Not worth a download. I originally downloaded this game for a chance to win a drone (I didn’t win), played the game for a month and I’ll be deleting the app today. It’s a tedious real time upgrading game with no in game action. You don’t get to control attacks with your troops or even watch them attack others. There’s 2 ways to succeed in the game, spend a bunch of money or get into an active clan with a high level chief that sends resources (I got lucky and got into a top clan). There’s some really bad bugs in the game like being able to send an attack and then shield or relocate before the troops even arrive at their destination to complete their attack. It makes it impossible to punish players for attacking you or your clan. There’s a ton of inactive players on the map and it’s clear why. It’s a boring, tedious real time builder, if you’re into these kind of games play clash of clans at least in that game you get to set up your village, and actual attack with your troops. If it wasn’t for the drone giveaway I would have quit this game after an hour of playing. Also, their help forum doesn’t even have a chart that shows upgrade costs and building times, it’s a little thing but very important. A lot of little things wrong with this game that add up.

They don’t take care of their customers,. They take your money, if their games glitch they deny it, their server is to small for the amount of people they have myself and numerous others play the game and because of the issues they have we have lost lots of money and items, spent weeks working on a hat of swales, and because of a glitch in game , it sent me to a different screen, and when it did it dismantled, this person contacted support and got basically a of well, WARNING, don’t spend your money if you play, your wasting it, another person lost over 5 million troops because of another glitch, they got nothing to compensate them either, people have lost entire towns because of lagging in the game and not being able to sheild, they say it’s not their game, we are all over the world, so how can we have the same issues at same time !!! A lot of upset customer

Dear Plarium, I’m upset. A couple months ago I got a resources subscription and a development subscription. Once I finished using all my boosts, I still had a massive amount of resources piled up so understandably, I extended my peace treaty. Here’s the problem, yesterday it was due to expire but when I got the notification to renew it, it had already been deactivated for 2 hours. Had the notification come at the proper time I wouldn’t have any issues but now I don’t have any resources and remember how I said I used all my boosts? Majority of it was on training which is now all gone. Please fix this and is there any sort of reconciliation gift I can receive?

Overall Fantastic. I love this game. Have been on and off playing it for about 3 years now. The dev is always providing new and engaging content. The one issue I have along with thousands of other players is the Pioneer achievement. There are tons of abandoned cities on those coordinates. There should be a if/then statement or a while loop that runs on those cords and boots players off so others can advance their achievement. It is very discouraging when a level three town has been in one spot for 10 weeks since their lat visit. Just put a rule on the specific cords to move them one tile up, down, left, right after a certain period of time. Stop letting people be jerks. That rant being said, I still intend to play and enjoy the game. I just wish they would implement this easy fix.

This is my favorite mobile game of all time. This game is extremely fun and interesting to play. There is tons of features and gameplay along with exploration. The only bad thing I could really say about this game is that the developers could maybe take more time to design different things and maybe upgrade to graphics a bit. But other then that the gameplay is amazing and there is so much to do. Something that I think would be cool to see is maybe all out wars with tons of clans in tons of different teams going head to head. And maybe be able to create your own hero. I think that would be really cool. I play this game everyday and I highly recommended it.

Platinum does not enforce game rules. This game consists of global competition between different kingdoms. Sometimes pitting stronger kingdoms against weaker ones. During an event your method of play will change, and after the event because the risk is back to normal, you can again change your method of play. Each event has a start and stop time, so you know when to adjust. But Plarium does not control or enforce the rule of the stop time. So stronger players from an outside Kingdom can stay in the weaker Kingdom after the event is over and hit players that are not expecting to get hit from a player who should not be in your Kingdom. I bring this up because after corresponding with Plarium, it became obvious they do not care. They have rules of play, such as the stop time of the event, but they do not enforce rules or compensate you for losses because another player did not play by the rules. Complying to the rules of the game makes a game fair and controls how you adjust your playing. Not enforcing rules of the games makes the game unfair and unpredictable.

Still weird out by this app being shouted out a lot. First of the game requires a really fast WiFi/connection and I’m using a hotspot with this stuff on top of it says LTE and withe 3 bars of signals. Pretty decent enough for the speed, but the app decides to be annoying and not download and the thing is I could use WiFi but my WiFi isn’t great and it’s not decent enough for the app. But my two stars is nothing compared to the one star ratings. I’m only giving them 2 stars because the support group was helpful and I got a little mad when they called me jarl I later found out it meant king so I’m gave them an extra star. This was the best game... I started playing this game years ago. It has meant a lot to have this game in my life. I made some great friends across the world. I became closer to family and friends near me that also play. I deleted all other games on my devices. I have spent a small fortune in the game. Sadly, over the last couple of years the updates have made the game not as much fun. Apparently the creators cannot keep up with their servers either. When I can load the game, it just isn’t as much fun to play. They have made the CVC about as much fun as a root canal. That was the event that my clan always enjoyed the most. I’ve found myself downloading other games to play when I can’t load the game. Now I find myself spending my money in other games. I love Vikings. I wish they had kept it a bit more like it used to be. I give three stars for what the game used to be. This was the best game….

Not pay to play, just pay to win.. Played actively for a few years and ran one of the largest clans in my kingdom. The games billed as being free to play, which is true, but the biggest players in the game have literally dumped tens of thousands into the game and with the near daily multi-kingdom events, said monster players will always be appearing in your kingdom and smashing you down to nothing if you can’t afford to constantly keep yourself shielded, which will involve you purchasing in game gold just to keep from getting cleaned out constantly. Even with that, you are going to need to put several hundred dollars into the game just to be competitive on the lowest level. If you can’t find someone that’s spent a couple grand to protect you, there’s no point in playing. On top of all that Plarium is just awful regarding their customer service. Sending out cookie cutter responses to questions or issues if they reply to you at all. They are strictly looking to milk Just don’t bother.

Solid deal. Was on dominations and saw offer. Earned 4300 crowns(!) for getting yo level 10. During the test period I actually found the game to become enjoyable. I was not marauded by evil billionaires. There mere many small cities come and gone, but vast areas of territory with no visible active threats. A friendly invitation to a Dutch speaking clan but no sprechian ze doiche either (nor German). It seems that one could learn to engage in its world nicely and find myself doing a f2p and see where it goes. No great introductory offers I could understand, it can try to trick you into using tokens for upgrades but caveat emptor I guess. So as far as I was promptly paid a hefty Dominations reward, I can’t find too much bad to say about it so far. I suppose if I log on a few times a day, doing task, I will find more adventures and ultimately will meet friends and foes...

Good game, but.... Okay, so first off this is very much a pay to win game. That’s to be expected, even non pvp games are nowadays. But unless you have money to spend, you won’t exactly be a big influence player very quick. On the bright side most packs are very fairly priced for what you get. The one complaint I have with this game: too many fricking killing events. You can’t enjoy the results of a big KvK event because there’s a Clan battle coming up really quickly afterwards, you have less than a day to yield without a target on every troop you send out. I really hope Plarium fixes this because it is a series problem to many players, and it’s the only reason this game is not getting five stars from me.

Just Say No. This game starts off slow. You will build your town. Make some really cool looking battle characters. The map for the hundred plus Kingdoms you will battle in are really cool. You will engage with some great people get excited when you win battles and build. Actually the best part about this game is the people you will interact with. You will spend $$$ and be amazed at all the real money just wasted on this game. I've been playing this game for over a year. Built a decent size account spent more money than I care to acknowledge. You can go awhile without spending any money but everything in this game is about money. Main reason why Im giving a review for this game though is because of the technical issues you will have. You can loose access to your account very easily and to get it reactivated is not an easy task. Logging in isn't as easy as a password so to get connected you will have to literally start whole new account. I've lost access to my account 3 times mainly because I have two accounts and switching between them is sometimes confusing. Each time it took several days of emailing the technical teams personal information to prove who I am. During this time my account is left open to be attacked and all that real money I spent to build my town just gets burned. Long story short just say no avoid even getting into this game. It will cost you more money and time then it's worth.

Great Game. This game is a lot of fun. I have been playing daily for 7 months and have enjoyed the competitions, challenges, and the opportunity to make new friends. There are a whole lot of Russian players & that can lead to communication difficulties, but as long as you choose a clan that speaks the same language you do, you shouldn’t have any problems. I rarely buy Bank Offers & still rank in the top 3 in competitions. The game is what you make it. There is a whole lot to learn though - be patient. It took me about three months to feel as though I had a solid understanding of the many aspects of the game. Alway keep your shield up! Skøl!

First look upon game. This game on first glance is your normal not the most original game on the App Store this one being about Vikings. Although being a clone almost it’s pretty complex and kinda fun. The tutorial is quite long but at least tells you the basics of the games and how to build stuff. What should be in the game is a block because there is usually a bot named SYSSTEM3 or something spamming every time someone talks GET FREE GOLD ON THIS WEBSITE or something close. What I wish that there was more people that speak English on the game a majority of the people that play this game are Russian or European which I have no problem with just wish I can understand them. The reasons beside the cons is that this game is kinda fun pretty complex as d hard but not bad for a IOS game. 4/5.

Amazing game if you make the right choices. I love this game to its core! I joined a great clan so I wouldn’t be attacked by any other while I could raid AI run camps for supplies and prepare my army for an actual war against an equally powerful enemy. I did my challenges and tasks to constantly gain rewards. If you made the right decisions this game is extremely fun and addicting. I love the passive resource gain. I could stop playing for like 4 days and come back to loads of supplies that I can enjoy spending. I love that they give you early helpful currency like gold and silver so that I could buy more supplies absolutely free if I needed them. I currently manage that currency well enough to have enough to buy whatever I want in the game. I have currently spent no real money but have gotten so far for hardly no work! I manage my town well and prosper because of it.

Don’t listen to some of these!. This game is a lose/win game. Don’t get butt-hurt if you get raided a bunch. This game is very fun to a certain group, a group of people who will fight to come on top, even when they have been brought down time and time again. A peace treaty doesn’t mean you won’t die, you might get your guards bribed. That has happened in REAL life, prepare yourself for war and more war. And if you get attacked, you should try to get a clan so they can help rebuild you, then ally with other clans, then kill the person who took you DOWN. Here is a summarization. YOU BUILD UP, YOU GAIN WEALTH AND POWER, YOU GET CHALLENGED, YOU MIGHT LOSE IT ALL, YOU LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES, JOIN A CLAN, MAKE ALLIANCES WITH OTHER CLANS, TAKE THE PLAYER WHO TOOK YOUR WEALTH AND POWER AND SEND. Repetitive gameplay that's expensive. I've been playing the game for year, because of the social aspect of the game. The actual gameplay is laggy at best, sometimes taking a minute or more to get results of the battles, especially in global events like Asgard. Development is slow and I'll thought out, often giving you little advancement, or impossible to achieve unless you are in the highest ranked clans, and spend thousands every month. Support is quick to get back to you if there is a problem, but doesn't enforce the rules of gameplay, almost always say it is your device or network, even when the same issue is experience d by all players. The newest puzzle feature, takes maybe a couple of hours to complete, leaving you to do the same puzzles every day to get the meager daily rewards. There is no way whatsoever to play the game for free, and be competitive. per the developer response: They are always quick to get back to you, they just never do anything to help out. The features that they add to the game are not what people are asking for. They want a game that is stable, and balanced, which this gam3 is neither.

Needs. This game is awesome! However, the chat needs serious re-evaluation; I’d advise adding an ability to translate the different languages - the majority of chat speaks Russian and unfortunately where I come from they do not teach Russian so, naturally, I’d like to be able to translate it into English so I can understand what they are saying. Also, I don’t know why I cannot add apostrophes to words like “I’m,” or “it’s,” it is extremely frustrating. I’d also like to note that as of right now, on a mobile device, I cannot copy or paste anything in chat which is extremely frustrating as well. Please make at least some efforts to fix these problems. (Because otherwise my brain will explode ... figuratively speaking of course 😂). I’ll add a pretty please just for safe measures too, oh and imagine that I’m on my knees begging as well, while cupping my hands and shaking them tears streaming from my face to add a dramatic flare to it. Ok I’m done now lol.

I have been playing this game since 2016. This game use to be fun and very active when it was new. I have had to start over several times over the years due to game glitches that have either dropped sheild weeks early allowing others to attack and take many billions of resources killing all the troops and ruining the characters score. I have also had to restart from losing my phone or iPad able to retrieve the account even though it was backed up. I am no stranger to dumping $20. Every week per account in this game just to try keeping up. I play 5 different accounts on different devices several times a day just to stand a chance and I have realized one thing. You will never be the strongest player in any kingdom without many hundreds of dollars and being well informed of what order to do everything. I did the math tonight and have dumped over $1000. In this game and still don’t have much to show for it. I continue to play but only for the friends I have met over the years. Every update adds something new you have to invest in to stay on top. Without boost, lots of resources, gold, time, game knowledge and a good clan you will never stand a chance.

Would rate 5 but.... I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH!!! My only problem is, half of the game has russian players and russian clans. I can understand and speak Russian but some of the things they enter in chat make no sense. Like for example someone from russia sent a text to me i translated (with my own knowledge) it didn't seem right. It translated too "your dog is shielded by the shed cow" so i put it through translate and this is what it gave me: "my shield is a dog inside a cow shed". I am unsure as to what he was trying to say. So i ask, Can you make the chat translated? Like if someone sends a text, you can tap the sentence or chat box, it changes to your desired language. It would be really helpful for me. Thx 😘 (you should really download this game! Its awesome and fun)

Worst customer support ever. Just Respond with form letters and do not address the issue. Would not assist in any tangible way to my problem. Basically they stole my account by not giving me access when my original account (that I had invested money in) was lost when device I was playing on broke. They had me start new account and then stuck me with the new account at introductory level. No amount of emails, screen shots, information given received anything other than a form letter and eventually a "we can't help you because you didn't respond with what we needed" even though I gave them every answer they requested. So if you play, it's a crap shoot. Because if you ever need support, you will not get it. I'm out a few hundred bucks. You could lose more. I will not give another dime to such a worthless group of thieves.

Worst gaming company ever. Honestly I don’t know how anyone can rate this game higher than a 1, maybe paid reviews from company to boost ratings? I’ve played for over 6 months and paid in close to $1000 to grow my account, and yes it takes that kind of money to even compete at all in this game! For that kind of cash you would think you would get great gameplay and support, but sadly that is not the case. There are constant problems with lag and dropped connections. When you write to support you get pre-written boilerplate responses that say it is the player’s equipment and internet service that is the problem, even when your entire international clan is having the exact same problem. Bottom line, don’t play this game unless you want to spend big money for even bigger disappointment! Shame on Plarium and shame on you if you support them. Case in point, even the developers response below is a canned reply to several other bad reviews!

Customer service. Unless you can physically prove an error existed, do to lag or game interruption.... to a fault of developer your not going to get very far From the basis of free to play your customer service is automatic messeges that result in “game works fine clear your cache” especally when 200 players in single server saying same thing.... iso, google, or pc... clear your cache works fine Bugs occur that drop your protection sheild followinf update Ẽample 8week timer on your sheild applied.... could log in tommrow and be without it because game drops this.. There is no refund aspect. If your looking at a time killer game avoid it... dont do it...save yourself the headache and run now it was fun for about 5 years now, and players vary through the game... I enjoyed this entertainment value for awhile, they arent running a platform for repeated bussiness and im sure itunes traffic regarding their games customer service is in heavy flow Recap: if you havent started find a differnt game, save yourself the time, headache, and money in this Its not free to play... its a spend to win game... but even then your at mercy of bad servers, bad customer service, and terriable lags (constant for a month now) where you cant even log into game via wifi, 4g, pc, facebook, or google play... Strategies and discipline. This game is very addicting! I thoroughly enjoy it and encourage others to play. Yes as one bad review mentions, there are a lot of Russian players. However there are also, Unites States, South Africa, Germany, Spain, Australia, etc. that plays. The game is very strategic and some what mathematical. To ensure you are the strongest clan it requires discipline by yourself AND your clan mates. Sure you can purchase extras; However if you are in a strong disciplined clan you will receive extras through clan competitions. There are also personal competitions that coincide with the clan competition so you can get points for both events... and so on. I took a star away for the constant maintenance that is being done and the minor glitches as my wheel spins and reconnections more times than I would like. Overall it is a fun game and you can also play from PC ?as most of my clan members do) I play from my iOS device!

Love it!. I absolutely love this game! I have been playing for a few months now and it’s been great. I love they there are new challenges every day and that we are given gifts daily and even after an update/technical fix. I’m also loving the new bank that just launched today. I started playing this game on a whim thinking it was going to be just as boring as a lot of the others but it’s not. I have met some pretty amazing people on here as well and discovered that some of them play on a pc which is pretty cool. This company has found a way to have both pc and app gamers come together. Overall this is a great game with amazing graphics and play.

Scam. It’s all just a big scam.. Game of War: fire age. Final fantasy XV: a new empire Clash of kings And now, Vikings: war of clans. Every single one of these games are no different, you only build and get everything free. There’s no real point to it and there’s an ungodly amount of marketing out into it. You collect the same resources. You have the same Troops. It’s all the same. The only improvement to make to this game is to make a different game because right now, it’s the exact same as every other top down rts. I understand it’s a free to play and that means there’s limited funding but god knows one company or another is going to copyright the same cookie cutter way of making these ignorant top down rts’s. The idea is cool but it’s not different from those games I just listed at the top. If someone other than the developer is reading this, turn back now or feel the agony of over spending on marketing.

RSS and tile hitting. I really enjoyed the game til recently, one of the biggest scams and flaws is an action known as tilehiting. This is where you send troops to gather resources to help build your town and if lucky your clan strong hold. In other games like the Warner Brothers Lotr game that this looks to be a clone of they protect your troops if resource gathering or camped outside the city for 24 hours. I feel that at the very least if you pay to peace treaty your tow your resource gathers should be protected. I know no one really reads the negative reviews and this will probably be one that falls by the wayside. I am glad I am done spending money on a beta quilts game. Not as much as some players do but I have spent close to 100 usd in the two months.I also plan on telling the Youtuber who suggested the game to pull his support for it because he is an honorable man and this game is far from honorable with the double billing and tile hitting. So, I went to the link for the support page and your answer was so unclear I presented to the youtuber who I trust and he agrees that it s a canned non answer, answer. There is an item that you have to win (now explanation as to what event or drop rate) to get this “Domain Guard “ from.

Lost interest. I’ve been playing this game for about 2 years. I loved befriending people all around the world and working with them to beat these events. They have updated it so much since I’ve started playing that I’ve lost interest. With all the updates they have done, you can just throw money into the game and win it for your clan, which means, if you got money, you will win every time. When I play a game, I want to ACTUALLY PLAY the game. Many times, my clan would be working their butts off to win this event and then last minute, they would buy all these packs and we would lose. After this happening over and over again, you don’t even wanna try because most of them are spenders. Every time you buy a pack, the packs next time offered become more expensive. In order for people who aren’t well off to spend money in the game to get a really good pack that doesn’t cost a lot, you have to wait for the mega packs (which you can get after not spending anything on the game for 2 MONTHS!!).

Read below. This game like others is in a way pay to win. You can always buy with real currency to speed up the time you grow and become stronger. There is a way you can grow with just 20$ every 3 months too. For those who don’t mind spending on games I highly recommend. As I have played many mobile games but this one differs. Mainly by the community and the studio developers. The community of players is very welcoming and events in game are competitive, friendly and will have you addicted. This is a company who listens to its players. They are always there to help. I haven’t ever came across a company this welcoming to players helping them through every step of the way. By far better then other similar games like Game of War(Coming from someone who played GoW for 3years) -Atlas-

It cheats you. To get you to spend more money. Got on yesterday said I had a piece treaty for 1 day and 14 hours I go to work the next day and in less than 25 I was attacked by the same person over 20 times in less than 15 minutes. I barely have 40 million in influence while the person who hit me had over 1 billion in influence. Still lost on how my piece treaty went away before it was to expire I should have had at least 12 hours minimum left. So not only was I cheated out my piece treaty but then cheated by someone who was 500 times better than me minute after minute after minute sometimes in the same minute. Also makes me wonder if it was a developer of the game to try and get me to spend more money to pay over 300k in gold to bring back troops that did nothing. In most games like this when you lose in a attack it gives you a temp shield to build things back up. But not this game they just let the same person attack you over and over and over. And who really wants to wait over 60 weeks for something to upgrade? Or wait that’s so they think you will spend money on a stupid game that cheats you out of rss. Will be giving all my other 400 million rss to clan members and deleting this game off my phone. Would give it less than one star but the App Store won’t let me. So here I give it -1 star

Honestly. I have seen all the reviews and everyone is right. There are issues with the game plarium has bad customer service and sends generic responses and never really addresses your issue. I have had shields drop early and loose everything or I have bought a pack and never got it but still spent the money for it. There are so many things you can complain about and never get a resolution but I’ll say this I do love the game. Just play smart and learn from others. It is what it is so either play or don’t but there are a lot of issues and I’ve seen so many big players quit. From a business perspective I would think you would do things to keep those players, in the end they are the ones that spend money and when they quit that’s less money for plarium. Oh well nothing will ever change unless we are treated like a real person. Any time you spend money with a company and you are not satisfied with service or the product usually that company does the right thing.

I hate this game. I’ve been playing this game for years and all this is, is a money grab. Eventually any upgrades will take weeks and even years to complete, the cost to heal your fallen troops cost gold which realistically you have to spend money to get, because the amount of gold you earn freely is minuscule. I lost over 100,000 troops today and it is going to cost 7,000,000 gold which is at least $1000 to revive half of them the other half are gone for good. One of the other players told me they had a knowledge upgrade that is going to take 10 years to complete. Are you effing kidding me, screw this company. Wish I could get all the time effort and money back that I spent on this game!!!!!! Edit: What a laughable response, your just proving my point and no amount of effort is going to help with a 10 year upgrade except spending thousands of dollars or legit waiting the 10 years.

It’s a very good game but changes are needed. I love this game and I’ve been playing since 2016 but it has never been perfect, i think the ability to send gold and boosts to clan mates would be awesome, I’ve wanted this to be a thing for a while now and I know many others would like this. Another thing that I think needs change is the account system on iOS, I would like to be able to switch accounts much easier because to switch I have to type in my password and everything it’s just not convenient. Another thing that I would like to see is bank offer prices go down I have noticed that the bank offers have gotten worse and more expensive than before. I also think the drakker item needs to be nerfed it has torn my kingdom apart and this item is used way too often so maybe a 60day cool down. Like I said I love the game and I only want good for it and I know people are with me on these changes it would mean a lot if you guys could add these suggestions;)

Beware it’s unplayable once they hook you. Maybe new players in new kingdoms can play without glitches. But for us seasoned players in older kingdoms, the game has become completely unplayable-continuous blue circles with every button pushed. So this will happen to you too eventually - you will sink money into a game you won’t be able to play. This company is now taking people’s money and not delivering the service they promised. And guess what - they say it is their right to do this because they forced you to sign their Terms of Service where they say they are allowed to have glitches and errors. So once you invest $$$, you have a choice to either quit and forget about that investment or play the lowest quality game around, period. Save your money and time - choose something else, unless Plarium renews their commitment to make the game playable again.

Torn. So first off this is an awesome game and has me addicted ! That being said I am seriously considering ending my play ! I have spent a lot of money on this game to get where I am but like many other players not satisfied at all with plarium and it’s customer service. I have had shields drop because the game was down for maintenance. By the time I was able to get back on to reshield I have been completely wiped out costing me sometimes a couple hundred dollars to retrain my soldiers and by rss. There response is that everyone is allowed back on the system at the same time . Well that’s fine if everyone is sitting there waiting to get back on at exactly the time the game goes back up, however some of us have lives outside of the game with jobs, children, sleep etc so because the game was down when I needed to reshield and I am not able to sit there waiting for who knows how long( because they don’t tell you how long they will be down for) then I am out all the time, money, and energy I have spent to get there. I don’t have to start completely over but sometimes feel as though I might as well. Very discouraging to spend money like that and have them not care whatsoever !

Nice game, just a few little additions. I really enjoy the game and the graphics and how quickly I was able to progress from buying a few little cheap $5 packs which made the game really enjoyable for myself, but a few things I’d like to see are something to move my buildings around just for personal satisfaction and tidiness as I do change my layout a bit and would like to see specific buildings in one area. Another nice addition would be to make some army presets instead of me having to manually add in a specific number of troops to attack or help reinforce one of my allies, other than that I think the game is great and makes it really easy if you want to compete for relatively cheap :)

GOOGLE PLAYSTORE DOESNT MONITOR APPS. Apparently, Google doesnt do a good enough job monitoring whether apps upheld contractual provisions! This game is the most expensive game that Ive ever played. This game doesnt monitor the gameplay nor chats as its suppose to. This game doesnt fix nor resolve player issues/complaints as suppose to. This game has unethical, unfair, selective selling and offering practices for in-app items, which they arent suppose to do at least not per US laws. And theres no way this apps overall total amount of downloads NOR rating is correct...dont believe it! One player I saw had more than five accounts he had set up, so their total number of downloads for this app is not accurate. And just quickly scan over while comparing the good versus bad reviews...aint no way their displayed rating is right either! Oh and apparently only Apple reviews or IOS reviews are all thats seen, no reviews from others such as Google or Microsoft are posted!

Needs help in one area. Rss is a little tough to come by for the new updates. Even if I had the ability to buy every pack I feel you still fall short. A couple small changes could greatly change this. Remove cap from rss produced in town allow us to always be producing no matter what we are carrying already for rss. I understand the developer needs to make money to keep going so I’m okay with bank offers and I spend a lot more than most but still fall short a lot. I feel if I spend time to make farms in city they should always produce for me. If you guys added this into a higher vip level it would keep people from abusing this and would stop dead towns from over producing when there vip time wears off.

Truth. So yes, most of the reviews are true. However, if you join a clan you have access to the clan store, which does not mean your wallet. By helping others and doing task you get points to spend in the clan store. Some clans give resources to other players. You can pay to play but I recommend spending only on knowledge and building because those are the items that do not lose points if you are attacked. At first the game play is slow. Internet is a requirement to play the game. It can be addicting and challenging at times. I played for awhile before spending money. If you want to try the game come to kingdom 668 and look for Assassin Brotherhood clan. Tell them you read Vamp review and wanted to try it out. Hope to see you soon.

Developers think they are original!. I would have given a higher star rating because the only reason I downloaded the game is to get free gold for another game as I do know it's just a clone of other games. I noticed the reply they posted to another review stating they were the original strategy war game. Lol hmm I remember playing evony years before total domination and these mobile games came about. You are only original in the fact of how greedy these free to play games are in making it only pay to play with no real reason to actually play if you don't have a deep pocket. You want to take some advise from a player who has played almost all of your free to pay games and has gotten so frustrated in the amount of money it actually takes to compete against these high payers. How about make servers that only allow players that don't spend money. Make the game fun for everyone not just the ones feeding your greed. I know it takes time to make these games but not if they clones of your other games with just new skins.

Bad game!!. It doesn’t deserve more than one star! The game itself is very good and fun, but unfortunately, Plarium and their greediness totally ruined the game...the upgrades to start with, are ridiculous, you have to wait 2 years to finish one upgrade unless you spend money which is Plarium’s only purpose! The gold packs are the biggest scam, $100 for a pack that if you wait 61 days you can get for $10 but here’s the thing, if you don’t spend and wait you will get behind and will never be able to catch up with the bigger spenders...another downside is, the game is R, which means kids under 18 should not play, there’s a lot of pedophiles praying on kids, sending them nasty, sexual, degrading messages, insults are a daily thing in this game, you report them to plarium but they do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT IT! It’s all about the money, not the fun! Play at your own risk and better watch your kids if they’re playing this game!!!

Unstable Money Pit. This game is fun, it’s addictive in a way...BUT...in the end it’s a money pit. It says you can play for free...that is true for a very short time, but then you can’t really get anywhere without spending money...and lots of ii...we’re talking thousands of you want to be competitive. Updates on building and knowledge will take months if free playing, lol, and who wants to wait around for that? The game is very unstable, servers cannot handle player load during events, shields drop, things disappear and customer service will respond with a generic message every time. My clan could write a book with them...90% of the time saying it’s our devices at fault. It’s not. Our clan is top in our kingdom so we play all events and win 99% them so we have boosts, gold, etc. Research shows this has been going on all the way back to 2017 with no real improvement. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and pass on this game. I wish I had.

Boring, tedious, no graphics, no interactions.. A spreadsheet would be more entertaining than this game. Train troops you never see, send them out to fight but you don’t get to control or interact with the fight. All you do is make numbers bigger to get bigger numbers. Truly awful game. Don’t waste your time or money. Response to developer form letter response. The robot who typed out the response was insincere and predictable. I only joined this app to get in game currency for a better game. It took me a week to get to the required level and then the advertiser, aka you “people” rejected the offer so i wasted my time for nothing. Aside from that I’d rather play an 80 text based game than waste my time again on the crap you have put out. Train, march, upgrade. Not only tedious but painfully simple to make this app. I can’t believe people actually waste money on this garbage. The only thing i wanted out of your extremely simple, boring, tedious game was the in game currency for animation throw down, but they are telling me that their advertiser, aka you “people” rejected the deal after I spent days boring myself to death on your simple app. Seriously I made this same game as a homework assignment freshman year of high school.

Garbage. Like other reviewers say it’s basically pay to win. The game is mostly very annoying Russian players, very few English speakers. If you’re a halfway decent looking female don’t connect your Facebook or it’s just a bunch of freaks messaging you endlessly in Cyrillic characters. And of course attacking your city when you tell them to buzz off. Without a peace shield you just get endlessly attacked by annoying Russians, and a peace shield costs 1,000 gold for 8 hours, up to 10,000 for a week. Gold is ridiculous to harvest so basically that means pay out of pocket. If you don’t you just get attacked over and over until you have no troops left and the game is pointless. PVP encounters are totally uncontrolled and it’s just how many troops are deployed by each side. Which if you haven’t paid for a hundred bucks worth of crap in the game, you just get your Tripp’s decimated. And of course it costs gold to resurrect 90% of your troops. In other words, more cash. It’s just another crappy spawn of a garbage style of game that should have died out a decade ago and been replaced with a real PVP game, but this is just a crappy ploy for money.

Outrageous. This game honestly used to be fun. Back when Holmgang was 3 trillion influence, and clan sieges were actually doable by one person. But the latest updates have been the last straw! My clan never got to do a single Holmgang, because whenever we got close enough to the requirements, they would raise them, first 1 trillion, then 3, and now 9 trillion. Seriously! Plarium actually makes clan and fury sieges harder now too, so now I can’t do them, and you can’t level down your Tower of Odin. Jotenhiem (not sure what the spelling is) is pointless unless you have several hundred bucks to burn. Asgard— also very expensive. CvC— Plarium also changed those, so I can’t get the last few lvls also. This game is literally designed for only the top spenders! Finally, the last few lvls of Helheim are just a ridiculous waste of time. I really did used to enjoy this game, but the insane amount of money needed to stay ahead is a lethal trap. I heard some of the top dogs spent multiple -THOUSAND- dollars. I don’t think very many people will read this, but to those who have— BE WARNED! It’s fun at first, but if you stick around long enough you’ll be forced into an endless cycle of spending money. I used to enjoy this game, I really did, but now I don’t enjoy this game, and the constant changes will likely continue till the cows come home. I’ll probably try Clash of Clans and see if they change things every two seconds!!

Was fun, now pure money grab. When I started playing I knew I was getting into something different for me. I enjoyed the learning strategy, my amazing clan (you need! a clan), doing upgrades all while spending some money, but not absurd amounts. My game has now basically come to a screeching halt. Why? Upgrades take enormous amounts of resources and time (over a year for 1 building or 1 level of knowledge), the price of packs keeps going up while the quality of the packs is going down. Paying more for less. Today’s update was the final straw. When you have a game and far too many of your base, from all over the world, struggles with connection errors, internal connection errors, getting kicked from the game, dealing with lack of opponents at every event for hours, having events pushed so they’re now back to back with 1 day between so there’s no time to rss or catch your breath and you want me to not only give you money, but more money for less? Not happening. Adding level 7 troops is ridiculous. Giving players what they don’t want is ridiculous. Bye plarium. Leaving before the mass exit and inevitable game shutdown due to only multi-billionaire whales being able to play. Even they reach a point of enough

So far so good. I haven’t had a real problem yet, the game stick when loading at 45% so I reload and it goes thro. I’m pretty sure there will be glitches as time goes on but I’ve been In two weeks and nothing major, these games want coin, period. Cough up some coin once and a while to advance or play until you die getting nowhere. I have a spending limit, when I hit that I’m pretty much done and if I feel the game is robbing me excessively I cut my losses and move on, other than that I’m having fun so far just have to get use to how to fight and not get killed by players way to big to compete with, it’s the newbie curse lol. This is a war game so guard up always, some of the deals are pretty good but once you buy a package it doubles if you wanna buy it again, I’d rather move on and wait until I get more bang for my buck, good luck and enjoy

interesting that gud rvws r 2-3 YRS old. i have been playing the game close to 2 yrs, and that is not long compared to a lot of others. i beat myself up for continuing to play and hand over dollars to plarium. there are continuous updates that bring new glitches, freezes, delays. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE DL’G this game at this point. it will take years + loads of money to get to fighting weight. you will only get attacked and frustration with game is non-stop. it feels as if the co. knows the life of the game is nearing its end. they are nickle + dime-ing players at every turn. adding more events that require more money from you to be able to compete. meantime, will they ever update their servers to be able to maintain stability of game? do they ever acknowledge their game issues? (i wonder if this review will even make it on app) ~ extremely poor + frustrated in chicago

Trash. I have been playing for 2.5 years. I have trued to defend this game but I just can’t anymore. They just fill kingdoms up and forget about them. They have over 40k players each. Out of that there tends to be 1 or 2 clans that bother to play the game. About 80 people. They never add new people or get rid of people regardless if they have not touched the game for years or if they played for under one hour. I am in a clan that is the only real one in the kingdom. Despite how much I help and what they say they expect you to do a ton and get on mutable accounts 3 days a week to stay in. They kick you if your not. As time goes on they expect you to do more and more. This game now feels like a chore and I don’t have another option because you need to pay to go to another kingdom, and there’s no new players to make new ones. The only reason I still play is because I spent time and money on it and don’t want it to be for nothing. Do yourself a favor and don’t try it.

The Higher Players that dump money into it, make it not fun. You can’t even go out and get resources, because the insanely higher players hit you then, because you can’t defend those attacks. And then your stuck rebuilding troops everyday, this is supposed to be Viking Wars, not Cowards Hall. They will not attack you head on, they only attack when your yielding, because they only lose up to 100 troops while they slaughter yours by the thousands. If it was not for that fact, I would give it a 5 star rating. But you only get so many shields for resource yielding, but you can buy as many as you want to, for hundreds of dollars. Just to prevent cowards from attacking you, if your a weaker player only. They fear the players of equal or higher strengths. I would say not to play it until they fix it. There are level 15 up to 30 abandoned towns all over the map for a reason. Nobody wants to spend everyday rebuilding troops just to be able to play

Boring. Totally boring. You spend $1,000’s of real money to upgrade buildings and knowledge and equipment. To receive achievements and rewards you have to spend 30 hrs a week in the game and even worse is that you pay real money, USD and Euro, to train troops just to suicide the troops against another player who wants to suicide their troops. Forget the pretty advertising and marketing they trick you with to lure you in, the game is nothing like that. No tactics required because the the game is so unbalanced with strong and weak players that it’s a total waste of time ( unless you want to spend U$1,000 / month). They have no new ideas to make the game interesting. Each upgrade of the game is just moving the level higher. You spend hours killing ghosts and invaders, just so you can do it again tomorrow. Don’t bother starting this game. It’s a dead game walking. If you want, you can buy accounts for bargain prices on the internet. Plarium have no new ideas.

Reward the spenders highly not the players. Plarium need to cater to the players who spend, not only to the players who spend a lot. Example jotunheim, why not have a competition, that rewards for a influence points ratio, that way smaller players, who can actually play the game are kept in the game as they are rewarded for larger risks, as jotunheim has really only been set up for the big spenders.(the leagues are stupid as a 5b town is in Odin league with 300b towns) The competition within a competition would show who can play , not just who can spend the most on t6

No customer support.. If you like to keep your devices for afew years don't get this game. The system requirements needed to play this game should be updated in the store. When Plarium does updates for game optimisation and improvements this only supports new tech. When you submit a support ticket for game issues, you will receive the same standard response until you become that frustrated you stop contacting them. Free to play game with expensive bank offers for little gain unless you wait 8 weeks for special offers. Ridiculous amounts of resources, boosts, and gold required to upgrade. 👎

Ridiculous cost. This game has got out of hand. I have been playing for years and initially it was great. Now, only for big spenders. And I mean BIG. multi-billion influence players rule the roost. I don’t bother attacking anyone as it is probably a trap set up. Seems that all effort is now going into setting up traps than in playing fair ( yes I know it is a war game but it has got to the stage of stupidly high infl against low level players). Suggestion, set up a couple of kingdoms with a max influence to go there. Get back to letting people enjoy the game rather than turn away. I have nearly 1 billion infl but might as well have none against the big spenders.

Suggestion. Good game and enjoy playing. Biggest draw back is there is no in game language translator (English to Russian or Russian to English). It can be hard to communicate with other players.

Not a game. This isn’t a game it’s a clicker, I was just pressing what it told me to press in the hopes i could finish the tutorial and play but it seemed to never end I had no idea what was going on because the game didn’t give me a minute to actually play it. Don’t make a shot tutorial, in comparison the simpsons city builder and most others have tasks for you to do and show you the mechanics it’s just like “click here and this is what this does” this game makes you build and recruit and everything instead of letting you decide how you want to build your city. How are they affording advertising?

You will need a massive wallet to achieve anything with this game. If you are looking at starting this game then please don’t bother. You will be so far behind everyone and to get anywhere near to being able to fight it will cost you a hell of a lot of money and then to be able to stay in a position to keep fighting it will cost you a hell of a lot more continuously. You can play for free but you will not get anywhere. You can join a clan but again you will not earn enough unless you are super huge and spend a lot of money. Plarium say they take into consideration peoples suggestions but 1 person will be all for making game more expensive where as hundreds will be against so Plarium will listen to the 1 that wants more expenses not the many that plead for a break. So many people leave game and there are so many dead cities around, kingdoms have 1 main clan and good luck getting into it so you will be in a weak clan unless of course you spend a hell of a lot of money. This game was good but greed has taken over from developers and there are constant glitches which Plarium will kindly disregard and tell you it’s your fault somehow. If you haven’t worked it out now, this game is a money pit and one of the biggest out there, you won’t achieve anything unless you pay big money!

Worst game ever. I haven’t actually played it yet it just looks bad

Warning. This is a good game, BUT If you do not spend money on a regular basis, you can still play but will get left behind. Some players spending hundreds of dollars a week so you get my drift. Game servers going down, this is a common problem, one minute you are playing, the next you have been booted. Plarium know this is a problem and at least once a week there is a small reward for the inconvenience. Any complaints over any issue is met with a standard generic answer. Most kingdoms within the game have upward of 40 thousand cities of which about 95% are either not playing or have left the game, this just clutters up the game and becomes a waste of time. Upgrades, research and knowledge within the game become frightening with amount of time to complete ie many over 600 weeks, so unless you throw money at the game there is not a lot of enjoyment. On balance this is not a game you should play unless you are prepared to throw serious money at it each week. My in game name was insayn and I must have been to keep playing for 7 weeks. Developers response is exactly what I expected, a load of verbage, generic and as usual not addressing the issues.

Very poor I would say zero customer service and problem solving attitude. Never got the issue solved contacted them from last 3 days and just received 2 messages that they forwarded the issue to technical staff still not resolved and no compensation they offer for inconvenience very bad service

Game doesn’t work. It is pretty good game. I’ve downloaded it in Europe. Today I came back to Australia, but I cannot launch the game anymore. There is an error message says not connected. Contact support or restart. But it is not doable. Do you have any suggestion? ( In the mean time I’m pretty sure they will kick me out from the clan :D )

Crashes. It’s a little sad when you see a game you think you may like so you download it to find that the past hour has been spent trying to open the game for it to get to 30% loaded then to crash. I have reset, hard reset and deleted and reinstalled 8 times now. Think you need to get a handle on this or your ratings will drop hard.

NEVER FORGET TO SHIELD ;). It’s a great platform for multiplayer interaction, with a heavy focus on team play. Lots of things to learn, lots of people to have fun with! Wish that there was a push notification for when your shield was about to drop (like the push notification for when a military boost is about to expire) Downside: essentially need to pay to play, as the cost of upgrades swiftly outgrows the ability to produce the requirements to do so :)

It gets boring after a while. This game is fine it’s more like a clicker at first then I realized how expensive it was 🤣 because it was that expensive I just deleted it so I wouldn’t have to worry of losing my money on stuff in the game and it gets a bit boring after playing it for a while It was quite a good time while I played it though ;)

Almost. Game is great till you make it into the bigger competitive leagues, then it cannot consistently support a competitive pace in of play with many system issues like : lags, timeout, disconnects, need to restart, map not updated properly, towers in fury not showing on maps in fury, worse still this is often only affecting one team and not both - enough to make it impossible to fairly compete. Support repeatedly deny this even in the face of evidence. Game is seriously expensive to play in the higher leagues so you end up feeling ripped off. Especially when support don’t refund obvious gross material loss fairly. All the latest improvements- helheim, holmgang, made this much worse and game balance has been destroyed.

Con. Don't pay ( buy ) anything in this game you only have 50percent of getting what you pay for and yes they take your money 100 percent of the time

Language. Loving the game, it’s just frustrating that there’s no translation for global chat and messages. Most other games I play like this they always have a translation changer so everyone can communicate. For a game that has international players translation is something that should be catered to. That way we can all communicate.

It is what it is. Do players spend a lot of money? Yes. But you can compete without doing this. Just be prepared to take a bit longer. Get into a good clan. Have fun. You can still get contest rewards, win cvc comps and earn rewards

Pretty Expensive Game. My first time playing this game, took me 20 minutes till buying something from the store to get 21,000 gold and a bunch of other stuff for 8.00$ AUD, reached level 10 first day, then more stuff got expensive, I was trying to find another way to get gold then buying it everyday from the store but the amount of gold I got was like 20 or 30 gold, like wth man like you need 3500 or 2000 to upgrade a single building and you waste a lot of supplies it’s just to expensive..

Warning do not give credit card details. I used this game in the past and always my credit card came back with bigger amounts than I had purchased. No way to check either. So I loaded gift cards, but it is by far the most expensive game out there. Without exaggeration If you don’t spend thousands of dollars every year you can’t compete. Just spend money to watch the bigs play or if try to complete you are just cannon fodder. Many in Customer service also play the game and make up their own rules to beat the competition. This game sinking faster than the titanic and won’t be long before its wound up. Many people very unhappy now. Save your money.

Game developers are bullies. Some of The game developers play the game themselves. They make up rules that don’t exist and send messages that you violated the rules even though you play using only game functions. They send letters threatening they reserve all rights to delete anyone’s account for any reason they say. They even say they will report you to the authorities for using the game’s functions, if it happens to annoy one of them. Do a subjective test applies. Other players deal with players exiling them but plarium say they will delete your account and report to the police. It’s so stupid it’s just funny. So if you use the game’s functions to get an edge on the enemy in a way they don’t like they say you are cheating even though they allow the function to happen. if they don’t like people using it they can stop it in the operation of the game’s mechanics. 2 years everyone exile other players out of their own stronghold and only now plarium start to threaten to call the police and delete your account. Must under new management. Time to leave this game. Cost an absolute fortune to be competitive. Many people spending 1000usd per month and more and if you don’t you just watch the action because you can’t do win anything. Shame the game went down hill so fast. Check other comments on fb game groups. Everyone is fed up with the ever changing rules to keep the biggest spenders happy.

Be ready to spend $$$$$. If you have tens of thousands of dollars to burn every year then this is the money pit for you. As there are no real battles between players, you must fight AI players. Pay to build troops and then kill them with no tactics involved…..next.

Everyone is quitting this game.. This game is finished. All the game kill statistics used to be from beating other “real” players. Now the game makers make AI troops and fights because not many players are left. People are leaving this game daily because of plarium’s rude and dishonest customer service, terrible game lagging, errors in graphics, sometimes you attack a resource location and the second you get there, the location is empty, it always was empty but the game is full glitches and plarium says they don’t refund you for anything. No regard for consumer laws, they just think they are a law unto themselves.

Updates are annoying. I love this game, and it’s completely awesome. Apart from having to pay for a lot of stuff it’s pretty good. But I just went on to the app and it told me that there was a new update, so I went to the App Store and I updated the app. I then closed the app, waited a couple of seconds and then opened it again, only to find the same message pop up again! This has happened once or twice, I would really like it if you could fix it

The developers dont listen to feedback. Now. Do not write a copy and paste message to me saying “Oh this is so bad, we listen to everyone and game updates are based on players”, no it isn’t you spoiled egg. You don’t listen, and your horrible staff threaten you if you actually start winning against them. Overall. This game went downhill so fast because you guys got money hungry, sadly people still play this game. Like I said. Do not type a copy and paste or I will write a review on how the development team with reviews are horrible and don’t actually care about anyone.

Bullying. The game is full of Bullying, larger and stronger players can move kingdoms and demand you adhere to there rules or else. This function should not be available if you start in a kingdom you should only get one chance to move to another up to a certain castle level and then no more but it’s actually made the game not fun at all and you need a massive wallet (pay to play)

Look guys love your game I enjoy playing it and the people I play with are so nice But I wish you could get notifications when someone is about to attack you that way you have time to get the heck out of there I have been trying to get my influence up just to have someone attack me and I'm not mad about that (that's the hole point of the game) I just wish you could make it that we could have a chance as I can't attack anyone that actually plays the game as I lose all of my troops PLEASE add something to help would love to have a fighting chance thanks B.

Proposal for future upgrade. Great game! But would be even better if we could share our gems, runes and materials with clanmates just like we do with resources

No longer works on iPhone XS Max unless wifi. Disappointed that the game no longer runs on 4G mobile data. I have tried deleting the app off my phone and reinstalling it. It only loads to 75%. Disappointing considering people are not always on a wifi network.

Since update I cannot open game????. Since the laters update I cannot open game. I click on app, it says I need to update, click update which takes me to App Store and only option there is to open the app which takes me back to the app with the “need to update” message. It just goes around and around. I have a shield that would be almost out which means my whole game could be stuffed. NOT HAPPY!!!

Some of the stronger players definitely spend cash on this game but I’m doing all right. If your in a good clan with strong members you can get by pretty well. When you don’t you can look for a clan that’s not dead and have good members (I know about the clans that you need to send a request to) The one thing that I hate is when your shield runs out at a non reasonable time and some strong player will absolutely destroy you... other than that I like it

Tutorial. Game seems fine however the tutorial went for so long I deleted it the first time because I just wanted to figure it out myself but was forced to click and do stuff this woman forced me to do! Make it at least half the length. Then have goals to help people figure it out.

English people who belong to a clan who is another language like Russian is not able to understand... Auto translate will be great. Recruiting issues for clans. Vikings: war of clans is a fun game. However it lacks a recruiting system that’s good enough to allow easy recruitment and advertisement of clans. Another criticism I have is that there seems to be dead clans and players galore, it sets a disappointing feel for the game as when you try to recruit you only find inactive players.

Not fair. When my friend told me to get this app I hope that this was something that was good but it’s very bad. The game isn’t fair because when you get to level 6 that’s when 10,000,000 influence players start to attack you and you lose 1,000,000 resources. You can buy shields but they cost 5,000 gold. When I got back on yesterday I saw a 37,991,031 influence player keep pressing attack on my town and I lose everything I have and I was level 12 and he attack me 17 times like some 7 year old autistic kid. Your probably going to read this but change nothing in the game.

GOOD GAME. Coming from someone who doesn’t generally play games like these...it’s not bad, I give 5 stars because I find this game entertaining...play, don’t play...whatever...😒

Been playing this gave for a few years, WHEN it works it’s great, then there’s the times when your locked out of the loading screen at 80% for hours, or all you get in game is blue loading circles, Developers refuse to accept any responsibility for this just blaming Your internet connection, currently the issue is the internet connection in 3 provinces of canada, the whole uk, Brazil, 18 states and part of Germany preventing us from getting into the game, If you have thousands to spend and rebuild I’d recommend it. If not I’d say go for a different developer

Needs work. The graphics need more help and more 3D which will make the game more fun to play and enjoy, (also a 1 person Viking game where you create your player and do missions would be great to play too)

Lag is frustrating. This could be a nice game if it wasn’t for the lag that’s been around for months now. The game is simply unplayable at random times. Plarium does not refund any purchases that cannot be used due to the lag.

Purchases. Be careful with purchases I’ve had issues with not getting points for gold spent which they can’t provide proof of brakedown and had to fight to get a 30$ double purchase removed which in end they gave double package instead of refund so 60$ when I wanted 30$ spent

extreme Pay to Win game and Abysmal and Disrespectful player Treatment. I advise against acquiring this game - i just spent over 150$ yo acquire materials for hero upgrades and got zero back - a huge rip -off. Every time they do a major upgrade there are serious game functionality problems - like they just throw it at the wall to see if it will stick. The worst of any game i play on-line.

Plarium War of Clans. The game has become a money sucking draw on bank accounts. People are great in game but customer support is made up with generic answers without resolving any of the issues of game performing correctly. So many good ppl leaving game because of latest updates that don’t work, more big events requiring more spending with little rewards in return. Complain about cheaters and nothing happens, like a blind eye to the big spenders. Plarium create events with checkpoints that have become unrealistic and half the rewards per cps. So developers no reply required for my comment. I am sure you have ppl that are paid to flood reviews with good comments to remove my from ever being seen.

Money grab. This game is nothing more than a money grab, unless you’re willing to invest tens of thousands of dollars you cannot compete and the game is rather boring. Recent updates have made it so you are paying to kill plarium troops more so than other players.

Trash. Horrible game do not play it is so bad

Game looks really cool but…. It’s too hard to understand anything, there’s nothing in-game to help you understand anything. Also there is an online FAQ and other things but I’ve always thought that’s horrible design. The game should let you know how to play it, in the case of very high complexity games, there should be guides right there within the game that are easily accessible at every step. Someone panicking because they don’t understand the game will not just go check out some guides, because once you put the game down, it doesn’t feel like you’re playing anymore and you will just do something else. Update to the developer response, there’s no “how to play” tab in the menu… There’s a game guide which is a very intimidating index sorted alphabetically with game jargon and you’re left confused if you’re in need of actual guidance on what to do.

Dishonest. I’d recommend avoiding this one. Why? 1. To keep pace it costs a ton!! 2. Once you pay money, things start happening, such as, the items in your account may start to disappear. 3. Complaining to the developers is useless they will basically call you crazy 4. Developers demand proof of complaints, so you will end up having to collect it. Takes the fun out of the game when you feel swindled and forced catalogue and challenge everything 5. The math is WAY!! off on this game, percentages don’t add up for anything, item or activity, in-fact even upgrading can slow things down not increase it. And the increases are not the full percent, they are only about half what’s promised. 6. Even low levels have like 6 month to a year upgrade times. So you will need boosts, and guess what, you are right a ton of money! My advice, don’t waste your time, find something else to play, or play, but don’t pay and loose your hard earned cash on a dishonest company.

This game is great. This is a game a have been looking for, for a while now. Cause I love strategy/RPG games and this the best I found I recommend to people like me

Pay to win.. Support team do not do anything to help you other then giving you a ticket number. Russians have special pack that we do not have. So if you ever want to win against them, they are full loaded, same with all events. It is just another pay to win game. No fun.

Misleading Graphics. Don’t be fooled there are no boats there are no wars between worlds you do have to keep pace and spend money you will find you’re never going to be big until you cross the $5000 cost you can play keeping a shield minimum events and you will find slow play ok not great. They need to offer cheaper packs so that you can dime size and then compete in the big events otherwise your only game is clan versus clan end it gets boring

False Advertising. Ad showed a bowman attacking a village of enemies. Downloaded game. Build, upgrade, press button to send troops. Not fun or interactive at all. Pass.

Very enjoyable. I enjoy playing the game and have played for a few years. It requires in-app purchases, beware. You CAN’T PLAY WITHOUT SPENDING CASH. Pro: Met lots of people that enjoy the aspects of the game, it’s always evolving Con: At the higher levels it will take you forever to level up if you don’t do in-app purchases and some REQUIRE CASH.

Great Game. I have played this game for 3+ years and find this game very hard to leave for more than a day as fellow clan mates do better from visiting frequently. I play from an iPad and have never crashed. One caution though, this is very addictive.

All the new updates. It is supposed to be a war strategy game but Helheim has nothing to do with strategy and it is a slot machine in the strategy game. A huge negative point. Specifically the very last step of the Helheim. You may pass the last node with 3 stars and in the same token, you may fail without even a star with the same gear or champion setup. where is the strategy here? You just have to waste your time for many hours playing luck in a strategy game. Just not a good setup for the players looking for the strategy game. Dot hire a slot machine developer for the development of this game. Too many unsatisfied players.

It has glitches (or they are purposefully messing up the account) and you can put a 5 day shield, boom, out of no where, you are being attacked, lose most of your troops-and guess what?!? You have to pay to heal them! They don’t care, the send generic replies. My whole clan had similar situations. I’m sending my pics to the United States online fraud agency. It takes longer, but they will be reported. Don’t play this game. No moderators in game to make sure sexual harassment and verbal abuse is stopped. Criminal scammers. Just read their reply. Always the same. I hope the company is held responsible and reported for fraud.

Another p2w. One of the worst games I’ve ever downloaded and tried to play solely because of the pay to win factor. First off, your upgrades get to the point of being a year long. Which ends up being 50$ in boosts. Secondly, you can literally pay money for troops, resources, you name it. Money touches all aspects of the game. Aside for the absurd level of pay to win the game is, the actual gameplay is good. And I feel the game would do a lot better for itself if they didn’t expect you to dump thousands of dollars into an iOS game. (Literally) Not to mention how pvp works... like an absolute joke. Step 1: scout Step 2: put city protection back on so you can’t be scouted/attacked Step 3: attack Step 4: shield within 3 seconds. Rinse and repeat. God I could literally go on and on about this game. Or should I say plarium. All their games are this way. Such a rip off company. OH and don’t forget they don’t mind stealing your money, you will have times you ‘purchase’ something and you never get any items. I’d only recommend any plarium game if you are rich and looking to just watch your money go down the drain.

Don’t play this game. We have an active clan but had a situation where our leader unfortunately died. In order to regain control of the clan resources like the stronghold, we’ve been pleading with Plarium to replace the clan leader but it seems they don’t care. Many of us have been playing for a year and a half and invested thousands into the game. Now we have to start all over with the stronghold we’ve been investing for a year. At this time, many of the 90 members of the clan are ready to walk away. Which will basically kill the kingdom since we have 2 active clans. They are aware but they don’t care. Stay away from this game and stay away from Plarium’s future games. We should expect more from a company when we invest so much into it. I will post an update if anything changes.

Mindless clicking. Update: SCAM WARNING. This game advertises that they will give you in-game currency for other games if you download and play to a certain level. They will not honor this commitment! I wasted 2 weeks of my time on this horrible game only to have my petition for crowns in a much better game (DomiNations) denied. AVOID!!! PS I have contacted technical support several times, this game’s developers continuously deny the request. Original Post: This is undoubtedly the worst game I’ve ever played on iOS. The entire game is comprised of mindless clicking, battles are just your moronic Viking walking across a field, automated battle results, and then the Viking walks back to your base. There is 0 action involved in the game, how some people waste money on this is beyond me.

Not recommend. Not age appropriate. If I could give less then 1 star, I would. The servers of this game are constantly crashing. Players have even developed a name for the lag issue: we call it the blue circle of death. Game is constantly booting you out and reconnecting. Only to sit at 90% and not fully open. The game has become a massive disappointment. **This game is not fit for a 9 yr old to play!! Most players are adults! As a grandparent I Really don’t want my grandson reading the things some adults say to each other. Can’t compete. Ok I’ve played these types of games for years. But I thought I’d give this one a try. Seemed to start out good. And spent some money. Got up to 2 billion in power so I’d figure I could at least take a solo hit. Boy was I wrong. I had a lvl 30 base, with good knowledge training and a max hero. I had 15 million tier 5 troops. Someone with a lvl 32 sent 400k tier 4 and killed 12 million of my troops. I hurt 75k of his. I’d love to hear your response to this. And don’t give me it’s how you build crap because I’ve dominated in all the other games I’ve played. I would understand if I’ve was rallied, but this is not the case. Explain plz! 400k t4 against 15mil t5. Respond or not, I will not play again and I will demolish my city.

Genuinely addicting and engaging. I can not believe the life this game has. It’s a world of its own. I have made close friends, learned immensely, and kicked Viking tail in the process. I highly recommend this game for those who have a stubborn will and plenty of ferocious energy. I play to escape reality and vanish into a never ending world of excitement and I am so much more crazy in this game than in reality. Don’t tell my clan I said so. 💋❤️. Not really good at its actual purpose. While being over the top complicated the entire purpose of this game, attacking other villages makes no sense. Even when checking the village and sending in more and stronger units you lose, oh also if you don’t have a peace treaty up every second you will get absolutely decimated and lose all your units and supplies. Literally no explanation to how battle/defense/espionage works you just go in and get a loss or win message and that’s it. Sending hero’s to battle is also just as uninteresting. Then you have what feels like a completely separate game where you go through boring dungeons that seem to have absolutely no payout while taking forever and are super monotonous

Bearusman11. Really? The developer’s response is to, in essence, buy upgrades? And to attempt to insult by saying, “a NOBLE jarl never gives up”! What a load of crap. I’ve been playing this game for a really long time. Customer service is not the greatest. Meaning that I have had to go to Apple to dispute purchases that I did not make. After taking the disputes to Plarium, they just gave me the run around. I have been verbally threatened by other players. The developer’s response was to block them. So what it all boils down to, is that the developers seem to only care about making money. AND it does not matter if you make a lot of purchases, either. They are always looking to make more.

Fifth year player. I’ve been playing this game for a long time and have only been zeroed three times in a four year period. I was just in a competition right now and took one hit from six people and lost everything. There is no explanation as to how this could happen and there is no responsibility taken by Plarium. I had 1 .2 billion T4 troops followed by 174 million T7 and they managed to destroy me in one hit. That cost me about $90. I have asked all veteran players to help calculate what happened…. It’s a complete mess. Be warned about spending money on this game after recent updates.

Warning, read this 1st. I was really enjoying the game but for some reason my shield dropped overnight ( had 2 days left in it mind you ), I was ransacked within a 2 minute timespan by the same 2 people. I’m talking hundreds of attacks, took billions of resources. They had less influence than myself and billons of resources taken from other players and I had several hundred thousand troops ( more than it said they produced when you look at their profiles ) at home yet lost every attack. I truly believe there is either a bug or hack floating around and these players know how to exploit it. Don’t play this game and for God’s sake if you do don’t buy anything you are just feeding the exploiters.

Love the game but fix the Facebook issues. So I like this game very much but I can’t long into a different Facebook account it won’t let me login to a different Facebook account because it won’t let me log out of the Facebook account that is logged into it and it is getting a little annoying that I can’t switch the Facebook account’s for what the game saves but overall I think it is really fun game and a suggestion is that maybe if clans are allies they can have something so they don’t attack eachother but it is just a suggestion but please let people log into different Facebook account’s

Fantastic despite all the criticism. I know this game is getting a lot of bad publicity and people are just playing it to unlock stuff in other games, but this game is actually worth while. Like literally all the advertisements say it is like strategy games from back in the day. It’s not meant to be some over the top thing like Halo or Dark Souls, it’s meant to take you back to a simpler time when you could play hours on end playing a game just so that you could get one skill to level 100. Anyways thank you guys very much for making this game I’m enjoying it immensely.

Don’t play, Gm cheats you out of your money!. If you don’t spend cash and dump several hours a day to this you will just be farmed constantly rebuilding your army. They gave event wars all the time that require you to use peace shields but some events prevent you from buying them. I lost my shield and in 15 minutes I was hit 101 tines losing all of my army which I had paid cash for. Protecting your hero’s when farming rss is also impossible. The fame can become addicting. I made it to lvl 21 castle lvk 51hero but list everything literally in 15 minutes. Customer service is horrible. I bought packs I never saw, when applying packs it kicked me out and I lost everything I bought immediately. They did not restore, heal, or fix any of my issues with my purchase. The bank option is only a fraud. They take your money but won’t support you.

Pay to Win. Guys, don’t even bother playing this game. Just like the other comments said, it is heavily pay to win. I have seen someone that started out the same time I did jump to several million influence in less than 24 hours. This shows a big balance issue. It shows that there are going to be a lot of people that can easily overpower you, and if you actually went and took one down they can jump back within a few hours on what would take you several days. I’m so glad I didn’t spend money on this game, as I was actually close to doing so. There are a lot of better games like this out there. Especially ones that don’t heavily tip the balance for those who are willing to throw actual money at the game.

Buildings. PLARIUM PLEASE READ THIS! I absolutely love this game. I have been playing for a little bit over two years! I have been pleased, but I have noticed something that could be improved... There is no option to move your buildings around. Unless you destroy them, which is crazy; because, all I want to do is move reorganize my current buildings. I would not even mind paying a bit of gold for this feature! Please, add this option in one of the future updates, that are to come. Plarium Rocks! 😎

Latest update on sieges. The last update was unfair and poses a threat by the developer to the gamers. Changing the rules mid game is unethical. Jarls build strongholds they know they are capable of defending. Now making the sieges nearly impossible to see defend. Losing 200 million t8 to receive as a clan 20 million shards = net loss of 180 million t8s… now how do you retrain those? Go to Holmgang?😂😂 Fury towers 😂😂😂 . That’s right you changed those also…. Everyone is saying it. Everyone is abandoning their level 5 and 6 strongholds… You could have made level 7 and 8 sieges for bigger clans. Could have made it so troops not supported by a hero and shaman are super weak so one jarl couldn’t defend a siege on his own…. Changing the rules mid game is the way to anger everyone….it’s wrong and unethical.

Reshuffle. Great game but it needs a reshuffle get rid of all these accounts over a year old and above suspending there accounts and if they come back reshuffle back in at developers discretion also reconsolidate the kingdoms once a year to keep game fresh i think it would be great to play with a bunch of active people again just my thoughts great game but no new influence is making it boring for me and most of my clan is gone ive tryed drakars but in other kingdoms same problems exists thks for listening

Losing its appeal, fast!. I started playing 4 years ago and have watched this game consistently disintegrate. The prizes for events, such as KVK & CVC, are gone (like the town skins that helped in ALL areas). The packages are useless and costly (full of stuff you don’t need). AND, the complete domination of EVERY single Kingdom (old & new!)by Russians that gang up to destroy every Culture not of their own. There is no translator in the game, so if you’re not bilingual you’re screwed in the Global chat! The CONSTANT updates, maintenance have caused my shield to drop several times, costing money to replenish my lost rss & troops lost being attacked. I mainly go on now to check my shield, not interested in this game anymore. I just haven’t had the heart to tear down my base that I’ve spent over 4 years, and thousands of dollars on to build. It’s really a shame, used to be the best game, not anymore.

Be aware. I have purchased from the so called bank to help out my group after unfair attack’s as mentioned in other messages the developer allows you to lose weight everything in a single attack, bigger accounts do play the bully role knowing others can’t upgrade for weeks, example I need to level up to 29 from 28 it takes over 183 weeks if I don’t buy from bank which is money grab. I purchased a game pack today and never received any of the items I purchased, I have emailed developer 4 times now and not one response regarding my issue. The game packs the are offered doesn’t keep the game competitive unless you can spend thousands at a time

Great game- poor customer service. i have been playing this game for almost 3 years now, and for 2 of those years have been harrassed by one player. they are verbally abusive, and have caused many players to quit playing entirely.i have sent numerous complaints to customer support, with countless screenshots of the violations of Plarium’s ToS- nothing. i spent a LOT of money to relocate to a new kingdom and basically start over, and the same player has now stalked me to the new kingdom and has arrived to continue his threatening behavior. This company does nothing to protect legitimate gamers- so while i do enjoy the game immensely- i may be forced to wuit spending my $$ here since they so obviously do not enforce their own rules.

Not really good anymore. He be been playing for 4 years now. The game has drastically changed in that time. It’s now reminding me more and more of Game of War. You hit the pay wall about level 20. It just doesn’t get any better from there. Hopefully you end up in an active kingdom, otherwise your own your own. Most people have stopped playing the game. It’s only the hardcore and the Russians. Joining in now will mean you will constantly get hit and you will have to spend all your gold on shields. You will be unable to play the game because everyone will be leveled up so high you won’t be able to do anything against them. But everyone has their shields up all the time anyway. There’s just not really a point to this game anymore.

Great game but I would like to see improvements. I have been playing this game for almost 2 years now and I absolutely love it. You can play in many different ways. You can be a farmer or a fighter. You can focus on certain events like Clans battles, or kingdoms battles, Jotunheim. However, I would like to see more computer Generated troops that you can attack for points in CvC, KvK or furies as well as similar things in Jotunheim. At the moment there are only towers during Furies. Having things like this would make the game more interesting for smaller clans, and players.

Generic. It seem’s as though over the last few years these kind of games are popping up, like many of you I downloaded this game because of the ads. Expecting this to be a good game because of what I saw I soon found that it was almost exactly like a lot of the other strategy games on the App Store it is infuriating to see a fun a looking game that seems pretty free range and has slots of options just to find that it is the exact opposite. The main thing I would change about this game is more realistic ads and better graphics and game board set up as you cannot even set up your base if you want a real strategy game clash of clans is superior as it allows for faster progress and has is more user friendly and allows you to actually make decisions

New update for Apple. New update says it was downloaded 22hours ago yet when I try to open it I get the message to update new version I have played this game for a few years so I’m familiar with doing this each update however I have not been able to access my game in the last 22 hours it’s not a phone issue it’s your update please fix this before my shield drops . Update was able to download for me after I took the game out of my phone and reinstalled my husband also had to do the update that way too both of our phones are iPhoneX we love the game however having to update like this was a problem

Every New Update Means More F’n Money!!. Before you get hooked into this game, just realize one thing..it’s all about ‘haves’ and ‘have nots’. Don’t expect to stick around and ride for free. One needs to spend to be lethal and effective. Those who have disposable income and a neurosis regarding having their game names and clan at the top of the leaderboards are generally the most successful in this game. Little guys, get out while you can. It absolutely amazes me that people spend tens of thousands of dollars on this, despite the bugginess and bot-quality customer service responses. Unless one spends a lot to stay relevant, every update simply makes the game that much more difficult for lesser spenders. The struggle is real, but it doesn’t have to be. It’s just a game. And unless you’ve already spent an arm and a leg, it just isn’t worth it to even try and give it a look.

I feel like I’ve been lied to. The review by Omegacharge couldn’t be more accurate. I downloaded the game on a recommendation from Black Pigeon Speaks channel because there was a portrayal of epic battle scenes in a few of his episodes supposedly taken from gameplay. Much to my disappointment there are no interactive, epic battles & that is my biggest gripe out of the whole game. I agree with everything Omegacharge said but if you could just make the battles epic & interactive it would make the game 10x better in my opinion. Honestly I feel the ads on BPS’s channel & even the “in game pics” is tantamount to false advertising. I’ll keep playing & change my rating if you guys promise to live up to your ads eventually.

Second review. So this is this the second time I’ve purchased in game and not gotten anything except a bill . The first time customer support was cool about it and I did get my package eventually but you shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to get something you already paid for. This is not on my bank or apples end I checked . The game itself is pretty addictive and fun and I’ve put a lot of time into playing but I’m afraid if this happens again I’m probably going back to a different game. I’ve been in contact with support for 4 days about this issue and I just get generic “ we’re trying our best and thanks for being patient “ I still recommend the game but be weary of in game purchase!

Quality of life improvements. Much of the game I played is fun, I’ve been playing for a while now and I’m just having fun. But they’re are a lot of improvements that need to be made like perhaps a button that’s lets you’ll complete all the tasks at once if you have vip enabled. And I very much like that the game isn’t a pay to win game sure you have deals available but you don’t need to pay in order to advance your keep only be patient. I would also think asking the community about more quality of life additions you could add but it’s just a thought.

Beware purchasing from Bank. I bought a novice set that was the special the day I started. It was supposed to include a hero weapon, resources, task refreshers and boosts. I payed and never received it, I opened a case, 2 days later they tell me they never received the money and closed the case. My bank and App Store both show payment was taken out so I open another case, then they claimed I received it and it was 500 gold. But I never received any of the items in the pack. Can’t even tell if I received the 500 gold they claimed I did cause its such a tiny amount compared to what I earned from achievements and events. I would have never spent money on just 500 gold. They take your money don’t give you what you payed for and lie to you.

$$. Like other identical games before it (eg game of war, final fantasy), Vikings has reached a tipping point. The amount of money you have to spend has begun to increase quickly (you can not play the full game for free), and the updates that render your stronghold obsolete (unless you spend more) have begun to arrive more quickly. The exit strategy for this game, whether it’s called game of war, Vikings, mobile strike, or whatever, is always the same. The developer raises prices faster and faster, and higher and higher, until everyone quits. Your opportunity to have fun in this game has passed. Find another. I’ve noticed “support” has also stopped answering emails. They have probably all been fired as the game enters its death spiral.

Phone Overheats. Lately my iphone 6 has been overheating and slowing down considerably after only 10 minutes of playing this game. I’m concerned that this problem may damage the phone. Hope the developers can fix that issue. I tried turning off animations in settings as suggested and problem persists. Not good at all for the phone. I’ve been playing Vikings for over two years now and it has been a great experience.

So beyond upset about this game. I have been playing for 3 years. I was threatened by some player who said that they knew where I lived and was going to kill me by knife or chop off my head. I forwarded copies of the messages to plarium and all I got were basic responses. Over and over again they basically repeated their messages. They NEVER did anything about it when instead they should have deleted his account. Also, the peace treaties of mine were constantly turned off many times. Got the runaround there and nothing was done. By the summer, I was expelled after my treaty went down even though I had more time left. They were tired of my peace treaties being gone and me being attacked. I use to LOVE this game. Now, I am very upset and disappointed. Had to give one star to enter my review

Amazing customer service. I thought the game was just like every other game at first. The difference with this game and the others is great customer service. I had a problem with not being able to participate in an event, I contacted them and they responded generally fast. They didn’t waste any time or drag out the conversation, they solved the problem quick providing me with all of the information I needed. Not just that, they were EXTREMELY well mannered and nice

Great Community!. The game is similar to many others but what sets it apart is the community. Joining a clam is easy and happens pretty quick. The people in the clan are more than willing to help and I personally have learned most of the game from other players. One issue I have is when you come back to the app it has to load even when it is open. I refuse to take a star off of this, though, because I understand it is probably just syncing the local game with the server.

DO NOT SPEND ANY MONEY!!!!. I truly believe the game is rigged by the developers. There are some “players” in the game who can attack you even with their “peace treaty” shield on while you can’t do anything about it. It’s a way for you to get frustrated and spend money to recuperate. I don’t want to be prejudice against Russians, but beware with some of their clans. They somehow manage to break all the rules. In a way it forces you to stay on the game unnecessarily longer and waste a lot of game currency (so you’d have to spend actual money). Or maybe there’s just a lot of hackers/cheaters in the game. You’d be competing with clans that should be about the same level as your clan with similar numbers of members and influence. Somehow they score points more than an entire kingdom. I find it so fishy.

Fun game...moreso if you spend $. Fun game so far. Much like your typical mmo app based game. You can level up without spending money if you join a good clan and are patient. With that said, spending even a small amount of money and being part of a clan will make you a slightly above average player fairly quickly. I like that prices don’t automatically increase each time you buy something. There are offers at different price points. You can get creamed by someone who spends a lot but if diplomatic politics and clans unite, even that can be countered.

Worst game support ever. Do not even start to play this. Game is constant money trap. Plarium responds that it is different strategy but without pay to win it will take you anywhere from 20 weeks to 805 weeks to learn one knowledge out of few thousands. On top of that Plarium constantly has problems with the game that even if you spends e few hundred to plain one of main events later they will literally respond that they won’t compensate you for spent consumable items cause to many player has experienced it but they will fix the game soon 😂🙈. There are treating players very bad. It doesn’t matter what happens it is always the players fault and his problem cause they won’t compensate anything ever.

In game app purchases are expensive!. Every time you start the game the first thing it displays are in app purchases which lets you know what they are really after is more money. Not $1 or $2 dollars but many are $10 to $100. Trying to play the game without buying packs is really slow. Once you get to mid game level instead of taking days to complete building upgrades or knowledge updates it takes months. Again unless you spend $100's of real money. Finally, the game IS NOT MONITORED towards fair play. They allow mega players to attack smaller players continually. You are constantly attacked by advanced players. Not much fun to have 10,000 of your troops killed and only be able to kill 10 of their troops in return. All you are doing is trying to rebuild your town after after every attack. If they only allowed players of equal experience levels to attack each other so the attacker and attacked had equal risk, it would be more enjoyable. Save your money! Run away from this game as fast as you can.

Good game, if only there was player balance. I have played this game a while now and I think it is pretty cool. I like that you can speed up stuff without spending gold. Buuut there is the issue of player balance. I get SUPER annoyed when I check the game and have been attacked like 20 times and have no resources or troops. I spend so long getting the troops and resources and they get destroyed and stolen(usually by high level players). I think you should only be able to attack people your level, one or two give or take. If this issue were fixed I would be a much happier player. Keep up developing the good parts of the game though!👍

This game is awesome. I’ve attempted to play a good amount of the real time strategy games where you make a town and then make an army and I found issues with all of them. Except Vikings, I’ve been playing War of clans for over 2 years now and it’s still the best game I’ve ever played. For a couple reasons, 1 I’ve always loved the Norse men and anything Viking. 2 auto farming is a big thing that not a lot of strategy games have. 3 there are a ton of different troop options (personal killers are my favorite so they make up almost my entire army)

Good Game. I enjoy this game a lot. I have seen other people’s reviews and I can see why you wouldn’t like it. Games like this just aren’t for some people. The main reason I like this game is it initially gives you long times to do anything, but it is actually quite easy to get rss/boosts. In other games like this however, the same can not be said. Also I forgot to mention how easy shields are to get even though I see people complaining about that.

Good game but gets boring with long upgrades. Been playing this game for week now and it gets boring: I like to upgrade things naturally and do not use gold to speed things up. This game takes unreasonable time for knowledge upgrades such as Scout Defense skill taking 8.5 hours to get 2% increase, and this is just a beginning. Or having only one craftsman to upgrade buildings? Give us two and just double the time on upgrades. Upgrades and knowledge training- results are tinny or show no improvement in the game plan. Game designed around spending gold for speeding up all processes, but at this point it already got boring with timely upgrades.

Customer Support Horrible. They need to change their name to a “Bridge to Nowhere”. Whenever you make a complaint about game function they don’t actually read your request. Instead you get a regurgitated form response. With all the server issues and game glitches it’s never their fault. Everyone else’s equipment is the issue never theirs. If anyone from Plarium is reading this, trust me, it you not me. Highly recommend not spending any money in this game unless you are a gambler. Cause it’s a gamble as to whether or not the game functions while you use the stuff you’ve bought to compete. Response to developer response: Your continued standard responses are not helpful. I have sent screenshots and multiple tickets for this same issue. I have also informed you that the whole server is experiencing these issues. I stand with my previous statement, “It’s you, not me”. Take responsibility like an adult company and fix your app. Until then the review stands. How about being honest for a change? I know it may seem difficult but you will feel better.

Rip Off - Waste Of Time. I installed and played this game to take advantage of a promotion within Fox Throwdown to earn some game based cash. I figured if its good I’ll keep playing. Unfortunately this is one of those games that you just build and mine, waiting for hours or days for things to mine, build or upgrade. They want you to put down real cash to speed up this tedious process. Instead, I trudged through this process for two weeks to meet the criteria, playing through different scenarios to try and enjoy the process, but the game was just not engaging or fun. Needless to say I met the criteria, provided the screen shot and guess what? They denied the payment of game cash for Throwdown. What an absolute disappointment, waste time of time and scam! Kongregate and Vikings seriously are awful people.

Buggy game. This game is the most unstable and buggiest game I’ve ever played! Actually the game is down right at this very moment while I’m writing this review, and people are complaining about they can’t even log into the game. This game crushes and glitches way too often. But instead of finding effective ways to fixing the problem, like having a stable server or hiring a better system maintenance team, they took away what we paid for without even telling us. Then they claim the issue has been fixed but clearly it’s not. And this shady company actually hides my comments on their Facebook page when I made suggestions and point out their game flaws. I guess they only want my money not honest opinions. Oh well, I will not spend another penny on this game again.

Money Dump. As of today Plarium added even more to the game that is impossible to achieve unless you are a big spender. I have played this game for two years now and I can never stay competitive unless I spend a ton of money. There are a lot of players that I have played with that are quitting due to the recent up dates in castle level and adding T8 troops. They only may this obtainable as well through “soul shards” in which you can only get through fighting. Fighting equals money because these types of troops cost a lot of money. I officially quit this game because it is endless and I will never catch up. I suggest not to download this game as it is a money dump game.

Love the game but half let down. I love the game it is just that I was let down a little from the advertisements because the showed ship combat 1v1 and I don’t see that but great game! Also make the boats feature that I see in the ads possible because that would make the whole game more fun in my opinion. Ok thanks I would really recommend that you add the ship 1v1 (Also thanks for not having automated responses that proves that there is a good dev team)

Can’t delete account off phone. I downloaded the game on my iPhone. I accidentally used a teleport and could no longer relocate my city. I had to start a new account on my computer because I can’t get the original account deleted. I sent the developers an email and I have yet to hear a response. I just hope they don’t delete the wrong account....waiting for a response..... Update: finally had a response through FB messenger. apparently the developers can’t delete an account off a mobile phone. Completely ridiculous. If they would just fix the tech issue I’d be able to play. I guess it’s too complicated to delete and old account off a phone so I can play an active FB linked account on my phone. Update 2: I emailed support directly and it’s now been 5 days....no response. WORST customer service EVER!

very expensive...umm...hobby.. This is not a game... it’s a never-ending expense... yes, Plarium will have an answer to this, like "we are the original," and "develop your own strategy and you will achieve success!”. But NO. As you grow in the game the upgrades become not just days, or weeks long... but YEARS. So you start spending money... And they have started having Shamans that only come with packs you have to buy. They have this scheme perfected. So, bottom line is it is good fun, but very costly. And you will never "win" it. But Plarium developers will certainly "win" your money! So give it a try, enjoy it... but when the temptation comes to buy "just this one pack..." LEAVE IT.
