Works but keeps annoying you while working. At the end of the day, this app functions as a baby monitor. But they keep changing the pairing functionality so just as my baby is about to shuteye I’m going through with pairing, again. Also prompts you for “5 star” ratings non stop. I can come up with more annoyances. Ultimately, you know how good apps just get out of your way so you don’t even notice they are good? This app doesn’t do that.

It’s good. It’s good during the day. At night you have to turn on the iPad flashlight to see your kid, which is way too bright for us to be doing because it would wake him up. Also I tried several times to get the app to work on my phone before it would actually stay on. It also said I was drawing from “cellular data” when my phone was clearly connected to wi-fi. I canceled my free trial the first night.

Works great!. The Annie bm works beautifully but the signal will only be as strong as your home wifi. If you have latency it is likely your home network, not the app. This app works awesome in real time so I can see the baby at all times. Gives me great peace of mind and has actually allowed me to take a shower and do some laundry from time to time!! Can't be without it!

Great but freezes. I think it’s a really Great baby monitor/nanny cam, The only thing is my picture freezes after a few Minutes in , so you think everything is the same till you close it and reopen it and the baby’s Moved or somethings changed that you didn’t catch right away because the video monitoring freezes without you realizing at first. Otherwise it’s very useful no other issues and a really Great app would definitely recommend just need to close it open it again to make sure it didn’t freeze.

Worth it!. The baby monitor works and the video quality is great. I use my phone as the child unit and my iPad as the parent unit. Tried a few free ones and was disappointed every time. This does what it promises. I have used it for bedtime and multiple naps for the past few days. No issues. The motion sensor, microphone, and music features are perfection. Very good and reliable thing.

How does this have so many good ratings?. Hugely disappointing. I read great things about this app and read that there was a one time fee to buy the app and then no additional monthly fees. Turns out that’s not true AND it just doesn’t work well. It keeps disconnecting and constantly (literally every few seconds) alerts me that my baby is awake when he’s clearly deeply asleep, quiet, and still. Friends, don’t believe the hype. Do not recommend. What a waste.

Great travel app 👌. My husband works and travels a lot. Milan, Tokyo, Paris... and I'm at home alone with our one-month-old daughter. I know he feels bad because he goes away very often and he can't be with us. That is the reason why we bought the app. Now he can watch our daughter from every part of the world. Sure, sometimes the connection isn't the best, but it works and we are satisfied!

Lost connection at least once an hour during the night. I downloaded the app because my grandchildren were spending the weekend with me and I no longer have a baby monitor. My plan was to keep the app for future visits. The first night the app cut out every fifteen minutes and had to be restarted. The second night it cut out at least once an hour. I gave up and turned it off since everyone was asleep, but then I couldn’t sleep soundly because I couldn’t hear when the baby awoke. And then I come to find out I was double billed on top of it not working. I canceled my subscription and deleted the app. The developers believe that I am a competitor writing a bad review to hurt them so they “reported me to Apple”. Definitely not a competitor. I am a 63 year old grandmother of five who is just ticked off that I paid for an app that wouldn’t stay connected and that the developers take no responsibility for. I have since deleted the app and bought a monitor so I can have peace of mind when the kids visit.

Issues!. Serves it’s purpose however, I can’t talk on the phone while monitoring as well as I can’t rotate the screen to full screen. Reported the issue and it’s still not fixed. Just know you get what you pay for

Better than other baby monitors. Annie Baby Monitor is a life saver, when you go visit friends or stuff like that... The range is very good, the quality of video is awesome, the alerts allows you to be social instead of staring at the monitor. The white noises are perfect and the night light option very handy ! Definitely money well spent

No amount of bug fixes help. This is by far the worst purchase ever. With the frequency that they come up with bug fixes, it should at least work for 10’mins a day. But nope, it just doesn’t. The frame freezes, the app crashes, you reverse the camera once and the baby unit is stuck for good, i am still struggling to understand how does the sound sensitivity work here, you reduce its super sensitive, you increase the bar and it’s still the same, there’s no middle ground. You switch on the light bulb to check on the baby and it gets stuck, stand with both the units in hand and switched on and it still says waiting for parent unit to connect. It just about worked well in the free trial but i still went ahead and bought it for a full year- bad idea!!

Life saver. I have been using this app since 2018 and I can honestly say it’s been a life saver. If I’m at work or anywhere out of the house I have the ability to monitor both my babies sleeping in separate rooms at one time just by looking at my phone. Thank you for a good work developers!

Works well. The app has extensive features but I really don’t use many of them. It is an easy baby monitor we can use on any of our devices. The main problem is that the connection disconnects or freezes occasionally. I do get annoyed with it always asking to rate the app.

Very pleased with it. The microphone is so sensitive that it compensates for when the room is too dark and I can't see my kid. I use the iPad as the child cam and my phone as a parent cam and this works well. Phone to phone however doesn't work very well, but over all I am still pleased with the app. Thank you

Love it, has some iPhone 8 bugs. Affordable, easy user interface, far better than spending money on gadgets and hardware I don’t need with all these old smartphones in my junk drawer. iPhone 8 Bugs to address: The image tends to “float” away or black-out entirely when the image is magnified, which can be tricky when I want to keep the image zoomed in on the baby for long lengths of time. Also there have been periods when the image was frozen, but the sound was still active. I’ve resolved that but putting a clock in the background. I DO appreciate how sensitive the sound monitoring is. I can hear a pin drop I’m sure. Otherwise I highly endorse this app.

Reliable video baby monitor. I tried couple of baby monitor apps at the beginning, but I stay with Annie. This is by far the best baby monitor app. It has stable connection, it is easy to use and does everything what a regular baby monitor should do. I permanently placed my old, unused iPhone in the nursery as a child camera and I use my iPad or new iPhone as a parent unit. I love build-in white noises and lullabies, they are my lifesaver. I often use them to soothe my daughter to fall asleep in the evening. Many thanks Annie, you are the best baby monitor ever.

Awesome monitor!. This baby monitor I’ve bought instead of spending a ton on a video baby monitor. I love that I’m not only able to my toddlers from my phone, but I am also able speak into the phone, and they can hear me. So I don’t have to walk into their room so frequently. Love it

Love this app!. I love the baby monitor app! We didn't have one for the first several months and this has been an easy option for us. Because I can use devices I already have and use, it makes it easier for travel and setup. I'm really happy with this app and think it is definitely worth the money.

Worth every penny!. Works perfectly. Connects within a second or two. All the functionality you would expect. In my 3 months of using the app every day it has never dropped connection between iPhones. Worth every penny!

Phenomenal App!. This app is just what my wife and I were looking for! The connection is rock solid, even when I’m away from the house. And the display shows the monitor’s battery level, which gives me huge peace of mind. I found using the camera’s flash as a night light woke the baby, so I put a couple of layers of red electrical tape over it to dim the flash. Now it’s perfect! I’d give this app 10 stars if I could!

This saved me!. My child’s monitor has fallen and I was unaware it was broken until it was dying and wouldn’t charge. I even took it apart and put the piece back that had gotten loose but it was a lost cause. My husband is deployed and I couldn’t just go out and get another one with my child asleep. I knew I could hear him from my room but didn’t like the idea of not seeing him. On a whim I searched monitors in the App Store and came across this! For $3 to use until the new one gets here is more than worth it! Unfortunately you can’t mount an iPad so at night I couldn’t see my son well, but once it’s light it’s fine. Super thankful to have found this!

INSECURE! my admin password was changed right after first use. Someone apparently used this app to hack my Mac and my admin password. It worked for 5 min, then froze, then said the camera was 'sleeping', no fix for that despite reading all docs and FAQ. But then when I tried to reinstall, macos required my admin password to delete the app (which it's never done before) - and my admin password, which I'd just used, had been changed!! So, unable to delete the app and knowing my Mac is likely being exploited, all I'm able to do is tape over the camera. Don't even consider messing with this flustercluck, even if it worked properly and was secure, the idiotic interface and constant 'features tour' interruptions alone are infuriating.

Best Video Baby Monitor for iPhone. This app is a great nanny cam. Does every thing what a regular video baby monitor, for only couple of dollars. Easy to use, reliable with stable connection. This app gave a new life to my old phone, that now works as a child camera placed in a nursery. I love the way how I can do my own baby care with this app.

Love this app, but…. I use this app almost daily. Everything is fine, almost always, but sometimes I have a problem connecting two devices. Sometimes it works fine, sometimes it takes time and I have to reset the device. Which is a problem when I want to put my child to sleep, but I have to deal with this.

Nice!. Honestly we weren’t gifted a baby monitor at our baby shower so I was searching for monitors when I came across the baby monitor. I love love love it. So easy to use. I love that I can just use my iphone because it’s so convenient. It’s reliable and so easy to use. I’ve never had an issue with it. Great not only for vacation. So, we went on this great vacation to one special, beautiful place in France. Me, my husband and our 5 month old daughter. And we just needed to have some alone time, only for us. We are tired parents all the time, we really deserve some rest and fun. You know, just breathe and lay down, watch some stupid series, eat something delicius. But I forget my baby monitor at home, as always. I thought that everything was ruined. Then we found this app and tried it, and it worked for us so well! It was really easy to set up. I was very surprised, how practical this app is. What a relief!! Now, finally, I can have my deserved rest and be sure to keep my baby safe and sound. And yes, I can always have one eye on my little precious one and keep my glass of “water” safe and sound, when we “netflix and chill”. We will definitely use this regularly. If only I knew about this app before I bought that expensive baby monitor, that I don't need anymore. I have to thank a lot for this app, Annie Baby Monitor made me feel like a person again.

Good solution. I wasn’t sure about using cell phone application for baby monitoring. Than I though - Oh well, I could give it a shout, why not! My daughter is 2 years old and she is a little monkey, climbing out of her cot all the time. She is quite hyperactive, so it’s very handy to have the video, the sound and the microphone too, so she knows I’m always watching and she can get caught whatever she’s doing! Very happy with it indeed!

Works great!. Me and my husband are able to use this on both our phones and it's so convenient! I walk out dogs very often (close by our house) and don't want to wake the baby every time. Being able to hear him by just carrying my cell phone is just perfect!

Really helpful. I found out about this application from my parents. They are very loving grandparents to my kids so they are always trying to find some new way how to be better in grand-parenting. It honestly surprised me how easily they came along with this application. I would never think it’s gonna be them explaining to me how to use cell phone app! Not mentioning the convenience of it while the kids are asleep. Did I mention I have twins and they are always chatting in their beds? Even though they are not small babies anymore, it’s always handy to keep and eye on my little cheeky monkeys.

Baby monitor for good price. I live in apartment and had hardware baby monitor to monitor my newborn baby. But it was so bulky and cumbersome that I just used it once or twice. I found review for Annie. I was surprised that the baby monitor was at a good price. A couple of using, this baby monitor worked perfectly, I was so happy. I especially liked the feature lullabies, we use it almost every night.

Good Baby Minitor. The only reason I didn’t give this a 5 star is because I would like the picture quality to be much better. Being that I use two iPhones for this service I excepted the picture quality to be much better but it’s not. The sound quality is great tho. Another thing to consider is that it doesn’t have night vision. So I guess that’s why the picture quality is so bad when there is low light. Some things to note is that during the day, when there is light, the picture quality amazing. The only thing I would like them to do is update the resolution and add a (night vision) feature. I use the baby cam because I have to keep a close eye on my son who is epileptic and having a light on at night is not ideal, so I just can’t wait for that new update to see how well it does. Otherwise great app for only 30$ a year!

The best baby care I could have. Before having my son I did some research to find a good baby monitor, but I harshly realized that their prices were out of this world! So, me being an apple user with multiple apple products decided to look for an app that could do the same and then I found this app that does what any other expensive baby monitor would do saving me a ton of money! I highly recommend this to all the future mommas that are looking for a budget friendly baby monitor! Annie Baby monitor is the best!

A+ in every aspect. Well done!. Works great! Love it! Originally purchased when in a pinch late at night as a security cam to protect $15k of toys, tools and equipment in an unattached garage at my home after I happened to interrupt some thieves breaking in. Liked it so much I bought a year of service and it’s notified me handful of times to potential thieves trying to take my stuff (extremely high crime area). Also have used to give me advanced notification for when expected (or unexpected) visitors arrive. Used frequently for almost a year now w/ only a minor issue and to remedy the situation I had to close app on both devices and relaunch (which may not have been the app and could be the connection with the internet provider, cell provider or the old iPhone SE or the brand new latest iPhone I was using). Highly recommend

Incredible baby monitor app!. As young, budget-conscious parents we were thrilled to try using an old smartphone as a baby monitor instead of paying for overpriced baby monitors. This app is incredible! We love seeing our baby boy on the video and be able to calm him thru the app.

I never liked the classic baby monitor. Which you couldn’t just put into the pocket and go due to the size and you could never be sure if it’s on or off. I’m quite surprised how easy is using this app. I like the video a lot and also the fact it tells me when my baby is awake.

My family and I are satisfied. It works properly and as was expected. I don't have any problems with connection or anything else. It has clear video and perfect sound. I can hear if my baby is crying immediately. Also, other members of my family say the video and the sound are very clear.

The best solution for parents. I absolutely love this app! I’m so glad we didn’t spend the unnecessary money on video monitors. These work perfectly fine for us! We’ve been using it since our first son, who is now two and a half. We have his iPad set up in his room and we had an extra iPhone, so use that in our five month old’s room. Very unethical.. I downloaded the app and selected the option for being a free user of their app. I know they sell a premium version with upgraded features but I just needed it for a night. After setting it up and putting it in the babies room, my wife noticed in the morning that the “monitor” was no longer active because this wonderful company shut it off the very first night and said the free trial has expired even though there was no knowledge of that when setting it up. That is an utterly disgusting and unethical thing to do when you know parents are going to rely on your app. There are ways to make money and I understand this is a business, but when you pull stuff like that, I wish nothing but bad fortune on this company.

It really helps. Wow such a great helper and reliable baby monitor. I use Annie for couple of weeks and I can not say anything bad about it. What I like most is that I can leave older iPhone in the charger and connect to it anytime. It’s always ready to monitor like usual baby monitor.

Great baby monitoring solution 👍. It's awesome. Works perfectly. Can't believe I could get it for so cheap, I would have otherwise spent $300 on a monitor system and would not been as happy. I bought an iPhone wire holders, called a "spider podium" so I can prop the "monitor" phone up and I watch on my iPad. When I'm not at home I use my husband's iPhone as the "monitor" and my iPhone as the "viewer". It's so nice to always have a baby monitor with us and not have to bring along extra stuff for day trips or overnight trips. When our baby was newborn we used to use the music. All the features are well thought through. I wrote support one day to ask about an enhancement and got a response within minutes. I have no complaints about this app, only faves. I recommend it to all my friends.

Our favourite app. I had my first baby soon (17) and when I was pregnant the second time, the doctor told me it would be triplets. Omg! After the experience with my oldest one, I was quite scared first. I could not imagine taking care of three babies at the same time. But today I know that it can be done. I must say what helped me a lot was also a good baby monitor, the Annie Baby Monitor!

This app is really worth to pay for. We have been using this ANNIE BABY MONITOR app for 18 months now, and it has never failed us! For me, it is absolute sleep saver. I can set this up and have my own free time for myself, I can read, cook, have a long bath, watch my favorite movie, and fall asleep with the TV on - I love that and I really missed that lately. Now I can do it all with no shame and no worries, because annie baby monitor is watching my kids for me. It will let me know when my free time is over, when that awful crying starts, and then I can choose If I wanna go and “save” my babies (from nothing) or continue with just chilling ;) Keep it calm - its a joke... First I thought that I need to buy some baby monitors, cameras and stuff, but other experienced mothers (unlike myself) recommended this app, and it is definitely worth it. Cheaper, saved time, works well, helped a lot… It is very easy to set up (and I don't use apps at all). Great thing is that Annie always let us know when the battery drops below 20 %, and I didnt found this feature in other similar apps.

Still love the app. I have been using this app for a wee while now and I truly love it. Not even I don’t fancy the design of the ‘normal’ baby sitting devices, I also think these aren’t very reliable. This app is very cheap and easy to use!!! Even my mum who is not very good with devices can use it whenever she wants to see the kid!

Connection issues. Typing on phone so this will be brief... Baby Monitor Annie works relatively well but we’ve had several connection issues. The iPad we’re using as a camera unpairs with our phones off and on throughout any nap or overnight and the app crashes overnight at least a couple times a week. Biggest issue for me is that the app appears to draw from cellular data even when a strong WiFi signal is available. Data usage on my phone spiked from 1.x GB a in a billing cycle to over 8 GB since we started using this app and I know our WiFi is good because we had a tech from the cable company come out and run diagnostics last week. I’ve taken to turning off cellular data while we’re using the app but it shouldn’t have to come to that.

Finally a good solution. I was looking for something like this for quite a long time. I’ve been recommended to use this Baby monitor app and was really surprise - it works great and my baby loves when I play songs to him while asleep.

Great app. I love gardening and being outside when my little boy is napping after the lunch. I was always worried that I won’t hear him, the battery is going to run out or something else just not going to work with the classic (and expensive) baby monitors. It’s so handy to have the app on the phone (on me) all the time! Plus I can see him, so that’s a big pro for Annie Baby Monitor!

False Advertisement. Not good.. This app is finicky, it makes my phone freeze up so I had to force my phone to shutdown. It does have a video ability but literally the whole point of a video baby monitor is to watch them while they’re sleeping in the dark and this app’s idea of “night vision” is literally turning your phone flashlight on to see your kid, which is not night vision and also will definitely wake my baby up. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Not the app for me.

What a great app!. It simply works. It is intuitive, functional, and extremely convenient. What a great tool to have when we travel with our baby, or go to a friend or family's house. We can put the baby to sleep in another room with the comfort of knowing that you can hear or see if he wakes up or cries, without having to constantly check in on him. Very useful and handy app, thank you.

WARNING: DONT BUY. I purchased a lifetime subscription for access anywhere It’s never worked properly and their support was Terrible. I asked for a refund.... radio silence... I Reopened the app today as we had a child staying with us and now not only was it not working, it asked for extra $$$ for cellular connection which I already paid for!!

What a great app. This app has been a lifesaver. I don't know what we would have done without it.

Rubbish!!!. Downloaded and attempted to use but it just wouldn't work. The parent unit wouldn't connect to the child unit to receive the sound & footage despite being paired correctly. Not to mention that it kept telling me we had zero minutes remaining of the trial (you get 30mins) and we hadn't even used it 1 minute. I've never written a review of an app before, but I felt so strongly about this after wasting so much time (and as a busy mum, who has time to waste?!) and having it not work. Don't waste your time with this app!

Great. This app is a complete treasure. I think I love this app so much because I’m able to get a break from time to time thanks to it. Annie does what it advertises really well, audio and video are good quality and what I like best is that it doesn’t drain my battery like other apps tend to.

Good but needs work. I downloaded and purchased the full version and it continuously drops out and disconnects.

Please fix bugs in latest update!!. The latest update of Annie does not function!! There are so many bugs. The most significant is that the monitor disconnects without warning or any notification. Too bad if you think you are listening out for your child. It has none of the features of the old app and the support email does not appear to be monitored as I have had no response after 4 days. The links provided in the auto reply email direct you the pages on the website that don’t exist. Please make the old version of the app available on App Store again!! I would advise others not to purchase this until a newer (or older) version is released.

Often doesn't work. On a regular basis the parent device says it's working, but does not play any audio from the baby's room. It's really annoying to have to check and reset the device before each nap.

Waste of time, only works for 30 mins. Don't bother unless you want to pay as only works for 30 mins!! This is not a fully working monitor with advertising as written on the description!!

DM. Would be better if video was able to connect 2 ways and music/play list does not work. Lots of add on costs even to access if not on same wifi. Brightness function is glitchy and display stays up for some time before disappearing which gets annoying when just checking. Happy to keep using tho.

Amazing baby monitor app!. I have used many different monitors but this one is just fantastic! Everything is super easy to setup and use. One of the best features is the Apple Watch support. The video and audio is almost always very clear with barely any interruptions.

Ruined. Since the new update this app has become so unreliable. The connection drops out all the time, if my devices even register a connection at all, and more often than not, no sound will actually register. I can no longer use this as my normal baby monitor. So disappointing as it used to be so good.

Comprehensively useless. We've tried so many times - through so many versions - to make this app work, but it just doesn't. App update after app update promises connectivity reliability improvements but they never work. Frequently lose device pairing. Usually at least one of the devices won't connect. On the odd occasion that both connect, connectivity usually only lasts a minute or two. If there is one thing a baby monitor needs to do: it is provide a reliable connection. "Stunningly reliable"? No it isn't. Frankly, not good enough.

Really Works!!. Highly recommended! For a fraction of the price of baby monitors in stores you can have this app! There are so many functions I think a tutorial would be handy for the settings.

Worst update ever.. Earlier versions were flakey and annoying but at least the functionality was there some of the time. You have scaled down the functionality and made it necessary to authenticate daily on multiple devices - plus not even last through a night? You should be ashamed of yourselves. I would love to see this rolled back or at least have my money back on the original purchase. — Now not working after IOS update. This app represents the antithesis of technology. F you very much. If there is anyone reading this that wants to be able to monitor their child this app is not the solution.

Terrible after the update. I would give it no stars if I could. I Agree with all the most recent reviews of this app. We were so happy with the previous version where there were many features (including being able to talk to your child through the monitor) and they’ve take all that away. What a waste of purchasing the full app only to be cheated like this. It drops out without any warning and you get woken up by hearing your child actually creaming because you haven’t attended to them in a long time!

Excellent app. Have been using it for almost 2 years now and have no complaints. Works very well over WiFi. Occasionally drops out but very easy to fix by resetting app or router. Highly recommend

Getting worse after each update. This app used to be really before the redesign. It never connects and when it does it disconnects again and again. I hear no static when the sensitivity is at the highest. Worst app ever. I want my money back!!!!!!

An absolute life saver. Such a perfect app. We’re travelling and being able set it up anywhere in a matter of minutes has been fantastic. I just keep my phone handy and we know exactly wher Bub is up to

Works well. I found this app and it literally just saved our life. Annie Baby Monitor is very easy to setup and connect. Just use some old or extra smartphone, I think everybody has one, or you can always buy some cheap one, right? It is definitely cheaper than usual digital baby cam monitor, and yes I tried them, I even have them somewhere, but I don't need them or use them anymore. This works better for me. At first I didn't trust this, because I don't trust apps in general. I felt like it wouldn't work well or it would be stressful for me to believe only in some app. But then I found out that I can try this app for free. So after the first few days using this app for free, I realized, It works exactly as the description. I don't have to be worried about anything. I haven't had any problem using this app. So Annie baby monitor makes decisions about the baby crying based on the level of noise in the room. I needed to set things up, it took a while, but it is very well worth it. Great app! It really works just fine!

Was good. Made horrible with the latest update. Was a really good app for baby monitoring. But with the latest update the subscription which we paid for a year to access anywhere is now gone. We can only get wifi access. The user interface is a complete mess now. No landscape mode for the app. I could go on. But it’s pointless now.

Great when it works!. Works on iPhone and iPad, video works well, and I love the feature where it notifies you when the noise level in baby's bedroom goes above a certain level. I was initially frustrated by this app, as my devices failed to make connections reliably. With help from their support and some digging around online, I made adjustments to my home wifi setup (separate 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz networks, and make the Annie devices not use the same as my laptop) and since then the connection is made reliably.

They have ruined a perfectly good app. I am so so disappointed. I have used this app as my baby monitor for the last three years. It worked really well, was visually appealing and provided useful information from throughout the night (that I could scroll back through in the morning to see if the kids woke, and how long they were awake or had disturbed sleep, etc.) as well real-time feedback when sound was made over a certain decibel level (which you could control). In the latest update the user interface has been changed to be clunky and not self-explanatory at all. It took me forever to link my devices and figure out which one was the baby device and which one was the parent device. There is no information provided regarding noises made and the monitor actually just turned off over night. I am so sad that this app has been ruined.

Trial period not honoured. Site and app promoted a trial period of three days. We canceled within that time period and was charged the full year, no refund provided. Remarkable untrustworthiness. Very disappointed.

So far so good.. We've been using this app for about a week now and it's the best $6 we have invested. Standard shop bought baby monitors don't work in our apartment because the signal doesn't work between floors. This product only needs wifi and works a treat. Sound quality is really good as well. Only catch is you need to apples devices.

Lovable app. I believe that this was the best investment I have ever made. We've used it for years now and it just keeps getting better. I bought some other baby monitors and other apps on the menu for my newborn, but this just works best so we use only this app. It is really simple to use with more features than most baby monitors. We use this with two paired tablets and two paired phones, to my surprise, it can do it all. Annie Baby Monitor can easily connect to multiple devices. That is simply amazing and I didn't find this to working so well in other apps. We've used it for years and it keeps getting better. This app have great support too. You can always try a free trial. You, of course, have to check the battery capacity, I found out that it works better when you have your phone on the charger the whole time. But maybe it depends on what kind of phone do you have. Other big thing is that you need to have a good network connection, but otherwise everything works just great. But don't worry, this baby monitor doesn't consume much of that battery capacity or data.

New update is TERRIBLE. The new and improved app is terrible. The notifications are not reliable. Drops out all the time. Bring back the old Annie I say. I cannot use the app on other devices say if my mother comes over to look after my child. Just terrible. I have used it with no problems for the last 16 months.

Baby monitor. Love the concept of turning your phone into a makeshift baby monitor. I originally got this app a few months back and have been using it daily ever since. I'm no techno mum, but installation was very straightforward and pairing happens during the first time you setup the app. The audio & video are as clear as one can expect from the iphone camera, and it also supports monitoring more than 1 baby at once

A must have on your baby checklist !. Don't waste your money on a dedicate baby monitor, this has only the features you actually need. Just use your old iPhones or iPads and this app. Amazing i can still view via my Apple Watch !

Horrible. It was never reliable. Multiple times woke up from hearing my baby’s actual crying and the app still thought he was asleep. This latest upgrade has completely ignored the fact that people might have used this app because they have an old phone they could use as the child monitor. Now they’re not supporting iOS 10 so older phones don’t work anymore. I found a much better app that works very well on iOS 10. I can’t believe they can release an update like this - taking out a lot of features that people may have purchased the old version for

It really works!. Cheap but excellent solution to monitoring your baby. Video is perfect quality too. Very reliable and has been great for our first 6 weeks as parents!

Issues with purchase / false advertising. Seems to be working now but an absolute mess to setup. We tried the free download to trial which worked (this app version), then thought we would purchase the pro version as it looked good... which does not work, it wants an extra $6 for any device ie if you download and pay IT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL you need to download again on the receiving device. As that wasn’t working at all and wouldn’t paid we then tried the in app upgrade on this version for $11 which sort of works... but it does not work as soon as you are off the same WiFi, ie only suited for in-house /next room type setup where one network. To get it working on any differing network you need to purchase a further $3 a month cloud plan for access externally. Very frustrating and disingenuous advertising. Will be seeking a full refund for pro version. Will see how this one functions and hopefully won’t need to be getting refunds for this. Hope this helps someone.

What happened??. The latest update is pretty unstable, lost a heap of features and you have to log in every time. Now it doesn't recognise my devices! This is so disappointing. And to charge 2.99 weekly? Do something fast. Yesterday! You got some very frustrated parents here.

Great app with video. Our friends use it on a daily basis and that is why we tried Annie too. I am impressed by the quality of both audio and video monitoring.

Waste of money. I purchased the Annie monitoring app and I liked the features of the app. It worked for a little while but eventually kept booting me out and freezing. I figured an update might help but when I did, it updated to this extremely simple version that only tells you if there’s noise in the room or not, and I lost all of the features that I had previously when I purchased the app.

Terrible app. Crashes loses connection only free for 1 hour then wants 13.99 Deleted.

Battery. Love this app, but after a night, the parental mode take all the battery of the iphone. So in the morning my iphone was shutting down.

Terrible Customer Service. I bought this app before it was a subscription. Every time they update it it gets harder to use. I can’t even log in anymore. No response from their contact email. Luckily my baby isn’t a newborn anymore. Honestly you should spend your money elsewhere

Good. I like the app but I would like to be able the select the notification sound. The app says "Baby is awake", but I'd rather have a loud and clear "ding".

Do not purchase - it’s a scam. Scam - bought the app for $13.99 and now it no longer works. It prompts me to purchase a yearly membership to use their cloud server for $12.99 per year (or $2.99 per month) - as this is the only way it works between different operating systems - I’m using iOS 11.4 on both devices (parent and child). Just updated to make sure the operating systems were the same (and they are) and it still says it won’t work on different operating systems and prompts me to purchase use of their cloud. Emailed them and asked for a refund on my $13.99. *I wouldn’t be upset if the app was free and the yearly subscription for their cloud cost something. I want my money back.

Not worth it. Maybe okay if just using speaker but video feed is not reliable. It has problems connecting constantly, video will freeze, and monitor will disconnect, even with the strongest wi-if. Not reliable enough with a little one.

Makes watching baby easy!. We love this useful app.

The idea is great. I purchased this app a bit over a month ago. From the start I couldn’t get the sound feature to work other than crackling. The video feed worked sometimes but froze quite often. Sometimes it didn’t work at all even when I held the parent monitor right next to my baby. Also the night vision wasn’t very good at all. Kind of useless to have my baby sleep in a dark room then be looking at a black screen on the parent unit. I did troubleshoot it with their tech support which didn’t fix anything, but they were prompt and genuinely trying to help. I even sent in system data from the app itself. I then decided I wanted to have a refund and have now sent 3 emails via different methods to the app and developer but haven’t gotten a reply. I have a feeling I won’t get a refund which is extremely frustrating because I gave the app a fair shot and it just didn’t work for me. Don’t buy it. The idea is great but not worth the hassle and price.

Frequent crashing, glitches. Great idea but frequently crashes, freezes devices.

New version removed functionality. Honestly the new app sucks big time. The only camera is the selfie one on the iPad, which is bad quality and has the screen facing the kid. Plus there is almost no tracking or settings available, whereas the old version had a graph of recent sounds, possibility of changing luminosity, adjusting the device position without the parent device to check the camera angle... I had bought the licence on the old version for unlimited WiFi monitoring, and honestly this cash has gone to the garbage now. And seeing what the new app is, there is no way I recommend buying any membership from them. I mostly monitor the babies in the summer when at night I go to the poolside and have a drink with friends, so basically this app is on probation until June. If nothing has changed until then, it will be deleted from my iDevices.

Upgrade for worse. We used to use the old version and it was great. After the update it turned into one of those apps that makes you want to bash your phone against the wall. It won’t let me log in and it won’t let me buy the app again(possibly because I have a valid membership) anyway, we’ve switched to something else

The developer will rip you off. Don’t buy this! As soon you pay your money, they will change the app and make it unusable. You will be surprised to see a “new” app from them with the same functionality you paid for, but as a brand new one.

Terrible. This is a terrible app. The old version was great but the new updates were obviously designed by someone who has ever monitored a baby. The only camera is the selfie camera which means you have to shine the bright screen on your baby to see them, the pairing system is ridiculous and half the time it won’t show one of the phones, there is no mute function, and no timer.... overall they should have just kept going with the old version and not have made the “improvements”

Great help with my baby. I put my iPad on the windowsill and can watch my kids play on my yard from my computer or iPhone. I don’t use any of the functions for little babies as my kids are older but I do watch them on video from time to time just to make sure they’re not at each others throats (too much 😂)

Can’t restore purchase.. Purchased the full version of the old app. It updated and now it’s just error codes when you try to restore the purchase.

Connects about 10% of the time. This app is such a pain. The parent unit only seems to connect to the baby unit’s video about 10% of the time. I’ve reset the wifi, restarted both devices, closed the app, update the version… nothing has worked. It’s so unreliable that I’ve given up.

Don’t waste your money. Nothing but frustrating. Zero success with this app and lots of wasted time trying to fix it and chase a refund. Horrible experience.

The best!. We tried many baby monitor apps, by far my favourite, easy to use and so convenient since you always have your devices on you, and travel with them too. Highly recommend. Super reliable.

Not happy. This doesn’t work

Brutal waste of money. 12.99 for the app and if you want to use it while on LTE you’ll need to pay for a cloud subscription from the developer. What a genuine waste of money. I question how this app was approved by Apple to sell in the App Store. And if you decide to pay the 12.99 plus pay for the cloud subscription, I can guarantee you’ll be ripping your hair out trying to get this junk to work. Fool me once.

What an awful App. My husband and I both downloaded this app and it worked the first time but kept cutting out after that. More recently it failed to let me know my son had woken up and the poor guy had been crying for who knows how long. It was very upsetting situation. We would like to get our money back.

BAD FOR KIDS. So I was downloading a app for my baby and I found this I decided to get it and I left it for a second without logging in and my kid didn’t know that I didn’t log in so she grabbed it and pressed the button that said 60$ year so she told me and she didn’t know if she said yes or no so now I don’t l don’t know if I’m about to get charged so DONT GET THIS APP IF YOU HAVE KIDS!!

Works when it wants to. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. It disconnects all the time. My husband and I have to tiptoe in our baby’s room to connect it again fearing our baby will wake and sometimes he has woken up. It’s very frustrating after putting our baby down to sleep having to go back to the room to reset the other phone. Super disappointed

Absolutely Great. We don’t have a baby to watch, but this app is excellent for security— hotel or home. All you need is an old iPhone or iPad. It just works. This app has really big potential to be the best video monitor ever.

Don’t pay for it. Not worth the money. There is no way to see anything if it’s at all dark in the room. The connection rarely works even with perfect wifi. Incredibly disappointed and wish I hadn’t signed up for the free trial because now I paid $60 for an app I’ll never use.

Doesn’t work great anymore!. I downloaded this app when my baby was first born and it worked great. I recently revisited this app to monitor my baby’s nap time now that he is mobile and can get out of bed himself. It never stays connected now. I thought it was my wifi at first but it’s definitely the app. I was vey disappointed because I really liked this app in the beginning.

Please make auto-brightness optional. In the middle of the night in a dark room, the last thing I want is for my parent unit to auto adjust brightness to 50% at every slightest touch. It’s blinding and painful and just needed, please take it off or make it optional.

Unreliable. I would give less than one star if I could. This product is awful, unreliable and constantly disconnects. The audio goes in and out and there’s no way to know when the baby is actually crying. Pathetic. Save your money. Provides no peace of mind.

Great Baby Monitor. Has different frequency settings so does no register a noise machine as “baby awake.” You can also use as a video monitor.

Perfect gift. I received Annie Baby Monitor as a gift from my sister a few months ago and love it.

Subscription doesn’t work. DO NOT BUY. Purchased subscription, was charged, yet app won’t register and says trial expired. Have tried restoring purchases, force quitting multiple times, and rebooting multiple times. This may have something to do with their recent update, but is a total ripoff either way. Will be charging back on my credit card and informing Apple.

Baby cam works great. Works great, really the video quality is great. If you have 2 kids can monitor both at same time and have sleep information for each separately. Sometimes the baby can pick up softer noise

Very disappointing experience. Hello, Our experience with Annie Monitor was very disappointing. We signed up for the free trial and then we tried to cancel our membership though the app did let us cancel it and they charged us. We tried to contact them but their customer service did not respond… my advice would be to stay away from this app.

I am satisfied. We use the Annie Baby Monitor to have video calls with an aging parent who cannot pick up the phone anymore. It is an ‘elder care’ device that works!

No Night Vision. This is a solid camera app with high quality video, but it doesn’t truly have night vision. It activates the flashlight on the baby unit and allows you to adjust the light intensity to get a clear image in the dark. The intensity required to see my child would cause them to wake up, so this is unusable for me.

Love the design and functions. Me and my husband are both using it every day. Don’t know what I would be doing without it anymore! Only think I’m sure of - I would never go back to the “radio type” baby sitters.

Terrible app. I purchased this app to use on vacation and it didn’t work at all. If there wasn’t any bright light in the room, you were not able to see a single thing which defeats the whole purpose of using this to monitor a sleeping baby. It was a complete waste of money.

Doesn’t work at all????. The description says pair two iphones or a watch. But you can’t use the watch as the parent device?! So there’s no video available since the watch can’t take video, obviously. But it absolutely did not work at all. I shouted into the watch even with my phone set as the parent unit and it didn’t register a single thing. What junk
