Must have app!. This is app is wonderful. It makes it easy to add days quick. Can see which days you are night shift or on days. If your coworkers use the app you can also see who is working. The only problem I have so far it is difficult to see if I am also on call the same day I work. If you have more than one thing happening in a day you have to click to see which can be frustrating. Also there is no way to delete messages. Overall a very useful app.

Great but too slow when it comes to making changes. I love it and hate it. Love it because I can enter my schedule and see my colleagues schedule. But it is super annoying when it comes to making changes like editing and deleting shifts. If I put available to work and then go back to change it to regular shift - it takes forever. When you put your schedule you can do several days at the same time, but when you want to make changes or edit- it only let’s you do one change at a time and it takes a long time.

Worth the 5 stars!. I am not able to mass edit my schedule anymore. I plan my schedule 3 months in advance as that’s how far out we self schedule at work, but now it’s a hassle to edit all my days for approved days. I can’t delete or remove my days without clicking on every single date. Please fix this it was easier before! I could click the + sign and mass edit my days with ease, now not so much. Edit: Thank you for the quick response! I much prefer the way it worked before but this is okay too! In a way I can see it prevents from shifts disappearing by misclicks. Thank you!

Too many features and error prone.. This app is useless without a Wi-Fi connection, which seems unnecessary just to check a schedule. I live in an area where reception is spotty and the app is just slow and rather clunky. The interface is too congested and it’s far too easy to make entry errors when trying to place your schedule. The social portion also seems unnecessary, we have enough social media apps without dragging it in to a work schedule. Google Calendar works better.

Great customer support!. I normally don’t write reviews, nor do I ask for help with an app issue. But I’ve been pretty reliant on this app (it’s that great) that when it did crash on me, on a last bid of desperation, I contacted support for this app. They corrected the issue with the update and emailed me a couple of times with status updates. The customer support is phenomenal. The app is great. I’m dependent on it to view my schedule so that I don’t miss a shift. Love it and highly recommend it to anyone whose schedule is all over the place.

Simple way to record your work schedule. I was looking for a simpler way to record my work days than traditional calendar apps. I just wanted something I could mark “working” and move on. This app is amazing! I can put in work days, education, meetings so easily! It allows for multiple work sites, as well. There are some scheduling functions for use within your whole unit, but mine doesn’t use them so I can’t comment.

Best Schedule app for nurses!. Great app! I love it so much and use this as my primary schedule for work and even outside of work. I have several suggestions that I really hope are taken into consideration! 1. Allowing a repeat pattern schedule option. Some nurses have a repeating pattern for a schedule and it would be nice to have the option to have it put in automatically rather than having to do it manually. 2. Groups! It would be sooo awesome if you could create a “group” of people and compare a group of schedules together in one! Rather than individual people. 3. A “partial shift” option. I often pick up only 4 hours, and it would be nice to have a option for that. 4. For days with multiple events, it would be helpful if it showed it on each day rather than dots. For example, if there is a yellow (education, etc.) and a blue (regular shift) in one day, then half of the box for that day could be yellow, and the other half be blue.

Amazing. I love this app! However, is there a way to add “meeting” or “additional duties” as a shift instead of/in addition to a personal event? That way my coworkers can see when I’ll be at work for our 8-hour non-clinical day in the hospital such as trainings, etc. it’s good to know for shift swap if we are trying to see if someone is actually off that day or they still have additional duties. Thank you!

options. I love the app, the only thing it needs is one for vacation with its own colors. when work overlaps personal needs it overides and turns it to its own color, so i cant tell whats in that day. they neeed like color dots for vacation and personal needs separate from the work block colors or make the work block colors smaller for more room for the personal needs, vacay, education, and payday. when work over laps it turns the color its own. so i cant tell whats on that day. so 4 stars. still love it. , quick and simple.

Good but lacking. I think this is a good app but is definitely not great. It feels very aged to me. There are apps with more functionality and more features. I think this is used because it’s just a standard with nurses, everyone just hops in cuz it’s what’s popular. Not sure if that’s why there are few updates and far between. Simple is good which is a great part of this app but there aredefinitely ways that can make it more user friendly and keep up with the times. With this app being out 4 years. I’m just expecting more. As others have suggested a dark mode would be appreciated as well as the ability to have a widget on your Home Screen for quick and easy viewing. More colors, icons that pertain to other aspects of life. I would also like to maybe have days with multiple events have a split color to see that my day isn’t just full of one thing without having to click on the dots for everyday I have lots going on. Also, definitely need to be able to compare multiple colleagues. Fortunately for me, I have more than one friend/coworker so it would be great to be able to pair up my schedule with ALL of them . Good app but can be better. Other Apps are too advanced for it to not have these features . Developers-I feel like need to be a little more innovative with ideas and make it a priority to push out not only bug fixes but ALSO new features, maybe a slightly different upgraded interface.

Quick and Simple. Absolutely love this app!! Originally was using my calendar app to show the days that I work but since I work overnight my calendar event always went into the next day and it all just looked messy. Plus trying to add my new shifts became bothersome. Love how you can just tap multiple days and it just shows a moon icon to represent nights (sun icon for days). Another awesome feature is the ability to see when my friends are working or free so we could plan dinner or trips together. I have even recommended this app to the nurse residency director to share with all new grad nurses to help with time management. The self reflection section of the app is also amazing to use so I could reflect on how my day went and what to improve. Another great thing is how quickly support gets back to you!!

Love NurseGrid!. Just one feature I’d like to put up for consideration. Any chance you can add “cancelled”? I see the “on call” option, but what about if you end up getting cancelled for the shift? And for both of these options maybe a bar at the top of the box? Instead of color blocking it altogether? Because when it’s fully colorblocked one thinks they have to work, I know clicking on it gives more info but it would be nice if all we had to do was just open the app and quickly see.

For me, it’s missing a few things. I think this app is great, and i love the visuals and that I can clearly see what nights I work vs trying to visualize it with my iPhone calendar. But the next 2 needs I have are 1) syncing between devices - I’m not sure I see the need for logging in and having an account if when I log in to my phone, the calendar is empty after I updated it on my iPad - and 2) to be able to import calendar events from my iPhone calendar (not to). I hope to see these features in the future, especially the device sync, because I think that’s important. Otherwise it definitely is great.

Best work organizer app ever. This app is so wonderful it helps keep all your schedule days from multiple worksite on one calendar,I've been using the app for over a year and it's great. When using with a friend you can see who is scheduled to work with you and even if the person is not on the same worksite you can see friends schedule from wherever they may work if they update which makes it easy to plan trips and time off with your friends outside of working..... love it, love it, love it

Great but suddenly buggy. I love that it keeps my two jobs and all the meetings they have so organized. Couldn’t live without this app. 3 stars for the fact that recently, the app doesn’t stay logged in for more than 24 hours at a time (both manually logging in and logging in via Facebook). I have SO. MANY. passwords in my life due to everyone requiring changing it every 3 months these days, so there are times where I’m going through 3 or 4 password combos, VERY irritating. Integrate facial recognition or fix your password algorithm PLEASE, this was not an issue before.

Great App!. Great app to use! No complaints other than not being able to put in more than one title. You already have the option to select more than one worksite and that’s nice for people that have more than one healthcare job; but it would be nice to get a function for people like myself that hold more than one title at a facility. I’m a cross-trained CNA, Unit Secretary, Sitter and soon to be Tele Tech. An option to manually type your title instead of choosing one already listed and have the function to share it with co-workers would be great. I’m different roles different nights and I get asked all the time by co-workers what I am that night, it can be frustrating on my end…

This app is kind of terrible. I am new to this app, but want to use this because I would like to know who I’m working with on certain days, however, each time I enter a “event“ it gives me the same pop-ups every time trying to help me navigate the page, which is incredibly annoying, and not at all useful. it also doesn’t seem to account for 24 hour shifts, so I end up putting in two separate shifts to cover the 7 AM to 7 AM shift. So far I am not impressed by this app or it’s in her face. for some reason, this text is showing up white on white, I am unable to edit this before posting, hopefully it does not have too many errors.

Needs. This app has been a HUGE help as a contract/ travel /PRN RN! I’ve suggested it to many. I also share it with my friends and family so they can see and know when and where I work for safety reasons. Although the link to share with others started glitching, I share my login with them and that works out fine. I hope the developers see this because I have a suggestion. Please add a toggle option that says “Cancelled” (with an “X”) and “Floated” (with an “F”) so that we can track these days as well, at a glance, like the “Charge” and “Preceptor” options. It would be REALLY helpful!!! You can’t see this in the notes when looking from the main screen and I need it more often than not. Otherwise, It works as designed and I love it!!!

Convenient and easy. I just got introduced to it- omg- what an easy way to maximize use of my smartphone. I was carrying a bulky planner with color coded ink - this app is awesome where I can just add and pick which colleagues I would trust to share my schedule with and I can easily plan to have dinner or happy hour with them on our common days off- (instead of asking "when are you off," or "when are you working," it gets kind of annoying - Thank you thank you!!!!

Bug issues. I use this app often and haven’t come across any issues until the most recent update on 5/4/23. Syncing to google calendar and apple calendar seems to be malfunctioning - some shifts show up in the wrong time zone while others aren’t affected. This isn’t a problem on the nurse grid app itself. It’s frustrating and I hope it’s something that went wrong that can be fixed with another update because otherwise it’s a very convenient app to have.

Amazing. My co-workers and I love this app! Makes it so easy to check your friend's schedules, and keep your life updated ! My only suggestion would be to be able to choose different color options under one location so that you can customize your schedule more or show the difference between one schedule ending and the new one starting without having to add a different hospital location. Also wish that you could see at least your own schedule without having service.

Need update. Maybe you can make it a little bit more into this app. Maybe you can add different color to put on each date not just green for regular job maybe an add another color for the second regular job? 🤗 for other people who has double job. And sure you can add notes into the date why not add a link? Direction Map? Or address so just one click it will go straight to GPS? And notification to remind you’re about to leave or just simply a reminder.

This app is the best!!. I love this app!! I can keep my schedule straight, I can add extra shift I sign up for, I can add my ETO/PTO days, I can mark my paydays, and I can change colors for which department I am scheduled to work in! Plus everything is color coordinated so I can see easily at a glance what my week will look like. I love that I can add my co-workers also and as long as they keep up with adding their schedules, I can see at a glance if they are working and even compare schedules with them.

Needs improvement. This app is a good app. And has great potential. It's annoying you can't access the app unless you have service. I want to be able to see my schedule if I don't have any service, or I’m unable to connect to WiFi. I get not being able to add days or whatever, but it's extremely frustrating that it doesn't load though unless you have service or connected to wifi. I wish there was a way to add/make customized days. I don't want to have to use multiple calendars for one schedule. There needs to be a custom option and more color choices. Instead of blocking out the whole day in green, using bars and different colors would be more appropriate. You could have up to 4 bars listed on the schedule in different colors and know what each one was for instead of only seeing a day covered in green, not knowing if it’s work, personal, a meeting etc.. There’s no option for staff meetings. It's definitely got great potential but still needs some additions/changes/updating. I really hope they’ll work on making it more functional, nurses are busy and having an app that makes it easy to see everything would be so helpful.

Great app, but wish there is one more feature.... Because my work schedule is the center of everything this has become my go to calendar for just about everything. One minor thing I wish could be added is the ability to input a particular pattern and have it automatically schedule it out. This might not seem like a big deal for some but scheduling ahead of time with a 9 week pattern. can become somewhat time consuming.

Do not update the app!. Warning! The current app update will modify your calendar view to ONLY one month at a time. The feature to scroll up and down to view multiple months on the screen has been taken away. The view that you will see is one month, stretched out to fill the screen, a waste of space which makes it inconvenient when trying to create your future schedules. For example, my workplace has weekend requirements as a FT staff, for a 6 week scheduling period. The benefit to view several months by scrolling up/down is no longer. Please go back to the previous version.

Failed open, certificate error. The website and especially the APP are stating certificate expiration and error. So although I have an account the app isn’t loading anything. It isn’t giving the Option to sign out and then back in. Only options are to refresh- it refreshes to the error page. When the app is functioning it works well and for the most part provides what I need. Times like these when it isn’t working… it’s an inconvenience. The App Store shows I updated it 2 weeks ago… what’s wrong?? Can the error be fixed so I can move on with my functioning??

Perfect but have some suggestions. This app is perfect for organizing my busy schedule as a nurse. I’ve used it for about 2 years now. My ONE suggestion is having a dark mode option in settings. I am a night shift nurse for life and survive in the darkness lol. Dark mode would make this app infinitely better. (another suggestion that is not as important: more options for shift types) For example in the hospital I work at it is common to be canceled (or pushed to a later start time) for an entire shift if there are too many nurses on the schedule; would be nice to mark shifts as “canceled” or “pushed” instead of just deleting them from my calendar so I can keep track of how many days a week I work vs how many days I get canceled. But dark mode is a must lol. The app is *basically* perfect.

Nonstop notifications. The app is nice overall, however there are a few things that need fixed. The first is the nonstop notifications. I get so many notifications to write a shift reflection even on nights/days I don’t work. I turned off the notifications weeks ago and still receive them it is very annoying. The second thing is when comparing schedules with friends/colleagues it does not show if each persons shift is night or day shift which is a little annoying because my friends and I all work a mix of night and day shifts.

Great App. This app is great, it’s easy to enter & edit my shifts. I do find it difficult to sync with my icalendar, though it’s possible it’s not the easiest thing when I use a calendar on an iPhone, iPad & Mac to track my daily and work life. When I can get it to sync, it’s a little annoying how the “unavailable” stuff shows up. I like to mark my job as unavailable so my coworkers know, but don’t necessarily need all that repetition in my synced calendar. Additionally, some added features like ways to track that you’ve been floated or flexed would be nice! Overall, the concept is great and I’ll continue to use this app for years!!!!

Me and my friends use it!. I love this calendar app! It’s easy to use especially to share and compare with my nurse friends. We’ve all used it for the past 4-5 years! I’ve started to also use it for my personal events (from the new upgrade). Would love to be able to see a weekly view especially with different events and having different shifts at different work sites in one day. Otherwise, love it!

Useful, but sharing has become frustrating. I’ve used the app for many years now and it has served its purpose well, but in the last several months I’ve had more issues sharing my calendar then I ever have in the past. Being able to share my calendar with friends and family who aren’t nurses has been really important since our schedules can vary so much, and for a long time they were able to use the same link I sent them. Recently it was working on and off, and now that link just doesn’t work all together. It only prompts them to download the app (and hopefully that’s not the goal, since that seems absolutely unnecessary). I already sent a message to the company about it weeks ago and was told only some people were having this issue, and I would get a message when it’s fixed. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app, disabled and enabled my sharing, reset my sharing link, everything I could do on my part. It’s frustrating, when you expect an app to grow and improve over time, to instead see basic and previously reliable functions failing.

Great app and great CS!. I’ve been using Nurse Grid for a while now and it is so helpful. Recently I noticed a syncing issue between the site/app and my device (I use both Apple and Google’s Calendar apps). Yesterday I decided to submit a ticket for the issue and almost immediately I heard from Angel in Customer Service. She assured me the issue would be looked into. Today I logged in to the app and found a front page announcement letting all users know that the issue was resolved. That is fast work! Thank you for your continued commitment in providing a reliable tool for all who use it.

Time management. I have enjoyed using nurse grid for the last 5 years! It has helped me to not miss a shift and make adjustments based on my employers schedule grid. I can just open up the app and adjust easily what is listed online. It also helps me keep track of the shifts I charge, precept, attend education, PTO, time off and of course payday. It’s a quick reference guide when called to ask if you can work extra! Nurse grid also helps me to know and manage MY work time versus FAMILY time. I love the color options and icons. I even use nurse grid as my Calendar versus my phone or wall calendar! If I could change one thing about nurse grid though it would be the option to be able to see at least two items on the actual day of each month instead of just one or tapping to see if there is any pertinent items scheduled for your shift. For example, if I’m charging and precepting on the same shift I would like to see “C” and “P” on the display calendar instead of clicking each date to view details. Thank you nurse grid!

Very Helpful. This app is a great and simple way to keep your work schedule organized and on hand. Its not necessary to link with other people, but the more coworkers who use it, the more useful it becomes. My schedule comes out 2 months at a time and it takes me less than a minute to plug all my shifts into NurseGrid. The only missing feature is the ability to have repeating shifts, for those of us who have a revolving schedule. Otherwise excellent app that takes up very little space on my phone. I recommend this for techs, RT's, etc., not just nurses. It's fun looking to see who you're working with on any given shift.

Needs bug fixes. Don’t get me wrong, this app is the main reason my friends and I working can plan things together. But ever since I started using it, there’s alot of things that need fixing. First of all, the notification system is inconsistent. When you make requests to connect with colleagues, you’ll get a notif then sent to the app but then it disappears once taken there. When you leave and refresh the app then you can see that they’ve already been added to your list, even though notification tab always says activity is clear. Another thing is I recently have been having issues seeing my favorites on my list at all; I tried to remove and re-connect with them to see if it would resolve the issue but now they won’t get added to my list at all; I have to manually type them in everytime just to see their schedule even if i’m already friends with them on the app. I have tried deleting the app and refreshing my account and the issue remains. Please make bug fixes and update the app; thanks.

Needs a widget & ability to add payroll schedule, please!. This app is extremely convenient since where I work doesn’t have an app or convenient online assess from my phone. The only thing that is missing is a calendar widget that can be placed on my home screen so when I’m making plans I can see my availability without looking or opening the app. I would also love if there was a feature where we can add which weeks we get paid (which each individual could view privately.) Having this would make a huge difference in how I plan my bills and payments. I literally feel that is the only thing my phone needs so it would be really nice to see this. Thank you!

Not enough color coded options. Could be more creative with the color scheme. It would be greatly appreciated for those of us who do have busy lives blue and green need more color variation. Often times we have multiple things going on on the same day and we don’t need to have to take the time click it open to see exactly what that thing is. We need to be able to look at a glance to see where our nextevent is I’m thinking about deleting it because it’s just too much work to have to click into something to see where I am and this day and age of technology. There should be a rainbow of colors to choose from. Thank you for this opportunity to be heard.

Perfect in every way!. The only thing I have to say about the program at this point is their old messages that I sent to a friend and vice versa but I've been there on there for nearly 600 days… There is no way to get rid of them… That's my only complaint I don't like seeing them there… However everything else seems to work great and if I do have a problem I get a hold of Nurse Bridge people and they get back to me so all is good thank you 👍🏼🕷👍🏼 D2 Started using this about a year ago… Every hospital I go to work if I use this particular program… I have the recent hospital that I'm at using it and we now are able to see each other's schedule to swap if needs be… Totally amazing incredibly useful and I wouldn't have it any other way. And a reminder to everybody out there using this program send Kudos to the man who created it every once in a while because the program is awesome thank you... Love it and it is better than paper!!! This app helps me stay organized. As a night shifter, I have a hard time remembering what day it is half the time. I have a set schedule but I regularly pick up overtime so this helps me keep track of my OT days. The only thing I wish it had was a way to mark the days as an overtime shift, otherwise this app is great! I can also put in my PTO requests way ahead of time on this calendar since I generally map out my days off months in advance.

Great, needs just a few improvements. Syncing to google calendar could be easier. I had to enter a super long calendar url, and it displays strangely when I view it on gcal (one day shift will visibly take up to full days on gcal). It also really needs the ability to put Monday as the first day of the week. My institutions schedule program uses monday as the first day, making the use of the default Sunday on Nurse Grid confusing. Otherwise, google calendar could learn a lot from the preoe at nurse grid, because the all and ease of entering shifts is great

Super user-friendly. I love it because I work night shift and when you schedule a shift from 7pm-7am for example, it doesn’t show that shift on the next day too unlike the iPhone calendar and the google calendar (I hope that made sense). It allows you to see when your colleagues are working or even your friends at different hospitals. It even allows you to switch shifts, notify your manager, request overtime, etc (if your facility manager uses the app also).

I NEED this to be easier for personal things!. Come on guys, make this calander more user friendly for personal events! Pretty please?! It will def get 5 stars from me if you do. I get frustrated because I’m unable to add a note to an event until after it’s created. I would also like to see my notes for an event when I click on a day, as it is now I have to click the day, then the event to see my notes. I’d like to just click on the day then see all the event times with my notes.

I was living a life of chaos before this.. I’m SO glad this app exists because before, keeping track of my schedule was a pain until I started using this! I used to write my schedule into my planner or keep it on my calendar, but now, my life feels a little more organized. It’s so easy to put my schedule in and I love that I can see my friends’ schedules too. It’s hard to balance time and coordinate schedules with other fellow nurses and this app helped with that too! I will continue to recommend the crap out of this app to my coworkers and nurse friends!!!

Great App for Nursing Shiftwork. I work full time nights and teach at nursing as an adjunct. Either this app I am able to schedule both positions and it flows to my iPhone calendar. My coworkers use it to communicate and I can see who is working with me. The two jobs are able to be color coded. One of the best features are in credentials. All of my certifications are entered and I am able to see a photo of each. The site reminds me a couple months before renewal time. I am also able to block view when necessary as in before the actual schedule is published. I highly recommend and frequently use this app.

Was a nice app. This was a great app to keep and store my work schedule as a nurse. I loved that I can add my different work sites and color coordinate them. Now I do not like the app. My hospital merged but doesn’t actually use the app for scheduling, so now everything is locked. Unfortunately, I might have to find a different app to store my schedule. It’s unfortunate that everything is locked because the hospital merged but my manager has no access. It was nice while it lasted. Maybe the next update can allow nurses to still use and add worksites without needing a managers approval but still let managers change schedules.

Passionflower. I LOVE this app for scheduling work days at my multiple places of employment. I also use the sharing feature to allow all of my supervisors the ability to see my available days. It keeps my schedule full and running smoothly! Thanks NURSEGRID for an app well done. It just keeps getting better. I used to wish you had an option to close a day so I didn't accidentally schedule myself when I needed to be off, but after reading some others' reviews, I realized that now you do have options to schedule "vacation" days, which is exactly what I was hoping for. This app ROCKS!!!

Great App But..... This is a great app that I can keep track of both of my nursing jobs seamlessly, but I do wish the personal option was a little more personalized. I'd like to use one calendar for all events. Work, appointments, social events, etc. I'd like it to show what my event is and the time of the event without it being tied to one of my workplaces and without having to make a note that I later have to go back into to see what my personal event is. Otherwise great! I love the swap and message features!

Widget??. NurseGrid is the only reason I know when I’m supposed to be at work. It’s so easy to use and has a great social aspect as well. The only thing I would ask is for a widget to be available to show me my week on the Home Screen!! I feel like it would be so convenient to just have a Sun-Sat strip (kinda like the weather widget) and have your shifts marked out for quick and easy access to your schedule!! Take this idea and RUN WITH IT!!

Needs a Few More Options. I like this app because it is easy to use but, there are a few options I wish were available. I work in the OR and have different call shifts that I may be scheduled for. Some of these call shifts start right after my regular shift and while I can add it to the same day, it would be nice if there was a way for it to stand out more since those shifts are the ones I need to remember the most. Also, it would be great if there was an option for iPhone users to create a widget with this app.

So great. Love this app. It’s so easy to plug in my schedule and I love being able to see who I’m working with. I’d love more color options to personalize. Also the ability to see more of the little icons at a time. For example if I put a day as unavailable but it’s also a holiday, the day just turns a solid color - just like a regular work day - so it’s hard to tell that I don’t actually work that day...

Saves my life!. As a busy nurse, I love this app. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I just got a 2nd job and the app can’t find my work site. I wish there was an option to make my own worksite, and not have to wait for the app to find it and add it however long that takes (which isn’t the 3 days that it says it takes)

Not much functionality. It is straightforward to use and has many potentials if you are connected to your co-workers and if your organization is using the app. I wish there were a way to make it more personable. For example, it would be better to use emojis or something more straightforward in the credentials listing instead of pictures. I wish there were a way to network with others. Good for me. I found this like 3 years ago, when my daughter who is also a nurse, still lived at home. We we on opposite shifts, and needed something to keep track for meal prep. She is now day shift like me, and lives on her own, but it’s a great app for keeping track of my schedule. I like being able to look at hers, and click compare mine so I know if we have a day off together

Love!. This app makes it stupid easy to add, delete, and edit your shifts. You can even have multiple agencies on your schedule. You can share your schedule at the touch of a button. This is the only app I need. I just wish I could add non work things to my schedule. Lets be honest Icalendar and google calendar are not the easiest. This is so easy my toddler nephew can use it

Nurse grid organizer. Love this app! Easy to use, really like how easy it is to see my varied schedule at a glance. The recent updates have made it even easier to schedule multiple days of the same shift! Also, I am happy to have a "personal option" on the calendar so I don't accidentally pick up a shift when I have something else planned. Thanks Nursegrid!

Messaging. This is my first time using NurseGrid that is hospital oriented and not for my personal use. It is beyond difficult to swap shifts with others. Apparently, there is a messaging button to communicate with coworkers; however, I do not have the function on my app (my app is up-to-date and still no where to be found). This now leaves me with 2 notifications at all times from people attempting to contact me but I can not respond to them. This system is not user friendly when scheduling inside a large hospital setting. I only prefer it for my own person use when working at multiple hospitals.

It was perfect until.... I really like Nurse Grid. I work at at least 4 facilities every month and being able to see at a glance where I’m going or where I’ve been by color is SO HELPFUL. But now the past shifts are faded in color, which does make it easier to find “today” but I can’t tell where I’ve been because the colors are close enough together that when they are faded, it’s hard to distinguish. Make this an option?? Otherwise great app.

easy to check when is payday 🤑or your days off 😆lol. This app makes everything easy to check if you're off that day or if coworkers want to switch days etc. It beats looking for my old calendar book to check what shift im working. Its also very helpful for nurses that work 12 hour nights to make sure they dont make plans following day of their Noc shift😬😴👍🏼

Fix it. There is a glitch in the app that when you go to add a note, you can’t paste some thing that’s already been written in another area. If I wanna copy and paste this function is not possible. Please do something about it. Also, can you add a section for reminders within the app? Also, can you add the option to share personal calendars with the iPhone calendar? You can only share job-related calendars what is the point of making a personal calendar if you cannot have a multiple spaces

Great in (almost) every way. Love the app, makes it so easy to track my “dream” schedule and my actually schedule. I also love the fact that I can see which of my friends are working on the days that I’m scheduled. My two things keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that it does not work offline or over slower connections, and that I can’t really customize and personal events. Other than that, I keep telling all my nurse friends about it!

RN. Good App...but would be better if you could schedule two "events" on the same day (for example, a work shift AND education, which happens quite often). And to be able to schedule personal events on the same days as work shifts would be fabulous, as well. A green square for work, with a red star, for example, for personal appointment reminders, would be incredibly helpful!! 😉👍🏻

Was great until it stop working. This app is amazing. It let me keep up with my busy work schedule and in touch with coworkers until..... it stop working. I am unable to open the app. I’ve updated my phones software and download the app multiple times and nothing seems to work. I’m a saddened that I am unable to use this app anymore!

Great App. I like that I can include my schedule, vacation, or education. It enter my schedule in as soon as I get it and it really helps keep me on track. One downside is that you can't enter more than one thing per day like on rare occasions when I have an education day but still work that night. I don't even bother using the payday thing for this reason. Still think the app is perfect for my needs.

Perfect for a busy nurse!. Requested my workplace be added, and now this app is perfect! You can quickly add the days you work, and sync it to show on your other calendars, or friends and families calendars! Super helpful when looking to schedule something with them, they always know when I can’t be there cause I’m working! You won’t regret using this app

Almost perfect. I practically use this app more than my regular calendar since my work schedule affects my “social” life. My only qualm is that it’s hard to see what the current date is, even though it’s in bold. It would be MUCH easier to see if the current date had maybe a circle around it. Switching between day and night shifts is hard enough where I don’t know where in the month we are in the first place. Otherwise, I love this app!

Wonderful. I absolutely love this app, it makes keeping track of my schedule so much easier, and I love the ability to compare mine and my coworkers schedules. I just wish that there was an iPad version of the app. I also wish my employer would make this the scheduler that they use. At the moment I am using this independently with a few of my coworkers.

Love this app. I LOVE NurseGrid! So much easier than individually entering each shift in my calendar and I like how you can see at a glance if you're working days or nights (I rotate and work both). It also comes in handy in marking my weekends in advance, I just go through and mark off every fourth weekend so I know when not to plan something for when I work or to get a switch in advance. I recommend this app to every nurse I know.

LOVE!. Absolutely in love with nurse grid! Always using it and downloaded the app for all my coworkers to use so we’re able to see each others schedule! SOOOOO happy that the color PINK just came back!! Was so sad when you guys changed it! One thing I would love to incorporate are “PSL (paid sick leave) and “PTO” (Paid time off) as one of the options.. if that can be incorporated along with all the vacation tab, unavailable tab etc.. this app would be even MORE amazing. Please and thank you!

Amazing, except people come out twice. I have loved this app since I first downloaded it! My new location is now using it too and they love it. The only issues I’ve seen is you aren’t able to delete old messages and people are coming out twice on the colleague list and also on the day you select to see who’s working. Otherwise it’s great. Definitely recommend.

Work Life Organized!!!. My friend had the app and she loved it so I decided to give it a try. I love it!!! It keeps my work schedule as well as my vacations in check. I have several jobs and the fact that it allows you plug them in and be able to separate them with color codes is a plus. I'm very happy and look forward to updates.

You need an update to add extra functionality. You need to add an option to decline all shifts, it’s tedious to go through each message to decline each one of them - That is a mark of a bad app design when you make a user repeatedly do the same thing when you can have a set button to decline all offered shifts. Also consider an option to sort the calendar via clinic, or an option to set vacation dates to assign that the user is unavailable on those days. Set some automated functions to make it easier for user experience.

Best Scheduling App. This app is the best scheduling/calendar app I have ever used. When I first got the app I was hesitant because my employer is not affiliated with nurse grid, but shortly after downloading it, I noticed that it is superior to all other scheduling apps. Thank you, developers, for creating an amazing app that has no downsides. It has saved me so many times. 6/5 stars if I could.

Love it but needs some updates. Love this app and love that you can see colleagues schedules which is so helpful. However, I wish there was an option to switch from pictures to the actual times of the shift in the calendar view. It would be helpful for someone who rotates and rarely works just a “regular” 12 hour shift to know exactly when I work just by looking at the calendar instead of clicking on each day individually.

Amazing App. I’ve used NurseGrid throughout the Covid pandemic. It’s an amazing app, hard to believe it’s free. So much better than printing out my work schedule and trying to figure when I’m due to work haha. This app also makes it really easy to switch shifts as well since you can see your coworker’s shifts/days off.

Really love it, just wish it would load without WiFi. So I love the app totally. My only wish was that I wish it wasn’t connected full time to the internet. That there was maybe an offline mode saved periodically so that you can check as needed. I have to screenshot it sometimes every 2 weeks to make sure I keep my schedule straight.

Life changer. Love this app!! I was waiting for something that would let me look at my schedule without loading each day I worked one at a time it was so tedious. I love NurseGrid but would love it even more. I love NurseGrid and the ability to see my coworkers schedules and have a laid out simple way to see mine. As someone who works a block schedule, I would love for there to be a way for the block to automatically repeat itself (or at least self populate the weekends) so I don’t have to do it manually for months in advance. Overall, great app!

Easiest cal fee for nurses!. I love how simply II is to just click on the days you are scheduled! However is it possible to make it compatible with google calendar or apple calendar? My fiancé is not a nurse and uses other calendar apps and I would like to share my schedule with her without having to put in my schedule a second time. Thank you!

Best Scheduling App for Nurses!. This app is amazing and super helpful when it comes to easily visualizing my schedule and checking when my friends have off. One thing that I’d love to see is a feature to add short text to a calendar day to remind me of plans so making switches stays organized! This is the only thing I feel is missing — otherwise great app!

Love it...once change needed. I love this app. I have been using it for 4 years and would never be able to keep my work schedule straight with out. My co-works also use it and we love being able to see when someone is work for when we need a trade. Only thing I would change it make it so that others can see when I have a meeting or training so that It doesn’t look like if free that day when I’m not.

Love this app...Only one complaint. I use this app faithfully. I love it! As soon as I know my schedule I immediately put it in this app and it updates my phones calendar for me. It even saves my typical shift time so that it automatically sets that time for the next shift I schedule. Super easy! The only complaint I have is that I cannot seem to have a payday AND a shift on the same day. So if a payday is scheduled, I have to “delete event” so as to add a shift on that day. Other than that I love it

Great App. Don’t really write reviews but after looking at my other options it’s hands down the best app for scheduling. I only wish I could see multiple colors for one day If I’m scheduled more than one place a day. Also wish there were more colors. I work at a variety of places and uses all the colors now I have to repeat some. It gets confusing. Otherwise I love the app. Thank you!

Great app. Love this app! Totally helps have a clear view of shifts. Seeing coworkers schedules is awesome to try and get swaps when needed. My suggestions for an update would include different colors for regular shifts vs on call shifts. It’s hard to tell which is which, even with the small icons, and the delay in opening up each one when clicked on is hard when you’re trying to look at what you’re working fast.

Great but…. Great app overall but when adding friends it takes forever for them to show up under my colleagues. I had introduced a friend to this app yesterday and she added me but it’s still showing waiting . Meanwhile she already accepted on her end mg request, so what’s the hold up ? We want to compare schedules but this is taking too long to refresh

System crashes. This app used to run smoothly, but within the last two weeks it has had technical issues. When I click on a calendar day, I am unable to see any information because The app crashes and I immediately get kicked out. Also, I don’t like that I can’t do anything with this app other than look at my schedule. I have worked extra shifts or stayed later than my shift and anytime I work extra on my shift it is not noted unless management inputs it. I have contacted tech support about the crashing issues twice with no resolution.

Need sync to Google Calendar. This app is wonderful and has helped me keep track of my schedule for about two years now. I love that I can sync it to my iPhone calendar. However, the iPhone calendar is not as intuitive as the Google calendar. This app unfortunately doesn’t have the option to sync with any calendar other than the iPhone calendar. I’d give this app five stars if I can sync my schedule to Google calendar. Please let this happen! Thank you.

Fantastic Nurse Scheduler. This app does it all. Thanks to NurseGrid, I can keep track of Education days, my Charge shifts, and stay on top of my regular schedule all in one spot. I used to have to go through three separate apps before I started using NurseGrid, and now I've started getting my colleagues to join so that we can swap days more easily too. Thanks for designing such as easy to use application.

Has potential. Definitely helps me stay organized, but the lag time after you tap something is frustrating. It’s not my phone because I have plenty of storage and this is the only app that does it. If that’s fixed it will be a 5 star app! Update: They listen to what we complained about and fixed it, the best app out there!!

Suggestion! ;). I love the app! And it has been used as my calendar more than the other calendar apps available in app store. But I hope when you view the grid as a whole month, there would be a red dot (or something better) that indicates there is a note (only viewable by the owner of the account) included on the days there is a note written. Because right now, you need to view each day to see if there is a note or not.

Steff. I love this app. My schedule is always on me! No need to write it down anywhere else, and the best part is that thanks to this app I make sure my pay check is always accurate. Being able to see my friends schedule is also a plus since it makes it easier to schedule get togethers, since nurses schedules are all over the place.

Works great, definitely recommend. Works great. This is the only work calendar I use and I wish is was mandatory for all employees because it would make it so much easier to look for switches. Only thing I would add is an alarm feature that you could set for meetings and such. Otherwise 5 out of 5.

Almost perfect. I work in several different roles at a couple different locations (including an on call position) can see what/where each shift is for by assigning different colors. I love being able to share my calendar with family and that coworkers can see it. Only thing I wish I could change would be adding different color options for meetings and education. I definitely haven’t found a better app!

Can’t open the app. I noticed an update with advertising pictures describing app features to scroll through but it won’t let me open my app now. I’ve tried swiping, tapping holding my finger down in all areas. I have an iPhone XR and it shouldn't be this difficult. Please fix this since my schedule is in that app. I usually enjoy and brag about this app to people at work. Feeling disappointed ☹️

Cannot log in - FIXED. *update- was fixed ASAP, thank you!* My schedule just crashed. I couldn’t see it anymore and so I decided to delete and redownload the app. This caused it to not allow me to log back in, saying the email I used is not associated with an account (which it is). I did contact the support. Otherwise the app is awesome! Usually 5/5, but I haven’t been able to access it. 5/5

The only reason I give it four stars is because I would like to see an option to add a note to certain days, for example, to note who you’ve picked up for that day, the name of a specific class you’re taking, etc. Even without that option, I am still in love with it!

I’m loving it again. So I’m guessing after your system was down and working again I was finally able too get back on the application and I’m happy again I love this app and didn’t want too end up deleting it if it was still not working. But it’s fixed and I’m enjoying it again. Thanks for the reply on my last review too let me know what was happening.

Changes made me downgrade my review. I’m not sure why they changed the feature but you could send a link to your family/friends to see your schedule. Now they have to download the app in order to see it. That doesn’t work for everyone. My daycare lady used to be able to just click the link to see my schedule and now she can’t. Inconvenient change. This was hands down the best app until that.

Overall, it is helpful. Wish the highlighted shift/box would split the colors if there were multiple things going in that shift. For example, if I have a meeting and I am working, it just shows one color..meeting but not that I am working. I have to click on that day to open and see the multiple scheduled events. The three dots aren’t really helpful. Same goes for payday. Why can’t the money sign just be on the colored box, indicating its a payday and not a multiple event day?

Last update no good. This app worked perfectly until the latest update. This is the app I go to in a pinch when I need to know when I work next right then and there. Now, every time I click the app it takes forever to load and usually ends up not loading anyway. Also takes forever to load others schedules. I hope this changes because it used to be a good app before it went down for maintenance a few days ago.
