Wrong. Calendar doesn’t match the dates I input. My current situation is inserted Monday, February 12, remove Monday, March 5.. however the calendar feature shows Remove FRIDAY, March 2. It makes NO SENSE. The one thing this app has to do is count and inform. It does not.

Can’t adjust the dates. I went on a trip so I couldn’t remove my ring when I needed to. I can’t adjust the dates so now my dates are messed up and I can’t move the dates around.

Never got notified. The app never notified me when it was time to remove or insert. I rely on the app to help me keep track of just that. If that feature doesn’t work it’s pointless.

Needs work. I just downloaded the app and everything was going well util I didn’t see an option to add notes on the days that have passed.. i click on the dates but nothing pops up to prompt me to add note for that day or anything.

It’s great!. Love it.

Used to be perfect. This is the only app that I really like for this, but lately it’s really been screwing up my cycles and not reminding me at the proper times to insert & remove, please please fix this... obviously it’s very important for us to get it right..

ANNOYING. Used to be my favorite app to use. Now it’s so annoying. Never ever saves my information and is always wrong !!

Periods shouldn’t have ads. This is a great app, with excellent visual aids for remembering the timing of your ring. But the ads are the absolute worst. I need to know how to time my birth control, not how to gamify my life. I cannot handle having to wait for an extremely long ad to play when I just need to know whether or not to take my ring out.

Used to work perfectly. I used to trust and rely on this app to tell me when to remove and insert my Nuvaring. I’ve now been duped by it twice and it’s completely messed up my cycle by telling me to remove it on the wrong day. I have a separate app to remind me when to take all of my daily medications because I have trouble remembering due to brain fog. Last time this happened I made sure to actually open the app and check the dates from then on but I forgot this most recent time due to being under a lot of stress. I expect better from a paid app.

Ehh. I’m a forgetful person so this is a great app! However, it’s clearly made by guys. I don’t care what color the dots on my calendar are and definitely don’t need 170 color options (some apps have decorative options like flowers or hearts...oh man- literally 🙄) i care about flexibility (which is lacking with this app) and timely alerts.

Super helpful. The app has never failed to help me keep on track with my ring and I've been using it for a year and I'm still not pregnant it's great!

Simple and efficient. It works really well and helps me remember at which point of the cycle I am. I only wish the color dots in the calendar were of a bit brighter color and a bit bigger size.

No alerts anymore. The app was great, but recently it has stopped giving me alerts and now I’ve missed the week I was supposed to take my ring out. Going to find a different app.

Terrible. App would work fine and then suddenly would stop notifying me off when to change my ring. Unreliable.

I used to like this app. This app used to be useful and I would get reminder notifications and then they stopped. So I thought maybe something was wrong with the app so I deleted it the re-downloaded it only to find out if I want reminders I have to pay for them now. That’s messed up to do that when it was a free app to now charge for reminder. I would give it zero stars if I could.

It was fine until it wasn’t. Idk what happened, but 2 months ago this app stopped sending me notifications. I have relied on this app to remind me about my ring for the last 7 years, so when I didn’t get my reminder 2 months ago I didn’t remove my ring for a whole week. Messed everything up. Still messed up. I’m getting rid of the app after giving it 2 more months to work properly, but I should’ve received my reminder at 8 AM this morning and I didn’t. Over it. Just put “ring in”/“ring out” reminders in your calendar. It’s not worth the risk, I’ve been a mess for 2 months and now I’m vindictive. Don’t use the app.

Seriously?. I don’t know what has happened recently, but I rely heavily on this app to remind me when to insert and remove my ring and it’s not been notifying me. It’s a simple request. It’s what this app was made for. There have been multiple complaints about no notifications and the issue has still not been resolved.

Bad. This app gave me the same notifications twice causing me to take out ring a day early! It gave me False notifications

Doesn’t do what it’s supposed to. The app told me to take out my nuvaring 10 days early and it threw everything off. I used the app for a while and never had any issues, but now it doesn’t even work for me. I highly recommend getting a different app to keep track of your nuvaring.

It does its job but.... It serves its purpose but the problem is it’s so bland. Idk there should be more to it.

What happened.. I purchased this app a few years back and it was great but this month, I didn’t receive a reminder and messed up my cycle. I’m going to have to look into another app. So unfortunate!

Date glitching. Multiple times now it has given me a “time to take out your ring notification” ON THE WRONG DAY. Usually it is about a week ahead of what it’s supposed to be. And yes once I listened to it and took out my ring and didn’t even realize until the next day and then had to insert a new one and it screwed up my whole cycle. It’s nice to have but do NOT rely on it always being right.

Bad design. Ok, so my first issue is that it doesn’t even have an option for my cycles. I specifically downloaded an app so I wouldn’t have to change everything around in my calendar while I’m skipping cycles for the next few months. This is a 28 day in, 0 day out cycle. You just put a new ring in right away... the app only allows you to go down to 2 days out. Alright, whatever. So I tried to tweak it to make my “out day” a red dot just so I would know when to switch mine out for a new one.. but it marks my “out day” and the extra two days it’s making me have the same color, and it would alert me again to put a new one in two days later. That and every time you want to change the dot colors or anything, it resets all of your settings. Like what? Why not just let me change one thing at a time instead of having to redo everything? Just a terrible setup & no options for those of us that skip cycles. Found a free app that had all the options and didn’t reset to change small things.

It’s does the job. The calendar should be adjustable. My date moves due to late start on period. I should be able to adjust the day I enter my ring

Help. I like the app, but I’m having an issue with the settings the scroll to change setting isn’t visible so I have to guess what numbers I’m choosing. It’s real annoying. I even paid for the monthly thinking it will fix the issue it didn’t. Please help

DONT USE THIS APP. This app along with all the others I’ve tried count incorrectly I had my settings on 21 days in 7 days out and I just realized that it was actually doing 22 days in & 8 days out which has had my cycle messed up for 4 months

Wonderful. I simply don't have to think about my period anymore I get a mess that's tells me when to take the out and when to put it in it's simply wonderful. Thank you so much for app

Alerts stopped coming in. The app worked great until sometime last year when it just stopped giving me alerts that it was time to take the ring out. I’ve tried checking all the notification settings on both my phone and the app, and I reset it a couple months ago. Didn’t make difference.

Continually Notifying on Wrong Date. This app has started notifying me to take out/put in my ring on the incorrect date. The reason I purchased this app was specifically for CORRECT reminders. YOU HAD ONE JOB.

Was perfect.. This app used to be great. I purchased it a few years ago and it was a savior when it came to reminding me each month. Lately my reminders don’t pop up as they should and because I rely on it, it’s messed my cycles up pretty bad the last few months. I ended up having to set reminders myself in my calendar. Ive tried to reset it and the same thing happens. This should be looked into.

what’s wrong with this app. this app used to be awesome. now it’s full of glitches. i can’t see the days of the week to update my details. disaster!! someone look into this!!

Loveee. So i genuinely love this app!! i just recently got my ring and this helps me to remember when to take it out and do a new one :D i also have very bad memory so i highly recommend this one! and the subscription is only 99¢.. a month i mean plus tax..? but its so doable

Trash. The reminder popped up in the morning, and I do changes in the evening. I forgot, and when I tried to change the calendar to show I inserted on a different day, there was no option to change it. On top of that, the ads have sound and are loud and you cannot turn it off. Nowhere near discrete. I am deleting this app.

Average. Works well, you get an alert when t remove/insert but I'm not a huge fan of the setup. I would prefer seeing a calendar of each month with diff color coded days showing when it's in vs out (other app I used had this but it's not available anymore)

this is great. I was really nervous to start the actual nuvaring mainly because I've never in my life taken birth control before. And trust me ask ANYONE that knows me, they will say I forget things and that I lose things. So when I found out about the NuvaRing and not having to take the pill everyday I was ecstatic! Now, not only do I get to leave the ring in, I have an app that sends a notification to my lock screen that I have to insert or take out my ring. The literal ONLY thing I wish it had was a notification to take it out or put it in prior to when I actually have to. Meaning that I could have a notification a day before I have to take it out or put it in and then the next day an hour or two before I have to take it out or put it in. I love it though, I'm so glad there's an app for my birth control seriously technologies amazing

Reminders messed up. This app has been consistent with reminding me exactly when to take my ring out but for whatever reason this month it incorrectly reminded me 2 weeks before my ring needed to come out to take it out. I opened the app and everything in there with dates and my settings were right, just the notification was wrong. Then this week I had to manually check when to take my ring out and I took it out two days later than I was supposed to because I had to keep checking manually and I forgot the day of. No use of this app if the reminders are wrong.

Send Alerts. It only works if it sends you alerts, which the app has stopped doing for the last couple of months.

Suggested Change to the App. I love this app. However I accidentally logged the wrong date for the removal of my ring. Now I am off track on the calendar; I still take it out on the correct date. The app should allow you to correct the date in case of an error in logging.

User Friendly. Best app I've used for this purpose. Usually spot on the dates. Very user friendly.

Listen to your users.. If the app could look like a regular calendar , starting the week with Sunday-Saturday and not Monday-Sunday, it would look less confusing when using it. And give users the option to be able to change all the color options in the calendar to better suit our preference. We did buy the app after all. I’d love to give a better review if these options were given to us.

seems fine until you accidentally put in the wrong date. i haven’t even put in my first ring yet, but i put in the wrong date to insert it and it would NOT let me change it. i even tried deleting the app but it still held onto the wrong information. i searched everywhere and i couldn’t figure out how to change the date i insert the ring. very frustrating and made me have to install a different app.

Doesn’t notify you. Even with updating the app to ‘address this issue’, I’m still not getting notifications, which is the whole point of this app and pretty freaking important given the purpose of the notifications!!! Deleting and using another app.

Worked great for a short time. This app was working well, but recently something changed. I need to be able to change my cycles between 3 weeks to 3 weeks and a break week, since I don’t keep a set schedule. There used to be an option but it doesn’t come up for me anymore. Its the one thing almost no app can seem to get right :-(

I like it, but it’s got bugs.. I’ve been using this app for over a year. The one big issue I’ve found is that it sends ring remove/insert notifications at the wrong times. This last cycle it sent it the day before, and I didn’t realize, removing my ring. It has also sent them when I still have 17+ days before removal. It’s annoying to have to double check the reminders.

Used to be good. Awful paywalls now. Literally just use your own calendar now. I used to use this app, but switched birth control a few years ago and didn’t need it anymore. I re-downloaded and it’s SO confusing to use. Multiple colors on the calendar to indicate ring in, a countdown to taking the ring out, ring out days, etc. The legend for the calendar is on a different page. The wording is confusing too and messed up my schedule. The opposite of what you want for birth control.

Very helpful. I love this app because I generally forget I even have my ring in, my only problem with this is my periods aren’t always consistent and it doesn’t have a missed period option and changing the dates for “ring in/out” don’t always sync up right.

Push notifications are a failure. I pay for this app for the sole purpose of receiving notifications of the proper time to remove and insert my nuvaring. When I launch the app, it will reveal the appropriate timing for these actions, put the push notifications are way off! I got a random push notification before I was supposed to remove saying it was time, and I blindly followed the suggestion because I trusted the app; what a mess! Recently, I just haven’t gotten any push notifications at all. This completely defeats the purpose of the application for me, I’m so upset that I spent really money on this poorly developed application. Don’t rely on this if you care about not getting pregnant!

Used to be great. This app has become in usable. My ring was set to be removed and I didn’t get a notification and so it was removed two days late and when trying to adjust the calendar for the new removal date it decided I put a new ring in and it won’t adjust the date! It’s awful. Go back a few editions

Unreliable.. Will not update new ring insert date, so all the days are off. The colors I chose are not the colors being used to indicate when the ring is inserted and removed. Very unreliable and a waste of money.

Something to change. Excellent app, but the only thing is that the little i (information in the right corner) is not in the right language and there is no way to change it!

The date format. I wish the date format could be changed to MM/DD/YYYY. Otherwise, the app serves its purpose! I appreciate the ability to track my ring because I would definitely forget.

Pretty good. It does the job, but it would be great if it had some type of update and it allowed you to add moods, symptoms, etc.

Nuvaring. Loved this app and the tracking days for your ring inserts. I happen to hate the nuvaring itself considering I got pregnant on it, didn't know and had a miscarriage. So this isn't as effective as people say!😥

Easy. Very straightforward directions. Simple to set reminder. Does what it is supposed to do. Love that it was free.

Not an accurate calendar. This calendar has really screwed with me. Constantly it alerts me either 2 days after or 2 days before the actual date. As a result, my own schedule has been ruined. This app is supposed to assist in accurately recording your cycles perfectly. Inaccuracy is not acceptable. I'd advise you to ditch this and try another. It's not worth it.

SUPER helpful!!. So freaking helpful. I never forget when to remove my ring or put a new one in! It also keeps track of when your periods are... great for doctors visits!

It does the job !!!. I would like the layout of the app to be a little more update and to have options to make changes. You're not able to do much with the app. It would be great if it was similar to menstrual trackers where you're able to add comments, moods and symptoms through out the month just to keep a record of how you feed while on birth control.

Works but bad layout and UX. Calendar starts on Monday and doesn't let you adjust. That alone is confusing and annoying enough not to use the app. It's like a time-telling app that uses 24-hour (european or military time) for North Americans --big miss, designer! Also, the calendar is grammatically incorrect -- you don't put a comma between a word and a number (ex: February, 2016). That makes no sense. Commas in dates separate numerals so you're not looking at one long number. The set up needs to be improved. Lacking common sense and comfortable UX.

AMAZING. I forget everything but this makes sure I know exactly when to put it in and take it out. It's also not very bold in my phone so people don't question the app!

I hate this app. This app provides no flexibility if you happened to not want to get your period one month or if you've been instructed to use Nuvaring to only get your period 3-4 times a year because of pmdd. There's a minimum mandatory waiting period of 2 days to keep it out and replace it and its default setting is to stay constant from month to month unless you change all of the settings and start over. There's no variety and it's fairly not user friendly. It's probably a great program for someone who is very regular. This app does not stop to consider that there is more than one way to use Nuvaring. It's definitely not worth the money in my opinion.

Best there is. I've used several different apps to track birth control and this is the best one to track the nuvaring

Good. I like the app, however I don't like that I can't set the break to 0 it only is 2 and up. Other than that great.

It did not remind me to put a new ring in!. Even though I had the notifications on and set everything right, it did not remind me to put my ring back in. In fact, when I looked in the app by chance, I noticed that it basically "assumed" that I have already put in a new ring. Super useless! I do not recommend this app at all!

Not consistent with Nuva Ring instructions. The reminders are not consistent with specific Nuva ring instructions to remove and insert the ring on the SAME DAY of the week.

Does the job. I've tried several of these reminder apps for using nuvaring and so far this is the best one I've tried. I wish the app had more features but other then that I like it.

SO HELPFUL. I recommend this app for anyone with the Nuva Ring. It keeps me perfectly on schedule. I love the way it is set up, the homepage is a countdown and then there is a calendar to see the bigger picture.

Just ok. This app was pretty decent for a while. Unfortunately, now it alerts me of removal/insertion dates incorrectly. The notice will pop up on my phone, I'll do as instructed, and then when I open the app it's not the correct day to do what it said. It's totally screwed up two months in a row.

Essential if you're on the NuvaRing. I rarely buy apps, but this one was worth it!!! It does exactly what is says, is user-friendly, and works without issue. This app is a must if you're on the ring!

Straightforward but little customization. It does what it says on the box - a daily countdown to when you need to take out/put in the ring. It gives you a little message when the time comes. You can pick how long you want to keep the ring out, but the option is for anywhere from 3-7 days. It doesn't allow you to select zero, which is a bummer because there are a lot of women (myself included) who only take it out for a week a couple times a year. I wish they'd add that option. That's really the only thing it's missing.

Trash. This app is an absolute trash. Don't waste your time or money. It would not let me set or re-set the date thus being useless. Very disappointing.
