Limited Scope. As a rhyming dictionary it could be adequate. Load times and searching for updates even when you don't want it to means you spend more time waiting for it to load. There are much better options.

I’m a Rapper. This was beyond worth any money, I’m Samad Savage and many say that i’m nice, this app definitely helped when I just couldn’t find the right word to fit.

Rhymes with "sit". Type "hear" and you don't get "fear," "near," "beer"... come on. My 8 year old nephew can come up with more rhymes than this app. Waste of four bucks.

Its.... There are things I like, like how rich the results are and how I can choose from a lot of different rhyme types. But it drives me crazy having to wait 5-6 seconds to scroll down. For the price I expected a more polished app.

Not good. It misses a lot of rhymes, not just some, but a lot. Which for a rhyming dictionary is pretty bad. The interface is also buggy. Many times I've had to restart the app because it wouldn't let me leave the "rhyme types" menu. Don't waste your time. Look elsewhere.

Missing rhymes. The dictionary only lists rhymes with the same number of syllables. For example, rhymes for "green" don't mention "between". Also some documentation would be appreciated. The fact that no previous reviews mention this obvious flaw makes me question their legitimacy.

A++. This app is worth the money I think. As someone who writes songs, it has been very helpful. I appreciate the differentiation between types of rhymes and the ease with which its settings can be operated.

Best app. I’ve used this app for several years, It’s the best rhyming app out there. I use it constantly to write poetry.

Help. When ever I access this app all I get is a screen says checking for updates and I never get past that screen.

Perfect time saver. I own Master Writer an while that program reigns supreme due to its connotation filters you have to use a computer and it can be very time consuming. This app is perfect for finding the perfect words and for accidentally stumbling on new ideas anywhere any time without flipping through pages. Use in conjunction with thesaurus and dictionary apps. Remember how writers block feels? I don’t.

Great App. I write poetry quite a lot and this app helps me very much. I would recommend it to anyone that sped time writing. Tremendous help.

Good app. I like this app and use it every day but I do wish that it was better suited to newer iOS updates. The last time any changes were made was 2 years ago. It doesn’t fit entirely in my screen and sometimes quits by itself. I still like the app and find it very useful.

Too many bogus rhymes. This no-frills app works, but too often includes nonexistent or inappropriate words in its lists of results. The kicker is that when you tap one of these words, the app says "Word not found." So why was it listed? For example, "slorc" is offerfed as a rhyme for "pork". Now, maybe it's referring to the Burmese "State Law and Order Restoration Council" (abolished in 1997, according to Google), but if so, it should have been capitalized. Or take "liem", which this app offers as a rhyme for "dream". Google says it's a Vietnamese name, but then it should be capitalized--and it is pronounced "lee am", so it's not a rhyme for "dream"! Or "diem", also purportedly a rhyme for "dream". If it's a Vietnamese name, it needs to be capitalized; if it's the Latin word for "day" (as in the phrase "carpe diem"), then it doesn't rhyme with "dream". The app is peppered with errors like these, making it an unreliable reference tool.

Five Star As It Shines My Pad. I've been writing poems and rap lyrics and this helps me a lot

Helps with song writing. I love this app. I use it while I’m writing songs and I can’t think of another word that I can use as a rhyme. It has helped pulled me out of writers block multiple times.

For poets, NOT songwriters. It's great to have a hand held rhyming dictionary for when we write. However, this application is rather limited in this sense. As a songwriter, I care about the sonic experience of rhymes. I look at perfect rhymes to provide resolution and family rhymes to build up tension (as well as non rhyming and other techniques). Except for perfect rhymes (and there are some issues with these as well), the rhyming doesn't fit the art of songwriting. Half rhymes have nothing to do with the original word (they aren't family rhymes, nor additive or subtractive rhymes) and the rhyming algorithm might great for written poetry (the rhyming fits the last consonant, not the vowel).

Half Rhymes and Audio is awful. Containing the same letters doesn't make something rhyme, even half way. The audio sounds warped. A major waste of money. -5 stars.

Wack App - waste of $$. wack app and waste of $4. it gave me lots of words that didn't even rhyme. that's the only thing it should do and it didn't. limited selection of words. not that good. i'm an actual rapper and i'm thoroughly disappointed. B THA CHANGE 🎤📱

Excellent !!. Would highly recommend to anyone who's into rapping

Basic in design, but totally serviceable. I just got it, and so far it beats all the other rhyming dictionaries I've tried on iOS. I like the options for choosing types of rhyme schemes (perfect rhyme, half rhyme, vowel rhyme etc.) As a lyricist, it's an excellent, usable layout and its simplicity is a plus. Type in your word and get a nice long list of results. I haven't found anything missing yet. I hope to see an improved, perhaps better looking visual design in the future, but apart from that, this simple but functional app is worth it.

From a thankful writer. I love this app, it helps me write songs and poems. If I can’t find a word that rhymes with something, I just use this app, it has showed me so many rhyming words that I never knew about! Thank you for making this app.

Expanding my world!. This app is a game changer for me and may very well have a profound impact on my life. This is the ‘it’ rhyming app.

Last settings used, obscure words on top. Developer fixed a past issue in an odd way(the app updated through the app itself making the app dormant for hours) but I appreciate this! The annoying thing still is the rhyme options always default to perfect rhymes only. So every time I open the app I look up a rhyme and remember that I have to tick every option again. Make it so our last used settings stay. As a writer I use advanced rhymes all the time not just perfect rhymes. Another problem is obscure words rise to the top. Any way you can keep popular words on top and have them become more obscure as you scroll down?

Would not buy. A waste of money. That amount of rhymes is so limited!

The best rhyming dictionary. I used to look up rhymes on a paper dictionary but now with rhyme time it's so much faster to find what I need! Big plus for the offline mode!

Perfect. I write rhyming riddles for treasure hunts and Rhyme Time is a useful tool. There are so many more rhyming words I do not think of on my own. I highly recommend!

This app doesn't work as described. I'm disappointed with this app. It seems like a decent, simple rhyming tool but I haven't been able to get it to do anything more than spin it's grey loading wheel endlessly. I wish I could get a refund, or at the very least some support, but there isn't any way to contact the developer through their website either. I've received great support from developers for their $1 apps, and with Rhyme Time costing $4 I'm disappointed in it.

DONT SELL $4 APPS THAT AREN’T OPTIMIZED FOR THE NEW IPHONE. It’s frustrating because the functionality of the app doesn’t matter because on my iPhone XR it has the resolution of an iPhone 4, so I don’t even want to use it.

Very helpful for writing poetic verse. Love this app. Useful, quick and light. Very helpful.

Pretty Good. Offers helpful rhymes, though not as many as it could. It seems to dislike mixing short words with longer words even if they would make fine rhymes. But whatever, it's still helpful.

Needs work, wouldn't buy again. Some words that should be included- are not. You are still better off using free rhyme dictionaries on the internet.

Kind of annoying, and expensive considering it needs some work. Does the job but also is kind of annoying to use. Keeps refreshing to perfect rhymes when I scroll down and not showing me the next lot. 2.5 out of 5 stars from me - considering the price, app needs work.

My Review. I really enjoy using this app, and no I’m not paid to be saying this lol. I like writing poetry and having this app allows me to easily access words with the certain rhyme types that I need for said poem. So thanks Rhyme Time.

Unnecessary Trash. Rhymes are about as basic as a third graders vocabulary. I got billed 3.99 from the app...though it was free. Complete trash.
