Ir app. Works flawless with my cheap ir adapter that I got on eBay for $1 for my iPhone. Got 4 TVs hooked up to it in less than 5 minutes. Amazingly easy to use.

Terrible. This is the WORST product I've ever bought. I need extra equipment and all the instructions are in either Chinese or Japaneese😡😡

Great. It works for me, actually this is the only app work with my DIY ir, thank author very much 😀, just one thing, there is no english in app.

Infection. Right after I installed this app I went to safari and it said that I have an infection to my browser and phone and that it was from visiting adult porn sites and this was showing google as telling me this and then it said to download the app there provided to remove the infection. My phone has never visited a porn site ever so I did not install the infection removing app and immediately uninstalled this app here and went back to use safari and did not see this happen again yet. I hope it's gone. Time will tell. Also I then went to my purchased apps to see if I could remove it from that list also but it did not show up there and I thought that to be strange. This is the first time ever I've had something crazy happen from an app from the App Store and I hope Appel is not slipping away on us. Wish STEVE was back in the picture as things have not quite been the same since he's past.

Horrible and useless. You can't even connect it to tv. It's useless thing

Wish I could rate it 0 stars. This app is so bad for a couple reasons. 1. It is in another language 2. You need to buy a stupid antenna (sold separately)

More idioms please. I buy my little IR infrared remote control on Wish app work perfect, I love it 😍. But I guessed settings because the language is only Chinese. 😕

Works great! 1 problem. I love it! Works great with my DIY ir. Only complaint is when trying to delete a save, it refuses leave the home screen.

Nice UI but.... This app has one of the nice UIs I've seen so far for ir remote app. Unfortunately, I've been unable to get this app to recognize my TV (Samsung model UA48H6340) and my cable box (technicolor HD-K10C). I'm therefore giving it a 2 out of 5 with the hope they will improve with the possibility of more choices and the ability of learning remotes. Also, the help and support links are all in Chinese. Please try being more international... When that happens I may revise my rating... :)

Works, the rest don't. 3.5mm to IR. This app is what you use if you've purchased ANY 3.5mm to infrared LED remote/dongle/jack. This is the app you need to use those. (This app works perfectly, why don't TVs have a "wide" button next to their menu button?)

Great App!. I honestly don't know why this app only has three stars. I'm using it to control a homemade IR blaster with my old iPhone 5! As soon as I selected the TV brand, the TV and my surroundsound turned on. I can even use my homemade IR blaster with this app to control my PS4. That's mostly to do with the HDMI control but it still works!! I'm absolutely amazed! Now when I'm out at a restaurant or even a bar I can change the channel without anyone knowing! 😂

Wow.... So I gave this app a try. You have to purchase a separate physical piece to plug into your phone like an antenna. I'm not impressed.

Just don't. A poorly made Chinese app that is just trying to scam you

Works! Non Smart HDTV user.. I have a normal non smart HDTV. Was looking for a universal remote. It is easy to find on the google store, but on iPhone, wow. Anyway, I have the little IR accessory, picked the first option, found my Samsung HDTV, and it worked 100%. Thank the Lord God! So far so good. Would recommend :)

Zero Stars (if possible). To initiate the setup process you have to use a QR Scanner, which is fine, but ALL OF THE DIRECTIONS (or whatever it is) IS ALL IN EITHER CHINESE OR JAPANESE. This COULD BE a "reach", but I'm pretty sure about 99% of the products made in China are exported to NON-CHINESE PEOPLE WHO DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE LANGUAGE AT ALL! When I got to the app that's supposed to be able to recognize tens of thousands of different devices, my xfinity box was not recognized, my LG TV was not recognized and my Panasonic TV was not recognized. Well, it had to be too good to be true with how cheap the product is. ***IN THIS CASE... YOU TRULY DO GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR... AN ABSOLUTE BULLSH-T PRODUCT WITH NO WAY TO CONTACT SUPPORT (help/troubleshooting) UNLESS YOU'RE FLUENT IN CHINESE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND GET DRAGGED INTO THIS LUCRATIVE SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

0 stars should be possible. I downloaded this and realized it needed a device to use and I deleted it. Later realized they charged me $4.99 for it. What a rip off.

Quite good!. YOU MUST PURCHASE THE INFRARED TRANSMITTER TO USE THIS APP! If you do, it works great. That being said, I saw some evidence from my router to suggest that the app may (and I emphasize “may”, because I am not certain) be collecting and/or sending me trash ads or data that I find undesirable. One other person elsewhere suggested something similar was happening to them, but I’m not convinced their accusations were substantiated. Anyway, I like the app and the hardware. I don’t have need of it often, but when I do I will continue to use it. It’s quite well done and has an enormous database of all sorts of devices. Tom

It works for some devices. You need an ir port in your phone or an ir miniplug transmitter, then it does work. However, I can’t find a way to save the device once it has been found. Some devices I wanted to control did not work with the provided codes or aren’t in the list. Poor grammar and phrasing of various screens and controls, but generally you can figure out what they mean.

READ REVIEW. Does NOTHING it says it will do. The first thing the app does is take you to buy some Chinese dongle to plug into a device with a head jack in order to control it.

must buy theirs products to use. Support lots of IR remotes, including some RF remote control

Very good. It works great for me I can turn off and on tvs and projectors at school don’t know why people say it’s “fishy” it’s fine to me would be 5 stars but the range is bad but that might just be my IR headphone

If I would I would rate 0. You need to buy a remote control jack cover thing that you put in the head phone jack. Otherwise, doesn't work.

Making progress(?). To the customer above: most iPhones (if not all) do not have IR capabilities built in. That’s why it asks you to buy one. If you already have one that plugs into the headphone jack or lightning port ($1-3 on Wish), it should work. I don’t have mine setup yet. But you need some sort of physical IR plug-in to use your phone as a remote. So far I’ve gotten it to turn my tv on and off, and tv volume. Discovered a quick tap of the app icon works as a power button. That’s about it. It has 2 QR codes on the back of the box, one takes you to the app they claim you *need*, one brings you to an English guide (I *think and hope!”. There’s also a QR sticker on the front with an alphanumeric code next to it (printed), and a hand written sticker with the same code as above. Frustrating!

WORKS! But requires bit extra.. Well to start.. all these other ppl are IDIOTS AND ARENT KNOWLEDGEABLE BEFORE THEY WRITE Reviews! So to start it does work very well but u need an accessory.. I was able to get mine off amazon by searching IR blasted iPhone. I got the one made by USAMS for $7. Why it never worked for anyone else is Bc NO iPhone comes with an IR blaster. Some Samsung phones do but not iPhone. IR blaster is in every lil remote u have. It's how it "talks" to your tv, projector, whatever. So without an IR blaster the app won't work. And it's very straight forward. lol I even trolled my teacher and screwing with her projector :D the entire class knew but she didn't 😁😁

Didn’t Work, In Chinese. The app language is in Chinese so I didn’t get very far, other than clicking on some link to purchase a key? Huh? If you want someone to purchase your product at least have it in their language, give them a chance to at least test it before pushing for a sale. Seriously, I installed it, saw a + sign with Chinese written under it, clicked it, asked me for som y2r key or something of the sort, and no other option but to purchase. Wow! Great app! Not! Not worth the time, effort, or money in comparison to the many other working universal remotes for download. Most are free, and work automatically without any effort to set up. However, the issue is not with my Roku TV being recognized, but an attempt to recognize my Sanyo DVD player hooked up to the TV, which I unfortunately lost the remote to, being like 10 years old. If anyone has a suggestion, please share. As far as this particular app? It never worked besides being in Chinese. In comparison to others? No comparison...The others I’ve tried don’t require any additional purchase to work with your smart devices. Easy to set up, and easy to use, most importantly easy to read in English. As far as the other positive reviews on here? Questionable, considering I’ve never known anyone to purchase anything not in their own language, and not without testing it first or at least knowing how credible the company is. Who has ever heard of this developer? Not me anyway...Not enough to put that much faith in them to give money up front for something that will maybe work when there are plenty other options to download, test for free, then decide. I say B.S. to their reviews! This app gets rated two thumbs down.
