My Favorite Fitness App. I have quite a few fitness apps that I use and I can say I enjoy fitness. When I signed up for this I thought it would mimic the health app for the Apple Watch. In some ways (color scheme) it did. Little did I know, however, the functionality would be far greater than what I would expect. I can sync FITIV to multiple fitness apps (pretty much a given). I can also create, modify, and edit exercises before, during and after an activity. I love the collective data information given about your exercise (target HR, usage %, Total vs Active calories burned, duration, gps and non-god distance, pacing, etc etc etc). This is the only app I use for my fitness activities now. It did not take me long at all to purchase the app after starting the trial. It was well worth it and I would gladly do it again!

Love this app. This app made me realize I wasn’t working out to my fullest potential. There were times I honestly felt like I would die but my watch would be like - “nah girllll - youre just being lazy” so I knew I could push harder. Sometimes the opposite. I was going too hard and burning too long anaerobically and that’s bad for weight loss. After two weeks on this app I was down six pounds! I haven’t seen the scale move in YEARSSSS!!! This is awesome!!! I brag about this app in my private womens group on fb. It’s awesome!!! Just wish it had more “categories” of workouts to puck from. Like for ex) if I’m lifting weights AND doing breakouts of cardio - what type of workout should I select? So I use “CrossFit” Cause it’s not just weight lifting. Furthermore it’s not just cardio. It’s def not HIIT. So I never know what to choose. Wish they had one that was “mix” or “resistance training” for my band days. Regardless- it’s a great app!!!

Love the FITIV app. I regularly do aerobics and weight training. While I do use the ifit apps on my nordictrack equipment, I still appreciate the FITIV app as I can track my training no matter what activity or equipment I happen to be using. I also enjoy the goal- oriented aspect of the FITIV app. I use a polar chest strap to track my heart rate, and the FITIV app pairs well with that device. I also do some road biking during the warmer months. FITIV takes advantage of my iPhone GPS capabilities to track my entire ride, and of course I save those workouts along with all my other training. Bottom line: FITIV is the one consistent app that tracks all the metrics I need in a consistent manner, no matter what equipment or type of training I am doing.

Love it BUT!!!. I absolutely love this app, BUT I have a request and one relatively minor issue… I set my phone up on my treadmill so I can monitor my heart rate with your app. Aiming for the tiny music controls is a real pain. It would be the perfect app if I didn’t have to fumble around with this feature to skip songs. I realize this may seem a bit picky, but it really screws with my hard earned rhythm when I have to steady my hand to hit those tiny, moving controls. Also, not sure if this is an app issue or an iphone/watch issue, but sometimes the app refuses to view the watch stats, and I have to keep resetting everything, until it eventually works. I have all the latest, updated gear and software.

One glitchy feature keeps this from 5 stars. This application is great, barring one feature - a major one, in my case - that puts this at 2 stars instead of 5. I worked with Support on this problem and at this point it’s a known, unresolved/unresolvable issue, not a config problem or user error. If the following feature is unimportant to you then definitely give this app a go! The “bad” feature: - Streaming workouts to your phone: This is the promoted feature that made me choose this app. The watch-to-phone connection is lost very often, causing the phone to display an error and not show the live data. Sometimes the connection is restored quickly, sometimes not for 5+ minutes The good/great working features: - Voice notifications: Great - you can choose which stats to be notified of & when you’re notified. Huge list of selectable stats - Live graphs are great - Tons of config options to customize your watch, individual workouts, HR zones etc.

Great app!. Update: After the app not working for a bit, I left the review, did a workout, and it magically started working. Kinda like a car not having problems as soon as you leave it with the mechanic 😜. I stand by this being an awesome app! I used the app for the first time on a treadmill run. I loved being able to have my heart rate and zones displayed live in front of me, and love how it integrates with the watch to log the workout. However, on a subsequent workout it didn’t log anything and now when I open the app it just shuts down right away. Hopefully it’s just a bug that will be fixed so I can continue using it!

Love it. I am really good at learning things that are naturally passions for me but fitness is not one of the things that comes easily to me, so I always struggled with getting a workout routine started because there’s so much to learn and I’m just not as naturally inquisitive about this as I am with other things. The Fitbiod app changed all that because it plans out the workouts for me and rotates through the muscle groups. This has allowed me to casually look things up as I choose to learn them (or not) without needing to obsess about all of those details upfront. This has changed everything about what is possible for me in terms of successful fitness, by making it possible at all. It feels like a miracle! What was always impossible before. I am so happy! Thank you for this app.

Almost perfect. Love the focus on heart rate. This is a great workout/running app. I’ve waited for a little over a month to review to get a good feel for the app. I love the user interface and plenty of customizable options within the app. There are also plenty types of workouts to choose from. If you can’t find the workout you’re looking for, you’re able to create one. The graphics are great and easy to read while on the move. I also love that the graphics are heart rate centric with other pertinent info around it. The only drawback is I would love if they included a heart rate zone based training program— with LIVE heart rate based coaching. I had the adidas MiCoach system before and loved the way they integrated live coaching based on your heart rate zone. Each day was different, easy days...tough red zone days. The intervals kept it interesting and made me a better runner, while also helped with bursts of speed and becoming more athletic. I sent feedback to the team but unfortunately did not get a response. Ultimately, I signed up for their premium subscription and hope to see that feature added in the future.

Great when Training, Lacking when Recovering. Overall the data lead approach is great. The customization aspects are what sets this app apart from the rest. Creating your own workouts allows users to partition unique descriptions to heart rate measurements which gives them context. My only grip is this app only tracks “training seasons”. I would love if the app also allowed for BLE heart rate devices to be used to track resting and recovery activities. A more passive mode of measure for when I don’t have a specific training selected. The data from which could be used to calculate resting heart rate and sleep quality. And importantly provide a reference number to the heart rate values witnessed in trading seasons.

This app is a MUST try!!!!!. I have been using this app since it initially started and throughout the years they update features and it gets better and better. I’ve never even considered trying other apps because I love this one so much. This community is like a family and I’m giving my honest review about that so if I stopped using it I would be leaving my FITIV family. Your never alone on your fitness journey because everyone is so supportive and the app also supports you with features like awards for achieving your fitness goals and you can also post your workouts and achievements to interact with everyone. I recommend it to anyone who asks me what app they should use!!

My go-to fitness app. I’ve been a subscriber for several years because I absolutely love this app. A few years ago, it stopped working. It started crashing on a regular basis, and then, after about four months, it started working. After Apple updated their software, it would crash. But not any more! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE FITIV. I love that I can name my workouts, and also choose the workout that matches the one on the Apple list, and I get to track what workout I've specifically done. This is the only app that I have consistently used for several years. I highly recommend it!

Almost Great. Love the app! Great customization—can rename workouts, adjust heart rate zones and create tags for your workouts. One HUGE problem with the tags though is there isn’t a way to edit them so if you misspell one you can’t correct it or remove tags you no longer use. I contacted support about this issue because I wasn’t sure if I was just overlooking the edit option, but they wrote me back and said there was no option to edit the tags but to stay tuned for updates. That was at least a year ago but still no luck. That simple fix would make the app so much more enjoyable because my list of tags is cluttered with things I no longer need or accidentally misspelled...and you can’t even scroll all the way to the bottom of your list so I have to hit the plus sign and add from memory because I can’t see them to tap on. Please fix 😩

Totally love this app! (Before). Update: Still my daily tracking app but as other reviewers have noted, some issues have crept in. My number one complaint is that for at least the past year, the cycling summary is incorrect. If I look at my cycling mileage for the week, instead of seeing 70 miles it reports .7 I have written support several times with no meaningful answer. Two years ago the stats function was ****awesome****. Very easy to navigate and customize. Why I loved this app. Then it was “improved” and not nearly as easy. I like to look at weekly, monthly and year to date versus previous time periods. I can still get there sort of. I have stats in the widget (very helpful and meaningful) but I used to be able to have the same stats when I opened the app on the front page and do some quick comparisons. Without an accurate cycle mileage it is all a moot point and useless. Very disappointing. Stop with the new functionality and fix what is broken please. ******************** I have the subscription and love this app. I use it daily on my Apple Watch and iPhone. Mount my phone on the bike with FITIV and I track my ride all the way thru, track my workout, everything. Gives me great info to track my progress with every workout, across many different types. Highly recommend the subscription! Many ways to track - daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. No other app I have found offers this depth of info, extremely helpful for me.

Great for Zone workout, using a polar strap and phone. Doing Zone 2 workouts. Wanted an accurate HR monitor, which meant a chest strap. Didn’t want to add a watch, but also wanted verbal cues when HR changed. Tried several different apps and this one was the winner. The verbal cues are a little delayed, which would be my improvement to the app. However, it’s very easy to watch my HR on app while working out. That was an unexpected bonus. Can also adjust your zones, so thats a nice feature also. Finishing a workout sometimes means sliding the end button twice. A few times, the app didn’t open the first time. Overall though, the app is solid on its options, the display options, and the way it works.

Like this app for pairing with Apple Watch. Similar to Garmin. I missed my Garmin app but when I upgraded to Apple Watch 3 I needed a better interface for activities that also work well with importing info from MyFitness Pal and other apps. Like the format but have a bit of trouble getting steps info even though I authorize for it to talk to other healthy apps for steps. Don’t know why. Hmmm... Other wise, I like the app. I just have to check other app for accurate steps info until I can figure out why it is not showing the steps. Really like the feature of calories eaten and calories burned and calories deficit. This is very important to me.

Easy to operate... This app is pretty user friendly since I love tracking my workouts. I typically would’ve given 5 stars because it does what I need it to do for the most part but as of the last few months the app seems to not consistently track. I’ve used my Apple Watch to start and stop workouts for at least the last 4-5 years when FITIV was previously Motiv but literally the last 2-3 months it seems incompatible with my Apple Watch. Now I use the built in Apple fitness app to track my workouts and FITIV later seems to drop the graph and details once I’m done. Maybe that’s an update or the new thing, but I appreciated using the actual FITIV app to track and monitor my workouts. Tee 😊

With series 4 watch this almost replaces Garmin. I love this program and the new Apple watches and I really want to leave my Garmin and iPhone at home. This app now has the gps accuracy to match all my know routes to within the same approximate standard deviation as my Garmin did. The only thing that still forces me to bring the Garmin is lack of a watch display field choice for split pace. Any serious runner trying to control pace needs this. Instant pace is too under damped and average to overdamped and targeting a certain pace for a given mile / split can’t be done without knowing what the current average value has been up to the current point in the mile. I am a member of 3 running clubs and this is the most common metric all the runners I know use, I’m shocked it’s missing (Strava app does have it but lacks a lot of other things). This has to be so trivial to add ... please consider it. Update: Very responsive developer ... changed rating to 5 stars do to visible progress

WAS the Best workout tracker. I do NOT like the new interface changes. I can no longer shorten a workout (when I forget to end it) or calculate my heart-rate recovery because (A) Time information no longer appears when you move the vertical bar to show heartrate changes; (B) Editing the time to shorten does not change the graph; and (C) You can no longer pinch the graph to zoom in. …unless I’m missing something. Below is my original five star review. I’ve been using FIT IV for several yrs to track various kinds of workouts, mainly advanced pickleball. I especially love the way it tells you how many minutes were spent in each heart-rate zone, has great settings & editing features, automatically calculates avg & max heart-rate, etc., and integrates with Apple Watch. Love it! Well worth the pro price.

I love this app!. I've used this app for three years and I love how it works with my heart rate strap and programmed zones from my metabolic assessment at Life Time. I wish I could input calories per zone but the edit feature for adding workouts and the tracking features are all great. I've used the Polar app and a few others and none come close to this. Easy to read while working out, easy to add specific workouts, organized. It's my fav. Two things to note is it can be sensitive and close the workout before you're actually done. Or if you take your monitor off without finishing the workout you lose your data. I'd love if those things could be addressed.

Good and bad. I like it because it allows me to stream my Apple Watch metrics to my phone in real time, and can also set up intervals while monitoring heart rate zones. However, I’m having a lot of trouble with this app pausing workouts while I’m still doing them. This is mostly when I use my watch and the watch locks for some reason, not the fault of this app. That being said, I just finished a workout set up through the phone app with a chest strap and was using the native timer app in the phone for a few rounds just to find out the app paused my workout randomly in the last round while in the background. If I didn’t experience all of these pauses I would use this app for nearly everything. If I can’t get around it I’ll look elsewhere.

Kind of junk. This app has a lot of potential and I’ll use it a couple more times to give it a chance. I stream from the Apple Watch to the phone. It took numerous attempts to get it working. It would just stay in the blue zone no matter how fast I ran. After about 15 min of messing about on the treadmill, I finally got it working (which was an extremely annoying way to start any long distance run). Then after accruing 308 points, I stopped and saved the run, only for it not to be saved in the log…. It saved all the useless 1 min test runs when it wasn’t working btw (even though I selected discard on those runs). Needless to say, it’s pretty much useless if that’s what it does. If it can improve and work as advertised, I’d give it 5 stars. I had 5G connection while running as well.

Updated: I just love it. Update: Monica got back to me right away and all I needed to do was click “restore purchases” a few times to trigger communication with the App Store. BOOM! I’m now a Pro Member like Im supposed to be. Easy peasy. So that said and done if they decide to add nutrition logging to the app, which I hope they eventually do, I’ll change this to a five star rating. The app is great. I love it. It has almost all the features I need and want and some I didn’t even know I wanted. It sucked me in with the free trial and I was instantly hooked. Everything was simple to understand. The layout is fresh, easy to maneuver and, my favorite part, editable. So there’s nothing that I see that I don’t want to and there’s nothing that I can’t see that I do want to. However, one day I woke up and my free trail was over. Boom! I was a free member and none of those amazing features were usable. So I gladly paid for the yearly membership. Who wouldn’t? The app is incredible! Well, take my word for it and be cautious. Pay for a month first and see if it works because it didn’t for me. The only feature it gave me was nutrition. Everything else is saying I need to upgrade. So I basically just paid ten dollars for what I already have to input into a free app anyway. Smh. I’m disappointed to say the least and hope that my ticket gets responded to promptly because I don’t like paying full price for a fraction of a product.

A great app that’s going to get even better. This is my favorite app on the Apple Watch. It’s great for fitness training on the bike and with its features, customizable display of real-time stats, and multiplicity of workout types, it definitely has the potential to become a top-end performance tool. For serious road or mountain bike training, it’s only limitations include a lack of cadence read outs, stats for power and stats for sensor-based speed. Yet as I’ve watched this little app’s features evolve dramatically over the last year or so I have no doubt these bike essentials will be eventually added. Fantastic app at a bargain price. Download it, and subscribe!

Needs iWatch workout app to function accurately.. I love that I can use this app to visualize my heart rate percentages. But a flaw I have found is that the heart rate monitoring is MUCH more accurate when you begin a workout in the native iWatch workout app as well as a workout in the MotiFIT app. For some reason when I reach approximately 85% of my max HR, the app will read my heart as 1/2 of what it really is. For example when my heart rate is 160. The app will read 80 unless I have both workouts running. It's almost as if the motifit app doesn't continuously check heart rate as well as the native iWatch workouts app. I have noticed though that when ending both workouts, only the motifit workout is added to my iOS Health app since that is the workout that I had open and monitored while working out. As a side note I have been tracking heart rates during my Spin class for 50-60 minutes. Battery loss on iPhone and iWatch are both minimal.

What a great fitness app. The best fitness app I own. So many options for customization, a fantastic and easy dashboard, and it’s a complication. Links to the health app and burn app as well to keep track of progress. The only criticism I have is not being able to see the distance travelled on my Apple Watch during my runs. Unless I missed where I can do that. Otherwise, awesome!! I recommend it for sure. This is 100% a true review from me. Just a dude that took a chance on an app and it worked out. Keep grinding everyone **Update**. Thank you for the heads up response. I got it now. There you go, app is perfect. Awesome customer service!!!

Best app for running and cycling. I’ve tried just about every major running and cycling app out there and I must say that this is the best hands down. The main reason is the fantastic Apple Watch integration. The Apple Watch shows 6 metrics at once! I choose to show HR, HR Zone, Duration, Calories, Split Pace and Total Pace but you can customize the display and choose any 6 metrics that you want to see. Most other apps will only show 3-4 metrics at most on your watch. You can even have some of these metrics voiced every so often you don’t even have to look at your watch. The heart rate analysis you get is also top notch and I believe the best one currently on the market. After your workout you will see a map of your course, which will show what parts your HR was the highest and where you were the fastest. Like I said, it’s the best workout app out there and I’ve tried just about all of them.

Problems Solved. (July 20,2022) Over four years and still my go-to fitness app. It’s great. Update three (March 1, 2019): still my daily go-to fitness app but some performance issues have slowly crept back in. They are annoying but I'm leaving my rating at five stars for now because it's still a great app. Updated again (Sep 22, 2018 - after v5.0 release): the inaccuracies and performance problems have been resolved. This is now my go-to app for fitness. Updated review (Jul 12, 2018, after two years of use): it's getting better. There is still a major issue with duplicates but accuracy has improved. Increased one star. I've been using the paid version for a couple months now and there are some major issues. I've been using a very accurate heart rate monitor with it. One issue is that the calorie count is grossly inaccurate. A 45 minute high-intensity workout with average heart rate at 150 is usually accurately measured as 800 calories whereas a 22 minute walk with heart rate in the warm-up zone the entire time chalks up over 2000 calories! It also frequently doesn't sync with Apple Health. I feel like I wasted $10.

Great tracker, but missing features. I have been using this for a couple of weeks now and I love all of the info and tracking information it gives, but there are some features I wish would be included in future updates. There is no lap button feature. Sometimes running it is nice to know time splits at different distances and a lap feature would take care of this. There is also no function to track distances in your work and rest intervals. It is just a continuous distance. For example, an 8:00 run with a 4:00 rest/recovery. It would be nice to know the distances for each piece. Lastly, it would be nice to have multiple work and rest times in a single workout. As is, you can only set a single work period and rest period that can be repeated. You can’t create varied work or rest intervals. As of now you have to run a separate timer along with FITIV. It should be built into the app. Great app and despite some shortcomings it is still my activity tracker of choice.

My one and only fitness tracker. FITIV is the only fitness tracker I use. I love all of the features it provides (e.g. “live streaming” of my HR from my Apple Watch). There is an extensive list of workouts available to choose from or you can create your own. Should there be an issue, their IT department is on top of it, Monica provides prompt responses and exhausts every solution possible to get you back to your workout! There is so much in this app, get in there and play with it!! I do not know how it works with devices other than an Apple Watch, but I am sure they make sure it is just as flawless as the Apple Watch. Because the developers and IT are dedicated to this appams make it so amazing , it is very easy for me to be dedicated to this app. 💪🏼❤️

Best total work out app for Apple Watch. I do HIT work outs (high intensity training) and wear a polar H7 heart rate monitor. I lift weights and ride spin bike along with skipping rope. You can pick weight lifting and most cardio exercises (but none for skipping rope.) This app is brilliant. I use my iPhone to track my work out and Apple Watch, both using this app. My only complaint is app won't stay on glance. The clock screen of watch is always present you have to manually go into apps screen and open motifit each time you want to check your watch for workout data. I have no idea why? I keep my phone within 5-10 feet of me so I can easily see my data on phone screen. Best Apple Watch work out app I have found. For a work out timer stop watch check out repetitiveT

Maps (GPS) doesn’t work.. I’ve tried every which way to get the GPS to work and create a route on a map and it simply doesn’t work on my Apple ecosystem. I can do it with other running apps (no problems) but this app really gives me issues with this particular area. Reaching out to customer support gets you a formatted response to “Please restart your device(s) including the iPhone and Apple Watch as a first troubleshooting step. Reinstalling the app from the App Store can also solve a variety of install issues including lagging, crashings, or missing data.” I don’t want to restart my watch and iPhone and reinstall the app every timed my before a simple workout. That takes too much time and NEVER have to do this with other running apps to get a map of my outdoor workout. Until they resolve this issue, they only get 3 stars from me. Follow up: This is a terrible app developer. I joined their FB groups and was kicked off of two of them due to me making negative comments about how bad this app is and confirming with other people about their own problems with the FITIV app, especially in the running exercise space. If you’re using it for running, there are so many better options. You can still use FITIV as secondary app (for the pretty graph)but I would not rely in it as a primary app for data.

Awesome App. I love the app, downloaded a couple years ago when I was just starting at the gym, I was in a spinning class and was worried about my heart racing too fast... (I know), I had not exercise for about 20 years and thought I can have a heart attack, this app gave me confidence to try harder every time since you can monitor your workout at all times and gives you the feeling of being in control, at least for my worries. In addition, the workout history is great, being able to look back at your performance helps you see the improvement over time, it’s awesome!

The best . No question about it. But last update screwed you out of every option. So o had the custom options and then updated and lost it all. No mention of that in the update notes so if you want to spend 60 a year for ever feel free. If I’m going to pony up I’m going to get an iwatch 8 and problems solved. Save your self the cash on the endless payments and get a watch instead. All the functions you want out of this app are included. I was looking for an app that would work with my chest strap heart rate monitor. Most apps are geared toward use with a watch, which I find are less accurate and waaaaaaay overpriced. This app not only lets you track workout metrics, has great user interface but of key importance to me, Allows you to customize your own heart rate zones. No more generic trash that most apps provide. I use a polar h10 and guess what? In order for you to have that feature you need to buy one of their expensive watches. Useless for me. Between my phone and the chest strap heart rate monitor I can key in on my zones and make sure I’m doing what I’ve intended to do whether that’s zone 2 or 4-5. Absolutely great. Tracks calories create custom workouts etc. a must have if you use a chest strap heart rate monitor. 10 stars if it were possible

Fine app, but not really worth premium. Decent fitness app. Tracks workouts without crashing. I like the zone display as well, but beyond that it doesn’t really add anything special to justify paying for it (I did use premium for a year or two). It also loads really slowly on an Apple Watch 2, and can a long time to find gps. The slow loading is why I finally just decided to stop using this app and just use the native apple workout app till I find another fitness app that’s worth the hassle. Lastly, while it works fine if your using either the watch app alone when I’m running, if I’m biking and can therefore have my phone with me, it has issues when trying to use the watch and phone app at the same time, especially if you switch out of the phone app even just for a couple of seconds.

Excellent App & Motivator. FITIV is a great update to the MotiFIT app with a greatly improved look and feel along with IOS 11 integration. Improves my workouts and has numerous capabilities beyond the default Apple apps. I am an avid fitness addict and take 5 or 6 cycling classes per week. I use MotoFit with my Apple Watch and the combo has replaced my Polar Heart rate monitor. Easily seeing where you are in your zones during your workout motivates me & pushes me to work harder more than seeing the results afterwards with the Polar. I have had issues, this is not perfect yet, but the developer is quite responsive to queries. Highly recommended. An update - I've found that just relying on the Apple Watch for heart rate adds a few inaccurate spikes to each workout, skewing results. I've since bought a Polar H7 Bluetooth strap and paired it with my Apple watch. Motofit is now much more accurate. I also love the new feature where my watch vibrates on zone transitions. Great job! Another update - this app keeps on getting better and better, now with many more customizations. And developer is very responsive to issues and suggestions. Deserves 6 stars.

Love the app, hate the bugs. I really like everything about this app but whenever they do an update there a bugs and the app crashes and/or doesn’t properly record workouts. Each time, I have had to contact customer service, which is just a bit of a pain. I wish they would send an email to users or something any time there is an update with instructions for how to fix the bugs. Or, you know, figure out the bugs before rolling out the update. Overall I think the interface and the only thing I have never been able to successfully input is a manual log of a swim, which is recorded in miles and does not show up on the dashboard.

Best in my opinion!. I have used all sorts of fitness apps. All the map my fitness apps (run, ride, etc), wahoo, UA record, Apple watch, polar, runkeeper, etc. This has been the best of all of them. I do a variety of work out types from lifting, hitt, biking, running, etc. This app covers all of them well. I like the integration with Apple's health as I use the apple ecosystem of devices. The best feature I enjoy is running the app off my apple watch. I linked my polar HR strap to the watch and run all workouts through the watch. It's accurate and informative. No need to take my phone or keep it nearby. It updates as soon I bring the watch and phone together.

Over 2 years and still love it...ideal for Apple Watch. I have been using FITIV for over 2 years and it is perfect for my goals. Pick my workout, track workout zones, calories, etc. control my music and keep moving. Totally worth the paid version. For the bad...sometimes it doesn’t sync right but I can easily fix it by having it reinstall on my watch. It sometimes takes a day or two to add new workouts to my watch. Most annoying, however, is the community/leaderboard is inaccurate and shows other users with crazy inflated results. That feature is not really important but it is annoying. But overall it has been a big improvement over apples built-in fitness app.

Glitchy. This app has a lot of potential, but I guess it’s like the others, that will get downloaded and then deleted. It is glitchy and annoying. It’s not showing the actual route I ran just a dot at my location with a long line extending through another continent! The distance on my watch at the end of the workout was less than what the app showed. In fact, for one workout I have had three different distances shown…one distance was on my watch when I stopped my workout, one is from the app when I was just finished and yet a different distance showed up later! Three different distances for one workout! Aesthetically pleasing as this app is, it just doesn’t hold its own.

It's ok. I got this and purchased the lifetime to see my HR metrics during and after a workout. I use it with my MioLink at OTF and with a personal trainer. I'm guessing that since I disable the HR sensor on the watch and use the Mio my Apple Watch battery doesn't die as fast. The metrics compare to the OTF screen but the color zones do not - something I wish this app would change. Both OTF - MioLink Beat and Polar use a at rest zone of grey/light blue (warm up- zone 1), and there isn't a yellow... (I wish the zone colors were standardized.) at least the screen says what one I'm in... I'm using it on an original Apple Watch with Watch OS3 if that matters to you, & I have the small one. Update- app keeps closing mid workout and when I try to resume it, it doesn't restart or save

Great well rounded app. I began using FITIV looking for an alternative to Strava which I have used for years. Strava was great for cycling, not so good for running especially when using iWatch or Garmin watch. Frustrated I set out to find something better, something that could track not only running and cycling but CrossFit and HIIT/Tabata workouts. Boom 💥! Hooked. The app works splendid tracking nearly any exercise I do on my iWatch. I love the fact is gives me the ability to choose the calorie calculation method and allows me to make adjustments downward (as we all know that running for 40 minutes when you are fit does NOT burn 700+ calories😂). The maps generated by the GPS are awesome, the pace generator along with the voice feedback on pace distance etc even from the watch is top notch. The calorie burn once honed in is nearly spot on which I have not found on ANY other app and I have tried them all. The developers continue to make improvements based on the feedback which is far better than some of the apps I have tried. The closed group on Facebook is a lovely touch as well. Getting ideas, sharing ideas and cheering each other along. Magic again. Very happy with this app. Enough now that I enter the 2018 year saying goodbye to Strava. Hello FITIV

Buggy. The app has been great until just recently. I utilize my Apple Watch to start tracking runs. Later when I open the app to look at stats, I find that the app is still timing the run/workout that ended hours prior... definite fix needs to be made. Update: the app continues to get worse... thinking of canceling my subscription. The GPS is horribly inaccurate causing the app to randomly track obscure zig zags in my route when running, tracking the starting point anywhere from 200ft-1/4mi away with a sprint at my actual starting point, and recording my end 200ft-1/4mi away. I’ve done hard restarts on my phone and watch, reset my compass/GPS... nothing solves the problem. Major updates needed for this app to be worth paying for. Update: why does this app keep booting me out and telling me to upgrade to a paid membership?! Get you stuff together FITIV!

I love this app!. I am a OC and dragon boat paddler and this app has been incredible! First of all most apps don’t even have a paddler option for workouts- mostly running and indoor machines. 1. The graphics and layout are fun and easy to read. Which is nice when you are trying to gather data on your workouts. I hate an ugly app. 2. Easily links to my heart monitor, whether it’s my Apple Watch or the strap. 3. The voice option is perfect when I’m out on the water ... I link to my headphones to my phone and during training, the app will tell me my heart rate, calories burned, distance, etc. which is valuable when you have to know what your body is doing and how to push it or ease up. 4. Completely worth the money. This app has dramatically helped my training and I tell everyone about it.

Works good. I was looking for an app that would work for my Apple Watch. This one seems to measure my heart rate fine. I like the fact that when I raised my wrist it shows my heart rate. I use a the Wahoo Heart monitor to help with that. The only issue that I'm having is that the calorie total I'm burning during a workout is incorrect. It indicates that I'm burning an average of 5 calories per minute. I know that's incorrect because all my other friends (that are my age) that workout with me burn an average of 7-8 cal per min. I believe it's an Apple Watch issue as when I just use other apps using just the iPhone the calories are more accurate. Hopefully an update will correct this. Otherwise this is a nice app.

Workout Smarter Not Harder. This app is indispensable; I use it every time I workout. I used to huff and puff for an hour on the elliptical. When I started using IFitiv, I found I could burn the same number of calories by walking on the treadmill, and I kept my heart rate in the endurance zone. Previously I would always go for “hardcore” and even get into red zone. After every workout I felt terrible and exercising made me feel worse not better. I don’t exercise as hard now but I burn the same number of calories by working out longer. I don’t dread exercise anymore and it actually gives me more energy not less. Data helps!

Great for custom workouts and sports. I was trying to find an app that lets me input a custom title for a workout AND sync with Apple health and fitness. I train jiu jitsu and other apps don’t have a martial arts / wrestling option at all (I’m looking at you polar) or they do but you can’t rename it. With fitiv you can add custom workouts, meaning I can select jiu jitsu and have it push over to Apple after my workout with that title. It also works great with several different monitors I’ve tried thus far. I wish there was a lifetime pass you could buy to just purchase it once and he done, but the annual/monthly options aren’t too expensive.

Cannot use since upgrade to version 6. I used to love this app. But i cannot get it to work ever since the upgrade to version 6 The problem is that the app does not remember that I have already granted access to my Apple Health Data. Each time that I launch the app (on my phone ir on my watch), I am prompted to grant read-write access to Apple Health dats for “Steps”, “height” and “Resting Energy”. The app never remembers these settings and I am prompted over and over again to reenter the (multiple times every time when I launch and try to use the app). I always instal the latest updates, and have also deleted the app (both on my phone and watch), rebooted the phone and watch, and reinstalled. But the problem persists. As a result, I really cannot monitor progress record workouts with this app any more, despite the nice “bells and whistles” of the latest update.

Mostly good. I use this app a lot and most of the time it’s decent but occasionally it does get hung up when I’m in the middle of an exercise. I’ve also noticed that I can’t use this app in conjunction with another fitness app to maintain tracking stability. If I’m using the Nike run app, for example, I can’t also use this app to see what my heart rate and other indicators and metrics are. I almost always get an error message that ends up closing this app down. And there have also been a number of times when using this app, that it seems to restart in the middle of me doing an exercise. It’s not always clear whether it was tracking the entire exercise session or if it actually restarted the entire session. It’s frustrating to have to stop the exercising in the middle of the workout to determine whether or not this app is working properly. I would prefer an app that consistently worked properly that didn’t end up interrupting my exercise events.

Swiss Army knife of activity tracking. I started using it today and subscribed once I saw how details and complete this app is. Owning an Apple Watch I find this app great for step counting and so many other features it has, seems to be the Swiss Army knife of activity tracking (seems even more useful if a user owns iPhone + watch) so I just subscribed for a year and I’ll update the review in few weeks. |—————| Suggestions: 1-The one thing I already noticed it lacks is a widget (hopefully it would be customizable) for the iPhone. It has so many options and such a large amount of data it tracks and displays that frankly I still have to get the hang of it. 2-The colors used within the app are similar of the native watchOS activity tracking app but I would actually rather if they used the very same colors of the native app 3-Just like in suggestion #2 is like the icons of the workouts to be more similar to the ones of the native activity app from watchOS / iOS All in all this is an impressive app. Keep up the good work devs.

Want to like it but cycle miles aren’t showing. I love the interface, the customizations , the watch display, etc. But the one item I want to see on the dashboard is cycling miles! It’s available in the list but when added, refuses to show any data though! When I look at individual workouts, the data is in the app. Mileage is accurate in the workout view. It’s also the same for cycling pace. Switch to dashboard and its blank - just placeholder dashes. I would like to be able to view cycling data in the dashboard view as the dashboard is extremely useful. All the heart rate and heart range data is absolutely gorgeous. So there’s so much to love here, except for the fact that my most desired metrics refused to display in the main view I hope to see. I contacted the developer 3 days ago. I received an email saying that they have a ticket on the item but have had no reply since then. I have reinstalled with no fix. Again, let me say if it would display the specific data I wanted, I would rate this as the absolute best app for cycling I’ve ever used. It beats Strava hands down in my opinion.

Generally good App. Valuable to track key workout data and easy to use

Love the upgrade. Previous version was the best HR app I had tried. The latest is off the chart! So happy to see the live trend chart added. Did suggest previously. Thank you

No good for Apple Watch 3. I’ve recently gone back to using an iPhone as I wasn’t happy with the Samsung phones or watches. I can’t afford a new Apple Watch so have been using my old 3 watch. However the app doesn’t work with it and even with the support team trying to help, it won’t show or record heart rate, which is what it’s meant to do. So, until the team sorts it or I can afford to buy a new watch, FitIV is not an option for me. Disappointing, but that’s life. Sincerely hope the team can fix it, though.

It’s awesome you can edit the workout title now. Without having to pay for it

Fantastic App. Really enjoying the FITIV app. I got my Apple Watch a couple months ago and as a fitness instructor rely on my calorie burn. This app does it all for a very affordable yearly subscription. Thank you

Love this app.. Streaming a live workout from an Apple Watch is the best. Love being able to push right to the limit and staying on track.

Love it!. This app allows me to clearly see my heart rate during my workouts and also accurately tracks my workouts and runs. I also love that it gives me updates throughout my run

New changes terrible. I have always loved this app and used it to record several things to help with my health journey with my Natropath. However recent change to the app do not have the graphs etc I have always used so I have lost the graphs and can longer use the app for what I want. Thinking of unsubscribing & deleting.

Great app. Does what it says in the tin. Great app, unobtrusive but the data it provides is awesome…really helps me hit my fitness goals

Really like it. The app works well for me the only thing I did not figure out is how to back up data and currently it does not sync with the Health APP on the iPhone if I use external HRM

The best. Love this app. Integrates with my fitness pal and is an awesome Apple Watch app. Perfect for tracking all the different types of exercise I do. Whether it is in a gym on a stationary bike or out running with gps. Perfect

Absolutely love this app. Great app, love the heart rate streaming from Apple Watch to my iPhone. Beautiful design and very functional. The only issue I have is that it is quite buggy at the moment (version 6.0). Freezes when I import rides, quite lags badly when viewing imported rides, and doesn’t switch profiles properly (height and weight does not change with profile change).

Awesome app but .... Hi developers. Love the concept of the app. In general it’s awesome. My biggest gripe is that it randomly disconnects from my heart rate monitor and loses the info of the work out. I don’t know if these two things are directly related but you would think that if it is recording it saves the information. Even if I check the app after ten minutes of it being down it would be good to have saved the work out. Then I can simply restart and go on. But currently I’m losing half or the whole workout and I don’t want to be constantly checking if it’s working or not. Can you help?

Nice clear infographics. Easy to use and read with clear infographics. Would give the app 5 stars if you were able to see in real-time the exercise range you are in while walking/running/cycling to get the most out of my exercise.

Everything you need for Apple Watch fitness. Works with my Polar H 10 heart rate monitor and does every think I need plus This app syncs up very well with the Apple health app

Great app. Has bugs needed to be fixed but otherwise, overall, a great app

Upgrade. One of the few apps I have upgraded and is working like I want it to👍👍

Great App. Worth the money for premium in comparison to other apps out there. Great integration only a little problem with the streaming to iPhone sync in that I see 2 entries for data when I use both iPhone and watch but maybe just timing - keep up the great work.

FITIV FITNESS. Excellent app. Provides me with great motivation during my workout Encourages me to challenge myself to do better every day xdhoyngd

Family registrations are messy through iPhone. Great app but messy registration process. Initially I started off with an individual rego. Then my wife also started using the app so I registered a family license. After changing to a multiple user family license it now shows activation only after next year when my individual license expires. So currently my wife only has access to the app and not I. Will lodge another support email. Hopefully I’ll get a response this time.

First time I’ve ever rated an app.. This is a superbly designed and, so far, works flawlessly. Perhaps in the future you could build in HRV measurements and HR recovery metrics??

Ben Heald. Love this App, I feel it’s the most accurate of all other fitness apps I’ve tried in capturing my exercise data! Also it pulls all the data from my other health apps into this app, perfect 👌😊

Awesome auto activity and Strava upload. I wrote the below... and gave 5 stars now I realise that the app is glitchy... it fails to start activities and stops during start ups saying that you can resume but it never allows you to. Old version “It always annoyed me that Apple activity wouldn’t talk to Strava... now FITIV talks to both so I use fitiv for all my activity and let it do all the syncing! Well worth the annual price!”

Great app. Love the voice options. Great easy to use app. Love the fact it gives voice prompts on my stats so I can keep my exercise consistent without having to check devices. Worth the fee. Use it every time! Would be nice to control music from I watch app tho.

Live Apple Watch Data on my phone. This is what I wanted. My watch data streaming on my phone while I work out at home. I don’t want to look at my watch. I want the data in front of me just like it is at the gym when I connect my watch to the equipment. Works exactly as advertised. That’s all I use if for. Worth every cent.

Reliable app with great functionality. I’ve been using this app for a few years now and it’s been great to track a variety of workouts, from cycling, walking, weight training and boxing. It works well with my Apple Watch and also with a Polar HRM. It plays nicely with other apps and I love the analysis and graphics.

A useful tool. This app provides lots of interesting data and charts. It would be useful to have one or more screen/pages that can be customised to construct a table format, or even better, being able to get that data exported in a file that can be read in a spreadsheet. For example Date, duration, min, max, average heart rate, distance and other parameters measured or calculated in the app.

Buggy. 1. Apple Watch often crashes when I start the workout. 2. GPS sometimes takes minutes before my Start button is green. 3. Cannot use app on my iPad as Restore Purchase never works. Not sure if I’ll renew my subscription, too many issues for my liking.

FITIV Pulse - the best!!. Love this app. Works beautifully with Apple Watch as heart rate monitor. I moved to it as my in ride app and upload data to STRAVA later. Much better visual feedback for me on iPhone while I ride. Can even have different data in phone vs watch. Incredibly easy to customize.

Great so far. Just been using the app for a week now but really enjoying the extra functions for the Apple Watch over the regular Workout functions there. Great for checking I’m keeping my heart rate in the right zone for each training at just a quick glance at my wrist. And the heart rate graph at the end of a workout is great for analysing afterwards.

Incredible!. It’s incredible that this level of reporting is available at this price point for me! Can’t live without it. Fantastic software.

get MyZone gym workouts into Strava. Will sync workouts across from MyZone to Strava, but seems to pull a lower HR from your Apple watch. So I end up recording a workout directly on my watch to get accurate HR from the MyZone heart rate strap.

Terrific app. Have been using for several years now. It’s a terrific app. Room for improvement would be making it easier/simpler to create custom workouts with simple features like a 15 sec countdown at the start.

What happened?. Love the app but for some reason since the change over it counting burned calories incorrectly. 60 minutes of HIIT and it tells me I’ve burnt 14 calories?? Please fix this.

App keeps crashing after update. Great app, but keeps crashing since latest update. I need help please

Motivation in my pocket. Ive recently come back to FITIV after a long break from the fitness world, after using apple fitness for some time I decided to try FITIV again and now I haven’t looked back. 10/10 fitness app. The heart rate live monitor is perfect for HIIT cardio mornings.

App is good but all stop the spam. App is good but please provide an option to turn off all the banner pop ups for the teams and suggested workouts and other things I’m not interested in.

Good but freezes a lot at the moment. I’ve had this app for a few years now but in the last couple of months, when I’ve gone to use it, it freezes when I select a workout half the times. Since I use this to play sport, if it’s not working by the time the game starts then I can’t use it for that workout. If this was fixed it would be a 5/5.

AQ. Reliable and accurate heart rate monitoring app that syncs to my watch every time and never lets me down … love it!!!

Excellent app for tracking workouts. FITIV Pulse has proven indispensable for my fitness training with the Apple Watch. The interface is very informative and all of the most relevant data (heart rate , gps track in map and profile, splits) are very accessible.

Best app for HR training. Easily the best app for using HR monitor or apple watch. Lots of detail but not to much. It has really helped my training.

Workout recording is great. I like the app, especially the workout component. I would like it easier to see when you log changes in your weight a graph or such to go back and easily see when those changes were.

Everything I wanted. I wanted an app where I could track my heart rate zone while running, this is it.

Intuitive and streams Apple Watch. Only app I’ve found that streams Apple Watch data to your iPhone screen so you don’t have to keep lifting your wrist during a cardio session. It’s very intuitive to use and keeps good data metrics

Comprehensive. All the information that I want to keep track of is all included in this one app. Doesn’t annoy for input just does its job behind the scene.

Disappointing. I had a paid subscription, without issues, for years, up until recently. I started to get some odd workout readings (eg 24 hour walks) registering in Fitbit. These appear to have originated in FITV and were being synced everywhere else. As a part of troubleshooting I sought assistance from Fitbit, who suggested it was a third party app causing the odd results. I disconnected any third party apps to see what might be the culprit. Connecting FITV back, I got the odd results again. I reached out to FITV tech support, who first ignored my emails but after sending screenshots of the odd results, responded by saying it was a Fitbit issue, not their problem. Disappointing and lacklustre response to say the least. Especially as this is the only query I’ve ever submitted but received no actual support. I’ve now gone elsewhere

Love it. I love the simplicity of this app for tracking my workouts. The heart rate tracker is very useful in breaking down my HR zones (I use Apple Watch). Breaking each workout into Fitiv points so I can always compare how hard I worked in regards to different types of workouts, is also very helpful in making sure I maintain and increase my activity levels.

Great app. Great app but have now problems with the apple watch starting or switching off since last update of the watch. Please fix. Otherwise it is worth five stars

Didn’t sync properly. I liked the concept of the app and that other fitness apps synced with it HOWEVER, I wasn’t able to start any workouts with the app on my phone at all without a sensor. I had attached my Apple Watch and did all troubleshooting but it wouldn’t use that as my sensor. Had no problem starting a workout from my Apple Watch but if I created my own workout on my phone, it wouldn’t sync to my watch so I could start it. Tried deleting/redownloading/signing out/in/unpair/pair everything I could think of but nothing had it all working together. I’m not going to pay for an app that doesn’t do what it says it can which is disappointing as I really like the concept. If it worked, I would have stuck with it.

Fantastic. Best fitness app I’ve seen & used. Please Keep up good work & look forward to any updates to make it better. However it would be good if you could do an exercise which allows you to run/walk, given the fact of arthritis in knees but other that that, fantastic app

Great!. Excellent application!

Very customizable. This is best for people who are detail oriented, I use this app to set my exercise program, down to 30 seconds with over 60 steps in one session and over 1.5 hours long. very useful

Awesome. A great way to track my workouts, and it helps the Apple Watch to be more accurate when recording them as well.

Just started. Not so adaptable and it’s complicated

Love FITIV. Though I connect it to other apps, this is wjlhat I use as a base and love it. It’s easy and has all of the info I need.

Love it. Love it Makes my Apple Watch a more complete fitness device

Excellent Heart Monitor. As a senior with two heart problems, I have very happy with the FITIV Pulse. It does an excellent job of tracking my heart rate so I know exactly when and if I am “overdoing it”.

Love this app. Great all-in-one.

No Tech Support - zero response. Been using app for years. Won’t sync with Apple Watch so last two months of stats lost. No response to any attempts to get support from IT. Finding new app which mean years of my data are lost. I need to invest in an app that fixes issues not just creat app get members than ride off the incline or whatever other issues are happening at a management level. Bad company.

Love it but.... I wish I could swipe through workouts as they appear on the home page so that I can see my heart rate charts one after the other.

Super. J'adore

Très bonne application. Manque quelques petite chose comme le niveaux de stresse et le temps de récupération mais dans l’ensemble c’est bien comme app

Useful tool for my fitness journey! Nice to have a large display on my iPhone Pro Max. I’ve been using this app for over a year and still enjoy it. It’s been an excellent way to track my Exercises and the calories I burn throughout the day.

Amazing app. It’s got everything, easy to use and the best one I’ve found so far.

Love it. Love this app

Great app!. Only wish there was a timer in the app, perfect otherwise for my simple needs :)

Great app. So easy to use, all in all a great app.

Haptic feedback option available again. Working properly now and option to turn off haptic feedback is back after latest apple watch update.

Great potential, edge case bugs keeping me from making a daily driver. So in general, I think there are a lot of things in this app you won’t find as well executed elsewhere: nice widgets, colourful graphing of HR zones, lots of customization in different types of workout tracking, voice feedback, ability to use external HR monitor… all things I wanted. I have a Garmin, and the Garmin Connect app is certainly feature rich, but usability suffers, and it is lacking so in a lot of the above areas (especially with regards to training outside of running). I was in the market for a good all in one training app and I was pretty quick to subscribe to FITIV when I saw what it offered — and for a time it was an app I used daily. Unfortunately — there are bugs with the app which just make it impossible for me to recommend. Workouts get dropped when tracking my HR in the background (when I use other apps). My HR data from workouts sometimes syncs from Apple Health, sometime it doesn’t. I have submitted support tickets, I have a vested interest (given my paid subscription) in seeing them work it out — and if it worked dependably I would easily give it 5 stars. But for anyone who takes their training seriously, you know how frustrating it is to struggle with tech when you just want to train… so I’ve given up on this app for the time being, and am trying to make the best of the Garmin with it’s drawbacks for its stability consistency in tracking.

Great App for Fitness Tracking. I’ve been using the app for a couple of weeks now and I love it. The UI is very clean and intuitive. It definitely enhances the experience of tracking health metrics compared to the stock Apple fitness and health apps. I also really like the ‘Community’ section, it’s fun to scroll through and see what other FITIV users are up to. I haven’t done a deep dive on the full functionality of the app yet, but it works great on my iPhone and watch so far. 👍

Best app to track my workout performance. Love that I can customize my workouts and metrics.

Great app!. Great product! I use it every day to track my workouts! Integrates flawlessly with apple watch!

Good app!. It allows me to track my weekly workouts.

Great product. Love the fact that you can monitor heart rate zones

Terrible support. App is fine except for constantly prompting to allow more health privileges. Sent multiple messages to the developer with no response. Garbage support. Look into better options.

L’application parfaite pour le sport.. Très bonne application pour le sport simple et facile à utiliser.

Fitipulse. Very easy to use for all activities. Like the tracking system, week, months, etc

Better now. ... works and doesn’t crash as often.

Buggy after recent Apple Watch OS updates. Usually great for workout tracking, but as of late, the app freezes 4/5 times when trying to save a workout. It just keeps spinning and requires a force quit. Super annoying.

👍. I love it, tracks everything I eat and do, so the results are easier to achieve because you know whether you can achieve a weight loss at the end of the week

This app is awesome. The stock exercice app is a shame compared to this one.

Love the app. Even though I use plenty of activity platform tracker I just cannot get rid of fitiv pulse app. I love the diagram I get after each seance love the heart rate tracker with the zone in color! Definitely worth the annual price

Avis sur Fitiv. Très bien !

Really Good. Visually, the user interface looks well done and navigating has gotten better with time. I would appreciate the ability to edit activity duration post workout incase you forgot to turn it off and have the app re-calculate the calorie count accordingly. Would be nice if we could input more metrics into the cycling exercise like wattage. An indicator showing when it’s connected/not connected to an external heart-rate monitor (chest strap). Pretty good app overall... I really do like it. Works well with my Apple Watch.

Great app I have been using it for several years now.. Works well with Apple Watch. They are constantly trying to improve the app and I am satisfied customer.

Awesome app!. Great tool for tracking levels of exertion during training,,,

Very happy. Does everything I could wish for, great for spinning

Best fitness app ever!!. Very complete and provides very accurate info

Not great. Too many bugs for something you have to pay for.

Great. Fantastic app! Try it! :)

Does all it needs to. Good information and data that helps you to improve your fitness and health.

Not bad. Not bad

Best workout app. This is more than an app it’s a community ❤️🏋️‍♀️💪

Latest version is great. Simple interface for my Apple Watch. Easy to read and use

Great app!. Tracks really well and offers a variety of standard workouts as well as the option of creating your own custom workout activity.

This is the One!. Hands down the best app for utilize your Apple Watch heart rate sensor! Real time heart rate data form your Apple Watch to your phone. Just awesome if you at gym and need continuous heart rate reading one display. Hey developer, fix the report area so we can effectively post bugs and ideas, we can make the app even better. Good job and keep your work!

Newbie. I am very new with using both my new IPhone 6 and you FITIV app. I review my exercise on both and so far am finding FITIV to be easier to find the information I seek. It has more information on a single screen and graphic are better making it easier to navigate. I’m sure I still have much to learn and will enjoy the process. Frank Fletcher

Unreliable right now. The motifit app was incredible and I bought the pro, but since the update I have not been able to use it without it crashing. I spent half a workout trying to get it working to no avail. Not a fan of all the new stuff so far- preferred the minimalist look and wish I could hide or turn some of this stuff off. It's frankly giving me anxiety to see so many stats. Original 5 star review: This app has been a tremendous game changer in my health journey. I cannot imagine working out without it now. I love the visuals, I love hearing my time, heart rate, calories burned, etc. through my earbuds as I'm working out. I love the ease of exporting the data. I have such a better understanding of my workouts now and can better push myself to reach my goals. Thank you! Money well spent.

Love it!. I have been using this app with my Polar chest strap HR monitor for several years and just love it. I am part of the testing program so can truthfully say that the company is constantly working on improvements. It is compatible with Apple products and, to some degree, Fitbit. I usually use it for indoor exercise videos but have been impressed by the features that use navigation outdoors. Truthfully, I am addicted to this app and just don’t feel right exercising without it. I highly recommend it without reservations.

THE BEST. Absolutely, Hands Down, the best workout app out there! I e been using it for a good long while now and was in the Beta Testing group as well. The maker of this app seriously cares about us and about this app being the best it can possibly be for us! I wish I could give it a billion stars, that’s how much I love it! I use it for my walks, my weightlifting workouts, my Cardio to Yoga workouts (its half and half in one workout) and in my Yoga workouts. It’s just awesome how much info you get about each workout you do. Love it!!!

Great app!. Been using this app for 5 years now with my Polar 7 and now my polar 10. There were some bugs/glitches that have been worked out and I really have enjoyed using this, as it allows me to quantify my training. Depending on the goal of training I know how much longer I need to go before hitting a caloric goal, or if I am zone training and need to keep my HR within a specific zone. Highly recommened. I am just dude, by the way, so my recommendation might not mean much, but its here nonetheless. The only negative is if I am in another app or filming it disconnects.

Love the app - would love a watch update. There is really not much I could ask more from a fitness app. This one provides all I was looking for - on the phone. On the watch, I would ask for one little add-on: love how the watch app allows for additional features like controlling your music without leaving the app. If possible, please add a timer here (like the timer app) that allows for timing individual workouts w/o the need to leave the app (e.g. a minute battle rope or a minute break between sets). Thank you. That would make it absolutely perfect also on the watch.

Great exercise app. The FITIV app works extremely well with my Apple Watch. I love their convertible point system. It’s based on the amount of energy you expend. It lets me compare walking, cycling, running, strength training and elliptical. I can see my heart rate, speed, calories expended, time, distance and lots of other metrics for each workout. It keeps track of my workouts. I can see my total time and points by the week or month. It’s very motivating. It even estimates my VO2 max!

Easy to use. Does what it says.. I purchased this app for my Apple Watch when I joined Orange Theory. I was hoping I’d save from buying their heart monitor. (I still ended up buying it). It’s usually right in line with their heart rates and when that equipment doesn’t work right, I’m always happy I have this as a trusty back up so I know I’m getting credit for the workout. It gives you a much more comprehensive look at your health than the Workout app the watch comes with. I probably don’t use this app to its full potential.

Okay but missing some basic usability. I’ve had this app for years because it’s the only app I know of that lets you time intervals based on your heart rate. It’s still not that great for that though. For one, the only audio feedback on the app is voice. If you want to rely on audio to tell you when an interval starts it’s just a voice that says time for whatever seconds. A dinging sound would be better. The customizability is lacking too still. If you want to group custom work rest intervals every work or rest shows up as an “interval” on this display, so somehow my 20 round workout shows up as 61 intervals. Just seem like a waste to put so much effort into a full featured app for it to seem only half-finished still.

Heart rate display not showing accurate heart rate data. So I have been using the FITIV Apk for about a year. Like how it keep track of workout stats, however heart rate display during workout can show in accurate data. I have been sending the issue to FITIV support and get the normal answer of delete and reload Apk, restart watch and IPhone which I have done. Unfortunately it didn’t fix the problem. Now Apple support told me to use the workout Apk on Iwatch. When I use the workout Apk on Iwatch data displays correctly. Thus I think someone or something is causing this inaccurate data to be displayed.

Everything was great until the last update. I loved this app - paying for the pro-Version to get all the benefits. It was great for my Bluetooth heartrate monitor and I could stream my workout from my phone onto my watch. Fantastic. I could see everything with one glance on the watch. Then the new updates came and it just stopped streaming from phone to watch. It does fine the other way around but that is not compatible with my Bluetooth hr monitor. So now I’m stuck looking at my phone every time I want feedback. I have reached out to customer service about this and did not get a response. So here we are - seriously considering finding another app.

Fikes159. I began using this app when it first came out. At the time, I just wanted the info from my Apple Watch to go somewhere besides the Apple app. It did what I wanted it to do and that was fine. As time went on and the app updated, this turned into a great app. It syncs with most HRM’s, it combined the bike ride app into this and created a super app. I can send my results to Apple health, My Fitness Pal and Strava and many others. The dashboard is fantastic and the new community page is great also. This is your 1 stop app for anything relating to exercise!

My favorite workout app of all time. The Heart Rate + Zone presentation is the best I’ve seen, and the HR overlay on your GPS tracks running & cycling is the sweetest feature in the app. The ticker and zone presentation makes you want to hit your zones sooner and stay in them longer, and as a result I feel like my workouts get about 10% more in just because I’m using this app and I want to maximize the time in my zones. It automatically makes you want to push yourself just a little bit harder.

Great app. ... just what I was looking for, still using for several years now. Tracking your heart rate during the workout is excellent. You can also make custom workout titles and edit the name later. I also like the feature for adding your personal notes for each workout. You can also add a workout afterwards, since your heart rate data is imported. Sylvio had been very attentive to making continuous improvements.

Pretty good. Keeps track of your stats and all that. I use it for the heart rate monitoring , it’s really healthy for you if you can get your heart rate around 70-85% for around 10 minutes every day. You can choose the type of workout you’re doing, it shows you where you went via GPS if it’s something outside. They used to have an outstanding outlay that showed several circles around eachother which was very helpful but they’ve removed it and I have no idea why. Sent them a message asking how to get it and I was sent one of those stupid help index links by an auto reply, not a good way to build brand loyalty.

Exactly what I’m looking for. Training to get back on the fire truck. App flawlessly syncs with Apple Watch, can go off the Watch sensor or chest strap. Can create customized workout modes. Fields for both displays (IOS/Watch) customizable. Perfect for on the fly monitoring with interval training; color coded for what zone I’m in. After the workout, there’s a color coded graph that can be checked out after the workout. That also has average/max HR, average zone time, METS, etc. Only thing missing is VO2max and recovery info; fantastic app otherwise. Must have for anyone serious about their training/workouts.

Great app with great customer service. I’ve been using FITIV for the past 4-5 years. It’s easy to use as a stand alone workout app with a chest heart rate monitor. Records GPS tracks as you run, hike or ski. It also works well to record workouts on Apple Watch, and it syncs with Training Peaks. No hiccups during all those years until recently when it stopped stopped syncing with Training Peaks. A few emails to customer service and great communication back, and the issue was fixed. It’s a great app that is worth paying for.

Excellent. A rare app worth keeping.. Like many people, I’ll download an app if it looks good and then just use it a couple times before letting it sit idle on my phone for months until I remember to delete it. I’ve had this app and the subscription for at least three years. Well worth keeping. Provides accurate data that has really helped with my fitness. Highly recommend. Works well with my Apple Watch too.

Please fix. Love this app and it’s one of the best out there. Has a great community, beautiful interface and seems to be updated frequently. I’d like to add some fixes that are constantly bugging me. Please add a feature where you can pause or resume a workout. Sometimes I accidentally close out the app or my HR monitor stops and it seems to completely end my workout and I have to begin a new one. Today my Bluetooth got turned off on and it deleted my workout completely. Also whenever I do running workout and I go back to look at the results, it slows my whole glitches the app. It’ll close out or completely freeze.

Great workout and competition app. I really like this app. It does a great job tracking my workouts and also links with my heart rate monitor and Apple Watch with no issues. I also love the Fitiv points which pushes you for that extra effort in competition. Finally, I had a small issue with some of my feet of points not tracking. I contacted their support team and the issue was quickly resolved. Great customer service. Highly recommend this app.

5 stars when it works. But stops reporting mid run sometimessometime. I got this to make sure I am not exceeding the heart rate zone I want- I liked the ability to jog without the phone- just watch and headset and still get voice feedback on heart rate and speed When it works it’s great ! But sometimes the heart rate just stops reporting- telling me I am at 120 for 15 straight minutes when I know the up hill made me exceed 150 I left a message w the log. Got a generic mail and was left cold I do like the design and function so keeping it at 3 stars in hope they fix it so I can go back to 5 stars

Solid 4 almost 5. I’ve been using this app for 2-3 weeks now. Love: Streamlined my strength training so that I can focus on my workout and less on “what comes next”. Tracks my HR and gives audio updates throughout my workout. Audio directions. Can use/operate iTunes Through the app. I can plug in my own workouts and don’t have to use theirs. It can track other metrics: weight, waistline, etc. Reasons keeping it from being a 5 - would like to copy and paste entire interval sets, rather than copying them individually - buttons to go forward and backward in a interval are so tiny it’s hard to touch them mid workout with ease. - some of the graphs in the insights tab could use better descriptors so I understood better what I’m looking at. - would like to change some imperial measurements to metric (i prefer to cm to in) in terms of measuring waistline.

Like FITIV PLUS. I’m 84 and I like the connection between FITIV PLUSE and APPLE WATCH. I can walk using the watch’s activity program and it records on FP WALKING program and interacts with the watch’s health program. I’ve recently had a heart problem and now have a pacemaker so I can’t wear a chest heart monitor. The FPapp picks up the heart rate from the watch and I can see my heart rate on a real time basis and modify my workouts as I feel necessary. I can track my rehab process with all the information available from the FP as it records in the watch health program.

Love this app!. I am so impressed with ALL this app does! It connects with other apps to be a sleep tracker, a food tracker, a weight tracker, AND is a stand alone workout tracker. It’s the best workout app I have ever used and I have used them all! It’s totally worth the initial payment and it gives you so much insight during your day! It shows the heart rate zones during and after your workout (I am an avid crossfitter and love analyzing my workouts after they are completed)...you just have to be connected to an HR monitor such as your Apple Watch! Best app on the market!!!

My mainstay for HR and fitness tracking. FITIV (and its previous incarnation MotiFIT) has been instrumental in helping me track heart rate during exercise, track fitness over day/week/month/year and keeping me motivated due to clear feedback during workouts and awesome stats showing my progress. I use the app on my iPhone 6s+ with a Polar H7 chest strap, and sometimes use the Apple Watch (original) as standalone. Either way, the app is well integrated with Apple Health and Apple Activity, trouble-free and intuitive. I tried other apps, but they didn’t measure up for me. I am thrilled with FITIV!

Great features. I love being notified when my heart rate zone changes while I exercise and this app is the one I found that can do that (I got the subscription, which has been worth it). It can also be hacked to have notification when your heart rate goes above a certain number you set, regardless of if you are active or still (though it would be nice if I didn’t have to tell it I’m working out for that feature to work.) The apple high heart rate notification only alerts you if you are sedentary and your heart rate increases.

Robust but buggy. So many features and data points. I love the versatility and the ability to create your own workouts. I’m always finding more and more data that I didn’t know the app could track. My only frustration has been bugginess, specifically between the phone app and watch. I’ll be halfway through a run when I realize it’s not tracking distance. I also do a lot of HR based interval work and I find I have to check my watch to get the HR to update accurately which can be really obnoxious when I’m pushing for certain metrics.

Improvement. One of the things I liked before when It was Mosfit when they showed all 3 graphs on one page. Heart rate, speed and elevation. I also liked along time ago “ jawbone up 4” before they went out of business I really liked the trends they have for the steps. Other than that I tried other apps before and you guys do have a nice graft for heart rate. Thank you. If you approve and having all three graphs on my page they’ll be great. Thanks.

I’ve been using for years, still my choice. I have many years of history using this app and I’ve probably tried most of the others. It has ongoing issues but is still my choice. For one thing you can easily adapt it for any activity, GPS or not. It’s user friendly, has a pleasant layout and is solid. If they would just fix a few things like the tags and elevation gain, and the voice can be wacky I would be tossing them 5 stars, because it’s close now. Just fix the long term issues please.

Streams hr to iPhone live working. Did seem to lose connection during the work out for 5 to 10 seconds but sync back up with the live streaming. This is the first app I ran into that has live streaming heart rate to iPhone from Apple Watch. I just subscribed after confirming it works. Subscription is two bucks a month or 10 bucks a year. I believe the price is fair I guess but apples workout app should have this natively out of the box for streaming the heart rate live onto the iPhones screen. It's the only reason I subscribed to this app.

Used to be great, now forces a dog in that’s broken. Been using this app for 1/2 a year. It’s been pretty good, I’ve primarily used it for cycling workouts because I can track the workout with my watch and see the details on my handlebar mounted phone. But yesterday’s update is requiring me to now make an account to use the app. Their support website shows a SKIP button on the sign up screen of the app, but they hide it on the real app. That’s a real scummy move devs... Luckily Apple has forced devs to offer signing in with Apple so I don’t have to use a social network or give the devs my email address. But if you choose that option the app will throw an error and not let you in. Guess I’m going to be canceling my subscription.

Love this app... This is probably my first and only review, particularly on a fitness app. I bought this app about five years ago and when I started taking working out seriously as I was getting closer to 40. As a data scientist i needed something to get insights about my workouts instead just data and information. I regularly use this app to find insights on what worked, when I felt great, and what combinations of workouts were sustainable and effective. This is a great app and I highly recommend it.

Great app for cardio zone tracking. I was looking for an app to give me graphs of my heart rate zones. FITIV goes above and beyond. This app is great for heart rate zones and every 5 minutes during my workouts, calls out my heart rate, calories burned, and the heart rate zone I am currently in. The community side of the app is its real strength. The community is filled with people who are encouraging and warm and loves whatever kind of workout you post! I am totally hooked. If you have any technical issues, the FITIV staff is responsive and timely. They are constantly coming out with new improvements and often ask for feedback. Thank you FITIV staff!!

I recommend it all the time. This is probably one of the most advance and working apps in the App Store. I’ve you stick with the iPhone or the I watch and I will tell you that the heart rate monitor is pretty accurate. I have also used it with heart rate headset that I have in in all reality I enjoy using any of them to track my heart rate while working out. As a mountain biker I have not taken it out yet to use it with GPS but I don’t doubt he’s going to do a great job. I would definitely recommend it and I half to all my friends.

Wonderful exercise App. This app helps me keep my heart rate where I want it to be to maximize calorie burn and endurance training . The timer is great for my 30 minutes of HIT followed by 30 minutes of stationary bike. The FITIV points medals are an added enticement to work out just a few minutes longer or one extra day that month. I’ve been using this since it’s year of inception, and it has become an integral part of my personal health improvement program. IT’S GREAT!

I want to love this app, but its unreliable. The features are amazing and the iPhone app works well. I love the customization capability. Unfortunately the Apple Watch app continues to hang up. Just last night while in a workout, the HR froze and the GPS stopped tracking. I eventually switched to another app (which worked fine). But who wants to do this, it messed up my workout. The “today” screen never updates, it gets stuck in a continual “updating” status. I don’t even bother clicking on the HR, because that screen also never updates. If they can make the watch app more reliable, this would be an easy 5 star rating. It has huge potential.

No contact info - no way to fix problem. Something is wrong with your app. I was logged out of my account and app doesn’t recognize my paid subscription. I emailed you about 20 days ago and no one has replied yet. Today the contact info disappeared from app and website, and there is no way to reach you. Can anyone help me? I used your app for years and never experienced any type of problems until now. There is also a weird pop up “challenges” that freezes my screen and doesn’t allow me to close the pop up I have to close the app and open again.

Love, love, LOVE this app!. Everything about this app is fabulous! It’s detailed if you want or simplified if you like that better. It tells me all workout related stuff in a clear, easy to understand format so I’m not spending a lot of time looking for stats or other info pertinent to my workout. Widgets are awesome and tailored for at a glance metrics without muddling up your screen. Haven’t had any issue with performance or battery drain like some other apps - it’s pretty light, but feature rich. Highly recommend for pro athletes and hobbyists alike.

Best Workout App. I have downloaded and deleted countless apps to help track workouts, provide stats, etc. I have been using this one for almost a year and it is BY FAR the best workout app I have found. I love the heart rate tracking, which really helps me stay in my correct zones. The stats are great too - daily, weekly, monthly stats - it is all easily available!! This app is so much better than the Apple Fitness App. Download this app & upgrade for all the features - you won’t regret it!!!

Everything I need. I loved the Fitbit and Fitbit app but wanted Apple Pay on my watch. So I switched to the Apple Watch. Great watch, bad Activity app. After months of searching, I found FITIV and it’s perfect. It solved all my problems - tracks all the measures I want and clearly displays trends and progress. You can even filter and compare workouts by type. Suggestion: on the trend charts, it would be helpful to have values along the axis to see quickly what your range is.

Good customer service. When I originally downloaded 4.0.0 I was having problems with the app turning off and not recording the workout as soon as the voice feedback came on. It also crashed when I tried to switch between apps to change music. I send the debug report and they got back to me within a few minutes sending me the link to use the beta of 4.0.1. Much improved. It seems to be working great now. If you are having problems, send the debug report. The next update should be a big improvement.

Cardiovascular Tracking Made Easy!. Convenient and Comprehensive! To me this is a complete app for tracking your cardiovascular training. It provides you with all the information you need in an simple display, it will give you audio feedback on changes in heart rate zones, it will give you the option to automatically record your session for you if you have an apple watch even if you forgot to start it yourself.

Good app. I tried this app for a week. Overall it is great except a few problems: 1. Sometimes when i start a new workout , it load the distance and calories numbers from my last workout, very annoying; 2. I want to use this app on my iwatch with bluetooth heart rate monitor. I have to connect iwatch instead of iphone to the heart rate monitor. But the bluetooth connection on iwatch is disconnected very often. If i connect the bluetooth heart rate monitor to iphone, the iwatch will not read the heart rate from bluetooth heart rate monitor. The connection between iphone and bluetooth heart rate monitor is very reliable though.

Great app!. Have used this for over three years now for weights, cycling, walking and cardio. If you are into data, it provides numerous informative metrics. It integrates well with Apple Health and includes a very functional Apple Watch app. Love the different workout types and, having tried multiple fitness apps, I find this one to be my exclusive go-to solution. Finally, the company has done a very good job keeping the app current with new features and bug features. Highly recommend for casual or advanced fitness enthusiasts!

Great App. I was using a whoop strap before which is very sophisticated but I wasn’t really using the information as well as I could have. This app does just as much (minus sleep and recovery tracking.) I mostly just use trackers to see where my heart rate was during certain points of any given workout. This app is perfect for that. It also tracks outdoor runs pretty accurately which can’t be said for other apps. If you have an Apple Watch and are looking for an app to help you track your fitness this one is it.

Excellent app. Except for the repeated requests to rate, this is really an outstanding fitness tracker. Many built in work out types and ability to easily create and use custom types. Functions like walking, cycling include GPS which can be exported to GPX and other common formats. Updates Activity rings on Watch. Can manually add workouts from other sources and can import workouts added to Apple Health by other apps. Can start workouts On phone or Watch and can use Bluetooth HR strap. Sometimes I’ve noticed “Waiting for GPS” hang ups on Watch but not a big deal. Overall has been reliable, flexible, and very useful.

Glitchy AF. The connection between the Apple Watch app and the phone app is very glitchy. It lost connection a lot and I had to keep looking at my watch to keep it open so that the phone could get data for the heart rate. I never did get to finish troubleshooting it, because the trial ended and bricked the app. For the number of times I had to look at my watch to make sure the connection was maintained and the data was remotely close, I might as will just look at my watch, which is what I was doing before this app. I’m not even certain the data was real-time, because of all these problems. I really wanted this concept to work. I’ve been looking for real-time heart rate monitoring and display to my phone or haptics for my watch, but I’ll have to keep waiting and looking. Hopefully, Apple will one day add this feature natively.

The Best everyday exercise app. I’ve tried them all and this one is the best by far. I’ve used it for 3 or 4 years and don’t plan on moving on anytime soon. Apple Watch functionality is fantastic. Data and insights is great. It plays nice with Strava. Every now and then there’s an issue with freezing but I blame my Apple Watch 2 which is pretty old as of this year (2020). But I use this app every single day and rarely have issues. I dare you to find any activity it doesn’t have listed in its programming. Really dig it.

Most Underrated and Comprehensive Fitness platform. This is a complete app as a user and coaching platform. - programmed workouts - workout editor to follow along coaching plans - complete tracking with nutrition and apple health integration - adjust HR Zones according to user - community - accountability So many more awesome features! Looking forward to where the developers go next. Maintain target HR and maximise results!. I've been using the WHOOP fitness/lifestyle tracker, and its main limitation was the absence of a real-time HR display during workouts - perhaps the only setback from pricier smartwatches. This app fills that gap brilliantly! It continuously provides voice updates on your heart rate, based on your preferences and target zone, ensuring you remain in the optimal range for peak performance. It's fantastic! One suggestion: perhaps refine the voice used and tweak the voice feedback phrasing. For example, the ability to opt for "HR" instead of saying "heart rate" each time.

No help. I have been using this app for years. A month or so ago, the GPS stopped working and location services disappeared as an option. I reached out to support multiple times with one or two responses and then nothing. I sent multiple screenshots and deleted and redownloaded the app more than 10 times. Extremely disappointed with the lack of support. If GPS doesn’t work, the app is useless to me. The GPS on every other app works fine, so it’s clearly an app issue. - UPDATE: GPS works now after much trial and error on my own. It’s a great app, but unfortunate I had to fix it myself.
