Excellent. My favorite habit app. Looks so pretty and clean. Takes a little while to set up each habit but that is consistent with most of the habit trackers and depends on how many features you're wanting to use (multiple scheduling, reminders, etc.) I like that it limits you to three things to focus on (on the free version - you can have more in Premium but I'm finding it useful still to keep it a low number since I was used to that the first year or so I used it). I like that you can rate how hard a particular habit is and it will take that into account in the arc of your goal. I also like that it shows how missing a habit for a while affects the current rootedness of the habit. When you see not only the habit and the completions but the relative degree of how much something really has become a habit and you can see how missing it for a couple of days can undo how much of a habit it has become, it helps you stick to each thing a lot more I think than if all you’re tracking is completion. If you have any problems it is definitely worth the time to contact them or do a review - they helped me with a couple of questions very promptly! (Thanks you guys!) I had been using this in conjunction with Productive but now I'm just using this. For some reason the other habit apps just make me stress even when I go in to record progress etc. and Better Habits just makes me smile, and doesn't feel stressful even when I'm dropping the ball a little on a habit. All of the little graphics to record various aspects of your habit still confuse me a little bit - it really does track lots of stuff - but the longer you stick with each habit the more those markers become clear.

Best habit tracking app!. I don’t usually write reviews, but I have to say this is one of the most useful apps I’ve ever had! It gives you motivation to keep going with your good habits, it has a very nice and clean interface, it’s easy to use and just works great! I have already formed to cornerstone habits for my daily life: meditation and reading. Now I’ll keep going with running and journaling.

Split decisions. Awesome

Use it!. The fact that it interacts with you is what keeps me going. I do my goal, press the button and it keeps track of my progress for me! So when I think of sliding off track, so does my progress. Next thing you no I'm still competing against myself to keep my habit!

Forcing me to take an honest view. This app is forcing me to focus on the habits that are my highest priority and keeping me honest about my efforts. It's transforming my approach to building the life I want by helping me slow down and focus enough to build it.

Easy to use. Easy to use and it’s fun to see progress. I like the reminders.

Simple but useful. This ap is simple but useful. I like the nag feature. I’m well on my way to establishing better habits.

Should be better for $4.99 a month. I like that this habit tracker has nagging alerts but the interface is not very intuitive. The stats does not seem to work I used this for a month and still not statistics. Not worth the 4.99 right now will check on it to see how it develops.

Straightforward and helpful!!. I love how the app is very simple and straightforward about settling and maintaining goals! It hones in on the fundamentals of habits and helps you see your progress. It even lets you do a repeating habit multiple times a day, like drinking multiple bottles of water.

Can finally have more habits!. It’s a full habit tracker without the hassle of a bullet journal! Just what I needed

Hope the habits can be repeated in any time. The app is so great and the animations are so amazing, but if the habits could be repeated in some time as set that would be better.

Love the app. I love the soothing colors and the little sounds it makes when you complete a habit for the day. You have the ability to make your own habits, picking a color, picture icon, and difficulty. You can go premium where it shows all of your habits on active display or keep it free where it only shows 3 habits on active display and the rest of the habits are queued. However, when you completely finish a habit, the app crashes. It also crashes when you try to delete a habit, it can get frustrating. Otherwise a great app for creating good habits.

Desperately Needs to be UPDATED. I’ve been a premium user for over a year now. There’s no doubt about it: its application of Nag Reminders to continuously push you to complete a habit for that day is brilliant. I’m astonished that no other habit app has adopted this feature because it makes a huge difference, especially given how easy it is to ignore a single reminder these days. Where this app falls short though is in staying updated. 1) How can you call yourself a serious habits app when you DON’T have an Apple Watch version? Or a Web App version? This makes it difficult for me to quickly check off my habits when I’m working at my Mac, for example, and my phone is on silent. As a professional, this is a frequent experience. 2) The last update was A YEAR AGO. I don’t understand how you can expect users to trust you when you are barely ensuring the app is optimized for the latest iOS. Because of this I have had to end my subscription and delete Better Habits.

Dev listens to fans/users. Update 2: I can finally give this app five stars. Jared has put a lot of thought, research and work into this app. I can't get myself to do anything daily without the nag feature. Thanks for brining back classic nagging! If only it worked with Snoozing, but I understand it's a limitation of iOS, not the app. Update: I have come to rely on this app to remind me to run. Its nag feature is genius. I also love the graph over the last few weeks of your ability to stick to the task. Thanks for the habit tool! Truly one that is useful. If this had an option to remind you multiple times a day to stretch or drink water, I would give it five stars. As is, it will help me with habits that need performed once a day.

Probably a Killer App, I’ll Find Out. EDIT: I WAS RIGHT! It was user error. I set all the settings correctly in the app, but had disallowed notifications in Settings>Notifications>Better Habits... I may be back to bump to 5 stars... lemme use it first... Later same day... All my editorializing today has been after the daily reminders; I just saw a “2” badge on the app icon; I searched every menu option I can find and cannot find the source of the red 2 on my dock app icon... ************************************************ (Original Post) It is probably user error. I’ve had the app for two or more months. I thought I set reminders in the beginning, but I’ve never been reminded. Being reminded and tracking actual behavior is why I bought the app. This morning I was looking at the apps in my iPhone 7 Plus dock. The fourth one was a blue icon with what looked like a mountain range on it. I clicked it. It’s this app. I recalled getting it and the zero assistance provided and began this review. I’m not a newbie and also have a Series 3 Apple Watch. If the developer follows these reviews, I may find that I am up and running in no time. In that case, my revision may include 5 stars. I love the concept. Help me make it work.

Love it!. I'm someone who needs to be held accountable and the nag feature is perfect for me. I am very happy with how the app functions..

Amazing. Great interface. I like how simple and straightforward it is. Only complaint is the lack of a dark mode.

A Different Kind of Habit Builder. While most habit apps just let you record your progress, this app actually helps you build habits and see where you are in your pursuit. Well-designed UI, sophisticated without being tricky. Nice job, developers.

Worth every penny. Fantastic app! 👍🏽

Great app!. Much needed!

Better habits. I like the app but I can’t figure out how to do simple things like delete a habit.

Love it!. Keeps me so aware!!

Great app. Holds me accountable. I like it a lot!!!

It’s fine. I can’t see paying for what it does, but I do like the mastery bar. Design is clunky. Nothing too exciting about it.

Great (forgiving) Habit Builder!. I really like how easy this app is to set up and operate. My favorite thing is that you get reminders (not "nags") to build your habits, you can set days of the week (yoga on Mon, Wed, Thur, Sun, for example), and if you miss a day you don't feel like you've failed-you just keep going.

Better Habits: Real Motivation.. This is by far the best app I have ever used to motivate me to perfect or change habits in my life. The progress of your habits will either advance or slide back wards everyday, depending what you record. It is positive reinforcement whether it is a good move or not. You can see what is happening everyday with no sugar coating any lapses. The affirmations are point on and yet subtle. This is the only scientifically based app I have encountered. It has helped me form positive habits and this is the first app I checkout when I wake up. It is unbelievably easy to use. I recommend this app to everyone whether you want to create or break a habit. This app will deliver. 👍🏻

Good. Loved the original version. Less excited about the changes with the new version. The concept and function are still great, just don’t like the new icons. Seem kind of tacky.

Brilliant. Really useful

The app I didn’t realize I needed. I thought I had a good handle on keeping up with my habits...Until I started tracking them with this app. Now, I’m able to keep myself accountable throughout the day, and keep track!

Simple and based on science.. Enjoying the simplicity, accountability, and the science behind it.

Life changer!. Okay, who really thinks that a three dollar app can change your life? I bought this app on a whim figuring, “Well, maybe it will be useless, but I’ll take a $3 gamble that it might help me with a few things.” I can honestly say that the simple format and clear layout are totally effective. I have already integrated a few habits that were evading me for years! I now recommend this app to all of my coaching clients to help them get their lives in order.

Great. Very effective

I love this app!. This app makes me want to form good habits.

Went nuts on me. This was a great habit tracker at first but then it went crazy on me. It began “reminding” me to track my habit even when I had checked it off for the day and even when I turned off “nag,” then finally turned off reminder altogether. I had 3 habits I was tracking so deleted the habit that went nuts. The next night, habit #2 did the same thing. I finally, say, ended up deleting the whole app. I also noticed that there were days it didn’t track though I pressed them and it also lost stats. So, I couldn’t give it 5 stars (or even close).

one of the best ones. the amount of resources to help you succeed with your habits in this app is far above any other app some other apps have a friendlier UI but this one has simplicity at its core and also has a very good UI better habits done today (habit tracker) streaks productive habitify .. these are the best habit apps in my opinion :)

😄. This is such a unique and well done app—bar none, one of the best I’ve seen in this space.

Simple, good design. Thanks to the developers for making its simple use free. It is a great app.

Keeps me honest. Just wish the notifications were more customizable.. Keeps me honest. Just wish the notifications were more customizable.

Great ideas, but some issues to work on. This app is cleverly designed and promising, but it doesn’t reliably record and track my habits. There’s no way to back up your data in case something goes wrong or you get a new phone and want to transfer your data. The pace of development has also been very slow considering the high costs for the premium membership and the significant limitations on the free version.

Great concept and execution. Simple and effective

Pretty good. I just started using the app and I think it is useful.

Best In Class. Love this app. Amazing and effective design. I think a widget is needed. UPDATE: best habit tracker bar none. Really appreciate the hard work and creativity of the developer.

CRASHED!. Several days ago a message popped up about “If you do this it will make your task complete” [or something like that]. Yet I could never get past that window, I had to delete and reinstall the application for it to work again, losing all my history.

Nag reminder not working. I like the concept of this app but the nag reminder just stopped working out of the blue. It would also be cool to have monthly and yearly Habits

This App Provides a Sense of Optimism. I rarely write reviews; however, Better Habits deserves kudos. This app is sleek, intuitive, and easy to use. It is clear the developers combined empirical research with a keen knowledge of programming. There is an instruction guide divided into concise chunks of information. This guide is accessible and provides a clear understanding of how habits are created. It details a full spectrum of barriers people encounter when attempting to build new behaviors, and provides research backed tips and solutions to overcome these barriers. It is the integration of the aforementioned knowledge, with the ground-up approach the developers took when building this app that makes it a gem. I highly recommend Better Habits.

Great Habit Tracker. The most useful app of its type I've come across so far. Simple in both appearance and function, yet it keeps track of progress in a more detailed way than the other apps I've tried. Makes it encouraging and manageable to achieve a habit.

Paid app —> Free + Subscription?. Update: Thank you Developer for your kind clarification. Original: Will existing users before the update be given the subscription for free?

GROUNDBREAKING. I’ve tried literally every habit tracking app in the App Store & this is a complete flexx 💪🏼 on all of them. Building a habit is more than just a consecutive streak for 30 days. A real true habit that is automatic to us often takes 90 days tbh so that’s why I love the way the app takes this into account. The only suggestion I can think of is maybe in the area where there are pre-listed habits, to add researched tips on how to best incorporate them. Tips like habit stacking sequences, cues/triggers, significance of environment, peer group, etc. For example if you want to work out daily suggest making new friends who live the gym fitness lifestyle or the daily guitar practice gives specific tip like making sure you have obvious alignment & eliminate friction by placing guitar in the center of the room. It’s really a great app I was kinda shocked how good I put this on the first page of my phone screen - that’s prime real estate ok 😂 👌🏼

It helps follow your activity and habits. Very nice and I was searching for this for a long time to estimate a habit how far I am following

Great but needs to be adjustable. I work third shift so half way though my day it starts a new day. I would like there to be an option to be available for third shift workers. I work from 8pm to 8 am so for those that don’t work third shift that’s like the app resetting at 12 pm. I bought a years subscription but I don’t know if it was the. Best choice as I’ve forced to get stuff done in half the time everyone else is.

Much better than other habit apps. I’m really impressed with this app. I’ve tried a few habit tracking ones. This is functional and beautiful but it also makes me want to do my habits for the day so I can keep my streak. Love it.

Good but.... This app is really good. I’ve been using it for a couple weeks and it’s really helped keep me motivated to form some new habits. But, there’s a bug that drives me crazy. The app provides a nice overview of past performance, with the ability to mark actions in the past as completed. Cool right, except it doesn’t save these updates. So when I return to the app after adding some, they are gone. Probably going to have to switch to another app because of this, unless a fix is issued ASAP. Also, there’s no watch app. It needs one.

There for you all the way.. This beautifully designed and pleasant interface is a brilliant tool. You feel as though you have a coach or mentor with you. It is very positive and supportive which makes changing habits that have plagued you for years suddenly achievable!!

It works. Simple, functional - strangely compelling tool that really does seem to help motivate and track activities for habit formation

Simple. I love the app and it’s minimalist design. Simple is always better. Visual habit tracking at it’s best!

KISS principle in full effect. Initially I found myself wanting to add more habits and do more with the app but I used it as it was and it’s become so useful. The fact the app is simple allows you to turn using it into a habit and only allowing 3 habits at a time is effective in making sure you don’t spread yourself to thin and motivates you to complete what you have active to get to the next habit goal ! Great app

Simply Lovely!. I love the simplistic design. For those without premium, your habits are limited to three which is the norm for other habit tracker apps. Personally I believe these limitations helps oneself to focus on the important habits that you’re trying to develop so it doesn’t hold you back from the experience. What I love from this app is how you can backtrack to input that you’ve done your habit the previous day because if there’s one thing that I haven't developed as a habit yet that is to input me doing my actual habits in this app. Options on customizing the little icons and colors also make it a treat for the eyes to use.

Works for me. It's a simple concept yet so effective!

Very Useful and Almost Perfect. Very useful and always improving, but still needs some way of capturing broken sleep patterns which may cumulatively add up to more than I thought.

Why is this a subscription rather than a full purchase. This app is good, I do not recommend the subscription. But the app does a fantastic job of keeping you ToDos organized.

Nicole. Cette application m'insite à garder mon agendae

Great app but having some minor issues. App seems to not respond when ‘levelling up’. Checking support to see if this is a known issue.

Adsterra is the most preferred ad network for those looking for an alternative to AdSense. Adsterra is the ideal choice for new sites with low daily traffic. In order to advertise on the site in Adsterra, like other ad networks, a certain traffic limit, domain age, etc. is required. There are no strict rules. Sign up!

Highly recommended it. This app covers everything required to successfully form a habit. The app helped me act in order to start the process of building a new habit. Highly recommend it!

Perfect. I've been using it for almost a year now and I love it! It's so simple but ridiculously powerful. I love watching my graph grow!

Very helpful!. This app has really helped me over the past few months. I've finally worked some habits into my daily routine that I'd half heartedly attempted for years. Now it's a great, quick, part of my day checking off my reps and really helped me be self accountable. Great product!

Crashes. Haven't even gotten to try it.

Waste of time. This app is annoying and does absolutely nothing. It harassed me to watch tips over and over which were in the way of actually being able to do anything with it. The little it says can do does not work. Says to drag habit from one window to the one below to delay and que it buy this does not work. Forget this.

Best and only habbit forming app I've used. I am not the type to use a habit forming app, but the simplicity and enjoyment I got from this one was worth it. I successfully formed one somewhat easy habit and am working on second. Clear, easy to use, and makes habit forming satisfying. Highly recommend this!

Good Reminder. This keeps you on your toes. As it is this is better at keeping you do good things like eating vegetables or going to sleep at a certain time. Alas the flip side of a good deed is usually a bad habit avoided such as not drinking alcohol. I wish the app were a little better formulated to induce me to stop doing bad things rather than to try to get me to start good habits.

Really love the concept + execution. I just started using this app to try to establish a new habit of daily meditation. I think you could use this for a huge variety of applications, but my goal is to slow down for a time each day to make sure I’m connected with myself and those around me. Better Habits could not be easier to use - very simple to set up a new habit and establish your goals. It gives you guidance on how many repetitions you need in order to establish the habit, and allows you to get reminders if you’d like. My favorite part is the way it tracks progress on your way to establish a habit, and lets you know if you are well on your way or slipping in your progress toward your goal. I look forward to continuing to use the app for this and future habits!

Review. Downloaded this app. When I tap it to bring it up on iPad, it deletes itself in less than a second. Humm?

개굳. 개굳

Love it!. 👍🏻

Life Changing. Would’ve never believed an app could help me foster a habit that I’ve tried to develop for 15 years, but it did… I can’t even explain it, but it worked.

Useless. Crashes all the time! Also, either not user-friendly enough to let you adjust a repeating habit, such as having 8 glasses of water a day, or just doesn't have that option at all.

Usually I don't rate apps. But this one is amazing. At first it seems cool but you have to even get in the habit of using it. Once you have used it for a couple weeks you can literally see your improvement, and the collection of dots is satisfying. Seeing your progress graph go up is great, it almost fills the "reward" part of your brain to see that you are "winning" in this app. I recommend this to ANYONE, and i have in person as well. It has seriously helped me.

Easily the Best Habit App. Better Habits is by far the best habit forming app I've ever come across! Unlike many other habit apps, Better Habits lets you fail for a day without going back to zero. I find myself much more motivated to keep on going after hitting small setbacks. The app's user interface is also very addictive and encouraging when forming habits. For instance, the little marks for each attempt are great "badges of honor" when creating a habit. All in all, the app is awesome for building habits and I'm looking forward to becoming a better person with it!

🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤. This app is fantastic!

Not the right app for me. I was looking for an app where I can check off things I want to do on regular basis, and to see record of completion. This app is not suitable for this purpose. It only allows to track three habits, which eventually "go away" once you form them. Since there was no free option to preview the app, I had to buy it to learn that it does not fit for me at all :(

Maravero. I didn’t like it.

Dog mom. I love this app! It is super easy to use and quite effective at motivating me. I have used similar apps in the past, but got too strung out trying to track too many things and quit. This app limits you so you can stay focused. The alarm reminders are helpful too. I am keeping this one!

Crashes. I was excited to use this app for 2017 goals, but after 5 minutes the app crashed and won't open. I'm going to hold on to it with the hope the developer will fix.
