I know half of the things this app is teaching me, it's just that it is placing teaching me stuff I already know because when I try to boost up my piano skills, it cannot understand half the keys I play, on any type of volume. Please fix this. It is a waste of my time and money.
They offered 1 month free trial through the app, and then they charge you at 13 days (not even two weeks). They charge for the whole YEAR, can't buy month by month. I'm angry at this.
I’ve had the app for a week now and have been playing every day. Great so far. Lessons are easy to follow and I feel like I’m progressing.
Apart from the scale and chord trainers, this app is useless for learning guitar and especially for songs. I tried learning running with the devil through this, and all I got were a bunch of funny chords played as full notes to backup the lead. I don't know how it got such good reviews😌
This is probably a hardware issue, but it seriously has trouble registering any notes from my E string, which is a massive problem when most of the early exercises use an open E a lot. Maybe the notes are just too low for the microphone to handle well? I don't know what the app is like for other instruments, but if you're learning bass, this might not be very useful.
I’ve recently started playing the ukulele but I downloaded Yousician a while ago. I do like the free daily lessons and I’m sure once I improve, I’ll probably buy the subscription. But I’m happy with the app so far.
I’m cool with paying for an app, but taking out the payment for the year instead of installments is ridiculous. God forbid anyone forgets to cancel trial....then of course you have no way of getting a refund.....dirty
I really loved Yousician because I used to be terrible at ukulele (my favorite instrument) but then I saw yousician and learned to play it really easy I’m honestly grateful for Yousician
I tried the two weeks of Ukulele for free. About a week in I started getting frustrated with the app/games/music. I would get frustrated because I couldn’t perfect a song, anxiety would build up as I would near the end because I so wanted to do well and then I would mess up or the app wouldn’t register a note. This is supposed to be fun, not anxiety inducing. Some pieces are very difficult and take a lot of time to master and then they give you something totally easy that should have come first. Also they teach one thing at the start and then change the technique rather than teaching you correctly to begin with. It then makes you warm up with the incorrect beginner pieces. I had perfected When the Saints Go Marching In, no problem on the GAME, but then took this to real life and it doesn’t transfer. I feel you depend too much on the visual game to tell you what to do rather than actually learning what to do. So by day 10 of my trial I was over Yousician and headed to the many fabulous teachers on YouTube that all cost way less than $100+ in one shot. Between a decent Uke for beginners book and YouTube I’m making real life progress. $100 a year is too much for a game, it should be purchasable for less than $50. Buy yourself a nice new uke or save your hard earned cash.
Love love love. At the mo the free 10 is all I need, as soon as I have more time to commit I’m all in buying the year subscription. My playing has improved 100 fold!
The greatest app I have had so far on teaching how to play an instrument. It has helped me a lot.🎸
I have learnt so much
Intuitive, responsive, practical and fun. Its my first month and loving it. Thanks.
I really like this app. The one thing I would change is the ‘warm ups’ which are insanely basic. Other than that, the app has progressed me faster toward playing chords than I ever thought possible. Looking forward to my continued improvement thanks to Yousician.
I've never been more motivated in my life to play my guitar, so perfectly made to suit everyone and constantly challenging. Being able to notice your skills constantly progressing is the most satisfying reason to keep playing . Absolutely brilliant concept and just as brilliantly executed in its making . Well done Yousician and thankyou!
Learning for the first time aged over 50. I’m finding this a great starting point, but wish the free lessons could go a little longer, seeing as I’m not in a position to buy the longer versions 😔 But a great app to start off in the right direction 😊
Yousician is really helpful
It is the best I used to not know how to play I am the best it is so fu N!!!!!'!!!!!!!!!!
I think this app is great but could you please let us compose songs on piano

Continuing my Musical Education!
I've slowly been learning Guitar!
People say this app is fun. Maybe at first. But then it says it will stop the music if you miss a note and it doesn’t later. And when it doesn’t stop because it’s going too fast, it says there is probably a problem with your guitar. NO! There is a problem with this stupid app.
It awesome, I love this app, I just wish there were different levels of charges.
My main issue with Yousician is tuning, the tuning is horrible and it’s not me, I have fully in tune piano and it still says it’s out of tune. Skills, Yousician can you please stop trying to teach my rhythms and beats that I ALREADY KNOW, it’s a waste of time and there should be an option to take that off.
Great way to begin to learn to practice guitar. The drills in the workout section are also worthwhile.
perfect for beginners
this app is verry good!
Honestly I was expecting less and this is actually a very well designed app. and thank you for the Australian
U need this
It is difficult or impossible to enable microphone on some devices. I do not recommend it if you haven’t already enabled the microphone on another previous app purchase.
i couldn’t even get past the first starter exercise because even though my mic was on it kept freezing while i was playing
