Minds is a joke!. After a short time of being on Minds, I updated my profile and made a post on my timeline. Within an hour or so I received a message saying I’d been flagged by someone for spamming, so my account was shut down. But I hadn’t run any ads. And couldn’t log on to the platform to even inquire. Tried responding to the email, but that was a dead end. There seem to be no way to contact support or get any help. I’ve been on Facebook for years now without any issues, while I hear stories about others getting their accounts shut down. Minds touts that it is a free speech platform, yet they quickly shut down accounts without investigation or means for correction. They want to compete with Facebook, but whoever is behind it is asleep at the wheel big time. Minds is a joke platform!

It's great in theory. So it's a great platform let me say that out of the gate. The problem lies with the natives, because this is where disenfranchised banned sensored outcast of Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter have landed its populus is mostly Racist outcast feeling stifled because they can't spew carefully designed messages of hate on other platforms. The other very small 10% is people actually interested in security and straightforwardness You need to understand that due the ”Free Speech” nature of the platform the owner will never gentrify the neighborhood.

Not for those who get triggered. I enjoy minds because of it diversity in thought. People on the platform are not pandering to the social media gods they are speaking their ‘minds’ but are also trolling people to get a rise out of them and making offense jokes at times. I’ve seen many about how women can’t drive and I laugh at it and share it. You shouldn’t take everything seriously and especially don’t take anything to heart. Now they’ll probably be racists and sexists people on this app like there is in the world but just ignore them everyone thinks they’re stupid. Just dislike their post and more on. But again this is a great app I wise there was more social media apps like this.

What other platforms used to feel like. I’m new to Minds, but I do really enjoy the feel and concept of the platform. It’s the most free feeling platform I’ve used so far and that’s mainly because they aren’t banning people non stop for seemingly innocuous things. A lot of other platforms have turned into a digital high school, either your in or your out given the days trend or hot take. And if you’re out you’re really out. That’s horrifying, given how much more important and necessary these platforms have become in our world. People keep equating digital platforms to a town squares, I think that’s very accurate. In Minds I don’t worry about what others might think or even more so what the platform itself might think, I’m just myself without worry. All of us SHOULD feel that way inherently but sadly the online world is flooded with people watching every word and self censoring to appease the masses and the platform (consciously or subconsciously). It’s truly not human to act like that. If you want to try a more laid back and honest platform this, so far, seems to be the place.

Love it. So much better than meta and the others. I don’t feel like I’m being watched, tracked or monitored. No aggressive advertisements and Minds actually pays you in crypto to post, which can then be used to promote your posts. Also, no shadow banning for sharing links to other sites or opposing big tech view points. I wish everyone would get onboard. It is we the people who can and will make the site exciting not some invasive algorithm.

It Could Use Some Things. I like the idea of being paid for what you put online, but I’d like to be able to upload more than 4 photos at a time. Also, if this is a Facebook alternative, I would love the ability to have professional/creative/business pages offsetting the personal ones. I’m sure I’ll think of other things, but that’s what’s in my brain.

Please address this issue. Date of writing: 4/4/18 While I love using minds as my preferred social media, there is a problem that the new app has while operating on my IPhone S6 plus. When I open the app, it will go to my subscription feed as it normally does, but after a few seconds of being on, the app “White screens” and nothing is displayed or functions, almost as if it had crashed. I’ve waited for the feed to return to normal, however after 5 minuets of waiting nothing changes for me. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app along with restarting my phone many times but nothing seems to help remedy the problem either. I hope that this is just an incident isolated to me because I would hate for others to have to have a bad user experience. I love using minds, but this is a serious problem with the mobile app that needs to be addressed quickly.

The alternative reality Twitter. Minds is a fresh take on social media. It seeks to meet the general needs of today’s public square while exploring new technologies that can change game in an instant. Even better, it upholds the principles of freedom of speech. There are now many platforms out there but few strive to follow that principle. And if you don’t like it….you can just set up your own Minds instance. 😁

Could sink fb. Impressed with the sleek interface. The concept is great! There are a few kinks to work out which I’ll list below. Overall, If the developers can work out the issues, I believe this app can be a game changer for social media. Issues encountered so far: (mobile version) -The letter i is glitchy for some reason. It wants to type a capitalized i in the middle of words -Autocorrect is non existent so you have to pay close attention to what you are typing -When editing a word too close to the left of the screen, it’s virtually impossible to select in front of it. The work around I use is putting the cursor a letter or 2 to the right and deleting to beginning to get it in the right spot Update: I can’t figure out how to add hashtags past the original posting. This may be some setting but I’m not finding it. Still not giving up on this app :) I love where this app is headed the more I learn it!

Lots of work needed.. The app works great for posting, though rather laggy compared to other social media apps. Interesting “scoring” system with the views you gain, even though it’s nothing more than a “fun” tally system than an actual indicator of views. Biggest problem I ran into so far is the inability to edit your profile. It just keeps trying to pull up the keyboard and then going away. I even have to reload the screen/page just to back out to the news feed.

It doesn't work on my phone anymore :*(. I prefer this "social" media platform over all others that's why the 5 stars stays, but sadly the app no longer works on my iPhone 5. I can access it on the internet on the phone, but the app just opens then shuts down. If you can fix I'd appreciate it. I'll try again in 30 days.

Freedom of Speech at it’s Finest. Definitely the best platform to speak about truth and expose corruption, I personally consider it to be my number one outlet to combat the powers that be. I believe for a fact that we are being censored by the government, and we need to combat this tyranny by all means necessary. I believe this is possible by using minds as one of our major tools.

Great Environment to practice your Freedom of Speech. It’s a little bit of getting used to, but the offer that Minds gives cannot be found on other more popular social networking apps. The idea of decentralized network (yes, it sounds like Pied Piper from “Silicon Valley” TV show) is great and it does seem like this is where the future of social networking starts. I don’t know for how long, but with fewer controls and restrictions on the users, this company has carved the true meaning of freedom of speech. Start trying out this app, and have your voice be heard globally!

Respects your privacy. Minds is way better than other social media options, as long as you select in your settings that you do not want to see things that are “not safe for work.” Otherwise, if you don’t block things that are “nsfw,” you may see some really graphic, or possibly x rated posts. Other than that there’s no censoring, and they also don’t censor truth like the below mentioned social media outlets. They respect your privacy and don’t spy on you, like fakebook and insta, in order to shove advertisements in your face either.

Ahead of it’s time. In 2020 when everyone was pushing to leave big social media and find alternatives I was looking but found that all the other were just either super far right echo chambers or super far left echo chambers. Minds is a place for creators and to reward people for creating and interacting with their audience and other creators. I get most of my audience from minds and they are the most centered and actually tolerant. I recommend this to everyone I meet to help the site grow because I enjoy it that much

Needs work. Hope someone is working. As Twitter and Facebook push people away, Minds is my favorite platform concept. It's clean and smooth and not a ripoff of anything else. Unfortunately it's tough to find things to follow, or that are trending, so you feel kind of isolated until you search out individual people or things to follow. Also this is kinda technical but I like to scroll through my feed by swiping up and stopping with my thumb when something catches my eye. On Facebook, Twitter, and instagram this works perfectly but on Minds it will open whatever I tapped my thumb on. I might be the only one who surfs an app like this but it really throws me off my game.

Minds. I am a new user to minds. Previously all my social media use was instagram which I’d use to follow friends feeds and look at memes. The mind’s algorithm and community has quickly grabbed my attention as a more attractive social network. I hope to post more on this site and see it grow into what I know it can become.

This is where we need to go. We need social media that truly benefits us and allows for true organic growth, fit perfectly alongside paid growth. I’m excited to be on Minds and I can’t wait til it grows to something as big as our current social media platforms. We need to take our content and our privacy back, and if we give it up we need to be paid for it. Thats where the world is headed and Minds is opening the door for us.

At least we don’t get banned. I have been on minds for several years and seen it go through many ups and downs. My biggest personal issue is they made a token but their is no utility outside of boosting post in boosting system that is clunky. But, I have never been banned so that’s why I stay. One of the last few places you can pretty much speak completely freely.

User since minds was in beta,. Love the app, even if I’m not on as much, realistically not an app guy, but this one I like, it’s a more intuitive and community based approach to worldly interests, and definitely not the same attention-span reduction you’ll find with twitter Facebook and the like. THEY arent in control here YET and beautiful interface. Gorgeous and useful app. I have no idea who ultimately controls this platform but I’m sure Apple will ban them or google once enough non (THEY) people are allowed to share there opinions. Obviously there’s a war of information and Apple is not on the team of sharing information freely so I expect this app to be short lived sadly. But their web app is tremendous either way. A true TWITTER KILLER

So far so good. Minds is an innovative social media platform that offers a refreshing alternative to traditional social media networks. As a user of Minds, I am thoroughly impressed by its unique approach to user privacy, open-source architecture, and its commitment to free speech. Still some work to do. I love minds so far but the live streaming needs a lot of work. I understand that it’s a third party partnership but it’s basically un usable right now. I will have to try it out here and there to see how it has improved. Keep up the good work doing social media the way it should be done💯🕺🏻

Free expression is everything.. By nature all creation has it’s way of communication, if humans are deprive of it there is nothing left, but to obey the masters who stole that right to free speech. Minds does not have commercials to push to the audience, in other words it does not respond to Corporations’ agendas. I think minds will grow as big as twitter and facebook, provided censorship and shadow banning does not become part of their agenda to muzzle the truth. Although Twitter and Facebook will be dismantle due to interference in our elections. Trump’s social media is pretty much an eco chamber, with a lot of commercials.

Minds Is Awesome. Minds is a worldwide community of all sorts of people. Free speech is protected on Minds. Productive conversation is encouraged. I have met and enjoyed many good people and great minds there. Let's hope that this platform never becomes compromised like so many others. You are welcome; come and join. Minds is Awesome. Good platform, average app.. Needs a lot of work. Specifically making the subscribe button bigger and easier to find/activate. It takes five minutes for it to work and actually register you hitting it. Loading times are slower than usual. The notifications you get are all lumped together and hard to distinguish. If you get 30 you have to look through them all one by one just to see if someone replied to you or liked the comment. There should be some colors or another way to distinguish points gained from replies, likes, etc.

Needs a lot of work but real potential to unseat Twitter. Minds is social media platform without draconian or unevenly applied censoring. It combines features from Twitter, FB & Instagram but is mostly geared to appeal to Twitter users. Unlike twitter, you can edit posts & there is no character limit, at least not a limit I’ve found yet. The app isn’t as reliable as the web portal however. Interface is very clunky & things often don’t work as they should. But If they can sort out issues with pics/gifs not posting & videos not playing (this happens on the website too), and improve the UI, Twitter will have serious competition.

Stupid Apple Company...... The app works well, no complaints on its features, except for the part where Apple decided to be a hypocrite and FORBID ITS USERS FROM SEEING NSFW POSTS ON THIS APP!!! I could see the exact same content if it were on the Twitter app! Same applies for the Discord app! What gives, Apple Co?!? If it weren’t for that infuriating feature that shouldn’t exist (I understand it isn’t your fault, Minds.), I’d rate this app higher. For that matter, this app having such amazing things going for it, notwithstanding the stupid and hypocritical nsfw blocking feature, is why I give this app its current rating and not any lower.

I wish it was functional. I was excited to try this app and support what they were made for but I was very disappointed in what I found. Had to manually scroll back 26 years to set my birthday. Couldn’t set a profile banner. Subscribe buttons barely work and when I went to make my first comment there was an error. Then I went to find some form of in app support and tried to reach out on the platform and error. Could be a good app and a better tool to help people share their minds and get a better understanding of others but instead it’s more of a pretty non functional app. Very frustrating I hope you guys fix it up soon so I can try again maybe a littler further down the road.

Great app - real free speech. When you try using Minds, you will quickly notice it is nothing like the big tech censorship platforms that monitor and control what you are “allowed” to say or think. It also has an interesting way of rewarding interaction / participation and the developers are frequently improving various features to either the app or website version of this platform. Definitely check it out and make use of it.

Well I tried. I seen this for sell on EBay which is a interesting concept and I tried to sign up but it refused all of my wanted usernames but I will keep trying . I wanted to try because I wanted to buy the model as I have a specific reason to match to something that I think would be awesome. I am not a fan of Social Media but this could be a very interesting and profitable side too it . The person who does this is very polish designer in a lot of other websites that are very well done . I haven’t had the chance to meet the person yet because he is so busy and I hopeful this could be exactly what I needed!

Great sight for free speech.. I join Minds to get away form Facebook and Instagram. I wanted to feel lot my voice mattered too. Minds allows for that. I will say that the app itself does glitch from time to time hence the 4 stars. Still, I think it is good. I love the fact that you can earn from your content. I don’t particularly work on that but it is available for those that do.

Great app!. I would give three stars to getting started, but five stars to the app as a whole. It’s very confusing when you just hop on with zero experience and the (how to use minds) links don’t work. There’s some disconnect between the link and the website. But once you learn it’s as easy as riding a bike. Just make sure you understand that there’s fake money you can spend and real money you can spend, so don’t give your kids the app to play with.

Minds: So far so good. Just downloaded and started navigating and using the platform. I do like the security here, and have long had enough of the obscene and rapacious use of our data by Z and FB. Already I like the content I’ve been seeing here. I was referred to Minds while watching Act Out on Free Speech TV by Eleanor Goldfield. It’s early yet for me, but so far, so good...

Great concept, needs more work.. All around useful app. Search function needs more refinement across all main tabs to make it easier to find other users and pages by name rather than handle. The subscribe button could be more prominent as well. The app itself is a little sluggish so I’ve opted to use the iOS mobile website which overall is a much better UX/UI.

Good stuff. I had given up on social media the past few years. Minds has brought me back into the space. While I’m still not in the habit of checking the app regularly, when I do I haven’t come away feeling like I wasted time… or worse. Thanks

Love the concept, app almost unusable. The app now does a flashing change of posts on the home newsfeed page when I open it (desktop version too). So annoying. Also, my feed is so busy and I have no way of muting certain users without unfollowing or blocking them. I cannot prioritize certain creators either. It’s so much overload that it’s practically unusable. I hope they end up fixing this (on many levels) as I adore the underlying concept. It has a lot going for it and an upscale user base (much less troll like behavior compared to a Twitter or Gab). I will keep checking back until this turns the corner. I’m a believer in this concept and it has some great bones. Edit: finally had to delete the app. I can no longer post anything (just get a refresh circle continually). Went to help page to comment on someone else’s post but it said my post had an error and could not be posted . The app itself is almost unusable. You can’t see replies. Still no mute. Repeated posts. No way to prioritize. Desktop is definitely better but im usually on my phone. You’re killing a great idea. I’m now looking for a better free speech alternative. Too bad because the community is great. But the app looks like it was made by my high schooler.

It’s Great. Good luck trying to buy these tokens. The default token allowance for a boost is 5 tokens (on a slider), and it’s tough to navigate using an iPhone. Other than that, it is an uncensored social media platform where you won’t get axed for saying that a global cabal is actively trying to depopulate everyone 😀

Pretty good so far. Try it out. Day 1 and pretty interesting. Looks like people are tired of being shutdown on other social media platforms and are moving in. It’s ridiculous how far social media goes to shut down some interesting stories that come out because they involve Joe Biden and his son’s corruption. I think the general public should be free to talk about it and everyone should know the truth.

The new decentralized “Facebook”. Minds is going to be continue to be a game changer as it grows. Decentralized ‘DAPPS’ that embody the best of social networks, without all the bad elements Facebook has now shown to the public to be true. The Ottman founding family are fully committed & true advocates for the people. I love their approach and know they will continue to innovate their network.

Awesome app better than Facebook. Um sorry but if you're looking for a social media community that's full of free speech and that pays you to use it, then this is the app! You earn crypto tokens that can be exchanged for cash. I have earned some and this is legit! Too bad Facebook or Twitter doesn't pay you.

Discussions = Progress. “Popular platforms” are just that…popular, no intelligent life to be found. That’s the end result and unfair to say but I don’t even see my best friends posts anymore. Just things that I’ll have an opinion on, something has happened there, where curators decide what you see. Interactions are now more important than relationships. Interact…mostly on things that upset you. Easy interaction is a win. It’s garbage, algorithm’s designed to dismiss things or friends you love because interaction w those posts is simple and happy, quick. “A fight and controversy gets 4% more interaction, pump that! = money. I hope everyone realizes there’s more and an uncurated platform is the future. Honest conversation/discussion and a platform that rewards friendships is available…it’s this platform.

Minds. I have just started using Minds a few months ago. I’m new there so have to still find my group of Patriots. But it’s easy to post. Easy to read the news feed. They don’t censor so you can post things that some other platforms censor you for, which is great. Everyone deserves to know the Truth. Important information is usually what they censor, as it conflicts with their agendas. When you want to learn what’s really going on, you need to go where information is shared freely. It’s your choose to decide after you know all the facts, what you’ll do with it. I ❤️ Free Speech & Minds is the place to be. Your voice matters there. Download it & give it a try. You won’t be sorry. I just wish they’d show me more patriot type people. I kinda find some but I’m sure good posts could benefit all if we saw other things that interested me. The news feed seems limited to who you follow, when you new you don’t have many to follow. I’d like to see more like- minded people’s posts. I don’t see many of those. I have been gone as I was unable to open the app. So now I'm still new but they appear to be censor free. I recommend Minds on Twitter last night. Magically I got on today with ease. Thank you.

Social Media Thinking Out Of the Box!. This is a great app that allows an option for anyone to earn as a creator right out of the gate. Their terms and conditions are modeled after the First Amendment and decisions about accounts are made using a jury rather than some politically motivated bigot sitting behind a desk at some major tech company. 5 stars

Amazing website, under attack by quadrapolies. Perfect place which brings back nostalgic feelings of old school social media, where people can talk freely (given a few rules), minds can debate each other, you can think for yourself, many posts from artists, photographers and funny memes. Super friendly and mature people. Everyone gets along well even with opposing ideas. However, google and apple, facebook and twitters henchmen have caused so much trouble with the creators of minds forcing them to remove commenting, groups, and many features from the app to discourage new members. Access via browser for better experience and please support this amazing platform against these big tech bullies.

Been here since BETA mode.. I was all aboard 100%, since the beginning. But now years later, after much hope, all seems lost. They seem to have lost sight of original intent and tried being all things at once which has led to many glitches in feeds. Now they’re selling out with MINDS+. You can hardly surf feeds or read articles without the MINDS+ “pop ups” hijacking your device. I have resorted to BLOCKING ALL MINDS+ USERS and will delete this app soon. I wouldn’t bother unless you want to throw money away....

Need to make a way to add friends and make interface easier to use. Many complain about the learning curve and it is steep but if you take the time to learn it it does work nicely. Developer please improve on the interface especially iOS version because it needs user friendly cleanups and maybe a install how to use guide that one can skip if they want. Just something that explains how minds works especially since many use Facebook or twitter.

One of my favorite platforms. I was looking for an alternative to Facebook, and I found it in Minds. It took a few months to start building up a follower base, but by consistently posting, I started seeing my followers increase. I like that, as an author and writer, I can build a community on Minds that dovetails nicely into my Substack and Locals platforms. I love this platform!

It’s better than I thought. Got minds because of Joe Rogan. Just wanted to check it out. It feels way better than any other social media app. In my opinion, you might not agree but you should check it out. Worst case you delete it…

Great alternative to traditional social media. Great interface, very responsive, excellent respond time from support and transparent policies. Interaction with other users is really convenient and smooth. Get in early so you can passive aggressively shame new users in the future for not joining sooner.

Needs a lot of work. Still in its infancy, this app needs a lot of work, it has quite a few bugs - videos don't play properly, only sound, swiping can hang things up on screen, the directory is clunky and won't scroll etc etc. Excited about the possibilities but it is far from ready, more like a beta.

The social media platform you dreamt of. You own your own information, the developers genuinely believe in free speech, you can earn from content, the people are awesome … it’s incredible! I thought social media was a cancer before I found Minds. Now I love it again. It’s got me laughing all the time and actually learning things from the wisdom in the community. Do yourself a favour and tell the Matrix (Facebook/Insta/Twitter) to kindly go and eff itself.

That was weird .... I just tried to set myself up this morning. Functionality was appalling. When creating my bio, the text block went behind the keyboard and I couldn’t scroll to get it back up where I could see it. It also meant the save button was hidden, so I couldn’t complete the bio anyway. In the frustration, I ended up somehow going back a step and losing everything I had typed. Then I tried to establish uniqueness through my mobile phone number. There was an American flag icon with no obvious way of trying to select an Australia flag. If I typed any number or the plus symbol the keyboard would vanish. So I gave up on that and decided to just delete my account, as this whole experience didn’t bode well for using the app going forward. When I eventually found the delete option, the submit or confirm button was blank and, again, I couldn’t quite see the screen properly. I tapped where I thought the button should be and it seemed to work. I won’t be coming back. What a shame. You sounded interesting.

Good but needs to reach more people. Reminds me of the old instagram when instagram was still not owed by Meta and not consumed by greed and narcissism

Hopeless if you want to watch videos. The app fails to use full-screen on iPhone. It’s just a small screen. Can’t rotate. Can’t enlarge. Next to useless unless you’re just using it to chat & browse.

Can't log in for some reason. I've logged into the site using safari but cannot log into the app for some unknown reason. Putting in everything correctly but keeps say "can't log you in. Check your credentials"

Need more updates. Every time editing text and it automatically change from low case to cap lock. Most subscriber won’t see ur content unless you use token to boost.

Definitely keep your eye on this. Still very much in the early stages but it's a great concept will definitely keep my one it this one.with future updates and with more people adopting this app of happily use it over Facebook

Was good until update 6 days ago. Running fine (not perfect, there are plenty of room for improvement) until recent update now unable to see explicit photos on iPhone Minds app.

Can’t verify Australian mobile number. Unable to verify Australian phone number to verify uniqueness and start earning?? Default setting accepts US phone numbers and that’s it? Ok

Minds is decent, I guess. People are more based here and the memes are spicier. Lots of scammers but they’re easy to spot

Minds lockout.. HELP!. I’ve just updated Minds.. I was automatically logged out.. Now I’m frozen out of my account. I’m being told my username/password are incorrect, even though I have them written down in front of me. I can’t access the Helpline, because I can’t log in.... How can I fix this? It’s extremely frustrating.

Won't Open. App won't open on my 4S. The mobile website is great though so I just use Minds via a web browser.

Fantastic this is for the people who actually want privacy!. This is way better then Facebook I hope it wipes it out this is secure I don't have to worry about spies and I feel safer surfing on it. It's a must have!

Better than mainstream social media.. More innovative than major social media platforms.

Looks promising. Basic functionality works fine a few bugs here and there. Still in its early stages. An exciting prospect.

Cant even make an account. Don’t want to use Twitter or Facebook cause they can’t even let me post about how all child molesters need to be killed, can’t use this rubbish app cause they say my password is incorrect when I’m trying to make an account. Don’t bother downloading it. Cant even make a real username

Won’t allow me to verify phone number. Won’t allow me to verify phone number, click the box and nothing happens. Start typing and nothing happens. Also nearly fell over when I seen membership price. Making me second guess whether this platform is right for me…

Great so far but a few annoying bugs. The platform is great and I'm really enjoying exploring the content. Although, the app has some issues. Images take a bit long to open even if they are preloaded, sometimes animations like scrolling are delayed and the audio from videos don't play at all.

Minds is free speech. The level of decentralisation on minds is unparalleled

Buggy. Was working well, about 3 weeks ago the app started logging me out several times a day. Contacted support a couple of time with not response. Deleted the app.

A friendly, Social Media Platform. I just like it, find it easy to use, more than most alternatives.

NEEDS IPHONE X DESIGN UPDATE. The bottom nav doesn’t follow apples guidelines for sufficient space on an iPhone X/XS which makes it really hard to use. Many of the UI elements or their touch targets are too small. Please review this with guidelines in mind - they’re there for a valid reason.

Failed uploads. Never able to upload images. It always says “failed to upload”. Impossible to get help from anywhere. There’s no FAQ page. It needs a large amount of improvement.

Needed this. Such a promising idea. We so need an alternative to the all seeing, recording and reporting FB. Ok a few teething probs and will take getting used to but well worth it in the end I think. I'll give it a good go.

It’s the gear. I haven’t been part of social media (i.e. Facebook et. al.) for over a decade, but I listened to 40mins of Bill talking with Rogan and I knew instantly that I wanted to be a part of this. App crashing. App crashes every time you happen to click on a post, actually right after you exit the post, screen goes blank.

Good social media tad buggy. Great community of freedom and mostly common sense. App can be a bit buggy and has trouble loading at times especially with VPNs on.

Feedback. Every theme this app is up dated I can’t share anything to it from news platforms or other Social Media Platforms

App has too many glitches. First few months of use, there was only a couple “in app” glitches specific to video playback and being directed out of the app when searching for channels or groups. Most recently the app is completely nonfunctional. It opens to a black screen and remains black. Not sure why the app is not responding at all. Since last week the app has been completely useless. It will not open or it’ll open to a black screen. Very disappointing. Might be time to delete the account. Too bad because it’s been an enjoyable platform.

Amazing idea. Awful execution.. Minds is the best social network in the world if you are already a conspiracy theorist. I love the idea of this website, and I really enjoyed it for a while. However, the Boosted feature is just overwhelming and it’s exclusively used by conspiracy theorists. Nobody cool ever Boosts their posts. There are lots of awesome artists and funny people on Minds, but they don’t pay to strong arm their way onto your feed. I started counting. For every two or three posts by someone I knew, it was another Conspiracy Kook who boosted their post shouting “SPREAD THIS EVERYWHERE!” Minds is a damned cool site, but you’d better already be a conspiracy theorist, because conspiracies are going to be about 50% of your feed now. Blocking users makes no change. They paid the site, so you have to see their posts.

The Greatest thing since the early years of the internet.. I personally just love Minds. I only wish I could get more people to migrate from using other lesser and immoral social networks so that we could all speak freely and be paid for our contributions. Keep it up Ottman and Crossland and anyone else involved. We need more “Minds” that are functional.

Icon. Cant get the whole of minds! I cant post on minds. Keeps trying to get me to sign in with FB which I do Not want. And even after deleting and re installing, I still cant post on minds.

Uncensored social media app. Filled with memes and interesting posts

I’ve made money, friends, and feel like a pioneer.. It’s definitely not a developed as other social media apps that have billions of users (yet), but it works great and is still in development. I’ve already earned $130 by just posting, liking and commenting. Ignore the complaints about conspiracy theorist. Those complaining are the typical cliche complainers who think anything outside of their purview is a conspiracy worth censoring. Minds is awesome!

A few thoughts. For starters a little glitchy , I do like the fact it's supposedly private . But it will turn out like the other platforms that's just the way social media works it becomes about ones self seeking attention in the end . Maybe it's just me but I'm just not a social networker I was just curious to try it .

Confusing. Way too confusing, and now I can’t figure out how to close my account. When I follow directions it says to do from desktop or something like that. Huh??

Mhhhmm... not family-friendly. I used to want freedom of speech so much, until I downloaded this app. Hot feed is stacked of racist posts. Too many criminals on the app. Although if you’re a redneck, this app is definitely for you, meanwhile I’ll stay off social medias.

Good platform, bad app.. I cannot use search function. It says “Can’t be shown on apps installed via the store”. I wasn’t able to write comments with the same warning a couple days ago. Platform is good, I want to immigrate there fully but application should work completely as well. Please fix this issue.

Great app and I love the banner functionality. I hope everyone decides to make the shift and starts using an option that is more in line with many of our beliefs on security and privacy.

Superb idea but!. This is a wonderful idea and I can see that it's got some serious potential to grow, but it needs it's own feel! Ditch the *thumbs up* likes and "statuses". If it's called MINDS, it should consist of lightbulbs for "likes", and "thoughts" instead of "statuses"! MINDS needs to be MINDS, not facebook 2.0, which is quite mind numbing...

Broken. The app doesn’t work. It crashes often and when you click “Find Channels” it opens a blank white screen. The only way out is to hard close the app and reopen it. Though, I’m not sure why you would since you can’t do anything in the app anyway

Refreshing. UI needs some work. Have not tried the desktop version but it so much less toxic than twitter which is awesome.

Lacks accessibility for visually impaired users. In the settings, there should be something that will increase the font size.

Potentially better than FB and Instagram. I just started this app @adamziorio “Spirit Healer” photographer. I wanted to find a social media platform which doesn’t hide any information at all, we should all be able to share info no matter what it is! I’m going to make a go of it here and so far I really like the set up and how it works. There are definite flaws, but over time it will get better. I see this being the better social media platform. 💪🏽

Great concept, UI needs rebuild. I love the concept of Minds and the promotional efforts made with Joe Rogan podcast but the UI and the colours in general need to be reworked, just looks kind of outdated compared to the newer things we are seeing with Threads and other apps.

On iPhone app crashes. On my iPhone the app crashes right away. Haven’t even been able to try it.Trying on my iPad. Hope it works, sounds like a cool idea. Am wanting to give it a try.

Music stops every time you open the app. The title says it all. Music play back keeps stopping. If you minimize your app and return to it music stops.

First day using it and I like it thus far. Although if Minds like most of the other social media platforms gets ridiculous I’ll change my rating.

Good platform, but app has problem.. When I open my app it will just white screen and the nothing will work at all. It didn’t do this before, but every time I have opened the app now, it will show the feed for like one second and then everything is just a white screen. Please fix this problem, this completely breaks the app.

Free speech alive and well!!. I can’t say enough about how grateful I am for Minds. Im a nobody Crude Truck Driver so my opinion is worth nothing, but I still have opinions and I want to share them. Great Platform. Other than having to add name and password separately it’s easy to use. The regular contributors as well as occasional users seem to be more informed than other platforms I use.

This service allows for the promotion of violence.. I joined Minds in 2018. It’s a fantastic concept which just needed time to grow in popularity and users. Unfortunately, Minds now harbors hate, conspiracies, and violent threats in the wake of Parker being shut down. I have reported actual death threats found on this platform in the ‘explorer’ tab. They have since removed the ability to explore. Now the violent threats are hidden from general view. There’s a thread right now that says, “I want to kill somebody”. When I go to comment or report this item there’s a notification that says, “can’t be shown on apps installed via the store.” Hopefully Minds will get the attention of Apple, if not the FBI, and get shut down.

My only social network!. Minds gives me a little of everything...news, politics, humor and a refreshing no ad newsfeed. Plus I earn tokens for my engagement which I can use to either tip other channels or boost my own content.

They have not banned me yet, which shows their support for freedom. I’m a Targeted Individual, one of the most tortured. My messages are like screaming in horror. Other platforms have banned me or censored me. Even Mastodon.

Live option?. Just started using this past week and working fine. Still learning my way around but easy enough to find content to follow and upload my own pictures and videos. Any chance a live feature is coming soon?

Functional. Works rather well. Snappy. Intuitive. I recommend for those looking for well thought out social platform. It will only get better.

Love this app!. Minds is far superior to Twitter and other similar social media platforms. I love that I can post such lengthy videos and lengthy dialogue without being limited, which I find so stupid. Lol.

The best there is, better all the time.. I started when it started. It’s grown in time. I feel it the best option for getting real information and commentary. They improve it as they go. Highest recommendation by far.

Enjoying It. The app is runs well though it crashes sometimes. The content gets me out of my echo chamber. I'm enjoying the variety of posts on my feed. The points system is a fun side game though, so far, I've not found content I want to boost using the points.

Awesome App. I think this is a great project and the App runs well. There are still issues with the UX for the “Set up channel” and “Verify uniqueness” screens. All elements are clumped up at the top of the screens and can’t input any info. (Using iPhone 11)

SOSG podcast. Minds has been a great outlet for my son and I with our podcast. This platform has grown our maturity and has disciplined our Minds to create better and more diligent with our content.

Was a solid 3.5 till update. I just updated minds because I couldn’t get a keyboard to come up. After the update install the app won’t open at last. And I don’t know if I can roll back on iOS. Problem solved solid4 star app Manet better once I’m more use to it

Doesn’t always play well with iPhone X. Some buttons are at the very edges and difficult or impossible to push. (I was not able to click ‘done’ at all after inputing a password for the message feature). They need to get on the ball, all iPhones will have similar screens going forward.

App UI needs work. Great idea and platform here but the app is really hard to use. I get stuck on views when the top page controls are under the default iOS clock and will not respond. It’s frustrating. I have not seen a real design fix in a while. I hope it improves cause I want to keep using minds.

Great Concept, Needs Work. It's a new app so I gave it some forgiveness. The concept is great, being able to voice your ideas and not be bashed down immediately by uneducated adults and teens unwilling to have another point of view. Lots of glitches with profile editing and posting. If these get fixed it will be a groundbreaking app.

Get the error noise nonstop when I use on iPhone. For some reason, every time I use Minds, my iPhone makes that “bump” noise constantly like I scrolled too far. Sometimes I get two alternating pitches but it’s non stop and makes the app unusable. Maybe Apple is targeting them. Wouldn’t surprise me. But if it’s a bug, it needs to be squashed.

Best social media platform. Hands down, if you like being able to speak your mind, this is the best place to be! And I’ve met many wonderful minds out there!

Great alternative to Facebook!. I closed out my Facebook due to their shady practices. I’m primarily using minds now as they are by the people and for the people. If you don’t want your privacy invaded or song want to deal with bias censorship minds is a good choice!

Minds App is Censored on iOS. I’ve chosen to use the browser only for access to Minds on my new iPhone because of the built-in censoring of search results and posts. I’m fully capable of deciding what I wish to see and do not want Apple/Minds teaming up to filter what I’m allowed to see. Originally I did install this Minds App, but the censorship was immediately apparent and I uninstalled.

Different place to be. I’m on dozens of different social media platforms. Minds certainly has the most interesting conversations. There is a lot less sh—posting.

Experience with Minds. I like it’s privacy capabilities. They have a great following. I’m still trying to use it in the best way but when I use it it just populates posts from a limited group and would like a way to see more that I don’t have to search for.

App Has Tech Issues. I have an iPhone XR and when I’m in the app and go to a blog or group, I cannot exit the group without closing the app and reopening. The “back”button has no response when I try and tap it. The menu buttons are also way too high on the top of my screen and make it difficult to navigate.

Apple needs to stop. The app was awesome until Apple decided they were going to strong arm this freedom of speech discourse platform just like all the others. Now Apple won’t let us comment on other people’s posts. I will totally give up my IOS if they keep this control freak attitude up.

Bad poster for a new social media. Minds is interesting community and have lots of potential, but this app only give a bad rap for minds, is full of bugs (images, search and text don’t work well) and is interface is confuse and bloated, is the complete opposite for the web version, what does make sense... ...and weeks after things get worse, the app freezes, open images shutting down the app, my feed is overwhelming by people I don’t know

The best alternative social network. Minds is a really great app. There is so much diversity in thought, but everyone agrees on the foundational belief of allowing people to have those thoughts and share them. This is how social media should be — Minds fights for your freedom.

Bill is a pioneer. Ottman basically seen the future. He knew ToS of crappy social media sites like Twitter and Facebook and quite possibly even knew they were connected to government. Free Speech on the internet is the only way forward, regardless of nation. Minds is definitely ahead of the game

This may be the one. Minds has TONS of potential. All the right ideas are there. If they can make the App more like the web interface and make it a little easier to discover content it’ll be the gold standard.

Responsive beyond belief. I submitted a bug report Monday, and on Tuesday they had a new “fixed” app in the Apple store ready to download. I’ve never seen that level of support for any other app I have. These guys are beyond awesome. Plus the whole community is much more cerebral than the big social media site.

Under Appreciated Social Media Playform. I’m happy to find several respected individuals to connect with on this platform. Having a reward program for creating content makes this a better choice to engage our energy.

My experience. On Minds , I first came to it at least a few years back. I enjoy it ,though I am not as good at posting or other info submitted, it is easy even for a guy like me . Keep it Going.

Where free speech doesn’t seem to be an issue.. I’ve been on MINDS for a few years now. Freedom of speech reigns on all sides of all issues. You don’t follow what you don’t want to see, and it’s an easy to use media app and looks really good. Give it a whirl.

Great platform and foundational approach. Better than you’d expect. Great alternative to places like FB, Twitter, and Instagram. Not one sided, a lot more balanced than those previous platforms mentioned. Also, not selling my information to the highest bidder.

Great concept and website, janky app. I’m all for this site as a concept, and the web version is super clean from what I’ve seen. But they really need to polish up the app as soon as humanly possible if they want to succeed as a social site, I think, since people seem mostly to use social media on their phones. Keep at it guys, looking forward to seeing where this goes!

The best free speech platform. Minds is hands down the best free speech platform, with the best community of folks and frens, I’ve used. I’ve had Fakebook, X (Twitter), MeWe, Gab, Truth Social, Parler, and Mastadon… nothing, in my opinion, beats Minds. Give it a try! What have you got to lose?

Honestly it’s solid.. For a new startup. I’m impressed. Even if it wasn’t a new startup app. I would still be impressed. Absolutely worth checking out. I’ll be hanging around to watch it grow and mold into a better and better app as time goes on. No negatives to say.

It’s nice. There’s people without a filter, but what do you expect when companies that think they’re god suppress any speech other than the positive comments of how they run things? You gotta let the evil out somewhere and at least it’s not the streets, ya know.
