App needs to be updated. App currently broken w/ several cams out of service (one is pointed into someone’s house?), several of the “movies” don’t load, and usually that would be fine in some cases but the “forecast” page doesn’t show the planet w/ aurora ovals anymore- it’s just dark. Please update this app with fixes!!!

A Most Important App. The Space Weather App is the fastest and most accurate of all apps dealing with the space weather indicators. Due to increased health risks associated with space weather, this app is more than just informative. It can provide an early warning for those affected by increased space weather indices. This allows for those with increased sensitivities to the effects of space weather, to anticipate and prepare. An excellent app and service provided by the developer. It’s a “must have” app in the new world of space weather we are experiencing.

Space Weather Novice. I’m very new to all this space weather stuff but I find it extremely fascinating. This is a great app for people trying to find out what’s going on out there without being overly technical. Truly informative.

Rapid fire Push Notifications. Push Notifications fixed. 8 or 16 identical Notifications simultaneously. One would be sufficient. Please fix it. That pertains to the previous version. I see there’s an update. I will gladly change my review and rating if the problem has been resolved. I don’t know what I’m looking at but got it to get ideas about seeing the Northern Lights.

Aurora images in my pocket. I hope to see an aurora in real life someday, and I think this app will help me do that. I wish I could set alerts to tell me of likelihood of auroras occurring, but in the meantime, the other alerts give me a good idea when to look that up myself within the app.

OK app but not updating. I purchased this app because I’m a ham radio operator and I need to be up-to-date on solar activity. It worked well for the last year but seems to be stalling /functioning poorly now. The app tells me the solar wind is low but if you correlate with spaceweather.com, the solar wind is very high today. The Histogram re: KP index terminates on Nov 30 but today is Dec 10 so what happened to the missing time period? I checked for an update but none is available. Running latest IOS on apple 6s phone. Wondering what the issue is?

Problem. After the latest update, the app will not load. Starts to, but only shows a red screen. Nothing else. Needs to be fixed. I have the latest iOS update. Update: App is now working again. I enjoy this app due to all of the information that it has. Anyone who is interested in the effects that the sun has on the earth aside from the obvious needs this app.

No longer shows longer term forecasts. This version no longer shows multi day Kp forecasts which I found of great importance in planning responses to space weather events. There are also too many alerts / or more exactly, no way of selecting the frequency of alerts.

Informative and easy to use.. Well done and informative. Easy to navigate.

This App. Despite the “opportunities” this app had the most important to me are the alerts. And I received them. The update is most welcome and grateful for it….

Love the info, hate that I can’t stop the alerts. I love the info, the graphics, and the clear explanations. I signed up for alerts but am getting so many every day that I have had to keep my phone silenced. I live in a wildfire area and need to be able to hear updates and evacuation alerts. Despite many tries, I cannot turn off this app’s alerts in settings. I think others may have had this problem. I like this app but will jettison it if I must so I can use my phone again.

Very Good, Easy To Use. This app is User Friendly, I like the Notifications. The background pics are pretty. This is a very good app for people who want to be kept up to date on solar activity. I even appreciate the Push Notifications that all is quiet.

Phenomenal App For All Space Enthusiasts!!!!. I came across Space Weather on my Google Newsfeed..every week different websites offer apps for free for a very limited time that you’d normally be charged for. So glad this was one of the apps that was chosen!! If you are interested / love / all /anything Space related this is a MUST HAVE!!!! Amazing pics of the sun, lets you know the chances of an Aura & where it’s best visible & when storms are occurring in the Geofield!!!!!!! Ahhhmazinggg!!!!!

Doesn’t work anymore. Don’t get this app. It doesn’t work anymore as it’s not updated. The web is not registered anymore either.

Great app. Great, informative app about solar activity and its effects on Earth.

Would be fantastic but.... I would love this but...I did not agree to a monthly subscription when I installed it and uninstalled it this morning. After uninstalling it 2 days after initial received a receipt showing my first subscription payment. Same info available from nasa for free.

Update disabled use. Was a great app until last update now all it does is shows photos, no information and can’t adjust settings. Nothing there. Sad

iOS 9 on 6+ nothing..?. Seems completely useless on iOS 9.1 on iPhone 6+ ... None of the menus seem to work- cannot determine location- useless. Holding out for new version as such good previous reviews...

Great Recent Update. I like my Space Weather App but don’t check it as much as I should. That’s why I really like the recent update. I think the app is much faster and easier to use, and the font is much larger too. This app uses the latest technology to describe the weather in space, which of course includes the effects and conditions of the Sun. I recommend this app to anyone with an interest in science. It might sound very technical but it’s worth following the information it provides to appreciate it’s Importance.

One of my must have apps. Love everything about this app. Wondering if there will ever be an update that adds a widget so I can get “at a glance” info as well though.

Doesn't work anymore.. Worked great on iOS 12 and lower versions. Upgraded to iOS 15 and now it's kaput. Won't display the index in "Today" and won't displaywss index in "last 24". bummer, was a good app. Apple's new iOS and macOS both have buggy issues w/ third party apps & devices.

Good info, some minor bugs. Good information and well-presented. However on an iPad in horizontal orientation, text scrolling doesn’t work and an empty white box appears on the right side of the display.

A Small Issue. I personally find notification badges visually irritating. If this describes you also, be advises there are too many "notifications" of nothing of any consequence, for instance, a day with no or little chance of auroral activity will have a badge informing you... that there is no chance of auroras! WHY?

Cd43. A very informative app concerning our star - the Sun. I highly recommend this awesome app.

Seems to work the opposite of the forecast. Down loaded to keep track of gps. When it says space weather is the worst gps seems to work the best

Too many alerts. Handy app, useful, but getting a push notification every few minutes when the K-index goes high gets really annoying. 9 alerts saying the exact same thing in the space of a half hour gets old.

Too many alerts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Please stop it with the daily alerts even when there is no danger!!!!!!!!! Tell me when there is something unusual or dangerous. If you don’t turn it down, I’m quitting your app.

Good push notifications, app updates. I ditched another app that no longer got updated in favor of this one a few weeks ago and have not been disappointed. I receive daily push notifications on aurora conditions, which don't really apply to me in Texas, but the Forecast tool is handy to see current space weather status overview. My main interest is in solar storms which this covers. Quality app that spears trustworthy so far with a lot of interesting content though.

2.0 Update is Awesome!. Wow the speed of the most recent update is amazing. It’s so quick! Pair that with push notifications and I don’t know what more I could ask for. Seeing the different images available is a bonus as well. I always hope I’ll be in range to see aurora!

Bold, useful. I love the look and feel - and the presentation of the data. Only change I would encourage is to bring more of its features into the open - for example, in the menu, to find the aurora oval, it's tucked away under explore. I find that counterintuitive when it could be a sidebar or placed in a configurable location. Otherwise, great app!

Love this ap. I started to use this for an Anatomy course but now I am addicted. The best part is this gives you warnings. Our space weather is important and this app shows why. From finding out when/where the next light show is to GPS interruptions this app tells you all.

Update your app please. It’s been 11 mo since its been updated. Sorry to say I’m uninstalling it.

Excellent, Detailed Space Weather App!. This app is excellent, not only will it give you detailed current space weather information, it has very customizable, Alerts, and an excellent assortment of images and movies that let you look deeper into space weather conditions, such as solar wind, LASCO and other satellite, raw data, and a host of other goodies! I use this in conjunction with SpaceWeatherLive app, and I find that both of them together, give you the full experience of being able to quickly and easily search at any time for current space weather/Aurora conditions, as well as receiving customizable alerts that will let you know when you may expect aurora in your location! This is NOT like those super simple, dumbed down, apps, like aurora forecast, or aurora pro, this app is something special!

App needs updating. Most of it appears to work but it's the old zoomed in style app from before HD became a thing on iOS. I have very little confidence in it, which is disappointing considering the price.
