Nope..... I have enjoyed the Dark Parable series a lot (not this one though). The touch response is awful, playing on an iPad 6. Story all over the place. Considering not to continue. Paid for it so.... frustrating.... sorry Blue Tea

Great series. Although an older game, it was great when I first played. But it seems to not do as well on the current iOS.

Had already bought the full game, they re-released it as free with purchases. I had already bought this full game, they re-released it as free with additional purchases, and put the full game in additional purchase, now I’ve to pay again, besides this developer has not updated so many of its games which are then removed by apple, so not gonna buy any of their games.

False advertising. The four-star is for this particular game. Beautiful graphics, challenging puzzles, all the things I love. But here is where false advertising comes in. Over the last few years, I have spent hundreds of dollars on games that are specifically promoted as "pay once and play forever." But about 3/4 of those games are no longer available and have simply disappeared from the Big Fish site with no explanation nor offer of refund or even concern. In the first few years, I paid full price. In the last few years I have learned not to waste my money and get only those on sale. FOR ONCE, PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS REVIEW FOR ALL OF YOUR CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE....WITH SOMETHING OTHER THAN AN EXCUSE.

Beautiful and Captivating!. The game is beautifully done! The colors are rich and the action sequences are done well. The voices are a little off kilter, but the puzzles are challenging but not ridiculous! Love it!!

Beautiful game. This is a challenging game, especially the HO, but unlike other posters, I think they are beautiful. The entire game transports the viewer to exotic places.

Glitchiest game I ever played. This is a nice game but there are very few times that the arrows and sparkles and things to grab could be done without hitting all around the object and hitting multiple times. Even exiting and restarting the game only helps a little and then it will stop and no matter how many times you touch on and all around something nothing happens. Like the graphics but I don’t want to play it any more. Too frustrating.

Love it!. Love the Dark Parables series! Blue Tea did an awesome job again. Beautiful graphics, interesting twist on a well-known fairy tale, & good mini-games. Love the fragment HOS. Relaxing music, not grating like some games. Also enjoy having collectibles.

Dark map for Rapunzel. Game was fun to play. Beautiful graphics but I do have a couple of not so fun comments. Map was confusing to use. Didn’t automatically take you to a specific chamber which would have helped. Try to go right in the map and you went down. Directions were screwy. Also some of the puzzles had match the objects to the backgrounds. Very confusing to read the backgrounds to see and understand the pattern. Two puzzles were that way. Not good. Story was good and graphics were great. Could be better.

Awesome Game. I’ve played this game several times an each time i enjoy as much as the first time. I love the storyline. I the drawings are stunning. I have recommended this game to several friends. I only wish the would update their other games.

I would give more stars but asking for rating too much, too soon.. I can’t say if I like the game or not yet. I just wanted the obnoxious asking to rate the game to stop. It’s often and annoying. So two starts for annoying asking on a paid game.

It won’t give me what I paid for. I bough the full version a while back and when I when to play it today it said there was no record of the purchase can you fix this I spent the seven dollars a while ago and I want it back I love this game .

Freezing issues. I love the dark parable games. Have them all. The only issue I have is that it freezes in the middle of the mini games. I deleted and reloaded but to no avail. Please fix the bugs and I'll give you five stars

Just Right. A really enjoyable game...good graphics but more important clever games and HOPs. Beautiful flow, no glitches which is huge right now. One of the best in a long time!!!!!!

Rapunzel!. Could be a lot better if you have to keep going back and forth to the boat canal because you don’t have everything you needed before hand and i sound have given it was five but this stupid little girl that you had to add to the game wasn’t necessary! But whatever now the sky kingdom game was the best by far that's what got me to look into this terrible piece of crap!

No more, Big Fish. This is not my first Big Fish game. The game has mostly beautiful graphics, challenging HOGs, and good puzzles. Map is more useless than most. The worst part of this game is the interminable “rate this game” pop ups that ruin the game play. Now I have rated it. Are you happy? Some horrible evil graphics at the end also clinched that I won’t purchase anything else from this developer.

Is This a Short Game??. I like Big Fish games and have bought quite a few, but I make a decision to buy after the play-for-free part has ended. In this case, I’d barely begun the game before I was told to pay up. I’d been on maybe three scenes? The graphics are indeed very beautiful but I can’t say much else about it. I was so put off, I did not buy and deleted it.

Please update for ios 11 🙏🏻. Pretty please update your games for ios 11, Big Fish?! 🙏🏻

Dazzlingly beautiful!. Yes, a teleporting map would be nice but who cares? What a stunning world the authors of this game have created!!! I love it.

Great game, but.... The map is not the best for it sometimes sends you in the wrong direction and it is not a teleporting map. It can be confusing. It would be a better game if it were fixed and upgraded. I would have rated five stars if not for this clitch.

Saving Graphics!. This game has some excellent qualities. Very grateful that it is not another ‘dark’(literally)story. Proof that you can do good HOS without not being able to see ANYTHING at all. My only problem is that they are all the same exact type of HOS. Also wish there were more puzzles. The art is beautiful!

Dark Parables:Ballad of Rapunzel. I have only played this game for about an hour and noticed that you have to tap items you need multiple times before it works. I may change my rating after getting more into the game.

Review. Really a beautiful nice game. Enjoyed the story line. Challenging yet not to the point of dread. The first time I down loaded it, a year ago, it had a few bugs. This time it worked great. So I guess the developer fixed the issues. Very nice game. I'm glad I took the time to try it again. Be sure to play the bonus.

Rapunzel. I love love the graphics but I have a small problem with the sound. It starts out fine and then it just stops. I love the voices and they just stop I find if I shut off my iPad it comes on again. Thank you for all of your help.

Best BFG ever. I seldom write reviews. But I had to with this game. It is absolutely gorgeous, fun, challenging and generously long. I love Blue Tea games. They are my favorite. Please keep offering games like these. They are my all-time favorites.

Is it just me?. Is it just me? Are others having the Big Fish review request pop up after every single hidden object scene? It's so annoying. I don't mind a few times but this is every time. Otherwise, the game is okay but not as good as others in the series. The map is a big disappointment as it not only doesn't teleport you but it makes no sense. You go right but the map shows you on the left. Same with up and down.

Not family shareable. My daughter loves playing these types of games. She buys them. But I can not play them on my iPad. From what I figured out, you must all share the same account, even if I download from her purchase, it will let me play the trial game but not the whole game.

Not compatible with new iPads or iOS 11.3. Not sure whether the problem is with the device or the operating system, but this is impossible to play. The hotspots on the touch screen react slowly or not at all. It may work on older devices, but if you’re using newer technology, give this one a pass.

Truly beautiful. This is an unbelievably beautiful game - a bit confusing at times, but well worth the purchase. True eye candy.

Addictive!. I actually got this by accident and I'm glad I did! I thought it was a match three with a twist, but it was a Hidden Object instead. My 6 year old niece and I really enjoyed doing this together. She has gone home now and I can't stop! I've finished and am on the extras, which is the same.

Not for me. This is one of those "find the pieces" HO games. I hate them. I don't even bother to look at the items I'm searching for. I just click on things that look out of place. Boring. The games are boring. The tasks are boring. The art work is too crowded. I wouldn't waste the space on my iPad on this game. Yuck! Tried a second time. Still hate it. Third and final try, NOPE, hate it!

Addictive. It was hard to put this down, I also found this by accident and I really really enjoy it. It’s seem to consume me a little bit too. Nice graphics, a little hard on the head not jacks and a lot of twists and turns. Looking forward to other dark parables.

The most gorgeous scenery. This game has, by far, the most beautiful graphics of any game I've ever played. Every scene has 30+ gorgeous pieces of jewelry like you've never seen before. I've played a few games recently but most of my gameplay took place five or six years ago; the game it's self is fine and as I remember it being. You have to tap somewhere and just figure things out as you go along. There are no limits on hints, as far as that is I've seen. I like this because I can make it as easy or hard as I want. Honestly, the scenery in this game is stunning. I love it.

Rapunzel. Please don’t change the format of your games. I love the vibrant colorful HOS. Some of big fish games are so dark and somber. This one was wonderful.

Too many review requests. Great game but I don't write reviews. The reason I am writing this is because after I paid for the game every time I solved a HOP I received a (begging I felt) request to write one.

Game has one fault. I would have given this game 5 stars, but this game doesn’t allow the person playing it to transport from one place to another using the map. If you need to get to a place far away that in which you can do something, you have to figure out how to get there. Other than that, it is a very fun game to play.

Fun. I really like the background music, etc. Beautiful graphics too. So much to see and do but I had to button a lot as no good map.

Ugh. I have always purchased these before even doing the trial...they are THAT good! THIS IS THE 1ST TO REALLY DISAPPOINT ME. The items need to be tapped on several times. The map is confusing and not interactive. I had to hit the hint times so many times just to see which direction to go. The HO scenes are poorly designed and hard on the eyes. Need I say more?

Love this game!. This is a charming game which will draw you into a fairytale world gone wrong! The graphics are gorgeous, the music relaxing and equally beautiful. The puzzles are challenging, engaging and a great mental exercise! Once again, Big Fish does not disappoint! And for BIG FISH - Please make more of your PC Hidden Object games playable on iPad! I have been a Big Fish fan and customer for years and own a great many Big Fish pc games. Since I got my iPad I find myself spending more time using it instead of my PC. I love the Mystery Case Files but only a few are available for iPad. Please, please onvert more PC games to iPad format!!! Thank you!!!

Did not enjoy. The items were often so small that it was hard to see what they were. Too many HOPs and not enough puzzles. Insufficient instructions with puzzles.

Well done! BlueTea you are masters of the story!!. The only problem with a game that had amazing art work and an unusual storyline was no logic and you could get carpel tunnel tapping for things especially in the best hogs ever,

Needs Work. I didn't like some of the HO designs as very unattractive to stare at as you look for the items. Also the games were extremely confusing though I actually won a few. I had to click the "hint" button so very many times as the map is confusing and there are so many places to go back to and things to remember. But I played it but liked Tinderbox and another Hidden Parable better as far as graphics. Sometimes the storyline gets confusing!!! But I enjoyed some of it!!!!

Apple pen doesn’t work. Loved to play the game but was a bit annoyed that the tap needs to be harder than the apple pen obviously. Tapping with pen on my iPad didn’t do anything. So had to play with fingers which not one game has had that before. I do play a lot of these games so maybe something to improve on?

Slow and some bugs. Have only just started playing and already noticing some issues. Entering a player name is extremely slow to respond and incorrect when it finally does enter text. The first HOP is difficult in some areas with objects needing to be tapped several times before it will respond. Playing on new, up-to-date iPad Pro. Disappointing start but will see how it goes...

Great game and beautiful graphics. Really enjoyed it. Loved that there were lots of different scenes that you travel around to and each was nice to look at. Just found that some objects were hidden in awkward places that I never would have figured out if it weren't for the hint button.

Yay!!!!! Blue tea is back!!!!!. I've only played a few minutes of this game ,but I'm still giving it a five star rating simply because Blue Tea Games is behind this game, unlike the last one,"The Little Mermaid/Purple Tide" which was made by Eipix Games. Although it was a very good game and held true to many of the unique aspects of Blue Tea's games, it just wasn't the same .... Unless this game glitches....I give it an AWESOME rating:)

'Gotta love the Dark Parables series..... ....with Blue Tea's winning H.O.P. format! 💝 (24 of them in this particular episode). However, 🔸the mini-games lacked great variety, the majority being somewhat similar (rotation-styled), and the desired goal in a couple of them was difficult to comprehend. 🔸occasionally, selected items required repeated taps before responding. 🔸lastly, I much prefer colourful games compared to the dark, grim ones but... Rapunzel was like someone detonated a royal floral gift shop. LOL Still, Rapunzel was very entertaining and darling, (as we've come to expect from Blue Tea); with the usual collectibles and morphing objects, etc.

Beautiful!. The game itself is great so far! No bugs or glitches as of yet. I think this will be the last game from the Dark Parables series since the developers have changed. It's also mainly because there was no free demo for the purple tide. The gameplay itself are great. The drawback is that everything seemed easier than usual? Things were out in the open and practically handed to me. As well as the quality of the game seemed to be odd. There are some pieces that looked out of place and photoshopped in. The voice cast was also weird. Gerda has the most annoying voice. Another annoying thing was that Big Fish kept pushing me to review thing game. Every 5 -10 minutes it would open a pop up. It was very bothersome. When I finish the game I will probably bump up the score though.

Fair. Not bad, but: - I found it very busy. There was too much stuff in the scenes, making it nearly impossible to know what was active and what was just set dressing. - The inventory items all look very much alike. It's hard to know which item to use, when. - Many places where inventory items go cannot be zoomed in on, so it makes it hard to really tell what item to use there, or even if something goes there. - The map is nearly useless. It is not a jump map, and the lines between circles do not necessarily correspond to actual direct connections between scenes, and up, down, left and right do not correspond to actual directions. Sorry, not my favourite.

Can we have Eipix back?!. Eipix did the last Dark Parables game: Little Mermaid. And they did a MUCH better job at it. The Eipix version had better creativity, storyline flow and better mini-games/interactive puzzles. Worth every penny. Meanwhile, Blue Tea focuses too much on their fancy-pants items and repetitive medallions...requiring very little challenge. Every Blue Tea game follows the same exact format ...they all are copy-cat of each other. Sorry BlueTea..hopefully you'll learn from Eipix and step up your production. I won't be buying anymore Blue Tea games.

not as good as other Dark Parables, but beautiful. If this didn't have the beautiful ephemeral quality of Blue Tea graphics, music, imagery and ambiance--it would really be a very mediocre game. Some puzzle variety, boring HOPs, but mostly, it reminded me of a really beautiful but shallow person. just nor much substance. The non-teleporting map was annoying, too. And a few area that would have been nice to explore weren't interactive. No real glitches, though...although a few places where you have to tap a few times...but nothing too awful....so that is a nice change of pace...so many BF games of late have been 👎🏻👎🏼👎🏽👎🏾👎🏿 on the quality control front. So sorry for the lack of reviews of late, things have been a little crazy here. Thank you all for all the great reviews...they help me to decide what to play as my game time has been limited lately. It's now deleted and off my iPad, after making it just into Chapter 2. Rapunzel, don't bother letting down your hair. Just get back to the drawing board, Blue Tea. Beautiful....but. I love Big Fish games and I love Blue Tea graphics but... This game felt rushed in its release. No transporting Map. The same puzzles over and over again just with different graphics. And Big Fish - it's SO annoying, once you've paid for a game, to have your request for a rating or suggestion you buy (same) game popping up throughout the game play. Not the best of throat.

Raps zeal. Lush graphics make the HOs more challenging. Story line is good and the play is long. Great game.

Love It. Hey loved the story line as well as the two ending choices. Just wanted to ask if you are going to bundle any other series cause I bought the dark parables bundle and loved it. Thanks for all the hard work and keep it up.

Awesome. This is one of the best Big Fish games that I have played. The game is challenging but not so difficult that I needed to consult a walk through. Very often I can complete one of these games in a day or two but this game took much longer so I felt that I got my money's worth. Some of the non-hidden object games are difficult because the directions are terrible but you can choose to skip them so it isn't much of a problem.

Could be better. With a few tweaks. First and most Importantly: don't bother putting a map in your game if you can't use it to navigate quickly where you need to go. Very frustrating and pointless! Secondly, many of the puzzles were simply not logical or even intuitive enough to attempt. I had to skip numerous ones due to inability to finish them. Again, frustrating and pointless! 2* was generous for me to rate this all things considered!

Beautiful. I love this game. Well thought out. A lot of different puzzles and just a gorgeous game to look at. I took my time just to look at the beautiful graphics. It's a short game, but worth the money. I rather have a well made game even if it's only four chapters. You won't be disappointed.

Pretty. First let me say I love Dark Parables, and I could not wait to get this one. It is beautiful, as are the others. However, I have lost interest in finishing it. I usually complete them in a few days, but I have had this one for a month and still haven't made it through. There are so many medallions and things to collect, but the story line is very vague. I have to constantly go to the hint to find out what I should be doing. The map is also not interactive. It shows where things need to be done, but won't take you there. I am always lost trying to get where I need to be. I think developers spent too much time on appearances and not enough on the actual story. I am disappointed.

Beautiful!. As always, these Blue Tea games are gorgeous! The graphics are stunning. However, the game got rather repetitive. The puzzles were repeated, and the HOP scenes were as well. The MAJOR problem I had with it, however, were the incessant pop-ups from Big Fish to rate the game!!!! It interrupted transitions and made for an extremely annoying experience. Truly, I almost stopped playing because of this. I understand that reviews are helpful, and I do try to review whenever possible, but give us a reminder or two BEFORE THE GAME LOADS so that it doesn't interrupt the play!!! And please don't give more than one or two reminders. Just unnecessary and annoying.

Overly Complicated Plot, No Interactive Mapf. Beautiful line graphics but difficult to select. Complicated plot. I don't like pieces of objects HOGs. I tried to follow the directions on the non-interactive map, but ended up in the wrong locations. I liked the previous game in this series, but not this one. If this game had an interactive, responsive map, I'd give the game 4 stars.

Beautiful graphics and fun to play. Like all Dark Parables games, the graphics and soundtrack are lovely (but a little busy). The map in this game is not as clear...I keep ending up in the wrong location. I wish the map offered a teleportation feature. Also, the puzzles were fun but would have liked a little more variety and challenge. I love this series, so I am enjoying the game but it's not the series' strongest offering.

Fabulous. I love this game it's interesting to see that the rapunzel people know as kids is not the same because she never had a sister. Looking forward to the next game

Not a hit. Played the free trial and found that I wasn't really into the game. I got bored with it really quick.

Rapunzel. I loved it everything was look so cool and crisp I didn't have no problem I'll be probably playing again.

Stop with the pop-ups!!. This game is beautiful and would have gotten 5 stars if I wasn't interrupted every 2 minutes with Big Fish pop-ups. I PAID for this game! STAHPPPPPPPPP. Game is lovely, only downside is the map doesn't have teleporting, so there's a lot of wasted time going back and forth 5 screens to get one thing.

Beautiful but silly. Absolutely lovely graphics, decent hint button-these are the good points. Map does not teleport, morphing objects are obscure and difficult to find, and ALL HOS are assembly. Why now, when most games give a variety of HOS, would you have only one very repetitive kind? WAY too many collectibles, lost count and didn't care eventually. Games are also repetitive and story line is very immature and choppy. Looks like all the work in this one went into the graphics-gave you an extra star for them. Certainly not the worst game, but beautiful scenery cannot make up for bad execution. If you're looking for an antidote to all this visual excess, try Punished Talents: Seven Muses. Real people, decent mystery. Big Fish doesn't seem to be promoting it, but it's like Cadenza & Silvermoon-actual humans...

Terrible. I hated this game. I am sorry I purchased it but at least it was on sale. Very confusing dialogue, too many rooms open at once, hated the HOSs, constant interruptions to rate the game. I have never had to use the hint as much as I did with this game.

I FREAKING LOVE IT. I love it a lot. Quality, mini games, story. Best of all the ending can change depending on what tool you use to defeat Bella so far I used the mirror and Sword. Going for the third one just to see how it ends again. Brilliant I have all Dark parables. The worst one though is the mermaid, different maker too.

Dark Parables is back - turning familiar fairy tales on their head in a most delightful manner!. This is a Blue Tea game so right out of the gate you know it's going to be fabulous and they didn't disappoint! Artwork is superb, gameplay flawless, storyline original, just a pleasure to play and one of those you play over and over. Bonus chapter has THREE possible endings! Rapunzel gets the twisted tale treatment this time with delightful results!

Another winner for Blue Tea games. I have just started playing Rapunzel and am delighted to have another Blue Tea game to play. Other games do not have the same depth of color or ornate HOS that BT games do. I like how various folk tales can be woven in. I look forward to having future BT games that feature people of color. The puzzles are not particularly challenging but Blue Tea Games again delivers with beautifully rendered scenes. Got to rate this game in the Dark Parables line as 5stars.

Artistry is Beautiful, Map not so much. As in the other games in the series, the artwork is unbeatable. Also as in the other games in the series, the map is less useful than it could be. It is not interactive and is often really confusing. All that being said, if you liked the others in the Dark Parable series you will like this with one just as well.

Give Me Five (Stars!), Rapunzel!. Blue Tea Games are my absolute favorite. I believe I already own all the others available from Big Fish! Therefore, it is no surprise that Dark Parables: Ballad of Rapunzel is wonderful and well worth every penny. You are a detective searching for the source of a pollen that poisons all who come into contact with it. The pollen falls when Rapunzel sings from her tower. Lucky you -- you have Bitter Herbs which temporarily protect you from the pollen effects. As with the previous Dark Parables, each Hidden Object puzzle usually has you finding components for three pieces of an object (like a medallion or a tiara). Once you find them all, the object combines itself and goes into your inventory. There are excellent Hint and Skip buttons, and the Diary also keeps track of special items. In this game, you have 20 Flower Stones to collect, and another Diary section which catalogs all the small characters that you collect. These items give you a bonus at the end. Blue Tea is known for beautiful artwork, so lovely that you might wish to go there permanently! Hurry to get this one on sale!

Always fun with Blue Tea. I haven't reviewed a game in a while as I am so far behind in my playing that by the time I get to it, many other reviewers have already given we gamers plenty of good feedback and I thank you all. I have to disagree with some of the reviewers on the game tho..sry Moonbeam...I liked this game. The scenes are truly intricate and beautiful with lovely music to match this high quality game that only Blue Tea gives to the game world. I don't much care for the HOP format but the details of the objects make it a pleasant change. No teleporting but that is not that bad. Storyline is very good with a real twist in the background of some favorite fairytale characters. I use a stylus to play the game and it is much less painful on the fingers to let the thick rubber tip keep hitting a stubborn object! Wishing you all the best in health and happiness Hossy🐎

Enough!. I probably have never liked a game less...and I’m pretty easy to please
