Issue with exporting to pdf. It crashing when I try to export to pdfie. Despite that it is very good app.

Lost all entries. Good app but horrible iCloud syncing. Lost all my entries because I started on iPad and later downloaded the app on my iPhone. My empty entries from my iPhone overwrote all my entries on my iPad.

Bare bones and love it. The best apps are intuitive and do their job as simple as possible without resistance. Never thought I'd be the kind of person to write a journal. Other apps are kind of overwhelming with such unnecessary features. Hashtags, goe-tags, calendars, maps, photo albums... yuck! DayGram lets you get your thoughts out as efficiently as possible. It's easy and I'd love to support future development of such a great app. It's also awesome that there are no IAPs or ads.

Exactly what i wanted. I wish there would be a Mac version. And maybe make the time tag a time tag instead of plain text.

Needs to be easier to switch between days. It’s too annoying to switch between days...adding a swipe option would be great. I don’t have time to mess with difficult interface, though, so I deleted it. It’s a bit like a 60 year old designed it...

Love the app.. I use this app every day to remember the entire day and make sure it’s not forgotten. The style of the app is really excellent and this is the best journal app on the AppStore.

Simple and easy to use. DayGram has all of the features I need right now to keep me on track with my daybook. I usually journal in a physical book in the evening and DayGram helps me make short entries. I’ve found that I’ve been using it more often than my physical daybook since I have access to it all day long. Its user interface is beautiful and clean; it’s a joy to use.

How to change language. I mistakenly choose a American edition .in fact ,I am a Chinese user

Was great. The last update killed this app. All I get now is a blank screen.

It looks and feels great. Good bargain to get one dot diary with Dropbox sync and maybe iCloud sync works too I’m not sure. Anyway right now is perfect and I use my photo of comic sky and cloud and border E, just matching so perfectly.

Great app with major bugs?. When I'm done editing and press done button, it does not take me to the list view. Ohh! So to go back to list view, you need to tap the almost invisible little square at the bottom! You should definitely put this in the how-to!

Amazing. Some of the buttons are virtually invisible. This needs to change but other than that, I am loving how you can log things so easily and view them as one continuous scrolling view if you like. You are also able to export your diary entries and that is awesome as well.

You need this app. It's built really well. This digital diary is fantastic. It's built so well and is so easy to use I don't know why anyone would want something complicated and bulky. This app loads up quick, is simple to use, and has a great interface for writing in your digital diary. It's easy to add to the day and the app even has a timestamp button should you feel the need to mark the time of your diary entry.

DayGram is Simply Fantastic. After using a majority of the various journals available for iOS, I’m super impressed with DayGram. Very well thought out, it’s clean design and bug free operation are but two highlights of this outstanding app. The fast convenient date stamp is an essential part of what makes this my favorite journal app of all. Devoid of clutter and distractions DayGram is a delight to use. I highly recommend it.

App pops out. I have iphone 13 pro max and the app pops out whenever I tap on it, I cannot use it. I would be pleased if the developer could shed more light on this glitch unless since I cannot you it, I have got to delete the app for good. Thank you

Disappointed.... I really liked this beautiful little app. It was so perfect for my needs..a place to write just a few lines every night before bed. Simple, minimalistic design was utterly charming. It was the exactly-right journal I’d always been searching for. I wrote happily in it for several weeks ... and then came the update, after which, to my horror, EVERYTHING I had written was gone. Unfortunately, I had not yet backed it up because it was still so new... and my words were not retrievable. I am so disappointed that I’ve deleted it from my iPhone. I am afraid to trust it now and will have to continue looking for that perfect app. Call me sad! 😞

Lots of bugs, but not subscription!. This app has a lot of bugs in it, none of which are “fatal” (i.e. no data loss yet) and most deal with the UI being weird on an iPad Pro. But hey, its a once-price journal instead of those subscription models.

Been using it since 2016. I love this app. It helps me place memories that would otherwise be forgotten. A quick search helps me remember when something happened, then I can go back through my photos and find them too using the dates and times. Lovely, minimalistic and helps me see at a glance just how much my life and I have changed.

Super simple and easy to use. Simple minimalist interface makes it easy to write down the day's happenings without any fuss. The little features like reminders, export to PDF, and adding a photo to your entry are a nice touch as well.

Worked for one day. This app worked for a day and now every time I open it it’s just a blank screen and doesn’t do anything. Update.... had to uninstall and reinstall and it works so far.

Please please please fix the crash!. I have been writing about this problem for some time now. I have been using this app for years (since 2018). It crashes every single time I try to do a search. Certain letter combinations will crash it when searching. There are only a few that won’t. It was updated 3 weeks ago but it isn’t fixed. It crashes on my iPhone 13 Pro. I tried it on my old iPad and it does the same thing so I know it’s not the new phone. I NEED this function because I use this ALL THE TIME! Are you seeing this review? Please help!

Okay ... Could be better!. Nice app, minimal features. It is okay, but could be much better ... themes aren’t very impressive or plentiful, not worth the cost!

Fantastic app for dairy. But still some suggestion. Pictures. Hope that multiple pics available. PDF. How about for a certain day and keep the layout of the app? I do want to share but if just plain pdf document, no.

Quick and simple journaling. Exactly what I need!. So easy to just not notes about the events of the day and how I felt about them. It's nice to search thru and find event for reference. It's quick and simple. Exactly what I needed.

Simple, lovely and powerful. I feel so in love with app, because I wanted to write some lines while I am in a very difficult personal process, so then I could either write a book and get famous, or just read and remember how things were on tough days. Using the phone and a couple of minutes of your day, you can have a log of your life, or any other aspect. Daygram does it on a very simple but agile way. I would like to see dropbox integration, but is nothing that affects this app awesomeness.

Can it be exported monthly?. Export only so for yearly or as a whole, that’s too much for review and not so convenient. Also, can the picture be colorful? Don’t know why they have to be black and white. ; (

Oh the clean simplicity of this app!. Since we started quarantining because of Covid, the calendar just didn’t cut it anymore and I wanted to record the simple things in a quick format. Diagram is quick, easy and I can put one of my visual journaling elements on it, whether it’s what we had for dinner or what people are doing around us.

Loved until recent update. I have been using this app for over a year now and I initially loved it. It is so simple and easy to use. I love how I can easier go back and view my days and see snapshots into how my day went. It’s also helpful when looking back on when you did certain appointments and stuff if you log them. I often post picture with my entries and frequent back up my entries to the iCloud (just in case). The app went through a recent update and when I updated it on my device it deleted ALL of my pictures off my entries! 😣😳😠 I now only have the words to which has been aoooo frustrating. Hoping I can find a fix to this.

Beautiful Minimalism. There is an elegance to DayGram. It allows me to have the timeline benefits of a "journal" without running into a plethora of interface distractions. It can be backed up via iCloud and Dropbox. Journal apps blare with statistics; how many entries, how many today, options to add hash tags, share to social media, add photos. I don't need all that. With DayGram I get a date stamp, a time stamp option and a blank page, thank you. DayGram lends to writing minimalism—often a simple snapshot of the day or an event, but longer entries are just fine. In the rare case an image is desired, the option sits innocuously at the bottom right of the page as an almost invisible icon. --- The two things DayGram lacks are a "dark mode" for nighttime writing and, at least, a couple more font options. I'd pay to have these options added. The holy grail, personally, would be the option to add a custom font. --- In terms of the In-App purchase: I would point out that almost no one wants "themes" that involve generic stock photography backgrounds. That may have been true 5 or 6 years ago. Now most people prefer to add their own image—if they even want one BEHIND their writing. This strange option is the only place DayGram really goes off the rails of its elegant minimalism.

Still can be better. This is more practical than conventional paper diaries, just because you can find and access to all your notes in a timeline, place time stamps automatically, and it keeps it very simple. But it would really make it better than using conventional diaries if we could attach images to our entries, maybe voice notes... Those are a big plus that really changes the game and would take conventional diaries users to using this app in my opinion. This is the only app that I’ve used and haven’t deleted it because it’s overcharged, good point for you guys, but the feature of adding pictures or voice notes wouldn’t necessarily ruin your minimalist style and I find that it is actually useful.

Finally found what I was looking for!!. I’ve tried every app out there to keep a daily log/journal of what is going on in my life each day and to help me recall information from past days. I’ve bought apps that ended up being garbage. This app is the best, it has a minimalist feel to it and since I’ve downloaded it, I’ve actually wrote in it every single day since (two weeks). Other apps were to busy and this one is so easy to write a quick note here and there throughout the day! Love using it on my iPhone!!

Love it but the sync can be better. I love this app to my heart, simple and beautiful. However, I use both my phone and iPad to write dairies. The sync through iCloud can be improved, so that it will sync automatically every time I wrote something.

Please add Sans-Serif Support.. I like this app overall, after using this app for 4 years. The only thing I don't like about this app is that this app only supports serif font, and it seems like Times New Roman to me, the font I dislike.

I love this app!. I have been using this app regularly for several years. I love most things about it. This app has a clean elegant interface, and I love the ability to note the time of the entry by touching the inconspicuous clock that appears on the active page. I use the app to make notes through the day of activities including shopping and expenses. Journaling deep thoughts could be a quite lovely use, but for now I prefer quick notes including gym and workouts etc. I also use it as a gratitude journal. The search feature is quirky and seems to only work now for emojis. It is somewhat difficult to access. Larger black and white pictures can now be imported. I think a guide to using it would be helpful for newbies. I like the ability to password the journal although I haven't actually used it. Thank you Salty Crackers.

Sometimes less is better. I had plenty of other diary apss but the simplicity of this and the developer not collecting any information makes this a win win. It is my go to app now. I hope it has an export feature added so I can add it to my other apps and compare to where i was at one point in the past. Another thing is for this app to be a menu bar only item and then it would be perfect.

Very faint. The controls, that is! This makes using more difficult then it needs to be. As a new user so far I like.

Good but could be great. Love the simple sleek format. I think having a full picture that connects with the post is better than the limited one available presently. Also, I’d LOVE to have this printed. Is there a way I can do that or a way you could make it possible? I want to track my year of excitement from pregnancy to motherhood and be able to relive it and share it with my family and myself later.

Bug report. I really love this app and have been using it every day for 2 months. But yesterday our clocks changed because of daylight savings time and now the app won’t even open. It crashes every time. I don’t know if these things are related but I didnt have any problem until now.

great but.... great simple app but just when i fill in a week it crashes and keeps crashing, not useable.

Love everything but the time stamp. Military / 24-hr time isn’t an option that I can find, and that’s the only thing that bothers me. That picture headers don’t export doesn’t even phase me, because it’s not critical for my use of this app. But scanning down through time stamps written in the same day will always look like it’s going from 08:30 AM to 08:30 AM and it throws me off.

Daygram throughout the years. I’d been using daygram since 2015. Not on daily basis but I still have some stuff from back then. I think is a very simple daily log diary app that can be trusted. I also have it on my iPad as well.

So simple and so brilliant. I’ve been using this app for more than a year and I’m absolutely loving it. Granted I’m not always consistent with my entries but I get most days. It lets me look back on these little details I’ve written down from a year ago that I have totally forgotten now. Also I’m a graphic designer and can be super fussy with how text focused apps layout your content and the customisation that they give you really makes me feel like I’m storing my thoughts in a much more special away than just some random text in your notes app. LOVE guys 👏🏽

Habit Forming. Great simple app with a highly appealing interface and log of submissions. Has given me the nudge I've been looking for to start writing a diary.

Got me to start journaling. One of my best app purchases. The UI is just so nice and easy to use. You get a great sense of satisfaction after you write your entry for the day. Especially motivates you to fill in one of the dots with a new entry. Love the ability to lock it with FaceID. DayGram has actually got me into the habit of journaling. I was never able to keep it up before but now I’m into a rhythm. If I’m going to say one bad thing it’s the fact that you can only put one picture per entry. Having the ability to add more to an entry would be great. Apart from that I love it. I’m really glad the devs put this app at a very reasonable price and don’t charge a subscription.

Very nicely done.. This is one of the best diary apps (one of only two), that I have found on iTunes. It is well thought out and very easy to use. I only installed it today, so time will tell, but so far I very much like it especially since I can share with DropBox, etc.

Not happy. I have been using this app fir a long time but since this update it is terrible. Not much choice in font styles or sizes. I do not like the changes. I will use fir a few days but if no improvement I will delete and not recommend to anyone A sad Zoemay from Australia

Lost all my diaries. Everything is gone, including a full pandemic diary. I used this app for two years, got a new phone, and then POOF. Have tried to sync in every possible way, and even emailed devs a while ago for help. Nothing. Incredibly disappointing.

Doesn’t auto save. I’ve been using the app for about two weeks, and can’t count the number of times my hand has slipped as I’ve been writing and I’ve swiped accidentally into a different day. When I return to the current day, I’ve lost whole paragraphs of writing, which is incredibly frustrating.

Nice app but some issues with ipad. It’s a great looking simple app and I guess it could be because I’m using it on iPad but it’s buggy. Text keeps disappearing along with back button and need to go back and forth to be able to write. Especially when using Apple Pencil.

Slick app encourages journaling. The app asks you to write one line each day – that's easy! I can do that, and while I'm at it I might write a little more. Super slick and elegant interface. It also has a wealth of convenience features, like Touch ID, and some nice customizations. At the asking price of CAD $1.40, it's a steal of a deal. I was fortunate to get it at $free99 on account of appsgonefree – thanks! If you're even thinking about journaling, get this app! Looks good, I like it. One problem. This looks good, is clever and smooth. However it does not hyphenate words correctly and when it is displaying entries in the little boxes it is splitting words in the middle. So, fix the display of entries and get five stars

Not for me.... I was intrigued by the minimalist aesthetic so I held my breath and took the huge 99¢ gamble. The absence of the ability to change the font to something in keeping with the rest of the design is a deal breaker. Sorry.

Lean and to the point.. This is a well designed tool for journaling. No distractions or visual fluff in the layout (though options are available for a small cost). It only works in portrait view. This is a limitation that needs attention. The addition of landscape view would bring it up to 5 stars.

Easy and concise. I'm enjoying this app. Have it on my home screen as a reminder to jot thoughts/events on a daily basis and find it useful to look back when I'm struggling to remember sequence of events. Have not found an option for download and print of the journal-that would be a nice enhancement if the developer hasn't already got this on their radar.

Elegant Minimalism. This app is just beautiful, I love it. I have owned iDevices for several years now and this is the first journaling app I have actually been really impressed with. My only requests as an artist would be the ability to include images in my entries, and the ability to change the background color to something a little easier on the eyes than white. Otherwise it lacks for nothing in its simplicity.

Love the simplicity. The the clean layout and design is delightful. The concept of a line a day is attractive. It would be nice to have Dropbox support, which in my experience has been more reliable than iCloud. Markdown support would also be a welcome addition.

Constantly crashing. Wanted to love this app, great minimalistic endeavors throughout; but when I turned on all the features: iCloud, TouchID, etc., the app just stopped working. Will have my faith lingered in the develop team for a bit. Hope the bugs can be fixed soon.

Excellent. The only thing I would change is that I'd add bigger font options now that they've made the app universal. The print is tiny now, even at the largest settings.

Already love it.. I only wish words after a time stamp started capitalized.

Best Journaling App. I have been downloading and trying to use various journaling apps and this is the only one I have consistently used. The design is simple and beautiful. It makes journaling effortless. I love it.

It's great. Such a good journal. The layout, style and colors are phenomenal. Clean, profound navigation. I like the way that the text is displayed, no frills, makes journaling feel easy and welcoming instead of cumbersome and daunting. Highly recommended.

Cant read. I can't read text and the change text size does not work

Waste of time, routinely uses data. Better off with a note.. This could have been a good simple journal app. But what I find is that it continually loses days, not just once but many times, and is therefore utterly useless. You're better off creating a document in Pages or any other word processor with a paragraph for each day. There is nothing to recommend a journal that loses days this way. Removing.

LOVE IT. I actually use this app a lot, but i think i am using it in a different way, i keep this app as a work logs of whenever i leave the office and whats the reason for it. So when i leave my office i open the app and click on the "clock icon" and write my reason next to it, in the end of each month i print the list out as my overtime sheet, thank you guys for the multi tasking app!

Clean, intuitive, simple. A winner.. Privacy is a big plus, as is the seamless synch across iCloud. One suggestion: Font Size 1 through 5. Please make 5 much bigger. On a high res screen it's a challenge for this almost 70 year old. Nice work!

Great for capturing thoughts and dreams. I wake up in the morning and I can use the voice recognition function to just speak very is fragments of my dreams. This is so much better than trying to write it into a dream journal, for me. Is also great for capturing any other thoughts through the course of the day. Then all these things are searchable when I want to look back

Simplicity at its best. I have everything i need from this app. This app is straight to the point. No unnecessary gestures, tools or gimmicks that i dont use. Simple to use and it looks fantastic. Must have if youre into simplicity. Would like to have a widget but if not, it's still a great app.

Awesome, simple app. Easy to use. Great app! But, needs an attention on fixing the date! I think you guys missed that we had Feb 29th this year so all the date is off by one day right now.

Huge security bug!. Developers take notice! Many users enable fingerprint and passcode security for this app. After you open the application by using 3D-touch, it waits for you to scan your finger. But if you click cancel, rather than asking us for the passcode instead, it unlocks the application and all the data is not secure anymore! Please fix this bug asap. Other than this, this app is near perfect.

Love it! Need more dates.... I love this app so much! No pressure to add too much. It's the most consistently I've ever journaled in my whole life. The design really sets this app apart. I love how the photo preview is black and white and just a snippet. It really makes the entries look sexy. I reeeeeallly wish there were a way to add earlier dates, the calendar stops at 2010. I would like to be able to back-date entries, so unfortunately I have to start using another app. Hopefully an expanded calendar will be released in future updates so I can come back!

Very simple and neat.. I buy this app because my friend recommend it. Today is day one. It has simple diary functions and the interface is very simple and clean. I think it would be better if it has a searching option to find keywords in past records. I’ll update this review if I have other issues on this app.

The only diary app that I could get into. This is the only diary app that I could get into. The other apps I tried never really kept me but this one has a good layout and a simple concept. I find myself writing in there whenever I'm bored.

Absolutely fantastic journaling app. I very seldom write reviews but this app is a true gem. I know journaling is a great exercise for the mind and helpful for stress relief but it always felt like so much work. This app makes it extremely simple to just jot down some thoughts. The simple, minimalist style is very attractive and appealing. Very well done!

❤️ the themes. I got this app when it went free. I really like the app design; minimalist, clean and lovely. I decided to buy the themes since I want to support the developers. I thought they're just backgrounds that change but I was wrong. The themes don't hinder the minimal look of the app and are a pleasant to look. All I can ask for now is please add the themes more. 😃

DayGram. Wow! I took a chance and downloaded an App that is clean, easy to use and worth the payment. I am tired of forgetting when I bought something or fixed something around the house. Day 1. Day one of the app and it's looking good, really excited to use it for as long as possible

Simple and relaxing. This journaling app gives you the feel of a blogging app. This app is simple and beautiful. It displays all of your entries by the day and separately by the month. It even lets you search specific dates! I used to honestly get stressed and feel that I needed to write a lot, or just have trouble summarizing my days (because I forget the small details), but now writing down my thoughts and whats going on in my life has become a breeze. You hit the clock and it stamps the time and you jot down what you're doing at that time. Thank you for this beautifully crafted app.

Wasn't expecting to be this attached. Been using daily for almost 6 months now. The time stamp function reminds me so much of Twitter. Allowing me to make quick thoughts while still having a clean look. I think self reflection is pretty important and this diary style is great for those who like short informal writing. (like Twitter).
