Room for Improvement. Been a shipt app user for 3 + years. Continue to use it because it’s handy and because more stores have been added for me. I do like several newer features like tip options, being able rate a shopper and choose him/her to shop again, and of course, more stores to choose from is super nice! However, there is room for improvement… There are certain stores, especially Publix, that are always out of items, but I’ve been told by shoppers and/or the store, that it’s mainly because Shipt doesn’t keep up with individual store inventory well. The stores have plenty of items on the shelves, but the app doesn’t reflect what they have accurately. Also, the shoppers should be allowed to shop whichever store is most convenient or shows that most items are in stock. I also prefer the old method of the shopper texting me instead of using the APP chat. Of course I understand this probably helps corporate. Speaking of corporate, I’d also to know right away if my order is being picked up or not. Too many times, I place the order at 9am for a 6pm delivery and find out at 6:30 that no one has picked up my order and I won’t be receiving my groceries. This has impacted my child’s school projects, items we were to cook for a group function, and of course, dinner! And last, Would like to only buy 1 of a BOGO item. The app automatically selects 2,4,6 when the item is BOGO. Thank you for reading my review!

Life Saver. If your doing life right you find that time is your greatest obstacle. Even is you a Master Planner you can’t plan for life. When I am busy with my family and all that life has to offer, I trust Shipt to help me do the shopping I don’t really have time for. There shoppers really care and take the time to shop as if you were there yourself. Have you even been going to the store for something you really need and can’t find it on the shelf? I have and it takes time to find an associate who can locate the item from the back room. My Shipt shopper takes that time and gives it to me. Shipt gives me extra time which to a single parent is everything. Thanks Shipt for being there for me whenever I need you. Carlos

Awesome. I’m high risk for respiratory illness, work from home, and really don’t have time to shop. My husband is from the South and is very wary of driving in snow. We tried Shipt for the last few weeks because they offered a free 4 week trial. We have no complaints and nothing but praise. I’ve had 3 deliveries so far. Every shopper was courteous, let me know they were shopping my order, offered if I needed anything else, answered my texts, and was either on time or early!! They wore masks and met my husband at our garage door. We are so grateful for everything. This service is worth its weight in gold during these times. Most importantly, we are able to help people right here in our community have jobs. It’s costs a bit more than doing it ourselves but being safe is more important. If you have family that is home bound, get them a membership. And generously tip!! Shipt Shoppers are essential workers!! The app is amazing too. I can order through the Target app too, get my Cartwheel awards, use the offers, and use the Shipt app for other stores seemlessly. It even knows what I ordered through the Target app! 100% recommended by my family!!

Complicated web design. They need a new app/web developer. As as a shopper who has done plenty of delivery apps with in the past 5 years, this is by far the most confusing and extremely hard to navigate to the next task. Once an order is completed you can not see what store you delivered to only the order number. The rating system is terrible. If you get 2 5stars ratings your average rating only goes up .05%, but get one 3star rating then it goes down .20 %. It’s not worth the headache. Just like ride share, we should be allowed to rate customers as they can often make shopping very difficult by changing items multiple times when you’re already in line to check out and being rude when you report items are out of stock. All in all if you just want to make some quick homey its not too bad, I would advise taking smaller orders 15 or less. Anything more trust me the customers will give you a hard time.

I miss the old Shipt. I love the luxury of shopping from my living room, but things have gone downhill for the last couple of years. I used to always get the same shopper who knew my preferences and could easily recommend substitutions when something was not available. They even made it possible for me to designate her as my “preferred shopper.” But now unless my order is huge (which I can’t afford because Shipt’s prices are higher than store prices, so I only order what I need right away), my order gets grouped with another order, and my shopper has to shop both orders at the same time, and sometimes the other order is much bigger than mine or in the opposite direction from the store! So when I used to always get a great shopper and get my order fast, now I either get subpar shoppers and keep canceling my order until my favorite shopper gets it, or I get my favorite shopper but she’s stressing about getting both orders done and delivered without getting a low rating from a customer who didn’t get their order fast enough. It’s really dumb, and I keep telling my shopper that she should just break out on her own, but she’s too loyal! And don’t even get me started on the app that keeps crashing!!!!

Total failure as a whole. 1. Grocery items marked up beyond what they tell you. Example: Shipt says you can expect to pay about $5 more per order while a bag of shredded cheese is marked up by two dollars by itself. 2. Shopper is not allowed to give you the receipt or a photo of it to show the differences. I assume this is to hide just how much you’re being ripped off. 3. Shopper charged me for larger items that I ordered and then delivered smaller items. Example: They shouldn’t be able to scan a single can of Celsius and then charge me the $8.99 for the four pack. That shouldn’t even be possible, but it is. 4. Reporting errors does not get your money back and without the receipt to prove you didn’t get what you ordered (see point #2) you have no basis for a claim. Reporting errors also gets no response in general. 5. Between the yearly cost of membership, the delivery fee per order, the upcharge on the individual items, the tip for the Shoppers, and the errors above, this is not worth the investment for anyone.

Love Shipt. I have been using Shipt since the pandemic due to having Covid twice. I’m a nurse and during the pandemic worked in a Covid unit. I still care for Covid and now flu patients so I choose to not spread whatever virus of the season I may pick up while shopping. I use the service very frequently and I often get the same Shipt shoppers (Teresa and Mark.) I live in York, PA. These people have a game changer for me. Both Mark and Teresa go way beyond what they have to do my shopping. I am not exactly sure how to request them but they would be my go to shoppers every time if I could request them. I have had other shoppers also and all but 1 have been wonderful. For the people who say they have had bad experiences with their shoppers, their shoppers could take a lesson from Mark and Teresa. I do make sure they are well tipped as they provide a service that keeps me happy and my fridge full.

Single blind mother. I was leery to join a membership that seemed so costly. I am so happy that I did join Shipt, because they are extremely professional and orders have always been delivered on time. The shoppers will contact you through texts to get suggestions for any substitutions for items that may be out of stock as well as to allow you to add items that you may have forgotten to put on the shopping list. I find their attention to detail to be exceptional! Also, anytime I have had a question that could not be answered on line, and have called the customer care line, I have found the customer care team to be kind, professional and very quick to resolve any issues. You absolutely cannot beat their customer service and their true devotion to excellence! I would definitely recommend shipped to anyone who needs their shopping taken care of by somebody else. It is extremely convenient and you have several choices of stores to choose from. Thank you shipped!!

Shipt is and their shoppers are AWESOME!. Our family had local shoppers that worked at the stores shop for us but unfortunately they don’t deliver. We found Shipt and have been using Shipt since and we have not been disappointed since! We absolutely love the shoppers who shop for us. They pay attention to EVERY detail, easy to navigate through app for shopping products or groceries, communication is on point and they are quick. I’ve even used Shipt to deliver groceries to a friend that was sick. We pay the annual fee for delivery instead of the $10 per delivery because we use Shipt so much and we definitely have gotten our moneys worth. Thank you Shipt shoppers and Shipt for making life a little easier.

Before the chat update, it was a 5 star app.. The new chat feature has caused nothing but issues for me since it came out. During one of my orders, the message wasn’t even showing in the app for the first 15-20 minutes of shopping so I couldn’t message my shopper, even though I had a notification AND a text saying she had messaged me. On my most recent order, the chat feature was too slow and because of that my shopper missed one of my items completely because he didn’t get my response before he had checked out. This wasn’t the first time the chat feature was slow either. I’ve literally had an issue with it on every single order since they switched from texting. I get that a new feature like this takes time to get the bug fixes out and whatnot, but until it does run smoothly, they should still have the option to text.

Communication goes a long way. The last time I ordered was not a good experience. The person who picked up my order…. Never communicated with me at all, in face, I ended up canceling my order because of the lack of it. I was really hesitant to try again… but, thought I would give it a second chance.. I was not disappointed! Theresa was very communicative with me from the moment she claimed my order to the moment she left my house. She let me know when they were out of certain items and made great substitutions. The only mistake was the milk…but that was totally on me. I didn’t specify that I wanted fat free. She brought a 2% …which was fine. She was very nice and quick. Definitely hope she will be available again next time I order. Happy customer 😊.

Delivery was delayed by hours and I was encouraged to cancel because of substitutions. I am pregnant. I am in the throws of morning sickness. I decided to rely on this service for groceries I was not physically able to get myself while I was nauseous and miserable. I placed an order a little after 3pm with a 5-7pm delivery window. My shopper offered substitutions for items and said he was done. He never arrived. Around 745, shipt updated my delivery to 8-9pm. After 8pm a new shopper said he was starting and I was confused as I didn’t know the first shopper had disappeared. He said many of my items were out of stock and pushed me to cancel various times offering no substitutions. All this during a FIRST experience? I was so LET DOWN. It’s 830pm and I’m going to get whatever I can myself. NEVER AGAIN. I can’t believe they put me through this when I needed help. Also, their mobile chat doesn’t work if you leave the page to say, copy your order number from the app. I wish I could give 0 stars!

Service gets a 4, app pulls to 3. Service could still use some refinements, biggest issue is the perpetual loop you get stuck in when your scheduled time is cancelled (sometimes repeatedly) and pushed, not until five minutes after the hour, requiring you to contact a call center which often has extended delays. Biggest complaint with the app is it doesn’t allow you to build a perpetual shopping list. Example: today you add 25 items to your cart, come back tomorrow to add 3 more items -and find your cart has dropped to 19 ... with no record of which items were removed. I’ve used Shipt through Meijer, and equally often find the Shipt app doesn’t show items that are otherwise available and in stock through the Meijer app. As a result I find shopping with Meijer app and shopper service is often more fluid and has become my go to.

It’s good for the most part. I have had this app for 7 months. It is convenient especially having a husband, a new born and two kids. Sometimes it is hard shopping with everyone lol. In the beginning, I had no problems. Customer service have always been great. Lately, I noticed that the type of workers that are being hired have not met the standards of what I am used to. There is one shopper that is exceptional. She communicates, tell you if a product is not available and takes pictures of what is. Then, she makes you pick your substitutions. I even told her to buy something for herself from time to time. I chose her as my preferred shopper. One thing about this app, they so try their best to get your preferred shopper. Lastly, the shoppers that have been shopping for me doesn’t even tell you when they start shopping. They select their own substitutions. The also drop off the groceries and never tell you they arrived. I had one shopper replace my Oreo and Ahoy cookie treats for my kids with green dog treats 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ (I’m still in awe). They substituted baby oil with lotion and picked up some type of pancakes that I never heard of to replace my Aunt Jamima. Other from that the $99 a year is cool if you shop over $35 for free shipping. However, if you are under that $35, you will be paying that $7 delivery fee regardless.

Bad customer service. I recently had a target order that was accidentally delivered to the wrong address by the driver. The driver was nice and said they made a mistake and tried to retrieve it. They reported it missing and said that the address they left it at, it was brought inside the house. They asked if I worked get refund and the only thing they got was scolding from Shipt that they shouldn’t of done it and no response about a refund. Then they told me that I had to call. The call took in total over 45 minutes to complete. They asked me to knock on the door of the person who received it at night to retrieve it. When I said that they were not a nice person they didn’t seem to care. Then they said they would submit a refund request for my order and I would possibly still need to contact Target. Not easy to deal with and super complicated to get help. No easy way to report anything lost without being on the phone for an extended period of time and still no real results. Completely do not recommend them. Not an easy platform to deal with.

Beware!! Locked account with no notice. I loved Shipt, used it at least once a week for months until one day it stopped working. I tried calling numerous times over the course of weeks and couldn’t get through. The call center wait times were always over 30 minutes. Finally months after not being able to use the app I got through and they indicated that they had locked my account intentionally because they suspected fraudulent activity! The order they marked as suspicious was one that I was trying to place!! They didn’t call, text, email or anything they simply locked out my account on their end so I received no notice and had no idea what was going on. By locked out I mean I could still shop, chose my delivery time, and click the payment button, the payment wouldn’t go through. I contacted my credit card company because I assumed the problem was on their end and they indicated it wasn’t. I tried numerous cards, wasting my time because Shipt has terrible business practices. Don’t waste your time with this app. I’m making the switch to Instacart.

Chat Feature. The new chatting feature is a huge disappointment. I’m not sure what went into the decision making on pulling away from using native text, but for the end-user this is a huge waste of time. Every time I get a message from my shopper, the app then sends me a text message to go back into the app within a different area just to reply back to the shopper. This process goes on over and over and over again during the day while I’m busy doing other things like working and taking care of my family. It’s a terrible way to force people to use your app more by causing a ton of friction in their shopping experience. This was poorly thought out and I’m not sure who you user tested this with, but I would highly consider changing it back. Hack Tip: For anyone that doesn’t like this chat experience, you can order directly through the Target app and not have to deal with this. Texting with your shopper is still with your native phone text through Target. [yours truly, a UX Professional and long-standing Shipt user]

Shipt through Target App. I used Shipt throughout the pandemic and the shoppers I had were amazing and even ended up getting the same few on multiple occasions. Very personable and attentive. They made me feel like I was in store with them and were prompt to tell me if the store was out of stock with anything. Overall, pleasant experience and quality shoppers That being said, I moved states and had poor experiences with half the shoppers. One didn’t let me know they were shopping and had no idea they delivered. I prefer to gather groceries quickly so potential porch theft can be avoided as well as avoiding spoiling food I just paid for. I also don’t understand why I’m asked if I need anything else but then can’t add to the order on either end. I like how shoppers can text you but find it strange that you can’t reach out to them so you have to rely on them contacting you first throughout the process. Ultimately, I still enjoy the service. Pretty convenient for all sorts of situations

Not so great. Second time using the app just as bad or worse than the first bogo grocery store items default to 2 in your cart .you must buy 2 of the same item you cant get two different flavors. I made notes in the note section that apparently the shopper cant see unless the item is marked as not found . I could clearly see all notes in my order as i checked after paying( seeing how i had issues the first time) Both times i was issued a credit but ots not the money I Just want the items ordered not two of something else and why have a section for notes is they are not going to see or follow them. I asked the driver and they said the texted me and u did-not reply the text i got were im starting your order, im on my way and and your order has been delivered there were no mention of my notes I assume they were read and understood at this point. Not the case driver did not see notes and when i emailed i was told there were no notes . They dont show on the receipt only shows the items the shopper actually put in the cart snd which were missing from the order. Strike two , next time i will screen shot the notes . If the notes are there and order is still screwed up than strike three, your out. Then i review everywhere and start telling people Do Not Use this service!

What the he**?!. I’ve been using Shipt through the app for at least the last couple years and it’s been a lifesaver for me, until recently. Over the last two weeks I’ve been getting odd screens I’ve never seen before that preclude me from getting to the order screen. I followed every suggestion from chat and online, all of which did not work. I’ve left messages with the developer to no avail. Now I’m desperate and need groceries, but the app is telling me Shipt doesn’t deliver to my address YET. That makes no sense because, as I’ve stated, I’ve been using the app fir delivery for a couple years. If this is a change, I guess I can’t do anything about it, but if it is a change, why hasn’t Shipt let people know?! Seems like it would be a simple and courteous thing to do. I’m so frustrated with the lack of communication, and for whatever reason I may never know, I have to find a new way to get groceries. Bad form Shipt.

Seriously fine customer service!. I’ve been using Shipt for over 2 years. Their shoppers are communicative and friendly and willing to go above and beyond to help you with anything—substitutes, an item you forgot to put on the list, or something that you think of at the last minute. I’m high-risk for COVID-19, and my shoppers are very thoughtful about placing my groceries on the porch. And their behind the scenes customer service people are quick to fix a mistake or overcharge. Their app makes it very easy to notify them and they respond quickly with polite and apologetic emails. I began using them when my husband was undergoing cancer treatments, and then the pandemic began and I already felt safe using them. I don’t think I’ll ever do grocery shopping again, regardless of what happens with the virus and vaccines. <3

Why site has changed. Greetings make sure everyone knows that Shipit is amazing. Best kept secret for getting fresh food out there. Everyone was using this service all the other without mentioning names would be out of business. The service that you provide Way above par. Ratings would go through the roof if it was more widespread. It’s up to us as the end customer to support your service. By reading our shoppers and talking to Customer Service. By the way Customer Service is phenomenal. 30 seconds or less you’re connected to someone. In conclusion it’s a shame that we don’t see commercials about this. Thank you for being there for us. Amazing. The customer service can’t be beat. I once had a shopper who called me to tell me she couldn’t find a toy on my order so she was heading to another Target to find it. I didn’t even mention it was a Christmas gift for my daughter and if it was out of stock, it wasn’t going to be a big deal because I waited so last minute. This shopper went to THREE Target stores and found one left on the shelf. It was just days before Christmas so I imagine the stores were packed and traffic was crazy. So needless to say, that shopper got a well earned tip for going out of her way without me even asking. 🖤 This service got me through the pandemic when I didn’t have a car, didn’t have anyone to watch my son when I was scared to take him to stores during lockdown, and didn’t have a way to get my groceries. The way these shoppers bend over backwards is incredible. I’ve yet to find another delivery service that has this kind of service. I’ve rarely ever had issues and if I do (maybe twice total since using this app from 2018 to now?) they’re quick to give me a credit to apologize. Overall- shoppers are pleasant to work with, I love that they notify you when they begin shopping, let you know they’re heading to checkout in case you have anything else you need, notify you when they’ve completed checking out and are heading your way, and the customer service hotline is always helpful and friendly. Shipt is a 10/10. I’ll be a faithful user for life and maintain my membership with them.

Please fix your time windows. Every time I order through Shipt my time gets pushed back this doesn’t happen with any other delivery app. I ordered at 5pm a shopper was assigned almost immediately now at 7:40 I’m being informed that the time is pushed back then if it gets pushed back again, the groceries I needed to feed my family tonight I can’t get that I’m ordering because I don’t currently have my car which is why your business is even successful, it’s super unprofessional to think that THAT is ok when people have memberships. Dont communicate with customers at the last minute if you absolutely need to push the time back but you guys have an issue with getting the time right in general and that needs to be handled I only went through Shipt today because they had Winn Dixie on their app but I usually go through instacart because they never push back the time into oblivion or until the next morning. What the he** am I going to do with yesterdays dinner coming at 8am when I ordered at 4pm the previous day?! FIX YOUR PUNCTUALITY.

App Is Pointless Please Read. Shipt service is the biggest joke among my group of friends. I try to make it a point to let people know so as they will not waste their time. Shipt never has the good brand name products in stock. This isn't based on one shopping experience, it is from several at different days of the week. They insult our intelligence. It's obvious they want to lure us in a store than we exhaust our patients, then end up buying the store brand products. Since they don't update their on line shopping app to reflect current inventory, it's no wonder their on so many shopping extensions, such as Target and Kroger. It never fails my shopper is in their store I get a text, after a text, then another that their out of a product. My grocery order is pointless but I already paid for a shopper. It's a clever trap I'm here to inform you not to participate. Order your groceries from another source. They’ll come back and say their shopper is free, that you can cancel the order, but then your not going to get any groceries. If we could tell the shopper to leave one store and go to another would be an awesome solution. However, they can’t do that cause of the platform available to Shipt, which has higher prices. They don’t want you to get the store prices.

Old School. Shipt was created quite some time ago, way before it was cool to deliver groceries— like years and years ago, so they have it together. Shipt has saved me *and my parents* this past year. The annual delivery subscription is really reasonable and there’s a year end holiday price, usually 😉. The one issue I have is the updates, or lack thereof, on stock in stores. The shoppers I’ve had do a great job adjusting and suggest, take pictures of the shelves, do whatever you ask, to make sure things are satisfactory, but it’d be helpful if they could get keep their systems more updated. I know it’s probably hard to do, especially this past year, but Shipt would be 😘perfection— IF you could get that all fixed. Also, I will add I called customer service for a couple of small things, and they were awesome. You can also DM them if you have a random question. That’s my novel on Shipt ☺️. Stay healthy everyone!

ShoppingThere are always too many items that are NOT available. I don’t know how you pay your. You pay your shoppers BUT this takes extra time from their shopping and perhaps is not so cost effective. But overall I do,love your service. I give my tip to the shopper in person that is why I have not been placing it on the account. Shipt: I am handicapped and so I am so,grateful for this service and the necessary help,it brings to,our home., I have been having problems lately with the password and just changed it for this order. Then I decided that I could accept the order earlier and wanted to leave a note as the weather just keeps getting worse. I was not able to get on again as it did not recognize the password I had just used for my order. I cannot afford to be without a shopping service so if I continue to have problems, where would I go to or call to seek assistance.

Shipt Unfair To Their Shoppers. I would suggest another delivery service if you care about the treatment of their shoppers/drivers. I had been a Shipt shopper for about two years, kept a customer rating of 4.8 or higher, but supposedly because of their requirement that you keep a 90% or higher on-time order percentage I was deactivated permanently without warning. When I called to ask what happened, they told me I was deactivated for violation of the contract and that they were ending the call now. No chance to ask about appealing, or ask which orders were late, etc. Also when they deactivate you, you no longer have any access to your account. So I am unable to see which orders were actually late or verify that something wasn’t marked late in error. Because ironically the very next day after being deactivated I received an email from them congratulating me with a $20 on-time bonus for my most recent orders. Doesn’t make sense. I emailed them as well asking for my order and payment history, to which I received no response. I highly suggest Instacart instead. They’ve had their own issues, but their app functionality is far better than Shipt, they offer more stores, and they don’t have such unrealistic rigid standards for shoppers. Pay is also generally better. Shipt obviously doesn’t have time to hear out their shoppers, even when highly rated by customers.

I once took Shipt quality for granted. Never again!. I was an early Shipt user, but I tried Instacart for a while and I HAD to come back to Shipt. The shoppers are always great and make life easier! You’d be surprised how counterproductive and even disruptive shopping services can be when you end up disputing every order. I won’t take Shipt for granted again especially in new mom life. Thanks so much!!!! Worst Instacart story: shopper buys the wrong item for 90% of my order including buying a jumbo box of size 3 diapers instead of size N for my newborn and giving me a shrimp skillet meal instead of chicken when I had to feed kids that were allergic to seafood 😩 If you’re struggling with other services there’s hope with Shipt!!!!

Overall Best Customer Service out there. These are THE MOST COURTEOUS, CONSIDERATE, FRIENDLY shoppers/drivers out there. THEY ACTUALLY COMMUNICATE WITH YOU and go out of their way to find the correct items, and ask about substitution items when necessary. I don’t know what SHIPT’s new-hire screening and training process is, but more delivery services need to figure it out. My one & only complaint might be that sometimes one is shopping for multiple people at once, which is perfectly acceptable - even practical, but they don’t initially tell you when this is the case. So when you get a text telling you they’ve started shopping it’s surprising when it takes longer than you’d anticipate. Other than that, BEST SERVICE, BEST PEOPLE.

ADHD friendly!. I have a family of 6 and get very overwhelmed/ anxious and mega distracted in the grocery stores. It takes longer than it “should” and more mental prep than it should to just go in the store haha! My neighbor suggested Shipt and I cannot tell you HOW MUCH I LOVE this service. During Covid when we all needed meds, just get on my phone and get an order together. Christmas dinner and simple times like Friday night sushi and snacks needed… JUST AWESOME for this last minute Mama. Also the app is streamline, easy to read and easy to navigate. Huge plus for my brain. Coupons offered and ability to write individual notes for each of the items is so great and helpful communication tool. The shoppers text and send pics… I truly have nothing at all negative to say. I LOVE Shipt. Rain or shine they come through. So grateful. Im so much more productive.

Can’t Disable Promotional Notifications. Generally, I like this app. It is easy to use, intuitive, and I can usually find everything I need when shopping. There have been times where the app will not include items that are in the store, or will say those items are out of stock when they indeed are in stock. Fortunately, the app provides the option to manually write-in requests in these scenarios. My biggest issue with the app is the onslaught of promotional notifications that are pushed onto my phone. In the settings of the app, you can turn these off (which I did), yet they still persist. The only way to disable them is to disable the app’s notifications entirely from the phone’s main settings. However, this is not reasonable because then notifications related to the order will not come through. I reached out to Shipt customer service about this and got no assistance. It would just be nice to see this fixed, it gets very annoying to receive these ads when I have turned them off.

So glad I switched to Shipt!. Their system, people, communication, everything over all is head and shoulders above their competition. You get a text when they are on their way to the store(s); communication while shopping if they have questions; you get the proper substitutions instead of just grabbing something off the shelf; and their shoppers seem to care. Everyone who has shopped for me are clean-cut, friendly and caring people. The website with the store is easier to maneuver and you can also make a special request if you can’t find what you’re looking for. That has always either been fulfilled or they called/texted me. The reason I left Instacart was there was no recourse when the shopper would just grab what they thought it would be a good substitute. Then when I called to complain there was never a human, & any text I got back what is defensive in with a total lack of customer service.

Awesome service. SHIPT is an awesome service for someone who has trouble dealing with getting all the groceries from the car to the house, not to mention that it is a great time saver not to spend an hour or more in the grocery store. The yearly fee is reasonable and there is no delivery fee if your purchase is $35 or more. These days that will go in one bag! Some of my friends ask how I can let another person shop for me. It is easy. Just do your list and provide instructions. For example, get 3 green bananas and 1 ready to eat, get the latest date available on the milk, check that no eggs are broken, get the smallest salad cucumbers, get the asparagus with small stems and heads. You can specify to be notified if they are out of something and you want to provide a substitute. It takes a little while to do your first grocery list. After that you can take a previous list and edit it to buy again. Easy and I still have energy to put them away when they arrive.

It’s Ok. Yeah sure this app is great, delivers high quality groceries straight to my doorstep it has been acting up recently. For my past couple orders i’ve had to cancel them sadly because they cannot simply give me my order on time!! They always are delaying it, if it was just an hour or a couple mixtures it would be ok, but they have been delaying my orders my HOURS. I can order some groceries at 5 and I won’t have them to me by 8. WHY!! I don’t have a car so when I need to get things that I need and need them delivered to me I rely on this app, but I think I should stop doing that soon. And if you’re on a budget trying to get your groceries delivered try a diff app, I don’t even know why I have to pay $20 for a $10 order…Yeah, the shipping for EVERY order no matter the price or location is $10. That’s ridiculous. You’re job and the point of this app is to deliver the things to ME. So why do I have to pay you an abundant amount of money for that?? $5 would even make the cut but this is crazy.

So Disappointing - Target they cost you business. This app’s user interface is all that gets stars. The service itself has been wildly disappointing. I have placed three delivery orders. The first went fine but their was very little ability to track progress on the order. The next delivery was claimed by a shopper who abandoned it but did not release it. Many hours later and two phone calls with no help from Shipt it was finally released and another shopper claimed it and delivered it. Most of the order was out of stock and I still had to go to the store. I lost half a day and was very unhappy. So, one bad and one good experience so I gave them a tie breaker order. I have been on hold for 2 hours and waiting on the chat feature just as long. The shopper has texted me that she has tried to unclaim the order but cannot and has been on hold with Shipt herself “the struggle is real” was her feedback. I want to cancel the order but neither of is able to do so and she is not going to shop my order. So I gave two stars so that people would know that this is not just a mad client giving one star. Target is losing money on this vendor and Shipt needs to recognize their own limitations and improve their process. In all my years working for software companies, I have never seen a company so ill prepared to deal with the actual business behind their app.

First time user. This order was my intro to Shipt. In the past, I have used 2 other delivery services. Shipt was, by far, the best of them all. Your representative, Cheri, was absolutely amazing. I had more contact with her in this one trip than with all of the others in the past 6 months. She kept me informed about everything in my order, told me when she had picked my items and when she had completed. Texted me to see if there was anything else I needed. The most surprising thing was a text with her ETA. None of the previous deliveries had ever done anything like that before. When she brought my order, she didn’t just drop the bags and leave. She carefully unloaded everything and carefully placed it where I asked. I don’t know if she is a typical employee or not. Because of her, I have switched to Shipt for my future shopping needs. You are very fortunate to have an employee of her caliber.

basically scammed i guess. I tried placed an order yesterday for grocery delivery. It said my card was declined. I was confused because my card had enough money. I go to my bank account and the money was charged. I was confused because the order wasn't placed. I thought it might have been a glitch so I waited a couple of minutes and reloaded the app. It was not, the order was not placed but they still charged me. I talk to their customer service and they say that i placed an order on target. I did not place a target order. They say I have to talk to target customer service, and that they would help. Honestly really helpful. However I got disconnected from chat and had to join another one. Someone else helped me again, and said I would get my refund in 24 hours. I believed them. I did not receive a refund the next day. So once again I talk to someone on shipt customer service. They say they cant do anything and to talk to target. Talked to target they said they cant do anything until a senior manager looks into it. Ill try again tomorrow I guess. So yeah, they took my grocery money, so I had to borrow money from a friend. I cant pay them back until I get my refund. And shipt is not being helpful. So if you use this app beware of all of that. However I will say nothing against the shoppers. They do an excellent job. The actual app tho, glitches.

App is good, service not so much. I like the functionality of the app. It’s pretty simple to navigate, functionality is good, however the service leaves plenty to be desired. I don’t understand why they show a time slot available, continue pushing it back another hour and eventually say “oops tomorrow morning is our next availability”. I can see if it happens once or twice, but literally every time I order groceries in a Sunday, it happens. I feel as though if you don’t have a shopper available for that time a lot, then you shouldn’t make it available to customers. I was planning on cooking a special little dinner for the Mrs as we are exhausted and hungry after taking care of our baby, but ended up making a trip myself to the grocery store. As long as you don’t care which day or time your groceries come, than this service is for you.

One bad experience. I’ve ordered through shipt several times, and always had great experiences. This last one though, was not so great. I ordered through the target app and saw through there that it had delivered. I went outside to find none of my order anywhere around my house. The delivery driver dropped my order off at the wrong house, which was careless on her part since everyone’s house number is visible on my street. So I called customer service and she was not very helpful. She said the shopper had texted me , but I’d never received anything from her. I was trying to see if she could find where the shopper dropped the order off, so if it were at a neighbors, I could have just gone and picked it up myself. The customer service agent was not really willing to help and was very quick to push for a refund. A good customer service experience can satisfy the situation even if there is an unfavorable outcome. But this was not one of those times.

Accessibility problems for VoiceOver users. Shipt is the most accessible grocery app I've ever used as a blind person navigating with VoiceOver. However, recently I've noticed that popups in search results are causing VoiceOver to lose focus. This includes search filters, item suggestions and so on. I often have to scroll back a page and forward again to find my place as opposed to being able to continue flicking left and right through the search results. Even when filling out the app survey, any time I selected an answer I was jumped to the top of the page and, when I found my place again, couldn't tell if my selection had been recorded. Ultimately I abandoned the survey and came here instead to write this review. Please pass this on to your developers; thanks!

I hate this app. Earlier I made a review and I knew I wasn’t wrong when I said that this app doesn’t show a preview of what you’re buying before adding card information. I wanted to try the monthly subscription and I was sure I chose the correct option but come to find out I just checked my account and apparently I subscribed for a year?! VERY inconvenient. I had never tried this app so ofc I didn’t want a year’s worth of subscription ($99 to be exact) ! I never received any type of receipt saying I paid that much or a preview showing that I was about to get charged nearly $100 before proceeding. On top of that, I was charged additional money because when I asked for a refund, the credit they gave me was removed off my purchase... if I would of known I was going to spend what I spent I would of never! Thankfully I can expect a refund so I will be checking my account for the next week. That been said, I can’t imagine what it’d be like if those were my last $100!!!

Great Service. Shipt is an excellent shopping service. They are available basically when you need them. I have made an order I wanted in a hour, others in 4 to 5 hours and still others the next day or so. They have been there. I get what I order or the shopper who stays in contact as she sops makes suggestions for substitute products if what I want isn’t available. I can also tell them of an item I had forgotten to put on my list. It’s almost as if I’m in the store. I can’t shop for my husband and myself anymore but Shipt has taken care of that problem. The shoppers are great. They deserve the tips and you choose how much your giving them. I love most of my shoppers and I have some that repeatedly shop for me. I just love this company. They are beyond a God send. Thank you Shipt!

🤦‍♀️. I downloaded this app just to write a bad review. I’m not entirely sure how or why this app has so many 5-star reviews. My nieces birthday was today and I decided to ship something special to my sister in law, same day, as a surprise. I placed the order at 10:00 a.m. It is now 6:00 p.m. and after THREE different ‘shoppers’ stated they “we’re shopping for the items”, my order was still canceled by Shipt for supposed “technical issues”. The first ‘shopper’ wasn’t making any sense via text and supposedly “accidentally took my order”. Luckily, he went out of his way to call support and fix the issue. The second ‘shopper’ was out shopping for the same items, and then suddenly wasn’t; The only reason I knew this was because another ‘shopper’ took the order not long after. About 15 minutes after receiving the confirmation about the third ‘shopper’, I got an e-mail from Target, (where I originally placed my order), stating they were sorry and that “something happened with the order”. Don’t waste your time.

Incompetent Payments Team. My account has been locked twice now by the payments team over discrepancies they will not tell me about. The first time, I sent the information they asked for and they said I was good to go. Apparently, I’m locked out of my account again for another discrepancy of which I have no knowledge of. The support number that payments linked leads to general customer support, which low and behold, is not allowed to communicate with payments. I can not comprehend the level of incompetence required in order to restrict your support team’s ability to support. So now I have to send another email, wait even longer until their overwhelmed payments team can respond to my email again, to verify an account that was already verified. This is a concerning amount of ill-management at this company. If I can use this app for more than 2 weeks without my account getting locked I will be glad to update my review. Otherwise, this app gets a rating that reflects the level of customer “support” I received.

Need more rehire options due to app malfunction. I worked for Shipt and had great reviews via my shoppers. I even had requests due to the fact i would go above and beyond for my customers. Shipt literally sends a text to its customers that they can add on items to their shopping bag! But guess what Shipt does not do when a customer request to add on items which is a major flaw in the app as a shipt shopper, this app does not add extra time to your delivery which is preposterous! They literally terminated me for time which is clearly a app flaw for drivers considering them already telling a shopper they can add on to their cart. I couldnt even get a human on the phone once they terminated me and they also never warn you when your time is a factor they just straight up terminate you without warning at all! Its very unprofessional honestly especially when a shopper is taking time out of their day to support a new app considering its tons of shopping apps being promoted. Shipt definitely need to update time for delivery if they are going to allow customers to add on items its just common sense and thats a major flaw. Also on the other hand am not the only one who experienced such flaws either ive heard numerous of users express the same app flaw, so i know for a fact im not the only one who experienced such unprofessionalism.

Inventory. I believe the inventory is for several if not all the target stores in the area. Because I can ask shopper to look for items not on the inventory list that can be found. Also I have had shopper who were not properly trained. You ask if I need anything not on my order than have shopper that don’t know how to add them. I have seldom had an order that there wasn’t some issue. Products listed as one thing and the shopper see them as another. Some shoppers catch it others don’t so I get the wrong product. There is always something I shop for regularly that isn’t even in the inventory. And I shop with you a lot. I shop target because it’s the most affordable. Winn Dixie has several product I use so I have to make a second order or send my son to get them. Target has always been terrible about having a product that I end up trying and like it but then it’s never in inventory again. I use to tip with order. I tip afterward now. I had one shopper(male) that kept telling me the store didn’t have this or that. I sent my son that same afternoon and he came home with all the items. My conclusion: you and you shopper wasted my time. I believe the quality of shopper has improved now you need to improve so they can have a good and successful shopping trip. Jan Davidson

Lots of failures on their end. I signed up for Shipt after moving to LA to help me get set up in my new apartment. I tried to be nice to the contract employee that would deliver my item and gave the option of anytime before 4pm. At 7:30 pm I reached out to support which. Apparently my order had been deferred by the first driver and was awaiting a new driver. Thing is no one told me, oh support claimed I had been sent a text, my phone shares a different story. Eventually a very nice woman was able to drop off my items at 11 pm, she was great. If my story had just been that I would say yeah shipt didn’t work for me but whatever, I will cancel during my trial period and call it a day. Later I get an email saying my trial is over , surprised, I again go to the shipt site and target and think I have cancelled. Today I get a notice saying my credit card was charged $100 , which considering I thought I had canceled and that the shipt website didn’t show me enrolled I was pretty surprised that I had been charged. From the bottom of my heart , I really disliked my experience with Shipt and would not recommend them to anyone if other options exist

Redner’s and Shipt. Redner’s Market has the best prices and everything you could need in a Supermarket. Once I found out I was able to have Redner’s personally delivered at a time of my convenience , I signed up immediately. It truly was a dream come true. Signing up for a Shipt membership was a no “brainer.” The Shipt shoppers go above and beyond for their customers. They can call or text when they are in the store , they ask you about available substitutions , and if something is not on the website they allow you to comment and say what you need. I needed some deli sliced capocollo and they made it happen. I am 100% satisfied with the service Shipt offers. Redner’s Market does everything they can for their valued guests , Shipt and Redner’s make life a little easier during these tough times. Thank you Shipt and Redner’s !

Disabled text messaging. I’ve been using Shipt weekly for three years. You always used to get text messages from your shopper on status, questions, etc. they’ve just eliminated that functionality, with shopper messages coming in the app alone. So, if you don’t check the app constantly, or turn on notifications for the app (which then subjects you to all manner of “notifications”) you don’t get your messages from the shopper. Terrible, unhelpful upgrade. Plan to cancel. **EDIT: Today I discovered how well this works, real world. Oftentimes. I’ll order Shipt before I leave work so it arrives roughly when I do. Typically the shopper texts me on the way home, and I can reply to a text message, with the hands free setup in my car, easy-peasy. Now, I get a ding notification in the app. To see WHAT the notification is, I need to look in the app. And then type in the app. Neither of which I can do while I’m driving. Same deal if I don’t have my phone. With my Apple Watch, I could reply to the text, quickly and easily. Now, basically if I’m just not sitting, looking at my phone waiting for messages, I likely miss them. This saves me zero time.

Great job, great service. Though we live in modern times, it is pleasant to encounter individuals with distinctive qualities so readily displayed. Promptness, coutesy, knowledge...I thought these notions went away with horse drawn carriages and silent movies. I am apprehensive in going so far as to say that my delivery person should be given a promotion or a hefty raise, though I instantly know they are deserving of it. Superior Shopper!!!. Christy has shopped for me the last two times and has gotten all items I have needed whether it be the substitute or the exact item. She has made my weekends, more enjoyable knowing she shopped for me knowing I will get what I need. She is a very good communicator and letting me know what they have and don’t have and send pictures which is great because then you know what you’re getting. She is very personal and cheerful when she arrives and always asked if there’s anything else I can do for you. I find Christy a fresh of breath air. I recently lost my mom. She’s make my life easier. When I know I can depend on somebody will get what I need. And I’m not frustrated and items I didn’t get! She is a superior shopper

Better Than The Rest. I have been with Shipt since it’s marvelous inception! Other programs like Walmart and Kroger can learn from you. Shipt is great! Lol... I eft for one week, and couldn’t survive without the excellent service of my Shipt shoppers 😊❤️. They are so attentive and I order so often, that I treat them as my grown up children, because they are so respectful. So, treat my children, your employees well so that they can stay with the company!😊 I applaud Shipt customer service for all of the associates, it I wish delivery hours would be extended , (but I underhand people need to sleep) ! Issue with Delivery. I ordered some office supplies for work and thought it would be better to use Shipt rather than the instacart. I was in communication with the shopper AD, then the next thing I see is that the order was delivered but I didn’t get a knock on the door or another text. I go outside and there was no sign of my order. Then I called Shipt and I was told that the shopper said that they saw some one outside near my apartment and when they asked them if they were me and they said they were and that the shopper left my order with them. I don’t know whether this was made up by the shopper and the Shipt representative or if it really happened like that. But whatever the case was that I did not get my items. I asked for a full refund because I will not be using shipt in the future. Next time I’ll go with the InstaCart.

I ❤️❤️❤️ Shipt!. Shipt was a life saver when I broke my ankle two years ago and was home bound for six weeks in a wheelchair. I mentioned to my shopper that I’d just broken my ankle and a month before had lost my husband. I told her how much I appreciated what she was doing for me. My shopper brought me a big bouquet of Publix flowers. This was my introduction to Shipt. She was like an angel from heaven sent at just the right time! Then more of your angels did my shopping last year during COVID. I’m in that at risk group. I’ve continued using your service and one of your shoppers is at work for me as I write this. Thank you for your fantastic service, innovation, and entrepreneurship. This is capitalism at its finest!!

Great Concept but—. The app is great, it’s your typical delivery app. Nice presentation, easy to use, yaddah yaddah— now, with it being this great it’s unfortunate that it has viruses. Being that I work with phones (and it’s public knowledge), a third party app can give your phone viruses. When I downloaded it, I didn’t notice it and went about my day. When I finally used it, my phone went haywire. It was texting by itself, Siri was glitching, apps were opening and force closing, etc. I don’t typically see this in iPhones but I do see this happen frequently in androids. Now, you may ask, how do I am 100% sure it was the app? As soon as I deleted it, my phone started working normal.

Shipt app was convenient and easy to use. I had my Target order delivered today in a blizzard. I felt awful and honestly thought they’d just cancel my order today but my shopper came thru with most of the items I had requested. There were just a couple things they didn’t have in stock which is to be expected during a snowstorm bc everyone panics and runs to buy all the milk, eggs and bread and that’s before one snowflake even hits the ground. The NY weather will say there’s a chance of snowfall next week and that same day the shelves will be wiped out. Relax people!! It’s just snow! Thank you Shipt for coming thru today!!!!

Eek.. The last 3 shoppers I’ve had did not establish communication, ask if I needed to add anything or tell me when items where being delivered. Today when I put in an order it was to be delivered between 6-7pm a guy picked it up showing he was 3 items in with no communication. I called shipped and they had him reach out. This occurred 5 minutes after the delivery window began. When I told him I needed items added, I sent pictures of the items… still little to no communication but progress showed he retrieved most everything I requested. At 45 minutes into my delivery window I receive a text saying my order has been moved into the next delivery window. When I check on the progress of my order, it was waiting to be picked up. This is beyond frustrating. I’m 9 days away from delivering a baby and do not want to be in a store right now. Can we get it together please.

Needs work. This app used to be great. I have had a terrible time with them lately. Was supposed to have a delivery come between 4 - 5 pm. I tried calling customer service and after 2 hours gave up. The live chat was even worse. I kept getting texts saying it was pushed back. I didn’t get it until 11am the next day! Then I had 17 items on my list and 6 of the items were wrong yet they were talking to me and asking about substitutions for other items. The next delivery I had; I had no communication except for “I’m on my way.” They didn’t even tell me they had started. This delivery they just didn’t get 3 of the items, and 2 more there was unacceptable substitutions. Then, to top it off, the driver drove into my yard and left tire tracks on my lawn. Can’t get much more rude and thoughtless!!

Horrible. Promised delivery by 10pm. 8:20 I get a notice in the app that the shopper is shopping. About ten minutes later I get a notice it’s purchased and on the way. An hour and 10 minutes later the shopper texts me and says she’s in line paying. 45 minutes later she says there is bad traffic. 10:55 I call and cancel my order. She was no where near delivering still. Oh and the store is 3 miles from my house. Customer service blamed the independent contractor. The service can say we’re not going to work with you if you lie to our customers. The service also offered me a $15 discount on my next order. There won’t be a next order if you don’t take it off my current order. I logged in today to write this review and I’ll be deleting the app.

Please fix “Add to Cart” on app after order placed!. We have been using Shipt for eight months and absolutely love it— no complaints at all, until now. The only problem I have encountered is with the app in the last ten days or so. After placing an order, and before your shopper begins to shop, we have always been able to use the “Add to Cart” option in the app if we wanted to add an item, and it was a simple process. Now, when I click on “Add to Cart” it just takes me to another check out page, as if I never placed the order. Please fix!

Orders not going to my preferred shoppers. Updated review: My orders are no longer going to my preferred shoppers. I keep getting matched with people I don't know. I have 10 people on my preferred shoppers list; why aren't I getting any of them? original review: No contact from Shipt customer service after "report issue" No contact from Shipt customer service or refund of my MISSING ITEM after I used the "report issue" feature in the app. WHY OFFER such a feature if it's meaningless?? I did not receive the 10 chicken wings. I received zero. Not sure how it was charged to my account when I literally didn't get them. The other item was the WRONG item. Original review: The app does not honor background refresh Settings in iOS. This means if I am switching between my browser and this app, it does not correctly put this app in the background. Instead, every time I look away for even 30 seconds, and only going to one other app, it still requires me to completely reload the app from scratch. This is ridiculous and speaks to a lack of care by the developers of this app. Another thing this app does not honor is the BOGO sales from grocery stores. They are greedy and overcharge on every item, yet do not honor sales. Instead, they pocket the difference. Many of the shoppers are very good, but they want us to pay overpriced groceries plus a tip which is ridiculous.

Nothing but gratitude!. We have been using Shipt since before the pandemic for ourselves and our college sons, during for the pandemic for those in need, and short of very minor snafu’s their service is great. The only thing I could think of to improve would be to allow us to suggest a preferred shopper. Some shoppers go WAY above and beyond and some are just meh. We prefer to tip the above and beyond healthily. We do wonder, when we travel, how there are so many stores available and we have four, no liquor either just wine and beer if we choose WinnDixie. All in all, great service and much appreciated. Mahalo nui loa! 🤙🏽

What the he**?!. I’ve been using Shipt through the app for at least the last couple years and it’s been a lifesaver for me, until recently. Over the last two weeks I’ve been getting odd screens I’ve never seen before that preclude me from getting to the order screen. I followed every suggestion from chat and online, all of which did not work. I’ve left messages with the developer to no avail. Now I’m desperate and need groceries, but the app is telling me Shipt doesn’t deliver to my address YET. That makes no sense because, as I’ve stated, I’ve been using the app fir delivery for a couple years. If this is a change, I guess I can’t do anything about it, but if it is a change, why hasn’t Shipt let people know?! Seems like it would be a simple and courteous thing to do. I’m so frustrated with the lack of communication, and for whatever reason I may never know, I have to find a new way to get groceries. Bad form Shipt.

Bad Company, Bad App, Bad Service. Hi there! Please do NOT download this app unless you want to be terribly disappointed. I’ve had nothing but issues from the start. They get rid of the only shoppers that do a great job based on fact-less stats. They say “pick your preferred shopper” , who they then drop for no reason and without warning. Sorry…but not sorry about those bills you have to pay Shopper. Shipt also doesn’t care about you, your order, your time or anything but themselves based on my experiences. Worst of all, they charge a ridiculous amount to join when compared to the low, $7.50 base pay rate they pay their employees/shoppers per order. Underpaid. Bad Service. All around terrible experience. I unsubscribed. I will NEVER use Shipt or the Shipt App again, nor will I use its affiliate Target. Huge waste of time and money.

Excellent service for the public!!. I am very pleased with SHIPT delivery as all the shoppers are amazing!! 🤗 They communicate very well with their customers, and I feel the extra expense is so well-worth spending. We are seniors with health issues and getting out to shop sometimes is difficult, especially in these times of covid it is safer to stay home. That's when I call SHIPT. They go above and beyond their call if duty. Font hesitate to use this service. I had been using another shopping service, but when I came across SHIPT and experienced their wonderful service, I will never go back. Thanks so much, guys!!!!🦩

DO NOT use Shipt. They’re customer support is absolutely awful. Whenever there’s an issue, you either wait in hold and call or wait on hold in the chat on what’s supposed to be an immediate talk with support. I was terribly sick and ordered medicines and cold remedies when my order was an hour late. I tried to contact ship through many channels and when it finally contacted them they said my shopper cancelled and a new shopper was assigned and that it would be another hour. My delivery went from 3-4 to 6-7!! Awful. On top of that for the inconvenience, they offered me $15 credit to my account. I had a $50 order! And they’re assuming I would ever order with them again. They told me that’s protocol for a late order. $15 “credit”. Terrible experience, terrible customer service. Don’t do it.

A lot of changes/But doesn’t fix anything. So I’ve been a Shipt shopper for over a year now and while I was making money come to (May 11 ,2023) the app no longer lets you pick up orders on the hour there’s a lot of other shoppers for what I’m guessing are from instacart. The orders are being given out because people claimed about not getting any orders, the app lowers your completion rate when you drop an order that’s not do to be shopped for like hours. Oh make sure your secretly shopping at stores don’t bring out your phone to much because if another shopper notices you most likely you return to your car with flat tires I have to replace two tires because of this. The app doesn’t care if your a full timer with 2000 completed orders and will give away your preferred shoppers to other people who are new over all just a bad app and i recommend you something else like WorkWhile to make money.

App is good, service not so much. I like the functionality of the app. It’s pretty simple to navigate, functionality is good, however the service leaves plenty to be desired. I don’t understand why they show a time slot available, continue pushing it back another hour and eventually say “oops tomorrow morning is our next availability”. I can see if it happens once or twice, but literally every time I order groceries in a Sunday, it happens. I feel as though if you don’t have a shopper available for that time a lot, then you shouldn’t make it available to customers. I was planning on cooking a special little dinner for the Mrs as we are exhausted and hungry after taking care of our baby, but ended up making a trip myself to the grocery store. As long as you don’t care which day or time your groceries come, than this service is for you.

Horrible shopper. Im only giving this app a three star because they handled my issue so professionally. I ordered from target, my shopper proceeded to just substitute items that weren’t even similar to the items that were out of stock. The worst part is, he dropped my groceries off at random spot. I looked outside my door and none of my groceries were there. The shopper told me that it was my fault that he couldnt find my address! Then he basically said o well i guess your out of groceries then. Had he just told me he wasnt sure where to go, i would have given him directions on how to get to my apartment. But he lied. He just dropped my groceries off in a hallway, nowhere near my apartment. I canceled my subscription. Never again.

First SHIPT order!. I tried out SHIPT today for the first time as I needed an air fryer from Target. SHIPT had a $25 off coupon which was nice and delivery was only $10. The first thing I noticed about the app is how smooth it runs, no lag like Instacart or Walmart delivery! The app is very user friendly and welcoming. My only suggestion would be to add more stores for my area of San Diego, CA and to also make a way to view your shoppers profile. Nonetheless, I had a great first time experience with SHIPT and I’ll be using them for my Thanksgiving dinner. Note to others: I also used (Quadpay)/Zip on the order with no issues!

First time Shipt Shopper. We are using Shipt for the first time to get grocers for our elderly parent who doesn’t not drive. Our personal shopper, Haley K, texted me to let me know she was on her way to the store. She kept me informed during the shopping trip and sent photos of items to see if they were suitable for substitution. She was extremely proficient in her communication and extremely proficient in making sure our shopping order was correct! We are blown away by the service Haley K provided for our parent. Especially with us being out of state. Haley K made this experience an excellent experience and we hope we get her again. Definitely recommend Shipt!!!

Really bad service. My order was a purchase from Meijer in traverse city Michigan. Evan was my shipt deliverer. He only had 3 items to pick up for me. First he texted me at 1:17 pm to let me know he was shopping for my 3 items. Well…2 hours later he has still not delivered them. The window for delivery was 2-3 pm. He showed up finally at 3:30. Said he couldn’t find the address. Meijer is literally blocks away from my apartment. Second…he didn’t buy what was on my order. He was suppose to buy two of one item…and only bought one, and another item was bought in single boxes rather than bundled to save money like my Order stated. Third he didn’t communicate or give me options to buy differently. He seemed to care only about how many orders he could handle. He as awful!

Shipt is and their shoppers are AWESOME!. Our family had local shoppers that worked at the stores shop for us but unfortunately they don’t deliver. We found Shipt and have been using Shipt since and we have not been disappointed since! We absolutely love the shoppers who shop for us. They pay attention to EVERY detail, easy to navigate through app for shopping products or groceries, communication is on point and they are quick. I’ve even used Shipt to deliver groceries to a friend that was sick. We pay the annual fee for delivery instead of the $10 per delivery because we use Shipt so much and we definitely have gotten our moneys worth. Thank you Shipt shoppers and Shipt for making life a little easier.

Buyers Beware. This company was charges you more than what the grocery totals will be, which I understand holding your card for a certain amount but they never refunded the difference going as far back as January. It is now May when I called, they would not let me speak with anyone in charge, and the person on the phone just simply said it was refunded from their end. It was not. I had to go through my bank to get the money refunded. I wrote the Better Business Bureau about them. Their response to me was that because I went through my bank, they canceled my account. Today I found out they charged my card for their monthly membership fee of $4.99 I’m now trying to get refunded for that fee and their response is that I don’t have an account. Watch your bank accounts people, they are not refunding you the balances owed. Partners such as Target should think twice about their reputations with this business as well.

Weekly SHipt user. I like Shipt but there are a few things that should be updated. The BIGGEST items is that you should be able to elect NO PLASTIC BAGS use paper ONLY and put it in a setting that is saved. EASY enough but now w/ SHIPT. You have to remember to add it each time and there is not a proper location to make this request. Please fix. You should be able as well to pick your first and second shopper. SO it will get offered to your first choice, then after so much time offered to your second choice. It that can’t be done fine, Just fix the plastic bag request so it doesn’t have to be typed each time.

My experience with shipt.. I have had an awesome experience with all of my shipt shoppers. I feel like I am walking through the store with my shopper. If we can’t get something that I want my shoppers will offer options that I might like instead. This is a great timesaver and I appreciate The fact that the shopper actually drops to my house and delivers my groceries to me in my garage… This is awesome! Great for working people, great for someone who might beRecovering from an illness. Great for young mothers with children Or seniors who just need some assistance to get their groceries… Thank you

I once took Shipt quality for granted. Never again!. I was an early Shipt user, but I tried Instacart for a while and I HAD to come back to Shipt. The shoppers are always great and make life easier! You’d be surprised how counterproductive and even disruptive shopping services can be when you end up disputing every order. I won’t take Shipt for granted again especially in new mom life. Thanks so much!!!! Worst Instacart story: shopper buys the wrong item for 90% of my order including buying a jumbo box of size 3 diapers instead of size N for my newborn and giving me a shrimp skillet meal instead of chicken when I had to feed kids that were allergic to seafood 😩 If you’re struggling with other services there’s hope with Shipt!!!!

Horrible, Undependable Shoppers. The biggest flaw with this service is that it allows it’s “shoppers” to claim a delivery without holding them accountable for following through with the delivery on a timely basis. I have repeatedly had shoppers claim my order promising a delivery within a certain time frame to then just not complete it, thereby pushing my delivery timeframe back further and further. I regularly have shoppers claim my delivery very early, which then prevents other shoppers from claiming it and being able to fulfill the delivery on time or earlier. I have had ONE reliable shopper on this app. She claims the delivery and then immediately completes it and delivers groceries that aren’t damaged, moldy, and are exactly as ordered. ONE shopper in Chicago, a city that has become notorious for bad service across all service industries.

Saved my life. Having access to Shipt , which was the first of its kind in the area, has made it possible for me to keep spending winters in Vero. You may think it weird, but I do not have a car here in Vero. Renting a car or shipping my car down from home would have been a huge waste of money. I only need the car to grocery shop! When I do anything social my dear friends in the hood provide transportation. On rare occasions I use Uber etc. For the most part the shoppers have been wonderful. Those who were iffy did not last. I only mean that they screwed up orders or seemed anxious, as all the shoppers that I have met over the past five years have been very nice people. BTW, was hankering for flounder yesterday but was not available. Your fish person recommended the sole to my shopper Meredith. I agreed to sub-it was outstanding! I prepared coated with panko/ parmesan crumbs and a quick Compari tomato salsa😊 I just found this review on my phone. Yikes, did I never hit send last year or the year before of whenever I wrote this? Just in case submitting again! 👏👏👏

Best way to shop ever!. I’ve been using this app for over a year almost weekly. Not only does it save me time but the shoppers are so good they help me with sales or things they recall I normally buy but forgot to order. Best service ever and I feel like I get to know my shoppers. Always on time or early which you can’t say for other delivery services. Plus the variety of stores to choose from makes you wonder why ever retailer doesn’t want to be part of the new future of shopping. I love no impulse buys and remaining healthy by avoiding the in store shopping I used to do.

Before the chat update, it was a 5 star app.. The new chat feature has caused nothing but issues for me since it came out. During one of my orders, the message wasn’t even showing in the app for the first 15-20 minutes of shopping so I couldn’t message my shopper, even though I had a notification AND a text saying she had messaged me. On my most recent order, the chat feature was too slow and because of that my shopper missed one of my items completely because he didn’t get my response before he had checked out. This wasn’t the first time the chat feature was slow either. I’ve literally had an issue with it on every single order since they switched from texting. I get that a new feature like this takes time to get the bug fixes out and whatnot, but until it does run smoothly, they should still have the option to text.

Disabled and don’t drive. I’m happy I talked my self into joining Shipt I did the 30 day free trial was not sure I’d stay with it that said I’m very pleased with Shipt I tried another insta cart never again will I use them sorry if I’m wrong for mentioning them but to take advantage of a client is horrible With no response from the company with Shipt all my questions answered my shoppers are awesome even had a gentalman who did wonderful I get my order before time as well can’t say enough about Shipt just love the service and great full there is a service for people like me

Options in search. The options in search could be improved. For example I wanted one large yellow onion & one green bell pepper & red pepper flakes. I know these are items the store carries b/c I’ve purchased or seen them. I understand more complex items but these are simple & yet when I search regardless in search engine or by clicking department such as produce these items are not shown or listed. Maybe there’s an explanation but consistently there are simple items that don’t appear the only option is to make it a special request which leaves a blank amount for your overall total.

Terrible experience. So I have been using shipt for a minute and they been had some flaws I just looked passed them but today I can no longer use the app there shoppers are always late and some shoppers even get smart or they don’t get what you ask for or even don’t get it at all the. When you report missing item or almost all your items because they are missing or wrong they lock your account and don’t refund you your credits (your money)so you have to email them and go through a verification process and when your done verifying they don’t even refund you your credits still or open your account back up now I rated shipt one star but if I could I would rate it -000 I would they are terrible and have horrible customer service. Try Instacart if your looking for a grocery delivery app Instacart also have a lower delivery fee shipt has a 10 fee and Instacart has a 7.99 fee.

Not great.. I’ve used Shipt for my own groceries once to see what my customers see on their end. I was not contacted by the shopper until my groceries were delivered and then the message said she had just started shopping, I could contact her or she would contact me if needed. She brought only half the items I ordered. She substituted some items and not others, even though I requested no substitutes. I went to the same store immediately after I unloaded the groceries and was able to find almost all the items she left behind. Mostly produce & gluten free foods that are easy to find if you have the store map on your phone. I shop these services and always contact my customers when things are out or I can’t find them. I’m a little upset I wasn’t given the same service. I’ll continue to shop for my own groceries, it’s actually a time saver.

Why site has changed. Greetings make sure everyone knows that Shipit is amazing. Best kept secret for getting fresh food out there. Everyone was using this service all the other without mentioning names would be out of business. The service that you provide Way above par. Ratings would go through the roof if it was more widespread. It’s up to us as the end customer to support your service. By reading our shoppers and talking to Customer Service. By the way Customer Service is phenomenal. 30 seconds or less you’re connected to someone. In conclusion it’s a shame that we don’t see commercials about this. Thank you for being there for us. Great Job But Bad Service. So my account recently got disabled because I was accepting last minute orders that other shoppers were dropping due to it being close to the time that the packages had to be delivered by so instead of trying to attempt to send me a notification or email stating that I needed to get my on time percentage up they disabled my account meanwhile I was delivering 30-40 packages a day. So I was genuinely confused when they disabled my account after sending me orders with 10+ packages around 7 pm and wanting them to all be delivered by 8pm . And when you check my shopper stats it says that I had 100% on time for shop and deliver so it was evident that the only thing affecting my percentage was the deliveries they were sending me with impossible delivery times

About the tips. Some stores will not let me checkout without adding a tip this is wrong! I always tip very good, but when I tip $7-$10 or more on the store and only receive 1+3 items And pay the tip 5xs the price of the order that’s wrong! I pay as to what I receive not what I order because the store is always out of stock on almost everything I order. Trying to force a tip without seeing you items is wrong. Then you say call and I spend a hour trying to fix that and wrong items I received it a Hugh waste of my time. Y’all claim to save time, you don’t when I’m on the phone because of wrong orders or missing items ? You need to fix this at once!

Shipt is terrific. I tried Instacart through the pandemic. On four recent occasions the shopper spent more than $200 on themselves and I never received my groceries. So my $300 order was showing at times north of $600! Instacart did refund the order however, they never investigated the shoppers or corrected the problem. Hence the four occurrences. Credits promised were not received. I’m a 4-8 shops per month and consider that to be a good client to have. I’m hoping my experience with Shipt will continue to be a superior experience. I appreciated the communication with our shopper and the thoughtful replacements. Thank you for a great experience

Love the service, app needs some work. Shipt’s service was really needed during the pandemic, and it was much appreciated. Please fix the password reset. Email addresses are not case sensitive, but the reset mechanism is. Also, in modern society, a single individual is not always responsible for household groceries. The app does allow multiple phones to use the app simultaneously, but the forced tip and rating means that another user who simply wants to add something to the cart must add a rating and tip. It’s annoying, and “No tip” is easier to choose than coordinating with the user that placed the last order. Please move the tip and rating to the user phone that placed the last order.

Accessibility problems for VoiceOver users. Shipt is the most accessible grocery app I've ever used as a blind person navigating with VoiceOver. However, recently I've noticed that popups in search results are causing VoiceOver to lose focus. This includes search filters, item suggestions and so on. I often have to scroll back a page and forward again to find my place as opposed to being able to continue flicking left and right through the search results. Even when filling out the app survey, any time I selected an answer I was jumped to the top of the page and, when I found my place again, couldn't tell if my selection had been recorded. Ultimately I abandoned the survey and came here instead to write this review. Please pass this on to your developers; thanks!

You’re A Fool Not To Get This!! 🥰. It’s official, I’ve been subscribing to Shipt for 2 years!! And I’ll never go back to shopping in store ever again. The service is simple, easy, effective, and a huge headache saver! The shoppers are polite, and go above and beyond every time. Mistakes are easily corrected with a quick refund! Customer service from Shipt is excellent too. I literally recommend this service to anyone who will listen. And the price is unreal! It’s like $2 a week, which is cheaper than gas, and all the impulse purchases I would have made in store. They are always adding new stores, and now even let you choose which Target to shop from (the one in my town doesn’t have groceries). My only caveat is this: if shopping at target for anything but groceries, go through the target app. Shipt cannot do Target returns through their native app. The Target app has the Shipt delivery option built in for amazing convenience, and you get a target receipt for returns!

Communication goes a long way. The last time I ordered was not a good experience. The person who picked up my order…. Never communicated with me at all, in face, I ended up canceling my order because of the lack of it. I was really hesitant to try again… but, thought I would give it a second chance.. I was not disappointed! Theresa was very communicative with me from the moment she claimed my order to the moment she left my house. She let me know when they were out of certain items and made great substitutions. The only mistake was the milk…but that was totally on me. I didn’t specify that I wanted fat free. She brought a 2% …which was fine. She was very nice and quick. Definitely hope she will be available again next time I order. Happy customer 😊.

So flexible and so reliable. I’ve used Shipt for several years mostly to shop for my mom remotely, and we’ve never had a bad experience. Shoppers even got needing to communicate with me via text or to phone her because she’s not a text person for clarification. I’ve used it a few time for myself and I’m realizing when you don’t have time to run around, the shoppers are sanity savers! It’s great to have the ability to set different addresses, and Shipt is available so many places... I’ve used for shopping when I arrive somewhere late to stay in different locations, and it’s an empty fridge for breakfast. Hours for delivery are really flexible!

Above expectations!. My shopper today, Carolyn, went above and beyond my expectations today!!! She was a great communicator when the store was out of several of my items and even offered some wonderful suggestions. She did an amazing job and got my shopping done in a very timely manner and even brought them to my back door instead of just leaving them inside my garage. She was so kind and thoughtful throughout the entire experience! My husband just got home from the hospital and is very ill and this was an enormous blessing to have this taken care of for us today! Thank you Shipt and Carolyn!

Don’t use this. I’ve been using Shipt for years. Even though they charge higher price for items from store. That’s fine with me cuz their delivery are always on time and fast. But this year I’ve been told my order will be rescheduled many times. (I scheduled hours ago could’ve told me they don’t have staff to deliver until the time I scheduled) One time the shopper notified me he started shopping like an hour early than my scheduled time frame. Somehow never deliver my order in the scheduled time frame. I never got any message from shopper or shipt to tell me that. Will not renew my membership again. Disappointed too many times. I’d say don’t use this. Other grocery delivery service is better. More discounts. Charge less for items from same store. So far never late on my orders!

Disappointed. While I love the Shipt service, I am so disappointed in what’s become of the app! I no longer have My Favorites where I curated groups of regular purchases to help me quickly buy my usual offerings. I also used favorites to save the things I purchase for a specific recipe or to make a charcuterie board. It just disappeared! You may say just use the Buy Again area to repurchase often bought things. Wouldn’t that be nice? Mine says I have never purchased anything from the store that I have used Shipt to shop for 4 years. The app once was much better but has become a train wreck.

Shoppers always deliver to the wrong spot. My other review is not showing up for some reason, but STAY AWAY. My mother has Shipt and I’ve used her app to send groceries to my apartment because I’m a full time student with a full time job, but for the last few orders, they’ve arrived hours late and to the wrong spot. The shoppers just have not been able to find my apartment and it defeats the purpose of ordering groceries if I have to go out and try to find what porch they went to. I’ve been sent pictures of my groceries CLEARLY sitting in front of the wrong apartment number. I’m so frustrated because this app used to be so good and so reliable and now it just adds more stress and wastes what little time I already have. Train your people better. It’s not hard to find the right apartment.
