💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

Trash and a RIPOFF. Even if you PAY, this stupid app won’t allow you to take the lessons you want, if you don’t earn enough “picks” first. The developer will give some bs response about learning in order - but a paying customer should be able to access ANY lesson they choose. It’s not YOUR call on what I am “ Ready” to learn! Save your money and get a real teacher. UPDATE - even if you pay 89 bucks - it STILL wont give you access if you dont do it in order. This is outright fraud.

Been trying for 15years. I have been trying to play guitar for 15 years with ZERO success.... this app makes it feel like a game I am trying to win. In less than a week, I am switching chords and playing like I have been doing it for months.... I love that there is a reminder to remind you to practice, all it takes is 10 mins a day. I am in love with this app

The most advanced technology ever. This app has the most advanced technology on guitar ever. Very intuitive and learns your weak points and leads you to the easiest and quickest way to learn. Also very fun to practice since it has great drums jam tracks etc. You will never get bored practicing and like to play more. I highly recommend it. I am 61 years old and has no affiliation with the developers. This is an honest review .

Issues with the microphone. I've used 2 iPad minis (4th and 5th gen), 1 iPad Pro (2019) and an iPhone 11 Pro Max with the app. Using three different guitars and two different amps or no amp at all, the app consistently misidentifies notes played. I've been playing guitar for well over a year and have used the built-in tuner, a Boss tuner and Kliq clip on tuner, thinking that there was some issue with the tuning. The app's tuner is just not as precise as the others I use and wasn't sure if this contributed to its consistent misidentification of notes played. I've not found a combination that produces reliable results. The Eleanor Rigby lesson is a especially problematic with the E minor chord. Third fret G on the first string seems to ge reported a bunch for different chords. My acoustic with the pick up unused and electric guitars produce the same problem for the same notes. I have a PRS Silver Sky and a Gibson Les Paul traditional and whether I use my thumb nail, no nail or guitar pick, I cannot get the chord. Using the cleanest tone on the amp with no effects, changing volume, etc. don't seem to have any effect. The chord identification portion of the app is unreliable as well. There's probably a specific type of acoustic setup that works okay with the app and I'm not sure what it is and don't really care.

BEST THING EVER!!!!!. PLEASE consider making a Ukulele version now! Now that that is out of the way, this app is great. It actually works. It didn’t seem to work very well using the speaker but is flawless using my irig. The developers actually listen and update the app regularly. I just REALLY wish they added ukulele support!

Great to learn guitar. I don’t have time right now to find an instructor and go to a lesson so this is a great way to learn on my own. I enjoy the structure of the lessons and the ratings. The complaint I have is the warm ups pull in chords I don’t know at all and are too hard (the bar chords are really hard for me. I have pretty small hands). Otherwise love this app.

Premium content is still locked. Hiding songs behind an a pseudo-XP meter is beyond frustrating for players who already possess moderate ability on the guitar. If I want to play a song, I SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO PLAY IT ESPECIALLY WHEN I'M PAYING. EDIT: Thanks for the timely response devs. However, it's a little bit confusing since the most obvious thing I want to do is "play-along" which *IS* locked until you play the full song with 80% accuracy...

Great app to start learning the guitar. So far, it has been great experience. One has to go to songs and learn the other hidden course it has which helps you solidify what you learnt in the course. The start up warm up can be hard as you go along and discouraging. Songs are ok. It just teaches you rhythm. No lead stuff here. No theory either. It just helps you with the technique, somewhat, as you got to learn how to strum and use chords on your own. Tons of areas of improvement.

Like having a real-world teacher. A terrible real-world teacher.. Put simply: this is one of the most aggravating, annoying apps I’ve ever used. It doesn’t really you what you did wrong, and it wastes your time. Instead of taking the time to fix your mistakes during many of the “progress-bar” based lessons, it just takes progress away and screws you over, as a post to taking the time to help you play the freaking chord. It feels as though they were giving out they’re app for free, so they saved their own time, by having these problems. But you know what? It’s one of the only free guitar teaching apps that’s even the slightest bit good, so, many people come crawling back to this, and guess what! I probably will too, and get ticked off all over again. Pay for Yousician or something, unless you like this then good for you! You probably knew guitar previous, unlike Me, who thought this highly regarded app could teach how to play with causing so much annoyance. Try it, if you feel so inclined, but I don’t recommend it.

Look elsewhere. This app does not work with iPad Pro. Can’t tell the difference between E notes especially and take 20 to 30 seconds to register a chord strum. Checked levels on the an all was good so something is wrong with the note recognition. Couldn’t get past the Em first chord exercise could barely tune my guitar. Guitar tuna on my iPhone next to my ipad was able to pick up everything.

Pestered into it. First off, congratulations UC, you have gotten me to write this review. Each day the splash screen interrupting my lesson begging for reviews has annoyed me enough to hope that doing this will make it stop. (If it doesn't, I will cancel my subscription.) So, with that said. I think this is a pretty good app and the paid content is worthwhile. I haven't played guitar for 15 years and within a few weeks I have learned and play chords that I never thought possible even when I was at my most capable before. The note recognition is good (using an electric with connector), though I feel the lessons are too generous sometimes when I don't play a note correctly. This compounds on the strumming lessons where it gives you specific chords to play, but as long as you play anything at all you will pass. The warmup and practice sessions pull out material that is way more complicated than what the lessons I'm going through are offering. Occasionally, it's more difficult than I can play at the moment so I can't complete the exercise - which for a warm up is a pretty bad start to your practice time. However, I am pleased with the app and lessons, even taking account the quirks.

Deleted Uberchord after 3 minutes. After the first time signing up, the first lesson is tuning. There is a tuner that uses a graphic of the strings and arrows show which direction, up or down, tighten or loosen the string and a moving tick line that indicates sharp or flat. The mic picks up the sound. The problem is the tuner does not wait until the string is tune accurately and skips to the next higher string. Something as basic as that should work flawlessly not just because they they put it right up front in your face the first time you use their app, but because it is a foreshadowing of problems to come. Now I will retune my guitar with my Korg, or Polytone. But I was interested in the app. Uberchord, needs to work the problem.

Amazing when it actually works.. I have loved this app and almost thought it was too good to be true. Paid $70 for the year and now I can’t get through a single practice because the exercises refuse to pick up what I’m playing. I can play a perfectly tuned A chord and I’m setback or stuck for “not playing it right.” When it all works it’s amazing how it can really help push you. Right now I just want my money back because I’m “playing wrong” apparently. Using an 12 pro Max. No mic issues.

Helps me learn to play without looking. Just on the free version for now. Want to train myself not to look at fretboard. This helps because I don’t have to turn my head to verify I’m playing a note or chord correctly. Obviously I’m a beginner. With experience I hope to be able to do this by ear but in the meantime this helps.

Excellent for my beginner self!. I started playing guitar about 2 years ago and i was horrible at practicing regularly. For a variety of reasons i just sucked at it. Uberchord was just what i needed and since Christmas i think I’ve made a lot of progress in very little time. I sound like a commercial. I think you are the only paid product i have ever bought! Great stuff, keep it up, I’m at almost 100 pics now!!!! You have to earn pics in the various exercises to open up more advanced exercises. Great visualization with finger numbers on strings & frets. You can also slow down drills which is key when i hit a hard one. The simple discipline of practice i needed of going between two chords, or more as i progress is what was missing from my lesson to lesson. Even at 5 stars this is under rated! Get started with the free parts and for me it was simple to buy it as i progressed and was for once excited to move forward. My set up for this is: Telecaster, cable to an iRig, iRig to iPad... iRig to Amp. I use an external Bluetooth speaker for output from the iPad (or iPhone) but use the mic in from the irig. So i had to buy a 2nd cable and iRig, but it can work with out that. Over Xmas i actually just went guitar to irig to iPad since i was at my in-laws. Also the chord finder is pretty cool as well.

It’s great! Can use some added features (maybe I’m just dumb, though.). So I very much enjoy the app, I have been using it for only two days, but it keeps me motivated and pushes me to keep trying to learn something despite tender fingertips. I plan on purchasing a subscription for the app, but I wish it had two added features. 1. A legend somewhere in the app where you can acess the meanings of different symbols, I know the downstroke “U” sorta thing, but there’s a “V” symbol that I don’t know. I am sure that there’s various other symbols I will encounter and not understand. Keep in mind I am a new guitar player. 2. A sort of icon that you could press that goes over the instructions of the selected lesson. Other types of programs (not guitar related) have a sort of “i” up in the top corner or so, often ecliped in a circle. Having the aid of a refreshed instructions guide would be immensely helpful. There’s a certain lesson where I don’t know if I should keep strumming or not, and if I had that I would understand, or if I simply had better brain cells... Thank you, if you all read this and find any helpfulness from my review. I am sure to find some more great things about this app.

Provides a good structure to learn chords. Really like this application as it gives me a good learning structure (never taken lessons) to learn guitar chords. The app forces me to play the correct tempo, is a wicked task master for correct fingering, and is very intuitive. Only downside is the program “hears” every little mistake better than the human ear. Some chords, particularly barre chords, can be frustratingly difficult to play to UberChords satisfaction. Overall, in the absence of a guitar teacher, this is an excellent way to learn and measure your progress. I recommend this app

Newb, but having fun. I’m brand new to guitar. Figured the quarantine was better spent learning a new skill rather than just sitting around. The exercises so far have been easy and as long as I’m honest about whether I really nailed an exercise, nothing is ahead of my pace. I do wish there was more instruction on hand placement and finger placement, I had to look at outside sources to fix my left hand position but beyond that this has been a great app so far.

So far so good. It's definitely challenging me and my pacing. I've only used it for a little while and it's already pushed me to play without looking at the guitar. I've already had much more success with it and remembering fingering than I've ever had in the last few years of having my guitar.

Really great use of technology. I am just starting to learn guitar taking lessons and need a structured practice system Tried the demo and decided to subscribe and am so impressed and glad I did I am using the cord from Rocksmith and so far it works on my iPad. You have to use the camera doggle to plug in to the iPad Eventually going to get a irig for the other features So far mostly all chords are recognized but occasionally it has me replay the chords maybe Operator Errors:) I did find that Re-Tune helped recognizing my chords Thanks Developers great program and appreciate your time

UPDATE: Feedback Is Key. I have been using the app for a month now and if you are like me and want to know how you are doing with something you are learning, this is the app for you. I took some group lessons which was a big help, but this program has really upped my desire to practice which is the key to getting better at pretty much anything. Whatever gets your axe in your hands will help you get to where you want to be. I look forward to playing with this app and that is saying something if you knew me. Thanks to the developers. UPDATE: I am now using a Rockband microphone with the apple camera adaptor and i think it helps with chord recognition issue.

Frustratingly bad. You can’t back out of anything if you’re accidentally tap it. (There’s no back button or X button). You can’t look at anything without physically playing it on your guitar. (It will yell at you that it can’t hear you.) Update: Reply to the offensive Developer Reply: There is no pause button. Perhaps that’s a bug. But in general, the UI and UX are still pretty bad. I used it with my guitar yesterday, or attempted to. The note recognition is quite cool, but the UX is the worst of any app I’ve used. I’m a certified music teacher, have used thousands of apps, (over 370 on my phone right now) and I’d never recommend this to a student if I can’t even make it work myself.

Great for beginners who dont want to pay for experience. I have not paid anything on this app as of right now and I went from a guy with no experience to a guy that can strum many a chord at a campfire. Daily warm ups are very useful!

Lost legacy paths(FIXED). I’ve had uberchord since the very first updates and was a very faithful user for quite some time. Although I had stopped before the new subscription plan had come out I was still happy to know that uberchord would let me use the old legacy paths and that I could return to finish them if I wanted. However after going on the app recently, I was very disappointed to see that these legacy paths had been removed from the app completely. I would sincerely appreciate it if I could get access to these paths again and would continue my use of uberchord if that happened Edit: I don’t know what happened but after logging into the app again after three days the old legacy courses were back. Thanks uberchord very much for creating such a quality app for guitar!

Great for getting into guitar. It’s free it’s easy and there’s no ads or membership you just need an account and I’m just beginning and it’s really easy to start. I just hope you don’t need to pay for a membership

actually keeps my attention. I’ve been trying to learn guitar for years and have tried lots of apps and books and lessons etc but this app is actually keeping my attention which is not an easy task. i’ve been practicing until my fingers can’t go on, everyday since i discovered it!

Uberchord Guitar Lessons. I am a 52 year old first timer to playing electric guitar. While I was trying to look for ways to learn, I came to realize I would want a very structured yet economical and on demand system. Uberchord has been good to me last 4 months. I am almost past “Beginner” and just started playing easy songs that comes with the program. PS. Apology to Ann Lennox for butchering her Sweet Dreams”. Will get better someday.

Former violin & violist. Fantastic app for someone like me with a strong classical music background who is new to guitar. Getting my brain and hand to have an intelligent conversation with 6-strings instead of 4 always made me feel like I'd had a stroke until I discovered Uberchord. So soooo appreciate the deliberate and purposeful drills. I'm becoming more skillful every day. It's fun, rewarding and intelligent instruction!

Disappointing. I had high expectations but the app does not even hear my guitar correctly. I can play a chord correct and it will make me play it over and over again cause it thinks it’s wrong. Or it will tell me to stop playing a note on one string when I’m not even touching that string. The exercises are lame and it is not applicable to real songs. Maybe if you get further up you will start to learn more but there are better apps out there than this.

First Day!. My first practice today I practiced for 25 minutes and I am totally amazed, I just love the opportunity to try something I have never done before. I'm looking forward to learning the guitar, it's only taken me 50 plus years to finally commit... thanks Uberchord! Can't wait for my next lesson, played until my fingers could take no more.

Extremely satisfied. Been using the app for a total of about 5 months, and can confidently say that I am a better guitar player than some of my friends that have played for years. When I play in front of people, they usually ask me how I learned so quickly and I show them this app.

So impressed. I’ve taken the 7 day trial and find Uberchord to be extraordinary! It has brought me from true beginner to something more. It’s gamification interface motivates me to practice longer and harder to get the chords right and on tempo. I can’t live without this app,👍

Best free guitar app I have found!🎸. This guitar app has by far offered the best training exercises and feedback while learning to play. I have really been able to advance quickly with its user friendly exercises and free instruction in part. I wish there was more free exercises, but it is definitely better than others out there. Easy to learn with and love that it gives you feedback! Well done, Uberchord!🥇

No Better Than This. Forget other chord dictionaries. This is the ultimate. Also, instantly know what chords you are playing regardless of what fingering you do. Great for songwriters. Helps you to stop relying on the same old chords. Lots of great guitar lessons too. This is a new kind of app. It is useful, not just another guitar app. Not another like it.

Very pleased!. I’ve played classical guitar (nylon strings) for years in the classic style (footstool, reading notes, etc), but never really learned how to strum, play chord patterns and develop right hand rhythm. I am happy to report that I am really encouraged by my progress through these exercises. I’ve learned maybe 10 chords now, played through a few songs on the app and have greatly improved my right hand function, not to mention my confidence! These skills are a wonderful and welcome addition to my guitar experience!

Awesome!. I just started learning acoustic guitar and in about a week and half I have learned about 7 chords and can play slowly. I like the fact it corrects you if you strum incorrectly and makes you do it again. I went ahead and paid for the monthly plan as it teaches you more chords. It has a built in tuner and assists you in tuning your guitar. It also has songs you can play to as well. It grades your performance and tells you how well you have progressed. Overall I am pleased. I still will reinforce lessons with an instructor.

It Works. This app is absolutely phenomenal. I had never pocked up a guitar in my life. Im now 42 and learning to play. Ive been using this app for 2 months now and have learned so much. My family and I have noticed the progress and its all thanks to uberchord. This app is easy to use and teaches you in a way thats fun and works through progression and repetition without being annoying. I am not following along with songs. Learning new songs and loving every minute of it. The app is affordable for what it does and os worth every penny. Thank you for creating this app. Looking forward to making it to the very end and learning as many songs as possible from the library.

A beginner’s dream come true!!!. Simple, straight forward, friendly, patient, dummy proof. If you have struggled with a guitar before, struggle no more. Uberchord is the app for you! In a few minutes it will take you from zero to play familiar sounding songs. Almost like magic!!!

Can't Detect Correct Notes. I wouldn't pay to upgrade until the app can correctly detect notes. For the past 2 months I've tried using the app - it just sits there telling me to play a G - while I'm playing a G - nothing ever happens - just sits there. The tuner part of the app works but not the teaching part. Doesn't matter if I'm using an Acoustic or Electric the app just sits there. Have no problems with Yousician or Fender. All of my third party tuners detect just fine. So clearly Uberchord is the problem.

Pretty good. It’s a good app for learning the basics and it makes you drill and drill until your basic skills become polished. I’m still st the beginning, but I will keep at it. I am already experienced at playing, but I always like to keep learning. As my parents once told me this joke, I think of this app: Tourist in Manhattan, New York: Pardon me, sir, if you could help me, how do I get to Carnegie Hall New York native: Practice, man, practice!

Very nice, but wish it was for Native iPad. This is a very good app. It is very good at sensing what you are playing and getting the accuracy right, almost too accurate at times! :) I love the app and only wish it was developed to leverage the IPad screen real estate. Using it on my IPad would be much more enjoyable if that were the case, but overall, it's good and my fingers are still getting sore! Update: This app is amazing for the iPhone and worth every penny. I initially had a lower rating due to the lack of support for the iPad screen real-estate, but they advertise its iPhone only so I upgraded my review! Great application!

Lot of fun!. I never wrote any review but this app really is amazing it just feels like the teacher who can understand where I am and adjust. I have a lot of fun and like the fact you can quickly play on backing tracks. Great stuff!

Fantastic. I’d been using another learn-to-play-guitar app for a while, but became increasingly frustrated with its hit-or-miss feedback system. Uberchord’s feedback system, by contrast, is extremely accurate, and their overall system (using real songs - instead of silly toy songs - as the basis for learning chords and rhythm) provides excellent motivation and makes me want to play more and better. I experienced a small problem with the app and used the in-app feedback to submit a bug report, and they fixed it within 24 hours, without requiring a new download. That kind of turnaround means the app is well-designed and that the developers are proud of their work. As they should be.

No support option available, says your not playing the chord correctly even when you are. This app has a decent tutorial to get you started and convince you to spend your money, but a horrible mic for reading chords. I thought it was just me being the beginner that I am playing the notes wrong even though I am following the exact instructions on how to play a chord. Turns out my frustrations were real. I had a music teacher come over so i showed him the app. He had similar difficulties (not as bad as me I’ll admit), but when you play a chord the app doesn’t read it properly. This can leave you stuck on a particular level and frustrate you out of your mind. I am now out of the two week period to get my money back and I just learned that it’s not me, it’s the app. Anyway, still not sure how I would contact support as there is no option in the app. Maybe this review will entice them to make it easily available or at the very least to contact me. I would not recommend this app to any beginning to learn guitar

Nice interface but poor performance. I really really want to like this product. The interface is beautiful and the mechanics are very nice and intuitive, optimized to be used in the small iPhone screen. However, the note recognition system appears to be lacking... I registered for the 7 day trial and was considering continuing to use the app later on but decided to cancel my subscription because of this. Often the app does not recognize the chord (believe me, I know it was impecable) and causes you to continue in the same level for ages... making the experience frustrating rather than fun. A side note is that this app should really have a proper iPad port... The app definitely has potential but feels incomplete. Specially given the price they ask for it. It is more expensive than Yousician which is a far more mature app. I look forward to try this app again in the future. I’m sure it will be among the best

Awesome way to learn guitar!. Wow! This app is incredible. I have been playing for about a week & I can already strum chords that sound recognizable. This is a game changer for me. Totally addictive & makes learning fun! My only regret is that I didn’t buy this app sooner! Thanks!

Great idea but flawed execution. I really like the idea of getting feedback on chords and rhythms while playing. However, The app does not always recognize when something is being played correctly. It gets stuck on repeatedly showing the same cord, and indicating a mistake. It is quite frustrating! I plan to try it a couple of more days to see if the app learns. Otherwise, it will be unusable.

Definitely recommend.. This app actually motivates me to practice everyday. I feel like it starts you off with a good foundation and builds from there. I’m already feeling comfortable. I feel like this app will actually allow me to stick with it and learn guitar.

Do NOT get yousician! DO get Uberchord.. They are very similar but Yousician will charge you for a full year if you don’t cancel the free trial. I feel that is shady as it gets, only the worst scam companies do that to people. They seem fraudulent. After my year subscription charge, I figured I’d make the best of it but then they terminated the feature for users to submit their own songs. They also removed the majority of their premium songs to an even more premium subscription. Do not support them. You can get a similar style of learning with Uberchord. They have a better price. And my experience with costumer service has been exceptional. They actually communicate with you like s person and not a money grabbing robot that says , too bad.

Definitely recommend. I have been trying to teach myself to play the guitar for about 6 months. I tried several different apps but this is the only one that actually taught me not only the chords but strumming and rhythm.

Real simple. This app is really simple and easy to use and is taught me so much already.

Awesome. I've just started guitar and it is what I'm looking for... A progressive style of learning that's fun kinda like a game!

Solid practice tool.. Adds a new element to my daily practice. Exposing me to some chords I may not use regularly. Program does not always pick up your errors but in the most it does pretty well. Would recommend to beginners.

Amazing. Truly amazing app Thanks guys

Good. Good app

Disappointed. I read the reviews and the screenshots looked good. However it’s impossible to try the app out and look at the features without doing a bunch of beginner exercises to earn “picks” to unlock features like play along. Really painful in a paid app. Your gamification is really a blocker on so many levels. Unsubscribed and now uninstalling.

First time playing guitar. On my second lesson, finding the lessons and UI is great ! Easy to use and very precise. Would highly recommend

Not a easy to use app. Very clunky to use. It’s like playing a computer game and you’re forced to sit through the start videos that have nothing to do with the game and only the lame story line. Getting into the app, right after the clunky starting with it. You’re thrusted into paying for the app. No warm welcome at all. That’s just how I feel with it.

Confusing. Really confusing

Good app. Easy to use

Cool App. Liking this app so far- very finely tuned to pick up how you are playing and pinpoint what's going wrong. Forces you to practice chord changes until they become fluid.

Amazing German engineering. Takes a little while to get used to the first week particularly with an acoustic. And the instruction isn’t obvious but makes sense when you stick to it

Awesome. Once you get your guitar setup properly with this app it’s great. I’ve used it with GarageBand and ToneBridge through iRig HD 2 and its awesome. Really good lesson plans/structure and songs in the app. I’d highly rate this for anyone who wants to learn guitar online, much better than sites like Guitar Licks etc. This is real progress.

Wont tune. Not very good wont tune correctly

Easy and Very Enjoyable. Got this app about 3 weeks ago and I can say I’m happy about my progress! The app is very easy and very enjoyable to use.

Great motivation. Such a different approach to teaching. I've found Uberchord fresh and enjoyable and it's lifted me out of a rut. Love the structure and quality of the app.

Addictive. Even for someone who has played for years this app takes you back to the fundamentals that we sometimes neglect or even forget. I was doing the exercises and was getting annoyed but wanted to keep going lol. Love this app

Uberchord. Loved this app so much and I’m learning so fast!

Help. New update and now the app doesn't work with the microphone in my phone.

This app is incredible. Came to learn interesting chord progressions, stayed for the well designed feel of the app and its motivational features

Amazing. Fantastic and so very enjoyable to use

Rubbish. Don't bother if you are a beginner. I started with an out of tune guitar. Followed the prompts with the app on my lap next to the guitar in a quiet house. Started the tuning process and 5 minutes later I've got a broken string. Small 1/4 turns and then retest. Not happy.

Enjoying this app. Great app that introduces the basics and interacts nicely

Joe Amendola. Very good the best way to learn how to play guitar

So far so good. A great app to dust of the cobwebs. Haven't picked a guitar up in over 10 years but quickly starting to where I was before. I may even get a subscription if it continues to be this good

Excellent and fun way to learn chords and rhythm. While this not my number one practice tool, it is the go to if you want to learn chords and rhythms. The chord recognition is very strong and pathways are easy to follow. There is also plenty on offer free of cost before you progress and justify the subscription fee.

Feels like I learn everytime I use Uberchord. Have been searching for an app to help me though learning the guitar. This app has been awesome.

Real practical exercises. I feel like I am actually learning. The exercises are no different to any of the paper workbooks I have used in the past. Hard marker demands you practice, there is no faking it

Good. This is a good app for learning guitar if you are a beginner, and it's easy to use.

Great app!. A great app for those starting out on guitar or those who haven't picked one up in a while. The interface is easy to use, Te chords are explained VERY clearly and it seems quite well-tuned to the sounds of your guitar. Te only real frustrations are the oversensitivity of the microphone (it picks up errors that the ear can't!) and the fact that it keeps going with the same "impossible" chords - the ones you can't get right - until you start screaming at it in frustration. Or I do, anyway. It would be great if it could recognise that you're not getting it, move on and come back later. Otherwise, though, I love it!

Amazed. I did not expect such quality instruction material. Very very happy with this app

Fun and easy. I'm really enjoying the lessons and feel like I'm making progress very quickly

Uberchord. Excellent interactive trainer.easy to use and understand. I use my irig with it No dramas👍

Fantastic. Just perfect to learn guitar!!! Thanks!

Great. It's a great way to learn the chords. The tuning mechanism can sometimes be inconsistent.

Fantastic app, great customer service. I never thought I could learn chords so quick. The website has lots of tips to start well too, and customer service was amazing. Even though the app is free. Incredible. Like duolingo for guitar.

Awesome App!!!!👍🏼. Definitely worth downloading

Fabuleux!. Étant guitariste amateur je recommande cette applis à tout les débutants, du plus jeune au plus vieux!!! Enjoy.

Good. Good

Because you won’t stop asking. Lots of work left to be done. First and for most, why must you constantly ask me to write a review? Maybe ask once or twice, but no... you are relentless. Apparently you can’t pay and use this app without reviewing it. There is definitely some good stuff here , but it does not flow smoothly from one lesson to the next. I find that sometimes it jumps in skill level to fast and becomes frustrating to use , and causes me to “cheat” my way past some spots. Goes from decent chord change speed to “no way I can accomplish that at my skill level. The app has the ability to track my stats , thus giving it the opportunity to personalize my path through the lesson. Instead it is very generic, and disappointing. Will be canceling my subscription.

Uberchord Review. 5 Stars all the way. It's like having an experienced coach with you 24/7. The exercises promote agility, finger strength and control and are put together in a way so you can make gradual but noticeable gains in your playing. I've been using Uberchord almost daily for a few months now and my playing is twice as solid as when I started. Highly recommend for anyone serious about seeing improvements in their playing.

Fantastic way to learn chords. I struggled with other learn to play apps. Great for picking, but I really struggled to learn chords. This app really opened the door for my learning. I'm much more confident in my ability to pay chords, and I've doubled my learning time with this app. I find the premium price a bit pricey, but I will end pay for it. It's helped me out tremendously. Can't recommend this app enough.

Good so far. Just started today. Seems good

Keeps me on track!. Great app. Sends reminders for practice time. Listens to cords your playing and won't advance until you play it right.

Wow. Great app

Click bait. It can’t Recognize cord

Great!!!. Pretty cool to have an interactive app with instant feedback. It keeps you more motivated than trying to learn with videos. (Don’t get me wrong, videos are good to learn also but can be difficult for beginners).

Just started...... Just started today. Looks good so far. I didn't really understand some things it was asking for and a bit of clarification on "muted" or "x" strings would've been nice. But I think I'll give it a go. Also, I live in Canada and I wish it had option to pay in Canadian $. That's why I only gave 4 stars

Amazing App. My most favorite guitar app. Very easy to use and is extremely intuitive. Just a dream, thank you!!!

Decent Start. First day with the app: tuner works well and the exercises are good. I wish the instructions for each exercise were clearer, right now I kind of fumble through trying to figure out what I'm supposed to be doing with the timed ones. Also some of the time it doesn't correctly recognize my fingering and says I'm on the wrong fret when I'm not. Hopefully it'll get better as I get used to the app.

Guitar beginner. This app is helping learn the basics

Easy to learn and follow along. Good app. Easy to use and learn guitar

Amazing App. Easy to use and learn. One of the best app on learning how to play guitar. I really enjoy it.

Who needs to pay for lessons!!. This is great for learning chords and practicing in between any lessons you may have. If you want to be extra annoyed by your Apple Watch it will remind you how little you are practicing:) but seriously. Really really great app.

Decent. Pretty much Yousicion without the greasy you need a credit card just for a free trail bs

Can be super frustrating. I have challenges where it won’t recognize the chords I am playing consistently and so it’s hard to get in a groove. Doubly frustrating when I am in a exercise that won’t let me advance under a certain level of performance - which causes me to get stuck in the exercise - like my chords are good and consistent but the app is only recognizing half of them. I’m playing an acoustic guitar, tune it up every time I sit down to play and practicing with an iPad Pro. Seems to be some sort of hardware or software problem, I’m not sure which one.

Great I can start learning from nowhere I know my self level.. My learning experience is great!

Uberchord. I really like the app. It allows me to learn to play guitar from scratch at my own pace👍🏻

Great. Great little chord app that actually teaches you

Helpful and educational. Uberchord has made it easier to quickly chart a tune involving unfamiliar cord forms and by doing so has made it easier for me to recall those new chord forms the next time I need to use them.

Great left hand practice. Great left hand practice, but not much for the strumming hand. Either way, it's structured decently for those who'd like to learn chords.

Terrible app. After spending 10 minutes trying to get the app to here my guitar the app then untuned it and told me i was playing wrong i then got my brother who is a guitar lesson instructor to try and even he was doing it "wrong"

Amazing!!!. I picked up the guitar 2 years ago and I have had lesson from private classes, but I have learnt more from the app then any class. It is like having your own private teacher at home. This app is fantastic for practicing cord changes and learning to get a clear sound. I also like how you can not advance in the program until you get it right! It is also cool how you can set reminder to practice. Great job! And the UI is beautiful!

Needs an account. You need to create an account just to try it. App has been deleted.

Waste of time. You’d be better off learning it by ear, you’ll spend the majority of the time closing ads. Don’t download.

Never an excuse not to practice. I have been playing for 9 months now and one of the things I struggled with was what to practice. I often just picked up the guitar and played around. With UC that has all changed I follow a defined practice schedule of lessons and if I have 5 mins I do the warm up. I find I have been playing a lot more and improving because of it. I think they could have a few more instructional videos. It would have saved me some trial and error. All in all, well worth the money and an excellent tool to help you learn the guitar.

Great. Amazing app. This is so great for learning how to play as a beginner. The chord finder is a great feature and the leading path isn't too fast. Perfect!

So Far So Good. Really liking the app so far. The chord recognition is awesome.

Finally I can play. So fun to play guitar!

Amaze balls. I actually love this app. Best guitar teacher ever

Wrong detection iPhone 12 Pro Max. Not new to the guitar was hoping to find an app that could detect my guitar. It can’t recognize a couple to chords even though they are being played. Very frustrating experience.

Great App!!. Using this app as an intermediate-advanced player as a review and teaching tool has really proven beneficial. Definitely worth the subscription.

Awesome. First app where it feels like real progress is being made. Highly recommended

Very bad. The app mic fails to recognize chords correctly no matter how carefully I play each string. Particularly the G/D chord, possibly the easiest to play of all. Their doesn’t appear to be any Support, Help or FAQ to refer to. I’ve played guitar for years and was interested in a tutorial app to encourage me to start playing again. This is not it.

Great for beginners. I just started playing not even a day ago an this app has me well in my way it keeps u interested with chord mastery and exp levels an also gives u the feel of a teacher with its real time listening all around great app cheap as well anyone can try

Beginner. I enjoy Uber chord. I had never picked up a guitar before and this app had made it very easy and enjoyable for me to learn. I do have problems with the app saying I’m strumming even if I don’t touch the guitar. This does become frustrating at times. Other than that I love the app and would highly recommend it.

Love it!. Awesome for beginners!!!🙌🏻

Trash. This app is actually trash. It doesn’t register sound correctly, it forces you to spend 30 minutes on tuning and it doesn’t say your using the right chord even if you are. It’s really annoying and crappy

Amazing App. Simple and intuitive, this app teaches you as if you were in a class.

Wonderful!. Great app for beginning guitar players!

Great. Great app

I love it. I was currently using another app to learn guitar but it doesn't tell you where your finger is when you are making a mistake just marks the note as wrong. This app tells you where you are making a mistake which is great

Great. Great app.

Great app. Fantastic app... easy too use...started playing guitar 1 hour ago!

It's great!. I only tried the trial version but I am going to subscribe. It's easy to learn and it guides you step by step.

It’s not just a mic issue. This app looks great and I was excited to own it, however, it flat out doesn’t work. I have tried the natural mic of my 2020 iPad Pro and the iRig plugin and the app simply can’t understand the notes. I don’t know where to go at this point except to delete and keep using Yousician.

Gentle Introduction and Great Content. I’m a complete guitar beginner, and this app has helped me go from the basics of playing chords to being able to comfortably strum the chords to several songs with varying rhythm patterns. The pacing of the lessons is very good, and the instant feedback is invaluable.

The only one that is working for me. This is an amazing app! I love it, it's so easy to use! It's the only guitar app that I have come across that actually works for me. If you are looking for a good app to start, this one is the one to get!

So easy to learn bite by bite. It’s like guitar hero but with a real guitar. I started out knowing nothing and this make practice time really easy.

A ton of help. I just started to learn playing guitar and this app helps you learn some basic chords at a decent pace, it's really helping me become the musician I would love to someday fully be! Thank you developers

To hard. It was ok but my child keep getting stuck so I tried and it was hard! And am a very good guitar player myself! Make it easier for people please

Wow it's bad. I've been learning guitar for a while and their are some chords I needed to learn. So I choose this app, at first I was kinda excited about but then that turned to disappointment. The main problem is that the app wouldn't pick up my sound it just says I'm playing it wrong. I've tuned my guitar 4 times, I've used amps on many settings, and also I've used different guitars like electric, acoustic, and hallow body. But it didn't work.

They Guilted Me Into Writing This Review!. Never played guitar (or any instrument) as a kid but always wanted to. Bought a guitar in a pawn shop, researched learning apps after trying to use Garage Band, and here we are! Super-easy learning techniques, and it’s a lot of fun. Only have the free version, but it works great for me! Definitely recommend

Angel. Helps with everything from tuning to learning new chords.

Great if you need a structure for practicing. I downloaded this app thinking it would better add to my structure in practicing and so far I have to say it does great.

Uber Chord is the best teacher I've had.. I love Uber Chord...It shows me every detail about what I'm doing wrong or doing right.

Awesome. I really enjoy this app. As a beginner it had never been so easy to start pickung up on chords

Great way to learn how to play. Instant feedback back is so helpful!

Superb chord app. This app has taken my chord knowledge to the next level. The learning path is great for beginners but the real meat of the app is the daily chord trainer. Get this app, you'll love it!

Found a problem when I open it. I keep trying to log back in but every time I do nothing work. Try to hook it up to my Twitter. Nothing. Tried to hook it up to my e-mail. Again. Nothing. Not even Facebook, the site you don’t wanna join. Just my day T-T.

Great beginner lessons. Just learning to play and this was a big help for chord changes

Guitar playing. I love this site, especially the chord chart. It shows extended versions all over the neck. Really opens up your chord catelog

Love. Love. Love.. This app has helped me come so far and learn so much! Literally the best thing ever for learning guitar!

Great app. Stoked to pick up my guitar and use Uberchord! I can see major progression in my playing. 🙌🏻🤙

Complete trash. I had really high hopes for this app, and they were completely shut down. Once it started making me tune it, it didnt work at all. It almost made my break a string because i was tightening it so much. Once i tuned it (using a different app) I went back and it finally started working. Then during the first lesson it wasnt hearing my chords correctly at all. It kept telling me i was pushing frets where i wasnt. I know for a fact i wasnt doing it wrong. Every time i strummed it told me to stop pushing the wrong frets even though i wasnt pushing them. They were also different every time?? How can the same sound mean im pressing different frets? I might try again later, but as of now it was awful.

New Player. This the best teaching app I have found so far. It very intuitive.

Good stuff!. 0 previous experience, just finished 2nd lesson, so far so good! Had trouble tuning at first, but using a 40+ year old guitar, so that might be the problem. Have had a couple other technical issues with it, but again, could be guitar. Very happy so far

Okay for beginners, super buggy. Isn’t keeping track of time correctly, often says you strum when you haven’t/ haven’t strummed when you have. Pretty cool otherwise, good for learning chords, but the bugs can be very irritating

Amazing 😉. Awesome I have tried other apps and this one is the best I have tried. This is the only one that tells me where my fingers go and what the note is called.😊😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃

Keeps me interested. Picked up a guitar a week ago. Know a few chords now and can switch between them fairly well. Not 100% which is my goal before I move on to the next skill. Blaming it on my sore A.F. fingertips

Super motivating!. I’ve been getting in so much more practice. Very cool and fun app. The way the app shows how you are making a mistake is great. It can tell which sting/s your fingering is off. Pretty amazing!

I tried 10 apps and this is fantastic. I’m so much more focused with practice and having 100 percent more fun.

So Far So Good. Only been at it for a short time but I feel like I’m learning, my fingers are killing me, but I believe that is a rite of passage I’m happy I purchased this app I think it will be helpful

Great App. I enjoy this app very much it’s what I’ve been looking for mainly the chord section can communicate with other musicians when it comes to given them the chords to a song I’m working on. Great teaching app keep up the good work.

A minor not working. It’s a good app but when I play the a minor chord correctly it still counts it as wrong for some reason

I love it.. It took me 10 minutes and Uber chord had me switching between three different chords in succession.

Horrible app!. Guitar tuner doesn’t even work. Lessons have no explanation whatsoever, and not even some hints as to what you’re meant to do! Deleted and went back to Yousician app which I ended up purchasing. That app tuner actually works, I used it to tune my guitar and give this app another chance.......fail!

Does not work right. First thing opening app, it wants to make you tune guitar, so i did what it said and the end product was my guitar being extremely out of tune. The whole using the mic on my ipad thing is a complete fail. Waste of my time.

Fantastic. Fantastic app! I am really enjoying it and will continue to be committed to learning and practicing the guitar!

My Fingers Hate Me!!!!!!!. I cant wait to come home and play. My wife says she is impressed at how well i sound already.

Good but could use some improvements.. This is a great app to learn on and I feel like it is helping me a lot I just wish they had more songs to learn

It’s a fun app with loads of lessons.. I’m having an amazing time with Uberchord the best thing about it is the versatility, which allows you to chose pace and rhythm and so much more!

Great. Overall this app is amazing and very intuitive. The feedback system is cruelly correct in that you cannot progress until you’ve done the exercise correctly. Well done.

This app is great, you won’t regret using this. What a great way for beginners to learn how to play the guitar. This app provides structure and feedback to practice sessions for those of us who haven’t the time or money to take formal lessons with a teacher.

Great guitar learning app. Been using a couple days an feel like this one has a lot to offer an easy to learn an work with. For free hard to beat.

Eh. Great concept, unfortunately the app has trouble picking up certain notes (after tuning), and the lessons don’t proceed until after you’ve hit the correct notes

Love! Improved so fast! But.... Absolutely love this app, I’m already having gigs and jamming with experienced artist! But... Is the app ever going to be optimized for bass as well as guitar? In addition to that, is there a way to start incorporate scales and soloing patterns? Thanks again Uberchord team!!

My Uberchord review. I would recommend this app for everyone it’s helping me learn guitar with very good results this app has been great with helping me play guitar and I cannot stress enough how much I recommend it.

Lots of audio recognition issues. You can only get so far before the app will stop recognizing the notes/chords you play. Support is unhelpful; they’ll just suggest you try using another guitar or another phone, so if you don’t have access to either, you’re out of luck.

Outstanding free version. invaluable app with lots of free functionality. thanks uberchord for your help learning the guitar and learning some music theory techniques as well! really precise tuner as well.

Almost. So I am using iPhone XS and Uberchord app has a problem recognizing G/D. Uberchord is hearing and correcting me on the other chords just fine but G/D is hanging it up and slowing me down on my progress.

Good exercises!. I take lessons once a week, but this app has been a great supplement...I feel like I’m making better/faster gains since using it. A few snafus but overall a fun (& yet challenging) way to improve guitar skills!

Awesome app but there’s a bug I noticed. This app is awesome to learn new chords and chord voicings but the keyboard when searching for chords is very buggy

Problems in initial setup so I gave up.. Initial setup includes tuning your guitar. I get to the G string. One pluck and it says I’m flat. A second and it says I’m sharp with no change in string tension in between. I tried increasing and decreasing volume on my amp to no avail. I finally gave up. Terrible waste of time. By the way, I’ve played musical instruments for 30 years now so I understand the concept of tuning an instrument.
