Lag. The app is very easy to use and straight forward, had no problem booking and choosing seats and there are many options to choose from. Although the app had a little bit of lag for instance i couldn't check in from the app because it was lagging and had to go to the website to enter my passport number and other information because the app was not saving my data. Other that that thank you for a great experience

So so buggy!. Totally dysfunctional. No clue why the rating here is so high. Anytime I need to make a change, no matter what it is, I get an error. It's so buggy. Also the keyboard hides the field you're typing into. This is the worst airline app I've ever experienced. I really do not understand all the positive reviews. For example I get SIMPLE_E_LENGTH_TOO_SHORT when I try to save my passenger info. Is this because some of the info loads in the app as "on file" and so is shorter than expected? More importantly why would you expose internal error messages to the user without explaining what they mean. I also often get an error when loading trip info. It says can't load, try again in a few minutes. I've gotten this error maybe 10 times while using this app for one round-trip flight. I thought United's app was bad, but at least it works.

Worst airlines postponed my travel without my interference. Worst airlines which reschedule your flight without your convenience which will alter my plan and my entry to the country I’m a student I can’t able to enter into country if my flight lands in the country after my start date of classes which will may lead to deportation from the country. I will not book from this airlines ever again and also not suggest other to book a flight from Emirates. I’m uninstalling the application right now.

Completely nonfunctional. This is one of the worst airline apps I have ever had the misfortune of trying to use. For the entirety of our trip from San Francisco via Dubai to Tehran the app was timing out on trying to retrieve the booking. Online checkin wasn’t working either. Deleted the app and used the mobile website, which coincidentally isn’t much better, but at least online checkin sometimes worked. This experience alone is turning me off from flying Emirates again.

Must have for emirates travelers. The app is the must have for all Emirates travelers. Interface is clean and useful which helps from book flights to check your skywards status. As a frequent flyer, it’s so useful to me. Need some flexibility. Looking forward for more options.

Don’t use them rip off thief’s. So I upgraded my seats on two flights my company booked, within a few days after I upgraded my seat, my company canceled the flights. Emirates would not refund or put toward new flights the upgrades I paid for already. This is the same as being a thief and you know there going to sell the same seats again to someone else and make double the money that is being a thief. So take your chances with them if you like to support that type of bad behavior and no help after the sale when they get your money that’s it they are done with you no service after the sale.....:(

Could be 5 stars. It’s easy to navigate but only issue is that sometimes it keeps loading and loading forever on iPhone. If it can be fixed then it can have a 5 stars 🌟. If possible please add an option to attach each passengers profile picture: )

Gets worse with every upgrade. Feedback from 6 year platinum customer. Is anyone actually testing this app? Is anyone noticing how so many features don’t work anymore? And the GUI has become so bad, colours, icons. And all these “no data” and “no results” messages. You think they would check the links to the database. Fix it. It’s now easier to use Kayak to find emirates flights than to use your app.

Failed to complete booking but charged card. So I tried to use the app to book a flight over the holidays. The process went smooth until the credit card was charged. The app said the charge failed. I know my bank can be a little defensive so I just used the web and a different bank card. But when I looked at the statement for my original card, the charge for the flights went through. Called the help line and they had me fill in a request for a ticket refund. They had to give me the reference number and ticket numbers to submit—I never had those. Now I wait 14-21 days for a refund to my credit card that should never have happened. Bottom line, use at your peril and watch your bank statements.

Easy to use. I have the Emirates app extremely easy to use on my trip abroad. Definitely easier than checking emails for updates or to check in via website.

App crashes constantly. Since the last two updates, the app crashes nearly every time I want to use it for my itinerary showing the fault indication: “we experience a technical problem, please try again later”. I have tried to restart my phone, delete the app and reinstall it, yet no improvement has been observed and I believe some necessary work needs to be done to fix the functionality of this app. The maximum rating is 3 stars which is only for the diversity of the menu. In terms of functionality for current flights, it deserves only 1 star as the app experiences technical problems every day since the last weeks.

No issues at all. I see others saying the app is not great but this is the first time I flew Emirates (JFK to Milan) and the app has been great! So is the airline it’s FAR superior to United and was over $1k less total. I will try to fly them now if I can!

Disappointed. Updating i purchased my ticket on this app i was trying to update my returning trip make change they told me I can’t change i have to go there agent to change it leads me to cancel my ticket and I take back ethiopian airlines mast complicated airline ever not recommended I heard a lot of time fly emirates i was excited the flight attendant was rude they can’t even wait you to finish talking i was transit in dubai connection fly dubai going to Hargeisa somaliland they left all my 6 luggage in dubai i was waiting two days to get my friend was after me 2 weeks he get 5 luggage they did to him same

Absolutely Pathetic. I have been trying to get hold of their service team for a week. I am trying to checkin for my flight to the US, but I have only 2 options: I am either a US permanent resident or I cannot use USA as an option in counter of residence. Since I am only in the US on a visa I am not a permanent resident, so I can’t check in on the app. Also I have a 12 hour layover in Dubai, but it won’t let me book Dubai Connect, there is no option to book it. Even worse is their customer service, I have been calling them for at least a week, and I am always in queue, perpetually. They don’t hesitate charging premium amount but won’t fix their user interface or pick up the call or provide live chat.

You cannot contact the airline. The app works fine for booking trips, changing seats, and checking flight updates. However if you find yourself needing to change your flight, even if you purchased a flex flight, the related page runs into “technical difficulty”, and that happens consistently. Next you might try to contact the airline with your succinct request, and alas you run into an infinite wait. For a high end airline the app is pretty low end.

Stupid way to check options! You start all over😩. I find he app very rigid when booking or searching for best flights, if on were to check another day or another option, you have to start over. Also, you should be able to find out the cost of all options, such as class or mileage costs in one go. That’s what other airlines do.

Emirates should be ashamed of this App. It is just amazing as it is appalling to find out that this leading Airline’s digital app is so pathetically designed and executed. Does not load properly, session timeouts galore, FAQs and Feedback, Contact Us etc just don’t work. Looks like they outsourced this to a cheap IT labor sweatshop and this is the results of it. Emirates should be ashamed of putting out such an app. I just quit booking anymore just because I cannot use the App.

NEVER FLY EMIRATES OR FLY DUBAI. Absolutely the worst service, hidden extra baggage fees, I couldn’t add an additional bag online, the system wouldn’t let me, I emailed & called them. They said I had to check the extra bag at the airport & there was no guarantee that it would get on the plane. In the end they charged me 270€ for the bag & said I was supposed to call them 24 hours before the flight. Their won’t be a next time. I wrote to them after the flight, they said it’s my fault for not calling them 24 hours in advance, when trying to check in. I could pay for a seat but not a bag and no where does it say to call them. This is the 21st century this should be handled on line. Every other airline lets you check In baggage on line. I travel nonstop, I’m a digital Nomad. Please do not give them your business. Outrageous baggage fees!! Never again!

About Emirate journey. It is really pleasure for me I am frequent traveler also gold skyward member. Since 2010 I am travelling by Emirate. From my experience of emirate it is one of the best airlines in the World who are maintaining timing, discipline, cleanliness, All pilot & crew teams are very polite and sincere . The Emirates always find new destination and also find new language of crew and what is now covering maximum languages for service of all kinds of passengers. I always love Emirate flying and also inspired my friends and relative accordingly .

Easy simple process. It was very easy to navigate and simple few steps and you are booking. I love it. I recommend it to everyone. You may save $3 or $4 to book on other sites. Use this app without the pressure of buying the additional things.

Most challenging app to use. This is my first time flying Emirates. I’ve flown all over the world on many different airlines, but have found the Emirates app to be one of the most difficult to use. I’m using an iPhone 8+ that has the current iOS, but everything from booking to setting up my Skywards account to buying my seats to checking in has been difficult. I ended up calling Emirates twice to purchase seats and then again to get my passport number entered as it wouldn’t take. And, the app kept entering my birthday in Skyward on the wrong day, too, so now I have to go through some convoluted process that can only be done from a PC to fix that. Meanwhile, I’m still not fully checked in, so guess that will happen at the airport. I’m no techno-peasant, so it isn’t user error. For what I’ve paid I sure expected better. This has been so frustrating!

Sky rewards doesn’t work. I get a service failure message when I try to access my sky rewards through the app. It would be really nice if I could see my past flights and rewards points. Everything else seems to work well for me. I have used the app to book flights, select seats, and upgrade.

iPhone X support. Thank you for adding this, even if it comes long after most other apps have done so. I’ve been a customer for over 15 years and I am glad to see that your app is finally catching up to your otherwise stellar service.

Refund. On 4th December, my Bank advised me about 2nd & final refund of our unused tickets ( Mumbai-Washington DC-departure 15thApril 2020 )which were booked on 24th January 2020 with a single payment for both the tickets. The first part of refund was recd on 18th August 2020. We could not utilise the tickets as the flights were cancelled by the authorities. We wonder if we are entitled to any mileage points or discounts for the unused tickets. —-Cordially, Rameshchandra Shah.

Normally decent but broken for the last 2 weeks. I’m not sure what’s happened but the app has been unable to pull up my travel itinerary. Works fine on a computer based browser but app displays a message that the itinerary is unavailable temporarily. In term of the app itself, not the best but not the worst. Might be a good idea to tie app login to the onAir wifi connection.

Flights cheaper on other sites. I really love the app and find it hugely convenient, my only issue is that I see the Emirates flights cheaper on other sites. The flight that I am flying on 18 Feb is cheaper on Travelstart than on your own app ( R400 ) I only allow my kids and family to fly Emirates and I only book via your website or app but why is this not the most cost effective option?

Frequent Flier. Emirates Airlines has set the highest standard in the airlines industry, I am a loyal fan. However the APP is not up to such standard. The APP needs to be improved in so many ways. I have to renter my frequent flyer every time there is a booking. I have to renter the next-in-kin info and it fails to accept the info some times. The Check-In option does not work sometimes. For a frequent traveler, this APP should free of failures. In comparison with the other airline I use, this APP has many issues.

It’s ok. I am someone who travels alot due to work. I have a Known Traveler Number that I placed on my emirates account and every time I book a flight and get to the airport, I have to go through the long lines because emirates fails to put my KTN number on my reservation. There needs to be a spot on the mobile app during check in that people can put their KTN number in. The only spots right now is just a frequent flyer spot and to add an additional passport. So basically I have a KTN for no reason.

Very disappointed with the customer service. Very disappointed, I fill up all the info needed to purchase my ticket and somehow I had to confirm with my family for the trip that we are going, I don’t know somehow the purchase is completed and I called Emirate with less then a minute to cancel my flight and to purchase a new destination, but they didn’t even want to lesson my situation and charged me 700AED per person for 4 people...I ended up paying 2800 AED cancelation fee with less than 5 min wrong purchase.

Boarding Pass & Baggage Tracking. 1. Digital Boarding Pass in the app/wallet is a great feature. Today was the first time I used it for my international trip and I loved it. However, I was surprised that it did not display the Gate information, neither at the originating airport nor in Dubai. Gate number is logical info on a boarding pass. 2. Baggage Tracking feature: Enhance this feature to track our bags not only when a PIR is logged but also on a as-and-when basis. I should just be able to scan my baggage tags given to me and it should tell me where my bags are.

I would rate it 5 if it supports Arabic. I am confused how an Arabic Airline based in Dubai does not support Arabic language! Furthermore, when i save a trip and try to open it later on, it takes a long time loading it and sometimes i have to close and reopen the App several times to access it.

Terrible app. What a terrible app. Slow And unresponsive at the best of times but the icing on the cake is the session handling. Quit completely and relaunch (more than once), try and search to book a flight... “session expired” error. No, I just quit and restarted the app, I have no session, I think to myself, but whatever I do I can’t even start the search for a flight. Seems like Emirates doesn’t want my business! Useless, terrible app with a lazy web frame in the app instead of doing it properly - whoever wrote this should be ashamed, and then fired. 1* only because zero stars isn’t an option.

Amazing App, one click away from doing all your booking. Emirates Airlines's app is really amazing App. It is one click away from doing all your booking; Traveling ticket, hotels, car rentals... etc it so convenient and smart solution. However, I would love to have additional features in the app; buying additional weights, booking chauffeur other than Emirates cars if traveling economy class...etc

great app!. This is such a great app! It’s so easy to see your tier and manage your miles, book a trip, manage a booking and I love how there is an IPhone X update! If you fly Emirates, you need this app! It also gives real time notifications about what gate your flight is departing from, when you can check in, etc.

Not a very good app :(. There was a glitch when I was making my account and even though I selected my correct birthdate, it changed it so it was one day off. I didn’t notice until I created the account. You cannot change the birthdate yourself, you have to ask them to do it and send them a copy of your passport... I have a screenshot of the glitch because I logged out and started the create an account process again to see what happened. You have to choose a day later than your actual birthday to get it to display the correct date. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Many simple errors; changes your birthday. When you create an Emirates membership through the app, it insists in changing your birthday, and then of course it doesn't match your passport - just try 'Join', and select any date - the little text shows the day before. I guess they convert it to UAE time zone. assigning a membership to an already booked flight seems to work, but next time you come back, it's gone. Saved passport is not applied to flights, you have to all type it in again. Does anyone *test* the app even for ten seconds?

App failing to process the booking. I concur with the other person rating... Emirates the airline for me deserves a 5+ for their service and safety but not so this App....I spent 3 (three) days trying to purchase a return ticket Juba to Tampa. The first day system stopped the booking at some point advising something like the seats reservation was experiencing problems (or could not be allocated...) the price was something like $2576; the second day to my surprise the price had increased about $30 so, I tried booking again several times stopping always at same point, so decided to do a reset (in case it was my phone...) but still unsuccessful. The third day since I knew the drill of the price increase I did not get surprised and kept trying... so the price had already passed to about $2636 so I got so frustrated that decided trying to book with my miles but at the end could not; so, finally opted going via another airline and bought the ticket in a nick of a dime with their app just to see now an update has arrived for Emirates App but for me was too late...(if it indeed works as it should be). Good luck!

Crashes & errors, but easy boarding. The app crashes, freezes, and hits errors anytime you try to do anything but search for bookings or check in for your flight. Can’t handle modifications, upgrades, add-ons, etc. Great for the basics but needs some work for easier, faster, and/or advanced use.

Disappointed. The app main (important) features does not work. You can’t view seats, see the seating chart or select a seat on the app that just doesn’t make sense to me. I can’t even see my own booking on the app. I am phone user, I use my phone for everything when traveling and not to be able to use your app is very disappointing to me.

Alwas problematic. Keeps asking for an update and takes me to app store where there is no update to be found. One minute I have the boarding pass displayed, the second minute it disappears: made it through all check points without a problem until the pass stopped loading; the crew had to print a new “paper” pass for me to board the plane! Long story short: Always have a print out of your boarding pass in hand.

3 stars because standard for Emirates is higher. I enjoy flying with Emirates, and the app is decent. That said, I could not figure out why the Skywards info in the app is always so outdated? I am writing this review in an Emirates flight from Dubai to Houston (August 16, 2023), but my Skywards account info (in the app) still showing the 2022 balance. Fix it please, I don’t want to login your website every time just to see my mileage balance.

So far so good. The UX of the app is smooth and intuitive. Just used for the first time to check-in and update my personal details. Will get mobile boarding pass tomorrow within the 24 hour window.

Functional & Convenient. Like the title implies, I have found this app to be simple and effective to use. I've used it to book my flight, modify my assigned seat selection, and upgrade my flight all within the app. Haven't had an issue to report yet.

Graphics without substance. I spent 2 hours trying to change a ticket. Three people, one changes plans. The app or website won’t allow the passengers to be separated. I lost a full ticket when I paid extra for flexibility. App does not implement Emirates contracted policies. On the more simply annoying side, I have added and saved my card details three times. Make features work and ensure the app aligns with your contract of carriage.

Can’t complete checkin in the App. Since the app was updated a month ago April 2019 and I’m not able to use it to check in as every time it will give me an error and that I have to check in at counter I called the Emirates call center and they send me the boarding pass by email Or I have to go to check in counter at airport to complete the transaction and print the boarding pass This is very annoying especially I’m a regular Traveller every week and this is very annoying Emirates please fix this issue

Emirates Skywards is rip off. Totally a rip-off. So i have my membership for couple years , every time i book through the app after login to my account , i noticed that my skywards miles always showing zero. Chatted with support and she telling me you have to check after 48hrs of your booking and call us to to claim. Really i have to call and look after a rewards. ITS YOUR MARKETING LOL Deleting app and switching to Some where else.

Raving Fans. My girlfriend is a raving fan of this airline. She will fly across the US from California to NY just to use Emirates to fly from NY to Dubai then to Australia, as opposed to flying directly to Australia from California due to no direct Emirates flights. Looking forward to getting the Emirates experience. Also, the app is the best app I have used for buying plane tickets, user friendly and clean design.

16 hours connection with no hotel room. It was a terrible experience and the representative of their connection office was very rude. As a normal protocol I should be offered a hotel room as my connection was 16 hours which is more than 10 hours but they let me stay all this long time at a cheap lounge. Additionally, I submitted a feedback regarding this experience with no answer till now(as I expected) before almost a month. Never repeat this experience again with your service. Never ever!

Such a Stupid Application. When more information is required, app may show part of passport number and nationality, but require passport expiry date. Surely system already had passport expiry date too. Anyway, upon supplying the passport expiry date, app now indicates passport number and nationality data are required! Supplying these, app now wants the passport expiry data again!

Need more maps!. I love the app and think the functionality is amazing compared to other airline apps. I do however which there are more Airport maps to choose from. While the map feature is great, it’s only limited to 4 Airports at the moment.

Works well. Easiest checkin from iPhone. Can change seats and has mobile boarding pass

App fails to load, always “a problem with this request”. After updating to the latest version of the app I can’t open it beyond the logo screen and an error message “There seems to be a problem with this request. Please try again in a few minutes.” Completely unusable.

Easy to use. This app compiled everything in one easy to find place and is simple to use. Another string to Emirates now in providing high level information.

The best travel app. I don’t have loads of travel apps, but this one is significantly better than all the others. It has everything you need, is easy to navigate and the notifications arrive promptly

Buggy - session timeouts. It’s a shame but things seem to have gone backwards with recent updates. Carrying out functions such as selecting seats or booking cars often results in “Sorry your session has expired” even after re-starts or reinstalls. I appreciate you are hooking into a bunch of back-end systems (some of which are probably third party) but maybe caching what the user has requested in the app and having a retrying capability if there’s a timeout might be a reasonable compromise that might have people less frustrated?

Flight status. A link to the flight status would be useful

Emirates experience. It’s always a relaxing experience flying B class with Emirates. From relaxing in your own ‘cocoon’ or stretching out at the bar. It’s a great start to your holiday.

Good but often asked for details already provided. Good for the most part. However it is frustrating that when managing a booking or checking in that it asks for passport and next of kin details that are already on file. What make matters worse is the app often won’t accept the details when you enter them in. This bug needs to be fixed going forward.

Unable to access features unless you book through Emirates?. I have booked flights using Emirates through qantas and using my qantas frequent flyer number. Due to this I cannot access any of the features? Like trip updates/ playlist syncing etc? I chatted to Emirates who agreed it wasn’t possible. The app itself appears useful but it seems irresponsible to exclude so many of your travellers Happy to be wrong about this. If I’m not may I suggest that would be an incredibly useful update

Selecting seats almost never works. Almost every time I go on to this app to try and select seats for my app it comes up with a ‘technical error’ and when I do all the trouble shooting options that Emirates support provide, it still doesn’t work!! This app is absolutely terrible and so glitchy.

Check in through “Manage” section is rubbish. The app is easy to use when you don’t need to check in. However, it takes ages to connect when you want to check in using the “Manage” section. It eventually hangs, you have to shut the app and the alternative route to check in would be through the “Notification” section.

Unable to view trip details. Downloaded app but unable to view my trip itinerary. When I tap on my booking in the My Trips section, I receive an error message “Sorry, we have a technical problem at the moment. Please try again later.” Tried reinstalling app multiples times with no luck. Will have to manually print out itinerary to be safe.

need to update navigation. Developers…. Navigation on mobile is quite difficult on the app when it comes to the back action (arrow top left) when browsing movies. It is too close to top of screen. please change as quite frustrating.

5 Star Review For A 5 Star App. Well done Emirates, this app makes an already enjoyable journey even more enjoyable! It’s seamless, informative and innovative. What’s not to love about this app? Another reason to choose this airline every time.

Not bad. I couldn’t print the boarding passes from my safari , it says: There is a warning: You have selected to email your boarding pass to print it later. This can’t be opened or stored on a smartphone device. Please use your computer to view and print your boarding pass and bring it with you to the airport. If you wish to download your boarding pass on your mobile device, you can go back to online check-in and check if your departure station offers the mobile boarding pass option.

Currently almost useless…. App locks up whenever I try to manage a booking or check in (“we have a technical problem at the moment”). Well d’oh! yes you do. Have tried logging out and back in, as well as re-installing. Only workaround is to use the website instead. Love all the other aspects of flying Emirates so this level of problem is quite a surprise. Please fix.

Great App. Easy to use, easy to follow. This app provides all the info I needed to easily book and track my flights and easy to check in and manage my booking, would highly recommend

Best app. Have used this for all my travel bookings. Can complete bookings, seat selection, notifications, flight info, change flights and on line member info. Let’s me keep all my travel needs in my hand and easily accessible.

Travelling from Brisbane Australia to UK and then back to Bris. Been so great to get early notification on iPhone re checking in, checking out seats etc. We flew elsewhere on Jet Star and although they have an app that is similar, we couldn’t actually check in online via iPhone, it gave no indication that you couldn’t actually check in with it, and had to seek out a hotel laptop to check in. Such a pain. This has been excellent and gives us peace of mind.

Display on Apple Watch. I have an Apple Watch Series 6 44mm size. The Emirates Apple Watch app does not display correctly on the Apple Watch. The sizing of the information display is not correct and the pagination needs fixing.

This app has been brilliant. I’m travelling with our 11 year old with additional needs, being able to manage everything from my phone has been such a relief. Thank you.

Just excellent. Love this app, the best airline app I’ve used. So great to be able to view your seats in 360 mode, and super easy to check in and change seats. 👍🏼

Doesn’t work for your trips. The app hasn’t worked correctly on over 12 months. You go to your trips which show up , you try and open them and always a sorry technical hitch . Have spoken to them in Dubai about this. Have to keep using the laptop instead of the phone.

Easy to use. The app is easy to use. I could easily navigate to details regarding my flight including seats reserved and menus. My kids loved being able to create a playlist of movies for the flight too.

Perfect tool to start a perfect trip. Perfect tool to prepare for a perfect trip. Thank you for putting it into my hands. It is good to know that two days prior to my trip I am already checked in and taken care of. Emirates always taken care of me and it is good to travel with them again.

Website fails. Website fails to book and finalise the booking. Tried over and over again. Had to try the app which made the booking possible.

Confusing. My partner and I have been travelling to Europe and back to Australia. We were on seperate booking however I have entered both frights into the app - I am the main account holder. Throughout trip it has allowed me to check my partner in on line but doesn’t allow me to check in online? Also all of my previous points have disappeared?

Apps is ok but charging to choose a seat what a rip off. It is becoming common rip off by airlines. You pay for fare then when you log in to manage your flight they want more money to choose a seat. They started with charging for more leg room and double seats so acceptance by passengers gained now they started charging for every seat. It unacceptable behaviour by Emirates. It is a rip off.

Excellent for a frequent traveller. Excellent app. Works perfectly with my iPhone X. The strong aspects: intuitive, fast, convenient features. I use a lot the checkin menu to prepare my electronic boarding pass ahead of the trip. Handy to have indications such as gate number, notifications as when the boarding will open, carrousel number. I like as well the follow up of my loyalty miles. Very solid as well since I haven’t noticed any bug or experienced any app crashing. Enjoy!

App interface needs redesign for ipad. The app interface on the ipad looks like an enlarged version from an iPhone. This makes it look less professional and needs to be redesigned to make it fill entire screen and make it more ipad compatible.

App not working. Downloaded this app and it won’t open. I have an iPhone 12 with the latest iOS. Deleted the app and downloaded it again. Same error message “Sorry, there seems to be a problem with this request. Please try again in a few minutes.” Tried again… same result

App. Great app, everything you need is available and it’s easy to move around.

Out dated and falling behind. For one of the biggest, progressive and innovative airlines in the world, Emirates still, after all theses years have not developed an app that; a. works, b. is up to date, c. has more functionality, d. User friendly and much more. Emirates competitors and even small fry airlines are years ahead of them with their app development. Thumbs down.

Hit and miss. The app functionality in terms of looking at flights is absolutely fine. Easy to navigate. Then as soon as you try to do anything of consequence - I.e. see the cost of/try to book flights it crashes back to the dates selection page. So therefore, if you want to use the app to book flights, it’s not useful. Other things like seeing your skywards status etc. seem to work

Crashes constantly. The app crashes constantly when I’m using it in Australia and my friend from Ireland has the same issues. This can be extremely frustrating when I’ve spent time putting in information e.g. card information when trying to select seats, for it to then crash when I submit the request.

Couldn’t print boarding pass. App seems ok but I don’t understand that if you want to print your boarding pass the link it emails you does not work on the iPad. Then of course you can ask for mobile pass but it doesn’t work unless you have internet access, which can be tricky if you don’t have data or can’t get online at the time you need to board. Would be good if can fix this please

‘“Join now” button is disabled???. I just downloaded this app and I entered my information to sign up with Skywards... but the last name field keeps triggering an error? I don’t understand this experience and it’s almost a bit funny in a ridiculous way. Someone fix this bug??

Amazing Experience. I was thrilled the way the app is designed and it made my experience with Emirates memorable. It had all the right details required for my journey also included 360 view of my seats. I would def recommend this app if you flying Emirates!

Great notifications. The world can learn from EK App: great messaging system and notifications and all you need is in one place, unlike North American and Canadian airlines ... one improvement is to allow copy of reference number and ticket number...

Very far from user friendly. Although I'm logged in into the app, every time I check in I have to insert my skywards number?? Why is this the case? Check the SAUDIA app for simplicity and ease of you, 2 steps and you're checked in. Get it together emirates, it's enough that your standards have dropped significantly in the past couple of months.

Bad first impression. Just installed the app. When I open it, there’s a circle that keeps spinning for few seconds at the bottom of a red page, and then I see a message “Sorry, there seems to be a problem with this request. Please try again in a few minutes”. I restarted both the app & my phone several times but it didn’t solve the issue.

Update Requirements-. I have iPhone 6+ with software version - 12.5.1 and am not planning to buy a new iPhone in the near future as my phone is perfectly fine with absolutely no faults!! IOS with version > 13 will not be loaded in iPhone 6 + and this is Apple’s policy and also may be it’s business tactics to force customers to buy new iPhones and that’s okay with them. But Emirates should consider customers like me with iPhone software version less than 13.0 and hence accordingly their update should be compatible with older version of iPhones as well. Please do the needful Regards

Booking a flight. I was booking a flight from Beirut to Dubai from Jan 6 to Jan 10 it’s very affordable and convenient and I would recommend it for all of you to see your booking flight from the new flight.

Great app but needs a few tweaks. The app overall is great but needs some improvements to make the buttons and transitions look cleaner. Plus there is no logout option on this new update

Worst app experience. I have been using the emirates app for over 5 years. I should say it’s on my phone cause I never could really use it properly as the app always had issues. Right now I can’t login. I can’t give a feedback on the app itself. It’s super annoying especially when the airline is doing such a great job but their app is the worst.

Calendar Integration Missing. Good app but doesn’t integrate flight details into any of my calendars (iOS, Google, Windows). Pity!

Unreliable flight and mostly cancel flight. Unreliable flight. Mostly cancel a confirmed flight. Never provide accommodation even 10 hours transit (10pm to 8:30am) next flight to Los Angeles. As per international aviation rule, more than 8 hours transit, must provide accommodation to transit passengers. Must penalize Emirates Air.

Two problems with this app. My experience with the check-in on the app had two problems: 1. If you are on a transit through U.S the app still requires an address in the U.S even though you are only on a short transit there. I had to put the address of the airport to continue with the Check-in. 2. After you check-in through the app and it’s complete it will surprise you with a message that your mobile boarding pass is not available. So you have to check-in at the desk physically now to get the boarding pass which makes the process redundant and useless

Trips keep disappearing. The app is great, however my trips keep disappearing and I have to keep adding them over and over again every time, might as well use the website instead.

Technical Failure. The app has been crashing since the past two months and there has been no update to fix. The app repeatedly gives the “we are facing a technical failure” error.

Great user experience overall. Hi, I have come to greatly appreciate the new user interface that you guys rolled out. However I find myself getting kind of frustrated by the lack of any rubber banding effect when reaching the top or bottom of any scrollable content. It gives the wrong impression that the app simply stopped responding rather than letting the user know that that is in fact the edge of the list. Always shows technical error. Whenever I try to search for a flight I get technical error message. This has been showing from last 3 months. Are you not gonna fix it? Would expect a little bit of fast loading from a company like Emirates. When I use emirates website or app I feel like I’m in 2010.

Version not good. Current version seems much slower than previous. The back button when searching flights doesn’t work. You have to cancel search and start again. Very frustrating. The skywards graphical statement is gone. App takes long to open. Crashes when not on WiFi

App Fails with Itinerary Changes. I made some changes to my itinerary after completing 1/2 the trip. The booking was made by a travel agent. Ever since the changes were made, the app does not display my itinerary. I’ve logged out, deleted, re -installed. But I keep getting the same error message. “Sorry we are unable to retrieve your booking at the moment. Try again after a few moments “.

Where is the iPad version???. I had the iPad version for years and it was perfect. Few months back it suddenly stopped working so I deleted and tried to reinstall it. I couldn’t find the app in apple store anymore. Even the iPhone version is not available in US store I had to switch to emarati store and found. Please bring back the iPad version.

Can’t make purchases app crashes. Every time I try to purchase a ticket the app returns back to home page saying there is a technical problem please try again. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but it doesn’t work.

Great app, easy to book and manage tickets. I am planning to go to India and I wanted to fly Emirates. So I downloads this app. This app is easy to navigate and easy to book the tickets.

Used to be OK - useless now. I used this app about a year ago when I last flew emirates. The app worked fine for my seat selection and boarding passes. However, now I cannot get the app to add a booking I made online. It keeps giving me an error. I have tried the support 4 times now and they all tell me “Just use a computer”. App lags and unresponsive. The app lags frequently and most tabs are unresponsive. Also unable to add boarding pass to wallet. Took me 3 attempts to select seat. Had to shut the app n reopen it every time. Minor issue causing major inconvenience.

Keeps nagging about updated version. App won't let me access my flight details saying there is an update available and I need to update to use it. Unfortunately the latest version isn't yet available for me. The currently installed version is the one I see on app store for my account. Your app developer should've been considerate of these nuances in rollout process before enforcing the stupid "be on latest version" crazyness

Very slow. The app functionality is good, but it is extremely slow to load and does not work offline (which is unfortunate because I needed it to check when my next flight was scheduled). I was quite disappointed to see this level quality app for such a comfortable and high end airline.

An absolute best. This is by far the absolute best airline app ever used. Easy, intuitive, pretty much everything one click away. What a relief for once to use !

App Needs Major Overhaul. As the subject states this app needs to updated and overhauled. Skywards digital card I.e option of storing the membership card in the Apple Wallet doesn’t work. Despite no notifications, badge on the app states one notification. The badge doesn’t disappear even you delete and reinstall the app.

Best airlines with best mobile app. By far one of the best airlines applications at the amount of options you can with a touch of a button. Just hope we have an iPhone X update soon!

So useful, but has to stop slowing down, freezing and crashing. Love the app. It is very useful in my opinion. But when trying to buy an upgrade it just freezes. Few other useful functions also caused freezing or crashes.

Updated review. Responsive app support. I received a prompt explanation from Emirates for the below snafu and give them credit for client responsiveness and will upgrade review accordingly. Unusable when there an update I was at an airport with weak internet connection and the app would not let me use unless I updated which was impossible to do in a timely manner. We should not be held hostage of an update and should have the option to use the existing version.

App is really slow and asks for updates every week. Can’t use it offline when you really need it. App is massive for what it does and it’s a frustrating experience everytime I have to download it on a roaming connection. Not even considering the fact that roaming data charges add up really fast. They could really do with better engineers. It’s 2020 and their stuff is ancient.

The Worst Airline Ever. This app is useless as their services. I’ve been trying to add my Amex points and skyward miles ever since I opened this account and there’s always showing error messages. I flew with this airline, had 2k plus points and still I’m not able to add my points to the account. The customer service also the worst I’ve ever experienced.

Quick online checking. Simple and fast

App is very poor. Their app does the bare minimum. When you close Emirates you expect high quality this app is worse than that of the cheapest airlines. The seat selection feature doesn’t work, you can’t fully fill out multiple necessary forms. Don’t waste time to get the app simply use their website.

Unable to Add Digital Membership card to apple wallet. Tried to add card to wallet but everytime app crashes and throws error 503 from website. Even no response from app version. Hoping for a fix soon

Fails to properly load some reservations. Recently this app fails to load my (otherwise valid) reservations and when it does load them, it processes them inconsistently. Emirates offers very ltd support options for it - the chat function is poorly designed and not user friendly. Disappointing app...

Positive review. Not first time user! Very responsive and easily went through the procedures. Only rate it 4 stars because too much negatives reviews and even when it upgrades doesn’t quite changes anything(just upgraded to OS compatibility i presume)

Not Efficient. Each time I have to re-enter all my data Denny name as it appears in my passport, my passport number and the date my passport expires. Why can’t that info be a permanent record in my Skywards account and when I sign into it have it copied automatically?

Terrible. This app is really sad. I’m on the most updated version with on iPhone 12 and it still shows and old trip from last year under My Trips. Furthermore, it keeps spinning, I can’t even get to the book a flight page (just keeps spinning) and the Home Screen is blank. I can’t get to anything! Very annoying.

Major accessibility issues for voiceover user who are blind. This app is absolutely terrible for anyone who is blind using voiceover to access information. There’s absolutely no reason why it should be in accessible. I use plenty of apps that are fully accessible. It seems like Emirates has not taken any time or desire to make their app inclusive and accessible. Pretty embarrassing.

New iPhone screen optimization. I can’t believe the App still needs interface optimization for iPhone X, 8, 7 and 6S plus. I don’t know if the developer is living under a rock or what. Besides the UI needs a lot of enhancements to make more user friendly especially with updating the personal profile. Wake up and start using Touch ID and Face ID for logging in to the App. And whatever reason the app crashes a lot.

Useless application and very bad user experience. Overall bad application. Some points I figured out : 1. Not fetching user data though he is a registered skyward member. 2. Asks to update user details but after filling all fields it shows “We are unable to update your details. Try after some time”. What will happen after some time? 3. Country of residence is asked twice and both fields are mandatory. 4. I cannot select United States as my country of residence as it is not shown in the list. 5. I am not able to enter full name of Kin as you have placed restriction on the number of characters. Totally i am very much disappointed about this app.
