the traditional names in the app that seem similar and then confirm the correct size...major FAIL!! Save your money and download Cigar Scanner...it’s WAY better than this.

Almost perfect. If you could update the app with everything on the website, it would be perfect. Maybe it’s just the mobile version, but the website is buggy. It’s not accepting payment methods (I think the icons to tap are just pictures instead of links) you can’t edit certain things, and adding new cigars doesn’t always work. But the site has more categories, a larger catalog, and overall has a better look. Just combine the best of the two, update the app, and I’d pay twice what it costs now.

Great but no date. This is a much needed app and the developers did it the right way. I deducted one star only because they neglected to add an important filter. While the app allows you to organize by region and shape, it does not allow you to organize by vintage. For thoes keeping track of their collection’s aging, this filter is a must. I hope they read this and make an update.

The catalogue is misses tons of brand. Unless app if you already have inventory sheet.. I got this to help me keep track of my cigars and I have spent more time inputting them into your unfinished catalog that I mine as well just kept them on my spreadsheet. I will not be using this app I don’t think and I know I wasted my money. Please get a full catalog with stick info already inputted like body and simple tasting notes. I would love a refund but know that I wont get one. Stay away from this app if you already have an inventory sheet.

Solid App. I really like the app. I wish there was a column for pricing that could also be searched by. People want to see and sort by. Pricing, country, shape and strength.

Please Add Wish List. This app is decent, although I think it’s over priced. Especially since you can’t create a wish list for cigars you want to try at a later date

Needs work. The app is great but needs some big updates of the catalog there are many cigars I have but can not log in can that be looked into

Solid. I use it daily. Reliable, intuitive. The Dev team updates the app regularly and reacts quickly to feedback.

Must have for cigar lovers. This app is a must have for cigar lovers. Makes it really easy to track your cigar inventory and organize your tasting notes. You can keep track of literally everything, where you got them, how long you’ve had them, pictures of them, etc. Has a large database of cigars that makes it easy to get all of the info you could want on your cigars. All that being said, it isn’t perfect. I wish the user had the ability to designate background area in the photos. Also, new and obscure cigars are not going to be found in the database. You can still add the cigar to your list, but if you want all of the information about the cigar, you will have to go research that yourself and enter it all manually.

Too limited. Was not expecting to only be able to keep track of 1 collection. This needs to be modified for keeping multiple collections waste of money

Great app, time for a version update!. Love this app! I’ve been using it for 18 months now and thoroughly enjoy it! Particularly the ability to pull items from the catalogue to my collection. It is definitely time for a version update...several prominent line extensions (eg: MF, LADC) are missing as well as some LE’s (TAA).

Good could be great. I was looking for a cigar app similar to the craft beer app untapped. This app is good but could be great if the search function was better. Have the ability to scan would help and also add cigars you can’t find in their catalog. Looking through dozen of cigars trying to find the right one is a pain.

Easy to use. Doesn’t lag like others. Just starts using it a few days ago. It’s easy to find and add cigars. Was able to add my own that are not in their lists. Works fast. Other apps lag and crash all the time. Haven’t had that yet with this one. Would like to have a “favorites” category so you can mark the ones you want to go back to.

Your Cigar Info at Your Fingertips. If you have a catalog of cigars and enjoy knowing it’s country of origin, brand, tobacco makeup and age, then there is no better cigar app out there. There was an update recently and it add an enormous database of cigars, getting it very current in today’s cigar World. You like Cuban, Nicaraguan, Dominican or Honduran it’s in the data base. I love a properly aged cigar and Cigar Register tells me exactly when I put it in my humidor, how much I spent and how many I have. There is so much data it makes your cigar inventory complete. I’ve had Cigar Register for almost 4 years and couldn’t live without it. Thank you for the update.

A cigar enthusiast must have ap. Provides an effective way to inventory and classify your cigar collections.

No date controls. Don’t see any way of changing the date of innovatory. For me tracking age is more than half the reason of using a app like this. It logs the date you create the entire and you are stuck with it. Save your money.

Good and Bad. While this seems to be the only app out there to list cigars in your humidor. You will have to list one for you iPad a separate one for the MacBook and a separate for the iPhone. Data will not be shared between devices. But the information is mostly pre-listed and somewhat accurate.

Great App. Love this for keeping track of my cigars. My only suggestion would be to add a smoking log. Each time you subtract a cigar, it should add it to a log, so you can keep track of what you smoked

Very good but could be better. If you are a cigar aficionado and have a decent collection of cigars, then you must have this app. There is no other app out there to compete with this app….. but if someone put a little work into this one they could charge double or more. Come on developers, upgrade the catalogue, you don’t have a single ACID cigar? I have a collection of cigars right at 200 sticks across 16 different brands, had to manually enter at least 40% of them. Like the title says, this is a very good app, but it could be amazing!

Good app for enthusiasts. Only complaint is it’s not super intuitive, but once you get the hang of it, it’s really a great tool. As a beginner it helps me keep track of what I have tried, liked, not liked etc. Better than just jotting things in Notes.

Very useful, but…. There are a few functions missing. Has wonderful potential!! I wish it offered barcode scanning, updated catalog, and ability to export the data and/or back it up.

A great way to keep track of your sticks. The Cigar Register app helps me to keep track of my ever changing cigar inventory.

Got to have. Excellent cigar app for all of us that have so many cigars that we can’t remember everything we have in our humidors

Almost perfect. For a collectors of fine tobacco products, being able to adjust the wrapper color names would be great. Also a burn date and time option. When you sort by last burned it just gives you the last one entered, so not helpful. Being able to do subcategories in you collection would be great for like special editions.

Location. Great app, I use it everyday. Is it possible to add “Location” meaning which humidor its located in? Thanks

Terrible Catalog. The catalog/database has less than what free apps have. I bought this because I wanted something better. Unfortunately the ability to find simple premium cigars is impossible. Therefore, maintaining an accurate inventory of your humidors is less than efficient. Unless you’re simply wanting to keep your own log by putting in a cigar manually (without the database function) this app is worthless. They have a decent selection of cigars available, but far from complete. Not even all of the Alec Bradley’s, brickhouses, or la Herencia cigars. These are basic premiums. Not recommended. Totally waste of my $5.00 and I can’t get refunded. Four being on the market for 4 years i sure would hope this would have 95% of the cigars out there. At least match Cigar Scanners inventory... Update: thanks for your response and I’ll be keeping an eye on this to see if I can eventually switch all my cigar inventory over to your app. Keep it up! Thanks.

Additional humidors. It would be nice to have an option to add additional humidors with separate cigar lists

Cigar Register registers Two Thumbs Up!!. Nice app. Easy to use. A great tool to keep track of all of my cigars! I was using the Humidor feature on the Cigar Boss app, but the developers there have abandoned their creation, with no updates or support. It’s actually pulled from the App Store! So, Cigar Register was a nice alternative for me. Would be nice if pictures of cigars would auto-populate when adding your inventory. Took some time to add pics to my entries!!

Great idea. Would be optimal if there was way to use camera right from app and not just photo library, have option to store more photos than just a background, although cigar library is extensive it’s not kept up to date regularly it seems. Would also be cool to assign number of sticks per humidor. Otherwise great app for tracking cigar inventory in general and documenting how you liked them in very granular detail (as much or as little as one might want).

Excellent App. I like everything about this app. Great way of tracking your cigars. I would add the possibility of incorporating pictures of either the bands or the cigars itself.

Just OK. Downloaded app on my phone and entered my inventory. Next day downloaded app on my iPad and I must admit I was curious how the pp was going to recognize the data entered as it didn’t ask me for any login credentials. Sure enough it’s a single platform use. Too much money any 6.99 for an app that’s a single platform based access to your data. Please upgrade your app!!!

Great, but one problem. This 4 star app will get 5 stars when it can synchronize between iPhone and iPad.

Good app. Some updates that would make this best on Apple market is -have to be a reminder feature to remind when low or hyper link where to replenish stock with price matching or something - bar code scanner is a must . Android market has an app that scanners cigars and plugs in all this tedious work needed for this app and it’s free . Idk if it does this or not but if I take the time to type out all the info on a cigar that should be put into main list so others don’t have to do the same they can search what I made and not have to do leg work I did on my whole stock These things need dealt with and not ignored for something I paid for and more options are on android market for free

Can't add new cigars. Their is a bug now that when I go to add a new cigar it won't let me select a country of origin, and that us a required field so I can add new ones. Big problem.

Do not waste your money. First five cigars I tried searching for from major brands like Joya and Tatuaje are not in their database. Thought it would be fun to keep a running record of my ratings and cigars tried, but ended up donating $5.00 to the app.

Not worth it. This app doesn’t really have much functionality. The catalog is pretty weak and non descriptive. Price point is not congruent with usefulness.

Love it. PLEASE PLEASE UPDSTE THIS APP! It can be so good but I cannot remember the last tine your cigar database was updated. You are missing SOOO many brands it’s pathetic. I’m not talking small obscure brands either. I mean good size popular boutique brands. Then Dunbarton tobacco and trust is listed only by cigar name not company. I’m up to 500 cigars. Took a day to hone in on searching correctly but I got it. Only thing I’d like is an inventory location kind of thing. I have a huge hand made humidor. So I manually made my own under the notes section. I have a big lift out tray which has 4 bins across and 3 down. So I refer to a section as like B3 bottom or D2 top. If not I’d never find them. UPDATE 9/1/2019 it appears this app never gets updated anymore. New cigars not added forever if I’m not mistaken.

Love this app!. I can't say enough about how much I love the Cigar Register!! First, and foremost, it makes it so easy to keep track of what is currently in your humidor. I also use it for reference...its full information! One of my favorite uses is to use this as a cigar journal ..adding pictures ..and personal notes about the cigar as well as, when, where, and with who I smoked them. ♥️

Very Close. This would be a 5 star app if their catalog was bigger. That being said I am extremely happy with Cigar Register. I shopped around for quite a while before settling here and from what I have seen so far it is well worth the $5. For the last several years I have, like a lot of people, been using an excel spreadsheet to keep track of what I have in inventory. Cigar Register has nearly everything I keep track of on my spreadsheet. My initial thoughts are below Pros 1. Manually entered cigars are saved in the local library. So if you have multiple batches of the same type of cigar but different ages (like I do), it is easy to add them 2. Searching sticks in the catalog is very easy and adding them to your inventory is just a few clicks 3. Very customizable and flexible in terms of what you have showing for each cigar, like size, age, shape. It is very easy to turn these things on and off 4. Once you have everything entered its very easy to see what is in your inventory at a glance Cons 1. Catalog is smaller than I would like 2. Navigation is a bit clunky and takes time to learn how to manually add cigars. It took me the better part of a day to get my 500+ cigar inventory entered as only about half were in the catalog. 3. Reporting / Sorting / Organization is limited to Brand, Country and Shape. I would like to see Age, Rating and some other common ways to sort. Suggestions 1. Pricing should be expanded. Right now it's just a text field which has no calculation on the back end. It would be nice to be able to track cost / stick and then be able to track current value versus total spend. 2. Expand total count in inventory to include total smoked as well 3. Track / sort / report by age, i.e. oldest stick, average age, youngest stick, maturity date Overall I am happy and optimistic as the catalog grows. I would recommend this app to anyone looking for a quality way to track their sticks
