A BIG Fan of OnOff since 2016 but. I enjoy the phone version since the inception of OnOff. For the iPad version, it’s the same functionalities but the App should offer a landscape mode. It’s more natural on an iPad to use. Otherwise, it’s a 5 star app.

Caution for travelers. I utilized this service as a secondary line for U.S. business travel, but encountered issues when using it in Europe. The app prompted identity verification by calling my new European number, yet the provided onoff number was consistently reported as "unavailable." Despite reaching out to onoff and my provider, both attributed the problem to the other party, leaving me with a non-functional service. It appears to be a software design flaw rather than a network operator issue.

Cant validate. I wasn’t able to use this app i can’t validate the number...

LIKE IT. Good job onoff team, I espically like that I can turn off calls on my second number when I want free time

better trial please. I will give a good rating as the product works well but you really need to give users a fully functional trial instead of a teaser

App Requires Passport Number or ID Card. I was logged out of the app when I updated to iOS 15, and when I attempted to log back in, the app required my passport number or ID card. That seems very risky information to be required to provide I have never been asked to supply that information to any other second number app. I will be deleting immediately.

The best 2nd phone app. And I tried a lot

More a beta than a final application. A very good idea however there is still a lot of space for improvement. First of all there is not support behind the link related to it. Messages send since a month now and still now response. This not acceptable when you are paying for a monthly subscription. Also, the application is not integrated at all on iOS. - SOLVED with the latest release. Contacts must be added manually because there is no connector to your address book. Just unacceptable. - NOT TOTALLY SLOVED: the volume is stronger but you still can't use your personal ringtone. Also if your Bluetooth is connected to your phone, the ring will not work. It will be muted. The ring cannot be personalised. Not a big deal you could say, but the one integrated to the application is so low that you cannot hear it. Lower up the volume? Just impossible. - the notification on the iPhone is so fast that if you do not catch it it will disappear and you will not know that someone is trying to reach you. - last but not least, don't expect to use your Bluetooth headset because the application does not integrate this minimum requirement! If conclusion do not waste your time with this application until the minimum improvement has been made. Waste of time and money.

Scammers. If you want a 2nd reliable phone number don’t try this platform they’re scammers

I wish it possible i won’t even give your app any star.. I want my money back, you should please take your number back, because I don’t get people text, it just a big waste for me. This is a big mess, my text are delivering to my friend but I can’t get their text. That a big rubbish and wasting of money... anyone who is about to use this app, just don’t waste your money, if your friends don’t have the app, and text you from the app, no way they can get your messages unless they call you that all. For anyone who is in the United state and buying purchasing +1 number. I so hate why I just wasted money for 3 month. If possible please refund my money back, I don’t need your number anymore, as I can’t get people text only their call and my text is going through.

Text function not working properly. I get notification of text sent to me but I don’t see the contents when I open the app! To see them I need to re-install the app all the time. I can unblock number but next time I check they are still blocked again

cheaper than a second line. I wasn't sure at first as the trial is quite limited but I can recommend it and it works

Could be better. great for texting. However, you cannot accept video files over text. Also, the call display often doesn't work. I think that more fields for contacts would be nice i.e. email, address, note.

No MMS. Everything works quite well, some bugs sometimes, but acceptable. MMS not supported yet

Annoying. I need to contact customer care before my account can be validated,after validation they block my account

Not very secure. I don’t know why the cell phone prompts me to use either mobile call or Onoff when accessing my contacts list. I did not share my list with Onoff(they have respected that choice), but some how my cell still ask if I would like to use Onoff to call out from their end, and it will then, push the call through to the app.: this is not very secure because anyone using my phone can access the Onoff app using my contacts list by placing a call through the cell phone contact list. I can also leave my house from my back bathroom window: it works, but it is not practical. Nor is the advice you gave my regarding the issues at hand. Have a good day.

I don’t receive text messages - support won’t respond. I wish I could give this app 0 stars...I bought 2 numbers...text messaging doesn’t work fully. I can send text but can not receive text. I reached out to onoff through every channel possible and did not get a response. I was trying to give them time to fix the problem before I gave a bad review...but here I am. I will be getting my money back for sure. DON’T DOWNLOAD THIS APP!

Voip is needed. I like the app but there really needs to be a Voip option for making calls when I have wifi

Five stars!. Amazing app! From someone who travels a lot and has contacts from all over the world, it's really useful to be able to change numbers according to the country that I'm in/who I'm connecting with. Aesthetically it's very appealing and super easy to navigate. Highly recommend!

Syria. Good but sometimes stop giving free number

Great!!. I've had this app for a few months now. I've been able to make and receive calls using my UK phone number without issues. I'm just waiting for them to add more US numbers. Support have been great and responded quickly when I've emailed them. Great so far!!

Be careful! May assign numbers used for scams. I tried to use the number to register for online banking. The bank said that the number was still connected to an another person. Same result with other providers. I contacted the OnOff assistance less then 1 hour from the purchase open to keep paying for the service, just asking a new number. They replied to a different question. I asked again. This time they replied my question ... over 4 hours after the purchase. Just in time to make impossible for me to ask for a refund. According to OnOff customer service, I should have contacted all banks and providers proving that the number was now mine. Result: subscription deleted. They lost a customer who was considering to get also their business service for all my employees. Using an app with such customer care is simply too risky.

It doesn't work at all. This app swindles money, can't be used after purchase, and refuses to refund for any reason. Please don't use it

Not bad , can be better. I buy a number for a year , impossible to call . I can text and receive text back on this number but always have to call with my french number because the server don’t work .... Can someone fix it ?

Warning - No privacy. I am surprised this app doesn’t ask for your underwear size, it ask for all your private information including an ID, you can’t use the app without supplying all your personal info. I want my money back! You have been warned!

Scam!. Don’t suscribe if you plan to keep your number when you move away. The phone number to get the number ported out does not work, the email support is arrogant and stopped answering my email after the 3rd one Additionally prices tripled with no notice... Really bas

better than I expected. The trial number wasn't much use but after buying a US number I have made and recieved many calls

Before paying $5. Know that once you pay the money, in order to use the app you have to provide your address and photo of your ID. Until you do so you can not use the number. That is all.

ad's would be better. I don't like paying for apps and wish this was ad supported but it works well so I can't compalin

Doesn’t receive texts from Bank of America. I can’t judge the efficacy of the phone number but it doesn’t work for my purposes, which is to receive bank verification text messages.

Love the IPhone App… not the IPad. The IPad App should use a landscape mode. It’s more natural for the IPad, when using a keyboard.

Getting Better Every Day .... I have had my account almost one year now when they supported only 2 countries then..... my job has lots of travel and clients that want to only call a local number which saves me lots of money when I use onoff ......since my original sign up with onoff they have expanded greatly in the last year and services were good then, great now and getting better all the time i log in the service..... i tried about 5 other virtual phone companies and onoff had the best quality in my opinion... I live in Thailand and travel all over Asia and Europe.... this sounds like a AD but this is my honest review... maybe I will get a gift :) Bye for now

Message file attach. I really don’t know why attached files sent on message with this app don’t use to appear as photo but appear as link which made some of my friends to be scared of the file to avoid virus. Please you people should do something about it. Thanks

It’s working but other things missing.. I can send and receive text messages perfectly, but calls can be charged from my mean credit not from the app credit. for the media side, I can’t see any pictures that will be send to me, but people rather see pictures that I send them. Can I get any help for that. I can’t see pictures that will be send to me! But other can see the pictures I send that. I need help because I want to be on it.

Not happy at all. Keep getting charged for an app that is so useless and doesn’t work. Half the time the phone calls don’t connect properly and the other half the phone calls don’t come in all I get is a notification saying I missed a call and they left a voicemail, uh the phone didn’t even ring! Tried talking to someone for support tried all things they said and it’s still not working! 🤬🤬🤬

Application trop intrusive. Cette appli est tellement intrusive, ça en est ridicule. Elle demande que votre carte SIM communique avec eux afin qu’ils aient votre numéro de téléphones. Ils demandent votre adresse complète. Puis la cerise sur le gâteau… votre numéro de passeport! Arrivé à cette étape, j’ai tout abandonné. J’ai supprimé mon abonnement sans jamais avoir été en mesure de passer un seul coup de fil.

Service pas intelligent. J’ai perdu deux jours pour récupérer mon numéro de téléphone et ils n’ont jamais compris que c’était moi le propriétaire du numéro je n’ai pas pu retrouver ce numéro c’est rendu que j’envoie mon passeport et là c’est encore pas assez il me demande encore un selfie avec mon passeport et intérieurement le jour d’avant j’ai envoyer des copies de mes reçus ils ont bien vu qu’il y avait un erreur de frappe dans mon courriel de une lettre, mais l’intelligence c’est pas donné à tout le monde là c’est trop je vais me tourner vers quelqu’un d’autre

International. A l'heure où j'écris mon commentaire, l'apps ne dit nul part que l'ont ne peut pas envoyer de message texte international, on ne l'apprend qu'après avoir payé, lorsque j'essaye d'en envoyer un... Dommage je viens de jeter mon argent au poubelle!

Profite aux malfaiteurs. Je me suis faites arnaquer par une personne utilisant ce service et évidemment onoff ne peut rien pour moi. Fallait que je me fasse arnaquer par un de vos membres pour savoir que cet app existait et sur le coup ça ne me donne pas envie de l’essayer car juste écœuré.

Sms not supported in lots of countries.. It was very disappointing to learn that SMS was not supported in Mexico. It’s shameful that the developer doesn’t warn about it in the app description, not ONE word about it. Very dishonest. I wouldn’t buy it if I knew. Learnt it the hard way. Will never come back. Never.

2 an d’utilisation - feedback. J’ai utilisé cette cette app pendant 2 an principalement parce que j’utilise peu mon numéro de téléphone. Qualité : - on peut avoir un numéro de n’importe quel pays à moindre prix - on peut afficher un autre numéro que le sien (c’est aussi un défaut quelque part car beaucoup de numéro on/off sont tagés comme spam ou w.e) - on peut appeler et envoyer des sms Au final la promesse de l’app est remplie. Cependant plusieurs défauts : 1. ne permet pas d’appeler des numéros américains quand on est au Canada. Oui le Canada n’est pas en Amérique selon le support🤔(faut revoir les cours de géographie, Amérique du nord, Amérique du Sud toussa toussa non?) 2. Depuis quelques jours leur réseau bug est on ne peut simplement plus appeler (il faut spam le bouton appeler) 3. Sur certains numéros je reçois les sms en plusieurs parties et pas dans le bon ordre (un plaisir de s’essayer de comprendre le sms) 4. On ne reçoit pas les sms style double authentication envoyé automatiquement par les serveurs. Ex : si on se connecte à un site canadien (style ARC) on nous envoi un code de vérification. Par sms il n’arrive jamais. 5. Quand on est au Canada avec un abonnement canadien, il faut toujours faire le +1 (bon ok c’est mineur ça mais quand ça met numéro US alors que le numéro est canadien c’est vraiment relou) En bref ca dépanne mais parter du principe que cette app n’égalera jamais les services téléphonie d’origine. Même pour le peu que j’utilise mon téléphone cette app n’en vaut plus le coup et je pense me prendre un forfait locale hors de prix.

Scam - do not use!!!. I purchased this app to get a French phone number while travelling in France. It says “unlimited calling to and from french numbers including cell phones”. One month later, I received a $400 bill for “international calling” and it turns out I was being charged by my regular carrier every time I was placing AND receiving calls! Even though I was using wifi to call, it still got traced back to my cell and charged as voice calls! I was fooled by a message displaying every time I made a call “we just need to call a technical number to place your call. No charge will apply”... Well turns out these technical calls were in fact long distance!

Pas très utile au Québec. Attention, cette application fonctionne bien mais contient plusieurs des bugs. Je vous suggère fortement de ne pas utiliser cette application pour des fonctions professionnelles, car vous pourriez manquer des appels important. Un exemple, on/off considère que Drummondville et Victoriaville ne sont pas situés dans la même région. Ce qui veut dire que pour passer un appel ou en recevoir un entre ces deux villes situé a moins de 100 km entre eux et soit dit en passant en centre de la province (donc même pas proche d’une autre province ou pays ) sont facturés en appel international. Donc vous devez vous munir de crédit on/off... À éviter à moi que ce soit personnel !!!

Don't be fooled, so bad. Ya it was good in the beginning. So I bought UNLIMITED MESSAGEING AND CALLING. But it's not unlimited. U only get 1000 texts and that's nothing lol. What a waste of 12$. Says unlimited but aint even unlimted

J’ai payer un numéro depuis déjà 1 semaine et j’ai recharger du Crédit mais depuis ils me demande de Valider mon identité afin d’activer le numéro mais quand j’envoi ma carte d’identité 🪪 ils ne me donne aucune suite il me demande de patienter et quand je patiente et après quelques heure j’ouvre l’application on me demande encore de Valider mon identité. J’ai déjà fais sa plus de 10 fois mais ils ne valide pas pourtant j’ai payer. Et j’ai écrit au support mais aucune réponse jusqu’ici .. C’EST UNE ARNAQUE 😡😡😡 REMBOURSÉ MOI
