app update made things worse. I used to be able to listen to the app while opening other apps, now the sound shuts off as soon as i click away or when i hide the app. why?

Function degradation. With every new version of the app it’s function (in the ability to play content live and on demand) degrades. Pieces of content that were once available in the us are not working anymore. Why would you block content that does not have any other distributor? This also includes some of the web site pages

Does Not Accommodate English Soeakers. The app is in Hebrew, and does not accommodate English speakers, despite the fact that half of Jews in the world speak and understand English and not Hebrew.

Stopped working properly a few weeks ago. The app used to work well, letting me watch the recording of that day’s evening news program. Starting a few weeks ago, it acts as if it’s loading the recording, but never actually does. Disappointing. I now watch Arutz 12 instead.

This site is a joke. You can’t watch most of the programs on the library… don’t understand the folks who’s in charge of this site

Give us clear direct access to watch the most recent news show, please. To watch the most recent news show, you currently have to navigate by presenter. It should be offered by date and time so one can easily find the most recent news show to watch. Thanks.

The app does not work on iPad. The app does not work in the USA on iPad 7th generation and 4th generation using latest iOS 15.3. It does work on iPhone 12 and 10.

Horrible. Absolutely horrible. No matter what smartphone you install this software on, it won’t play the TV.

Landscape Mode. Why doesn’t app work in landscape mode on iPad?

Many programs excluded. I love כאן. I watch your quality programs daily. I am frustrated that good programs are excluded from territories outside Israel. I guess issues of copyright, syndication and security may be the reason but sometimes this strategy does not make sense. תודה

Disappointed. The Kan app is supposed to include a feature they advertise as Kan Box where you can see episodes of shows. Whenever I try to see them they come up as unavailable. I’m not to watch most of the shows they advertise. I use the app for news. Occasionally clips and podcasts that look interesting also come up as unavailable. Waste of an app. Don’t advertise shows I can’t watch.

Nice but has several design flaws. The app works. Usually. And providing good content. But both iPhone and iPad apps don’t auto rotate as most apps do. Works only in portrait mode. Very annoying if you put your device in landscape mode and want to read something. Can’t understand why. In addition, when you use it to listen to live content, the background and show title don’t change as programs change. So you listen to show B but see the details of show A. No refresh. Another thing is the poor Lock Screen widget which doesn’t necessarily work. If you had just used regular functions or libraries that do all of the above, it would have been a great app.

Dov Grosman. An excellent on line as well as the TV platform, combines news Israeli news, and world news, in a very fair and very interesting format, it’s very informing and diverse, I enjoy watching it on the TV. The news is informative and to the point, whether it’s news, sports, culinary or anything else it is always fresh new and very well put together. Congratulations.

Unusable for radio. The video section of the app works okay, but the radio player just stutters and hangs. You cannot listen to radio with this app.

Problem with Reshet Bet. I used to love this but for the past few weeks, Reshet Bet won’t play. It keeps loading and loading and 2when it finally does play, it is like one long stutter. Please fix? Thanks.

The streaming doesn’t work around the world. It doesn’t work for me ,I live in the United States and the streaming doesn’t work here. I gave two stars because the graphic app looks nice and you can actually read live articles but the main thing is the streaming doesn’t work here. That app should been noticed as working only in certain areas.

Limping application. A limping application with lots of issues; do not recommend.

Unusable. We loved this app and cancelled our Israeli TV because we were happy to use it instead. Now, suddenly it doesn’t work at all. I’m super disappointed.

Only source of news outside israel blocked 😡. I am an israeli living outside of israel, this was my only form of news and i would listen to the radio regularly. Recent update has blocked that for me, this is very frustrating! I understand blocked shows and other forms of content but i just want to keep up with the news. רשות השידור הציבורית, this should be free for the public regardless if they live in or israel or out. I dont understand why after so ling you decided to block access it is a shame, please let me listen to the news again 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

App not working!. I love כאן11 and have enjoyed their content for several years from outside of Israel with some shows unfortunately but understandably blocked probably for copyright reasons. But ever since the latest update the App doesn’t work and the screen for watching live is literally blank just a black screen as well as the radio stations don’t play! This is ridiculous and for the past several days the app is completely useless and I’m very disappointed!

Black screen on live option. Love the app used to work but for the past few days from North America black screen on live and when tryouts nag to contact and report a problem. Thanks

A Total Mess. App is completely unusable outside of Israel because developers now intentionally block foreign traffic. They do not seem to understand Cloudflare can effectively curtail denial of service attacks and handle much of the traffic from their network of cloud servers without bogging down KAN’s servers. Can’t think of another news organization or broadcaster that has intentionally blocked millions of legitimate users because they cannot get their server security measures in order. Let’s get it together.

Lousy does not work for live broadcasting. This application was good until last update ; live broadcasting does not work on the USA !! Thanks that we have other Israeli APPS which do work. The company behind this application does not care ... they should be kicked off the Apple store

App is still not open to users abroad. This channel has huge potential especially to users who grt their news from other sources to get the facts right. Please fix.

No support for Apple TV. Apple TV app is a must have. Why mobile devices only?

Wish the app will have support for floating windows. When watching videos or live broadcasts, it would be extremely helpful if we could leave the app while keeping the video playing. N12 app released that functionality on iPhones not long ago. Experience changing!

Stopped working on iOS 14.5 and 14.6. App now crashes on both iPad and IPhone.

Great but no option to cast to TV. Please return the option to cast the screen to a TV. Since a few updates ago, the only option is to mirror the iPhone’s screen. It’s very annoying. Also, please please please create a version for Apple TV. All the other broadcasters have their own apps!

Doesn’t work in the US. I live in NY and used to get the news from Kan. For some reason it stopped working. Only works now when i use VPN and show as I’m in Israel. Too bad

Very disappointing!. The quality of the broadcasts, especially the news and historical documentaries are first class. However, I can no longer receive the live broadcasts as previously with the Broadcasting Authority. Why not charge a subscription fee is money is the issue. You are hurting yourselves by not exposing us to the Israeli perspective on so many issues. I also miss the basketball and soccer matches that were broadcast before May 2017.

No radio options?. All the radio programs on demand are not available since today. Takes you automatically to news...

bad app. Can't watch on my smart tv. Can't download the app on apple tv device. ( From Florida US). In times you want to connect to Israel most of all you just can't. Beside that love the progress. All of them. Radio and TV.

יופי של אפליקציה.. מאוד אוהבת את השידורים בערוץ. את האפשרות לראות שידורים שהחמצתי. תוכניות ברמה גבוהה. אבל! כדי לראות תוכניות נוספות, עלי להשתמש באתר עצמו המאפשר תוכניות רדיו ומסודר לפי נושאים: חדשות, דוקומנטים, דת וכו׳. יהיה עדיף שאפשר למצוא הכל באפליקציה אחת. תודה תוכניות מעשירות וברמה גבוהה

Great layout but very buggy. The app has a really good design and is very informative. The problem is it is ridiculously buggy. It closes suddenly without any user action, the audio stream cuts out a lot, and video is frequently laggy/buffering. They should really sort out their backend issues before investing any more money in this app because with all the current issues it’s not particularly functional.

Credible, professional and well balanced. The only trustworthy media in Israel. Don’t let Bibi shut it down!!!

WORST APP IN THE WORLD!. האפליקציה הזו נוראית! כי בכל פעם שאני צופה בשידור חי הסאונד קורס כל הזמן ואז אני צריך לסגור את האפליקציה ולפתוח מחדש. כמה דקות לאחר הפתיחה מחדש, והצפייה שלי מתחדשת בשידור החי, הסאונד שוב קורס שוב ושוב. אני הולך למחוק את האפליקציה הזו ולא הייתי ממליץ על האפליקציה הזו לאף אחד.

לא כל התכנים מוצרים בחול. אצם משאירים אותנו עם ערוץ 2 המעאפן

מאזין פגוע. חבר שלי התראיין לאיזשהו תוכנית ואין אופציה להוריד את הקטע שבו הוא דיבר. אפילו אי אפשר להוריד את כל השעה של התוכנית. סתם מבאס

האפליקציה לא עובדת.. האם היתה התקפה דיגיטלית על האתר? גם האתר לא עובד. דווקא בימים האלו הקשר עם הארץ מאד חשוב לי.
