Needs a few tweaks!. A decent photo editing app, however it could use some updates on maneuvering between filters and overlays. Would love to see a section specific to the symbols without having to adjust the pre-made options.

Don't buy. Awful. Crashes when I try to load a picture in, and keeps crashing when I try to do anything.

Uptown & Co. Unless I'm missing something, just a bunch of boring filters, which can be found in hundreds of other apps. Not worth taking up space on my iPad. Deleting.

I love the app. I'd like to be able to choose the font I want. And when you save pics they're grainy. I really hate it, screenshots are better than the saved ones.

Not working. I am not able to work with pictures that are stored in my gallery, it’ll only allow pictures taken with the iPad camera. Are they’re any fixes to this? I haven’t been able to use the app since I’ve purchased.

Great except.... The app itself is fun to use and beautiful. Only problem is every time I export the photo, the "logo" I create is tiny and up in the top left corner every time. No matter how I make it, it ends up in the same place. Without being able to export your designed photo, the app is pointless. 😵

Good app but needs work. Whenever I save to photos the word spacing changes, I've been having to screen shot it and cropping to make it look like it should. 5 stars if this is fixed

best editing app. I've a huge photographer geek!! I love editing pictures and taking tumblr pictures everyday for anything! I'm currently using vsco but I needed an app to do more and Uptown & Co does it for me!!! it has so many editing tools and it's such an awesome app:))

Absolute Junk. Unable to open photos from gallery without crashing. The app 1967-from the same creators of this app, experiences the same problem. Absolute disgrace as I paid for both and there looks to be no support for either app at this point. Do not download.

How can I be refunded. I just purchased this app but it crashes every. single. time I try to choose a photo from my camera roll. I don’t even know if the app or any of the filters are good because it doesn’t work. Can I please have my money back? (And I have the most recent software update downloaded, and a new iPhone 8+ I just got a month ago, so this isn’t an issue with my phone...)

Ridiculous. Disappointed to buy an app that loads then crashes when you load a picture. Tried 100 different things to try and get it to work. Emailed the developers, no reply. Highly disappointed.

Nice interface and stuff but.... Although it's simplistic, and easy to use... It's not worth it because you could easily re-create any of this stuff on apps with more options and filters. I'm sorry. If I could add a piece of advice it would definitely be to add "words" under the buttons that do things and stuff. I totally am not trying to be mean. Thanks for the experience...

App keeps crashing. I feel like it’s has the potential to be a really great app but it keeps crashing it won’t even let me load a picture. It’s super annoying and I hope y’all fix this

Annoyed. Every single app by this developer on ALL my devices crashes every time I click on a photo to edit. I can’t test any of the filters because I can’t get passed that point. Instead of focusing on how the app looks, focus on its functionality. I paid money for this app, I want a refund immediately.

I am not one of the friends dropping 5 stars. Another fine example of millennial programming excellence. The redefinition of many core utilities in iOS is nausiating and creates a negative user experience. So "hip" it is broken. The crop feature dod not work when saving to gallery, so bad. Fixed now, but clearly there was no testing. To claim the programmers are ignorant is an insult to ignorant people. Share to instagram claims I do not have the app and instead of opening the app store the airdrop modal is tucked under an incorrect error message. Who ever these programmers are, fire them. Then delete your repo, then go back to General Assembly where you clearly fell asleep in class, and then, ideally, find a new career. I suggest barista.

Bravo!!! For Typography and Graphic Design Artists. Such an incredible thoughtful app. Just like all photo apps it will keep evolving through time. It's true, typography templates are amazing: sharp and crisp typography and logos. The bad though is there are still some glitches, sometimes exporting a photo with text will not look like final layout. It pushes the text to top left hand corner. Fix asap

Good. I really like this app, although when you want to copy it to instagram it says you need to install the app but press cancel then press copy to instagram.

I am a barber to watermark start work every single day with this app. I love the different styles that has the for the watermark and that you can customize it and make your own and people will recognize your work because of this app. I’ve had a lot of people come in and ask me which app that I use for watermarking and I think that this is the greatest app I’ve ever owned. Dude.. This app rocks. Simple and fun to use. And the results are awesome. Love it so far!

Sporadic. Most of the time the app crashes when I try to pull in a picture from my gallery/camera roll. I tried deleting the app and re-downloading it. I turn my phone off and try again. No luck. In the rare moment that the app functions, I’m able to make some cool looking things. I wish the control of the tools was more precise.

Less is more!. This is my go to app for covers for artists, social media, profiles, singles, articles....the simple easy layouts make it nice with out over doing your artwork!

I’m upset.. It’s unclear what all the buttons do. You if you hit the back button it stars over. If you click on a photo in the cloud the app crashes. Poor app. Wish I didn’t pay for it.

Awesome filter & overlay app. I only bought this app today, but I absolutely love it. Great text overlays, some really nice filters, an a quirky, fun interface - with the added bonus of Roman numerals. I love it! At AU$2.99, it's an absolute bargain.

Can't do anything. I tried everything I can do to make my photo nice and then when I saved it to my gallery... It just saved the original picture and not the edited one.

Bug. J’adorais cette application, mais depuis la nouvelle mise à jour du iPhone pour la version 11 je n’arrive même plus à l’ouvrir j’ai essayé de la supprimer et de la remettre. Malheureusement cela n’a rien changer et je suis très déçu.

LOOKS COOL BUT NOT SO COOL. I just bought this app got along great in the beginning but when I export the finished product the text/logo always ends up uncentered in the top left area of the screen... so what's the point of all that work?!?! Also annoying is that YOU HAVE TO put one of those clip art images in ALL the templates available; you can't just put text on an image. And in the description it said it was FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE!! Not so, pal!!! Grrrr.... I want my money back!!

Easy and lovely. I love using this app to give my photos a professional and fun feel. Everything you'd want and then some. I use this everything.

Not as it seems. You can only customize one line of the logos, so, that part is pretty much useless unless you want their name in everything you do. And if you're not going to use the logo part why would you even have this app? Refund please.

New favorite editing app. I was looking for an alternative to VSCO Cam after the most recent update since I just didn't like how it changed, then I found this app. Sure, it costs $2, but for $2 you get 80+ filters-no strings attached, which is something VSCO Cam could not offer.

Good app. Good app. Good filters and tools. The only thing I don't care much for is the logos are not fully editable because the app name stays in the logo and you can't edit or remove it.

Great app. This app is awesome it's had an amazing simple design n it was really easy to use ,it got some great filters it's just what I needed .

Trouble saving your final arts. The app has amazing designs but when you save the picture, it only saves the Background you used, not the letters or the designs you add to it

Work, work, work, work, work, work. So far it's a good app, I love being on this app but every time I set the place description and save it. It moves to a random spot on the photo. Glitchy isn't cool.

Worthless. The photo app is terrible. I feel that I wasted $2 on a crappy app. It doesn't save anything correctly, misplaces the logo or doesn't even apply it to the saved image. Does not apply the crop either, also if you try to export to IG, it tells you that you'll first need to install IG even know I already do have it. Any chance of a refund?

Disappointed!. i thought this app has a really special and new film filters! but it turned out to have the same exact filters that are in the 1967 app! the only cool thing is the changeable templates!

Crashes on my 6 Plus. The app is really cool, nice filters and gives you a great amount of tools to edit your pictures with but for me right when I click the upload/save button it just crashes erasing the picture I just edited. I would really love it to be fixed because otherwise this is a great app.

Nope!. When I pay for an app I expect the design specs to be fully changeable. There are great fonts and great logo designs but you can only change one line of the text. Not every company was established in 1967.

Some bugs to work out. I'm having the same problem where the photo stays the same but the filters and text aren't added when saved. Close the app and restart seems to work sometimes. Another issue comes with selecting some images the app flips the image. I then have to go into my photos and rotate the image 360degrees and then the app recognizes it and doesn't flip it. This app will be excellent and when it works I absolutely love it. Work these kinks out and I'd easily give it 5 stars.

Save your money. The text/image overlay is NOT fully editable. You are only able to one line within the logo box and replace one image within the box with a predefined selection. What you end up with is your image with text/image overlay that includes their company name and/or logo and often the year, 1967.

Don't waste your $. Not ready for prime time. Great concept. Crippled by bugs, the most annoying of which is that it rotates all your photos 90 degrees upon import. Hopefully they fix it. As is, it's fairly useless.

Doesn't work!!. I've been trying to edit the same image for about half an hour now and it will not save correctly to my phone. It won't even appear correctly in Instagram directly from the app. I'm going to screenshot it within the app and use it anyway, but that's pretty lame, guys. Bummed I spent money on this.

Excellent. This app has a simplistically beautiful design and great vintage filters. Fixed initial bug within 24 hours of my complaint.

Very Frustrating. Would be a very cool and useful app but even simplest task are impossible to execute . No instructions and what I thought would be a very simple and strait forward app to use is thus far only causing frustration and anger. Please correct.

Not bad but logos need to be more editable. I agree with the other reviewers. Nice app but the logos only let you change a couple elements. So instead of a photo looking like ones you took you are stuck with "Uptown & Co 1967" on every shot even with any modifications you can make.

Great app. This app is really good. I wide variety of unique filters makes this app so special for me! The interface of the app is crisp and clean with a modern outlook! If you are looking for an app to give your pictures that added extra touch I would hill recommend this one for you!

Good filters... but very bad everything else. The filters are very nice, but I've experienced many a bug on this app. If that wasn't enough, the interface is crap. Maybe they should think about adding words instead of weird symbols (e.g. an eye for filters and what looked like a feather for sharing)

Minor Fixes. This app is great! Has plenty of different filters, cool ways of adding personal touches to the design, etc. The only problem I've come across is when editing a photo that is horizontal and then saving it with a design, it corrects it so the design is not facing the correct way (in other words horizontally.) Kind of annoying when you have horizontal images! I hope this gets fixed!

.... Everything is good when I edit my picture on the app, but when I save the picture, the logo is in a completely different area than where I put it. I tried again with a different photo and logo, but it put the logo in the top left corner again. Please fix.

Big flaw. I just got this app and the potential looks good. Excited to try it more but as soon as I import a photo it immediately turns it 90 degrees and there's no way I can change this sideways picture. Please fix this ASAP!

Eh.. Confusing at first. Also didn't let me shrink signature down as far as I would like, but didn't matter because the app crashes if you try to save anything anyway.

guy this isn't all that great yet.... an open letter to the developers of this app: hey guys, i appreciate what you guys are doing. your app design is modern and forward thinking and creative with a dash of hipster thrown in. but there are broken elements to the design where the design of your app took a back seat to the function of the app. when i first select an image to edit, depending on the size of the image, there is a chance that the image will cover up the buttons to not crop the image. so if i try and edit an image that is vertical, i am forced to crop it even though i may not want to. so editing vertical pictures is out because vertical images cover up functional pieces of the app. telling me you didn't test this much when you made it. you made lots of filter though, i will give you that. lots and lots and lots. good. but the only way to distinguish them is a roman numeral. kinda hard to remember which is which. i can tell you did this to differentiate it from Instagram, and thats fine. but i can't remember which is which, what makes one different from another other than a number... i dunno maybe thats not so much a flaw in design as much as some people can't remember based on a number system. finally, the badges. good grief the badges. why should i apply one? there is no point. i may have done it if i could customize it to be what i want. but you made that impossible. almost all logos contain 3 or 4 items. a simple shape or line, a "company name", a year of establishment "est. 1967", the tagline "Uptown and Co." and a icon. the only thing that can be changed is the name and the icon. the only text i can change is "RoadRocks". but i couldn't change it to my company name, because that would be stupid, because i can't delete or change "uptown & co." or the establish year. why would i make a logo thats half my logo and half yours? and i wouldn't put my name. who would do that? i would get friends asking if my company is now called "Uptown & Co." and i would have to explain "no its this totally cool image editing app that won't let me delete that part of the badge for some reason. not really sure why..." i also wouldn't put anything else on there. and it seems you don't use it much either! there is another button on the home screen labelled "tribe", which takes you to your Instagram page. as of the writing of this open letter to you, it is empty. not a single example photo has been posted. now i would figure that you are waiting to see people post pictures with your hashtag which is your cue to copy and paste those images into your feed, but you haven't posted anything? why should i follow you? guys i would post at least SOMETHING. 5 or 10 pictures at least, just to show you are actually there. it just sort of tells me that your app isn't vibing with people yet. you tried to set this app apart with a cool design and badges. but all of these forms get completely in my way of the function of your app. i'm sorry guys, its just not very good right now; and you may need to go back to the drawing board and try again. if the badges had been more customizable, if the buttons wouldn't become broken when i used a vertical image, you would get a far more favorable review from me i think. but as it stands its kind of like a advertisement for you by asking me to put your unchangeable badges on my pictures more than it is a tool for image editing for me. if i look at companies like VSCO, they seem to trust that people will use hashtags to tell people how they made their image. other apps may have their company watermark you can pay to have removed. but for your app, its just stuck that way. it will say "Uptown & Co." no matter what i do. i'm not sure why either, these badges are completely generic. don't take that as an insult, they are beautiful! but they look identical to the logos of a lot of famous companies. in conclusion, thank you. but for a paid app, i would expect more...

Buggy with potential. Things worked ok in the beginning but suddenly pulling in photos from the camera roll causes it to show up rotated 90 degrees. Tried adding insignias and rotating them to match but exporting when exporting the finished photo the insignias are all out of place. App randomly saves unedited copies of the original photo to the camera roll. Tried to email the developer with the bugs but the email bounced back. Once the issues are worked out it has the potential to be a great app.

Very nice filters but UI needs work.. I love the way everything is laid out and the filters themselves. I do think it would be easier if the buttons were a different color or at least a lighter gray or something to indicate they are buttons. Everything is black and white which may be aesthetically pleasing but for ease of use purposes, I believe it would help greatly.

Great app but.... I love the concept of this app and the designs you can make. The only thing is when I save a picture to my camera roll, my logo appears small in the top left corner instead of the center...am I doing something wrong? That's really the only issue I see
