Worthless for trucks. Worthless if you have a placarded truck and just as worthless for guiding you down streets where trucks are allowed. I also like when you put in an USA address and the next one you type in starts out in Europe, I have not been able to find that highway yet.

Makes my day so much more productive. Sometimes I pick up delivery jobs for a side hustle. This app allows me to pick up the maximum allowed in my time slot and arrange them in a route making me able to deliver all items on time. I feel so organized and efficient!

A real saver. Tried PlaceMaker to help improve my flower deliveries as I was spending too much time and gas trying to optimize my multiple deliveries. Spent 10 minutes inputting my stops and PlaceMaker gave me the optimized delivery sequence. I then used Apple Maps to find the best route to the optimized delivery order from PlaceMaker. What an improvement. Highly recommend.

Good app. I use this app to plan my delivery and pick up routes as a courier for FedEx. This app helps me learn the area and streets of my route. I love this app. I wish there was a version where you could simply pay a one time fee rather than a monthly occurrence. But it’s to be expected. Great app!

Best trip planner/logger. If you’re planning a trip or adventure this app is perfect for a lot of things but two it really excels in are, pre-planning and keeping a log/journal of where you went. It is really easy to add/remove/rearrange stops, compare distances, etc. When you get home you have a map/route based log of your trip that can be used to help plan a new trip or just review while you remember all the places you visited/stayed. The menus and general UI can take a little bit of hunting at times but considering the number of features available the UI is done very well.

Best Free Route Planner I’ve found. This is the best free route planner that I’ve found... I don’t alway agree with the routing choices it makes and I haven’t bothered trying the “trial optimization” but most of the time it makes my route much much easier and even when it makes odd choices I like being able to see all my stops on the map and I just click the next stop manually. I wish it allowed me to “name” my stops

Needs easier navigation. I use this app for when I have multiple jobs to go to in a day and have to get there with using my time and gas efficiently. It’s great but I usually have to set up my stops on my own and then just refer back to the app. I also have a hard time figuring out how to save a bunch of stops

Works well. Pretty accurate 93% of the time (rough estimate), You can barcode scan or T scan as well as drop a pin or manual type(w/voice command) and the best feature adding notes or pics to describe your package for easy finding

I’ve used this app every day for years! Love it!. I work for a large utility company going from location to location in a large city and this app is invaluable to me. I use it daily and it helps me work so efficiently! I don’t know what I would do without it.

So helpful!. I started using this app last November/December as a PVD for UPS (Personal Vehicle Driver). The software on their program was not running well for me, if at all. I was able to save so much time using PlaceMaker and it was more accurate and easier to use than Google Maps. They were always 1-4 houses off! Not good when delivering packages at the busiest time of the year. My husband is a feeder driver and this seems like the “Go To” app for accuracy, saving time and money.

Great App. In the world of technology and apps it’s rare that you download something and it works perfect. I have to say I use this app to run my route delivering flowers and it has worked flawlessly from day one I highly recommend it and it may be the best app for running deliveries out there.

Great for a lot of multiple stops. I looked at several apps for our “Drive around America” trip and with 26 planned stops, no one else could offer a way to map it in a single trip. Let’s you pull up your contacts, although I couldn’t get it to interface so I still had to go to the contact (through the link) copy and paste the address to this app in order to map it. I may just have not been doing it correctly either. It was easy to use on my first try. I used it on my iPad and with the map it made it easy to find my next destination and figure out which way I wanted to go. I will say one of he negatives (and again I may not have been doing it right) was that it wouldn’t let me “add a stop” at the end of my list, it put it above the last entry so I had to add a step to move it each time, plus a step to name it on the times I used actual addresses and not landmarks. Overall I am really happy with what I know so far. Definitely keeping this app. Oh and one last thing, I have not upgraded to the premium version.

USPS Rural Carrier’s Review. I used the free version today to deliver my express mail. It was a little confusing to start with. I USUALLY: enter address, deliver, end navigation, enter next address. RINSE & REPEAT. APP: I entered each address / Stop first. Supervisor already had them in numbered order but it was cool to be able to slide each stop before or after another. EXPECTED: I thought it guide me to first stop. I could hit done or complete and it would automatically begin the next. NOPE: Had to end navigation, go back to app, select next stop, it auto switched to Apple Maps, I select GO, Drive, Deliver, End Nav, back to app, and again… rinse & repeat. It continued to nag me with notices about the paid version which I could have selected (don’t show me again) but wanted to look into it further. WANTS: Ability to scan USPS barcode OR address labels where OCR software could quickly convert & create a stop. Ability to mark a stop as complete. Either by app asking me once arrived or by pressing a button. Ability to add how many items are being dropped off or delivered at the same location. Triggered either by manually entering or automatically via scanning a barcode or address multiple times. I often beta test apps and would love to join the Beta program.

Map size changed. Why did you changed the size of the map, I have more than 2 years with paid subscription and app worked fine, now you changed the size of my route map, is useless… need to be fixed.

Great app!. I’m a home inspector for insurance companies, so I travel to 18-30 homes a day. It gets me to and from with much ease. I’ve used other navigation units that gave me nothing but headaches. Even when there’s no service the navigation continues to guide. If you start out with no cell service it will stay in loading mode; however, the app will show your destination pinpointed on the map. It allows you to head in the right direction until service is restored.

Frustrating. I had spent over 8 hours making a road trip for my daughter and I to travel and see potential colleges as well as hit tourist marks like Yellowstone, Glacier, etc. Anyway I was just going over my stops and I swiped something, not sure what I even hit because no warning popped up. EVERYTHING is gone!!!! All my points of interest, all my stops, all my hotels I booked along the way! I even paid for the upgraded version! What a freaking waste of money! Liked the app until this happened. The only reason I used this app was because Google maps doesn’t allow me to save as many waypoints. Guess I’ll try again....😒

Love this app. Downloaded this to help with our delivery routes. We have about 15 deliveries per day and the struggle is getting them into order that’s the quickest way to deliver. This solves own issues and was pretty cheap. You will need pay for subscription but it’s worth it!

Very Good App!. While not written specifically for my trade as a building inspector this app has been a 10+ for not only organizing my inspection route but also providing an inspection record. I make use of all the options! Florida Building Inspector

PlaceMaker makes finding places easier!. I recently took a job as a courier for our local hospital and clinics making in town deliveries. As the route is different everyday, it’s my job to organize my deliveries in the most efficient manner possible. I am impressed with how easy PlaceMaker was to input data, the route optimization and the ease of use!

Great way to plan trips. This is so easy to use. Planning trips with multiple stops and being able to rearrange them easily is great. Much easiest than trying to get the gps to go where you want. Once you map out your trip you can then add to your gps in the order you wish to go.

LS. App works great! Easy to input addresses and routes make sense. Easy connectivity to Waze but when you get near destination the street address doesn’t show up. If I use Waze by itself the address does show. Any solution?

Absolutely love this app. I have 7 different routes with just under 100 stops per route per day made my job so much easier!!! I had to enter all addresses manually one time once I did 4 years later there still there

Love this app!!!. I use the app and optimize program to deliver “family meals” for my wife’s commercial kitchen. We service the entire county, and aren’t always able to follow the exact route planned because of timed deliveries, but it is easy to go from one entry to any address added. I’m learning more about the app every week. I give it 5 stars even though I would like more tutorials. We usually have about 35 deliveries each delivery day. Love it!

Prefer Road Warrior. I find that I have to go to the phone more often than I do with Road Warrior. A planning app should be as hands-free as possible to eliminate distracted driving. Without a perfectly optimized route it is useless to to try and evaluate a product like this. I don’t expect to do unlimited stops on an evaluation version of the app but at least give me full access to the features on a limited basis so that could truly evaluate the product.

Excellent Nav App. Does everything I want on my 25-30 stop routes. Note feature is useful. Optimizes quickly. Doesn’t crash. Easy to use. Adds stops with only one tap. Final stop stays put after optimization. I like it! Thanks developers. Makes my job delivering in unfamiliar territory so much easier.

Great Tool To Have. Been using PlaceMaker now for a couple months and it’s been nothing but a supportive tool to get me to my destinations with ease making my day as efficient as it comes. I would recommend this to anyone who does outside sales, deliveries, or if you just need to make a few stops. PlaceMaker will loop everything in a nice circle for you saving you time.

Ok after you get used to it. So to be fair I'm not a delivery person. Recently I had a bunch of papers to distribute to a local group, not as easy as I thought it would be. After attempting to first use google maps then apple map, I found myself backtracking myself too much. So I tried the apps, this one seemed fairly simple & a bit cool. Sadly they charge extra if you ask the app to help plan the route. So I can only give three stars. The other things I had to get used to were all the pop ups & remembering what to tap, how to tap, along with when, to get the map to open a route in apple maps or google maps. But you get what you pay for especially when it's supposed to be free. No I don't need you to map the route to all my contacts. I already know the way to Grand Ma's.

PlaceMaker, what a Great App. So far this app is very user friendly in setting up multiple stops in large volume, great for sharing. Looking forward to seeing how the actual navigation works but I won’t expect anything less than what I have seen so far, very happy new user to this application.

Perfect for me. This app is perfect for what I do. I visit 5-6 customers per day with varying stop times, and the app allows me to easily create an efficient route. It initially optimizes the route as addresses are entered, then makes it very easy to rearrange stops based on customer needs.

Excellent App!. If you drive & deliver for a living , this is a must have app! The optimizer is the Best available, and I Love the sort by distance feature. The map view works great and allows you to get the deliveries done fast. I’m able to prioritize my stops using the different colors to differentiate each stop. I work for Fedex and the address scanner is amazing! It’s failsafe and copies not only the address but also displays the business name or recipients name, very helpful. Get this app and save yourself both hours & miles during your day, HIGHLY recommended!

100% would recommend for a routing app. I have used this app intensely over the past few months, and it has saved me so much time and hassle from jumbling around paperwork, trying to route spots by memory... this app has really changed the game, and saves so much wasted time. Now, there a few (very) minor stipulations I have about the GUI, and there are a couple of things that would be simpler to have (like a delete all stops option that pops up after checking off most or all stops), but the layout is really easy to learn and is effective with what it does, (you just have to explore the app a bit to know how to set some options), and I will continue to use this app for as long as I have a job that requires me to Map out routes that I have to drive!

Reliable and accurate’. PlaceMaker has saved me a ton of ‘road time’ when I my goal is to as much done in the least amount of time. As long as I put in the correct house number, this app HAS ALWAYS gotten me where I need to be. Invaluable!!

Work. I was assigned a new territory in a new state and needed something to help me group stores next to each other while differentiating the ones with more importance from the others and this app does that and more! Totally worth it!

Needs. There needs to be an update so when your looking at a certain stop it doesn’t shift back suddenly to your location such a pain. Also when in certain areas it puts other locations after so i have to back track sometimes when i was just bear that location.

Easy and Efficient. Just working with it the first day. Had some support from the creators of the app, very helpful. I have 6 trucks and 9 drivers with over 700 regular deliveries weekly. This is easy to enter data into and easy to edit follow and use.

Holiday Delivery Helper. This has been a great tool to help with creating routes for delivery drivers for holiday meals. Fairly easy to use, wish more options were available at lower price but still worth the time saver.

Great Trip Organizer. This app does an amazing job of mapping my travels inclusive of extracting websites, phone numbers and accurate distances. And, I only use the free applications. If I were not old and cheap, I’m sure it would provide me with many additional services And for those of us who had to let go of those trip tiks and adapt to print outs from Mapquest …. Well…. The routes print out nicely.

Best of the best. I am a delivery driver And this app is the best app you can get. I’ve been doing this for eight years This app will make your route a lot easier if you want you can even change the color of the pin points to highlight the stops you want to do first, it is a all in one app

Incredible app makes me look good to my boss. I’ve been using the free version for several months now to deliver pharmacy prescriptions, covering an territory approximately 30 miles in diameter with about 18-25 stops per route, averaging 60-70 miles of driving each shift. I continue to discover helpful features that make my job easier and improve my job performance. I haven’t found a need to upgrade yet, but will certainly do so if the owners hire more drivers who need to share info with each other.

Perfect for deliveries. I’m a florist who makes daily deliveries an this app makes it so much easier. I like that it connects to Apple Maps (though you can connect to pretty much any navigation app) and helps me sort the addresses into some logical order.

Amazing App. Great app for creating routes with lots of stops. Better than Google maps. Most map apps have small limits or fees to get more stops on a route. This app doesn’t have anything like that. There no bugs when adding lots of stops on a route, unlike other apps that I’ve used.

Best routing app out there!. Take my word for it it is top notch and gives you all the back ways to your destination and will reroute you from traffic or an accident if there’s another way

Great Route Planner. 2,500 stops and counting - I will always use this app as a route delivery driver. Plan and simple it keeps you organized. I use the colors green for 1 package stops, yellow for multiple package stops, and red for pickups. The slide left to delete and quick launch map buttons keep my day moving right along. I would like to see a "address lock" button or slide so certain stops don't have to be re-entered daily on any saved list. As well as a color lock feature for addresses. (The favorites aspect is still glitchy.) Not that it's hard after about two weeks with the app all you have to enter is the first 3 digits of an address and it pops up to tap on it for quick insert as long as it's been entered before. It takes me about 20 mins to enter 60+ address. App gets updated nearly weekly, great work developers...God Speed! All the love, light, and blessings for continuing to strive and make my work days easier. Best...

It’s all right, it needs to be better. Pretty glitchy. Anytime you try to move appointments around towards the top or bottom of the screen it gets glitchy. You don’t always know where an address is going to insert. It would be nice if it would insert exactly where you told it to be inserted. also I shouldn’t need to pay for easy simple crap. So I’m just gonna keep using the free version. And the map could use a little work. It constantly wants to show where I am on the map instead of where the customer is.

Good app for delivery people. I used this app on my UPS route and it worked very well. The map shows all the stops and then it can send the location to your preferred mapping app. It is a great tool when working in a new area or covering an other area!

It does what it needs to. For the free version it does what I need it to do and it does more I can edit my planned routes and everything, it’s very simple to use and for me only using the free version it’s got tons of features

Super Useful App!. If you travel to multiple addresses, this app is ideal! Just type in the stops, click 'optimize route', and you see your stops organized on a map. Then with one swipe, it links to a Google map to the destination. I highly recommend this app!

Glitch in the navigation. Several times a day it lead me to an address which cannot be accessed. Because there’s a fence or brick wall closing the house off from the busy street. Other than that this app is the best one I’ve used I highly recommend it.

PlaceMaker is a must for planning your trips. I found PlaceMaker while looking for an easy but comprehensive way to plan my once-in-a-lifetime trip around Australia. It gave me a logical way to figure out the routes, plan stopovers and save me backtracking. If I decided to stay an extra day or move on early it allowed me to simply update that requirement and reschedule all the rest of the trip. Truely fantastic! Recommended.

Great App. I use this 3 times a week for a delivery run from a flower shop and find it great. It’s easy to use and has great options.

Good App but keeps losing subscription. The App itself works well, but every few days it loses the ability to optimise the route because it decides I haven’t subscribed when I have.

Great App. Works like a charm, my job is simple with this app

Waste of time. This app is a waste of time. It kept changing the order of stops and you have to manually resort them after each stop Edit: The solution you just commented solves another problem but not the one I mentioned. It keeps changing the order of the stops every time I arrived at one. -Also, adding a stop is time consuming if the user has more than 50 stops to add so maybe consider ADDING A SHORTCUT BUTTON. - one more feature you could add that beats road warrior(best route maker I have ever tried so far): * make a list of all stops showing the order they were entered and the order they will be arranged after route optimization. - final development point is to allow the client to add a note as they create a new stop instead of finalizing it immediately and then trying to modify it. If you ever need beta testers just add me to the list and will provide feedback free of charge

Best app ever. Best route planning app in the world. Excellent features. I use it for my delivery job. Couldn’t imagine working without it.

Best app ever. This is the best app since sliced bread. You can reverse your routes to hit missed customers first. You can save all your customers and put notes in them like closing times. I would recommend this app to anyone.

I use this app everyday. Compared to the other delivery apps, this one is by far my favourite (at almost 8,000 addresses it's taken me to). Been using this for 6 months now, and have have had little to no problems. Great customer support too, all my emails were answered very fast

Very pleased.. If you are looking for a cost effective app to help maximize your timing and efficiency, this app is for you. I’ve used two others and this is by far my favourite. It is a simple and effective. I am still in the learning stages but I am thrilled with the results so far. Adding stops and the integration with google maps is seamless. This is important when your routes are constantly changing and your time is limited. Being able to modify the waypoints or adding additional stops after optimization is also very easily done. The content within the email of your routes is in depth and makes it easy to add to your client profiles if necessary. The customer service is exceptional. I asked a few questions and received replies within the hour. I made a suggestion and it was added to the app within a week!

Very useful application. Using it to visit Sunday school kids or scout kids and it’s very useful and saves a lot of time. Thank you

Terrible!!!. This app is so difficult to navigate and use! It’s a terrible app. There’s no account settings tab to turn off auto renew and I’ve paid for it. I want to cancel but there’s no spot to do that. There’s instructions to go to the account settings tab that doesn’t exist to cancel the auto renew. What a joke!

Good. Good

Didn’t work well at all for me. This app was more frustrating than just using google maps. It took me on a few run arounds where I would pass an original location and then end up doubling back and passing that location again hours later. Also the google map integration uses coordinates not the address itself so the directions you get are not accurate and end up putting you at a house that isn’t the address you originally put it. All in all super frustrating and made me not really trust technology.

Well done. Exactly what I’m looking for! Simple. Accurate. The only thing I would change is the subscription model. I would pay a one time $10 payment for the unlocked version instead of the monthly subscription. I don’t like reoccurring payments.

Feedback on January 5, 2021. I use this app daily and enjoy it very much. One good function to add would be to have the time automatically record when you complete your check off. This would be good information to have logged and it should be effortless on part of the user. Cheers!

25 stops?. Don’t bother. U pay for optimization and says works well up to 25 stops. I’m sorry but a courier has more then 25 stops. Download Road Warrior, much better

Good app!. Works great! I use it for delivering and so far it saved me over 7000 kms. 1 thing I would like to see fixed is if I’m loading addresses from 1 area it should bring me a list from around North America it should know the area I’m in

Sales Dream. This app is awesome. Me and the other guys have looked thru plenty of apps for route planning and this is one is the one that stuck for me. Really compatible with maps on iPhone, saves your routes in a convenient way, and FREE.

Best tourist app!. I do a lot of sight seeing and traveling and I love using this app to help me on my route to follow everything I want to do. It saves time from driving all over the place back n forth.

Easily organize stops. It’s a great tool to organize multiple stops and saves you driving time.

It’s a bit difficult to use.. Sometimes it doesn’t keep an address in the route. Or maybe I’m not doing something right. But if that’s the case, it shouldn’t be that hard to use....or maybe it just wants me to pay. But I haven’t made a complete route yet. However it says I’ve used it 10 times.

Best route planner. Fast respond when you email support service. They also fix all your issues when needed. Best app I have dealt with and it’s great for the line of work I do.

GREAT APP!!. I do anywhere from 10 to 60 stops a day and this app make everything easier. Arranged my stop by distance and I get through the work load with ease.

Functionally ok. As the title says it it’s functional but it has one big flaw you have they’re blanket only choices for mode Walk Car or bike for all your stops and it’s a pain if you’re trying to do multiple modes

PlaceMaker. As a FedEx driver this is so easy and quickly routed...however there are still a lot I have to enter and if app doesn’t recognize street it puts in a place on map anyways. I do like 👍

Favorites tab on map screen. Please remove or give an option to remove the favorites tab from the map screen. It takes up half the screen.

The best routing map of all.. I’ve tried other apps, they were slow or cumbersome. Place maker is easy, flexible, remembers locations, is shareable. Has timers. It just works!

Correction to negative review. After buying both optimizers I had to keep trying and finally waited a couple of hours and the Optimizer started working. App runs well in the first few drives and see no reason it should not do an excellent job.

Barcode scanner is the only good thing. Can’t re-optimize if you have any checked stops, optimized routes are terrible and you have no choices for optimization eg. shortest distance or fastest routes, no turning around, avoid certain areas or roads. Honestly The fact that you can’t re-optimize if you have checked stops is ridiculous and basics makes the whole app a wash. If Road warrior had a barcode scanner I’d be 1000’s times better.

Fantastic route app. I do a nightly route with anywhere from 15-25 stops. Using this app consistently saved me 1-2 hrs and 30-60 miles per night. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to save time and money.

Very Simple!. Easy to use and very quick and easy to edit or delete stops!

Error colors. Guys you need to update the app and Fix an issue the have with the they have to fix a problem with colors not being assigned correctly when selecting new color pattern. Thanks

Just what I was looking for. Great app for working on my laundry delivery route so I can store more than 8 possible stops and select which I will go to next. Love the info page for each stop. No more paper for this guy. Easy to set up.

Heaven sent!!. This app makes my routes so much easier and headache free. Affordable and easy to navigate. I don’t work a day without it, truly saves you time and mileage. Does all the work for you, just plug in the address’s and go!!

Camera doesn’t work after backing out IOS 17. This app is awesome! But I’m having a issue. Every time I back out of the live text option and go back into it, the camera is frozen. I keep having to reopen the app every time I switch stuff around on iOS 17.

Very unhappy. Having to get in and out of the app after each stop is ridiculous!! Not easy to use

Great app for service industry. I’m a technician and I use this app, even in the free version it doesn’t restrict you too much, it allows you to choose your preferred GPS app and runs very smoothly

Really good app.. Very good app helps me find where my deliveries are in a timely manner. Only one knock tho my friends can scan the barcodes for free on theirs but mines tries to charge me. Don’t understand this.

Great way to organize our bargain hunting trips!. This is so easy to use. I use it mainly for shopping trips and it makes it so much easier to make stops in order.

New to the area. I’m a school bus driver that has moved to the area and it helps soooo much in training myself for the routes. I love how you can hold your finger down on the map where you want to add a stop. It’s been nothing short of a life saver 👍🏼❤️😉🤗

Great app. App is perfect for my job. Use every single day. Only problem is it gets a bit tough to add jobs when you get past 10 or so. Not that big of a deal though
