Went from 1 star app to 4 stars. New Review - I hate app subscriptions and make it a point to not support them, but this app is really really good. I spent some more time playing around with the few free filters they had and was extremely happy with the edits I was making. So much so that I had to try out the trial. Since I realized there aren't other apps that can even come close to this one, and I was so excited with my edits, and the yearly price made it under $2 a month I bit the bullet and got my first (and last) app subscription! Old Review - This is a great app from the little I can tell about it because almost everything is behind a paywall. I'll easily spend $5 to $20 on apps and Filters but will NEVER subscribe to an app. At least other apps that do this with photos still want my money.

Amazing Edit App. First time I get blown away by an App. I’m working on a music project and was looking for a good editing software and landed on this. Totally worth it and very user friendly.

Dumb. I have this app and it’s not even letting me get out of the beginning that like I am just scrolling by every time it’s not letting me do anything and I’m really dumb. I love graphic designing with this stupid to ever get this app you should just go get a different thing. Kim is so much better than this app.

Cost too much. It costs way too much for the limited things they offer.

Best Art-Related App I’ve Ever Used. It’s unfortunate that there is no longer a free version, but I paid for the subscription and got access to the new filters and man, it creates the most beautiful abstract images; I can’t even describe the beauty of some of the things this app has produced. It’s extremely easy to navigate, and the filters require very little effort to create such a finished product. If you’re into the abstract, this is definitely the app for you, I shelled out the money and have no regrets.

Integrity. (Edited 2 years ago in 2021) I do so love it when developers maintain some integrity and and don't gouge their loyal customers every year with another payment. Year after year we have to pay those who charge through the nose even though a lot of us just want to buy the app. What's that? You've joined the rest and are a subscription only app now‽ Why? We don't like you when you do that. October 8, 2023 Some 2 years ago a developer answered my review that there’s a purchase option. Is there? I don’t see it now. Do I need to get a 3 day trial and dig through the thing to find it? I guess I couldn’t find it the last time I tried it and gave up. Maybe it’s a good app with good effects and a UI that makes sense but if I can’t simply buy it I’ll pass it up again.

Impressive. I'm a digital artist and use a lot of apps. This is powerful, easy to use, and quick to process. Surprising amount of options. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Work. This is some good stuff..... This is some really good stuff..... I have recommended this to people. It’s not something you can explain unless you say “it does so cool stuff to photos” because there’s a million programs that put simple tints over photos. You have to show someone. Take any photo; ANY photo, and in less than a minute of tapping your screen, have a work of art. Art is in the eyes of beholder, but you can take, say, a shot of a forest. There is a filter (dunno if that’s the right word) that will make it look like anything ranging from Rob Zombie to the land of the Lorax. Congrats on your goldmine, will be upgrading to support the devs. They earned it.

Trigraphy. Well it’s definitely top of the line when it comes to Trigraphy, best Choice and easy to use. Love my Artwork

Wishing for more. I love the filters on this app, but feel limited by only having the freedom of only four open ones. Still a decent app, but PLEASE will you unlock some more filters 😞

The Airbrusher….. WOW ! At first I hated it but once you get the hang of the learning curve you can’t not loving it !! Hang in there folks, it only gets BETTER !!!!!

Can’t try it to see if I like it. Most editing apps give you a few free templates to try to see if they fit your needs. I am not going to get trapped into paying to “try” to end up get out of my subscription if I dont like it. Not worth the hassle.

Uniquely Creative App. This App is highly suggestive ! The alterations you can create are absolutely amazing in so many ways ! There are so many unique creations that can be done and they look professional bringing out so many magical elements for one to enjoy . By far one of the best Apps available for photo editing ! 5 Stars !

Cool but not full functionality. It will be cool to correct more picture properties

4 1/2 stars. Very interesting set of filters, but needs tweaking.. I’ve really enjoyed using Trigraphy, and it’s got some wonderfully weird settings that are different than any of the dozen-or-so photo editing apps I use. When the developers upgrade to include the ability to scale the effects (something that would be relatively easy to do), this will be a must-have app. Lots of fun, but it could be even better. However, even the current version is a great step forward. Looking forward to seeing what changes.

Greedy!!!. It seems like all these apps think there so good that people will pay a subscription. I payed for this app and now they want me to pay again. I used it maybe 3 times and now I can’t even use it at all. Do I get my money back? I Do not support any subscription app. They have the option to pay 50 for life. Until next year they will change it again and make you keep paying. This is a scam do not support thes greedy people. If they wanted to make a better app they should have released a separate one for subscription. But they didn’t do that because the know people won’t subscribe if they have the option to use the original app. Apple should make these practices banned and make the developers refund are money.

Subscription for what?. I just took a look at the version history to see what my subscription would get me. I don’t mind paying a sub if I am getting something for that ongoing payment, but myriad small fixes is not what I would expect.

Horrible photo app. Do not waste your money! So pixelated you can’t see what the original photos were! Tried a couple different pics, same result!

probably the most unique photo editor. It does one thing and it does it better than the alternatives. It gets out of your way and just makes it dead simple to create unique looking effects.

Just one thing. Just want to be able to do some simple cloning and paint. Otherwise I love this app!

Good but needs a update. Good app has Potential but a lot of the filters are to overwhelming for the pictures I like the filters try to adjust but the filter or overlay for the picture taking over much more

Innovative art app!. I’ve had this app for less than a full day and I am amazed by the variety of effects I can make to a starting photo. I love that each effect option has multiple ways to control the output and that layers can be added and controlled individually. I especially appreciate the built-in tutorials that help guide me towards different functions within the app. This is not a just a “slap it on and be done” filter app. (Although I achieved some fantastic effects doing just that before I realized how many changes I could make.) You have artistic control and can be proud of the finished result.

Takes some time. At first I was rather frustrated with this app, it takes some time to figure out how to use it and get worth while results. I still have trouble with portraits. I really what can be done with landscape photos. Far more interesting than the generic stuff most photo editing apps offer!

Crashes. Love the possibilities of this app, but it crashes every time I upload an image. The little work I did was deleted and not saved. I Worked on the glitch this morning to see if I can fix it as I see great possibilities with the app. I fixed it by rebooting my iPhone. Yes! I was able to create one picture with multiple effects and layers just to see if it crashed and it did not. I was able to save too. I will continue to use it until my trail is over and purchase if all goes well. Great app!

Outstanding App. Anyone looking to take their photos to another level and make a photo more than just another picture should try the free version of this app. It's fun and whimsical twist effortlessly generates new ideas. I have also purchased the 18 x 18 suede pillow and the quality of the image reproduction and the materials used to make the pillow are very good.

Cool, if you're willing to pay.. Just a warning to those who are considering downloading this: it's only useful if you buy the pro version. Nearly all the features are restricted in the free version. Great app, though.

Fun and easy. Fun and easy to use. After you have used it for a while, it seems a bit limited. Perhaps that will change when new settings are added.

No go pro. Why do I have to pay a monthly fee for what I already own, I bought all the things, now I cannot use them unless I go pro, I need a refund or unlock my paid for features, why did you do this ??? One of the best filter apps!!. I have 30 photo editing apps and doing my research they are some of the best, however Trigraphy is my favorite for filters and manipulation of your images. You get some incredible looking artistic photos with this app. You get layers, mask and many more adjustments. They even have many images of what other artists have accomplished using this app. Also many tutorials to help you get going. This app is a must if you are an artist or photographer wanting to transform your images into stunning art!! There’s a reason why it pretty much has a 5 star rating from over 500 people! Lastly I want to mention my favorite part about this software that the developers have done. Unlike Adobe and many others that have gone to subscription only models, the developers of Trigraphy have given you several options. Monthly or yearly subscriptions and also an option to just pay once and own the software which is what I did and well worth every penny of the price!! Thank you developers for giving us an option which is what the greedy people from Adobe do not! This is truly one special app!!

Trigraphy - Fabulous Modern Art Creator!. 2022 Review: Just rediscovered this amazing app to create art from photos! So fun and it's amazing what creativity can be had just by a click of a button! Thank you for allowing in-app restoration of purchase (bought years ago). OLD review: With each update, app gets more amazing as more artistic effects are added (IAP's are worth it!) Can’t use it to try it out. I use multiple photo editing apps. The ones that I bought all have the option to use it first. I’m not going to buy an app that doesn’t allow me to see how it works according to my workflow.

Creativity Greatness. This unique app provides great opportunities to create fascinating artwork. It works perfectly, professionally and fully supports creativity.

Thieves. Bad app. They only want your money.. I signed up for the 24 hour free trial. I was unable to cancel and instead was charged twice, $4.99 and $7.99 which Apple will not give me the option to refund. Unless you like giving money to thieves and pickpockets, don’t download this app.

Not worth it. Too bad you have to pay 8.99 just to try it out.. the tutorial videos are not very informative, it’s basically the same filters you get in photoshop with blending and layers. Paid the 8.99 for the month, used one day and canceled. Lightworks apps are much more intuitive

Subscription.... Subscription is not being honored.

Unique, contemporary & beautiful. I’ve tried a fair amount of editing apps, & this one truly stands out. It’s not your basic filters, like enhance, vintage, vignettes & B&W. It’s not like other art effect filter apps, that lack fine editing tools keeping you a lil boxed in. This app makes dramatically digital, funky, artistic changes to a photo. With categories of effect styles that each contain different varieties, & the tools to fine tune the effect, there are plenty of options to play with. There is an option to buy extra effect packages, but they’re completely worth it! They even provide masking/erase tools, texture/lighting filters, & you have a chance to have your pic featured on the apps home page! The features take some practice to manage, at least for a novice. But it’s time well spent, considering the creative possibilities at hand. Don’t pass this app up, it will surprise you!

Not free. Requires signing up for a moth minimum before even starting, there’s a trial yes but still have to sign up. Deleted app quicker than it took to download.

Very useful and stable, but.... As a real artist I find trigraphy very useful for creating abstract backgrounds for my paintings, and quite easy to use. I would give the App (HD) 5*stars if it were completely iPad compatible. I cannot use it in landscape screen mode, which is my default iPad use mode. The price is right, the App is useful and fun, and so far very stable.

Fair game. This App is yet another potentially good offering that is completely ruined by the unfortunate ‘subscription’ type marketing that is choking the AppStore these days. This type of marketing is costly and ultimately not sustainable. The ‘One Off’ purchase price is also quite excessive when other ‘fully featured photo editing suites’ can be purchased for less. BTW these photo effects can easily be achieved by Photoshop and it’s many less expensive equivalents for around the same subscription/purchase price. This is a nice well developed ‘entry level’ piece of novelty software, nothing more.

Needs Landscape Mode. Needs a landscape feature to rotate landscape photos from camera roll but otherwise a brilliant app

Great but overpriced. Great app, I love some of the effects. I tried pro for a while and was disappointed in how much it cost to continue with the pro. I’d happily pay about $10-$15 for this app to have all the features as a one off price but it’s not worth over $40 thats for sure!

Simple and elegant. Tri is simple yet so elegantly designed in its interface! The app simply trianglize your photos, but I was hooked for ages as the feature is really addicting to play around with, and the photos all turn out really stylised and artistic! Awesome photo app!

awesome app. i’m absolutely in love with this app but one this that i would recommend is in the section where you can add lights and different effects to your picture, being able to move the light around or where the cracks are on the picture but overall great app

Great app overall but lacking a very important feature. This app in incredible and allows for great expressions of artistic talent by whoever uses it, but a major feature that needs to be added is an undo button. Whenever I’m masking something with the brush and I accidentally do something I didn’t mean to, I have to try and brush over it because there is no undo button. Please add an undo button as it will make working with the app a whole lot easier.

Innovative and artistic!. Tri is a really amazing app that converts your photos into stylised triangles! Sounds simple, but the degree of control you have, makes the results look artistic and professional. Who could guess that triangulising your photos could be so much fun!

Great app, constant review pestering. This is a great app to create alternative art from your photos. It's always interesting to see what comes out with all the different settings. Giving only 2 stars for constant review pestering. If I say later, I meant it, I don't want to be asked again in 5 minutes.

When I have ten minutes or so and find a picture I like. Like most everyone, I take iPhone photographs and I first tried this app months ago. I really enjoy playing with the app from time to time. After a while, I found more and more features—and their settings—and played with ’em more and more, again. I recently found a feature which allows me to bring whatever parts of the background I brush, well, it brings ’em up through the overlaid effects. Cool. Fun. I have the free version right now. read before downloading!. Without paying for pro, u get 4 effects to chose from; 2 of which are only useful! They’re not even that great of effects. It seems like a good app if ur willing to pay for pro..

Removed free version and made app too expensive.. I just opened this app after not using it for a few months. Now, the entire app is locked behind your subscription model? I’m not against buying apps. But $70 for filters is absurd. $6 a month subscription for an app that really only needs to cost $6-$10 in the first place also seems really greedy. I’d even pay $15 for the full app. Also, I don’t mean to sound entitled since I had been using the free version but locking the entire app behind a subscription is really scummy and instantly made me delete this app after having it on my phone for years.

What happened. What happened I used to be able to use a single picture and add the effect. Now it's like add a second picture then erease the area you don't want mixed. Terrible. Have both options if you want. I like the effects but I want to use just 1 picture and add the effects where I want it.

One of the best apps on my phone!. I am constantly blown away by the results I get with this app! I find it's very easy to use and get professional looking results pretty quick. I would really like it if there were some more customization options with the textures (ability to flip the textures or rotate them). Saying that, I still give this app 5 stars because of the fantastic results I'm getting. Keep up the great work guys!

Very professional. The app is very useful outside the office, being an editor and a perfectionist, myself, I prefer to edit thing, I.e.picture when ever I can, but my problem of a busy life filled with useless travel time spent on getting from home to work really kills my editing time, with this however I can edit easily on the go, like I could on my computer makes life really easy. It has every thing I need for on the go professional editing. One thing I wish it could do is send my work directly to adobe photoshop so I can fix the dinner details more in depth on my computer. Besides That this app is everything done in a sec, and for those who love editing pictures without the hassle of learning photoshop of being excellent at it can also enjoy great pictures at the touch of a button, I'd highly recommend it.

Intersting!. What I like about this app is that I can make a picture turn into really pretty art to put as my wallpaper or to post onto my tumblr which is really good because I only post abstract art on my blog. I was trying to find a way to do it without getting a software and pay a lot of money for it. With this its great I can make something really cool really fast! love it such a great app! Need more tutorials. The tutorials are not that informative

Really a 10 star app. This app is totally awesome! It comes with many options for one to pick from to do many creative things to your photos. If my memory is correct, you can then pay for additional features that are even more awesome and completely worth the money. Here's why I give it ten stars. They recently had an update. Then the app started crashing. Well many developers just wouldn't care. Not these people! The bug was promptly crushed and the app is back to 100%. Super app!! Get it and have endless creative fun. They have updated this app and it is even better than before. It works with iPad Pro in landscape and vertical. It works with your Apple Pencil. It has more features, I like it more and more. Definitely a high end app.

Stunning, but some bugs. I really enjoy what the developers have done with the update. It radically expands what we can do. The Slovo preset group seems to force the save edge, when flattened, regardless of whether or not the edge saving toggle is on or off. I wish the preset variations, now labeled A B C etc., had icons or thumbnails instead. I look forward to the addition of more blending modes, perhaps, in the future. Can't open app?. As soon as I select OK at the prompt to give the app photo access, the app closes and refuses to stay open - every time after I give it access, it permanently stays inaccessible. When I select "Not Now", it lets me into the app, and turning on photo access from Settings immediately forces the app to close and not reopen. Deleting and reinstalling shows the issue is persistent. New 10.5" iPad Pro.

Best free photo editor. The app asked for an update. In the update description it said they loved to read reviews of there app in the morning. So I decided to write a review. Also this app works very well a specially for being free. If I were to say anything negative it would be sometimes it can run slow but that's probably just my iPad it is old. So all I have to say is get this app.

Crashes. I would rate this app five stars hands down had it not recently started crashing. When you open it, you have the option of choosing a photo from your camera roll or taking a photo via the app. I personally enjoy using old photos from my roll but that option is what makes the app crash now. When this problem is rectified, then I will gladly change my star rating.

I love this app! More filters please!. I have at least 30 "filter" apps on my phone (not including all the other various graphics apps) and as a graphics guy who started before Photoshop existed I think this one's excellent. With the right settings it makes reality look much like DMT does. I've found its often necessary to way over-brighten pics prior to importing them when using the "blocks" filter and would love to see that and some simple other photo adjustments built in to adjust the image prior to the big math genius. And more "standard" geometric variations besides squares!

Great effects, but.... ...the method used for selecting a pre-existing photo is horrible. It might be due to iCloud Photo Library, or it may be the sheer number of photos I have, but it's impossible for me to find and select the photo I want. It's just one long, seemingly randomly organized, list of my photos. Either add the standard photo search options to view how the library is organized in the native photo app (moments, favorites, etc.) or create a share extension so I can edit a photo directly from my library. Other than that, the tools are easy to use, the final products have unique appearances, and the flexibility of the filters add for almost limitless possibilities.

Magnificent. I normally don't take the time to write reviews for apps, but this one stood out to me. It has created new layers of complexity and beauty to my art. It's easy to use. It has featured art from other people so you can be inspired by something new every day. Thank you for such an amazing app

I love it. This app has so many great features. You can make great artistic pictures and it is full of features that I a have discovered along the way...I love it. I cant really explain everything, but it is has an endless amount of artistic capabilities... I have gotten other apps that I regret because this does all they do but a ton more. My only problem is it is hard to choose which medium to pick because they are all really great. If you like posting to Instagram it is a great app..... I highly recommend it... I didn't expect it to have as many capabilities...... I have so many ideas it is hard to choose where to begin....very nice app. The different types of modes is trial and error. I wouldn't even say a learning curve, just easy blend modes...

Fantastic, but.... I've waited for an app like this for a long time, so while I waited, I tried to make a low poly image from scratch, ON MICROSOFT PAINT. It's has taken me at least a month and I'm still not close to done, and this app did what I wanted to do, better than I was doing, in less than 10 seconds. Extremely depressing to me.

Great Photo to Art APP. High end APP worth downloading.

Almost a Gem.... I have been meaning to set some aside some creative time to try my hand in poly-art. Turns out the developer got wind of what was on my mind! ;) Overall I cannot complain too much, the app gives impressive results, - that is until you export. Even after unlocking the HD IAP, which by the way had me rejoicing the second the prompt appeared (many other creative apps fail to implement an HQ export altogether) I was disappointed to see my colors go dull, soft/fuzzy fidelity and jagged lines due to the poor jpg compression when viewing back at my monitor. PNG export would have been a much better option, as I’m guessing the app renders vector shapes rather than rasterizing the results. I could very well be wrong, but either way PNG exporting would retain a sharper image file -so please Mr. Nikolay Nankov! - Add this as option in a future update if you can - it would really make this tool shine! My only other suggestion would be to implement a back gesture. Too many times I swiped the wrong way when editing, and find myself back at the main screen, and having no option to go back even after you’re finished exporting, also is a kill joy - as there are times when I would like to export another variation of my image. With that, I’ll eagerly keep my eye out for the next update, and return with a 5-star after things get polished a bit more. Overall this a promising app, and the developer(s) have a lot of talent & potential!

Review Trigraphy...!!!. Low poly art, beautiful as it is, usually requires potential creators to have a decent understanding of the technical parts involved in the process and getting into it usually revolves around experimenting with tutorials and such in order to keep up with the various guidelines. I guess you can pretty much say that for all art forms but digital-only art is kind of unique in this regard.

REVOLUTIONARY. Trigraphy is on another level in the world of digital art. The quality of the effects, for free (or for a low price for either bundle), is overwhelming. But what knocks it out of the park is the Print Shop. The ability to streamline such a magnitude of a process, and bring it to life on different objects literally warms my soul. I'm very excited to make major league pieces with Trigraphy. YSHWH

Love it. This app is amazing! It has so many settings and features you can mess with to get exactly what you're looking for. The only thing I would add is the option to make the lines a different color like black or white or the negative of the picture! Other than that it's absolutely perfect

Great app to stimulate your creativity. This app is really handy. I usually take pictures and download pictures that spark my interest. As a graphic designer I want to instantly create. Trigraphy gives me this kind of quick creative environment on the go everyday. I really enjoy using it
