Bring back the elephant!. I miss the elephant’s nose, when you’re dealing with poor air quality like we are here in Missoula, Montana, the elephant made me a little happier…

No 12 hour forecast as promoted?. I specifically purchased the app for an easily accessible 12 hour forecast, as was promoted. The paid version still only has the 5 hour forecast which is available for free. No response to questions sent 2 ways. Have requested $ back. Pretty sure I won’t get it since they haven’t responded to question about 12 hour forecast.

Inaccurate. I originally downloaded this app because it was affiliated with the iOS Weather app and looks nice. I’ve since used Breezometer for a year now and paid $12 for premium even though I don’t know what the added benefits were. The AQI readings are inconsistent. I’ve found other apps that are free and more accurate and have more features like air quality forecasting and helpful health recommendations. Their core and most accurate feature is an air quality map of the whole world which I imagine is already publicly available data?

What happened?. This used to be a nearly flawless app. Now... it currently says my air is 50 for air quality despite the fact that the smoke from neighboring states’ fires is as thick as fog at the moment. Three other apps have rated the air quality in my area unsafe for anyone to go outside. As a person with a bit of asthma I can’t rely on this app anymore. Very disappointing.

Was great until fire tracker removed. Initially this was a great app for tracking 2021 forest fires and smoke plumes. Then when my area began experiencing excellent air quality the app began reporting very poor air quality. There is simply no way the numbers are correct now. Checked with several other sources and Breezometer is currently wrong. Deleting it.

Update. I am impressed with the speed and the easy to navigate through the app! I true pleasure!

Nice app. So I got the app because I noticed that Apples weather app uses it to get air quality data, but for some reason the weather app shows a different result, so figured this app was more accurate. I only gave it 4 stars because it would be nice to have a widget. One that shows both the air quality and pollen levels.

Never would have considered... I never would have thought to download an ap like this one, it’s insanely helpful, a bit scary when the quality drops but honestly that’s good to know so I can take the precautions I need to stay safe.

Shows ad after I paid for subscription. I paid for an annual subscription but most of the time they show me ads anyway. Also they keep asking me to allow cross platform tracking. They also refuse to accept “only when using “ location services and keep asking me to set it “always on”. More than once it got my location wrong by 30 miles anyway. Worst app I have used in a long time!

Super Helpful // A Daily App. Huge fan of this app. My wife and I are both outdoorsy people, often running or biking daily and camping on the weekends. This app has given us a tool to make better decisions on whether we should exercising inside or out, and what areas of our home state of Colorado have the best air quality when making weekend travel plans.

Neet app - but not really accurate. This is a very nice app. Easy to use and very understandable! However, I want people to know this app may not display the most accurate air quality data (although is probably close enough for some personal decisions on outdoor activities) If your health depends on it, then you need to use the EPA's website - do not use this app!! Just read what the license agreement says: "information may appear in a delay and/or may be partial or inaccurate, and therefore we cannot and do not warrant that the content available on the App is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free."...

Pollen feature broken. I bought this app for the pollen tracker and map, and for a year it was excellent. I was able to track all my allergies and know when I was going to have to start taking medication, and even used it to plan trips. At that time I would have given it 5 stars. But in the past month all of the pollen tracking features have slowly stopped working. I’m not even able to switch between different types of pollen anymore, and the map has disappeared. I really hope they fix this issue, because before then it was a great app, worth every penny.

Not Really. This app uses some type of algorithm to predict what the air quality should be in your area, not what it actually is. It does not use air monitoring devices, for instance. It is so often radically wrong as to be useless. For instance, I've seen heavy rains for 12 hours straight and still had the app tell me the air quality was poor with a heavy load of small particulate matter. Impossible! It has also told me the air was great, when it was in reality so clogged with acrid smoke from burning off the sugar cane fields that you needed to hold a cloth over your face to breathe. The app is useless. Don't waste your time with it.

Accurate AQI data. Fast response and accurate comparable with the data you can get from internet.

Awesome app. Great resource for tracking and forecasting local air quality. Especially helpful for athletes who are impacted by air quality issues.

Maybe the European API is Calculated Differently?. It looks like the company who created this app. is based out of Israel, so maybe the API is calculated differently, because the API result I was given is numerically the opposite of the result I was given from my state's government-maintained website. My state is showing an API of 175, whereas the app is showing an API of 16. Both indicate poor air quality. I will be deleting the app., because I need to be able to check the air quality with values I can compare and understand.

Good app. Combines the levels of pollutants into one number. The reading seems to make sense. For example, the reading is higher (better) after rain and lower on a smoggy winter day in Salt Lake City

It was fine until last week’s update.. The AQI number doesn’t match your local address number you see on the map view any longer. Also it doesn’t match other local AQI numbers anymore either. What happened? Where is this new misleading data coming from??? Change it back to how it was!

Great design, slow and a pain to use. Downloaded this app since the stock weather app sources its data from it. I like how everything is laid out, the map which shows air quality around the globe, and the details of what’s in the air. However, the app is extremely slow to start, lags out a lot, and is generally unpleasant to use due to either loading or lack of optimization. I’m not on an old phone either (11 Pro Max), so it shouldn’t really perform this poorly. I’ll come back to it when the performance issues are fixed.

Dangerously inaccurate. The need for hyper-local air quality data is obvious, but this app provides misinformation. For example, during the recent California wildfires, the app reported that my air home quality was “GOOD“ (76 - higher numbers indicate better air), when three Purple Air sensors within a few blocks of my home reported air quality was “UNHEALTHY” (150 or higher, using the US air quality index (AQI) where higher numbers indicate worse air). We could smell and see smoke in the air at the time.

OK if you live near an air monitor. I learned that I live almost one hundred miles from an EPA air monitor. So this app is useless. It was giving me a reading from across the state that had nothing to do with my location. There should be some distance limit or the app should say where the reading is coming from. The EPA site honestly tells me it cannot get a reading for my location because the closest monitor is so far away.

Widget is broken. Great app but widget needs work. First of all, it doesn’t work if you set location settings to “while using the app” which you should absolutely do for privacy. Secondly, it uses BreezoMeter air quality index ignoring in-app settings. Thirdly, it’s an old iOS style widget that need to be modernized for new versions. For now I’m using AirVisual widget instead.

Great Application. The „Map View“ is really awesome. Suggestion is to be able to move around the „cards“ and be able to launch the app with this view to not have to click anything

Not accurate for Miami. This app is not accurate in regards to the air quality in Miami. I’m allergic/ sensitive to dust and mold and often feel congested by time particles in the air. I often look on WebMD and it shows high mold and dust in the air. I know this is accurate because I feel it and have allergies. Yet, I look at Breezometer and it says the air quality is great. Obviously this app does not track mold counts or dust which is usually very high in Miami from the Saharan dust. Very misleading.

Broke for small screens. Can’t get past Terms of Service Agreement splash page. Seems to be caused by app update. It worked on this device a few months ago. Splash page extends past bottom of screen. If there is a button that needs to be cocked to proceed it is not visible on screen. Report a Problem in Apple App Store will not allow me to report quality issue for this app (maybe because it was free and there is no receipt?). Developer site does not have obvious place to submit support issues- only generic Contact Us asking for PII. So here’s a bad review as option of last resort

Widgets Needed. The addition of widgets would dramatically improve my usefulness of the app. I like to have a page of widgets that show my day, including air quality.

Not Accurate. I love the layout of this app. It gives a breakdown of what pollutants are in the air and recommends what actions you should take. Unfortunately, for my area at least, it is extremely inaccurate. Right now it says the air quality in my area is moderate, while all other apps, websites, news reports, and my own eyes are telling me the air quality is very unhealthy. I wish they would fix it because I otherwise prefer the app to others.

Helpful app for someone with asthma!. Although it’s pretty easy to take a look outside and see what the air quality is (or check the news), how bad is it really? This app aggregates all that information into one place! The interface is easy to use and aesthetically please! Highly recommend!

Great idea but not making it. Love how fun the elephant is and how easy it is to use. But like other reviewers are saying it is not accurate. It says we're in the red lower teens and it's breezy and so clear today! The last couple days we couldn't even see our neighboring mtns and it was in the yellow... I compared online and other sites that say we are almost in the green today. Keep trying BreezoMeter!

Incredibly Helpful. Useful tool. Have used it to track west coast fires. As I travel across the country it helped me avoid certain routes that had unhealthy smoke.

great app and update. I love it. And even without Premium, thr fact that it gives the primary pollutants, hourly forecast, and fires and their names and size and so many others!! Love it.

Pretty but inaccurate. wildly inaccurate. other apps/news sources say the air quality is extremely poor and i can see that the air quality is very poor but this app tells me it’s “good” air quality, and the AQI is way off from what other apps tell me. I wanted it to work, but at least for now it does not.

Pollen readings totally wrong. The air quality forecast for my area is accurate but the pollen forecast is extremely inaccurate. The past 2 days, you could see pollen clouds in the air and you could even taste the pollen. The app shows tree pollen: 2 out of 5, grass pollen: 1 out of 5. Sensio Air shows 10 out of 10 and AirCare says 400 on the readings, which is about 7.5 out of 10.

It’s ok. It’s an ok app. Looks scientific but it seems to lag in changes in air quality. And recently, ARGH. Full screen ads! I have HUGE problem with apps that bully users into paying by inundating users with annoying ads. What’s next—ads with sounds?! I’m Uninstalling before that happens.

Air is Important. This app makes it easy to see where you’re at!

Good app but location tracking needs to be looked at. I think this is a very good app although my only complaint is that when it accesses my location, it thinks I'm in one place when I'm somewhere else.

Get it now!. I used this app in the East Bay to find better air to breath in California and to find evacuation routes when it seemed like the whole state was aflame within 48 hours. I have breathing issues and I would not be without it!

Now I get it. Originally I wrote a bad review about the accuracy but if you go to the very bottom of the screen that shows your air quality, there is a scale that shows you the AQI LEVEL. It’s different numbering than we use in the USA(this company is in Israel), the lower the number the worse the air quality. I do agree with the one review that this app should adapt to each country’s AQI scoring.

It Works!. The fires here in California have made the air quality very poor. Only this app properly reflected this fact, while many others that claimed to report air quality have not accurately done so.

Great App. I use this app frequently and now purchasing has been fixed it’s even better!!! I’m so excited to be able to use this app again! 10/10 highly recommend!

used to be good, now it doesn't work. below i will paste what i was going to email to the dev. BUT their web form REQUIRES to sign up for their newsletter in order to contact them. what? no thanks. my note to the dev: i've been using the ios app for a year or so, but a recent update has bricked it. when i open the app, i get the "Welcome to Breezemaster" screen. it wants me to check the TOS and PP checkbox. i can do so, and the image darkens, but that's it. i cannot navigate or do anything else. scrolling, swiping, and "clicking" do nothing. i can touch the TOS and PP links and they do lead me to those respective pages, but nothing else. it's been like this for the last 2 updates for me.

BreezoMeter. Well designed app for anyone with breathing issues and/or allergies. Too bad the designer couldn’t have included a more inclusive image under “My Exposure”. Sign of the times.

Keeps nagging me for my locations service. This was the only reason I used this app, the fact it works and doesn't nag for location services now it defaults to Israel no matter what even if I have saved locations. It also nags you more than once about your location services. This app is now garbage I've been using it for years and now I'm deleting it because of recent bad design changes.

Access to the entire photo app on my iPhone.. When I tapped the little symbol on the base of the elephant, I was unpleasantly surprised to see that this app included the entire contents of my iPhone photo app, and suggested that I pick a photo to personalize (I guess the gauge)! I immediately emailed the app and asked why in the world they needed access to my pictures and how they got them since I’d never agree to allow that. It’s been over a week and I haven’t gotten a reply, so I just deleted the app but still don’t know what they did with my photos and how and why they got them. Press that little thing on the elephant and see if they have yours !!!

Highly questionable data. UPDATE: still dangerously inaccurate readings. We are adjacent to several wildfires and air quality is bad with a strong smoky odor and visible soot blocking the sun. AirNow, PurpleAir, and the county’s AQ monitoring agency are all saying the air is hazardous and not to go outside at all. The local authorities are saying not to be outside for more than a minute without a respirator. Meanwhile, Breezometer is is displaying a “green” status and telling me the air in my area is “Good” (67). This is extremely dangerous and irresponsible. Users’ health could be put at risk by Breezeometer’s bad data. I’m going to have to uninstall and update my rating to 1 star. - - - - - I want to like this app, but the data sources for its air quality readings do not seem to be very accurate. It is literally raining ashes outside right now, yet but the app says my area’s air quality as “moderate (55)”. All the other AQ readings (AirNow, Purple Air, BAAQMD, etc.) show the air as hazardous. Also, it drives me nuts when the Breezometer app alerts me of an active fire just 4 miles away, but when I tap the “Learn More” button, nothin happens. This app needs a lot of work, IMO.

Changing Current Location. Your “current location” is pre-set and is usually not accurate. One my app. it’s miles off! You can set another location but you have to change it every time you open the app. In this regard I liked the previous version better.

Limited Data. No pollen information available outside the contiguous 48 states, so only partly useful. Also picked an odd default location downtown and reported an unhealthy reading as being the ‘same as usual.’ The wider area is being affected by wildfires right now so it’s definitely bad. But outside of fire season most of the city has very healthy air quality. So it’s not the ‘same as usual’ for most people in the area.

Bad information from slick visuals. The app is nice to use but it has serious problems in the presented data. First, it’s visuals don’t correspond to air quality data from real measuring points. AirVisual IQAir has real data that you can trust. Second, it doesn’t have air quality at the resolution it presents. Because of this, it glosses over sources of smog and pollution giving the false impression that the air quality is fine beside that coal power plant. Lastly, I’m suspicious that it gets air quality data from satellites, which cannot measure smoke pollution from PM2.5. In the end, this app gives bad information on air quality and suggests that air quality is more healthy that it is, which is highly problematic. Not recommended.

Love it, but looking forward to more features. This app has been really helpful in monitoring my local pollen forecast. I wish it had better widgets focused on displaying Pollen information so I can see that information at a glance instead of going into the app or receiving notifications.

Inaccurate readings. I’m hugely disappointed with this app. It was always my go to and I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to realize how bad and inaccurate it is. It is incredibly irresponsible especially in a time where wildfires are happening so often. It will literally be raining ash and the app never leaves the “moderate” setting. People need apps like this to stay alert and really know how hazardous the air is at the time, but BreezoMeter is either broken or irresponsible. Save your time and money and look for a more accurate app!

Great App. DL this app to check the AQ during the NSW bush fires, it was to compare with my Dyson App info. I found the figures to be a useful tool being an asthmatic I found it a little difficult to breath so I knew when to stay in or go out. I would recommend it

Completely useless here in Australia. The millions of people who trust this app must be outside Australia. Shame. I better trust my own eyes and ears.

Andad. Woke up this morning and looked outside , smoke really bad , checked Breezometer and saying 72 good Put that app in rubbish bin

Australia. Ive been using breezometer and it was a great app Unfortunately when we need it most here in Australia its not functioning

10/10. Awesome as hell 😈😈

This app is a health hazard. Hazardous smoke everywhere in Sydney confirmed by other websites this app claims good air quality score over 70 ridiculous should be banned health hazard!

Incorrect calculation's of smoke. Seems to be lagging in its calculations. But when the air is good I think it works.

Not even close. Smoke everywhere outside, yet the app says things are fine. Not even close to being real-time.

Fantastic. Very helpful app

Breezometer won’t cancel my subscription. Their instructions to cancel are to do it in the subscriptions on my phone, however, their app is not showing up there. I have attempted to contact them without any response. I just want to cancel!!

No °Celsius. There’s no way to switch the weather tab to Celsius so it’s useless outside the US.

To switch to Celsius. To switch to Celsius you have to tap the 3 bars in the corner by the search/name of your area or a area. Then go to settings and that’s where you switch it

Any way to switch to non-Freedom units?. The information looks good, but wish I could find a way to convert to metric and Celsius

It’s gone downhill. I’ve used this app for se real years. It’s a handy tool to have when you experience fire season. This latest update sucks though. I miss it when it used to actually have the elephant that would point to the air quality level. It’s very glitchy. My app displays air quality of 1 but in another screen it says 81.

Total garbage. Not accurate at all. Waste of time

Awesome. I can help my parents and grandparents depending on where they are especially in summer

Missing Quality-of-Life Features when Typing in the Location Field. I would like to see these quality of life features: Being able to select text in the Location Field by double taping + having the option to increase/decrease the sides by moving them using your finger and by having “Select” and “Select All” buttons that pop up whenever you double tap. Tapping anywhere outside the Location Field should remove the select text box. Moving the cursor to a different spot in the location field by tapping with your finger. I also have a question: Are activities like cutting cement taken into account when updating the air quality meter?

Unscientific. Designed to track your interests. A commercial venture designed to make money at the cost of quality scientific information. They provide wrong information to stoke worries and eventually sell marketing ploy interests. Unethical. Simply egregiously evil.

Pollen not accurate.. There is so much cotton wood flying around my area and this app continues to say there isn’t any. The air quality is on point but the pollen could be worked on. I’m allergic to 50+ tree pollen and plants so the pollen portion not being accurate doesn’t help

Amazing!. Most of my family has a pollen allergy, and I have reactive airways . BreezoMeter has been super helpful. 😍

Not accessible with voiceover. I can’t understand why Apple which likes to spout off about how accessible their devices are for blind users, would partner with a company that flagship app is totally useless and horribly laid out for voice over users

Great. This is a great app. Easy to see what the air is like right off.

Make compatible for iPad. I love this app on my phone, but what would be even better is if this app was compatible with my iPad. I can deal with the long screen but, this app doesn’t do itself justice by a missed opportunity.

App is good … but …. I really like the app ..!! But I think it needs a Dark Mode Option

Cool looking but inaccurate. So I love the layout of this app, but unfortunately I went to a location that was rated good at 76, and the area happened to have poor air quality with visible smoke in the air. Will look to other sources for more accurate data.

Wildfire Tracking Gone!. This was a useful app until they remove the wildfire tracking. I have serious asthma and allergies, and that tracker was a life and death necessity. Now… nothing’s available. 😖

Nice. Nice to know air quality especially when there are wildfires.

Get the BreezoMeter App!!. Accurate and easy to use! Get the App and you’ll be glad!

Doesn’t track pollen.. Always looking for something to help us through allergy season. Looks like a nice app but doesn’t track pollen in my area which makes it useless to me.

Slow. The app is slow to update to the current air quality. You’ll go to the main page, then the map, then back to the main page and the numbers have all changed.

BreezoMeter is absolutely wonderful - It’s one of those “must know” items !!. Thanks

One useful application. Use it almost every day.

Top notch. Very helpful in getting to the root of sinus issues. Well done.

Nice app. Helps to see what’s going on wherever I am. Especially pollen information.

Needs updating for fire conditions. This app needs to be updated to show the air quality that is affected by wildfires. It is currently orange outside, and your app says the aqi is 70, instead of the 171 it actually is.

Love the accessibility!. Needed a much clearer idea of what’s happening here in Montana! It’ll be a great help for my family

Great, when it works. Love this app, when it works. Half the time it shows 0 though, which I know is not accurate. Not thrilled.

P. I like it. But sometimes it acts up

Inaccurate. There are currently California wildfires within 30 miles of here and the smoke smell and air quality is terrible this morning, but the app says our air quality is excellent. We can barely tolerate the smell and we’re inside the house.

Review I only had it a few days and so far I really love it. I I

Meh. Seemed fairly accurate for pollen, but was never accurate for air quality where I am

iOS widget for allergies is still missing. Thanks for adding the new iOS widget. But there is no option to select Alergies. I see only Air quality.

Accuracy?. Why does it call a reading of 72 GOOD? Shouldn't that be MODERATE? Also there is so much variance in what AQI apps report. Which one is right? Gives me more questions than answers....

Most buy. The greatest weather app ever!

Inaccurate. Reports fog as pollution. Had an aqi of 500 on the coast during rainy season when air couldn’t be clearer. Dumb app. I wouldn’t have known about it if it wasn’t connected to my weather app. I hope they are removed from the weather app in favor of a more accurate aqi.

Apple Watch widget please. I would like to be able to add widgets from your app to both my custom phone lock screens and Apple watch.

😊. This has been really helpful for me because it is super Smokey rn thanks for the amazing app!

Great Air Quality App!. It Works As Intended & Is Worth The Download!!👍

Good air quality app. I like the design the app has

Save location???. Why can't we save locations, especially when Androids can do this with this app??

Mashes together pollen and pollution. I wish it would differentiate between pollen heavy and pollution heavy days instead of having a single category. Those are very different things!

Useless in maine. I wake up to birch pollen all over my car and the app says birch pollen is out of season Have 3 stars so my review might get read by someone May downgrade

Counterintuitive and inaccurate. This is the only air quality scale where the highest number means cleaner air. Also, it’s always completely different when I compare there numbers to other local sources.

Useful but buggy. Unfortunately, this app won’t hold on to Settings. I don’t want air quality alerts or fire alerts, yet every time I turn them off under Settings, they’re back on within a couple hours.

Love the app- but now not working. I love this app, I have used it many times. All of a sudden it stopped working. I tried deleting and re downloading it, still not working. :(

Love it. No matter how bad our air has been comparing it to Beijing is always uplifting and sad as hell for the planet.

Knowing what to expect. This app truly helps me because of my emphysema Thank You Soooo much

Data is not accurate, check your other sources. Other data providers have our area at near 200aqi and this app is saying 54. Definitely double check other sources before making your decision.

Not accurate. I wanted to find out what allergens were currently in the air as I am not feeling good with allergies. Downloaded the app, says the air quality is so stellar out, I should be able to take on the world. Ugh, what? Delete!

Inaccurate. Set the air quality index was 18 when it's actually 74. Said that an 18 air quality index was poor. When it's actually quite good. I'm not sure if they have their own writing or what. But I am deleting this app after using it for just one day

Unusable. App is unusable and shows zero data for my location. Do the developers know there are people living in 195 countries?

Best sensing. I used this on my location and it worked ewell

Not worth the cost for no ads. What they don’t tell you is the $1.99 to remove all ads is a monthly recurring fee. Very misleading. Should state $1.99 is not a once and done in app purchase.

I want to live job. Art/technology. Apple

CN3443. Accurate, easy to use, and very informative. Love it and highly recommend it.

The Best Air Quality App. WOW, BreezoMeter is the best Air Quality app ever, have had no problems with the app! Keep up the good work!

This app is terrible !!. Does not know where I live ! I payed for no adds , still have adds ! I am suffering with allergies and this app says everything is fine ? I have another pollen app and the map is totally red , high allergy alert ! And you use this app for reference on tv ?
