Low quality and hard to use. The controls in the app are really difficult to use. Finger inputs would often be mixed up while I was trying to select a noise only part of me clip. The final result sounded horrible. It was like a really bad phone call. The person talking would often cut in and out and when they were talking, it was extremely low quality.

Great app... one minor flaw. Works great. I just wish I didn’t need to go through the “how to” tutorial every time I use the app. Otherwise, this is a great way to remove wind and other noises to hear what you want to hear.

Love It!. This app is great! It is such a God send. With me having the vision to start doing filmmaking this is great for canceling noise in the back ground with the mic that I have. It catches a lot of hiss and this app cleans that up very nice for very close to cinematic sound. With the volume controls too I noticed the previous reviews I saw of the volume getting to low can be fixed very easily. Great app and would highly recommend.

Great app. I have used de noise on my last few videos so thought I’d give them a big thanks! I have done some videos for work and there is always background noise and hum from living in nyc. I bought a usb microphone but this made little difference and was considering asking for an extension before submitting the videos - it just seemed unprofessional to have so much ambient noise. As a last resort I downloaded Denoise on my phone and was pleased to find it improved sound quality by a HEAP, got rid of all the background noise and static. My only gripe is that sometimes it crashes and doesn’t save the whole video but when I restart my phone it works fine - so this might be an issue with my phone (iPhone SE). All in all, wish it had been recommended to me and highly recommend if you are filming videos and want them to be professional and sound good!

Awesome!. Better than others because you can adjust the level of noise removal.

Do not waste your money. The app look like it has so much potential. Doesn’t ever seem to work correctly. All it seems to do is lower the volume of the overall track. Maybe i’m doing something wrong but after looking at other reviews i don’t think I am... i think the app is just bad.

WARNING: Corrupts your video.. My video audio was cleaned up nicely. Unfortunately the video is now just a pure white screen. This video is lost forever since my chose to overwrite the original So if you love white videos it’s a great app.

Crashes waist of time. I spent 1 1/2 hours on 14 minutes and even tried to do 1 minute at a time by editing from voice memo need to find another app now

Read the reviews!. Clunky interface, but worst of all... watery results! Not AT ALL like the sample video. I work with audio all the time, and the results in that sample video are NOT from this app. Now I set they don’t have a trial version. Save your money!

iPhone 8plus. The app is pretty easy to use, and I like that you can change the levels so the sound doesn’t sound muffled or completely different! I would definitely recommend this to others.

Crap app reloads every single time you touch anything. This app reloads your entire video every time you have to do anything. Try to adjust the area to select the Area to get rid of the noise reload try to anything and it has to reload it’s a piece of crap app

Absolute garbage. The editing bars don’t actually change any of the noises other than fully muting the video. Not user friendly in the slightest and the tutorials are not explanatory at all. Don’t waste your money.

Don’t buy this.. I only tried out the voice memo editing, but I assume it’s the same concept for videos. Once you finally figure out how to cut white noise from your audio, you discover that the app doesn’t do a very good job. You know when TV/internet videos get all pixelated - that awful sound? That’s what this does. Technically the white noise is gone, but it sounds terrible. Wouldn’t recommend.

Doesn’t Work. At All.. Exported videos don’t match the previews inside the app. The previews sound great, but then on export I get either completely soundless videos or ones that seem to have not been filtered at all. Super disappointing because the in-app previews of filtered content sound great. Useless.

Crashes constantly. I haven’t been able to even test this app’s noise-reduction capabilities. It crashes every time I try loading a voice memo. iOS 12.1.4

Didn’t work. Just bought this based on reviews. It reduced background noise, sure, but also distorted other audio and just sounded really bad. Not a worthwhile purchase.

Horrible app, don’t buy!. This is a really bad app. It doesn’t do anything right. The noise reduction is plain and useless. The app crashes every 3 minutes and some functions straight up never load and consequently crashing the app as well. I felt I got stolen 2$. It’s horrible.

Sound quality ok. Some videos with hissing noise are ok, but others when listening in app sound great, but once saved, they are horrible. Sometimes worse than original. Crackling sounds or NO sound whatsoever. Please address. Also EQ option locks up the app.

Immediately Deleted the App. Wasted $1.99 - immediately deleted the app. After denoise you had no idea what the person was saying. Waste of my time and money.

Did Nothing. This app just Reduced the Voice , So You can change the volume Down Rather than downloading it .

Not worth it. This basically takes your entire audio and lowers the volume so whatever you were hearing is just taken down a few levels. It doesn’t clean up any background noise. It doesn’t enhance any voices.

So low >that it’s hard to even tell if there is sound in the video. (Its an easy fix though. I Just download a video editing app and turn the volume up) But I wish I didn’t have to do that.

Very poor app. the app for $1.99 only for the first minute of your audio and the video that describes how to use it is no help. I WANT MY MONEY BACK !

This is actually really good!. I’ve been removing noise on my PC, but this works about as well but is a lot easier and more convenient. I do wish I could choose smaller noise sample areas, but aside from that, great!

Trash. Doesn’t work. No way to isolate out the unwanted sounds. Basically drowns out all sounds. Pretty sure this is a middle schooler who created an app as a homework project.

Waste of money. Purchased the app to remove background noise from an audio clip. App distorted the vocals in the clip and didn’t even remove the background noise. Wish I could get a refund I feel I was ripped off. Do not purchase this app there is free software out there that works much better.

Spot On. This app is incredible for the price, removed a lot of distracting noise from my audio including a tv in the background which is hard to do.

Yes it denoises AND REDUCES ALL VOLUME. I was looking for an app to help reduce background noise, but this reduces everything too much to the point where you can’t hear the speaker. If it could fine tune the speaker vs the noise removal, we’d all pay 5x more for an app that works well!

Worthless. Noise removal sounds like it works in app, but when you export videos or audio the file that comes out is awful no matter what you do. Complete waste of money

I should have read more reviews. Read a couple of positive reviews and it sounded ok so I bought it. It’s crap. Takes forever to load the sound, if you mess up and accidentally click on another part of the clip, it has to reload the already loaded sounds. The tutorial isn’t helpful at all. Couldn’t get it to work and when it did...the total volume itself was reduced, not just the background noice.

Crap. Takes forever to upload the sound, minutes. Stays on zero forever and you wonder if it’s broken or doing it’s thing. Once you get to end point the video sounds so low that’s it’s crap.

Waste of money. App did one of two things - lower all sound without filtering noise, or distort the speaker’s voice so much they sounded like an alien. Somehow made my videos worse

Useless. Why there isn’t a zero star... I downloaded this app to reduce/suppress noise from my recording. My recording was about 50 min. It took forever and ultimately failed to upload the file.... Shoud say upfront that you can ONLY edit short recordings or video less than specific size of the file!!! I’m truly dissapointed...What a waste of money.

absolutely useless. I was trying to get rid of some air conditioner noise. Tried it on multiple segments of background noise only, and no matter what i do, it either doesn’t remove the background noise, or it distorts the voice of the speaker, or it makes the audio not match the speaker’s mouth moving. Good thing it was only $1.99. Still a terrible waste of money.

Great for the price. I bought this to us on my ipad where I edit video with LumaFusion. On my PC I have more sophisticated apps that do a much better job, but wanted one for the ipad. I tried it out on a very noisy clip that was sent to me for editing and posting. It took out about 80% of the noise. What I had to do was to find a spot with no voice from which to sample. Then once that was sampled it did not decrease the voices a great deal...though it did some. While I wish my other apps worked on the ipad, for the moment this will do just fine and for the price it is a bargain.

Inability to adjust the Denoise and the eq settings. I haven’t been able to adjust denoise and EQ settings for months. The other thing jail the longest deboise will let you upload is 4 mins, so if your video is 8 mins you’ll do this at two diff times.

Great idea but it won’t save the files.. This looked like a very promising app but It seems like they just can’t keep it up. She loading the file a minute demo filters amazing. Seriously so good. But sadly it just WON’T SAVE THE FULL FILE EVEN UNDER S MINUTE. Hopefully they will try to fix it. - I want my money back. 😢

Pretty good but... Hi Team, I like this app but please fix the issue that it crashes. I experience crash often when I enhance the speech audio (full strength) and trying to export it crashes….. somehow its fine to export with noise in the background 70-80% strength. Thank you

Do Not Buy. App doesn’t work...crashes When I could get it to carry out a whole ‘Denoise’ process (by making my clip really short) the quality was terrible and replaced the background sound with a high pitch tone... do not reccommend, would love a refund

Weird ticking noise. Helped remove echo but left with a weird ticking noise.

I like this app, despite the reviews. It works perfectly. But there is a glitch. Sometimes when I open Voice Memos, the Denoise icon won't show up in the export button. Can this be fixed? If it is, I'd give this a 5-star. 🙂

Don't do it. Difficult to use (two different types of controls with essentially the same actions) and even when you do get it to work, the result is substandard. Wish there was a way to get a refund.

Disappointed. That was my first app store purchase ever and I'm really not satisfied. The app just decreases the volume of the video !!! That's not what i payed for

Needs to be fixed. This app worked great until the last update or 2. Now it freezes as soon as you press the equalizer button. Please fix this issue and I’ll give it a 5 star

Horrible.. Do not download this item. You pay for it, then you discover it doesn’t work. This doesn’t remove noise. It makes your voice sound like an alien. It totally distorts the voice.

Catch a cheater. I put a recorder in my husband tow truck to find out if he was cheating but I didn’t know sum truck drivers use a descrambler incase the company they work for is recording them or tracking there location so my recording had a lot of frequency interference and background noise the point is this was one of the apps clears up the recording enough to see I was married to my enemy for 23 years so ya great app I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bug issues. The bug fixed seems to have caused other issues like not being able to zoom in on the audio anymore

Works for me. Best one I could find on ios and straightforward to use. I still have some noise in one of my clips but all the other apps left the remaining audio sounding like robots.

Great Tool (Not a Magic Wand). As an audio-industry professional with over a decade of production experience to my name, let me tell you a thing audio tools in general: you can't fix garbage. If your audio is totally ruined, this app (and all professional noise-reduction software on the market) will make your audio sound like it's under water. It's a horrible effect, but you can't blame the app, and that's what 99% of the negative reviews on here are about. This app can take great-sounding audio with an unfortunate swath of broadband noise and help clear up that noise, and that's all you could really ask a program like this to do. The fact that it's so easy to use is brilliant—just highlight a section between words or sound you want in your work, and the app automatically does the rest. My only wish-list items for this app is that it would be swell to have some control over the noise reduction. Also, being able to import just audio would be handy. Finally, Dropbox integration would be a real plus. All things considered, it's hands-down the best app on the market for what it does.

Broken. App crashes within a couple minutes on an iPhone 5s, so it's utterly unusable. The help and tutorial both don't work, so yeah don't buy this

What I needed Fast. I'm making a crowdfunding video and the source video had a hiss and hum in the background. It was terrible. This app did its thing and the sound was just fine for my purposes. Very pleased indeed.

Horrible do not get. I got this app because I wanted to go try out some voice memo that I got from school. This app is so bad. First: it won't let you delete anything 2nd: it takes forever to download anything. 3rd: it does not filter out any noise and if it does it's 20sec of the Voice memo

Not worth it.. After the noise reduction, I could barely hear the audio in my video. Based on cleaning up two videos, worth the price of admission wish I could get my money back.

Horrible app. It didn't work at all for me, in fact it added an additional noise to my video that was even more irritating and I couldn't figure out how to remove it so it is stuck on my video. I strongly discourage purchasing this app.

Didn't work for me. I tried adjusting several settings, but the app scrubbed out the audio I wanted without much effect on the background noise. On the plus side, the pricing was upfront.

Fantastic buy!. This app does exactly what it says on the tin. It takes sound files, lets you identify a sound that you would like to remove from the audio, and removes it. It really is that simple and it does a fantastic job of it at that. It has several other features as well such as converting voice memos to text but I haven't tried those features yet.

Do not waste your money. It does not work! It just lower your entire sound! Don't waste your money on this unless app!

Excellent app for eliminating hiss. I tried this app along with highly rated, paid noise reduction apps and this one was the best for eliminating microphone hiss.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would.. This app doesn't do anything with your audio quality except strip your videos of all noise and leave it to what sounds like a robot speaking instead of a person. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS. Did not work at all :/. If I actually took noise away it made the main voice or noise gargled (underwater like-sound) and lowered the volume so you could barely hear it. The tutorials didn't work and it definitely had large amount of glitches. :/

Disappointed. It removed the background noise but made my voice quality all muffled. I cannot use it for this reason. Also, the links to video tutorials do not work. Don't waste your money.

Potential!. I think this app has the potential to be very useful. Some things that would make it better: Easier cropping. I found myself battling with its sensitivity when I tried shortening the length of it. Crop size. I found it to be a little too large. The white noise in my video was isolated from other noises for only a brief moment and because the crop size was too large I was not able to select just the white noise, making the app unsuccessful for me. I think with these little improvements the app would become more versatile and useful to more people!

Worked great. This app works great. I recorded my dog howling at a very loud siren and this app was able to filter out most of the loud siren without losing her cute little howl. I did have to filter it, save the file, then filter again to get it quiet enough for my liking.

Choose wisely - Don't waste your money. This app may be useful for filtering large swathes of sound out of footage, say during a windstorm, but it's useless for delivering full rich sound in voice memos and soft spoken video. Not precise enough for a lot of things :/ wish I had my $ back

Works but needs more. Needs an undo button because once you denoise a section to see how it sounds, it stays. The tutorial is also broken. It doesn't go away after the first editing of a video, and it makes it very difficult to quickly edit an entire video.

Works well, but... I've been using this for some voice acting, and it works well. There's only one problem I have with it, and it's that the audio tends to bounce from one ear to the other after I "denoise" it.
