I'm a huge fan of curiosity stream, so I'm happy to have an app that can Cast! I like this UI better than the web app. Two minor bugs consistently bother me -- the iOS keyboard blocks the bottom search result, and when you cast something it keeps playing in the app (you have to pause it in the app, which is controlled separately from the stream being casted). Nice work though, it's a great app!
LOVE this app. Holey Mackerel. How'd I ever get by without it? Recommend it I do! I've not had the problems others mentioned in their reviews. That doesn't mean they're not experiencing those issues. I just haven't seen them. I've seen some awesome documentaries though. Yeah I did.
I been a subscribed for quite a while and I love the Curiosity Stream content. However, the current iPad app is a bit buggy and video stutters and sometimes doesn't play. It would be good if the interface can provide some graceful feedback when the connection is epxeriencing streaming problems.
I need to be able to download content.
Crashes all the time on me, love the material though
App is not polished at all - glitches everywhere. Support for chrome cast also constantly glitches.
I primarily use the browser.. but when I want to use the iPad, I have no problems finding something to watch. GREAT EDUCATION TELEVISION!
It crashes 2 times I reach the end of the video. Fix it
Horrible people!! I can not unsubscribe from this! Do not get trapped!!!
But it freezes all the time and has weird bugs and glitches.

Re-downloaded the app after a couple months away. Loved the content back then, but now that I've returned and signed up for a paid subscription and the app crashes every time I click on a video. iPhone7. Fix this please.
When wide scrolling to view other titles available the app creates when I pick one. If I don't side scroll but select the first one showing it opens just fine to show me details. If scroll and tap one to open further along, the app suddenly closes.
Not only is the picture quality unbelievable (HD and optional 4K), but the app has a great collection of documentaries that you won't see anywhere else. If you like the Discovery Channel then you'll love CuriosityStream. They have the same roots. It's a subscription service that's half the price of Netflix. The first month is FREE so you can try it. It's month to month after that. I'm hooked!! Check out the episode on automatons! And check out the Classic Car series. The photography is mind blowing!
So after all that time of setting up, I can't try it without paying? Goodbye.
Great mix of content with updates weekly. Helpful features like bookmarks and my favorite which is a search option for 10 minute or less shorts. Also on Apple TV with this update.
App gets stuck in a crash loop after putting app in split screen mode with another app on iPad. It's very difficult to get it out of split screen mode because it crashes immediately after restart.
I like this. But please correct the color scheme. On an iPad 4th generation, if I haven't rated a show, when I try to rate it, I cannot see the star outline. Same thing if I search for an item and it's not found. The text is unreadable. Also, please offer a feedback option.
Great new shows available. You need to sign up on their site (like you do with Netflix) to get access.
Really dumb that there is no way to sign up in the app and no instructions.
I haven't tried the app so I can't review on that, but it seems the only payment methods are credit card or gift card, it won't charge monthly on itunes card, so I can't use this app, it's unfortunate because I really wanted to use it!!!
