Great app. This app helped me pass both AANP and ANCC! Love the mnemonics, memorized many that helped on the tests. I also used Barkley and Hollier reviews, but all questions from here several times

Good review app as a supplement. Just passed FNP 2023. I used fitzgerald (which school made us pay for as part of out tuition) and i bought this app for 2 months to supplement more questions. I like that the app has people updating questions and does have good questions. My only con is that the app rationalization sometimes uses uptodate answers. While uptodate is correct, it may not always be the first choice in terms of introductory primary care knowledge.

FNP Mastery is Amazing!. Lots of FNP students I’ve heard had been using this app along with other live reviews of their choice, and many have stated FNP mastery has helped them tremendously with the rationales that are given to help students learn and retain information. Questions can be accessed from laptop and on the go on your phone! It is so easy accessible and convenient. Definitely would recommend 10/10. CANT wait to pass my ANCC very soon!

Thank you!. This was one of the tools I used to pass boards. It’s very convenient because you have the app handy any time there are a few moments to spare (waiting to pick kids up from lessons, in line at the grocery store, while cooking dinner, etc.). Love the rationale when something doesn’t click the first time, and the ability to revisit questions you haven’t quite mastered. Worth every penny! Customer service is also top notch.

Excellent review of topics!. I loved this app for extra review of topics and body systems as a way to make you think more in depth. Thanks to adding this to my study regime, I passed my FNP exam.

Perfect for boards. I used this app as well as APEA review course and passed my boards first try. What I loved about this app is that it gives you detailed explanations of why the correct answer is correct. It definitely helped on the boards! I would highly recommend using this app!

You won’t regret purchasing this app!. Apart from a few spelling errors, the questions and rationales are extremely helpful in helping prospective FNP students grasp complex and straightforward questions. I absolutely love that this app gives the student the opportunity to reach a set number of questions per day in preparation for the boards. It would be great if the creation of tests could be increased to 150 or 175 questions to make it similar to the real tests. Otherwise, this app gets 5 stars!

Seems good but with technical issues. I’ve had several issues. #1 the app has trouble keeping track of progress. In one area it may show I have completed 580 questions, progress section may show 555 for example. #2 using the daily goal is frustrating as I set it to 100 questions and often know I have surpassed 100 in a day but it will show that I have completed 90. If I go answer 10 more it still shows 90. #3 the timing does not seem to correlate with my phones local time. Sometimes I will get a notification that I completed my daily goal early in the day well before I have answered 100 questions according to my local time. For example, I do questions on a Wednesday evening and can see it logging them to Thursday. #4 commenting/discussions on the app do not let you see what you type as you type it as it fills a text box below the keyboard. If I scroll down, it immediate scrolls up and away from the text as soon as I type again. #6 if I check my progress then try to go back to the questions, the app force closes and I have to relaunch. Almost every time. As far as content, this seems appropriate to help set the student up for AANC as it has numerous role, regulation, ethics, Medicare/Medicaid type questions. It also uses select all that apply. It would likely be beneficial in preparing for AANP as well.

Passed!. I used this app every day for 4 weeks and answered every question on the app! I read every rationale and I passed my boards this morning! Feb 2023!

Disappointed. I’ve enjoyed other “mastery” apps in the past but I am Very disappointed in this app so far. it has not tracked my progress, saying I have only answered 6 question despite answering over a few hundred. And what’s worse is it continues to repeat questions that I have already gotten correct and understood the content. For such an expensive product I seriously expected better. The questions themselves and rational are good, but if the actual delivery of the content is extremely lacking without it actually remembering my progress. I wouldn’t be so hard on the app except for the fact that it is expensive, I am willing to pay the price if it works, at this price I expect to not run into constant technical problems.

Great Questions - A Lot of App Issues. FNP Mastery has a lot of great questions, with great rationales. I really wish the app would be fixed so that I don’t spend most of my time clicking through questions that I’ve already answered 5 or more times. The app does not save progress on multiple devices, let alone one. My study goal is 25 questions a day. Everyday I click through about 15 questions that I’ve answered numerous times. It’s as if the app resets every day/night. How annoying! Also, if I try to “share my insight”, I am unable to see what I am typing, and I am unable to upload my comment/insight.

Don’t recommend. I just passed the AANP today and everywhere I read online said to do the Leik book and her app with the practice questions. I stuck with that advice and I loved her book and app. Her questions were easier to handle and gave me confidence, and some of them were word for word on the exam. The FNP Mastery app is WAY to specific, each question made me feel like I had to be a specialist to know the answer. Every time I’d try to do a few more practice questions in the FNP Mastery app, I would lose confidence in my knowledge. Waste of money. Stick with Leik!

Wrong information. This app gives wrong information and rationales. I got it for a quick review before boards and realized very quickly the information presented was wrong. Don’t risk your license with it. You’ve worked too hard.

Great questions!. I did all the questions on the app and used the account on my computer as well. I augmented the questions With the Leik textbook. The days before my exam I reviewed all the questions I didn’t now. I passed my AANP exam on the first try. I appreciated the in depth comprehensive content.

Great. Very well laid out. I'm learning a tremendous amount. It's so much easier than lugging my book to bed.

I passed my ANCC!!. I used this app along with Leik, Amelie and Fitzgerald review and passed my ANCC and felt extremely prepared for it. I even finished my exam 30 minutes early. I used other reviews for content, but only practiced questions on this app and honestly this apps question format helped me on the ANCC A LOT!! I highly recommend this app!

Such an incredible tool!. I used this app last spring to prepare for the ANCC board certification exam for Family Practice, and it helped me immensely! I used this app everyday, in stores lines, at my kids’ games, before bed every night, and I really felt like I had a better grasp on the concepts after I completed all the questions. It categorizes your answers into “Know” “Somewhat Know” and “Don’t Know” and then you can spend time studying other materials in areas that you’re not as strong. I did take a review course as well, but this app was integral in allowing me to pass the exam on the first try! The questions were so similar to what I saw on the exam.

FNP. I have been utilizing this application as a valuable tool in my preparation for the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) board examinations. Initially, I held a strong appreciation for the app's functionality. However, with my recent upgrade to an iPhone 15, I've noticed a significant shift in the app's structure, which has regrettably led to a diminished level of convenience in its use.

I passed. That’s all that matters. You still have to do the work... but it’s well written, well organized... and got the job done.

Passed ANCC boards. This was one of the best tools used for studying for boards. The content was spot on. FNP mastery is well worth your time and money.

Best App. This is pretty much all I used to review and prep for my ANCC FNP exam. Passed on the first try. Studied for about 2 weeks and I was good to go. I will admit though that the anxiety was at an all time high and it felt like I wasn’t prepared but to be honest, these practice questions felt more difficult than the actual exam.

Wonderful application!. I have tried so many and this one by far is the best. It also comes with a 24 hour all access free trial (not just a few questions like other apps) that allows access to study tips, exam strategies, and so much more! They have a tutor find area so you can get together with someone one-on-one if you desire. It is definitely the BEST study app I have found! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Very realistic. The app resembled the ANCC test format and testing contents. I would high recommend this as a study tool for preparing for you board examination

Easy to use and effective. I used this app daily from when I finished school (end of July) until I took the test Sept 10 and passed on the first try! Highly recommend!

EXCELLENT!!!!. I wish I would have known about the app while I was I school. It is a phenomenal tool! I passed my FNP exam on first try and I contribute that to the app. I like how it gives you the rational for all possible answers. That was helpful in gaining a better understanding of the material. Use with other reviews. I took my AANP board and passed first try. This app ask questions and words them poorly at times but it is made that way intentionally to help you think through questions better and I feel like it worked for me. It also cover things school and my review never did. I also used the Barkley and Associates review and used 2 of their tests, and their review was good as well. The app is good but use some sort of review and not just the app alone.

I PASSED WITH THIS APP!. I used this app religiously and went through the questions twice, some sections 3 times, until I knew the material backwards and forwards. I also attended one live review with Hollier (APEA) and listened to the entire recorded review from Barkley, and I studied from the Leik Review Book, as well. I passed the ANCC FNP Cert on first try, and I’ve gotta say that the FNP MASTERY APP was THE MOST HELPFUL of all 4. Get it! The best $50 you’ll ever spend!

Not up to date. The content is not up to date and this is evident in the questions about cytology an d the current recommendations for the different age groups, same for other contents. They should update the whole app.

App not working!. App not currently working for last few days! I was using it to study & sudddenly all the assessment questions were gone. I reinstalled it several times & and it keeps getting stuck on a page wanting to install other apps & won’t go into the app! Please fix this huge bug as this was an awesome study tool for boards. Very disappointing!

Great app!. FNP Mastery played a large part in helping me pass the AANP FNP Boards on my first try. Make sure to read the rationales for each question (even if you got it right) and do NOT get discouraged if you’re not doing as well as you’d like on the FNP Mastery questions as they are more difficult than the Boards questions. And that’s a good thing.

Impossible to cancel. This app is great! However I canceled my subscription in February, and they continue to charge me every month! I’ve emailed them with no response! I have disputed this with my credit card, but even that takes a few months. Am at a total loss on what to do!

Lots of Glitches. Enjoy the app. Many challenging questions with great rationals. Unfortunately, the app freezes frequently and other glitches like completing a quiz and receiving a “0” at the end when you have selected the right answers.

Informative and Convenient. I used the RN app throughout my nursing school and I absolutely loved it! It gives you a very rich rationale. That’s when you learn. Understanding the why yes or not behind the answers. Now, I’m trying the FNP and I’m enjoying as much as the RN. You just play whenever you idle.

Worth Every Penny. This was the only App I purchased to study for the exam. I also studied from the Maria Leik book. The thing I like about this app is that I was able to work through the questions anywhere at all times of the day. I am a busy mom with two small children so this app made it super convenient for me to study. Also, the questions on this app were similar to ones on the exam. I took the AANP as well as the ANCC exams and passed both on the first try.

Extremely helpful!. Used this in addition to the Leik FNP certification exam book & online questions. Passed first try. I diligently studied for around 1 month after graduating, more so in the last few weeks and these two resources saved me. SO many topics/questions were EXTREMELY similar to the exam. Very happy with this purchase and WAY cheaper than other options. Very thankful!

Great purchase!. I learn best my going through practice questions. I’m using this app along with my FNP program, going system by system based on the upcoming tests. The questions help me identify what I don’t know or what I don’t clearly understand. It’s a great resource. I highly recommend it!

FNP exam. This app is so good. It is worth investing in it. The questions and rationales reinforced a lot of the contents I had learned in school • I used this app for my AANP Certification and also did a crash course . I passed on my first attempt. This app is God sent to me.

Perfect for Barkley Review. Questions line right up with Barkley Review. I love Barkley and answering questions on this App. Heard the Leik review book is good too. APEA is missing the details and I don’t care for it over Barkley.

Best App for NP Prep. I used this app in preparation for my boards and it was exactly what I needed! The content material and study quizzes were easy to use and very helpful. I definitely recommend this app to anyone preparing for certification.

Complete game changer. Have downloaded so many apps and this one is HANDS DOWN the absolute best! Trust me, it gave me so much confidence. Great questions with rationales and was just like the actual exam. And most importantly, I PASSED!!!

Good exam prep. The best way I learn is through doing questions because it’s more engaging than a book. They have a rationale for each answer choice and then a more detailed rationale at the bottom. The only con is that this service is subscription based rather than the one time payment for other similar services like the leik app. Make sure you cancel the subscription once you pass boards. There are more than twice as many questions as leik. They add new questions too. I’m in the process of preparing for boards. Using this app is convenient and a better deal than the APEA questions.

Good app. I used FNP mastery as a QBank for my ANCC exam and I feel it it prepared me and above for my exam. The questions were challenging and very detailed on all topics. I would recommend this app to other students. Thanks FNP mastery. Only thing is it doesn’t have visuals or physical assessment videos but still a great source!

Awesome app for ANCC test prep. I only used this app and the Maria Leik book to prepare for the ANCC FNP exam and passed on the first try. I did not take a review course. This app gives great explanations and the question format is similar to what is on the exam. For $45 dollars, the full version is completely worth it and worth every cent! I will be recommending this app to anyone preparing for the ANCC FNP exam. I honestly think it is even worth it for those who are taking Adult-Gero because there isn't a ton of peds stuff and you can filter out the peds questions.

Passed! Big part thanks to this app!!. This is the 1st time I’ve ever reviewed an app. This was the best study resource out of all of them. Out of all the stuff out there, the questions on the AANP exam were MOST like these. (The hard and challenging questions, not the easy ones.) I liked being able to do 2-3 questions when I only had a couple mins, or log in from a PC and build a full length test. The rationales helped me learn and get in the habit of avoiding easy traps.

Great App!. This app is very helpful! I love that I can see rationale, review pertinent information, view images with test questions, mark questions that I need to further study, and many other useful features! It's easy to use anywhere, and I can quickly study at anytime and anyplace. There are so many extra features at the click of a button and are easy to use and find! Great app all around. New Grad. This app is great!! The questions are right on target with courses for FNP. It is great to have a mobile app with such an accumulative amount of questions on every topic. This has been a huge help for studying not only for my courses but for boards too!!

Great App for FNP ANCC. This is an excellent app to study for your boards! Lots of sample questions, quizzes, and even a study reminder. And if you ever need customer service- they respond right away and solve your issue. This has built my confidence level! A good student investment!

App closes.. Downloaded to my ipad, worked fine before the may 3 update. Havent been able to use it since. It closes when you try to select an answer to a question. A waste of money.

Great practice app. Good explanation of answers and practice questions but many typos. Also, some quiz questions pertain to scenarios given in the following question (I.e. - asked in wrong order) so if you're confused by the question, forward to the next one and see if it makes more sense.

Great app!!. I graduate in a few months and decided I needed to start studying early. Since I always have my phone with me I can literally study anywhere. I love the fact that I can tag questions that I need to brush up on in order to go back and do so at a later time of my choosing. Very convenient and very helpful!!

Great portable study app. This app has allowed me to study between patients and at lunch while I am at my clinical sites as well as at home. It allows me to see the areas I need more review in and where a quick review would be helpful. Overall, I love this app.

Excelente!!. I'm in my 15th month of a 24 mo MSN FNP program. This app is amazing! Love it!! Great questions. Great review. Do wish they'd change the questions around if you got them wrong. Like, B was the correct answer and next time you see the question, B is still the answer. Not enough of a complaint to change my 5-star rating!

Won’t work. I would love to use this but i can’t get the app to load on my phone.

Great, but no online computer access as advertised. This is a fantastic app. The rationales and content are excellent. The format and functionality are awesome. Unfortunately it does not have an online/computer format like it advertised. Still is working out ok for me but I missed one study day using it since I intended to use a computer rather than my iPad.

Good prep for NP certification exams. Questions were a great review. They definitely prepared me for the ANCC. Information is relevant and asked in a similar format as the exam. They do send out a lot of emails for you to purchase the full app. I was happy with the trial version and reviewed most of the questions a few days before my exam.

Needs more progress details. It would be nice if it has a calendar or a way that keeps track of how many questions we're doing per day instead of just establishing a daily goal without a way for us to see our progress.

Board prep. I am finishing up my NP program and am looking for ways to help me study. This program is easy to use and the it has a great databank of questions. I like that it gives you rationales for each answer as well.

So convenient. The ability to review in small increments of down time was very convenient! The filtering of test question competency ensures questions are answered correctly. I found the explanations for test questions very useful!

Perfect!. I have tried a few other study apps and some are crazy hard or ridiculously easy. This feels similar to my graduate program information. Easy to navigate and explanations are concise but thorough.

More question. whenever I finish a section of questions, for example, skin problems, I expect to get new questions in the same category. I finish skin questions and there is no more skin question. Please set to send NEW skin questions.

Great app. This is a great app. I can study anywhere without having to keep large textbooks at my side. I like the flexibility to study one body system at a time or take a comprehensive quiz. It also allows me to tag the ones I need to review. Each question has detailed rationale as well. I've already recommended to friends!

FMP review. Great app shows all around questions and gives rationale for the correct answer and you can rate whether you knew it or didn't know what our might've known it! Great review

No. App constantly crashes . If it is not crashing the imagine get distorted, unable to complete a quiz without an error occurring. Frustrating to pay all that money for an app and it does not function 50 percent of the time.

Great Tool. Questions feel appropriate to NP practice, unlike some of the other apps in which questions are more suited for basic nursing practice or specialty medicine. All in all a great tool to use after studying in order to test your metal.

Not very good. I was totally prepared to buy the full version, but I took one quiz to try it first, and it's clear this app is broken. Of the 20 questions asked, I got one question that asked me to "select all that apply," then only let me pick one choice, and two questions asking me to pick the most likely diagnosis- with literally no information, just a list of four disease. So that's kind of worthless.
