No title. Honestly, I'm coming to realization that I hate this game! I hate these stupid butterflies, I hate when stuff moves by itself, I hate these jet streams that "eat" my gems instead of launching them! I hate these green special gems that are the most scarce, despite that other ones are called rare.. I hate how much time I spend playing it! I hate that this game burns through my phone battery so quick! I also hate these stupid riddles and not enough emojis to give the right answer half the time! I'm at 427th level now, I got at least ten of each super power and 4000 coins. 97% of all levels I pass with 3 stars and I don't like using super powers, except on some obnoxiously stupid ridiculous levels that are not possible to pass without some sort of power gem.. In conclusion, I'm gonna delete this game soon. Bye!

Fun at the beginning, but could become costly. I have been playing this game since January this year. At the beginning, it was really fun. Different levels provides different types of challenges. Although in general, it gets harder as you progress, the difficulty level varies. You might fail many times at one earlier level, and then ran through the next few levels with little effort. Always expect some surprises! Now that I am at about level eight-hundred-ish, it becomes clear that the developers just want your money. There are limited steps to clear triple and quadruple stones, crystals, vines, gravels. It is impossible to get through without multiple power-ups. Often you need coins too, especially when you need to collect butterflies - they never give you enough butterflies within the limit. Then, the stars! At first, you only need to earn 182 stars to complete a constellation and get 250 coins. Then you have to collect 210 stars to earn that. Now I am at a point I must collect 325 stars to just get a meager 133 coins. I bet the next step would be no more constellations! If you can’t earn coins from collecting stars, then you have to buy them at a crazy price. $2 just for 115 coins (5 extra steps in a level would cost you 50 coins!) $20 just for 1400 coins, and they are gone within a week.

Initially, it’s great but then.... I loved this game when I first started. But now that I have advanced further, they are not keeping the content updated to a degree that it prevents advancement. Sometimes, when they give you a side puzzle to work on so you can advance other ways, it is often just the same set they gave you two weeks before and they are impossible to finish, so you don’t get the reward. In other words, you still can’t advance without buying power-ups. Constellations haven’t been updated in months - a major way to earn coins without buying them. On other egg prizes, they are just really stingy with any good picks. It just becomes very boring when you have to play the same puzzle for weeks to get through it and the next one is just as impossible and there is nothing gained for even doing it. .

Bejeweled Stars continue to freeze IPad. This comes under Pop Cap, with ads from ADCOLONY, I have written to everyone on this asking why that something so simple as adding an “X” to the ADCOLONY ads where the ads finish playing you can get out of this ad, I have written to this review and you act as this is a joke, as you can tell I am very flustered and ADCOLONY has at least tried, or written me back and say they have programmers working on this, it did stop for a day or two, until I had An update for my IPad, I clicked update and guess what the same problem is back time after time after time again, I believe if your company, Pop Cap, and ADCOLONY, had a real programmer that knew how to add an “X” and end this once and for all, or does your company think people are idiots, I also looked carefully and there are no X X X X anywhere, the ads by ADCOLONY on other games sure have an X on them.

Freemium money scam; you've been warned.... No reason to restate the actual details of the greedy grind at play here since many reviewers have already thoroughly spelled it out. Basically, Electronic Arts (E.A.) took over the Bejewelled franchise from PopCap and spoiled the experience (unless you have money to burn and don't mind throwing it at unworthy developers). Also, note that at the higher game levels (~ in the 90s) E.A. becomes more commercially aggressive by including intrusive mandatory watch video splash screen ads that can't be immediately "x'd" closed!! I remember playing Pop Cap's classic version of Bejewelled on my Palm TX over a decade ago and after the one time purchase, it was ad-free and without IAPs - but that was before the money grubbers at E.A. took over a beautiful time-waster. It's still beautiful but now horribly polluted as described...Thanks for reading my rant it's worth the time even if just a few people will heed it. -Message for E.A. execs: Begin growing a corporate conscience by striking a better balance between out of control manipulative greed and a more reasonable revenue model - your mothers will be prouder of you and the rest of your families won't starve either!!!

Favorite Phone Game!. When I tell you, I LOVE THIS GAME. Usually I get bored of games easily because of too many ads or it not being great overall, but this game has kept me hooked and entertained endlessly. Not too bad when it comes to the ads, and seemingly unending levels. Very well made and fun and cute to boot! Highly recommend for something that helps pass the time. (Update: still don’t know how long I’ve had this game, I feel like a really long time at this point 😅 and I still love it. There are some levels that truly are very challenging - maddening sometimes even lol but it’s a game I always go back to. NOTE FOR DEVELOPER - I do wish there was a way to more easily navigate through past maps, instead of the way it is that only allows you to backtrack one map at a time).

Great game. Few ads. But recently crashes a lot! HELP!. I’ve been playing this game for a few years and love the challenges. It’s a bit difficult to figure out how your earned “powers” can help you navigate some of the games, but when you figure it out, it’s soooo much fun strategizing. There aren’t an over abundant amount of ads, which is refreshing, since many free games overdo it! However, most recently, I’ve found that it crashes a lot when I select to double my daily chicken winnings. I’m really unhappy with this, since I rely on the doublers to keep my bank of available gems in the positive. DEVELOPERS, PLEASE FIX THIS! I’m not having this problem with any other games or applications, so I’m assuming it’s not related to my device(s).

Stripped of Extras. There used to be a lot of nice details and extra stuff in this game that made it feel complete. It used to have dynamic shadows based on the tilt of the phone, the gems used to spin when selected, and the music that plays when you make or use special gems dont play anymore, heck even the day to night transition over the course of each move you made was removed. They stripped out so many great additions for the sake of adding new levels that are nothing more than rigged to make you spend cash. It’s just not the same as I used to be. The music and sound effects that were tied to said music being stripped and removed makes the game feel void and empty of the energy and the fun vibes it gave off. Such a shame a great game lost everything that made it charming. Unless they can prove me wrong by adding everything that was removed back in, I don’t see much enjoyment in this game anymore...

Update. Loved it at first. I used to play bejeweled classic and blitz all the time but moved on to other games for awhile and forgot about it. Then I discovered this one, and it’s fun! Update, eh. It’s very pretty and it was fun at first. But really, it’s too complicated. It does seem to be more about the power ups than simply matching gems. I don’t feel like going through all the, use these complicated recipes for power ups with sky gems, wait for a specific amount of time, then use the right ones in the right place at the right time. Then there’s all these other things, a chicken that lays eggs, a llama that asks questions, a chest that opens once a day, challenges that are basically impossible, and emojis you just use in the game, for what I don’t know, except to answer the llama’s questions. It’s ridiculous! I just want to match gems. I don’t want to think. That’s what I do at work. So, I’m bored of this game. Might go back to the classic. Or the blitz if it hasn’t gotten complicated too.

Pls Fix!!. 👎👎👎 Can you at least make it so users can have a music app open while we use this game!!! If I can’t listen to my music with this app open then I’m not using it!! & I’ve spent money multiple xs on this game, would consider spending more IF we were given a fair amount And could use music apps while we use it!!! Whoever runs this game is a completely greedy group of ppl!! Even when you pay Real money you get hardly anything in return!!! They are completely unfair with how many gems you can receive and the further you level up they just become more greedy, you need more & more special gem powers which cost a lot of gems & they take waaay too long to make even a single special power which makes the game pointless to play!! When you spend money on this game you’re immediately sad at the measly amount they give you!! This game is only fun with the beginning levels that don’t require a lot of special powers. Another really crappy thing is the Daily things, you receive the same emojis Over & over even after beating new levels and you almost never have the right emoji to answer the daily question! Even when you spend money to get different emoji boxes!! If I could rate the game negative I definitely would!! All based on the greediness of its owners. 👎👎👎

Candy crush plus ads. Despite the lies in the write up, this is NOT classic bejeweled. This is candy crush with a bejeweled wrapper. It’s Constantly pushing for boosters and such. There are a bunch of annoying daily riddles that you can only answer with emojis you don’t have and need to buy. The audio settings don’t work and even if you have it on mute all the ads and some random game sound effects will suddenly go off at full volume. And now they’ve added ads when you lose a life, ads when you win daily puzzles, and random ads with zero purpose or benefit to the user. Don’t waste your time. I’m deleting this trash. It’s too bad because this had the potential to be fun if they’d keep it simple and stop with the ads and gimmicks.

This game just is not fun anymore.. I’ve been very disappointed with this game for a while now. I’ve been playing for over a year and it’s gone from a cute game you can play in your free time to a drag that is mind-numbing. Plus, I can’t play my music while playing it anymore, as it cuts out exterior audio. They also don’t have any real prizes for their “constellation” thing anymore, so there is no incentive to gain stars from the levels anymore. I guarantee you, I did NOT need five more blue gems, thanks. Not do I ever need more “rare” orange gems. More than that, half the time the game decides to... not do the move I did?? It will completely ignore it and just move the waterfall or ice blocks on. AND, during their new challenge where you can get unlimited hearts, the game ignored the hundred of “mittens” I had won twice, then didn’t even give me my prize when I finally did get enough mittens. This app is taking up almost a whole GB of space on my phone and it’s just not worth it. I never mind spending money on a game that seems like it’s worth it, but this game has never really seemed worth the value of even a couple dollars and I would play it daily, which says something. The only reason I’ve played so long is I’m an obsessive person and hate quitting at something I’ve put time and effort into. But, I honestly think I might delete the app and get a better game or two, especially if the outside music keeps cutting out. It’s just not fun. Very disappointing.

Update the game. I’ve been playing this game since it came out, but now I have finally reached the point I don’t want to play it any more because 1) the constellations have not been updated in months, 2) I made it to level 687? and couldn’t get past it because there aren’t enough moves to kill all the stupid butterflies and turn half the board gold. I finally had enough jewels to make enough super powers to make it past this level; however, while making the super blaster I could not exit out of the add screen to gather the blaster. So needless to say I’m still stuck on the same level and lost the jewels/super powers for no advancement. Thank you, but no thank you. If you’re insisting people who play the game pay for more moves, longer time or more jewels then make it a fee game and don’t advertise it as a free game because it’s not at this point.

My love-hate obsession. This is the longest period of time ANY game has ever kept my interest. I love that it’s kinda a brain teaser. I’ve found myself getting so angry if I can’t solve a level for days (my longest losing streak is 6 days). I never write reviews! UNTIL I read a review written by William Stovall, titled My side love, & I too enjoy this game for hours on end. I found his review was so honest & sincere I felt the need to say THEY ARE FLIPPING ADORABLE! If I had all my 6 kids grown & it was just me & my husband, that’s what we would do! I too am a southerner (Alabama) & I think that sweet hard working man & wife deserves a gem special & I wish they would see my review & know...I just think they’re too cute! On a side note: Please keep making new levels as fast as you can cause I really get sad when I have no new ones to play ☹️😂 -Thanks, Athina D.

Too many ads - especially royal match. I’ve had this game for years, and have enjoyed it, it’s been the only one I’ve played consistently. I am very close to deleting it, I am so tired of the royal match ads. They happen very often and take 4 to 6 clicks to close. They just seem to take over your game for way too long. there are other ads too, but the Royal match ads probably are 90% of the game. And oddly, they say there are no ads in Royal match! It feels like such a scam! There have also been glitches that make you lose whatever level and rewards you’ve been working on. I am pretty much done. I hope the developer sees this review to hopefully improve it for the others.

Cool. I love this app I love this game I really do like it a lot but every time I reach a certain level which is what the first time beyond 560 for the game froze on me and then now I’m at 666 the game is frozen on me again but why why are you all at making me restart the whole game deleted to have to re-install it and start all over from the beginning I don’t understand what’s going on that’s not the storage on my phone I delete a bunch of apps on my phone to make space for the fall thinking that that’s what it is and I’m still not able to go back into the game where I left off at.I believe it is game three times because it keeps freezing on me every time I reach a certain level past 500

Disappointed. I have played this game for a long time. I’ve always enjoyed it. I still do. However, I do not get the event games until the day the event is ending anymore, if at all...and I finally got the new levels last Saturday (over a month after everyone else got the new levels) and today when I opened the app the new levels were gone. It just has too many glitches and is unreliable. I have deleted the app and reloaded it. I have logged on and off using Facebook I have tried everything and it just doesn’t work anymore. I’ll keep checking back because I really do love this game and I’ve played it for years. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Fun game always keeps me coming back. I LOVE this game. It’s about the only one I play. I previously beat all the levels and had to go back to try for 3 stars on each, until more levels were added. I also love the challenges that occasionally appear and would love to see more of those. The only thing that has not been updated in FOREVER is the star constellations. What’s the point in continuing to earn and bank stars from beating the levels if they don’t go towards anything? PLEASE update & add more of them!! It’s a great way to be able to earn more coins to purchase things. Thanks!

Be prepared to be frustrated. Was fun in the beginning, but once you get to the higher levels the game sequences crappy pieces to entice you use credits for extra moves or hope you use credits to buy more hearts if you are to impatient to wait. I have played a certain stage over and over that required to clear stones. I have noticed that even with one stone left to clear with more than 18 moves left, the game gives such crap pieces and positions them in such a way that you will not clear the stone. I have cleared every level with 3 stars up until this one. I have played this stage over 100 times and the most stars I can get is 2 stars. I am sure once I have played 100 times more, it will eventually figure out that I am not a sucker for throwing money to clear the stage, it will finally give me some good pieces. Game was good in the beginning, but finally figured out its BS strategy!

Pretty awesome. Bussin game. Love it. The levels are challenging & make me think. I’ve committed to having everything 3 starred, even though it’s harder, it’s a lot of fun. Definitely worth downloading, even if you only pick it up when you’re waiting or just sick of scrolling through social media. The only thing I would change & the only note I have for the creators: I would like to listen to music while I play. I most often play while I’m waiting on something or just listening to music on a commute. It’s super annoying when my music shuts off. Please patch that, I would enjoy the game MUCH more. Thanks :)

ALMOST perfect. I love this game. A few kinks though. If it freezes you’re stuck and lose a heart. Sometimes the ads freeze for you to get more on the eggs and then not only do you lose the egg but you lose them gems you were supposed to get. I’m getting a little bored without having anything to “work to” for example I finished the constellations so quickly! Even when they came out with the newest constellation expansion I basically had all the stars already. So I’m really only playing now for the new levels. Sometimes it’ll take me a week to beat. One section I beat in a day. I LOVE the once a month bonus gems that are items like snowmen, roses, bats, cakes and so on. The 10 days it’s active definitely keep me occupied.

My side love. To who ever wants too read I am a heavy equipment operator by trade and have been for over thirty years so I have played lots of games of different types. By far this would be witch number on my top ten list ? That's right it's number one on my top two the other eight I have no none not any love for. Now with that being said I have to say this as all of my work is caught up and even in between lifts that my job requires I probably play this game on average for a solid five too six hours a day . Now that my work day is over I've ate showered and shaved I am sitting and relaxing with my game as I'm writing this and will most likely play until midnight and right now it's only 7:30 pm at my home in Louisiana so now you add the two together and today I will probably have played a total of about ten hours just today I really enjoy my passion for this game an my wife well she also enjoys it just as much as I do. All six children are grown and gone and this is our relaxation every night of the week. My wife and I both enjoy this game so much we have hidden both of our vehicles behind our home and would not answer the door for anyone we've actually laid on our sofa together and played for sixteen hours at a time now that's love for our game Thanks The STOVALL FAMILY WILLIAM &Mary

Only game I play!. Absolutely true. This game is always challenging. I love that the different levels keep me interested and are not to difficult as to where I give up and forget about the game. The amount of time you have to wait for your new lives to be added is right on. The only thing in my opinion that needs changed is the riddle feature. Although you may know the answer you don’t have the emoji so you don’t get the credit for answering. It would be nice if there was access to an emoji stash where you could pick the right one. This is the only game I play and have for quite some time. I even catch myself thinking about it when I’m stuck on completing a challenge. This game is great when you have a few minutes to wait somewhere. Give it a try It will become the only game you play

Used to love it. I started out playing Bejeweled classic and then decided to give Stars a try last year during lockdown and I loved it. I have gotten pretty far along, but here lately it’s gotten very glitchy. Currently there isn’t another constellation for me to uncover so any stars I get are irrelevant. Different challenges vanish at times during play, like recently with Felis’s fantasy. It was there one time when I opened the app and gone the next, which meant I couldn’t keep playing. This morning it indicated the apple harvest challenge was starting, guess what, no apples on my board to collect. It’s a good game when it works and you actually get what you’re supposed to, but this app needs a big update soon. If it keeps being glitchy and doesn’t do what it says I’ll stop playing. Please fix it!

The Candy Game but Gems!. It’s a nice take to compete with the obvious mobile hit game in the market but it feels like this game was stuck in early to mid 2010’s. Needs to change resolution or textures from SD to HD/4k. Sometimes it feels slightly sluggish where it doesn’t feel like your touching the gems. Frames seem to be capped at 30fps which was good for the time but with screens going up to 120 hertz it’s time for an overhaul. It’s a good game overall especially with the lack of ads like the “Classic” Bejeweled however i’m inclined to say that it can’t possibly be called Bejeweled without the Classic mode! No narrator voice like the original and even their competitor game has voice responses when making a good move! One of the other things i see with this game is over complication. The UI needs to be reworked and optimized for newer devices. It may seem im bashing this game but it is fun especially if you’re trying to get your fixed on a Bejeweled game. If you’re new to the Franchise it seems unsurprising why not many stay on this game.

Orange gems are stupid..... Have been playing this game for awhile now and am at level 1100. Obviously I enjoy it or I wouldn’t be that far ( thus the 3 star review) but it has been getting more frustrating than fun lately. The problems include the fact that there are no more constellations to make so no more coins available unless you want to spend some of your hard earned $$$. Also, by the time you get to levels where I am playing there is no chance to move on without using powers that you have created over time in order to move to the next level—-or spend $$$ to make them. If you don’t want to spend your $$$ then this makes the game much slower and way more tedious— and frustrating. If the ultimate plan is to just start collecting $$$ from the people who have hung in this far and played to these levels then that is just insulting and feels dishonest. Really, you have a captive audience right now due to the quarantine nightmare and with that in mind you could at least make some sort of attempt to keep the game fair and not just a $$$ making machine. But then who am I kidding that is what this is! Oops....time to start shopping for something less frustrating and more rewarding to do I guess. I’ll be looking for some positive changes—soon—or adios.

Suggestion: Add a Skygem Shop. I’ve been playing this game for a while and I love it, but there is one thing I think should be added. There should be a shop section where you can buy/sell Skygems for coins. For example, if I have a lot of blue gems and need some extra coins I could sell the blue gems, or if I want some more purple gems and have enough money I could go to this shop and buy the gems I need. Also you could sell emojis that you have extras of if you get a repeat from a chest. Again, this is all just a suggestion and I think the game is amazing already, but adding a Skygem shop would make it even better!

My addiction. I really enjoy playing this game. The new levels and green apple challenge were released yesterday. I have been waiting what seems like forever for the constellations to catch up! I have spent quite a bit of money playing this game since it came out. I think it’s about time that the constellations are complete because I feel that those of us that are caught up and have been loyal players since the beginning are owed some gratitude. If I have to keep spending money, I’m going to have to quit. It is really getting quite expensive. This latest island is taking several coins and powers to complete the levels with 3 stars. I guess I’m just a little frustrated but I do love the game.

Great games, terrible ads. Ive always loved bejeweled, I’ve played the game since I was a child on a computer in the early 2000s so of course I love the mobile phone version too. But the ads are awful! Between the slow count downs of “5-6 seconds” and the impossibility to close them out leaving you to open app stores or websites or closing it out to get to another ad screen to wait for another count down is ridiculous. The app has other flaws that can be overlooked but the ads really ruin it for me. Regardless of that I still play and each level I play until I get all three stars, so I obviously have some type of fun on it… it’s just frustrating.

Great time spending game. I started with just a simple match-up game because a gatta game (money driven game) was making me bored and depressed. So I wanted to try a different genre to get me out of the loop. So I played this game for several months and now I’m addicted. This doesn’t pressure you to buy things (to a point), on power-ups and special gems and has different events every week unlike my previous game. You’ll need pattern recognition skill to advance further because it gets harder the more levels you pass, and other times it’s complete luck. It feels good to match a HyperCube next to CrossCube and setting it off; what am I talking about? You have play and find out. This game isn’t perfect but it’s still fun and progressive, I recommended playing this game for time wasting and a pattern challenge.

Sad goodbye. Bejeweled, then Bejeweled Stars, have been my friends for years, through illness, surgery, boredom, and rest from exciting adventures. Suddenly it got impossible for me. I've put some money in along the way for powers, but it would require hundreds of dollars to get the special stars to continue. I can't make them within the number of moves given, without just buying them, which isn't fun and I can't afford. This jump in difficulty happened suddenly, with only small rewards for whatever I manage to do. I've tried and failed to find another game I like as much but I'll have to keep looking. Thanks for the past good times. The game is brilliant but got too greedy. Bye.

Update was disappointing. The names of each individual games were removed, just leaving the numbers as labels & its hard to tell which game you’ll be playing until you open it & by that point if it was not the right game you wanted, you will lose a life heart just to close it. I have around 890 individual games in the levels now & its very hard to go find my favorites, which I used to know the names of. The levels continue to increase but the level star rewards do not, that ended & never updated as of a few years ago for me….once you reach the end of all the rewards that is. I do hate that I have to close out each commercial 3 to 5 times before it will actually close & that each time it has a 5 & 15 second countdown to wait to hit close again. But I know that is a frustration I am putting up with to play, it just cuts my play time very short since that started.

Lots going on so may seem overwhelming at first. Downloaded this many moons ago and I felt it was too complex for the kind of casual game I was looking for. Glad I gave it a 2nd chance as that complexity keeps things new and Interesting. If you’re out of lives there’s other things to check up on so the feeling of waiting isn’t so bad. Also the puzzles don’t get nearly as hard:seem more fair in progressive difficulty level than many match 3 type games. Developers have a great balance here of payment for their hard work without seeming exploitative of the gamer. I have paid for content but rarely felt there was no other way to progress, like in some other games (King games, e.g.)

More scamming more cheating.. Here we go another game that starts off amazingly fun and then once you get to the higher levels then boom virtually impossible to pass unless of course you’re ready to open your wallet. Time and time again these companies continue to rip off kids and people all the time trying to push their narrative that it’s a fun game with all their special graphics and stuff but deep down inside we all know it’s nothing more than another cash grab. I have been talking to the Better Business Bureau about multiple companies like this trying to get them shut down because all their entire existence is revolved around ripping people off. When you coded a game with specific algorithms to make sure you cannot pass levels and in order to pass those levels they force you to buy boosters that just means right there you’re never going to be able to win fairly without them dipping into your wallet. Kids especially need to be aware of this because they don’t understand and companies thrive off of children like that because they know it’s an easy quick buck, the more people we can get involved to get these companies shut down the better because honestly it’s technically called fraud which is against the law. This game literally gets -100 stars based on that.

Getting lazy. This was my favorite game of all time. Although I still play, I am so disappointed with the creators. The rewards you used to get from finishing levels (the STARS that are in the title) are not worth anything anymore as they have failed to make new constellations for their most loyal fans who have surpassed the last one. It has been over a year since they created a new constellation for the HUNDREDS of stars I have acquired since. The other rewards (like the orange gem that is supposed to be rare) are completely useless. After playing for years, reaching the top levels and waiting for new ones each month, and contacting EA about these seemingly lazy omissions from the original reward system, I am finally writing this review in hopes that someone gives us some incentive to keep playing before we all lose interest.

Excellent Appeal but.... I’m a long time Bejeweled fan before EA took over, I like the look of the game and the board designs to keep the player challenged but in some areas for casual players the boards feel too difficult encouraging micro transactions. It’s possible to beat the levels that feel too difficult if you have patience and luck but with strategy there’s only so much you can do when the board shifts on it’s own. I’ve managed to avoid buying currency in this game but the ads are annoying and what’s more annoying is they don’t give you the option to remove ads like in “Bejeweled 3”. I only recommend this game if your a long time fan like me who's bored enough to play a phone game and as for the micro transactions, I don’t approve of them but it’s the standard these days so what can ya do? Oh and remember newcomers, Hyper Cubes are your best friends!

I can’t believe all the 1 stars match my opinion. This game was created for one reason- to take money out of your pocket. Expect to spend $5 to $10 per level in the higher levels. The game WILL crash, and tech support will NOT care or offer you anything. Play King games instead! Less money needed, less crashing, friendly tech support who don’t act like you are reaching out for what the tech worker called “good will” or normally referred to as charity, when you just want to pass the level that you just paid for, only have it freeze the last moment before the progress is registered. Love it!. I have downloaded and played a ton of different games and this is the ONLY game (no lie) that I’ve continued to play and haven’t given up on. There are some things I would change such as the riddles. If I know the answer to the riddle, but don’t have the emoji for it, it’s kinda lame that I can’t get the extra win. But that’s nothing major to me and doesn’t stop me from playing. The only other thing I would change is, I would add more special event games where the more special gems you collect the different levels of prizes you get. For example (for those who do play and know what I’m talking about) the back to school back packs and the Halloween bats. This is actually my favorite part of the whole game lol. Other than that I love this game! I love that it’s not boring. There are different objectives to the different levels. It’s challenging but also so far (I’m on lvl 212) it’s not so hard that I can never pass a level which then causes me frustration and to give up on playing it. Definitely recommend playing!

Loyal Fan of this game. I love this game. I’ve never had to pay or buy anything in this game. The first time I played it had about 300 levels and when I finished all levels I deleted and then reloaded. That version had about 700 levels. I finished all of those levels and then deleted and reloaded. This last version that I just completed had almost a thousand levels. I still never had to buy or pay for anything. I think this game has helped exercise my brain. I’ve had to think several moves and their consequences in advance which is especially difficult on some of the more advanced levels. I really enjoy when there is a Holliday and I get a break from my level and go back and collect things and win prizes. I’m getting ready to download the latest version now.

Fun colors and lots of levels. My biggest complaint is that there used to be an incentive to try to achieve three stars on each level, because you could use those stars to fill a constellation and receive rewards. They keep making new levels, but they haven’t made a new constellation in years, which takes away some of the incentive within the game. I like that it takes a really long time to get to the point where you can’t solve a level without using special powers, but that does eventually happen. I’m now at a point where I have to use at least one special power in each level, but I am at level 700. They keep coming out with new levels, so you won’t be stuck at the end for months at a time. Now they just need to keep up their end of the bargain and come out with new constellations with coin rewards.

What happened to “CONSTELLATIONS”. Love the game and from time to time will purchase additional gyms, power ups, etc. So my question is did you do away with constellations? Game has updated several times since any additional added constellations from previous versions. Was the only way to gain sky gyms, additional coins, and power ups without purchasing. So now I’m assuming it’s purchases only. If you need ideas for constellations I have a few. The original ones were really unique I thought. The last few were just gyms. Nothing exciting, but ok, served a purpose. Bring back please. On level 698 and without some perks and bonuses it getting more difficult to move on without dishing out a little $.

.... Bejeweled didn’t create the match 3 genre, but they certainly popularized it, to the extent that all the match 3 games that have come since feel like imitators. That goes double for the massively popular match 3 game with “candy” in the title. Bejeweled Stars finds the master becoming the student, as this feels the world like a Candy imitation. This is puzzle-based gem swapping, with each level having specific goals and a move limit. And like its sweet-toothed brethren there is a bevy of timers, currencies, and collectables to slog through that dictate how many extra lives and power ups you get. The more you can ignore the fluffy nonsense that swaddles the game—including requests to watch ads for perks—the more fun it is. Of course the free-to-play clamp comes down hard at a certain point, designed to burn your resources at a rapid clip, forcing you to either commit to grinding for extra in-game currency, or open your wallet. Hey, you know the drill with these things. Given that, this is fine. But it also might make you wistful for the good old Bejeweled days when you felt like a consumer, not the thing being consumed.

Really bad after update. So this game is really fun I hate giving it one star. But after the update the voice guy and singing when you get 3 stars is gone and I can’t reset it to get it back. Kind of makes the bed not as fun. Also, after you play for a while it gets really frustrating, you just have to keep spending money to get past certain boards. Certain emojis never come down. It’s a fun game but there is no help when you need to from the help section, which is frustrating because you will spend money to play. They should at least answer your questions and update the glitches.

I thought they fixed it, but.... OK I’m getting ready to delete and abandon EA. Major update in January still doesn’t fix video freezing and lost rewards. You agree to seeing video to buy lives, double rewards, etc and it freezes. Only way is to completely quit and reopen, thereby losing whatever reward you we’re getting. And their multi-layer confusing bug reporting is ridiculous! From before...this game is still entirely too buggy. Rewards are offered and taken away or freezes up and when you restart the offer is gone, commercials used as incentives for rewards are often repeated one after another. Worst is the ability to turn stars (rewards for efficiently clearing a board) towards completing ‘galaxies’ was frozen, but latest update “added a new constellation”. However the game freezes when adding the stars I’ve accumulated so it’s still useless.

Love it but lots of flaws. I’ve played for years, I’m level 1,100+. I don’t mind purchases. What I do kind is making those purchases and finding that things aren’t being taken care of in the game by the developers. For example, the constellations have been noted repeatedly and still aren’t updated. Why have this? The timer to reset the hearts doesn’t work correctly in my game anymore. It will say 5 minutes to a new heart and I’ll come back awhile later and it will say 11 minutes and there are no hearts. I’ve been playing again for ages and for the first time in over a year, I got two new emojis. Also, it is beyond frustrating to beat a challenge level and get one stupid orange sunburst gem that’s called rare. They’re not. In addition to fixing these, I’d also suggest changing the unlimited play that can be won from time to time to something that can be redeemed at the player’s convenience. If I jump on for a minute and win 30 minutes of unlimited play, I may not have time to do it right then. I don’t want to quit playing but at this point it seems like the developers are indifferent to what seem like basic, obvious fixes that are needed for the game.

No ads...I would buy this. This is a great game, really. Allows you to think, problem solve, yet do it in a really fun way. BUT, I’d rather just pay $4.99 for it to get rid of all the advertisements (what you are subjected to if you run out of hearts but want to keep playing) and the in-app purchases when I’d rather work hard to problem solve for the extras instead of buying them. This game is set up to get people hooked on it, and driven to the point where they can learn addictive casino-type behaviors that are opposite the critical thinking behaviors that got them hooked in the first place. I see it as irresponsible to make money in this way. I’ll keep enjoying the game as long as I can before getting my playing card revoked for this review. But I’m not spending money for the extras and I will play the ads while I do something more entertaining until I get enough hearts to play some more. Or, until you let me buy it for $4.99 so I can play without the apps and in app purchases.

Good for the first few hours. The game was fun and interesting for the first couple of hours, I got to level 50-60 ish before it was becoming obvious to me that I needed the extra skills to win the game, which would be fine but to make the extra skills immediately, you need coins. The only way to get coins is by passing levels otherwise you have to wait sometimes up to 4 hours to make one skill. One round in this game takes 3-5 minutes to win and this game is really making one skill take 4 hours to make and you can only make one skill at a time. The most useful skills take 20-30 minutes to make but you would need a certain recipe of gems to make that skill and if your short a gem you have to go back to previous levels and play the same games you’ve already played sometimes 20-30 times before you get enough of the one gem you need to make that skill. Or you could open your wallet and spend money on fake gems you will never touch or see in a game that you play to waste time.

Great game for only a little while... The game gets way too hard the further you get. It gets to a point in which it's literally impossible to beat a level without using a bunch of special gems or using coins to extend. Case in point, there are levels in which you have to collect a certain number of butterflies... However, no matter how many times you play it, they never give you enough butterflies to collect within the number of moves allowed. You are forced to use coins to extend and get more moves, meaning you will be forced to spend money and buy coins. Really irritating. I understand developers are in it to make money, but it goes way overboard in comparison to similar apps / games. My advice- don't start playing this game. It's addicting, and then gets to a point in which you literally have to pay money to progress further.

Can’t go past level 1227. So, after years of playing this game and countless of both joys and frustrations (especially when the game will freeze and shut down when ready to finish a level) I am ready to say goodbye to Bejeweled Stars. No matter what I do or what special bombs I use, I cannot defeat it and so I admit I’ve been bested. Early levels were fun and entertaining. Mid levels give you a bit of a mental workout with what seems not enough moves to finish the game. High levels become frustrating because you don’t have enough materials to create the bombs you need and must play the game over and over to harvest them. Bit at the end. It is possible. And then you make it to the legendary section. Those levels past 900 where each level starts exactly the same and you must make small adjustments each time to decode the exact sequence of moves required to beat it. My goal was to make it to the 1200 and here I am, well past that ready to say goodbye after a thoroughly accomplished mission. Farewell, my friend.

The irony is I’m still playing this game. I downloaded this game because it looked cute and I wanted something to kind of relax or unwind with after work. Like watching tv I guess with minimal mental activity. I liked the meow meow song that came with fireworks when I beat a level. I’m on level 145 and the meow meow has stopped. That’s kind of disappointing especially because the levels are so ridiculously hard that when I do beat one I want to hear that cat sing about it! It’s like a song of victory! These levels are basically impossible. No skill can beat a long drawn out- must scramble since there’s no moves left- situation. The game is starting to make my head hurt and the visuals are not helping. Not sure why I’m still playing. Ha!

IMO The Best Jewel App Available (a decade of deciding). Like almost everyone else, I’ve played around with a number of apps like this (the underlying theme being puzzle-type games involving matching up rows of coloured symbols) since smartphones first appeared. It’s now 2023, and the only such app I still have on my phone is this one. Here are a few reasons this app is better than the rest: * you can play it without spending money - ever! There’s the option to buy coins but everything you could buy can eventually be won for free just by playing the game. * doesn’t constantly interrupt you with ads which you’re required to watch if you want to keep playing. Doesn’t EVER do it. * you play starting at level one, and higher levels are gradually more difficult - they also vary in terms of the game style (hard to explain but my point is that it’s just repetitive enough to fulfil the purpose of the jewel-match games but varied enough to remain challenging and interesting. FOOT NOTE: let us take a moment to pay our respects to Snake, the simple little game which kept us occupied in boring situations, long before we basically started carrying powerful computers in our pockets. 🐍❤️

Missing content. I’ve been playing this game for over a year. The only way to earn time is to collect constellations and this function has not been updated for over a month. The game is good but not updated regularly enough. Very frustrating.

Need more levels. It's called Bejeweled Stars, but collecting stars does nothing anymore. There are never new constellations. Bejeweled in Patterns, might be a better name for it.

No fun at higher levels. Success, variety and rewards are few and far between after level 800, and progress is so slow that interest is lost in the the time taken to build the boosts needed to complete a level. Going back and completing the star collection is completely impossible on some levels even without using a single move, maximum boosts or purchasing extra moves. Very battery draining app. No payoff for patience and skill at the higher levels, and the only achievements are in the seasonal promotional periods.

Level 1000 - Such a Disappointment. After fighting my way to level 990 I was so excited about getting to 1,000. Waiting weeks for the next 15 levels to arrive. Hoping/expecting something awesome. Fireworks. Mega gem drop. Coin pack. Even an attaboy!! Nada. Zip. Zero. What a wasted opportunity to give thanks for loyal fans. Shame shame shame.

Missing powers. Too many glitches in this game currently. Use gems to create power ups but never receive the power, or power appears for a couple of seconds then disappears. So disappointed that you have done nothing to fix the bugs. This situation should have been rectified by now as you are aware that multiple players are complaining of identical issues. You are happy to take our money but seemingly have no interest in doing anything about the problems. I would not recommend anyone to download this game in the current format.

Great game, but ....,. Being a loyal player, level 1200 and over the past several month, even so the levels have been updated, NO new constellations have been created/ updated? Some levels are now impossible to finish without super toys, which are harder and harder to get, of course you can buy them, however, I hope you are not only after our money. Freezing in level 952. Finally a whole new level to conquer, but loosing hearts due to app locking up and shutting down on level 952 is upsetting. Making this not so hard level very challenging to beat.

Coppers tyres ad can’t close. There is no way of closing the Coopers Tyre ad. I get it, I have to watch the ad but at least give me an option of closing it once it is done rather than have to close the app

Frustrated. I love this game, I’m on level 1100 something but I’m disappointed that I have collected lots of Stars recently but I’m stuck on ivory bloom and that since the latest update it freezes me out unless I purchase a bundle, which I haven’t, therefore I haven’t been able to play. Unfortunate. I’ve been playing this for a number of years the game itself is good enough just a shame when you get to ivory bloom it just stops no more constellations. They just keep doing the same thing at each level just dress it differently want you to buy and buy as you go through the game but don’t update it. Great Game but Beware Purchasing. Big fan of the game but not happy with purchasing coin or gem packs. They take the money and don’t give you your purchase way too often for my liking. I recently bought a gem pack and didn’t get it. Then I thought it hadn’t gone through so I did it a second time. Now I’m out $126 and no gems but got 10,000 coins instead. I don’t want the coins, I want the gems. EA games couldn’t give a toss. Apple refused refunds because I got the coins. So annoyed right now. Take back the coins and give me my gems or give me a refund. Seriously considering ditching the game. Not happy.

Where are the new constellation rewards?. Long time player & supporter of this game however it’s becoming frustrating that there’s no new constellation rewards for stars collected / completed. I’ve probably spent over $1K on this game over the years and would expect this to be updated by now.

Lacking updates. Lost interest due to lack of updates for the constellations. Why collect stars if there are no constellations to complete. Update has been lacking for more than 12 months. Very disappointing.

Difficult to love. I really enjoyed this game at the beginning, but as time went on, it becomes purely just RNG based and it’s impossible to beat levels without RNG, or spending your money, so I’ve chosen to delete this app and move back to other games.

Worst game in history. Constantly watching ads to earn rewards and no button shows up to close the ad, therefore no reward. They refuse to fix these bugs so they can eat a really fat one.

A downhill slide into meh. A fun, addictive puzzler in its earlier iterations, spoiled by gratuitous monetisation. Every time I reinstall for a rerun, something else crops up. Despite purporting to be available offline, it jams up trying to contact a server and won’t continue until I enable mobile data (which theoretically should be my right unless the words “always online are in small print somewhere). If it’s a bug, fix it. If it’s a sneaky way to get me to waste data so you can shovel micro transactions, forget it.

Entertaining. Keeps you interested and thinking and occupied for hours.

Great game. I love this game but for some reason it is freezing in the middle of my games and I have to shutdown and open again so I lose more lives then I get to play. Please fix. I sent a review some time ago but it’s still no better. I just list half a dozen gems in a game that froze after I activated them but before I actually got to use them. Not happy.

I love it. This is such a great game, classic Bejeweled with current features, I'm not a fan of Bejeweled blitz because there's no levels and no feeling of completion but with Bejeweled Stars there's worlds, levels and I just love it, the relaxing, chill music is awesome, I love hearing the announcer say stuff like game over, unbelievable etc. it's a great match 3 puzzle game, very addicting! Dec2019 update bug. Could we please return to the ability to listen to other audio while playing this game? The Dec19 update has made this impossible. I have played this great game for years while listening to podcasts or music. Now I am playing it fearless. Pretty please with sugar on top?

Can’t connect to Facebook. Hi.. long time player and last few days I haven’t been able to connect to my Facebook. I’m in the 600 levels but it’s not loading and has removed all my progress. This is on my iPhone. I also play on iPad but not having the issue. Seems it might be since latest update as my phone has updated but iPad hasn’t. Please fix this ASAP.

Life bug. The game keeps deleting my lives. I won’t play for several hours and then I’ll open the app and I have zero lives. Then today I waited for the countdown to give me a life it tried to open the level and then said I had no more lives.

Disappointed. I have been happily playing this game for a year. Until at level 450 it crashed & would not open. So l deleted it & downloaded it again. I had to start from the beginning but at level 59 it froze. So l have given up!

In love but also disappointed. Let be honest, I’m at level 800 and I’m obsessed. I open the app daily to play around and waste time, it’s great fun. But the last 6 months to a year the levels added are purely the same levels with smaller amount of turns to complete it and the stars are POINTLESS. They go towards noting once you fill up the 5-6 or so gem stars. Seems like they gave up on trying. No new fun powers or anything different to keep people engaged. I’ll still play it as a long time addicted friend, but they do not utilise the gaming structure they set up from the beginning.

Let me have my audio. I play my mobile games while listening to podcasts. But for some reason this app, unlike any other game I have played on this iPhone, stops my external audio whenever it is in the foreground and I have not been able to figure out a way around it. I will gladly update to 5 stars if this problem is fixed.

Ready to delete!. So over this app lately. Have done 3 updates in last 2 months and since that time the app constantly shuts down...mostly mid game and that life is lost...other times you open the app and it immediately shuts down and when go back in I've lost lives!!!!!! Loads of bugs atm!. Its a good game but heaps of bugs atm. Any background sound I have like music or a podcast that I often like to play in the background (and turn the sound off within the game) shuts off the second I open the game. Also when I play adds sometimes I’m not seeing them and the screen freezes up and goes a funny colour. Please fix soon!

Complete addict. New constellation isn’t updating with stars collected and the back arrow isn’t responsive. Don’t know if it’s a bug or what but regardless, I’ll be playing until the end.

Starting to feel cheated. I’m at level 874. For the last few hundred levels I’ve felt like the level developers have just made the levels harder by giving you less turns making it so the only way to pass the level is to play it over and over again on the hope that the “stars align”. It feels as if they are actively coding the game to not let you pass when it looks like you might (sounds a lot like candy crush, huh?)

Constellation rewards.. Keep updating in the hope that the constellation rewards will be filled again. It’s been months since I received any thing.

Not favourite game anymore.. I looked to see if anyone having same issues. Why are old reviews the only ones shown? Bonus games like Corvus challenge, Henrietta etc not available anymore. No new constellations for months if not years. Disappointing. Will find a new game I guess.

Can’t open app. After updating “we’ve fixed the Facebook sign-in issue, so you can login to your account and continue the journey across the star-studded islands” now I cannot open my app to play this game!

System bug. Some levels like 1251 are hard to pass. How can it be possible to have 25 butterflies without clearing all the gravel 🌚. Even if I used all the possible items already. Nowadays it’s becoming more frustrating to play the game instead of enjoy it.

Need to create Constellations to match the levels. I love this game and have played over 1000 levels, but the stars I earn equal way more than there are in the constellations....makes no sense to have collecting stars as an incentive but you run out of constellations...

Game keep freezing, you can make each level more interesting. You can add more variety and different actions to make each level bit more interesting, otherwise it gets boring....

Not working since update. The day they switched to the red peacock thing in the game, was the day after the night my phone updated to 17.1.1 version, and the game stopped working for me. I can’t click anywhere, its like the touch screen is deactivated for me, accept for like the play button at first.. Nothing opens. And they have the worst customer service ever. Seems like it’s AI Answering you but not answering the right things, like the worst AI ever that obviously can’t address new problems they’ve never seen. No one listens and no one is trying to help. So frustrating because it used to be my favorite game. I hope someone else notices that in their engineering team and fixes the bug soon before I delete it…

Levels get ridiculously challenging. You basically have to use boosters every step. They do give you the option to view an ad for an extra move, which is nice if you need it. The emojis are stale and the riddles are repeats. Henrietta’s egg challenge is awesome.

More constellations. I am on level 960 and I have never made an in app purchase. Aside from the obvious crashes and glitches, the annoying thing about this app is the constellations aren’t keeping up with the amount of levels. Add more so we can continue on in the harder levels!

Lost All Progress. I had completed hundreds of levels, a few days ago it was just opening as a blank white screen. After attempting to check for updates, shutting off phone, closing and opening app for those days, I decided I would delete and reinstall, not realizing it doesn’t save to any account (you cant create one) and losing years of gameplay. Too difficult. Not the bejewelled of old. This is a Candy Crush knock-off. Eventually the difficulty level becomes absurd. Their “best value” purchase is $139 if you want to buy power ups to help. No thanks.

Mother. Some levels are too hard. And you need to provide better rewards and more often. Example: Henrietta’s frenzy, if we need to take a break from the game to do life things and come back some time later we should have new life waiting without watching the ads to earn more life. ☹️

Bejeweled Freeze. Please update the game…I contacted customer service weeks ago due to the game crashing either mid-game or at the end just as I reached my goal. Now it’s also glitching when I watch a video so that I can’t clock x to exit and I have to close out the app and go back in. Very frustrating.

Attn:developers. Great game but it’s virtually impossible to progress into levels 160+ without using special powers and if you don’t have skygems to make the powers, you’re stuck. They don’t even give you a reasonable option to purchase them. I played religiously for a few weeks and purchased gold to help progress. Now I’m getting ready to give up. Such a shame as this would be amazing with just a few tweaks and the ability to purchase sky gem packs.

Frustrating issues. Since the last update, sometimes when I finish a level, the game tells me I haven’t finished it?! Which means I have to finish the level a second time, something that is very frustrating, especially when it was a difficult level. Also, the Power creation isn’t working properly. I keep trying to create new special gems, and the game won’t give them to me! When I tap on the gem to collect it, the counter goes from 0 to 1 for a split second, and then it goes back to 0. Sometimes, when I reload the game, the gem is there waiting for me - but now always. I used to love this game, but it seems like every update just creates new issues...

Won’t unlock after level 1895. Got up to level 1895 and although completed unable to advance. Your report a bug or report tech issues form doesn’t work either just sends you in an endless loop and unable to submit a help ticket

FACEBOOK LOGIN DOES NOT WORK. Game is great, never have any issues till now but I can’t seem to login on FB to save my progress. Please fix this issue.

The “Groundhog Day” of match fours.. The arrangement of jewels is exactly the same every single time, dooming you to play the same game over and over again. I feel it didn’t used to be that way when I first downloaded it and wonder why they’d make that change?

Was great but lots of problems now. Ads freeze when attempting to get special gems. Account not credited when completing a challenge. Constellations locked and cant move on. Was fun - now frustrating. Can not get through to support. Save the disappointment

My favourite!. New challenges every day. Great variety of "maps". For those who are complaining about getting stuck and needing $$$ to advance? Bulls@#t! They just aren't very good ;) I have completed hundreds of levels and, while some levels certainly are challenging, perseverance, a focus on strategy, and a touch of luck will see you through (and I pride myself on NEVER using the power ups like the Hammer - I'm an Old-School Bejeweled player from way back!) So I highly recommend this game! I just wish you could save the “umlimited” play rewards to use them when I have time. For example, last night as I was about to go to bed I happened to complete the Corvus’ Challenge, which is really hard, and was given 2 hours of unlimited play, but couldn’t use it as I had to sleep. What a waste...

Henrietta’s challenge is frustrating. Levels on Henrietta’s challenged are mostly impossible and impassible - it’s like they want you to spend $$ on extra turns just so you can pass. Super frustrating

Intrusive ads that do not respect volume settings. Latest update brings intrusive ads that have maximum volume even when sound in-game is turned off. Been playing for years but it’s time to uninstall. EA are greedy and I’m not wasting my time on their ads.

White screen of death. The last update wiped out my entire game. After seeing the first loading screen (cat with purple star glasses) it goes to a white screen, and stays that way forever. I’m well over 1500 levels into this game. Am I supposed to delete it and start over?

Intro. Hey can you please change the intro white screen to black? It’s incredibly bright and rather aggressive when I open the game to play while I try and sleep.

Log in issue. Sometime in July 2021 I had to re download the app. However, doing so I was not able to login and retrieve my current profile. I was having to start over. Upon researching the issue, it appears there is an on going technical issue preventing players from multiple devices and brands from being able to retrieve there profiles. The issue was being addressed. To date (Nov 2021) there has been no change to getting my profile back. I have spent many hours playing this game and have enjoyed it very much, but due to this technical issue, I have no desire to have to start over, so unfortunately, I will no longer be playing this game. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!

Get it together. A few weeks ago, there was a bat collection challenge for Halloween. It disappeared by noon. Today, I wake up to turkey challenge for Thanksgiving, and it is now gone. Too many bugs in this game, cannot pass the newest levels, and there are no way ti earn coins besides constellations. There has not been any new constellations in many months. I don't need anymore orange "rare" gems. They are far from rare when I have two hundred because that seems like the only reward you get. Read your reviews and fix the issues! To everyone giving reviews, leave one star ratings if you have an issue. Don't give five stars and then complain. They aren't going to look at it.

Addicted … I can’t STOOOOP!. This is by far the BEST and most addicting game that I’ve played. Even if I can’t pass a level I will continue to play and play and play. I gave it 3 stars ⭐️ because there are some levels that are to difficult to pass. I’ve been on the same level and playing the same level for over 150 times now and I’m not able to pass. I think after a certain amount of times of playing and trying to pass the creator should make it a little easier for those who have attempted to pass after a 50+ times. But besides that it’s I am addicted!

Old school Popcap fan. I started playing PopCap games when they were still web based, like 20 years ago. They used to be fun and enjoyable, and Bejeweled was my favorite of the bunch. But this game is made ridiculous by the greedy SOBs who decided you needed to see one, maybe two, ads BETWEEN EVERY LEVEL. It is virtually unplayable now. The whole idea behind Bejeweled was getting into the Zen flow state, but now you can’t swap two gems without a loud commercial cutting in and blaring away at maximum volume. Whoever had the idea to break up the flow of this game should be flogged. Edit: Further review. Now the app turns off your music when you open it, and again when you try to play a level. EA has disabled help support, apparently. When you fill out their survey, the submit button never becomes active. Tried it on PCs, phones, and iPads. They really are a terrible company and they ruined all of the PopCap games. Still believe they all need to be flogged. Terrible bunch of people.

Fun deteriorates. Initially Bejeweled Stars is fun and a great way to pass the time. In spite of the ads that eventually increase, it allows you to get pass the boredom while waiting at the airport, DMV, doctors office etc.. Then the levels get to a point where they are beyond a challenge and pose no fun requiring you to use all of your collections just to move past unless luck is on your side. Butterflies won’t register when exploded, levels are pure luck and little skill and the ads come in droves. Worst part is having sound off (while in a quiet dental office) and yet the mute is bypassed causing you to panic while shutting it off. Very idiotic and stupid!

Awesome and relaxing. First review. I’ve been playing for years, I’ve always love bejeweled classic, etc. this game is fun, challenging and always changing. FYI on the challenging note, certain levels you can’t beat without having or paying for specialty jewels. I can usually beat the levels without forking up $$$. I was stuck on the same level (1091) for MONTHS until I finally gave in and spent 4.99 to buy jewels and move past the level. I guess we all gotta make money somehow... I got hooked and paid up.

Add more default lives.. This was my previous review which is to have options on when to use the free extended minutes and hopefully add more default lives instead of just "5" -- it seems that the developer does not want to implement the suggestion or simply ignores the request. (Old Review: It would be even better if we have the option to use the "extended hours/minutes" according to the time when we'd like to use it. Game is so great! It surpassed all the other games out there! This is the only game I have in my iPhone. Thanks for listening to our feedback. I love this game!)

Frustrating on all levels. 1. Purchased add free twice when phone was upgraded. Third new phone again my purchase is nullified. Will not purchase a third 2. App overrides any streaming music even if app is silenced. Extremely frustrating 3. Even more frustrating is the adds will blare sound even if the app is silenced. This along with having to purchase add free every time you upgrade a phone is difficult to swallow 4. Gameplay is a joke. Hard levels are only so because the “random” factor is skewed. Many times a game is impossible to win because of this. Turns it from a game you can actually effect the outcome to a completely random game 5. Do not recommend

Crashes all the time. I’ve been playing this since at least 2017 and always had fun. Yes it was buggy sometimes but I would still have fun. However, last December 2019 my app crashed. Wouldn’t open again so I deleted and re download. When that happened I lost ALL special gems and such I had been accumulating. However I know the game didn’t reset because I still had all the levels I had already beaten. Still I wasn’t too terribly upset, I could always win those back. Now, though, the game will not even open. I can delete and re download on my phone and nothing. It will just crash every time. Really disappointed because this was a fun game and I did enjoy it. But I will be deleting it off my phone. Taking suggestions for new games

Keep asking me to rate...ok. Could be fun if not for all the ads!. The sheer number of ads makes this game no fun to play. Waiting for two ads to finish just about every other level takes the fun out of it. Click the X to close the ad only to receive another timer to wait for the next X to close the ad ONLY TO RECEIVE ANOTHER TIMER TO AGAIN WAIT FOT THE NEXT X TO CLOSE THE AD!!!! I do however use those ads for a purpose...any games in those ads will not be downloaded because I figure those games will also have ridiculous amounts of ads as well. Also, the game crashes causing loss of hearts. I've lost 3 in a row trying to play one level because it crashed.

Fun game but app is flawed. I have been playing the game for about a year now and have reached beyond the 700th level; it’s fun. However, the app has continuously glitched and led me to unwanted purchases that I will not make it happen for the third time. Upon opening the app, it usually offers a “Package deal.” Despite pressing the ‘x,’ to bypass the pop-up, it’ll still go to the next step of submitting payment with my fingerprint. Everything is pretty quick so, if you’re not paying extreme attention, you’d be bamboozled. I was able to get refunded the 1st time, but now they’re denied my second one (even though I did not use it). In summation, you can play the game but NOT through this app

Frustrated. Every time the Henrietta game comes up, I am unable to play it. It is forever trying to load to no avail. I do enjoy the game, but would like to be able to play this extra game as well. Grrr Coming back to this several months later. The Henrietta egg game still doesn’t load. Not sure what the problem is because the other special games load and play just fine. Still frustrated by the inability to play this extra game!

Very disappointed. I am so sick and tired of you always doing updates and then forcing us to update the game if we don't update the game then you don't allow us to play our games. This is very disappointing that we can't play our regular games unless we update the game and for what you don't give us anything exciting or freebies like other game companies do then every time I get to have a gift prize when I get I high score I always get the same repeated emojis that I already have and it's over and over the same emoji like really I have been playing this game for over 4 years and still haven't been able to get all my emoji. This is ridiculous your about to lose a good customer because I'm getting tired of this crap. I soon will be uninstalling this game.

More constellations?. I completed all of the constellations a few levels back and had a new app download but no new constellations came thru. Are there any more? I have collected quite a few stars but am I able to accumulate them? I have reached level 951 and am obsessed with this game. LOVE IT!!! I am now on level 1032 and how can I collect the butterflies when they don’t come up for several moves? Still need the constellations.

Greedy game. Edit 2: Broke down and downloaded it again only to find that now as you finish a level they put pop up ads in between which is a HUGE F—- NO! Oh my god Pop Cap you greedy @$(;&!! Never mind. I’m NEVER coming back. Edit**** I had to make myself delete this game because it was making me so angry and frustrated. The developers really need to address the issues that people keep bringing up or more more people will simply give up on this frustrating game I do like playing this game as it is really addictive but there are some things about it that really make me mad. The fact that you can only play five times is ridiculous. Certain things really annoy me: Every single time you win the daily challenge it's always that stupid orange gem which is not rare at all because I have hundreds of them I want prizes to be varied like a flame gem or a star gems not just 2 green ones or a yellow one I think it's absolutely insane that they think somebody is going to pay $70 for a couple of gems and 2 free hours. Like who would ever pay that much money for a mindless phone app. Games that take years to develop don't even cost that much Give us more free stuff!!!!!

2 days and deleting already. First off… WHY do we have ‘lives’? We don’t need them. There r levels that r very difficult! I get to play only a short time, what fun is that… ITS NOT! I didn’t know games still did this stupid ‘life’ thing. My play time is limited as an adult. This is getting deleted because I’d rather play something I don’t have to worry about loosing lives. I’m NOT watching ads to get them either. Shame cause this was fun…. Oh well….someday devs will learn how to actually have a great fun game. You’ll get more players, dedicated players, that’s for sure. Tons of people r tired of playing majority of apps. because of ads and crap like this. It’s NO FUN! My time is valuable.

Ridiculous. I have played this game for some time and used to enjoy it. And then the levels became ridiculously hard with the obvious ploy of getting you to spend money to buy special jewels and whatnot. I have been stuck on 727 for days and I don’t see how it is possible to complete it without using numerous special jewels/powers, which takes forever to accumulate. And after reading reviews I see I have level 732 to look forward to getting stuck on. I have accumulated hundreds of “rare” gems and yet most of the helpful boosts require lots of green ones which you can never get. It is obvious the game has become rigged and I’ve had enough.

Don’t Get if You Play Classic. This game is not bad. It’s your standard move-around-the-map game, finishing challenges to advance levels. It was fun to play. My issue is that I also have Bejeweled Classic downloaded, and enjoy playing Classic often. To my dismay, after downloading and playing Bejeweled Stars, I can no longer access Classic Bejeweled. When I open the Classic app, every game (butterfly, diamond mine, etc.) is available to play, but Classic has a weird-looking cat drawing over it, and when I try to click the game all I get is a ad for Bejeweled Stars. I can no longer access Classic. I tried deleting both apps (Stars and Classic) and downloading just Bejeweled Classic, but again every game but Classic is available, and again the stupid cat is mocking me from his perch atop the Classic widget. I would have played this app as well as the games on the Classic app, but now I have deleted both and will play neither. Nice. IF YOU WANT TO BE ABLE TO CONTINUE PLAYING CLASSIC, DO NOT GET BEJEWELED STARS!!!

Charms. For the last 3 days in a row, I have not gotten a daily challenge. It says congrats & has a countdown going, as if I've already beaten it, but I did not play it. Also, I keep passing levels, even getting 3 stars, & not getting the emoji chest. I'll have to play sometimes 4 or 5 levels before the emoji chest will start, then have to wait 3 hours to get an emoji I already have. It's super annoying. Finally, I'm having a hard time coming by the white & yellow charms. I currently have 1,156 blue charms & only 1 white & 1 yellow. Update: I do not care about new levels. I can keep replaying the old ones to get an emoji chest & try to earn 3 stars. When are you going to update the constellations??

Time for new constellations!. It’s been months and I’ve probably accumulated a thousand stars if not more! Constellations are the only way to earn significant coins and they’re way overdue. The last 50 or so new levels are almost impossible without powers or coins to add more moves. (Level 732 is ridiculous and I’m stuck there now.) Update: I’ve completed all 1775 levels (so far) now. There still haven’t been any updates to constellations. The Orange gem is still considered a prize when it is garbage. And you don’t have any new emoji. The game itself has been stagnant for years and the advertising only gets more obtrusive. Either give us a major update (not just more levels) or pull the plug on the game once and for all.

Trying something different, at least!. Games like this are good time wasters, even if they are sometimes frustrating. I appreciate that they take a new approach to getting through tough levels by letting you create the power ups you need to brute force your way through rough levels. Some of the ideas they’ve come up with to give you more control of the board are rather good too. It’s by no means a perfect game, but better overall than most.

Need new constellations!!. Good game and I enjoy playing it it helps pass the time whenever it’s not so glitchy! I would have given it five stars but between the glitches and not getting any new constellations in a long time I felt it only deserved four stars. Fix the glitches that all us players have and add new constellations then you’ll get your five star rating from me. Update: Still a good game and it’s nice they keep adding more levels more often but they need to add more constellations because it’s been over a year since the last constellation update! Once they do that then my ratings will go back up!!

Challenging and fun. I've been playing this game since it came out in May. I love it! The strategy keeps me on my toes. I like the fact you don't have to rush, and can spend time plotting how to win. Plus, the special powers help you plot "revenge" on particularly difficult levels. I've now been playing since May, 2016. I still love the game, but the amount of time between updates is getting longer and longer. Of course, the levels are also getting more and more difficult, but some of them just aren't even fun anymore. The game has turned into nothing but a money grab. I get it, the levels need to be more challenging, but when it takes buying more moves to win, it's not fun any more.

Fun and entertaining but.... I have played this game for years and it’s good for what it is but it COULD be so much better. Only 5 “lives” unless you want to play or watch ads? Come on. And PLEASE, update the constellations! Some of us aren’t about to spend real money for prizes. The whole point if the constellations was to earn stars to complete them and win stuff (gems, coins, etc). Instead of only adding more levels, take a minute and add more constellations and give us something for figuring out the puzzles!

Gets too complicated after playing a while. I loved this game at first, but I agree with what many others said. It’s super fun in the beginning but after you play a while and get to high levels it’s just pretty much impossible to pass certain levels. They make it super complicated and require you to purchase things for you to have a real shot at passing some levels. It also was super annoying to go through all the required instructions to know how to pass each level in the beginning. They just made it too complicated. Good idea that was taken too far.

Bejeweled Stars. I love this game, but there appears to be changes in the special events such as there is no longer 2 hours free play to try to reach the ever changing amount to get rewards. There is not always the option to buy extra moves, and it seems variable as to how many points towards the grand awards you get that are remaining on the board at the point you you meet the criteria to win the board. There is no place that I know of to research these questions. The help topics are not helpful. The contact buttons lead you down un-useful rabbit holes.

Fun game, but too buggy. This game loves to crash my phone. I can no longer listen to music/audiobooks or podcasts while I play because the sound automatically turns off as soon as you initiate the game. Watching videos for extra lives or other bonuses completely lock the game up at least 60% of the time, and lock my phone up 10%, so 70% of the time, any video I tried to watch doesn’t give me the credit. Also, the memory it takes in my phone is higher than ANY other app. I’m going to have to just delete the game and move on because it’s more hassle than it’s worth.

Same old emojis. I've been playing this game since the day it came out. I'm at the top level and have played some levels over and over again. I open emoji chests at least twice a day and I'm SO SO SO SICK of getting the same emojis over and over and over again. Without new emojis, you can't answer the riddles even when you know the answer. Even the so-called rare and epic chests give you the same ones you already have. I'm so tired of clicking "thanks" to receive these dumb old emojis. New levels: I detest the vines. You've now succeeded in making the game almost impossible to play. Who wants to keep playing the same frustrating level over and over again. I enjoyed this game for the first year but it's just lost the fun factor for me.

Too challenging of levels. I do you like this game a lot, but I wish they would not put the levels where it’s nearly impossible to pass. There are brick squares that you can only break with explosive jems that are hard to come by in certain structures. Not only are they nearly impossible to pass , but the level itself is not at all enjoyable. I hope they will take the brick things out or make them minimal. Or even put them in a structure that has enough space to create explosive gems. I have tried almost 15 times to get out of this last level and not making any progress so I will be deleting this app.

Love it!!. I love this game!!! Definitely has me hooked, I am on level 465 now I never thought I would get to this level on any game.. definitely my go to game, I do get bored with it once in a while but I can’t stay away from it long, the only time I may go more than a day or two without playing is when life gets a lil chaotic once in a while... LIKE I SAID I HAVE PLAYED MANY GAMES, I DOWNLOAD THEM PLAY FOR A WHILE AND END UP DELETING THEM EVENTUALLY BECAUSE I GET BORED WITH THEM, ANYTIME I GET A NEW DEVICE THIS IS DEFINITELY ONE OF THE FIRST APPS THAT I AM SURE TO INSTALL ALMOST IMMEDIATELY!! Love it thank you!!

Great game until recently. This is honestly one of my favorite games. I can’t say enough good things about it. But the last three updates have been terrible. They no longer bother to update the daily challenge on a regular basis. You can’t beat a level without boosters anymore. Playing the same level over and over really has made it boring. It has been ages since they have offered a new gem in the constellations. All of this cheapens it, which is too bad, because it’s so much better than all the games that are similar.

Love playing except.... This is the only game I have consistently played and keep playing. It’s fun and entertaining. The only thing I have an issue with is my app somehow got stuck on the Ivory Bloom constellation for the past 2 days, I’m on lever 1000-something. I can no longer get coins, gems or rewards for collecting stars 😞. I still keep playing but a little bummed, that was part of the fun..to collect stars to get coins and gems.

Ehh.... Look, I do love this game. But the flaws with it are quite annoying. It’s basically just dependent on your luck, if the gems are good enough, blah blah blah. I don’t play this game often enough to leave a longer and more helpful review, but I just want to say that you shouldn’t give them your hard earned money just to get a “limited time deal” on a couple of things you could get yourself IN A MATTER OF HOURS. While you wait for those things, just do something else for God’s sake. It’s a good time waster for long trips, flights, etc. but I don’t think personally that it’s good enough to give them your money.

bejewled is not great. I finally deleted bejewled stars. To make it be any fun it wants so much money. Why dont you make it a flat price. These coin packs are costing to much. Will not use it again. The adds take all the fun away. Even if you pay. You also don’t allow sideways play very annoying. You have to spend hundreds of dollars to be able to moveforward. You took all the fun out of a classic this is why people give up on free games. How about conisder doing a flat price. Its no longer fun due to money costs. Please dont be so limited on the moves. I mean some of the levels you only give us four. Thats really unfair. Its probably good your games are not on the switch.

I’m out. I’ve been playing this game for so long I started with the original version. I was up to levels in the 3,000’s when I had to have my iPhone rebooted. It took me to level 1 in the updated version & I had to start all over again. I’m up into the 700’s now & I’m quitting because it’s impossible to win a level without spending money. They give too little moves to win any level & it’s necessary to use every tool in your coffers to try to win & even that’s not enough. You have to spend $ to get xtra moves. It takes long to build the tools back up for the next level. So it’s annoying & games should be fun. So this cash cow is out.

Really annoyed. Bejeweled Stars kept of freezing. I read up on how to fix it. I was told to log into Bejeweled Stars on Facebook, delete my app on my phone and then reinstall it and I would get all my powerups back. I did this and ended up being screwed. I had 100 tile swapper power ups, all I got back were 30. I had 80 hyper cube powerups, now I have 16. I lost about 3/4s of all my powerups by following your instructions. I had over 1000 Orange gems, now I have 130. I lost about 3/4s of my gems. I also lost most of my emojis. I am so freaking annoyed. Don’t lie to people and tell them that they will get all their stuff back, they won’t! I used to live this game. I played it for years building up my powerups, gems and emojis. Now I have about 1/4 of what I had before I followed your instructions!!!

Emoji rewards. I’ve been playing this game for about five years now. It’s fun just to pass the time away and some some challenging. However, once you get the maximum amount of levels. When you get three stars or any stars they give you an emoji sometimes not always. Depends on if you use too many coins or jewels. If I get one it ends up being a duplicate over and over again. I don’t understand why they give you the same emoji 789 times. Is there something to address this? I’ve already got gone all the way to level 2210 I’m backtracking to earlier levels that I didn’t get three stars on. Has anyone ever addressed EA about fixing this bug? How do you get new emojis?

Please fix the Daily Challenge!. I have been avidly playing Bejeweled Stars for several months now. Recently, I have begun to have issues with the Daily Challenge level: it shows as having been played every day, even though I haven’t played it, so I am not receiving the stars or the prizes for any Daily Challenges. I KNOW this is a problem for many other users, and it’s very frustrating because I’ve reported the problem to EA and gotten no real support, just general advice about the game. I have spent real money on the game and I think I can reasonably expect to have my issues resolved! Please fix this bug... we would all very much appreciate it. Thx.

May delete - too greedy!. I’m a long time player and up to the 700+ levels; I love the game and don’t mind spending a little money to play ... but it’s clear that you have increased the difficulty level significantly and it is impossible to complete each level without using multiple power gems AND there hasn’t been a constellation update in at least 6 months. I know gaming is a business and you need to have some return on your investment however if you continue in this fashion you will lose your players and your advertisers. Ease up on the difficulty levels and roll out the constellations!

Level 823. I find it disappointing that you create levels that you can only beat by sheer luck(1/2%) chance or by purchasing more coins to beat a level. Unless I’m missing something, this level in not passable without a purchase! These are supposed to be puzzles that can be solved, level 823 is not one of those levels!! I feel taken advantage of by those savvy ladies and gentlemen that create these new levels making them impossible to beat!

Fun but... This game freezes way too often and I find myself struggling to finish the levels based on strategy alone. I have to rely on luck to get through difficult levels which, in my opinion, ruins the fun. The freezing is a major issue of mine. Every single time, the game freezes and I lose a heart. This is incredibly infuriating especially when I’m super close to beating a level I’ve been stuck on. It almost feels like it freezes on purpose. I feel like the whole objective is to get you to spend money to earn power ups so you can easily get through a level. It’s ridiculous.

Long time player is feeling cheated by not. Receiving extra points for the last two challenges. Now the turkey challenge has no where to progress, sure I can keep playing but that doesn’t increase my points. Their are two more days to win turkeys if I had new screens. When I got to the top I was forced to replay until I had three stars. then there was no way to go to the new screen. Has it been created yet. . What can be done to correct this ?...

Good games - no emoji rewards. The games are fun but some of the emoji rewards are non-existent The emojis awards have been the same for over three years and there are emoji awards that simply do not exist or they refuse to release In over three years there are emoji awards that have never materialized. Those awards must not exist because the odds of not receiving any of them over three years are astronomically low. The same emojis appear over and over while others never do. They do provide new levels for new challenges which is fun. But if they can create new levels they can release ALL of the emojis.

Bejeweled stars. I have been playing this game for quite awhile now. On my iPad and my iPhone. I have gotten to a place on both devices where I got to ivory bloom. It filled up all the stars, but I didn’t receive all the rewards for it. Every day I tap the icon to see if it will move on to the next one, but it never does. On the iPad I know I have probably earned enough stars to fill up another one—if there was another one. I do enjoy this game. Wondering what needs to be done so it’s not stalled.

It’s ok. Kinda confusing though.. This game is okay. I’ve been playing it for like 2 years straight. I do hate how in order to get special gems instantly, you have to collect sky gems AND spend coins unless you wanna wait to hours to create them. I have over 200 sky gems in every color but am limited on how much I can create because of the time it takes to create them!! And I don’t have enough coins to create them instantly. Frustrating. I also don’t understand what the emojis are for and what solving riddles get you. The game itself is fun because it’s a bit addicting but the extra fluff is confusing.

I wish it had a zen mode.. I enjoy the game, but some days I need something that doesn’t get in my way with having to play the level 800 times to finish it. I just want to have a cathartic experience to unwind. I absolutely adore the colors and sparkles when star and flame gems explode, it’s soothing. A mode that allowed endless moves or dropped gems in exactly helpful ways to win in the moves allotted, but didn’t get you chests or other rewards, would help with that. When you spend all day feeling like you can’t win no matter what you do, and then can’t get through a game level, it kinda stops being fun.

Do better. I like this game a lot but the developers have to work on a couple of things: - why isn’t there a prize for filling in the stars for constellations anymore?? What is the goal of the game now? - recently it keeps on reloading when I am going to a new level which is very annoying. I sometimes put my phone off and back on again and even that sometimes doesn’t work. I have updated the game to the most recent version and still the problem persists. - the orange sunburst gem is absolutely USELESS and not rare. Either make it more useful or get rid of it.

Where are the constellations???. I've been playing for a while (at level 700+ and enjoy it. My BIGGEST grievance is the lack of variety of stargems for the daily challenges. No more yellow and orange stargems PLEASE!!! It's so frustrating to get a ridiculously high score, only to receive 2 measly orange gems. They're not that rare!!! Let's have more tile swappers, detonators, scramblers, etc. Also, please fix the glitches. Can't understand why I get penalized by losing a life every time the game freezes. Ohh 1 more thing, we're looong overdue for more constellations.

Bejeweled. Is right up at the top of my list for favorite and most loved game. Contender right beside is Walking Dead I think it’s the Dead man walking one. The other walking dead game doesn’t even come close to this one that’s in my number one spot along with bejeweled and the kitty cats adding up was a great time. TY for creating those two cause I play them every chance I can. The reason for three is it leaves room for any improvements that u might make as time goes by ppl are always trying to fix things that are not broken. U know that ole sayin! “If it ain’t broke why try and fix it?”

Too many ads. I understand that ads on a free game are to be expected, and I do not mind it at all. The developers need a way to make money after all. However, there are ads literally with every screen change. Finish a level? Ads. Lost a level and want to restart? Ads. Want to quit a level and do something else? Ads. Want to check out the dailies? Ads. Want to go to the settings window? Ads. Okay, I might be exaggerating with that last one; hopefully you get the point. Again, ads in a free game is to be expected, but in this one it’s well over excessive to have to sit through 30+ seconds per level.
