I paid for Manga Storm. I had the original Manga Storm app which I paid $3 for. I loved the app and downloaded lots of mangas through the app. Of course all the supported websites got shut down, so the app to went away. I downloaded this thinking it’s supposed to be the new version, and I’d get the upgraded version as I did previously with the original app. That did not happen. Is there a way for my original purchase to carry over into this app?

New app. Just make make a new manga storm app and make it so we can download it from the internet or shortcuts app

Awesome app. I love this app I used another app to download NINTINDO power magazines all first 140 issues of the mag some of it was PDF but others weren’t PDF this app loads both types

Perfect. Does exactly what you want it to. Nothing else comes close, especially for free. The ads aren’t that bad.

Very disappointed. Coming from the Manga Storm app, I got the new iPhone 12 and can’t find it in the App Store anymore. Figured this would be a better updated version of that ,considering it’s from the same people. Unless you are buying or have files downloaded of comics somewhere, this app is worthless. Don’t count on the ease of copying a web link and having access to a series anymore. In fact, don’t count on reading any comics unless you want to download on pc and connect to your own cloud service. Virtually worthless. I regret upgrading to pro so quickly and spending g money on this trash. This is not the Manga Storm you know and love

MANGASTORM. idk if ya think ya slick or something but I used to have manga storm when it was blue. And you guys deleted it from the AppStore and made a whole brand new app; can’t even restore my purchase from the last one I PAID for. SMH Give me my money back, or upgrade me to the pro and I’ll change my review.

Does everything I want it to. Easy to access all my comics, easy to read

Has some issues. Reader is great. My problem is the comic server. For example I set google drive as my source for comics. I can search and find my comics very easily but the app keeps unloading my current comic every couple of hours. This means every tine I want to keep reading where I was instead I have to navigate to the directories and search for my comic again. Worse part are trade paperbacks because they take longer to load and losing your spot is way more annoying. Some type of caching needs to be implemented.

No way to get Manga. As a manga reader I’m very disappointed can’t find away to get my manga added and it’s very annoying been spending an hour to find ways to add manga no videos at all. Gonna take my time else where very disappointed.

Great app. Loved the free version so much that I decided to pay for the upgraded version. It’s cheap, and it’s a great app. I don’t know how to use the servers or anything, but loading from iTunes is simple.

Excellent reader. A great way to enjoy comics. Easy controls, unobtrusive ads, highly recommended.

Could use an update for ios13. Works great as advertised back in a few years ago. But now with iOS 13, there should be a way to open downloads from Safari and Apple Files in Manga Storm. Despite a command that says Copy to Manga Storm in Safari when opening a download, it actually does not copy to Manga Storm. Would update my review if there is an update that fixes this.

No instructions on how to use. How do you add the links to comic book sources???? Zero explanation on the app or web page or Facebook page

Good reader. Gives my library options to sort the way I want, plus access it over Google drive, Dropbox, or my FTP. The Ui could be better but that's just me being picky.

Ads have sound. Some ads play sound.

Good App. Ads a little annoying but great quality for free. Is able to get files from a wide variety of sources and the ability to sort is a nice touch.

What happened to manga storm?. I noticed manga storm was delisted and I can’t redownload it. Any reasons?

It's better than nothing. I wish I could save the comics to my phone to view, instead of having to re-download it if I have to close the app for any reason. Plus the pop up adds that sometimes appear prevents you from finishing the issue, so you have to re-download it.

Great app!. This app works fantastically! I’ve used other comic book readers, but this one makes it so easy to get files from an online storage site. One improvement to be made would be to include an option for double page spreads when in landscape mode. Thank you for creating this app!

Exactly what I wanted!. This app is perfect. Easy to upload, organize, and read all my comics without having to worry about a constant wifi connection. Packed full of features that made me gladly upgrade to the paid version, and I'm usually pretty reluctant to do that with other apps.

Great app. Anyone who's complaining about not being able to get free manga is an idiot. Just download it you fools! I have one complaint, and its an extremely simple one to fix. When i am in landscape mode i am forced to swipe up/down to flip the page, when i would prefer to swipe horizontal. Seems like a arbitrary restriction. And i hope it gets fixed soon.

Uploading could be easier. Currently I can only upload one pdf/cbr file at a time from my local device, if there could be a way where more than one can be uploaded that would make transferring my manga there much faster and not have to deal with the back and fourth. Other than that, the pro version is great and this is the exact app I was looking for. Thank you so much !

Upgrade to the paid version, its worth it!. The free version is fine but the advertisements get super distracting. I shelled out a couple of bucks for the paid version a couple of years ago and haven't looked back. Totally worth it. Just a great comic/manga reader. 'Nuff said!

Great app. I would give this app five stars if there were a way to get rid of or disable the arrow animation whenever you switch between landscape and portrait mode other than that it’s perfect

It’s a great app! / Upgrade to pro. I dig the setup and capabilities of this app, but the adds did get annoying, so I just upgraded. My only wish is that this reader would sync across my devices. Maybe it does and I haven’t figured out how to yet because I just upgraded to pro. Other than that, it’s a great app!!!!

Nope. Not the one.. I am glad that I did not delete my older app. I have not been so frustrated trying to transfer files than I have in the 30 minutes I spent trying to do so with this app. I was under the assumption that this was same as the original Manga Storm app. I was wrong. I even have some comics, that I paid for personally, downloaded on to my phone and I couldn’t even get those to show. You may as well just stick to whatever way you’re reading now than downloading this app.

Low key kinda mad they removed Manga Storm {original}. Bruh why did you remove the regular manga Storm? I have quite a bit of manga stored on there and it’s going to be a bi*ch and a half to find and download all of them to this app. I mean like, why?

Not like manga storm. Manga storm and manga storm CBR are different I paid for this thinking they were the same I now regret it I miss manga storm!!

Please bring back the original MangaStorm. I’ve been fighting with this app all day trying to figure out how to download manga into it. I searched online and didn’t find anything. I’m glad I didn’t delete the original on my older devices. All I want is for the Original MangaStorm app to be available for newer devices, or at least make this one easier to use. Easier to download manga.

Confusing App. I came from Manga Storm after it was deleted and it isn't that simple. In fact I don't even know how to bring mangas onto the app. I honestly don't want to use a pc to bring manga on to the app?

Ads interfere with reading. This looks like it could be a good app, but I really wouldn't know because I was forced to give up on it because the ad bar at the bottom of the screen is so invasive and distracting it makes the app a distracting chore to use. It's a shame, because the app looks good otherwise. But given I choose to read comics for the visual pleasure, the ad bar defeats the purpose. I'll be moving on something more considerate of the reader's needs.

Nearly the best. It’s quite good - does everything it should and my comic books work - I want them to add a store like how iBooks has.

Ad virus threat. So I had an ad pop up while I was reading from this app and it said I had 4 viruses blah blah blah... then when I closed the ad my phone started beeping for about 5 seconds!!!!!! Weird!

Easy to use but just as good as acrobat reader. Easy to use but it does nothing that Adobe Arcobat reader or Apple books cant.

Best. CBR file formats recognized and handled in the best possible manner.

Mangastorm classic was far superior. The previous version of this app was far better than this mockery of it.

Gets the job done. Fairly quick response when flipping through pages and it’s easy to add books. No real complaints.

Very happy with this app. I tried the free version after my previous go-to app somehow lost some of its capabilities. I don't collect comics, but use it for some other documents archived in cbz format. It integrates beautifully with Google Drive and is really easy to use. I bought the paid version and am very happy with it.

It’s good but.... It constantly loses my place in the comic I’m reading if I leave the app to do something else. Quite an annoyance.

Love the app but doesn’t organize chapters correctly.. The app works great, it’s fast and supports lots of formats. But on series with more than 9 chapters it starts to not organize them correctly. It lists more than 10 chapters like this: 1 10 11 12 13 Continue up to 18 19 2 20 21 etc. It’s very annoying please fix this minor issue and you have a perfect comic and manga reading app.

Ads with sound. Full page ads with timer countdown before you can dismiss them. That’s bad enough, but they also have sound! I’m not putting up with this. Uninstalling...

Not worth the time. This does not have the backup function of the old mangastorm app. I thought it was behind a new paywall, so I even paid for the pro version. Still nothing.

Good app. Does as advertised. However the UI needs a well deserved upgrade. Needs to be able to sync with iCloud drive as well.

Does what it should, could be better.. The order detection really sucks, had to use a mass file editor to remove characters for it to display chapters and pages in the right order. Other than that, does what I need it to do.

It works. Not the prettiest UI, but does the job.

A bit faster. It takes time to load even on my iPad 2 and is a bit slow when the comic is too heavy on size. Crashed once, but works when it does.

Not the most intuitive. Overall great app, but my one complaint is that it is a little difficult to figure out how to import comics. Once figured out though, the app very rarely crashes, nice clean interface, and easy to organize items. 4 1/2 out of 5.

Love it. Was super easy for me to figure out and use. Could do without the pop up ads, but I generally just turn off the wifi and/or data and that works just fine for me. ;)

Great Comic book Reader!. It's actually very easy to use, you can mark books you've read and ones you haven't, make favorites and it stars the one you are currently or were last reading. Scrolling is simple and the pages are always easy to read. My only issue would be there is no double page option for those pages that rollover onto the next as one big picture, but even then you can hold it and scroll in a certain way where that's a very minor issue.

Perfect for iPad!. This app does everything I need on my iPad with out a ton of extra crap in the way. Highly recommended!

Can’t add server.. Need a more elaborate video on how to add servers using the different method.

Great Price/ Performance. There is some UI weirdness but the app does everything I want it to. Which is nicely read comic book files on my iPad. I don't use it with a comic server. I use the foil grander from iTunes feature. So all my organizing is in the computer. By The Hoary Hosts Of Hoggoth I like this app.

It works!. Opens .cbr files on your mobile device with a nice interface. The free version has ads at the bottom of each page, so for that alone it's worth upgrading to the "pro" version - completely ad free. Looks particularly nice on an iPad.

Great Comic App. I have a ton of CBR/CBZ files. I use am able to connect to my OneDrive and pull down anything anywhere. No issues with file size so far. If they could add a skip to page feature/bookmark that would be helpful.

Not bad. Works a lot better once you purchase the app, now I can read all my comics. I just wish it was a little more user friendly, it's kind of hard to get the hang of. But overall it gets the job done.

Good app, missing a few features. Overall, good app that does what it's supposed to- let you put cbr files on your idevice manually and read them. Reading interface is quite nice, clear, not lacking. File support is great, about the only thing I wish was easier was a simpler organization- you can sort things, painfully strange and not intuitive, but after you sort it one way, I see no way to filter or rearrange them apart from the default (arranging by date, name, ascending, descending, size, or even manually ordering the comics would be nice). It took me a decent amount of effort to figure out how to properly put files on my device to read, and editing them in the app (for example if something is out of order, to rename it so it would show up in the proper order, without backing out and switching comics manually) is impossible - you have to delete the file, change the name on your computer and re-upload, re-sort. Apart from comic management and a lack of a "playlist" type feature, a very useful app, still deserving 4 stars.

Addiction. You know how some people are just crazy about their comics, well, I am one of them. On the internet, you will find many downloadable CBR file format comic books, I just download and now this understands them - really awesome.

Bad experience. I understand the need to make ads so intrusive they force people to give money to make them go away. But I couldn't even read a comic page with the ad cruft. Read from the cloud, means you can download the file to the app from the cloud.

Everything you need to read comics. Being able to directly import comics through iTunes or stream them through google drive is brilliant. Loved it so much that I bought the ad free version to give more room for the pages!

Please fix the audio issue. Good, solid app. I get the limited functions (only 1 associated gdrive at a time, etc) as this is a free app. But often I'll read while listening to music (w/ headphones) and if I use this app, it will either stop the music OR often, produce a loud screeching noise, almost like feedback.

Awesome. It works perfect ( minus some adds popping up)!! I love that all the comics can be saved to google drive and read anywhere!

Now read comics. With this, I can now read comic books in different formats easily. I like the intuitive interface.

Solid Comic and Manga Reader with a Few Quirks. It's nice to be able to separate comics (reading left to right) from manga (reading right to left) in each queue. It's also nice that the app allows Dropbox asset storage, as well as local storage. The only problems are that all that complexity comes at the cost of clarity. This is not the easiest of apps to learn, so I'm docking a star for ease of use.

Full of features. It's full of features that you would expect from any App of this category. To be able to handle books - large books and comics and different characters and to give the user the ability to do powerful things with it - this App knows it.

High class. It’s a great App that works as advertised. I really like having it in a folder with iBooks, PDF reader, Documents App and others.

Good but could be better.. Add smooth scrolling. I have to say that the app is actually very well done. Please never remove google drive support! Also, the product can always be better but that's for you guys to decide. A better menu system would be nice. Keep up the good work 👍🏽

Confusing. It didn't explain how to get manga and was incredibly confusing. If they had a decent tutorial then I would rate higher but even online I couldn't find any helpful advice on how to download comics. Overall it wasn't user friendly and I still couldn't figure out how to use it after an hour.

Good.. Solid app. Works as advertised. Haven't run into any weird bugs or anything. Thanks. Edit: to the reviewer who was concerned with double tap to zoom, the option is in settings.

Paid (Pro) Version. Recently purchased the pro version of this app to get rid of the ads and it's perfect for my 6+ I've already got 30+ titles and nearly 500 issues worth of content in the app and it never crashes or bugs out on me. Very useful and easy to use interface that allows you to create folders and sub folders for your files. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a reader app

Great App So Far. Been using this app for 2 weeks now and haven't had any issues yet. Works just like the way it says and I do find myself reading with ease.

Great for kids. Kids love reading comics, I have downloaded a ton from the internet and just use this and give it to them. They love reading.

Works great!. The app is easy to use and looks great. I have my comics on Google Drive and it's so convenient! Unfortunately, I'm only able to read CBR files--all CBZ files throw errors about not being able to extract the files. As it's not that hard to convert between the two file types (they're just RAR and ZIP with fancy names), it doesn't doom the app, but it's still annoying. EDIT: Need to correct my earlier review. Apparently somehow every single CBZ in my collection got corrupted--so it was my fault, not the app! Now that I have that sorted out, I can happily give it five stars.

A very good reader. It was a small learning curve, well worth buying the upgrade, and overall this is just a very good simple to use reader. I only wish my IPAD was bigger...

Sloppy UI, wouldn't suggest. The UI is extremely sloppy and looks like an iPhone 1 app. Once you actually get a comic book open it works and reads fine, which is why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. The problem I experienced was that it would not let me import comics from my google drive. It would let me read from my google drive but I would have to re download it every time and it wouldn't save my page. Everytime I went to the import section it only gave me the option for Dropbox. The app also gives an option to purchase the full version but doesn't explain how this will benefit the user. (At least within the app itself.)

Great for what it does. I use this app almost every day for an hour or so, the features really work and it is the best app to read comics on.

Nice app!. The app is pretty great although I find it annoying that I can't double tap to zoom in or out like in the other manga storm app and that when you are in zoom its a little difficult to go to the next page but other than that it's pretty great I can easily upload my comics to the app.

Fantastic way to read comic books. Comic books are usually available in the CBR format and this handles all of it so perfectly. Just for all my comic book collection, I use this.
