Terrible. This is probably the best word game ever except for the fact that it is constantly crashing! And it seems to crash just as you are about to solve that level. Do not buy anything because you will lose it all when the game crashes. In addition, the ad server is NEVER responding. Give me a break. Fix this game once and for all!!!

Languinis Word Game. Let me start out by saying the I LOVE LOVE LOVE this GAME!! It is one of my Favorites!! The ONLY REASON I give it ONE STAR, is bcus I really wish it would work better!! Every time I get into the game, it freezes right from the get go, then when it does start, it plays fine for a little while, then it will freeze again, and /or kick me completely out and I have to start all over again and have to start the level all over again!! Plus when you try to Buy COINS, it will freeze so you don’t get the coins, but the purchase will go thru, but again NO COINS!! I really wish this would get FIXED!! And the COINS not b so EXPENSIVE!! I would play more and spend more if it worked better and stop stealing my $$ and not give coins!! Please fix so I can play bcus I absolutely love it!! 😢😢😢😢

Great game, but ads are about to drive me away.. I do enjoy this game very much. It’s cute, creative and challenging without being too frustrating. HOWEVER, the abundance of 30 SECOND videos you are forced to sit through - every couple levels or every few minutes - is painful and far too time consuming. I’ve suffered through half a dozen or more in a 30 minute play period! If ads aren’t shortened to 15 seconds, or an option to pay to remove them isn’t made available, I will have to stop playing.

Level 599. Based on the level I have reached, I have been playing this game for quite some time. I have completed every level with three stars. I have spent some money on this game. I thought that every level could be beat without spending money. That is until level 599. Simple level it seems. Get "x" amount of points and get 8 words that contain the letter U. Except with using the extra letter power up I have only gotten 4 words. I've been playing this level for weeks. The amount of U's given is absurd. I refuse to spend money on this game. It's a fun, challenging game but this level is unbearable without obtaining coins and power ups. I have yet to see more than four U's for this round. Instead of deleting the negative reviews, comment on why this is. Another issue is the daily spin. I have accumulated so many power ups that are unusable. Why have these if the levels for usage don't exist. This game started out so good. Yet, like a lot of others, attempts to get you to spend more money than should be to beat a level. There are so many challenging word games out there that aren't nickel and diming you. This is just another game that is asking for too much in my opinion.

Ad server issues. I’d give this game 5 stars, but I’m only able to do the ads to earn more power ups about once every 10 tries. It keeps saying I need to be connected to the internet. I get this notice when I have full reception with both cellular data and WiFi. But magically, the random pop up ads work perfectly, even if I got that notification seconds before. Lame. The gameplay is pretty cool tho. Challenging enough to keep interest but not so challenging I give up and delete LOL fix the ad issues and I’ll play more and spend actual money. Until then I don’t trust the game functionality enough to spend real $.

Will there be an update?. I have been playing this game for a while and have gotten add far as I can (roughly level 1390) but am stalled waiting for an update so I can keep going. Any news on when the next levels will be open? A negative - and question for the developers: I used to keep my game play updated on my Facebook account but ditched Facebook last year. Every time I open the app I'm prompted to associate my FB account even though FB is not linked to my account in my phone settings. Is there a way to bypass this? It's annoying.

Best Mobile Word Game Ever. I’ve never written an iTunes review, but I feel compelled to for this game. To put things into perspective, I’ve beaten all 900 levels and have 3 stars on about the first 135. All while never having spent a dime. I actually feel a bit guilty because this is such a fun game, and I can tell a lot of work went into making it. Some levels are very difficult, and with randomness being, well, random, you are not going to succeed on the first try every time. Power ups can help, and some times you need to save up some coins which can easily be done by checking in every day as well as by other means. Thank you to the team who made this game, I’ve been enjoying it for over two years now.

FURIOUS!!!!!!!. I love playing this game but I got to a level that was ridiculously difficult and had been playing it for days. Finally I decided to give in and spend whatever money I needed to to get past it so I bought coins to get extra turns and boosters and within the game I had to buy even more coins at least once. I spent $15 or $20 buying these things and finally got to the point where I only needed about 400 points to win the level (159) but I was out of coins and needed 80 to get five more lives but in the process of making the purchase it blew up and I lost. I think once you commit to making a purchase they should suspend the 10 seconds they give you to decide if you're going to go on. I'm furious and extremely frustrated and am deleting the app.

Love it but issues. I love love this game. But I have had numerous issues with kicking me out and it seems whenever I use a bomb or blocker remover, it kicks me out so I waste a life and perk many times a day. I have contacted support many times, and completed the suggestions they give me but it has not helped. I have deleted and downloaded it again about 5 times, which then I lose all my lives, coins etc. I wish they would fix it because this is my fav game! Support sent me some coins but still hasn’t fixed my problem!!! I guess I have finally given up on it

CRASHES AND TOO MANY ADS. this was a fun game at first however now to get through any level you have to watch ads and I mean multiple ads if you want any hope of beating the levels worse yet if you’re actually about to win a level it will just crash and not once or twice this happens all the time and yea I have emailed and nothing has improved also sometimes they have specific letters they want you to use in words and I have cleared entire boards of blockers and have suffered through multiple ads for extra moves and bombs to never have the specific letter they requested to ever appear so there is no way to complete the level it’s frustrating and not fun I will be deleting this game it should be fun but it’s infuriating

Decent game but has some issues. I enjoy this game however there are some less than enjoyable aspects I do not like. I prefer Alpha Betty by far. The reasons I don’t love this game are the ridiculous timed tiles. I like to take my time to form the best word not just slap together the word dog. That’s not really my thing. Another aspect that I do not like is the boosters are typically useless that you earn in tiles as the tiles drop in a way that you usually don’t get to use them. If you are going to put a timer on the tiles and you want me to spell a specific word please be reasonable.

Very Frustrating. I have played this game for a very long time and really enjoyed it. The concept and graphics are fantastic. However, it seems that with the last few updates, the developers have gotten extremely greedy. This game has always been challenging, but now some of the levels are virtually impossible which require you to use and buy additional power-ups in order to solve the puzzles. There is a spin feature (which in theory is nice) where you can watch a video to earn power-ups (which you will definitely need), but more than half the time, the reward doesn’t get credited after watching the video. This game is now really disappointing especially since it used to be so good.

Crash. I love this game, very challenging. I got to a higher level and at first started buying coins but I just can’t do that...if I have to quit playing I will.....can’t spend my money on that. However the main problem is that now the game crashes every few minutes. There is one particular ad that ALWAYS freezes so anytime that one shows up, I just go ahead and restart it myself. But now it is at the point that the whole game just stops with no warning. I tried deleting it and downloading it again, but now it is worse than ever. I can’t get it to work for even one whole game. I have tried restarting my IPad but that didn’t help. I don’t want to stop playing but I don’t know what else to do.

Needs Vast Improvement. I am losing interest in this game when almost every other game I lose a point because the game does not recognize a common word that most educated people would know. I know how to report the words. I just find it tiresome to continually have to “send suggestions for new words” when these are neither new nor should they be suggestions. They have been a part of the English language for years. It is obvious the people who are running this game are not language or word fanatics. They reply to my requests for a running tally of the words that I have “suggested” and the outcome with instructions of how to send words to them that the game has previously deemed “not words”. It is a fun challenging game without the hassle and poor support. That however overshadows the fun. I will find another game.

Finally fixed! Great game!. After months of crashing problems, the app is now working like a charm!!! Thank you, tech support, for making this fun, challenging word game do what it is supposed to do!!! Now, if you’d give more moves in the “extra moves” or the initial moves set, it would be even greater. But hey, that’s part of the challenge, too, to achieve the goals in the number of moves allotted. With all of the boring “match 3” type game apps out there that all copy the same game pattern, I'm amazed this game hasn’t been cloned by others. I don’t tire of playing Languinis as I do many other games. Thank you again for fixing the crashing issues. Oh! And can you bring back the function that allows players to check the words that got rejected to see what mistakes we made, and to report words that should be added to the dictionary? Crashes Constantly!. This would be the best game in the App Store, if only it weren’t so buggy. After the game had crashed a few times while playing, I went to the App Store to leave a review, only to notice there was an update. I was so excited, but to my disappointment, nothing had changed. Not even after restarting. Not two level attempts in, it crashed again. I appear not to be the only one with this issue. Apparently, it’s more important to add a seasonal update than to make the game more stable. I’d love to put money into this game (the graphics are well done, and the gameplay style is great), but I watch ads to get power-ups only to watch the game crash before I can finish the level. What a waste of time.

Great game for constant ads, crashing and in app purchases. I’ve been playing this game since it came out and it’s really gone down in quality. It gives you less time on each level now as it expects you to keep feeding it $$ with in app purchases. It crashes way to often as you’ve completed a level and makes you start that level again. My latest in app purchase didn’t record in the game so I didn’t receive the extra coins I purchased and still got charged for them in the App Store. I don’t believe the developers are the same that started this game and obviously don’t care about its integrity or customers who play it.

Last update erased all progress. I love this game; before the last update I would’ve given it five stars. I had collected hundreds of power-ups and more than 2,000 coins, which are used to enhance game play. Unfortunately, the last update stripped me of all of my collected perks, and I had the chance to discover truly abysmal customer service. After emailing support, I received a reply asking for more information, such as my platform and operating system version, and a statement that they could give me extra coins to re-purchase power-ups. After supplying all the information they asked for, I have received no more replies from them. I have emailed several times, and left messages on Facebook, to no avail. Beware non-existent customer “service”!

Not your normal word search game. Let me start out by saying I love this game and I have played them all. It makes other word games plain Jane compared to this. It starts out easy and goes slowly enough in levels that you never feel left behind or that you can’t accomplish the goal. The little guys that run around in the game remind me of the old Lemmings games and are just fun to watch as you work around them. The game combines word searching/creating with solving other types of puzzles, like finding 20 red triangles plus 3 words with the letters S and L in them. The dictionary that is used to see if you have created a viable word is the latest version of the Merriam-Webster dictionary. Since I use this game to help expand my vocabulary, I find this very useful. To the others who find the game frustrating, find an online app that helps you make words out of the available letters to get past the hard areas instead of using the tools. Just check the words these apps make against the Merriam-Webster dictionary before using them in the game. In the long run you’ll expand your word knowledge and it will get you past the levels that are difficult. Is this cheating? No. It’s learning new words that are useful in your everyday life. I highly recommend this game.

Beginner who loves challenges. This is definitely challenging in that it makes you be more creative as it requires longer words. Glad it's not timed ... sometimes I have to try and use strategy in getting the colored tiles lined up to be the most help in finishing the game, if you want to do it the first go around. Have to admit I did one level at least 6-7 times before I realized it pays to take your time unless you like repeating games. Very entertaining and will stick with it as long as I'm not spending money. Somebody is getting rich off our hard earned money and I had to put a stop to some other games already.

New levels rarely added, otherwise great game. This has been one of my favorite games, but now I am up to the top level and it seems that they only add new levels (30 each time) every two or three months and I finish those in a few days. I have never had to buy coins because you can earn coins and boosts every day just by checking in. This is the only game I've found that is so generous in free boosts. I agree with another player who didn't like the timed tile levels. Those are very annoying and raise my blood pressure. Otherwise it is a fun and relaxing game!

New format. I hate the new format. Can’t read the last row of letters for the little masked men. I’ve also had the game lock in place and have lost bonuses because you have to go completely out of the game to get it unhung. The 40 second commercials are horrible. I understand advertising, but 30 or 40 seconds is more than some tv commercials. And the spin the wheel seems to be fixed towards longer lives than to bonuses you can use. Sorry but I love the game, but it’s got to many holdups.

ITS LITERALLY UNIQUE. This is not like any other matching games! All the others just have like switch the candies, and to be honest, this has it too. But it’s the letters that make it exciting! The letters are so unique that I can’t explain it! I hope nobody copies this game idea. I love how when you match it they turn into letters. Most matching games are candies and stuff. But this is a cute ancient civilization! They also have a Phoenix God! Which I don’t believe in, but phoenixes are my favorite type of mythical creature/bird! I would recommend it if I could

Good!. Re-downloaded again after many years. Now with Alphabetty Saga gone, I’m finding the scoring dynamics frustrating. No matter how many high point or long words I make, and no matter how many moves I have left, the score will just not make it to three suns. It seems that as a word game, you should be much better rewarded for good word making. Otherwise, it’s fun. But I can see how it urges you to be tempted to spend money.

YOU WANT TO HAVE A BLAST..... HERE’S YOUR CHANCE. This game is really fun but you have to have your “Thinking Cap” on because it gets progressively difficult but in a very fun way. If you like word games than this is for you. It has cute Graphics along the bottom that gives you their opinion of how You are doing. It has really helped me start thinking about how I spell my words again. It is amazing how we forget so many things. This sure helps plus have a good time too.

Wish it would consistently work 😞. I would have ranked it higher if it wasn’t for the continuous glitches. Love the game and totally addicted to playing it. However, it does shut down completely & super frustrating when you’re in the middle of a game. There goes your limit of 5 lives 😣. If the glitches wouldn’t happen as often (currently hasn’t worked all day today!) and maybe an offer of unlimited hour of play to make up for the glitches, that might help ease the pain a bit. Otherwise sadly I may have to give up on the app game entirely.

More Disappointments. Just got an update 1 day ago ... to fix various bugs. And just had back to back crashes before I could even start the games. I would really be irritated if I had bought tokens only to have the game crash before winning after using a token to win in the first place. Continues to be plagued with bugs. Some ads got quite a bit shorter which was so refreshing; but today the game loads, you get 3/4 through the game, use several tokens of one kind or another only to have the game crash.

Love GAME BUT. I have been having crashing issues. Not a person to complain much. But when u make purchases to buy the boosters and then your game crashes on a hard level that u were using boosters... doesn’t make me a happy camper. This has been going on for over a few weeks. If it was happening just a few times here and there that’s different. But this needs to be fixed. And yes I have checked for updates on phone and game. And done some other trouble shooting so to speak. Very annoying. Have no complaints other than that. I also have friends that are having the same issue.

Excellent! My new favorite game. This game combines match 3 with a clever word game. So it is not the same mindless waste of time that, let’s face it, is so easy to get sucked into and then makes you question your existence. And it doesn’t get boring because it’s actually a little bit challenging (but not too much). I love it. The game play is clever and the graphics are adorable. The little guys that hang out with you on each level are so cute. Totally worth your time.

Many issues no fixes. I absolutely love this game and have been playing it for almost two years, the last update screwed everything up and I’ve had nothing but problems. The game hasn’t worked in three weeks, I have contacted them at least 10 times about the issues and have gotten jerked around and received no answers or help. I have provided them with the information they asked for along with screen shots etc Poor customer service and support. It’s too bad because I really love this game and used to look forward to playing it whenever I had a free moment

Good game BUT the ads.... Update: I’ve purchased coins and other options, however after playing consistently for a week, the full screen 30 second ads I’m forced to watch still (for some gambling solitaire game is just too much). I’d pay a reason price to by pass the ads but apparently that isn’t in the business plan. So I just deleted the game. I’m sure another will come around, and hopefully they’ll consider that some players really do just want to play and we’ll pay for an ad free version. ——- It’s a good game but the repeated ad prompts to gain jewels and other useful powers are a sad distraction. One that you can’t even pay to remove. What you can pay for is helpful but doesn’t remove the distractive pay elements. Waiting for the no ads option... then I’ll be back. Oh, and pls give us the option to submit words for inclusion that aren’t recognized by the in-game dictionary “MINON” as just one example.

Long time player, 1st time commenter. I really love this game & hv played for a long time & hv dealt wth the game messing up here or there or it not paying rewards right but now for the last month in continually being knock out of the game even right as ive completed needed goals to move on in the game & whn i get bak on im still on the same level as if ive nevr played tht level but my extras tht ive used in tht game isnt returned so their jst lost i guess. Now for the last 3-4days as soon as i begin a game im able to 2 or 3 actions or make a couple words thn im knock out of the game. I really hope u guys are able to fix whtevr problems causing ths cause im really ready to jst uninstall & delete ths game. Thnk u!☹️😞

Game makes me repeat levels I’ve already beaten!. I agree with so many other reviewers who say the game is fun, but terribly rigged and too many ads! It hasn’t been crashing on me, but it consistently fails to give me credit for the last level I complete before force closing the game each day. The next day, I open the game, and it makes me repeat the last level I beat! Very frustrating, especially on levels that are impossible to beat without using a bunch of power ups. I wrote to the developers, and they gave me the same song and dance as everyone else— i must have an old version, I need to update, need to force close, blah blah blah. They said they don’t keep track of our progress unless we log in on Facebook to play! Well, screw that, I refuse to play games through Facebook. They don’t need to collect and sell any more of my personal data than they already do. I had been playing the game for about a year when something happened and it started me back on level one. Developers told me that wouldn’t have happened if I played through Facebook. Sorry guys, not gonna happen.

Raising my rating!. I loved this game from the beginning as a better alternative to AlphaBetty. There was a point in the middle of the levels where you could not meet the requirements for extended periods of time, even using all the boosters you had. As the levels progressed that stopped happening. In fact, I begin playing it so obsessively that I reached the end of the levels that are out. It has challenges, but it is easy to continue progressing without frustration. Love it!

Games cheat too!. I can't argue that this game is fun, unique, addicting, etc. but you must have coins to beat certain levels and earn 3 suns. The only way to earn coins is by signing in everyday and on the 5th, 10th & 15th day you are rewarded with coins. I just hit 15, I'm curious to see if it restarts. I think this is an ingenious idea for marketing this game, so why cheat players by withholding tiles & letters so blatantly when there are 2 moves left. Also, there is a level on each Island that is almost impossible to beat without purchasing coins. Charge for the game instead. More importantly fix the crashing, freezing and other bugs where you instantly lose p-ups and coins. I’ve deleted the game again which is too bad- it’s an all time favorite. I need to remind myself, “This game has not changed, do not give it another chance.”

I can’t believe how many reviews. So I just scrolled thru all if the reviews and I REALLY can’t believe how many people are experiencing the same issues and like me don’t even get a response back much less credited and made right for all that is lost from repeated app crashes, having to restart phone, following the directions given in help area on game in app, etc. and then to be completely ignored by support staff. If you do get a response it , for me at least, is always the standard we’re here to help (not true) and please provide us (do our job for us) with answers to these umpteen questions. Questions that are repeatedly asked for. So much so that it’s to the point I just give up. I am truly dumbfounded by this since from the other complaints that I’ve read here, it sounds as if we are all players who invested not only our time in your game (which by the way I do truly love playing) but our hard earned money. This is the one and only game I’ve EVER spent money on and it will also be the last. The developers and their paid support staff should be ashamed of their selves quite frankly. I don’t expect for one second to get a response from this but it sure felt good to lay it all out. I did take note if the couple of people who stated their negative reviews were wiped. I will take that to heart and keep a copy of this. I will repost it everyday if need be.

Fun yet odd. I find this game fun, no glitches or crashes or freezing of my screen. I have gotten many 3 star levels without using any coins. The mistakes have been mostly mine. You have to make sure all the letters you tap actually go into your word. Many, many times they do not and I have to re-tap. The odd thing is that there are treasure boxes with rewards in them for you to collect that go??? where? That’s a puzzle to me. As for the creators of the game, they either want you to play their game and care about your responses or they don’t. If you don’t like it, don’t play. LOL

Geeks got game now!!!. Oh yea! So it seems I can use my brain WHILE HAVING AN ADDICTIVE BLAST! I am already up past my bedtime but a I am grown 😃 Seriously...what a fabulous game so far! I love word games Is this provides an extra element word games don’t have (a least the ones I’ve played) I haven’t gotten bored and I have failed already a few times so I am no genius💁🏼 This is something that you can play without having to spend money and it’s great for all ages

This game is awesome. I found this game by luck somehow I was searching some other games and this one was there and I liked it so I downloaded it and gave it a try I know it’s way past 10 o’clock my bedtime my phone battery is getting low and going to die soon and yet I still want to play even though my eyes are closing in them tired this game is great it’s very addicting I just absolutely love this game

Keeps kicking me off. So this is my second time to contact you. I have not heard back. So I am writing again. I had been playing this game for a while I had passed a ton of levels. I made purchases that I lost. Shutting my phone off didn’t help the problem so I deleted the game to see if that would take care of the problem. It started me completely over. I lost all my perks and rewards. Now I am on island 4 again and it has started kicking me off again again. I shut my phone off to see if that would help, but it hasn’t. Is this a problem you could fix for me? Can I get my purchases back, not in credit, but in rewards? Please respond to me and let me know what I should do. Thank you, Traci

Video ads doe Power Ups. Initially I was crazy about this game. But now when I watch a video ad for extra I don’t get the credit or power up. I consistently get “you have to finish watching this ad to receive the power up”. But I DO! I even wait minutes before clicking the x but I get the same message. I would delete and load the game again but I just bought a bundle and I have accumulated lots of power ups that I do t want to lose. Very disappointing. Update. Now the ad server is not functioning and unable to use the spin wheel. very disappointing.

Review. I don’t know if anyone else has this problem but many of the features that are available aren’t working. The pig where you can fill and get extra money doesn’t work. Also when you watch an ad to double when it is offered doesn’t work most of the time . Also when I get the suns reward it comes up but but goes away when I click on it and I don’t get the reward. I have played this game for several years and love it but the longer I play it more features for rewards quit working. I thought about uninstalling it but if I do you lose all your progress when you reinstall it. It is very frustrating. Please help!

Giving 5 Stars... BUT.... I’ve been playing Languinis for a few years and it’s my No.1 favorite word game, BUT I am definitely looking forward to the coming update because for some reason, for the past few months, it randomly crashes and shuts down in mid-game. It’s especially frustrating if I’m close to winning a level I’ve been battling for a bit, so I sure hope the update fixes it. Otherwise, great work on a game that’s challenging, yet relaxing - a hard combo to hit!

👎👎 0 (Zero) Star Rating!!. I’ve had this game for 2+ years. I had completed more than 800 levels, many of them took dozens of tries before finally moving on with only a 1 star win. I only conquered some levels by spending cold, hard $$ (real money). There have been some bugs but NOTHING COMPARES TO THE BUG THAT HAPPENED AFTER THE UPDATE FROM April 2022!!! I opened the Languinis to find ALL levels, beyond what I had done, COMPLETED. Every level is marked with a 3 star finish. Cool, right? Not so much 😡 I didn’t have many accumulated extras. I use them up quickly. But now there is a padlock on EVERYTHING!! WTactualF??? I’m sure that I’ll get no reply but I wouldn’t mind if the “developers” proved me wrong 😑 Is my experience worth being addressed? We’ll see… I’m not sure if I should wait for help or delete because this bug may be a breach!

Freezing when extending play. I have enjoyed this game until recently. One, I have played the same level over 20 times. The object is to use 8 words that have the letter “u”. The problem is that I have never gotten more than 5 “u”’s. The average is between 4-5 of the pesky letter. If you are going to have parameters to achieve a level you need to program that level so the parameters can be met. Not rocket science. Twice in the last week the game froze when I used my coins to extend play on a level. This caused me to lose the coins and the level. The scenario is the same. I am close to finishing a level when I run out of plays. I choose to use my coins to extend play. The game goes to a screen to buy more coins. I decline because I have enough coins. The game returns to the game screen but freezes. I cannot input letters or make matches. Please fix this problem. Ok decided if they do not want to fix it, I will delete it. Froze once again. No longer fun, made it past level 550, but I am done.

Great game but too many crashes. After reading the reviews , I’m glad to know I’m not the only one having a problem with the game crashing and kicking me out. I too have reported the issue many times and have gone nowhere with their support people. I have also received the same generic messages “we’re sorry blah blah blah” or “our team is working blah blah blah” or my favorite “we are sending you some coins blah blah blah”. Baloney!!! They never sent squat!! The last straw was when I asked a question of why a certain change was made, the response was “we don’t have access to why it was done”. Whaaat?!?! Do yourself a favor, do not download this game! The idea of it is really fun, but the execution is terrible. Save yourself the stress!

Second review - new problems :(. Well... I dropped this game shortly after downloading it in March because of frequent crashes on one device, then crashes on another device plus problems with levels not unlocking once I'd cleared the ones before them. Went back to the game in April to see if the problems had resolved. They apparently have, but now I've been running into a new issue. There are levels in which players must spell certain words, or spell words that include specific letters. On several occasions I have played full rounds without necessary letters appearing on the board. For one particular level, I played 11,times before a certain necessary letter ever turned up. In another case where I needed to spell multiple words featuring the same letter, I played 17 rounds before that letter appeared more than once. This seems to be a ploy to get players to buy power-ups, but it's a cheap tactic that I won't give in to. I do spend money in-app on many games, but not when I feel like I'm being forced or aggravated into it. I LOVE this game in so many respects. It would be one of my all-time faves if there weren't so many problems with it!

Ughh. This game is not made for iPhone XR and on users. The purposes of the boosters can’t be read bc it’s blocked by the iphones speaker. I will do a free spin and get 1 or 2 hours of unlimited lives and will only be given 15min or 30min at the most. I have been trying to get on this one particular level for 3 days now and every time I go to press the land my screen goes black. The game is fun for the brain but a bit too hard as far as the challenges. I don’t mind spending money from time to time on certain games. But, I refuse to spend my money on this game. Too many glitches. If I can’t get in to play today to give it another chance this game will be deleted.

Crashes constantly. I’ve played this game on and off for 4-5 years. The game has been vastly improved since I started playing, but one thing remains constant: this game crashes and closes frequently. By frequently I mean every time I play, if I play long enough. Today I was playing a difficult game, so I used several power-ups. When I had 9 moves left, and victory was possible, CRASH! Those power-ups are gone forever, as is the record of my game play. Developers, I have posted like this many times, and the crashing problems never are addressed. That’s why I play for a short time and then walk away in frustration—again! This is a great game, truly, and could be so much fun. I’ve played so many, many games in the past decade, and none of the others have this problem constantly. Jeez, hire some better programmers, people!!

Irritated!. Been playing this for a while now....made several comments / reviews on multiple issues....and amazingly they have all been deleted, only positive reviews showing. I am on level 197 and have been for days. For the most part I haven't had trouble beating the levels, they were challenging but was able to get them. But, this is a joke. For 4 days I've played went through multiple coins and lives and in upwards of 60 moves couldn't manage to uncover 7 Rs, yes only 7!!! 3 times I was close, and amazingly froze, then got booted. (Or I couldn't get 40 of the yellow gems.). Any other level I've gotten DOZENS of RS!! Just like the level where you needed Zs, it took multiple tries to get Zs and there's always plenty of them. Seems the game is a little rigged to get you to buy coins...

Great game. Love this game. Love the challenge of performing the desired task while still playing a match 3 game amid the frustration and elation it sometimes causes. I recently upgraded the game...BIG MISTAKE! Since doing so the game has been freezing and I’ve consistently lost lives which to my mind are valuable as I’ve earned them through brain toil and perseverance Not a happy Camper. Also, the new Christmas theme is just horrible, the and nothing but a distraction.

Great game but small glitch. Great game, awesome graphics but I keep getting a blank screen after selecting the level I want to complete and acknowledging the targets to achieve..

Don’t buy the coins. This is an excellent game which both my wife and I enjoy; however, it is difficult to get three stars on a number of levels without using boosts. As you would be aware, if you don’t have any, these require coins. On more than one occasion when I have gone to purchase coins, the purchase will go through up until you receive the “you are all set” notification; and then the game freezes and you do not get your coins. Worse still, it then takes several days for the purchase notification to come through, so you can request a refund. If they fix this problem, it would be 5 stars, but I hate being ripped off!

Major crash problems. I like this game very much, HOWEVER, it has many many technical problems. It's usually seems to happen when I'm in a game where it looks like I'm going to win. Sadly this isn't the only problem. I play on my iPad and I can't have the wifi on at the same time because it crashed. I also can't play my music at the same time. They desperately need to get rid of the Christmas background, it's extremely annoying and it's nearly 2 months since that passed. I also don't like the limit to the amount of games you can play as I like to play for many hours.

Game too unstable. This game used to be occasionally unstable, but worth putting up with an occasional crash. Now, since the Halloween update, I can't even get through a level without the game crashing and I lose all my progress. Fix your bugs please and get rid of the Halloween update, it's a disaster!

Shadowing Crumpet. I love playing this game. Does frustrated me at times but it is my favourite. Also frustrating is the help desk. Been waiting 11 days to a response to their question. But beside this play and enjoy. It does tax your brain power at times.

Languagey. See? it has made me much more cleverer alreddy! Seriously, this is a fun little brain teaser. Good to have to use the grey matter for a change.

Lost it all. I have been playing this game for quite awhile and had gotten quite a long way in it, but it started glitching, not opening properly etc. I tried installing it again but it has gone right back to the beginning. Really not interested in starting all over again....disappointed!!!

Style over substance.. Not sure yet. Great graphics and a nice twist on the usual candy crush type structure. Time will tell if it will keep my attention.

Swap tiles to match three or more and get bonus letters to create words. Lots of different types of quests to keep you entertained. Really makes you think! Great game... BUT. Now the ads can’t be ended as the x to end the ad “accidentally” is in the wrong place, so no bonus given. This happens on most of the ads. This could be called cheating. I will be highly disappointed to delete this game as it is one of my favourites. Please fix this and retain your clientele.

Please can you read these reviews and fix,. I have been playing this game for a number of years now. The only thing that annoys me is that it cannot be rotated into landscape mode. It should be possible to play it in either mode. I have asked about this many times but still no fix. Can you please ask the developers to consider it. I have given 4 stars but would give five if it was rotatable.

Great game but major problems. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!! I have been playing this game for a while and it is great for word lovers. However, lately there have been major issues with unexpected shutdowns and it no longer connects to the internet. I have the game on both my iPhone and iPad, and the issues are common to both devices. I wouldn’t recommend downloading the game until the issues are rectified, as it’s impossible to play without the bonus wheel or ability to purchase additional coins. PLEASE FIX THIS!! This game is now IMPOSSIBLE to play for even short periods. And I have lodged the issues via the game, but as with others noted here, have never had a response.

Seems to be dying fast RIP. It WAS a great game. However the leaderboard situation has deteriorated. I could skip the leaderboard but that’s how you can get some free power ups. It wasn’t totalling properly. Then it went to crazy messages like ‘Congratulations you came second so you are being demoted’ (and you would be demoted). Now I am being locked out of participating in all events completely yet kept being told I didn’t do well in the game ( which I was blocked from playing) so now I am demoted again. At the same normal point totals aren’t being shown at all now for me. Each time I contact Support I get, what looks like an automatic response every time of “ this is a known issue but it may be some time before a fix is found so we are closing this ticket.”

Be Careful. This is such a great game but what REALLY cheeses me off is how much the game freezes…it seems the only way to overcome this is to delete the game and re load it…but in doing that I have lost all data and have had to start all over again…am so frustrated that nothing has been done to fix this obvious flaw in the game in the last at least 4 years…how old is this game anyway

Issue with vocab. This game is all dumb if you play against computer in endless mode it make words that have no meaning which actually put the players in a position where they think why cant they make any word like computer which can easily put off anyone hope developer will fix it and make some sense out of the game Thank you

Enjoy but keeps dropping out. I enjoy the game but when I try to get the power up at the beginning the video won't load so I didn't have that advantage. Also I get to the last 5 turns and it just shuts do win taking with it any power ups I might have used.

Too many broken links. The games is great however the frustration due to too many broken links is a real turn off. Special offers to buy extra helpers with a 300% increase for the same price are not honoured. If you finish a level and exit the game at that point it will take you back a level, even if you move on but do not play that kevel, it will take you back to the beginning of the previous level, wasting your helpers, costing you coins. The facebook link to credit you 10 coins has never worked. Their help desk does not respond or exist. Sloppy tech management or just sneaky thieves who knows? Just don't buy anything.

Love the game but can you move where the X is for the ads?. Can’t close ads because the X to do so sits right over the battery and wifi symbols... and there are soooo many ads it is really annoying. I have to wait for the ad to actually close itself, a good extra 10s after a 30s ad :/

Freeze. Since the last update the app do not work. It doesn’t past the titling point.

It was fun. I don’t know what happened, but it seems after the latest update the game no longer works. Freeing Languinis. Love this game. Have been playing it for months. Recently it has started to close in the middle of a level. And if you have used any of your coins or tokens, you don’t get them back I spent $3.50 today and used the coins to fill my banks, then it started to close on just about every level I have completed. Therefore my purchase today was a waste of money. Going to try something else for a while. Maybe you will fix this soon.

Expensive fun. If you’re willing to regularly pay money into the game, you will have lots of fun with it. Advanced levels are programmed to only allow you to complete the level using power ups which you can purchase with money or, within limitations, earn by watching promotional videos. Even if you like language you won’t be able to complete levels on skill alone. So be prepared to pay regular fees for power-ups, sort of like a membership game where you don’t know in advance what it’s going to cost you.

Latest version glitches. This game is awesome! The last update though has meant that I can’t submit any words - the green button is gone... please fix!

But when you came out with a ‘new and improved’ version that eliminated rewards, it began to be less and less fun. I do purchase now and then, but the obvious rigging for the house and against the player has taken all the fun out of playing. It been real. Its been fun. But it’s no longer real fun. This is a cute game, also not too easy.. I’m saddened by other reviews that are still up, one from a year ago This game is awesome! I’m with the App Store editors””Clever mash-up of two genres into one sweet package” Sometimes it has tension with the time limited tiles but within the level so you can still beat it. Other times it’s a brain buster getting that 10 letter word! (Don’t know if there are longer word requirements) but the relationship between word building and match-3 has more than two dynamics going on here. “Graphics are so cute!! Two games in one, been looking for a match game that is more thought provoking than a storyline, this is it. I’m hooked. Also the stickers in text are too cute Thank you”

Rigged?. At first, I loved this game. But as I have played it, I am beginning to think it is rigged. Often it is impossible to meet level objectives because letters and tiles that are necessary to complete them do not become available. I don't understand how points are assigned making it difficult to select tactical choices of the tiles. In order to move through the levels of the game, purchasing power-ups is necessary. Today, 5 words with letter "A" and not one "A" in 25 moves! Another problem: many real English words are NOT recognized by the application!

Cutest Game Ever!. Adorable graphics and sounds! Challenging and addictive, but some levels cheat you into purchases to get past them. I noticed if you are patient and use up lots of lives, most levels will eventually show the letters you need. A bit costly for power-ups. Very enjoyable and educational.

Giving up.. I’ve been playing Languinis for months, even spending the occasional $2 to empty my piggy bank.. all despite the CONSTANT lagging and app-quitting. Like the others, I’ve tried all the tricks of force quitting all apps, restarting my phone, etc but nothing works. It’s definitely sloppy work on the developers end. I’ve really enjoyed the game when it did work. It’s disappointing that this hasn’t been fixed with so many people complaining. Bummed to delete the app, but I have no patience for it anymore.

Beware. I must say this was a fun game to play. Loved the word challenges. However it is expensive as you need boosters to continue some levels. I recently purchased a coin package that did not load into the game. I contacted support and they wanted the purchase receipt. I could not paste the screen shot into their in app message system and never heard back on how to get them the receipt. So I contacted Apple support and they are refunding me my money. I have deleted the app from my iPad.

Game is good. There are definitely things that keep this game from being five stars - the timed levels are VERY annoying, and the iconography is not clear. Some of the levels are mediocre. But overall, the game is very fun - I'm currently on level 422 and play often. It combines scrabble and candy crush in a way that is sometimes easy, sometimes challenging, sometimes frustrating but usually satisfying.

So much!. I really like the game. Has great graphics and the combination of word and match games are fun. However, there isn’t a need for ALL the animation! It’s just too much! It’s overcrowded with graphics hat drain your battery faster and takes too much time to play (such as successfully completing a level and then having to wait while the lightning and graphics and little guys bounce around!) I just wanna play!

Crashes out of the blue repeatedly. I wanted to like this game but it got too frustrating because I was doing great, especially with harder levels and then right at the end when I would win on the first try and was supposed to get bonuses, the game crashed and it was right back to square one. Love it but....... I absolutely LOVE playing this game. It will expand your vocabulary and bring out the competitiveness in you. My only issue is that it is constantly crashing. You get a free spin for a power up by watching a 15 to 30 second ad and it always says “ad server busy” or it plays the ad then the screen goes black or it comes on very small on the display. Very frustrating that I can’t just open the app and play the game.

Game keeps going out in middle of playing.. I have been playing this game for years and really love it. Could be great... but it’s not. There is so much to love about this game, but it’s major flaws makes it incredibly frustrating to play. Why develop a game that can be impossible to play? To make money, apparently. It doesn’t recognize common words, it requires you to play certain levels for a week before it will give you the letters or power ups needed to complete the tasks, and the fees to buy the amount of “coins” needed to get such items is beyond ridiculous. I’d rather buy the game upfront than pay hundreds of dollars to play it. The concept and graphics of this game are amazing. The developers greed is appalling.

Love it, but glitchy. I love word games and this one is really fun. However, it is very glitchy. Sometimes, it freezes. Other times, it says you’re getting a reward, but then doesn’t save the reward/power up to your collection. It never gives the option to use some of the power ups, either. Oh, and like another reviewer said, I can’t pass level 599. I’ve never had more than 4 u’s and you have to get 8 of them. Even with using power-ups, I still can’t pass it. Seems like a scam.

Fun - but over done. 3 stars- Fun game but too much animation. It would benefit from some simplification. 8/19- updated to 4 stars because there are a ton of available levels and I continue to enjoy them. A nice combination of logical gem matching styles with a language component throw in. A unique twist on a familiar theme. I hate in app purchases and prompts. I'd gladly pay for a version that removed pop ups asking you to "buy more lives", etc.

Really fun until level 30 then ridiculous. I’ve played a lot of these kinds of games and they make it so hard way too soon. Candy crush, bookworm and pet rescue it takes 100’s to get stuck but this became ridiculous by level 30. You have to accomplish 3 difficult tasks on top of an insanely high score while being timed on letters! That’s not even fun that’s just stress. Dumb. If it weren’t for the timed tiles it would be perfect.

Doesn’t work anymore. I watched an ad, spun the wheel, and got two hours of free play on Languinis. Unfortunately, every time I spell out a valid word and hit the green check mark, the check immediately disappears and my word is still up there. If I take down the word and make another valid word, nothing happens. No check mark appears and the game just stays this way. So I lost the free two hours and I can’t play the game at all. Just thought you should know. I really love this game and I hope you can fix it!

Crashes a lot. I like this game and it is fun to play when I have a few minutes. However, for the last month or so it has started to crash every 2nd or 3rd time I try a board. I can see from the many other similar comments that the issue is across the game platform. It is getting to the tipping point where aggravation outweighs entertainment. If not fixed in the next couple days, then I will be deleting and find something else to play.

Not as much fun!. Since the newest upgrade (on level745), the lucky spin seldom works & the daily challenge lasts as long as the challenge to find words that start with a specific letter. Your game is also getting very expensive to play. Get your act together & give us what you indicate with regards to the spin & daily challenge. Also, your new graphics are too juvenile for the person whom this game attracts!

Game cutting off. This is one of my absolute favorite games, BUT, it’s starting to do something that’s very annoying . Cut off mid game!!! I hate having to keep starting over on the same board. Please fix this! Update: PLEASE FIX THE BUGS!! I was almost done with my board and it cut off again! I may have to delete this one😞

So far so good. I lost several of my favorite games due to the new iOS upgrade. This is one that looked interesting. I like so far that it’s not timed… I play games for relaxation and being timed does the opposite of that. So far it doesn’t seem extremely greedy, not making me buy anything, but I’m only on level 15. Just started a few days ago. But, so far so good…

Fun game but it keeps crashing. It's a fun game and all, but it crashes basically every time I play it. At first it was okay, it didn't really crash, but then I got a little further in the game and it started crashing more and more. I'd get on it and get in the game have at least one word found and it crashes. Then I get right back on it, it lets me get at least three words before it crashes. It's a cycle of crashing. It's annoying and stupid. So I got rid of the app. Ridiculous!

Unfortunate.... ....that this game, a game I absolutely love, is one I am going to have to delete simply because they do not offer a way to get rid of the ads.. When you play this, as I do, for hours at a time, having a •€~|?>|?’ ad pop up after every single game is driving me absolutely crazy!!!!

Different and challenging. As an experienced "wordie" who excels at spelling games, I enjoy the interplay of matching, spelling, time pressures, and varying objectives that Languinis incorporates. I'm committed to "making it" through without buying coins/lives so that slows me down a bit, but increases the challenge too - making this a good game to enjoy for a few minutes every day

Languinis. I love Languinis! It’s a fun, interesting game and it makes you think. Plus, there are none of the irritating ads that come with most games these days! It’s kind of like a crossword puzzle without the boxes, or a word search without the clues. It’s just fun for those who like games with finding words! 😃👍

Enjoy playing. I’ve just starts playing. The tutorials help but still get confused on what tools to use and how all special matches work. It challenging and fun. Looking forward to see if at some point money will be obstacle to success. When that happens, I’ll find another game. Hopefully. That won’t be the case.

All levels have 3 stars and I haven’t even played them. I downloaded this game today and I have never played it before. I thought it would be fun which it is. However, every single level has 3 stars already on it but I’ve never played them. I can’t earn stars because it just keeps each level at 3 even if I only earned 2 on the level. I’m unable to open the chest with stars I’ve earned. This is very disappointing. I love word games but this makes me want to uninstall it

I’ve broken a few yolks on these crazy little eggs.... I exclusively play word games. This is definitely my favorite. A variety of solutions in every level. Great brain trainer for my 65-year-old mind. I could spend hours playing, so I set a timer for 30 minutes to remind me to come back to earth.

Languinis. I love playing this game so much fun playing this game with friends and family wish there was more games like this one to play with friends and family playing this time by myself I wish you can have lots of games that two are more can play at one time

Too many ads lately. This is a great game. I like that it’s both a puzzle and a word game. BUT, lately, I’m forced to watch a lot of ads. I’ll win a level and be forced to watch a 30 second ad with no way to close it. It’s understandable to watch an ad to get a power up, it’s another thing to have it forced on you because you won a level. As much as I love the game, I’m deleting it.

Languinis. I recently downloaded this game just to try it. Well let me tell you, so far I am hooked on this game! The kicker is that my 6 year old grandson, Greyson is loving this game so much I downloaded it for him on his iPad! He is a good speller but I think this game challenges him to become an even better speller and have fun too!

The but.... It's a great game until you get into the levels of the 400's. At that point the difficulty gets way way over the top and to the point that no skill can help you and only power ups will get you through. From then on it simply becomes only a game of true frustration rather than fun. When you are on the same level more than a week it's time to delete. .... Personally I would rather have a challenge that's fun than repetitive exercises in futility and frustration.

Multi-level challenge. Not one of those match 3 games you can play in your sleep and I like that. I already like word games but this adds some strategy to that and is also visually appealing. Taking off a star for the unexplained mystery that are the ages. Moved up to the Bronze Age and am going through the levels but not moving at all in the Bronze Age leaderboard. Why is that? I thought points came from finishing levels?

Languinis. Love this game aside from the fact that almost every time I get close to a win on a difficult level and I make a coin purchase as I know I can win in the 5 extra moves I get but no, I make the purchase and it then freezes and I end up losing the game and never get the coins but am still charged for them. It is so frustrating. I am considering just removing the game altogether as I am losing money too much too often for nothing.

Love the actual game but there are many issues. I opened the app today & all of my power ups I had earned were gone - both on the screen where you click to start a level & on the top of the actual level. I tried logging out & back in & I am on the level I’m supposed to be on (272) but no power ups. The game also randomly shuts down all of the time. This is very frustrating when you are winning a level just to have the game close & have to start the level all over. The game is fun & a great concept but definitely needs technical work.

Great, BUT.... I love the game, truly do, but it would be nice to have a better and more frequent way to earn coins. I’m not an ATM and can’t afford to keep buying coin packs that are actually pretty darn expensive in comparison to packages I could buy on other games/apps that I also play. It would be cool if you’d implement a way to earn coins. The other thing I don’t get is why the value of 5 extra moves keeps going up every time you need to opt to continue. It ends up in coins/money wasted.

I Really Wish I Found This Game Before... ... this game became unstable. This game is entertaining and a great way to pass the time... when it’s not continually crashing and the beginning, middle or end of a round. Based on the reviews this may be a recent development, unfortunately I’m a recent player so this bugging, inconvenient mess is my only experience with this game and these developers. Not a great first impression. Today a new festival of bad cropped up, I’m unable to actually launch a level, any level whether it be new or already completed. Yay.

Sooo addicting! And absolutely adorable. I love this game. It’s so different and challenging. Way better then the same old... match 3 tiles and move on like all the other gams these days. This game requires you to actually use your brain (what a concept) and is so fun at the same time. Plus is suitable for ANY age. Not to mention super cute characters and music. You gotta play it!

Crashes. This game crashes and freezes up like crazy! I have to close it out and reopen it at least three times just to start a level. Almost every other level makes the game crash, then makes me lose a life. It’s a good concept of a game and I really like playing it.... when it lets me Editing: from 3 stars to 1! I’ve tried for a week to get the game to work. I’ve had to open it and close it out 6 times today alone and it keeps freezing. Twice was in the middle of a game!!! So yeah, I lost the power ups I used and two lives!!! I’m so close to deleting this nightmare.

The ads are broken. The ads make it impossible to play the game. If you wait for the ad, then it has a little ‘X’ at the top indicating the ad is done, if you click on the X it takes you to the App Store. Then you get back, click on the X again, and it still takes you back to the App Store. There’s no way to get back to the game. So I have to exit in mid game. It’s terribly frustrating. The game is fun when it works, but the ads make the whole thing malfunction.

Frustrating and stupid. This game could be really fun. But it’s not. When you play against the computerized character, it comes up with “words” that are clearly not English words. Things with 4 consonants in a row and other words that would be completely unpronounceable. Additionally, the rules clearly state that proper nouns are not acceptable, but the computer beat me with the word Iraq and other proper nouns, but rejected my word Mormon. The game should play by its own rules and use a standard English dictionary as a guide for acceptable and unacceptable words. The graphics are beautiful and game play is fun, but the dictionary needs extensive work for this to be a world-class game.

Ads remove enjoyment. The game was recommended by a relative and I did enjoy it originally, but the last couple of weeks I have been overwhelmed with ads to the point I deleted the app. Ad videos constantly were popping up between levels. I reached a level (136?) where I could not continue without watching ad videos. Even after sitting through the aggravating ad, the game froze and made me rewatch the ad, then froze again. The third time the ad video was required to advance I deleted the app and will not be back.

Treasure chest. I love the game and have been playing for at least a year. I cannot figure out how to use and find whatever I get every day. I can find the crystals and extra moves the ones that remove blockers, can’t collect anything else and don’t know how to find them. Help please!

Buggy. This game is up my alley - word search and match-three. Niiiice. But it’s been very buggy since downloading it last night. Freezes and crashes after watching ads and I lose whatever bonus was attached, and today, it refuses to load puzzle 16 past pressing start. Considering it’s a fresh download for me, I’m hoping it’ll get resolved with an upcoming update at which point I’ll improve my star rating because it’s fun otherwise.

Please FIX. I love this game so much I have recommended it to several people! 👍🏻 However, I hate the timed levels - they are ridiculous😖 Now I am at level 111 and I have been stuck here for days. 😡 The shimmering leaf will not check cleared. 😑 One game I eliminated 3 shimmering leaves and it never checked to move on. Please look into this! I’m going to find another game if it isn’t fixed soon! 😓 👎🏻 Other than this glitch and hating the timed levels, I really love this game!

Not updating anymore. I’m on level 1390 for 2 years now they have not updated. I went so far in this game only not being able to finish cause they refuse to update. I loved this game its very disappointing to me. Guess I’ll have to delete it cause I’ve gone as far as I could. It’s a shame they could not tell the people that it’s over.

This is an addicting game!. Love the background violin music, love the cute sound affects and mini people (just started today can’t remember what they’re called). This seems like a FAIR pay-to-play, at least it gives one a chance to move forward without having to break the proverbial games bank I’ve HAD TO create. Keep up good work!

Great except for. I've been enjoying the game a great deal except for the time tiles. When u get to those I am too conflicted about time to spell worth while words. Update I’m on level 879 and for the last 2 months my name and therefore my letter count (score) has been blank on the leaderboard pop up. I have contacted support n the app and even survived the last update without any fix for my issue. I have sent screenshots and messages to support but get no reply. I wish someone would tell me if my issue will be fixed and when,

Challenging. I have only been playing this game for a few days, and I am hooked. Unlike one of your reviewers who thought all the levels were easy up to level 599, I found that the early levels are challenging. I am 62 years old, so I find the puzzle is stimulating and helps to maintain my mental alertness and acuity.

Not working very good. Seems like every time there is an update I can’t get the game to work on my iPad it seems to work fine on my phone. I really love the game and play almost everyday. I’m so disappointed that I haven’t been able to play for several days. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!
