Restore content and bugs. First of all, thank Aspyr Media for releasing this game on iOS platform. It enables people to play on different platforms and will reach a wider gamers and spread influences, given how philosophical this game is. I have several concerns. First, we really want to see it integrated with TSL Restored Content Mod, as the game itself is largely incomplete on story. Second, there are some bugs such as not gaining experience on Peragus turret fight, and I cannot install HK-47’s special module as the dialogue was not triggered even after I bought the module.

Developers, plz help!. The game has been fantastic so far, but far into my game I have encountered a game-breaking bug. After all jedi have been convinced to go back to Dantoinne, when I travel back there in the Ebon Hawk, and go to leave it onto the planet...the screen just goes black. Like a cut scene is supposed to load but won’t. So, after advancing maybe 75 percent through the main plot, the game freezes and you can no longer play. This is bad. Developers, please fix this in a patch ASAP, so I (we) can continue playing this awesome classic game! ( one of my all time favorites)

The best-written Star Wars game now on IOS!. This is my favorite Star Wars game and playing it on my phone is a dream. I would reiterate what another reviewer said and note that it would be amazing for the restored content mod to be brought over as well. Also, a small request to the devs: I love playing KOTOR with the sound down so I can have my own music playing as the app runs. Right now, KOTOR 2 doesn’t let me do this. My music stops whenever I open the app and I can’t get it to work. If you guys would change this, you’d be making my favorite app even better

Great potential. First off, the sound doesn’t work in the game... this obviously take half the fun out of the game play. This isn’t an issue with my settings. I have checked all configurations and connected to AirPods; still no sound. I also have an issue with controlling the character. You can only direct the character with one thumb. Meaning when running, you can’t look around like other RPG gameplay. If we could run with the left thumb and look around with the right, then gameplay would be dramatically improved. Other then that, I haven’t found any other issues with the game so far. I am very excited!

Awesome!. The game was buggy it first came out for PC. The fact that it runs this smooth on a tablet is nothing short of amazing. The only real issue I have is equipment management for the party. Normally it can be done from the Ebon Hawk/characters ship. The buttons are so tiny to switch from different companions on the ship to Change their load out make them almost impossible to hit on touch screen. Managing characters equipment is a massive pain because of this. If the buttons were just made a little bigger when switching between characters from the inventory menu I would literally have no complaints on this game

I never thought I’d see the day.... This game is without a doubt, one of the greatest RPG’s of all time, next to its prequel. The fact I saw this released for mobile on my birthday, was without a doubt one of the greatest birthday presents, ever. The character development, backstories, intricate gameplay, the multiple solutions to pick from for every situation, the extensive skill tree, etc., along with many other aspects, makes this a full and truly unique RPG that has never been made like it before. Be prepared to face a series of emotions including but not limited to: Satisfaction, Drive, Frustration (because of encounters with other devious characters, not because of the gameplay itself), Happiness, Sadness, Love, Hate, and Regret. This is a game that can be played 10+ times over and possibly still not reach every goal, encounter every aspect, or turn over every stone. Truly one of the greats. Worth every penny, and then some.

Amazing game once they squash the bugs!. Firstly, like many others I am currently stuck on dantooine. Vrook is stuck and the merc battle goes to black after the cutscene. Also the movement is cumbersome in that you will very frequently engage in unwanted dialogue or actions by barely sweeping over them while just trying to turn your character around. There are a few other bugs as well but I will say load times are VERY fast on iPhone 11. This game is ENORMOUS for an iOS game and it’s only been out a short while so I will wait patiently while they patch these problems. If you’re less patient, maybe save your money.

Love it so much. This app is great!! I’ve been waiting the last 5 years since I’ve started playing KOTOR on mobile for KOTOR 2 on here! I downloaded it the very minute I got the notification that it was ready to be installed, and I’m still playing. Currently as of typing this, I’m on the Citadel Station part, and so far, it runs very well, haven’t received any bugs :) this app is very worth the $15, and I don’t doubt that it’ll be very popular once more people download it!!! :)

Five star failure!!. Who wants to spend all this money and time on something just for a bug that doesn’t allow you to get off of Telos and finish the game. Never will I ever purchased another game like this and I hope nobody else does either because it is robbery to charge that much for this many bugs.!!! After boarding the ebon hawk for the first time at the telos Jedi training facility, the game glitches and will not allow the player to leave the ebon hawk or activate star map. On the way to the cockpit, the game will glitch and you can see through walls and the cockpit will not fully load showing clear signs of glitching. If you save the game and reload the game, it will put you back into the game as a random white skinned Jedi, with a blue light saber and a dark skinned portrait of a woman. The game will let you save before you enter the ebon hawk for the first time at the Jedi training facility on Telos without glitching, but once you enter the ebon hawk and it cuts to the scenes once you’re on the ebon Hawk, the game will not allow you to do anything. I have taken screenshots to prove it because I really don’t want to quit this game but I will because I have spent money on it just for it to mess up like this.

The bugs ruins it for me. First: I want to be clear that I absolutely love this game and am so grateful to the people who made it and transferred it, but I’ve run into a serious problem: *spoilers* There is a known bug that sometimes the game isn’t able to load Dantooine after you’ve been to another planet. On the PC version there is a way to overcome by messing with program files, but there is no such solution on the iOS version. I’m not sure how much of a lift it would be, but I’m desperate for someone to fix this bug and let me finish the game! Otherwise I’ll need to replay to whole thing basically lol

Been waiting for YEARS!. Been waiting for years for this game to come out on iOS! Ever since they did that poll back in like 2015! Love it so far! Haven’t had any issues or glitches so far. My only real complaint is that the menu text is TINY. I mean tiny! I don’t have bad eyes at all and unless I have the brightness turned up I struggle with it sometimes. But the dialogue text is perfect so it’s just a bit of a minor gripe. Still loving it!

A Timeless Classic Finally on Mobile!. Why are you reading my review? There are a billion reviews of this out there! Go read a classic one from the 2000s and get hyped! It is 4 stars only because there is no gamepad support yet, unlike the first game ported by Aspyr. These guys have all of my respect for the amazing work they do, and I’m sure that the gamepad support will come. At the moment though, it’s a pretty glaring absence. I’m not a fan of touch controls, so I’m looking forward to being able to play this with my Razer Kishi. If that’s not something that bothers you, then there’s no reason not to get this game. KOTOR 1 and 2 are the best RPGs you can put on your iPhone, no competition.

Best iOS RPG. If you can overlook somewhat dated graphics, lack of class balance, and combat that is rarely challenging on max difficulty, then this iPhone game offers unparalleled value. Through rippling decisions and witty dialogue, it explores ethical gray areas and nuances. The complex character building systems and storylines allow for addictively immersive and replayable enjoyment. I selfishly hope the game’s developer, Obsidian, profits greatly off of this creation as another sequel would thrill me.

Finally, a phone game I actually want to play. Hats off to the devs on this one. For real, I’ve never spent money on a mobile game, but I LEAPT at the chance to buy this bundle. I’m barely out of the prologue on KOTOR 1, and a couple missions in on Nar Shadaa on KOTOR 2, and haven’t come across any major glitches or irregularities. Movement is a little awkward, and I find myself clicking my companions as I’m trying to turn the camera around, but I honestly couldn’t think of an alternative so I’ll put up with it. Glad to pick this classic back up, keep up the good work.

Disappointing Port. My favorite game of all time, but there’s no denying that the first game got a MUCH better port to iOS. Very little was done to optimize the interface - it’s essentially just the pc interface with touch controls. This can be very frustrating at times since I constantly found myself double-tapping things accidentally or struggling to get my touch to register on a button. Second, the overall bugginess of NPC pathing really gets exposed with the poor controls. KOTOR2’s combat was always a lot buggier than the original but when you can’t fluidly move you character these pathing bugs get really annoying. Lastly, it’s just not very well optimized from a tech standpoint either. It chews through my battery 10x faster than the original does, and that’s not all that much of an exaggeration. Overall it’s still awesome to have this on my iPad, but sadly this port is just objectively inferior to the PC version in almost every way

Some issues. Have the latest version and notice some of the dialogue scenes get skipped especially with t3m4. I only noticed because I have the original Xbox version. Yesterday I was playing got to Telos Lt. Gran says your ship and all droids weapons will be confiscated during the investigation. T3 immediately beeps in but they skipped his audio and visual and you get a quick flash to Gan saying you’re a droid so yes that includes you too. A few other scenes like that especially talking to T3 but that was the most glaring noticeable as being an opening scene to a new planet. Otherwise the gameplay is pretty good you definitely need a controller for swoop racing and if you want to hit the achievement of not letting a single with trooper in the ebon hawk with touch controls good luck with that if you can do it you’re better than me for sure lol.

Buggy and some Serious inconsistencies.. I’m a huge fan of this game which is why I’m writing this review. I love that it has been made available to play through the App Store. However there are some serious fundamental problems with the game that make it a very frustrating experience. For example there’s one puzzle in particular that’s in the tomb of a certain Sith Lord that required the player to solve a math equation. After trying for over an hour to figure this puzzle out I realized that not only did the devs ignore order of operations but when I entered the “correct” sequence of operations it told me I got it wrong each time. It’s such a bad feeling in games when there’s a puzzle that’s really tough, you’ve given it your all, you simply can’t figure it out, and you feel you have no recourse but to move on from the unsolved task. It’s even WORSE when you do figure it out, second guess yourself and look up the answer online only to find out that you were correct in the first place and the only thing between you & your treasure is bad design. 😞

Very satisfied. It’s just as I remembered it for the original Xbox. And it has MFI controller support to it. I’m glad I can use my Xbox one controller to play this game on my iOS and it works perfectly no complaints from me. I love how you guys changed some things in this game to make it easier to access the options and other things. I runs smoothly on my iPhone SX. I’m so happy you guy brought out my favorite KOTOR games on to the iOS. The first one was ok. But the second one is my absolute favorite. Thank youz

Love it but.... I’ve been waiting forever to play this game again and finish it. This is a great port, but there are three problems. 1. Crashing. The game has crashed at least 5 times. I have a iPhone 10 plus. 2. Sound. Sometimes, when I get a phone call, when I start playing the game again, there’s no sound, so I have to restart it. And 3. Words are really tiny to read on Main menu and the item page. Fix these and I’ll give it 5 stars. Really is a classic, though!

KOTOR 1 was way more user friendly. Was beyond excited for this to release and am left frustrated I have to try and play through the game squinting at my screen. The options menus are ridiculously small for no reason. They have lots of space wasted on each side of the menu. The movement has also changed from Kotor 1 where now it is very slow and not seamless. You used to be able to look with one thumb and run with the other. Now you have to try and manage to do both with one thumb??? I hope these bugs get fixed

Audio can controls. I absolutely love this game and I’m more then happy that it’s finally been ported over for mobile, the only issues I’m having is the audio when I walk seem not to work correctly when I walk or engage in battle all I can hear is the music, the controls are also a problem it seams like when I run I’m not able to look around and run at the same time causing me to have to stop and reposition the camera to move in the direction I want to go. Once those problems are fixed this game will easily get 5 stars from me

Major audio related issue.. I loved the original KOTOR but never played the 2nd game. Seen it on the App Store for a while now and finally chose to buy it here rather than on my Xbox. Big mistake. I can’t play a game without listening to some sort of podcast or music. But this is the only game I’ve ever gotten on my phone which doesn’t let you play any audio from another app while the game is running. It shuts it off the second you start the app. It makes absolutely no sense to force this upon the user. Can this be changed? I definitely can not play this without that luxury.

Finally here! The best and darkest Star Wars. First off I just wanna say I’m so thankful this game is finally here I’ve been hoping for this port to be able to cross over to the phones for so long. I love the first game but the second game was the first one I played out of the two and I was blown away by the amazing role-playing mechanics and story. The best thing about this game are the characters and how the characters are the focus and this one a lot more. Influencing your companions to make them into Jedis or sets is one of the most satisfying payoffs in this 30+ our video game. In short you definitely want to buy this and have it on your phone to be able to play wherever you go it is a timeless classic and my favorite piece of Star Wars media out of every game movie or TV show. Kreia is the most interesting and best character ever. My only complaint is I noticed the characters running speed is significantly slower than what it was on PC and Xbox. Please adjust this so that running speed is as fast or even faster than the original game. The KOTOR 1 port to the phone had boosted the running speed for the player so I’m sure Aspyr can also fix this with KOTOR 2. Thank you!

Great Game with A Small downside. This game is great. So glad that it’s finally on the mobile store. But the one thing that actually hurts me and makes me get mad, is the camera controls/movement for Swoop racing, shooting from the Ebon Hawk, or anything that isn’t actually your character. The moment is horrible on them. And half the time in the races, the speed pads don’t register and work to speed you up, leaving you to always lose. Along with the fact that the movement while racing is jagged and just not as good as a console/PC version of this game. Other than that, I’ll be spending many hours on this game. Hopefully working to slowly... and calmly, beating the races.

Great game but still so many bugs. Like I said, great game that I’ve enjoyed since it came out 16 years ago. It’s just a shame that they still haven’t figured out how to fix the same problems from.. 16 years ago. Most of the game runs fine and beginners wouldn’t even notice anything wrong. If you’ve never played KOTOR II before, ignore this rant and consider this a 5* rating. But certain side quests are supposed to give you particular items to enable to get you inside a specific room, for instance, many many hours later into the game. Well I just found out, probably 15 more hours into the game, that the item was never actually put in my inventory. So even though I can go back in my quest log and verify I did things correctly, there’s no way to finish this extended “quest” other than go 15 hours back and replay everything once again. That’s definitely not worth my time.. I only decided to show support for you guys and buy the game again, hoping that the love was really put into it this time. Tl;dr: It’s basically a KOTOR II CD-ROM ported to iOS with some antialiasing features. It performs as such, don’t expect to discover any new (repaired) content.

A Deep, Philosophical Interrogation of Its Source Material. Obsidian took the opportunity to make an Empire to KOTOR’s New Hope, and boy did they run with it. A dark, intense and strange meditation on the problems of Jedi pacifism and a glimpse of how the galaxy recovers in the wake of one of those titular Star Wars. Aspyr does this game justice in this port - while the game was notorious for its instability and incompleteness on release, it’s in a far better state now, more than 15 years on. And if you want to add in cut content, even here on iOS, Reddit says it’s possible to do so, and they have instructions. The only thing it’s missing, in my opinion, is controller support. But we can’t get everything we want!

Crashed or bugged or something corrupted.. About the second or third time I played the game it started behaving weird. I can’t trigger the narshaddah red eclipse and stuff disappears. I have been all over everything in the game and came back from three planets. The entire visas thing and all of the quests on narshaddah. Still no red eclipse. Quello appears twice and that’s it. Have to reinstall it a second time and hope it works. It works fine the first time you play. After two games and a reinstall it’s crashing or not continually getting anywhere.

Cloud saves and controller support!. In the load game menu, there is an iCloud logo on the right side...this lets you upload a save file to the cloud to play between iPhone/iPad. Xbox controller works fine but touch controls honestly aren’t bad for this style game. The game also stays loaded in the iPhone 12’s ram so that you can minimize the game, do other stuff and then jump right back to where you were..great port in most aspects..worth the money.

Greatest Piece Of Star Wars Media Ever!. The KOTOR series is my all time favorite Star Wars story ever told. This game is of no exception. The characters are deep and fascinating (especially Kriea), the psychological aspect of the force and the total deconstruction of a typical Star Wars is told like no other. The only unfortunate part is that this doesn’t have the restored content mod, but even without it, the game is brilliant just like the first KOTOR game. Regardless of how much of a fan of Star Wars you are, this game is a MUST BUY for its writing alone. The old school D&D RPG aspect takes it over the top.

Black screen.... I am in the Defense if Koonda mission, turned in the final preparations for the defenses, after I repaired all the droids and repaired all the turrets and engaged them to hostiles only, the screen goes black. If I touch where certain things are, such as the map in the top right or the menu in top left, they open, it shows me on the map in front of the desk clerk inside the estate. I am unable to move or do anything. I’ve sat the game down and just left it for nearly an hour thinking something might happen, but nothing.... I need to know what to do because I REALLY don’t want to restart the game!!

LBeautiful, just beautiful. Totally worth the pre-order! Huge nostalgia rush, loved the first one and the sequel even more. I’m so grateful for this, especially since Aspyr said (what feels like long ago) they likely wouldn’t do this. All I can say is: THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Now the only thing, just ONE thing, is I’m a little sad that this is the cut content version that was released on launch back in the day. Though I’m hopeful updates may restore the full version. Regardless, cut or not, this game gets 5 stars from me right off the bat. Runs way better than it did on my old computer back then as well haha! I remember having to install a bunch of patches and fixes. Now it’s all on smartphones, just amazing how times have changed. Once again a big thanks to Aspyr for this, I rarely write reviews at all but this was so worth a 5 star.

Almost amazing. When the game first came out on console, like KOTOR one, it changed the field of gaming in big and great ways. Now that the KOTOR series is mobile they have the potential to do it again. The first has controller support, but this one doesn’t. Both games have some bugs and clunky controls, and KOTOR two’s are worse. I loved these games, and I want to love them again, but that’s hard to do without a controller and so many bugs. Don’t get me wrong, even without the controller the games are still pretty good, the developers knew how to work with touch screens, but they could be so much better.

Ducking amazing. This game is the best space rpg I’ve played since Star Wars The Old Republic. I haven’t beaten the first one yet since I’m stuck on Taris. Playing the path of the dark side is so well done. It took me 30+ hours to beat this game. Mostly looking for quest items. Romancing Visas Marr and causing the woman in white to fight with her was awesome. The pilot-smuggler is a classic piece of Star Wars. All the while, Kreia is planning to betray you yet you kill her anyway. Watching the exile go from fair toned and human to sickly pale with yellow eyes is an astounding process that I didn’t notice until I was on Onderon. Too bad it’s unfinished. There is a mod on PC however that restores most cut content. Overall, Obsidian deserves better with what happened to KOTOR III. The trilogy must be completed.

Simply Amazing!. KOTOR 2 is hands down the best out there in terms of Star Wars mobile rpg games. I’m not the type of person who plays rpgs at all but when I first played KOTOR 1 I couldn’t put my phone down even despite it having its challenging moments at times, I managed to finish it and love every bit of it. Now that I’ve finished KOTOR 2 I look back on KOTOR 1 and realize that KOTOR 2 simply surpasses the first. The story, character development, customization options and everything about KOTOR 2 is just brilliant that I couldn’t stop playing and finished it in about a week or less. All in all, if you’re looking to get into a rpg game, more specifically, Star Wars, then KOTOR 1 and 2 are a great start.

Better optimized than kotor 1!. This game on the iPhone is a dream come true! I just hope asypr will take the time to spruce up kotor 1 a little bit so both games will match. For example, the main menu for 2 is just like the desktop game but kotor 1 has a 2d menu. Maybe they’ll change that soon? Also the dialogue options feel more interactive as you get to see your character rather than have them cover the entire screen. Just some ideas I’d love to see implemented. Thank you for also having mod support for the restoration mod!

Great port. Been a fan of these games since they came out. I was very excited when the second one was finally released and I’m really satisfied with how it plays on the iPhone. As many have said the turn based (hidden dice too) lends itself well to the mobile platform. I’ve played them consistently over the years but it’s funny how much easier than when I was a kid playing them. Really the only issue I have is that it can overheat my phone just a tad, and while it doesn’t crash, my phone (iPhone 11) will drop the brightness on what is already a fairly dark game, even with settings maxed in that regarded. Not too terrible though. Well worth the money

Good game just wish it had some features. I’ve finished this game and I did finish it as soon as it came out on iOS but I wish that their were achievements for certain things like if you finish the game and beat Kreia then you can start a new game with cheats on letting you add whatever you want from the game into your inventory or when you beat Sion or nilus you can start the new game wearing their armor if you complete the game with at least 75% dark side you at level 20 get the force ability of force sabers or at 75% light you at level 20 get world knowledge or if you finish at complete gray Jedi or Sith then you get at Korriban or a hidden chest on Dantooine you get a light side or dark side of Revan’s armor or lightsabers. That was a lot and I just want something new o the game because I’ve just gotten bored of the repetitive story with the same items

Dead Stop Glitches Galore. This release is far too buggy. Dantooine Examples - Vrook glitch keeps him trapped in his cage with no dialog...later the cut mercenary assault scene fades to black, hangs playing music and never launches Khoonda battle. I’m literally stuck and cannot proceed with the game. There are other examples as well but they did not stop the game from progressing. Not sure it’s worth starting over to be honest. This is super frustrating after investing several hours. Any suggestions? I am a big fan of the first KOTOR on the iPad. But This release? Not so much. Gamers, if you are on the fence about spending a fair amount on an iPad game, you might want to hold off for awhile until there are later releases. Assuming anyone wants to fix this.

No more dupe glitch. The duplication glitch is what made this game fun and worth playing and allowed me to create a variety of builds for both me and all of my followers however that has now been patched whether intentionally or not which has made the insane prices of some of the items in the vendors very obvious this play through that I never noticed before. Even if you horde cash like crazy you might be able to buy maybe one or two really good items from them as most of the best items in the game are sold for an absurd amount of credits and even if you get or buy something like the Mandalorian disintegrator you won’t be able to duel wield them unless you get lucky enough to find another because you can’t dupe it anymore or anything else

Great Game with game breaking bug. This is an excellent game. It’s tons of fun with a great story and characters. I haven’t played this in years so when I found out that I could get my hands on it here I was pumped. It’s been great to play it again, but I’ve encountered a game breaking bug that’s ruined the experience. On Dantooine I can’t speak to master Vrooks even after I’ve defeated the mercenaries. This was weird but it got even worse when I did the battle of Khoonda mission. After the cut scene ends I get given a black screen that makes progression impossible. I love this game, but until this bugged story mission gets fixed I can’t recommend it.

Great game but there’s a huge glitch. I was obsessed with the first game so when I saw il the second one was released on the AppStore I was overjoyed. Was I thrilled to spend $15 on the game? Not really. Did I get mad when the game had a huge glitch which caused me to not be able to get further into the game? Absolutely. For an app that’s $15 there shouldn’t be such a huge glitch on Nar Shadaa that stops you from playing the game any further. Don’t waste your money until this is fixed. I got about 20 hours into the game only to find out that this glitch is a thing and now I can’t play anymore of it until this glitch is fixed.

Great game all in all..... So I must say, I’ve been waiting for this game for a very long time. The copies I played on the original XBOX had a bug to where the game wouldn’t proceed. It would get stuck on a certain loading screen. Luckily that’s been fixed on this port. This game has been loads of fun to play. I would say the only downside is the wonky controls. A digital Joystick or maybe left side of the screen for movement and right side of the screen for looking/turning would be much better. Rather than that, it’s still a fun game.

Interface issues. This game rocks and I’m glad to see it’s on mobile, I just had a problem with the interface text being too small and the hud should be redesigned to look normal on newer phones. I also suggest that they move the quicksave button far away from the options button. This is very minor, but it slightly bothered me how a lot of the menu buttons are light blue when the rest of game is mostly green themed. That’s about it. I remember seeing a review on kotor 1 about someone being upset that the button to spin your swords from the original game was removed on the mobile version and it upset them because they used to spam that button all the time, as I’m sure we all have, and they added that button in the mobile version of this game, so if that doesn’t make you want to buy it, I don’t know what will. Oh yeah, and fix the bug where the audio cuts out after a phone call.

I love this game! Still good on the iPhone!. I’ve played this game more than once on the computer and it is my second favorite game ever, after KOTOR 1. It does have a few issues when it comes to certain quests or certain doors that don’t open but seem as though they should. However, the original game also had this. The game is still definitely fun and enjoyable despite that, however. I love the character development they did in the story, especially for Kreia.

Amazing!. I have to say, waking up one day to see my favorite game of all time come to mobile was amazing. Even more so actually playing it. It runs great for me, I do have a bug with sound effects but I’m sure they’ll fix that before long. Now the next thing I need to figure out is if they added the RCM content in the game or not, I’m assuming not and really hope they will or give us an option/way to install it. I’d also like an option for cheats, I’ve played this game dozens of times so having a little fun with an OP character wouldn’t be too bad. Well, just having more speech would be great! 😂

Top tier w/ room for improvement. Great port to mobile. Have loved this series for the longest time, remember playing it on original Xbox. My only ask, find a way to pay the devs and give an optional install for the steam restored content mod. Fixing dialog options with HK47, the telos conservation area, etc.. Observations: - when you select a force power (heal, speed, etc) and use it, after portaling into the next area, the menu resets at the top. Would be great to be able to keep it on last selected item (or an option to enable it). True of all cutscene fights too, super tedious when trying to force speed out of somewhere like cantina on telos or using any guide/speeder - controls for swoop races, would be great for input sensitivity changes. Feels a little sluggish and the jump button could be bigger - if no restored content mod, quest dismissal for some of the bugged ones? 😄 - option to enable double tap for dialog? Sometimes trying to select remains or spin the camera results in a funny endless talking to someone loop - Fun bug in doing echani training with handmaiden, if you equip a weapon right as it loads you kill her for real. Try to leave the ebon hawk and her companion image is blank and says “I’m broken. I’m so sorry.” Good spot for an achievement or easter egg Thanks to all. Great game ❤️

My favorite RPG of all time!. I love this game to death, having played it numerous times throughout the years. I was introduced to it by my father but I was hooked to it before I could even read. That being said, this mobile port was a great Christmas present to myself last year, and being able to play it on mobile has been amazing. However, ps5 controllers do not work on this version, which deeply saddens me as I do not have a micro usb charger for my older DualShock 4 anymore. Once they fix/introduce ps5 controller support, it’ll be 5/5 stars for me!

Aspyr Media is a terrible company!. Aspyr is lazy and incapable. None of the work they do amounts to any game that is playable and smooth operating. Aspyr is purely a cash-grab minded group that has plagued our favorite Star Wars classics. I was hesitant to buy these KOTOR games because I was severely disappointed in Aspyr’s port of the incredible Star Wars Jedi Academy games. Especially with the absolute neglect and disregard for the community that plays it’s broken multiplayer portion. Yet I did. I bought the game. I bought BOTH games. And both of them were bugged beyond belief. I’ve encountered bugs where all the sound, except for the voices in cutscenes, would just cut off until I’ve gotten to a new and not previously explored zone. When I got out of combat I could no longer move with whatever character I was using (which for me is almost always my main character). I would have to change the party leader to navigate the world. With these two bugs combined I just don’t even want to play any more. I haven’t even gotten past the first planet on KOTOR II and I haven’t even gotten past Taris on KOTOR. Praying for the day people stop doing business with Aspyr Media; including myself.

An excellent port of an unforgettable game!. I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time... and Aspyr delivered with the hidden ability to install some PC mods as well! This is the FULL GAME, no-holds-barred! The fact that mods, including “The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod”, are able to be installed via iTunes or Mac makes this an easy five star review, as the game wasn’t exactly finished when it came out in 2004 (thanks to the ridiculous 1 year development cycle forced onto Obsidian). This is a must buy for iOS as it runs well (including an option for uncapped frame rates), has good/great touch controls (which the original game practically begged for), and is an unforgettable Star Wars role playing game with tons of replayability.

Still one of my all-time favorites. When I saw that KOTOR 2 had finally been ported to iOS, I bought it right away. I played this game over and over when it first came out in 2004, and no matter how many times I’ve played it, it’s never come out the same way twice. I love KOTOR 2 for the customization of the characters and the fact that the story is about the PC. As much as I love KOTOR 1, it always felt like it was more about your companions than the PC, even with the big twist near the end of the game. I’m already on my second play through since I bought the game. It doesn’t matter that it’s over fifteen years old, it’s still one of the best Star Wars games ever. As for the port itself, the touch controls are really good and easy to use. I end up accidentally talking to my party members a lot, but that’s the only compliant I have about it. Also, the movement speed could be faster. I end up using Force Speed a lot just to get around quickly. All in all, great game; great port. Makes me wish Aspyr could port some other great Star Wars games like Dark Forces and Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. Then the nostalgia would be complete!

So happy. Thank you so much for making this game for iOS next suggestion would be swtor on iOS which will be awesome

One of the best RPG Star Wars game. Never played these games on original consoles, just on iPad and wow, better story than most new Xbox games. Highly recommended to any star wars fan. Plays and looks great. This game is huge for a mobile device store.

Goodest game ever. Besterest game ever

Junk. Rubbish compared to KOTOR Clunky controls and boring

Please add controller support. As above

Great upgraded game but missing Restored Content. Looks fantastic on iPhone 12, amazingly smooth and optimised for IOS like KOTOR1 But the game on pc/Mac has the restored content mod adding so much to the game. This is the base, buy on a different system if you want to play the full game

Add controller support for backbone. Will make the game way more enjoyable if I’m able to use my controller to play this. Touch controls are ok but too many times I tap something accidentally as the game obviously wasn’t originally made for touch controls

Great Game - Stable Port. Overall quite pleased with this mobile port of the game, very stable and plays great. I however find it disappointing there isn’t mfi controller support especially given the first game is.

Good game. Already finish this game and got to level 50 quick. would be more cool if we had the restore content. Overall it was fun.

Please add backbone controller support. Please add backbone controller support like you have on KOTOR

Why is the game tracking our browsing history. I’m sorry but it’s bad enough when free apps do this, but a premium game like this tracking us as well?

Fine, but no controller support? Really?. The game works okay. Load times aren’t super long. The big let down is the forced touch screen interaction. Despite that it asks for Bluetooth permissions, so it can stay connected to controllers, the 8Bitdo gamepad I use for other games on my iPad does nothing in KOTOR 2. I also have a keyboard connected by Bluetooth which does nothing. One would think AT LEAST the PC keyboard control scheme would have been retained. I’d increase it to 4 stars if this were fixed.

Controller support needed. Please put in controller support

Amazing game and better than the original. When I heard this game was coming to iPad, saved up my money and I was not disappointed. Overall I think it’s better than the original game and darker which I love. I can’t believe that a game this good was made in 2004. I don’t mind the graphics, their actually better than expected. If I notice any errors or glitches I will change the review. Also when starting the game Jedi sentinel is the best character

Great Game But…. … the text sometimes skips in cutscenes for no reason. Apart from that and a few other things (which could just be me), this is a great game. Hope to see more of their work on iOS.

Awesome!!!!. The game is amazing on my iPad and really brings back the memories! Also as a note to anyone looking to buy this, you are able to install the extended content mod on iOS for this version through iTunes...totally worth the effort

Hostile tracking and no controller support. I find it appalling that a $22 game includes tracking that is so invasive to user privacy. I expect that from free games or the crappy games that rely on gems and that type of in app purchases, but did not expect it on this one. Shameful. Also, in the FAQ on the website they advertise it has controller support, but this is misleading (if not false advertising). It does not work with MFI controlled. You know, the Made For IPhone controllers. Ridiculous.

I’ve been waiting for this for so long. The nostalgia is real. I loved the original one, so happy that KOTOR II is finally here!

Only let down is no controller support (Razer Kishi). Please consider adding support for iPhone controllers.

It’s ok. I thought when buying this that I was going to be a strong sith lord and have fun dulling but the stupid part when you on the mining ship is to complex and hard to do I think it’s ok though I’ve watched multiple walkthroughs and I can’t get passed it’s and I want a skip for that cuz it don’t matter.

Cannot be played on IPhone.. Extremely disappointed to find this is advertised as being an iPhone game. I was so excited to finally have KOTOR 2 available on iOS. The original KOTOR works excellently on iPhone. When trying to play KOTOR 2, however, it’s pretty clear no one actually tested this out in iPhone. Perhaps it is optimised for iPads. None of the interaction buttons are even available. No menu either. It’s a completely HUD-less screen. The screen looks too zoomed in and no reticles come up. If you’ve played KOTOR you know that interactions are ENTIRELY BASED AROUND RETICLES. NO RETICLES MEANS NO KNOWING WHERE AN INTERACTION WITH THE ENVIRONMENT IS AVAILABLE. Even worse, when you try to leave the medbay - the FIRST ROOM OF THE FIRST LEVEL - you can’t. No actions come up on screen. No actions means nothing can actually ever be done. You can’t bash the door. You can’t leave. You just spent 22 dollars on a game and you can’t do anything but interact with one console and *shudders* Kreia. This is likely an easy fix but.. yikes.. 22 dollars and you didn’t even check if it can be played?

Awesome. So happy to get one my favourite Star Wars Games from the past on iPad. Well worth the money, please bring some more these great old Star Wars Games for iPad like Tie Fighter or Battlefront.

Almost perfect port. Wonderful job! Just finished a 40+ hour playthrough. The only major issues is I had 3-4 straight up crashes, and a bug that came up just a little too often where certain sound effects (melee, running, force powers) would disappear until I restarted the game. Nothing that should prevent a purchase. The only thing that made me a little sad is the loss of the art style and green colour of the dialogue text. Instead, the KOTOR 1 port's blue text font and colour is included. Now when you take an unmodified KOTOR 2 and don't touch the dialogue text and run the game at high resolutions, it appears ridiculously tiny - so I understand why the devs here have overhauled it and used their own system. But there was something lost in the conversion here, and I would love it if they could make it a little more like the original. Thanks for the port. I was finally able to do what I never did when I was a kid - turn every companion into Jedi! P.S. Played with an Xbox controller, which worked wonderfully. This version of the game even recognises when an Xbox controller is plugged in and changes the button prompts to actual Xbox button prompts. Aspyr, please bring the same controller support to your KOTOR 1 port! I wanted to play KOTOR for the first time, but it just didn't have the same level of polish and controller support as this recent release does.

It’s great but. They should have just included the restored content mod but otherwise it’s great and have played 3 play throughs it’s still a great port

Awesome game. Love the game but there one problem when I play it and I can’t play music and play the game at the same time you know so can you try and fix it please and also add more plants to explore and fix the sound cause when I back out of the game to the Home Screen and back to the app I can’t hear them walking or running or shooting but when I restart the game it’s fine that’s all

Star Wars. Please work on controller support for Star Wars kotor 2

Add Controller support. This game for some reason doesn’t support controllers like the razor Kishi like the first game dose idk why

Amazing game.. Had many fond memories playing this game back on the original Xbox

Needs controller support. I love this game with all my heart, just makes absolutely no sense that KOTOR has controller support and KOTOR II does not

Cant Progress. Stuck where Vasquis dies Cutscene that follows crashes my game every time.

Frustrated. I am a huge fan of KOTOR 1 , so I was very excited to see this game finally get released . It’s a fun game but there have been some glitches that have made the game a little frustrating . Including losing almost 5 hours of gameplay . I am hoping that being a new release that these glitches will be taken care of soon .

Glitches. I have faced a bunch of glitches in this game. But I got past a few of them. Now I’m at the end of the secret tomb after I defeated revan. All the doors are still locked because the cut scene with didn’t trigger. And I tried the fight like 5 times. Same thing. I can’t finish the game.

Stuck in black screen bug. I’ve tried to contact support to get help, but no one answers. Game was fun for the first few hours but after a cut scene the game is stuck in black and I can’t do anything. Sucks!

Hot Battery. Cooks battery but fun overall.

Astor I love you. Thank you for porting this game! I’ve been dreaming of being able to play KOTOR 2 when I’m not at home!

Fantastic!. Waiting for so long for the 2nd one!!! Hope it will eventually have controller support like KOTOR 1

J’attendais ce jeu. Enfin ils ont amené ce jeu sur iOS. J’ai adoré le premier KOTOR sur iOS et j’aime bien lui également.

5 more stars on top of my 5 star rating. One of my favourite RPGs that I can never finish

A+. Would love backbone support!

The best game on mobile. This game despite having been released over a decade ago still remains incredible Even in the mobile port it functions just as well as the pc version with less bugs

No MFI Controller support. The game lacks MFI controller support.

Huge glitch. I loved this game when it was out on PS2 and was super excited when it finally came out on iOS. Gameplay for the first little while was excellent until I found a huge glitch that won’t let me progress any farther. The game shuts down every time I try to leave the back half of the Mandalorian camp... very disappointed...

No controller support. Played KOTOR 1 with my controller, disappointed to see the sequel was released without support for controllers :(

Classic. This game is a classic, so happy to see both on the App Store now.

Good game but no MFi controller support. The game is good, but that was a known thing going in, and I’m reviewing the port so the quality of the game it’s self doesn’t really come into play. It plays well for the most part, but the touch controls are kinda annoying. Instead of having a dedicated area you can touch to move forward and back, you need to touch and drag. This alone would not be a bad thing, but since you also have to do the same thing to look, and instead of having a virtual “interact” button, you need to touch things to interact, you often interact with things by accident when trying to move and look and your thumbs get in the way of the screen because you have to drag them quite a ways to move and look properly. Also, the lack of full controller support is unacceptable. Why allow Bluetooth controllers but not MFi controllers which are specifically made for mobile gaming? Yes, KOTOR 2 is a gem of a game, but as much as I want to play it again on the go, the touch controls and lack of controller support make it too much of a chore to be worth putting in the actual effort to play it, which is a really big shame.

Game keeps freezing. Amazing game up until the game continually freezes when returning to dxun at the cutscene where atton walks up to you Playing on iPhone 11

Awesome!!!. Thanks Aspyr! I’ve been wanting this game since KOTOR 1 came out on iOS!!! Very happy it’s finally here and it looks awesome and plays great!

Sound. The game audio cuts out when I start playing and I have to restart the game to hear the audio again. Can you please fix???

I waited sooooo long for this game!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!. Thank you thank you thank you!!! You made my NEW YEAR!!!

Finally it’s brought on mobile. One of my favorite video games ever

No controller support!. KOTOR had controller support this does not, would be an instant 5 but this has left a sour taste in my mouth, ADD CONTROLLER SUPPORT!!!

Great Port. Decent game running very well on my iPhone 8

Small screen. The screen is to small it is almost unplayable I suggest making it smaller I spent twenty dollar’s on this game.

Okay. No Sfx.. For some reason there is no sound effects. No computer sounds, blasters, damage sounds, explosions. Anything that isn’t a cinematic is just the base game music overpowering everything.

No controller support. One of my favourite games from the Xbox era but I hate that I can’t use the backbone with it and I’m not a fan of how you control it with the screen

No Controller support. I realize the game just dropped today but I have KOTOR installed and it works fine with my Razer kishi controller. Kotor2 no support. I love this game and look forward to playing it again but not like this.

Bug. So far this game is one of my all time favourites!!! The only problem is a glitch when talking to the madalorion when leaving the sith temple. After talking to him, the game crashes and won’t let you move past that point. Hopefully this gets fixed soon!

Convenient Fun. One of the best games of all time made better by having it accessible through mobile. A classic I can access in my pocket. Works well on an iPhone 7 so far and the controls are fairly user friendly. I would recommend.

Best Star Wars game ever. Took you guys long enough! I’ve been waiting for this game forever. Man this brings me back to the 2000s. A shame they stopped making sequels...

I’d like the game. When we are done the story Mission we can’t the Explorering world but I can’t so can you guys add an update that when we are done the story message

Worth it. After playing KOTOR I was thrilled to see the sequel. Was a little disappointed in some of the gameplay. Was fun to play a bit more of the game, but seemed a little patched together.

Great game. I have been waiting for the port of the sequel since KotOR 1 was released on IOS seven years ago.

Amazing. Thank you so much for adding the sequel!! So far so good. I enjoyed the first one so much

Epic. I think I enjoyed Revan’s story more, but this is epic too. So much fun, so many hours of entertainment on my iPad! (iPad Pro 10.5” 2014. Pro tip: you may need to limit refresh rate in settings under accessibility, motion to 60hz. Game works great at 120 in one iPad not so great in another. First game locked up at 120 every time)

Thanks for this :). Replayed the first one on mobile a few years ago and I was able to replay this one as well thanks to you guys. I love the controls on mobile, it feels like the game was made for touchscreens. Great job.

Just as AMAZING as I remember it. Keeping it short, this outstanding game has brought back the nostalgia. It is very impressive to see how well such a game has aged, and mechanically it keeps up with AAA games I’d play in the modern days. The one thing that I am most happy about with this mobile port, unlike the first KOTOR on mobile, YOU CAN TWIRL SWORDS AGAIN (kinda) WHILE RUNNING !

Love this game but needs some tweaks.. Obviously this game is amazing. Been waiting a Bart long time for the iOS version to come out. Buuuut two things I’ve noticed right off the bat is one the sensitivity is a little lacking compared to the KOTOR one iOS port. And the subtitles for the alien languages move way to fast. I was about 14 when I first played this game and I never had a problem with it. Im a much better reader now and I can barley keep up with the dialogue. Please fix this! Please 🥺

KOTOR 3 would make this game a 5 star game.. Definitely needs a part 3... so much is left to be desired but I still believe this is the direction that Star Wars games should go in. Years later and I’m still glued to the screen. Thank you for making this mobile and I pray a part 3 is in the making 🙏🏽🙏🏽 Happy gaming and may the force be with you 🙌🏽

Love it. Needs controller support.. I’ve played the original on my PC several years ago and I started playing through this mobile version now. Thoroughly enjoying my time playing it again. However, if there was controller support it would be amazing. As it is, my hands hurt holding this smaller screen for a while. But otherwise, this game is perfect. I 100% recommend.

Plz add this!. I haven’t played it yet, but I was wondering if controller compatibility was going to be added. I was able to connect my ps4 controller to play the first KOTOR and it was a much better experience than using the touch screen. I’m sure it’s a great game and I would love to experience it with a controller.

One of the best games ever made. Played this on PC, and downloaded to replay as it’s been a few years. Still in shock how good the game is. The in-depth story line is insane. Wish they would make this a movie. Easily one of the best games ever made. Hopefully they remake this game in the future for up-to-date graphics, but the gameplay is still fantastic in 2022.

Bought the bundle. A good port, ran into a couple bugs that made me restart the app, and you have to get used to the new movement and item system, but once you do it’s the same game. My only complaint is that you can’t listen to audio from other apps while you play like you can with other mobile games.

KOTOR 2 is best Star Wars game period. I’ve been playing KOTOR on mobile for years and FINALLY we can play on mobile I was introduced to this in the App Store and I have to say this WORTH the 15 dollars. If you love Star Wars can creating your own custom characters and choices you can make with others than buy this game.

Just as Good at the first one. A must have for any star wars fan. Plenty of updates from the first one that make the game operate smoother. The dialogue with your party is much deeper with many more options to unfold not just in your main story but side stories as well. Your decisions in this game have a large role. Plenty of replay opportunities. If you love RPG games and Starwars then this is the perfect match. Great game 5 out of 5 for me.

FINALLY!! And ( running seems alittle slow?). So glad this game was ported over to Mobile! Everything awesome! Except one small thing, when moving/running, the running seems like it’s in slow motion. Idk, maybe it’s just me. I’m KOTOR 1 the running was a bit faster. That’s just me nit picking. The game is great.

Great game but…. Honestly I have loved the kotor series and always enjoy playing it but the game will auto save in the quick save slot when I turn my phone off. Now this isn’t usually a problem but when I turn off my phone after dying I don’t enjoy having to go through 30 min of playing again. Besides this its a great game.

Literally the best Star Wars game ever made. I absolutely can’t describe how much of a masterpiece this game truly is. From it’s deconstruction of the entire Star Wars universe to the amazing characters such as Atton, Kreia, and Visas. If you are a hardcore Star Wars fan then you are seriously doing yourself no service every day you aren’t playing this game.

Love this game!. I love KotOR 2 so much! KotOR 1 is great too but I love being able to train my companions to be Jedi and the stuff that goes along with that. My only humble request would be if the Devs could pretty please update this with The Restored Content Mod if that’s at all possible. I’ve never played the cut content before and I don’t have a PC to play on 😔

Love game. Can we please fix an element of the quick/auto save?. Love this game. However can we fix the automatic quick save when you exit out of the app? There’s been multiple times i die, then just exit the app, then my last saved game becomes me being dead. And I have to restart at the auto save.

Great game, has a few bugs. First off, this is really fun. I’ve enjoyed it a lot. There were a few bugs in some places, but it still works fine. All I can say is, if you fix up the game a little bit, it will be flawless.

Finally !. I have been waiting for this game to be released on iOS! And the wait was well worth it ! It plays just like KOTOR 1 on iOS and is a pleasure to play on the go after all these years! Only things that need to be fixed are the font size needs to be increased and the touch controls need some work. But I’m really happy this has been released! Thanks as Aspyr!

I love this game. I have Been waiting on a mobile platform of this Game to drop for years! Runs smoothly as the first one if not better! They did really well on this definitely recommend and the price is great to me for this game, I’d pay more! Thank you again

Do they Care. First off i wanna shoutout all the og kotor fans who paid they good $15 for this bugged out app. Now to the app i got a chance to finish the game but i completely understand the bug this game brings for i ve dealt with a few but there’s one that brought my campaign to a stop dantoonie is bugged out n i dont think the developers care to fix it or just cant tbh. I got this app when it first came out and since its only been to updates like seriously idk I would recommend this to F&F but the bugs are serious for some so i ll just say beware u might not get to finish the game or do wat i did and start over.

Amazing game!. The controls really aren’t as bad as people say they are, even without controller. Impeccable story, I’d LOVE it if aspyr added in the lost/restored content. For sound issues— my sound is only on if my phone is set to ring instead of vibrate

Fantastic game. I loved kotr and played that on the Nintendo switch. I was upset to find that the sequel is only available via mobile devices. Overall I can tell many enhancements have been made to the game since the first one. The only issue is it’s.. overwhelming and clunky on a mobile device. Movement in particular. I would gladly just play this on a console and l look forward to the thought that it someday will be.

A dream come true. This is my favorite video game of all time. Always has been since it came out. Brilliant story, excellent gameplay, and I honestly think the visuals still hold up today. Aspyr has done an amazing thing putting two of the best games ever made on the App Store.

12 pro max support. This game was clearly not made with the 12 pro max in mind. The corners don't fit the screen and the notch covers a very significant amount of info. I had entire tutorial messages be covered up, and if you flip the screen the notch covers 80% of the party members face covering the blue bar entirely and making character switching kind of a pain... A floating joystick option for movement controls like a traditional smartphone game would also be very appreciated especially for the premium price you pay for this game.

Perfect with tslrcm. Look up how to download the tslrcm mod and you will not put this game down. By far the best Star Wars game imo. Controls take a bit to get used to, maybe using a backbone can help that. Regardless, I’m definitely going to be putting HOURS to this game.

All things considered a great port!. Considering that this is a game that was known to be buggy on its intended platforms (e.g, Xbox) this is a remarkably stable and well designed port for the iPhone. I have been playing using the touch controls and it’s honestly been super easy to pick up (although a controller is recommended) This is a GOAT-level game for me, and a must-buy at this price point.

The game is great but.... The game is fantastic but since it is a port the bugs from the original release are still present specifically the game breaking ones I had to delete and reinstall the game and start over because of the dantooine black screen bug... the game is great I just hope that they fix these issues

Yay!. Finally KOTOR 2! I’ve been waiting for this and it’s finally here! Thank you so much Aspyr! I hope you guys make lots and lots of money :))))) This ports graphics are amazing! So much better than on Mac. I see no issues so far anyways either. Anyways, I feel complete now and am playing right now

Great game, definitely will complete!. The only issue I have is the running speed, it’s a lot slower than it is on pc, the only way my character can run kind of quick is the speed boost. But I have to use that every 2 min. Pleeeeeaaase change the speed, thank you.

Finally!!!. Been hoping to see this on the AppStore for years!!! If that wasn’t enough, you can actually install the content restoration mod through iTunes. This game was famously rushed to market, with a huge chuck of the game coded out, because they didn’t have time to finish it before the holidays. It took years to make the mod that does its best to complete the game, and It took years for the game to make it to my phone. Truly thankful!

Incredible. After months of being told that we were never gonna get this game on mobile phones , I was very pleasantly surprised with this being given to us. I bought it the second I saw it and I’m not disappointed. This game is everything it is on consoles or PCs and the controls are refreshing and new. Thank you for Bringing my favorite game ever toy phone.

Bugs and Deleted content. I’m a little mad that some content was not included like the hk factory. It’s still a good game but I already completed it almost twice and I hate that the creators didn’t warn to get the restored content mod. I don’t want to go and play 40 hours again to go and get to that content and I paid $15, I’m supposed to get the full content, not missing content. If you’re putting a product, you should make sure it’s complete and not rush it.

Controller Support. Honestly this is an underrated Star Wars game and is only just now getting the recognition it deserves. What I don’t understand is why this one doesn’t have full controller support? I know that you can use a Bluetooth controller, but many people use the Backbone, which plugs directly into the phone. KOTOR 1 had support for it, so why not 2?

Finally!. Couldn’t wait to have this game come to IOS so excited to start playing, only thing I’ve seen wrong so far is there are no sound effects when opening doors/containers or when fighting no blaster sound or melee weapon noise, I’m sure it’s just a glitch that’ll get fixed but other than that it’s great!

Deleted. I gave up on this horrible game.. 1) fix the movement which doesn’t allow swiping from side to side while moving. Every FREE rpg on the App Store allows this, while this $15 app does not. 2) give some notice when a hard fight is about to come up. I have had to backtrack to earlier saves way too many times, and have settled into a multi-tier save system with names like “about to die” in order to prevent this badly designed game from springing a deadly fight on me out of the blue. 3) ditch the GM trainwreck of splitting the party or forcing the game to switch over to only one party member suddenly. Similar to point number 2. Simply bad game design. I was enjoying it for a few minutes, and then you just yanked the rug out. I didn’t pay $15 to be slapped in the face like that. Overall, I recommend NOT buying this app. The developers are hacks.

Needs Razer Kishi support. My favorite game of all time! Looks and plays amazingly well on my iPhone 11 and plays with Bluetooth controller great! BUT it doesn’t work at all with the razer kishi controller which is very disappointing since KOTOR 1 works perfectly with it. That gets fixed and it’s a 5 star game for sure. Would give it 10 stars if I could!

Amazing! KOTOR 2 finally on iOS. Great Game! All the people saying no controller support, I don’t know what they are talking about. My DualShock 4 works perfectly fine with this game. Gameplay with the controller is actually good and way better than having to touch or tap on the screen. So far no bugs. The game is truly amazing.

Really Really Good. Important issue; no cloud saves, my iPhone and iPad don’t share same game saves no matter how much troubleshooting I do. This is an excellent way to play KOTOR 2 and certainly the best way to play it in a mobile setting. The touch controls are highly functional. I suspect it’s running 60hz or well above that, it is very smooth with capped or uncapped FPS alike. No hitches or stutters ever. Never crashed or anything like that either.

Vrook glitch.. Ok guys, this is really frustrating. I am 30 hrs deep into the game. I go to free master Vrook and there is a glitch. The force field cage doesn’t open. After doing some online digging, I found out this glitch has been around a long time. In order to free him, it seems I will have to reply the area in order to trigger the scene where he is free. I do not have a save point before this to redo this area. Not even an auto save. There must be a fix. I don’t want to restart the entire game just to try again. Please fix this. Other than this, I love this game and have waited a long time for it to be released on iOS. This is killing me guys. And the game.

Fix the Journal. Great game - loved KOTOR and was waiting for 2... Anyways, recent quests after arriving into Nar Shaddah aren’t appearing in the Journal/quest log.. The sound chimes and the notification to check the journal pops up but the text doesn’t appear for you to get the hint or information on where you stand for the objective.. Specifically in the cantina and pazaak den with the NPC pazaak players. Thanks

LETSSS GOOO. I’ve been waiting for this game for a very long time and it did not disappoint. Darth Traya is the hardest endgame boss I have ever faced in video games. The story is fantastic and the characters are great. The character development is equal orperhaps better than that of the first game with the implementation of influence. A story about two exiles and the fate of the galaxy. Absolutely outstanding.

An actually solid mobile game. Unlike 99% of mobile games, KOTOR 2 is actually good and if you want to play a REAL game on your phone, this is worth the money. Movement options, especially if you want to interrupt mid battle to do an action and run, are less doable than on PC but that doesn’t keep this from being a great game.

Waited years for this. I played this game on my old pc when it first came out, I was about 5 at the time. The pc gave out a while ago and haven’t played this game since, now I’m 20 years old and playing on mobile is the biggest nostalgia trip ever. Favorite Star Wars game ever if not my favorite game ever, not one problem on iPhone 7!!!

The reviews. Some reason people think this game is bad or needs a update I am not writing this for the developer but for the people who wrote this the game is old also it was not made for this type of platform I’m just happy they moved over this game to mobile

Gut Wrenching. This is game is truly gut wrenching, as it has a darker take on the Star Wars universe set way before the movies. The new lightsaber crystal options and better Jedi robes stand out, plus the story is in fact longer than the original. However they are both great in their own right, but all in this is a must play game if you loved the first Installment.

Bug issue!. Whenever I get to a certain part of the story (on danootine) my screen turns black and I’m unable to proceed further into the game! It’s after a cutscene battle, plus I am not able to free the Jedi in the cave on dantooine as well. I’ll click on the Jedi that you are oppose rescue after defeating the enemys near by him and he just sits there not doing anything! I love this game very well just fix the bugs on the wonderful game.

unplayable. This is a fun rpg game I will admit and enjoy playing it but to the ones who put this game on mobile please fix it, I can’t play through the game half way through because I can’t complete dantooine because the master vrook cave cut scene and battle won’t trigger and on onderon can’t get through the rest of the game because it’s not letting me go through the rest of the mission to go back to onderon the second time so please fix it other wise if you can’t fix it I want a refund because we all paid to play this and it’s upsetting that I can’t play the last half of the game and complete it

It’s be awesome if they’re fix the bugs. This game has always had bugs, let that be known. But on the same hand it’s about 15 to 20 years old an you ported it to fit a phone. I’m at the part where you gotta get to the end of geto I think his name is ship an my saved are constantly being overwritten I’ve probably beaten this area at least 4 times before I switched to a new phone an still had the save get messed up after trying it again an having to muck through this super glitchy content. Mind you I’m about 5 hours in.

KotOR II is a timeless classic and worth every penny. As of writing this review, it has been less than a month since this game’s release on iOS, and I have played it through start-to-finish three times, with around 60 hours of gameplay logged. This game is an absolute treasure, and this port of the game works better than it ever did on the Xbox in 2004. Nine million forms of communication would be too few to adequately express how wonderful this game is.

I wish I could give 6 stars. This is the only series of games I have played on mobile that I feel has been worth the price I paid, not only that I feel like it would be worth it if I had to pay 4x as much, I cannot recommend both these games more :)

Need I say anything?. It’s Kotor nuff said. It’s amazing almost twenty ears ago it took a console bigger than a shoe box to run this and now I can play it on my phone. I love it and it runs better than on the original Xbox as too. But please update it so I can play it with my Razer Kishi. Much appreciated!

Game Breaking Bug. Was really enjoying this game, which I never got to play on pc. After 50 hours of gameplay spanning months of real life, Ive hit a game breaking bug right at the final part of the game. When I try to leave my ship on the final planet, it freezes on a black screen and never loads. I am severely disappointed in how much of my time was wasted, and sad I won’t be able to complete it. Hopefully they fix this critical bug in a future update, but if not, beware you may find yourself in the same situation :(
