It’s great for pay to win, but if you’re F2P keep searching. Because it’s a super long grind. Don’t waste your time. They allow very few level up opportunities. You can’t level all the characters up to be viable or to make your options versatile for PvP. Whatever character you do invest your precious resources into leveling up will likely change in the next update. Are Batman or Superman the best super heroes?! Nope, of course not. It’ll be some flavor of the month character until people complain that they’re overpowered then it changes, right after you spend your resources on them to catch up. They do this so you pay real money to catch up with their monthly choice of the overpowered character. I’ve played for a year and half. I do have all the characters unlocked (for the moment). I am almost maximum player level and I only have 8 level 70 characters. (80 is the max level). 8 level 70s and close to 50 other characters who I can’t level up to try out or to expand my PvP options. And PvP is unbalanced. They include a power ranking for your team but it’s useless. You’d think my 29,000 power team would be able to easily beat 22k - 25k. No way. Those teams contain the flavor of the month which I can’t match because I spent my resources on the team that was good six months ago.

Great game with super potential!. This game is the first game I play that has me hooked for a long time. I gave up on many game phases that lasted weeks. Angry Birds, Pokémon Go, the list goes on...But being a DC Fan myself, and with upcoming films and continuous games and comics keeping us on the loop - actually enhances this games fun! Every week there’s updates and fun new characters and tokens for characters to win! The ONLY problem I have with this game is the fact that it’s updates can be slow and the character updates can be repetitive. Another major flaw with this game is that there comes a time when you realize that YOU HAVE to make in game purchases to catch up with the community.

Great game but.... I really enjoy this game a lot. It brings together a very nice roster of characters and the addition of reworks on characters gives you hope that if a character isn’t too good upon release, they might be in the future. It goes both ways however since it could be that they change a character entirely. There are many things I would love to see in the game in its future, but the one thing I’d like to request to the Devs (For what it’s worth) is the addition of guaranteed fragments from heroic mode. Nothing is more frustrating than spending double the amount of energy you do in regular mode to not even receive 1 fragment for a character you want. The guaranteed fragments would make it so you could at least slowly get characters you want as well as the opportunity to gather new heroes knowing that it’d be possible with the guaranteed fragments. I know there’s probably reasons why the fragments aren’t guaranteed, but I was thinking it could be possible since Injustice 2 was random before and then was updated to give guaranteed shards.

Be warned all ye that enter here. * = update to previous posts * I just ended a moderate Red Alert battle in which I had a superior team, in terms of levels and affinity. I didn’t have the opportunity to launch a single attack before my “moderate” opponents tore through my team like I was only level 1 DC Legends is a fun game for any DC fan who enjoys the opportunity to build up your favorite DC characters. Be warned, though, just because you build up an strengthen your characters doesn’t mean that they are built up and strengthened. I have been playing for a couple of years and have learned that characters’ levels and strengths don’t determine the outcome of battles, especially in the PVP mode. Periodically the game decides that you are going to lose all of your battles. You get to experience seeing lower level lower powered characters with no affinity bonus kill you with one shot. I have reported the problem several times, but I never get a response or even an acknowledgement. The only reason I haven’t deleted the game is that I am a diehard DC fan. Again, it’s a great game as long as you don’t expect the time and effort to level up your characters to mean anything.

Too many characters not enough game variety. The hero roster is impressive but this game is lacking in its most important aspect, actual gameplay, we need more game modes besides red alerts and pvp and monthly raids. More is needed, perhaps multi strategy gamemode like chess with the toons? A Pokémon like world where we can run into encounters while exploring with our fav characters. A board game mode moving from piece to piece. Literally anything to break up the regular program. This game has enough heroes!!! It needs balances, artifacts or enhancements for toons and MORE GAME MODES Other than that this is an OK game, the support is certainly there from the developers they only need to be more bold and creative- please take risks I would like this to feel more like an rpg, and more and to see more variety in Gamplay.

Rigged. This game draws you in with DC and the idea of being able to play your favorite Superheroes. But as you progress into the game you realize mostly they just want you to have to buy in game content to truly succeed or gather the heroes you want. Which I could live with if when I went to fight battles accounting their own lvl system and I still lose. All of the sudden the game decides I’ve done enough than the enemy team will get tow or three turns in a row or all The enemies super powers activate every time while none of yours do. Making it where you lose no matter what. If the fighting system was fair. If the A.I. Didn’t randomly take my choices from me. They make it for you to lose on purpose. Not by any fault of yours, just a fault of the game always playing in the favor of the of the PC.

Good game, in active development. No big bugs I can tell, and though you can spend $$ to accelerate progress, it is REALLY NOT NECESSARY, at this point. The game is a bit barebones when compared to its two, closest competitors, but then, it IS a lot of fun, and very involving already :) SWGoH (Star Wars Game of Heroes) has been around and in constant development for about 3 years, and I feel like THIS game is far more polished than was the Star Wars offering at this point in its Dev cycle. MSF (Marvel Strike Force) is also a new, successful, and growing game. It is further along in development, and I enjoy both games. MSF is FAR pushier in offering pop-up “deals” and “sales” than DCL (DC Legends), but is nearly identical in its core game mechanics. The question is, can both Dev teams succeed in making games so polished and fun that the market will offer a successful size of market share in order for both to succeed. Currently, I am playing all three games (SWGoH for over two years..), plus several others. If I ever get back to work :)) I’ll have decisions to make :))

Decent concept...mediocre execution. Before I begin ranting...let me preface this by saying that the game play can be pretty fun, when it’s working, but I don’t recommend putting money into the in-app purchases as the return on your investment can be very disappointing. I’ve been a comic fan for close to 50 decades...it seems that Warner Brothers has taken DC from THE industry leader, into a painfully slow downward spiral to where they’re putting out second rate product at best. It’s disappointing because DC always was (and always WILL be) my favorite comic company. This game is similar in play to their longtime rival’s offering...but the graphics here aren’t as polished, the character interaction is limited and comparatively rudimentary to the competition. The programming is becoming increasingly glitchy, I get at an error message at least one time every time I play and on occasion the game will crash during game play. So far to date the RAID BOSS event that periodically is featured is a shining example of everything I’m talking about here. I got multiple screenshots to show I’m not making this up...every time the event comes up. Characters will freeze while the timer runs out...you’ll see your characters bobbing up and down but not attacking and sometimes the raid bosses kill your characters while you’re unable to attack back. I can go on and on about the shortcomings but I think you get the point.

Please read/ unhappy 🙁 with this app. I play DC legends daily but it’s mostly in the evening but anyways I’m experiencing a lot of problems one of the problems I don’t know if you guys already know about it or not but when you go in a claim your daily reward I go to claim it and I find out it’s the same reward I had yesterday but it stole my reward from me and then gave it back to me today I have no idea why it did that to me I don’t know if it’s a bug issue in the app it’s self but whatever it is please fix this issue I don’t like the fact that it’s doing this to me but the weird part is it only does it on rare occasion I just don’t know what triggers it to do that but anyways I feel really bad about having to give this app 1 star right now but with the issues I’m having with this app I had no choice but to give it 1 star but if this issue gets fixed I will be more than happy to give this app 5 stars again but please fix this issue

Unbalanced heroes. When this game first started, it was fun to play. After hanging on for almost a year of playing this game, I have to stop. The creators are so oblivious about the unbalanced of the characters. They were able to correct one character power after hundreds of complaints. However, they continue to over power a few of them. Using these over power characters together you become unstoppable and can defeat any opponent with much higher levels without taking any casualty. I.e. Powergirl can easily defeat a whole team single handedly as long as she has at least one go around. Etrigan can do the same with two turns because his intelligence will be off the roof. And then the new Starfire, she is so over power and un-killable. she hits hard and almost on every character’s turn (when pair with a continuous heal heroes like Swampthing...) and has death immunity. She can kill Almost all teams without it even being her turn. It vexes me each time waiting and waiting for the creators to correct these unbalances, but now I am done and will delete the game. It would be nice if the creators actually play the game so they can see the problems that the players see.

Good but…. First the good. There is a lot of content characters, decent amount of energy for daily rewards, straight forward leveling, raid event common, always coming out with content. Now the bad. Pay to play is boss, pvp with pay to win players can halt you almost a days worth of energy. Have to use energy to restart the board if you run into one. Worthless characters that you will never use including the big three. All the new characters overpower the old. Some way over powered but if you didn’t spend the money. You wouldn’t be able to make them viable. Events are guild based. So if you play solo you will not get the best rewards because you can’t amass points. Also 2 week pvp top guy gets more points then you with bought energy then you can collect in 6 months roughy I finish top 1000 with 2k points, winner will have roughly 6k to 8k. disclaimer time I started playing within the first month of launch so I’ve got years dedicated. I did spend a little money in the beginning to get leveled and get my favorite leveled. Normally finish pvp within the top 1000 so not to bad. I log in twice a day when energy is maxed and play until it’s all used. So all it all, I enjoyed this game for years but just tired of road blocks from the pay to play. I know the game is free and they need to make money. Now it’s time to freely hit the delete button.

It used to be SO much better.... I’ve been playing DC Legends practically everyday since it first came out in 2016. The game is virtually the same as it was when it first came out, though it has amassed a rather large roster of characters, both heroes and villains. The new characters introduced each month were the reason I kept coming back day after day and why I’ve spent money to grow my own roster of characters. I’ve dedicated countless hours playing in PVE arenas, upgrading my characters and fighting in PVP battles to acquire the characters I’ve wanted and perfect my teams but it seems like certain game features have changed in the last few months. I’ve noticed that the game’s PVP matchmaking is drastically different than it used to be. I myself have a pretty good PVP team but it seems like every time I play the PVP arenas, I get matched with other players who are so far beyond my level and impossible to defeat, making the game both infuriating and aggravating. I don’t know what the game developers changed or why they changed it, but the game just isn’t as fun as it once was. It’s sad that after dedicating and spending so much time playing this game, that it’s now not worth playing anymore. I just hope the game developers fix the problem.

Store is a rip off. I really like the concept of this game and all the characters that are included. With that being said, the store is a COMPLETE RIP OFF. Gems are over priced for one thing. Then the daily specials are sneaky rip offs too. For example, today there is a “thanksgiving special” where you get 500 energy 10 arena battles 50 insta wins and 50k essence for 1.3k gold. You can go ahead and buy 250 energy and 30 insta wins for 500 gold any time of the year in the store. You can then buy 10 arena battles for 100 gold. That’s 1200 gold, which saves you 100 gold. Don’t worry about the essence. It’s the easiest thing to come by. The arena rewards you’re better off buying only the 350 arena point packs. They give you 7 character shards each instead of paying 1k arena points for 16 shards and tiny chance of rarer shards. All in all, Fix the balance of the packs and this game will be legit. 👌🏼

Customer service doesn’t help. First off, I do love this game. The concept is amazing and it’s honestly too easy to get addicted! The only reason that I gave it 3/5 stars is because it is outdated when it comes to being able to save your progress. I spent some money, time and effort on this game with the belief that I would be able to pick up where I left off at any point. When I got a new phone and re-downloaded it was unfortunate when I found out I had to start all over from 0. I did contact customer service and provided my member ID and all of the necessary information in the hopes of retrieving my lost progress , but I was turned down quick, getting told “There’s nothing we can do for now, I’m sorry”. I do hope that I can still get assistance to retrieve my progress or have the capability to link the account to something more universal so I won’t have to start over in the future.

Hits the nerd sweet spot. SUPER ADDICTING(in a good way though) This game isn’t complicated and very easy to pick up once you’ve gotten the hang of it. It’s awesome because DC isn’t JUST using the same mega heroes that we see over and over in the media. Power girl, super boy, mera, Jessica Cruz, just to name a few. The powers of each character differ from the rest, so here does come the opportunity to strategize on what route you wanna go for an upcoming battle I.e. do you want a big healing advantage or have your turn meter on high and get more attacks in? You don’t have to spend money to have fun and do well in the game, I hate micro transactions...but even I was compelled to make a small purchase. Great, fun, and no stress game to take your mind off being a serious adult.

Addictive. I have been playing for several months and I find it highly entertaining. There are plenty of characters and they interact in interesting ways. Some of the modes force you to use different teams which has often opened my eyes to characters I initially overlooked. I was initially very frustrated when fighting Deathstroke and Lobo but I eventually learned they can easily be beaten with the right strategy and a minor adjustment to your team (add Catwoman for example). I wish that we had a choice of skins to use on our characters because often I prefer the standard skin to the "legendary" one (Huntress, Enchantress, Reverse Flash, etc). It would be great if we could choose how they look after we level up our characters. I'll admit that I spent way more real money than I expected but since I play every day it is money well spent for the entertainment value.

A Note on Progression. I want to say I love this game, but it is plagued with the same issue as many other mobile games. The way to progress can be done in-game, but it is so slow and unrewarding; in particular with the characters you want. I’ve spent so much time trying to level a certain character but there’s no way to guarantee your efforts— and what’s worse, your money— will get you what you’re grinding for. The character-specific missions give you shards so few and far between that it leaves me wanting to quit altogether out of hopelessness rather than push forward. Again, once I get what I’m working towards, I never feel rewarded, just irritated and regretful of the time and money I spent doing so. It’s a shame because otherwise, it’s a fun little game. I hope this gets addressed. This game could be— should be worth playing.

Absolute garbage. Just a trash game.. Even when you have 8-10 Legendary heroes and a dozen or so 5 star heroes (which are high level heroes) there are still game modes where the computer can have a worse team than you and still beat you EASILY. It’s almost impossible to get through the last level of the “gauntlet” style Red Alert mode. I’m that mode in almost every match the computer will get 5 or 6 more turns than you do even if your team is better. And they will also constantly use their passive abilities making it almost impossible to cancel those out too. It’s just absolute trash. No matter how good your team is it will never be good enough to beat the computer is what I’ve learned from this game. Do not spend a single penny on this game, you will regret it. Update: Things have only gotten worse. Now they’ve added impossible to beat gauntlet levels and teams where you have to kill people 3 times before they stay dead. It’s even more trash than before. The only reason I play this is because I love DC so much and there aren’t many DC games out there

Game is great but Support is worthless so.... I’ve been playing this game for about a year and a half. I’ve never had in-app purchase issues, until July 3, 2020. I purchased an energy gear pack and didn’t receive anything. I didn’t think anything of it because things happen. So I closed and restarted the game. Still nothing. I planned on purchasing the max allowed so I made another purchase and got what I purchased every time, except for the first one. So I put in a ticket and got a response. My issue is the response I got stated because my bank statement shows the purchase as still pending I’m basically not getting what I purchased and had already been charged for. I sent screenshots of my bank statement and apple purchases. This is unacceptable. You have never made me wait for a transaction to post in order to get what has already been charged and paid for before this. Now, because of something that is YOUR fault, I have to wait for you to decide when you want to fix the issue basically. I’ve spent honest to God probably over $1,000 on this game, and you don’t want to just fix the problem and keep a customer happy. Again unacceptable.

Decent with fatal flaw. The gameplay while a bit tedious is decent enough to keep you playing. The opportunity to obtain some character shards is good but if you miss the events you will have zero chance to obtain the character. All in all, not a bad game. The one fatal flaw to me is the power numbers. Believe it or not, the developers decided that the increase in the ability levels will not be figured into the power of the character or the team. Therefore, your team could have a power ranking 5,000 points hire than your opponent in PvP and you will be destroyed with nary a turn because your opponents abilities are maxed out. Why would the abilities, which really determines the strength of a character, not be figured into power. Either just plain stupid or something more nefarious. To me the fatal flaw will most likely lead to me deleting the game.

Been playing a few years. I used to play Injustice, the mobile app, which I liked much better than the console version of that game. I gave it up after mysteriously losing characters and a bunch of gear and levels and stuff (apparently due to limited free memory on phone). New phone, new game! I haven’t had that issue in DC Legends, thankfully. I can’t really compare Injustice to DC Legends because they are so different. Legends is more of an classic RPG style game, where your team of four heroes take turns against another team of heroes. Your team consists of 4 and the hero in the leader position gives the team a special ability. The game requires a great deal of time if you want to compete with the big dogs. There’s an option to spend money, but it’s not required, and I don’t recommend it. Items in the shop are WAY overpriced and it’s easier to earn the stuff in game than to spend your hard earned $. I recommend saving your gold to strategically recharge so you can earn levels, gear, ranking, etc via battles. What you get for the gold by spending it in the in-app shop is pretty pathetic usually.

Trash. Things I hate about this game: 1. Passive abilities work for the Ai pretty much every time and rarely work for you. 2. The Ai gets a ridiculous amount of more turns than you. 3. You can have a higher rated stronger team than your Ai opponents and you still lose most of the time mostly cuz the Ai gets to move 1st most the time and even if they’re weaker than you they still 1 shot knock you out. 4. When you refresh pvp opponents in pvp arena you get the a lot of the same opponents as you previously had and refreshing opponents cost you energy so it ends up being a waste of energy. 5. Customer support is nonexistent they don’t answer your tickets and they never respond to you on Twitter when you ask a question. 6. I haven’t seen any new content since I started playing the game so there really is no point in trying to get new characters and level them up because there is nothing for you to play once you finish campaign mode besides pvp and that’s the worst part of the game. Overall this game just gets boring pretty fast.

All around long grind to a chance to better characters & now you lost a dedicated DC Comics fan. I find it ridiculous that there are very little times for characters that you want to upgrade & use, let alone accumulate enough in-game currency & character tokens to upgrade them, all because there are monthly character themes that all are gimmicky & unrelated to anything, not to mention that those new characters pale in comparison to Atrocitous & both Wonder Girls And the most annoying offense to this recent patch is while the Green Lantern buffs are great & he’s balanced now, the Flash is absolutely busted & broken where an enemy AI Flash can get 3 Speed Ups immediately & gain 1 Speed Up for every Speed Punch, so by the time its your first turn, your team is already dead. F-U, developers, but your Flash over-buffs are disgusting & whoever thought it was a good idea to give him those deserve to have their wages garnished!

Be willing to put in the time.. I have been playing this game everyday for almost a year and a half. Strategy games are my favorite and this one does not disappoint. Every character plays a different role, and there a numerous team combinations to play and discover. New characters are released every month along with revamping their older characters who's move sets could use some polishing up. It's exciting to play a game that's constantly evolving and adding something new. Yes, it does take some time to establish well rounded teams. You'll collecting random fragments everyday waiting to see which of you characters will be the next to rank up. The strong team you have this month, can be completely different from the one you have the next month and that's what makes it fun. I love this game and look forward to every new character and feature it brings in the future!

Finally! An app I can play without paying!. I love this game. I can collect all the characters without having to pay a dime. There are so many ways to get the best currency, and heroes constantly recirculate through the shop, meaning that a little patience will give you an awesome team. Patience being the key word. You do need patience to get up to a high level. Once you reach about level 60 five star, focus on upgrading gear and abilities. And pay attention to secondary traits. It doesn’t matter how powerful my enemy is, if I’ve slowed him down down so much he never gets to move. In the end, it comes down to tactics as much as brute force. I recommend this game for anyone who loves DC, enjoys casual tactics and can wait for better rewards.

I keep finding issues all the time. As a former qa tester, I tend to find a lot of bugs in games. This game has a lot issues that aren’t apparent at first but in time they start showing themselves. I’ve reinstalled this game 3 times and I have yet to hear any audio come from this app. No music or sound effects. Customer support didn’t really support they just said sorry. There’s a lot of connectivity issues so don’t use in-game currency or real currency while the servers are acting up or you lose those points and don’t receive your item. Don’t do a free void scan or use a lantern for a void scan or you won’t receive your item and you lose that scan, again, while servers are acting up otherwise everything works as it should. The game freezes, rarely, but in some instances I have defeated every opponent and the victory prompt never appears.

Would love to love this. For some reason this is just iPhone, but there almost no free gem offers that let you play another mobile game to complete. I’ve checked with my cousins who are also very involved with this game that have android/google phones and they have plenty of offers to complete a requirement in another mobile game for free gems. Also the GLITCHES that come after every. Single. Raid. Event. This time I can’t collect pvp rewards and makes me restart the app every time I just click the message in the mail box. There are offers in the game that I do have enough gems for and it won’t give them to me which is FUN. I’ve tried contacting Dev’s through in game instruction about this and no one answers me about the free offers, but they do correct purchases which is nice. I had an issue a while ago when I did finally get a game gem offer, I completed it, but by the time I did complete it the offer refreshed on the offer wall for literally have the gem amount. And that’s all they would give me despite the offer date bbeing started for the previous amount. It’s honestly really upsetting and if I weren’t playing with my cousins for character collection at this point, I would no longer play, but I can still say this: while I love Marvel and DC equally Marvel strikeforce is 100 times better.

Fun game with major Balance issues. I have played this game every day for about a year, give or take a few months. I enjoy it for the most part. It is fun to fight with my favorite super heroes and slowly build them in strength and power. The game stands well as a free to play game. You can of course pay money to acquire things quicker, but it isn’t mandatory. And there is plenty to do without having to spend a lot of cash for time-earned energy. But in the past few months, one character, in combination with a handful of others, has been so brokenly overpowered that a team with him (Deathstroke) cannot be beaten in auto play and generally beats teams several hundred or thousand power points stronger. Ninety percent of the top ranked players are exploiting Deathstroke teams. The makers of the game have done little to fix this and have even gone so far as to delete any forum post making this complaint. I waste many PVP resources each week trying to reset my opponent list until I am not burdened with facing a half dozen of them at once. If this balance issue was fixed, I would give this game a 5 star rating.

Slow on the bug fixes. I like this game. However there are almost always a handful of conspicuous bugs in the game that are oftentimes within battles. I’ve come to accept those and be okay with them. There are other bugs that really get in the way of actually playing the game I’m not so forgiving of. Every time the game comes out with its monthly or sometimes even more frequent updates/campaigns it will tell you it’s downloading updates before you can open the game. Once you have it open, nothing will render and it will say it’s downloading updates in the lower left corner. If you try to play nothing works and it will crash. This lasts about a day where you can’t play. Today makes three times this month and it’s not even three weeks into it. That breaks out to about 85% of the time I can play and enjoy it. The rest I’m left opening it, crashing it, reloading, rinse and repeat, write review. I don’t understand how this isn’t caught during QC.

Disappointed. This game has so much potential, but there is so much that holds this game back. Everything from pay-to-win characters, matchmaking, and pvp. Characters that were released over a year ago are still not available to farm. One might get lucky and have a character available in the shop, but that is completely random. Also, there are characters that will decimate some of the most powerful characters in the DC universe. The matchmaking is horrible. It is not uncommon to be pitted against a team that has 10k power above your best team. If you want to refresh, it will cost you. The pvp has to be the worst of any of these types of games. The reset every week where if you don’t obtain a specific amount, you will be penalized or lowered. I can understand that for the higher tiers, but the lower tiers... all I have to say is, I am disappointed in this game. I want to like the game, but there is such a pay wall, it makes it difficult. If someone were to start now, from the beginning, there would be no chance.

Downloading content. Seems like this game has gotten worse as far as functionality goes over the last year. “Downloading content” banner is constantly in the lower left had corner of my screen. Sometimes it goes away, but if I go into the menu where all the purchases are located, it pops back up and the menus NEVER completely download. The runs terrible after this and I have to restart it if I want to continue to play. As far as content goes, they just did a beta testing on a new game mode. It wasn’t anything to write home about. Before that, nothing new for two years except for characters. Which are completely over priced. Speaking of characters, if you want to rank them up, you’ll grind forever or have to spend money. And you’ll need a ton of different elements I guess you could call them to rank up gear, along with different types of energy to rank up your super powers. You looking for Hope Energy? Good luck finding it. You’re better off buying. This is just one example of how they get you to spend money. Currently, the game over all is a big disappointment after spending years enjoying playing it. The only reason I log on now is to get the free item of the day. Moving forward if this game doesn’t step it up in the playability department, I’ll be walking away. Sadly.

Slow improvement. They are improving the game but doing so slowly. There is still an issue with the game dynamics where the game still gets to decide if you win or not. If you have, in some cases, vastly superior characters to the computer, then the game can sometimes choose to balance this out by keeping its own side’s turn meter completely full. This will have the effect of allowing them to face overwhelming odds by just never letting you have a turn, minimizing your ability to damage them and giving them sometimes up to 5 turns to your 1. It’s definitely stacked against you at times and was programmed to be that way. Prepare yourself going in. Also a good idea to wait until this behavior improves before thinking of spending any money with them.

Another disappointment by DC. This game is. I thing more than a paywall coach gran for DC. Literally 0 devs working on this app. The only updates include new character additions on a weekly basis and usually lack refinement or proper balancing to avoid one-siding the battles. Without even jumping into all the problems and lack of effort put into this game, you can get a great idea of how little the company cares about this game by a) noticing how even the “What’s New” context for the game is regurgitated information from months ago. The only updates to this game probably being made are continuous refining of the AI against the player and making every battle practically unappealing and stressful by setting the enemy levels to match your best teams’ levels. So you can never have leverage over the computer because they will always be better, stronger, or simply more geared than your characters. This could also explain why there’s literally no new features or improvements and regurgitated text.

Some good, some not so much. Not surprising to learn you must spend to have the game experience, growth and enjoy all the features of the game. Disappointing alliance features. Either start a new one at high cost including real $, or try to join one - which doesn’t happen. Searching for alliances to join then being ignored on requests to join them makes that process a dead end. Finally, daily play stalls quickly at times and with the only solution to continue being to upgrade, meaning to pay for improved/stronger characters. It’s a shame because the game is enjoyable if I didn’t keep running into obstacles or instances where my options are stop playing or pay more. So I’ll keep it up for a while until my patience runs out, then stop and delete it like any other app one gets tired of.

Banned for no reason(happened again). So I’ve been playing this game pretty much since it released and the other day I got banned for “unfair play” Which I can only assume means they think I was cheating somehow and I don’t really know how I would cheat but this isn’t the first time this has happened I sent an email to see what is going on and I have not gotten a reply granted it’s only been like a day since I sent the email.... the point is if you are banning someone you should at least email the person and let them know what exactly it is you think they did in order to warrant a ban. I’m sorry I probably sound like I am just ranting but there’s 3 days of daily logins is missing as well as not being able to help my clan out for the weekly rewards. If anyone actually reads this I hope they can reach out to me and actually help me out here.

I love this Game! Buuut…. This game is freaking rad. My favorite game on mobile. However I’m having this weird issue, where I go onto the community center, and whenever I click on any of the articles the game makes a static sound then the game crashes. It’s really annoying because I like to look at the articles and use some of the info for myself. I’m hoping that maybe I can get a response to my issue through writing this review. I’ve made sure both the game and my IPhone are both up to date, so I’m really not sure what the issue is. Other than this issue, even with it, this game is my favorite mobile, and DC based game.

My favorite game once... now.... This game is absolutely one of my favorite games for the last 6 months (which is when I found out about it). It’s a fantastically designed game with a variety of in game play options and a variety of characters. However... with a great sigh... after you get to a “moderate” level in the game (read as 3-4/ 5 stars on your characters) it becomes impossible to advance without paying money it appears. I was once able to complete the daily challenge with ease to start. Then it became more difficult (which I liked) as your characters developed. However now it is impossible to complete the daily/“Red” challenges or the PvP challenges now that I am at the 4 star level. Against opponents that rank 1k less of hit points I get demolished. The game changes drastically when you get to this level and is no longer fun. Needs a complete overhaul for this level of play - even against the sim opponents.

Greed Ruins Everything. This was really fun last year (2017). But as time went on I slowly realized they were worried less about things that made the game fun and more about getting your money out of your pocket. Now it seems like they release a new character every month. All the new characters have been pumped up to where when highly upgraded they are essentially one man armies. Powerful enough to convince you to buy the packs to upgrade them. Until the next month comes and a new one man army comes out that is the kryptonite to the character you just bought. It takes too long to upgrade one character before they release another one it becomes overwhelming. The bugs in-game are coming from mechanics that are day 1 release. Ex: Red Alert battles, there is still a bug that prevents you from winning, you HAVE to exit the game to keep playing. When you do, it kills all your characters you used in the battle. So bottom line, greed ruins everything.

I feel like a game this old should be more polished. It’s generally fun, but when you start getting into the PVP arena and some other areas, there is some really bad stuff going on. Your opponents are grey, so good luck trying to figure out who to attack first, especially if your going up against multiple green lanterns. This removes the players ability to formulate a good strategy. I’m sure there is a reason for this but there should definitely be a preference to fight opponents in color instead of grey blobs. Also if you win 10 matches In the arena you get a bonus, cool right? Well not if there is an opponent you can’t beat, which will happen. There is a button to refresh opponents so you would think you would get 10 new opponents, but you don’t. I have refreshed 4 times and the same guy I couldn’t beat is on every list. I.

Good game with some minor flaws. When I first started this game I had a really good time. Most off the mechanics are good and the idea of being able to play as many of my favorite dc characters helped me really enjoy the game. However the major problem for me is leveling up characters and getting new ones. I applaud this game for trying out a new way to level up characters but I think the traditional leveling system in games is much better. The problem with this games leveling system is characters don't level up when you fight. This leaves a problem in the game that haunts your progress. You need items received after beating a level to upgrade your characters so if you get stuck on a level you are stuck playing heroic mode to get more and you can't get new characters to change your battle strategy. In the end this is my only major complaint and one that I don't think will be changed at this point in the game. The only other problem I have is when fighting you can let the a.i. Take over for you but the a.i. Often works terribly, I've had battles where I was 200 points above my enemies level and they utterly demolished me no matter how I set up my team. In the end I think this is a good game with some problems but still entertaining enough to play for a long time.

The Red alerts are broken. This game is fun, I have a good time with it trying to grind my favorite characters. But one thing has my cursing at my screen every time it happens and that is when the red alerts glitch, they knock out my top characters and I am unable to go any further because my other characters aren’t up to par. This happens way too often, usually every one or two days. There have been times when I won and it froze and I reset my game and my characters are knocked out, times when I spawn in and it doesn’t show my shields or overheals and I can’t use any abilities or retreat, and this happens way too often then it should, so WB PLEASE FIX THIS!!! I can’t be the only person experiencing this.

Love this game…but bugs are annoying. I’m a new player and I can say I love this game so far. Almost everything about it has kept my attention and kept me engaged, especially the red alerts game mode. Really player friendly, getting fragments for characters constantly. Only two notes, I don’t know if other players are having this problem, but my game keeps glitching out once I get to the final battle in the Physical Showcase II event and won’t let me complete it so i can’t move forward which is SUPER annoying when it comes around. Also, it’s slightly annoying that like 90% of the games available characters are unavailable at any given time. Wish there was a way to farm (or even buy) certain character fragments to upgrade stars or at least acquire them, trust me there are at least a few characters I’d spend some MONEY on. Overall tho, really a fantastic game that I will continue to play for a long time

Can I play?. While having the selection that makes the animations move quicker selected, apparently that means my characters can attack whenever they want. The auto is not selected and I will have just picked a move for the character to make the previous turn then next turn they just pick what and who to attack at random. I know it sounds petty but these random attacks hurt because it could target the wrong enemy and instead of attacking the weak enemy I’ve been manually attacking, the auto attack that triggers for no reason will attack an enemy with full health while the weak guy gets to hit me with an additional attack where as I would have him destroyed without these random automatic attacks. Idk what it is because it’ll let me select which attack and who to attack the very next series then at random it’ll attack again sporadically. Fix this crap. Outside that the game is great.

Game Has Completely Gone Downhill. Loved when this game first came out even though it was obviouzly pay to win. I as there pretty much from the beginning. Now it’s bugs galore. The “free” bonuses often do not work. The game must have some net coding issues because at times is slows to a crawl. The biggest issue of resent was the raid that was totally screwed up. No staff were there to address it. So submitting a support ticket also got you nowhere. I paid $10 total for resource packs. Because the raid didn’t work some of my resources were useless. I was far from the only one. Support is just blowing those effected off. Now I have to go through Apple because WB never fulfilled its promise on delivering a product (raid). WB also has not developed anything significant in game for the last 4 years. I would suggest not investing your time or money in this.

Dc legends. Being a super hero nerd I’m glad to see a dc game obviously and that’s why I gave it a 3… but now for the bad I personally feel that this game is so hard to level up and find gear. You run out of energy so quick and the gear is hard to find in general so by the time you find it your out of energy anyways. You gain levels like crazy but can’t even fight enough to get caught up with level ups which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but it would be nice to get more level up points. And it’s so difficult to get characters in my opinion mind you I have only played this game for 2 weeks now so maybe I’m not fully finding/understanding the game. Also I might be bias do to playing marvel strike force and I feel that marvel strike force is 1000 times better. But I do enjoy this game as well but it does have some flaws (as do all games) that I don’t like. But I will continue to play this game because it is a dc super hero game I’m just more excited to play strike force over this game.

Needs a ton of work. It feels like this game is half-baked, and still needs more time in the oven. Matches/battles take way too long, and it’s super easy to get stuck in progression, for what feels like no particular reason than to frustrate you into shelling out money, which is not a good way to get someone to spend money on things. Compared to other games in its realm, DC Legends falls short. That one game with laser swords has much more balance, and at least the developers are usually working on improvements and additions. I don’t even bother with R.E.D. alerts because even one battle feels like too much, everything feels so imbalanced. The Joker rework felt like a middle finger to me. I am less and less a fan, and feel like I’ve literally hit a paywall now that I can’t buy my way over... and I’m not even near max level or finished with campaign.

Deathstroke is to powerful. I don’t like how strong Deathstroke is, he’s immune to everything I feel with these games there should be some type of balance but there’s not. The vast majority of people that have high ranks there main character is Deathstroke so if you want to be strong you would need Deathstroke. My rating is higher then the opposing team I have 3 characters that outclass Deathstroke and some how he’s taking them all out. If you going to have a person that powerful then it should be Superman or he should have a immune ability which I have not yet seen on him. Do not like how strong or powerful Deathstroke is, your rating would have to be very high to beat Deathstroke and he just so happens have a move that takes all your energy, if that move comes out be prepared to lose all your energy, I don’t find it to fair. Overall I like the game just don’t like how Deathstroke seem to be the most powerful character. There shouldn’t be just 1 powerful character there has to be balance.

Seems good. You get to level 50 or more then, if you don’t spend your hard earned cash, you’re done. If the campaign you hit a character who aces your entire team and you can’t take them out in the first few rounds. In PvP, there’s always one person you can’t beat, unless you spend a pint recycle the teams, which sets you back to no wins. That works for about 10 rounds the. You have reset again, and you can’t wait it out. You have to spend the energy to reset which drops you to zero. I have 9 wins, and I am up against a person named Crispy, who, although at level 50 (I am at 53), has three or four 5 star legendary characters who are invulnerable for the majority of the battle: everyone else in the list was level 38 or so. You have to take out Superman in the first 2 attacks, which isn’t possible. I wouldn’t play this. It’s fun while it lasts, but it’s not here for you. It’s only here for WB and whoever has cash to throw away on a pay-to-play video game.

Horrible Customer Support. This game has horrible customer support. A bug in their game made me lose my high level account and due to the lack of any account recovery in this game I had to reach out to support. Even though I could prove the account was mine, with information and purchase records. Their support refused to give my account back to me even after acknowledging all the information I have was accurate and offered pitiful compensation as a deterrent to getting my actual account back. After I demanded a refund for purchase on an account they would not let me have back the support employee closed the ticket without a proper answer. Don’t expect any help from this company if you have issues with the game that aren’t basic issues. And what game doesn’t have account recovery in the modern era, ridiculous.

Love game but shop needs work. I played the game a while back and deleted due to the in game purchases getting too high and seeming like only way to really compete as ran out of energy/gems, etc. I reinstalled due to s friend telling me it had gotten better. So far it does seem easier to progress and compete but I am only back to level 25 so far. The late game is the struggle as you level up less often and the in game purchases were way too high for the amount gems you accumulate. My suggestion would be to add a pvp mode where you can acquire gems to use in shop. Other than this great game to play over time and definitely keeps you returning to play!

Don't like the PVP trophy system. PVP was a lot easier in the previous update but now there's dumb stars. If you get 1 star you get less then the previous update ones now. You lose one star per character that's knocked out. Pretty disappointed about it.

ITS SO FUN OMG. I just started playing this game and it’s super fun all your favourite dc characters are 100% there the only downgrade is that there are sometimes a lil bugs

Fun but limited character access. Fun to be a play but you don’t get access to many characters like Marvel Strikeforce or Star Wars. At least in those two similar games you get a chance to play different characters even before owning them. Haven’t had a new character in 3 weeks now and I play daily. The opponents aren’t in colour either so you don’t get to enjoy a full cinematic combat experience.

Great but new bug with latest version?. Pretty cool but you do the same thing a lot which is fine some times. Updated to latest version today and on 2 occasions in 2 different modes (PVP and RED alerts) a attack was done that targets the whole team and in one move, 3 team mates lost like an insane amount of health in one hit, like over 95% of health lost in the first few turns. Broken.

Rip off. Game was working great now it don’t work at all I load up and do anything and it just loads forever so I can’t play it at all no update nothing lucky I was going to buy stuff from the store but if they can’t get me a game that works they not having my money

Fun game but greedy devs. The game is fun but heavily rigged towards Pay to Play. It’s not even something small like $1 here or there. You need to spend at least $100 per month to stay competitive, which negates any need for strategy or team building. Constant disappointment from what started with such great potential.

Pretty Good for a Tactical Squad Game. Pretty much your standard tactical squad game. The interface can be a little clunky and allows, unlike Marvel Str I need Force which has smooth transitions. There needs to be more options to buy items from the store using various in-game currencies, and drop rates for character upgrades needs to be increased for those of us who don't do in-game purchases. I do like that you can setup multiple teams.

Needs Work but a Great Game Overall. Flaws are to be expected in every game but with this one the developers always try their best to remedy them. From apologising to giving out in game credits. They go above and beyond in making this game great and infact it is great.

Worst connection I’ve seen in a game. I have now lost count. The amount of times I’ve missed out on collecting rewards. Using essence or trying to get into times exclusivities due to this games connectivity. It really is a joke. Constantly closing and trying to reopen. Setting phone to airplane mode turning on wifi and turning it off again nothing works. This app is just terrible. When you can get in the game is repetitive and the best characters are locked behind a paywall. So I hope you brought your wallets. The new feature of changing skins is only for this if us who have our $$ to get hero tokens oh and the best at pvp are the ones with bigger wallets. So get ready to constantly see your team being beaten.

Cool Game. Wanna play real time fights involving superheroes? Go for DC Legends! Great graphics, accurate renders of each dc superhero, awesome gameplay and realistic as a whole. Although I would prefer to see facial expressions in the characters, especially during combat Still, that doesn’t mean I should score low on this game! Good game but.... This game is your standard team based strategic battle game, and if you like those kind of games, then this is a great one to play. However, DC should really add the Watchmen for fans like myself who would love to play as their favourite Watchmen characters. (Even though they are not from the same universe)

Design and skins update (please). I love games like this. Choosing your favourite characters to put together, built with chemistry, gear and strength but one thing that will always matter most to me is the effort put into the design/skin of the game and the graphics. The game is dull and not motivating to play, the animations are very basic and really don’t make me want to play the game much. I play heavily in games such as Star Wars Galaxy Of Heroes and Marvel Strike Force and the design of those games have had much more effort put into them and motivate me to come back to the game every single day. DC is built with my favourite characters, please please update the game.

Waste of time by now. The game was awesome, but couple of months back something changed. Everyday the connection is very poor, downloading data all the times, loosing connection. Half of the missions not loading. If I’m lucky to start any battle, I beaten up in no time, all opposite team far far over my level. (Even if their power is lower than my team, I have no chance) Absolute frustrating, games deleted. If you not started the game yet, do not waste your time with it, looking for something else.

Fun game. This is really fun but I think the story can be a bit better

Freezing on loading screen. Ive been playing this game for years and spent so much money on it. Now I can’t even get into the game on both my iphone and ipad, it gets stuck on the “downloading content” on the loading screen, it never reaches past 85%. I’ve tried all troubleshooting and customer service isn’t helping at all, besides getting the “have you tried this”. Just fix the game or have someone reply to me with a more useful answer. I get it games crash and bugs appear, can you just acknowledge this is a thing for some people and you’re working on it?

No access to game. Been playing for years and now I can’t even get in to it! Been stuck on the loading content page for a month now!!!

Boring and expensive. The animations are lazy and lack any real thought. Who ever come up with the story needs to read more comics or even a book it’s so disappointing. You need shards to unlock characters which is fine but if you want to buy them it’s going to cost you any between 25 to 60 dollars a character you can buy a triple a game on steam for that price. The only 2 good things are it free to download and it runs smoothly other them that it’s got nothing on the marvel titles which is a shame I love the dc universe

Please help game developers I’ve got a situation. My cousin is so upset 😭 he spent hundreds of dollars on this game and it won’t let him back in he’s deviated all the time and money wasted and he loved the game so much. Is there a way to contact the game developers to get this problem resolved please I feel so bad I wish I could help him. The game is amazing. My whole giant family plays it everyday and their friends. Please help!

Fun game, but needs to stop punishing the player. The game overall is good fun, though the constant grind to build up characters can get old fast. My biggest issue is with the daily R.E.D. Alerts part of the game. For those who don’t know you fight through a selection of 12 teams in any order (which is great) and get better rewards the further you get. Problem is that if the game crashes, your device dies, or the game resets itself (E.g. the game resets if you reply to a message, or briefly use another app), you go back in and you are punished by losing your team as though they were defeated and the enemy is restored at full strength. Doesn’t matter if you had the victory screen for that battle either, as I did last night when I had to quickly attend to my unwell child. And before anyone thinks I should have waited until I was clear, these victory screens can take up to 30 seconds to go through all the nonsense and allow you access again. They need to stop punishing the player for this, especially when crashes are caused by a fault in the game outside the player control. Yes, people could exploit it and force quit to save their team from defeat, but most won’t because they don’t have the time for faffing about on loading screens over and over. Hell, other games (Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes for example) allow you to retreat and try again with the same team in the same sort of mode, so why can’t this game?

Can’t load app. The app doesn’t load. Saying it is having trouble downloading important information then shuts down and freezes upon second try. Am no into my 3rd phone and same issues on all 3

Pretty fun, but some tweaks?. Generally, I find this game pretty entertaining, though it can get repetitive when you are essentially waiting for your characters to level up and defeat a level. At least once a month, my app goes weird and won't download anything, meaning I can still collect essence, but can't complete any missions or levels. The screens that would show levels are black, leaving no where to click. This makes it frustrating as I'm unable to complete physical showcase, mystical archive and other levels/events. This game is fun, especially when raid events occur, I just want to enjoy them rather than look at a blank screen...

Cool game but no sound?. Loving the game, it does DC characters justice however I never have sound when I play

Wow but. It’s A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. You unlock new hero’s and on top of it they are so powerful and challenging. Honestly I love this gammmmmmmeeeeeee. But the connection is the problem it says your WiFi is not working when it is.

P2W. This game is extremely pay to win and the pvp is the worst I’ve played in any game. Shame coz this game has potential. Every time you rank up and get somewhere, you get put back down 700 places which means you gotta keep paying to go further. Star Wars game which is basically the same has a better pvp.

Issue. I am still having issue where I keep getting pop up message when I try to play the game "we are unable to download important data..." I've tried everything from the troubleshoot via FAQ and yet game still has same issue Please urgently fix this as I've spend a lot time and money on this game

Could be a good game, but it is not. The game have some indestructible characters, whom if you don’t posses (and believe me, you won’t) the game is just a pain. There is 2 game modes. You play against teams who are 30-40% stronger than you. You loose. Other model, you finally find a team which is on your level or 30% weaker, BUT they have the indestructible character, so you loose again.

Unplayable. As I continue playing this game, constant ‘Download Error’ left, right and center. Downloading Content freezes the game entirely, especially on the loading screen. As I try to fix all of these problems, it cannot be fix what so ever.

Not happy!. Just updated to the latest version but now won’t let me play it.

Won’t load. I’ve been playing this game for a few years and now it will not load. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled a few times, locks up and won’t load every time... many many many times! I’m completely over trying.

This awesome game just appeared out of nowhere!. I used to play super starfish and some other games but they just got boring. And then this lovely game appeared out of nowhere and is just awesome you can see different characters from DC comics like killer frost and lex Luther and battle with your favourite DC comics hero or villain!

Its sad to see. As a DC fan, its sad to see Marvel do everything better. Even when it comes down to a mobile game, DC still manages to make a bad version of Marvel Strike force. From the UI, the graphics, the transitions, animations, heck even the gameplay - theyre all terrible when you compare them to marvel strike force. Come on DC, do better! WOW. Every 5 minutes it asks for more room

Not fun, not rewarding; false advertising. This is similar to Injustice Mobile 2, which also features DC Characters, except it's turn-based battles instead of real-time, 2D instead of 3D, and has worse graphics. The app icon features movie-version Wonder Woman front and centre, but it looks like you need to do a lot of busy work and grinding for a few weeks before you get the chance to perhaps obtain the currently super-popular character. In the meantime, you get to spend time playing as and upgrading less popular characters like Bane and Sinestro. Why can't we play as Wonder Woman or our favourite characters? If we need to do this much busy work and grinding before we get the reward we want (i.e., not random, unpopular DC characters) in weeks-long delayed gratification, then we might as well do some real-life chores. Also, the story is a lot of excessive text that is tl;dr and reads more like a justification for busy work instead of an engaging, emotional story. At least in Injustice Mobile 2, the story is in the form of visually appealing cut scenes that you watch and hear instead of reading and clicking through.

Fun game but adds are broken. You can watch adds every day to get bonus rewards. Don’t waste your time. Not only have I repeatedly clicked the button, and watched the adds, but when I don’t get the rewards and I contact customer service, they basically said they can’t help me, and don’t submit another ticket for the same issue. FIX YOUR GAME. If the rewards aren’t working when watching the adds, remove the button that says we can.

Crashed since last update. I normally never right reviews good or bad but now I’m kind of feed up and nobody is giving answers. The games as been down, for IOS users, since June 22nd. Pathetic. Overpriced shop, stacked cpu, erratic turn, system. Can barley even progress through the story mode whether because of the small amount of energy they give you or just the fact that you play a few matches and then the next enemy is three times your teams score honestly it really sucks that dc makes a game like this completely broken and just so obviously a money grab and pissing contest with marvel (marvels winning btw) even buying something with the game currency is a robbery it’s a shame really so many great characters and so much potential if the makers cared about our gaming experience but unfortunately they don’t and your better of sticking to strike force , future fight, and contest of champions by marvel. One of the only redeeming qualities of this game was red alerts which were fun but challenging now they are just stacked and give you almost no chance for completion ra missions . PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Don’t make any in game purchases for this game you need to spend 100 dollars to actually get enough in game currency to do any. This game is a waste of time and definitely your money, especially your money!!!!!!

I’m A Fan. This game is really fun. Great graphics, cool music, and all the iconic characters from DC. There are all kinds of ways to play (my favourite is The RED Alerts) I would rate this five stars, but it needs strong internet and crashes a lot if you don’t have the speed

Inappropriate ads. While the game is ok, often lately the ads are NOT! For a game that is advertised with an age rating of 9+, there should not be ads featuring games with NSFW content (latest offender is Kingsthrone game of lust). Gross

Crashes constantly. It was a fun game, but now the game is more unstable than the Joker on a sugar high. Followed to recommendations on the support FAQ, and there has been no improvement. Really hoping the stability improves soon, because otherwise this would be a 4 star rating.

Fix the characters. Man the game is great but can you guys fix the characters seriously, I’ve had one match on auto play for 2 hours and 17 mins so far, my Wonder Woman is a level 45, raven 42, dove 40 and star fire 43 and I’m fighting a level 30 green lantern and somehow can’t beat him because all he does is use his Shield and it somehow gives him 50% of his shield it’s the same problem with bane and his mending

Replacement for Marvel’s old Facebook game. I missed playing Marvel Avengers Alliance and just found this one. It’s definitely the same play style and a pretty good replacement so far.

Fun but..... Fun and polished for a mobile game. But as always a ridiculous cash cow. Also the devs are full on roll out of characters with absolutely no game improvements or innovations the 3 plus years I’ve been playing. It’s unreal how much they don’t care about their player base and how much they milk the dc brand.

Fun game but lacks content. I have been playing this game for over two years and the more content coming soon for the story line has been there since I started. The game is also becoming ramped with Hackers and the developers have not yet stepped up to the plate to fix it. Their only new content are new characters which in most cases people spend a lot of money on to get.

Goes out of sync tooooo much. This game goes out of sync way too much and it only gets worse when the raid boss fights happen. This of course is to make sure you can’t get items to level up I’m thinking. It’s complete bull ! The raid boss battles come around once every 3 months or so and then this happens. You have to use energy that gets lost cause they don’t give it back even though it’s the crappy game developers fault it constantly goes out of sync. This morning it went out of sync 12 times in 20 minutes. Had to restart it every time. And of course it’s during the raid boss time. I like being able to play with the dc characters but thi game needs to fix this problem

Good game. I would recommend this game to anyone, it takes awhile to get characters but in the end if ya stick to it you can get them, you just have to keep with it and eventually you’ll get them like I said I’ve gotten a few characters beside the start of the game when you get the Main characters in the game you can reply levels to level up and get more equipment and thing you need to upgrade not bad of a game tbh if ya ask me

Close but no cigar.. Pros - There’s PVP, hero/villain collecting, the characters keep up with modern ones in the comics and movies and the detail is easy on the eyes. Cons - Cash grab and way too frickin’ difficult. Often, the daily missions require you do something you simply can’t do because, even with 30 characters unlocked, all but maybe one aren’t usable. That aside, they have an “easy” and “difficult” choice for certain events that even at level 45 is impossible to do on “easy.” For all my effort, I’m stuck at mediocre. That’s a good reason for me to simply not play the game. There’s a lot of potential, but they aren’t there yet. A for effort, F for execution, 3 Stars.

Unstable. This WAS my favorite game. Excellent gameplay, strategy, and the developers were generous with character shards and in game currency. It has gone from occasionally crashing to always crashing. I can’t get through a match anymore. The bug appears to be when the app is making multiple calculations or downloads. I have sent several specific details about how and when it happens with no response. If the creators bothered to ask I would have been more than happy to log and share the crashes with them because I loved it so much. Moving on to Star Wars because it is similar in game play but never crashes.

It was fun but a money pit. I’ve been playing this game for about 3 years it is entertaining and a great time killer. I don’t like the fact that I have characters that I can’t rank up because either the fragments aren’t available or you have to spend $50-$150+ to rank up characters. I have characters that have been at the same rank for over a year. The rewards can be way better as they provide very little of them. Their customer service support is trash. I have better rewards and character rank up playing my marvel game.

I like it!. Similar to other games (like the now-departed Avengers Alliance games), but this game's nice with its variety of opponents and player characters, and the variety of things to do. I'd like to see more characters show up, drawing from the CW shows and CN animations. One big drawback is how the game manhandles my phone's battery. Even though it seems to be an iPhone issue, I wish something could be done to fix that. Also, it'd be great if there was a browser version of the app so I could still play and not clobber my phone battery.

Fun game but.... I literally have a great time playing this game. Great bonding for my husband and I. However....When there is an update due these people are like terrorists. They force you to do an update before you can play the app again. Sometimes I’m in a place where I can’t update it for several days and then I lose my login bonuses 😡😡😡😡 very aggravating. I wish you guys would let us know about an update but not FORCE us to update or else. I think you should Compensate us for the bonuses we lose during your update terrorism!

Senseless changes. Game was fun, sort of, became a bunch of grinding, but not bad as a time waster every now and then. However, I spent a lot of time trying to grind Dr. Fate (and a few $), who was next to impossible. Over time I did it. He had great powers, but was in no way OP. So for no reason, they nerf him to useless powers just to screw you. If you think I’ll just say, ‘Oh well’ and move on, think again. That was one of those moves (designed to try and get you to spend some $ to chase another pipe dream character so they can screw you by nerfing it) that turned me off from the game. The old axiom that it’s six times harder to regain a customer than keep him.....it’s true. Good luck if you choose to play. Just be FTP, and don’t be surprised when they screw you randomly. Don’t support these hacks.

One of the better ones. I like this game, I have played other games that seems to be much more greedy (see Marvel). I feel this game has the right balance of difficulty unlocking new characters and leveling them up. I like the campaign and passive PvP part, they could uses a team-up section. Maybe mission that utilizes certain characters like in the comic. Joker and Harley, or Batman and Robin, or plenty of others. I feel this game could use just a little more. But overall I’m pleased to have been playing this for over a year now.

Good game. While the game itself is fun, there is a huge problem with gamers who have modded the game to cheat. They seem to be centered on the Blonde Wonder Girl and Deadshot characters being modded. (Apparently there was a website that hacked into the game and could alter conditions in the game.) The dead giveaway that a player has modded their game is how they have a power score less than your own but they get significantly more turns to attack than you and despite the power difference their attacks blow through your defenses. You can have a 4900 pt Etrigan completely overhealed and one shot from a rope attack by Blonde Wonder Girl with a power level of 1000 will kill him. It’s ruining an otherwise fun game, and the Game company running the servers are having a hard time dealing with it. Their method of reporting cheating is not user friendly, and

Could have been good... but it’s not. While as a strategy rpg this game is on par with most others, it fails in pretty much every other way. First, it is extremely pay-to-win, and nothing in the store is cheap, so if you want to do well get ready to fork over a ton of money. Second, the drop rates are atrocious, and for the special hero events the drop rate is 0-X which means, you guessed it, you get 0 shards 90% of the time. Third, you run out of energy super fast and there is no simple way to get more, without paying of course, so making progress is extremely slow. Fourth, the customer support is awful. They won’t help you with anything, and they aren’t even very nice about it. Unless you are a rich DC and/or rpg fanatic then give this game a hard pass.

Great game with 1 issue. GREAT GAME! One of the few games I play every day. But I have to take 1 star away for one issue. Game play experience can be improved with one small change. Please ADD A VOLUME CONTROL to the game sounds, and KEEP THE SOUND SETTINGS! Currently the game defaults to lowering the volume on any music playing, which makes the game sounds overpower the music. I have to turn off the game sounds completely, just so I can hear my music while I ride the train. But then every time my game play is interrupted, it turns the sound back on! This is really annoying me. Please don’t make me choose between playing the game or my music. I want to do both!!

Trying to join a alliance. I love this game. The one prob I have is they went it come to finding a alliance there a no recommend ones. So you basically have to think of a name someone would use for alliance and search it. Then if by chance one comes up you can’t see the alliance members. So can see if the last time a member was active was yesterday or 2 years ago. I have been playing this game for prob a month now and have to find a alliance. So I basically can’t have access to about 15 characters. The people who run this games either need to make a function where someone is recommended to active alliances or the start deleting ones that haven’t aren’t active

Main Story. We need more main story, I strongly feel as a avid Dc fan there are just to many storylines to derive from. For this game to really mature and prosper it needs more exciting stories to go off. The events are fun and interesting, especially when it’s a character you like. The PVP is great with prizes, getting to fight others, getting to test your strength. The bios are informative as well as art style for the game. We could have more characters due to there being a plethora from the multiverse, but it’s ok well get there. It’s gonna be great to see how the game grows and the roster.

Ideas. I think if you could, have 1 new character a week and have it as an event and then have 1 for the arena for the month. Anywho, I would love to see Dr. Phosphorus and Killer Moth added the most, they are the best characters in DC in my opinion. Otherwise add Anarky, Mad Hatter, Zsasz, Firefly, Spellbinder, Mr. Mxyzptlk, Cicada, Godspeed, Zoom, Thinker, Ragdoll, Condiment King, Calendar Man, Professor Pyg, Polka Dot Man, Weather Wizard, Golden Glider, Trickster, Rainbow Raider, Maxie Zeus, Toyman, Ragdoll, Joker King, Cluemaster, Jane Doe, King Tut, original Joker Red Hood, Dr. Sivana, Mister Mind, Monsieur Mallah and the Brain, Tarpit, Turtle, Top, Magenta, and Bloodwork. This game is amazing!!

Non existent tech support. For the better part of he time I’ve had his app it hasn’t been a terrible experience UNTIL something happens. For a better part of going on two weeks invent been able to do anything but collect 3 of my daily rewards and the daily login bonus. I’ve put tickets in for each day as I have been screwed out of 1 character and I’ll lose ability to eat another promoted to three stars. Their tech “support” team, frankly, FAILS to help unless you spend more than 500$ a year on game. I haven’t spent that much, but I have spent money. I’m jus to the conclusion, they don’t care. Sad.

Why did you restart my game. I have been playing the game everyday for months and as soon as I downloaded another game you have cleared all of my progress.. I've had spent hundreds of dollars to get to the level I was at, got every person and it's helped me deal with the fact that I'm always getting limbs cut off. Some characters are overpowered. Great game, fun to play and love the events. Some characters are absolutely overpowered though. Bane’s healing factor makes it seem like you have to fight a team of 6-7 vs a team of 4. I just lost a battle that he was in because he had hardly any red health and went to a full green health bar plus some purple health as well. For a non-legendary level, it’s ridiculous. Another overpowered hero is Deathstroke. You have Superman who takes forever to get and is really weak when it comes down to it, yet you have Deathstroke who stays immune for what seems like the entire match, while he’s one-shotting each of your characters.

Where’s a BATTLEPASS!???. I’ve been playing this game since day One I remember waiting for it to come out now I spend a ok amount of $$ on this game I love the characters but I do think they need a update which includes a battlepass you know working for the rewards but you can also pay for the premium one not only I would spend more but it would give me more of a reason to grind for but don’t get me wrong I live you guys DC LEGENDS is definitely a HIT!!

Crashes. This game has so much potential but lacks support from the devs. Playing this game on IOS 12 iPad Air has caused crashes during game play. Can’t battle raid bosses challenge can’t rank up characters during challenges. The game constantly crashes and restarts and at times doesn’t refund lost energy. There’re customer service is good because they award you losses but no compensation to gain additional characters to rank up. This issues has been going on for about a year and it seems no updates fixes the issue. This game has lost many players I’m thinking about trying Injustice 2 little to no crashes and the graphics and characters have better play. This game needs to update and fix IOS issues. I’m no longer supporting with in game purchases.

Game keeps crashing. I’ve played this game since it first came out. It was fun, entertaining and enjoyable. But recently new updates keep crashing the game. At least for me. It gets frustrating when you spend your time trying to develop characters and get credit for certain challenges only to have the game crash and take away your energy and get nothing in return. I know it takes time to fix issues and bugs and I hope when they do updates in the future it doesn’t make the game crash.

D.C. Legends. I’m 34 years old and this battle system takes me back to old school PlayStation rog’s time turn based combat and I absolutely love it you don’t have to spend money to be really good at it as long as you stay on top and at minimum do the daily missions I’ve been playing 10 months and only missing 3 characters so old gamers you will love this give it a whirl Sincerely your fan -Matt- aka drizztdourden go to casual alliances find georeio or something like that and I’ll had you to my alliance

Please read this. I’ve played this game since it’s release and can say without a doubt I would never recommend this to a friend.. the dev team not only hasn’t returned any gems or energy lost frequently in-game for over a year (numerous glitches) and have never even got an “oh,sorry” reply from them and I spend money religiously in this game monthly, then add no new way for material gathering since release but TWO separate player caps added (gear 10 to g11 and it’s new rebirth mess) and an ai system that is mind boggling favored over you in rng wise during fighting and it becomes this hole your sucked into because you love the characters and the game but it’s managed by one of the worst dev teams I’ve run across lately..they just don’t give a crap

Too many bugs. I like the game, but it needs the bug fixed when you go in to play campaign battles and have to kill the app usually twice because you can’t click on the energy button because the screen is messed up. Happens about every other time I play on my iPhone. Also, Wonder Woman Princess of Themyscira has a bug when you try to look at the picture of her and see how many shards you have. Lots of characters to choose from and Superman is a strong character as he should be. The story is okay. Simming heroic campaign battles doesn’t give credit when trying to get guild points and that is boringly tedious as well. Still trying to figure out strategies as I can’t usually get all of PvP battles complete and get the bonus shards. I like the raid boss battles. Fun addition. Would get a 4 if not for the bugs. I have kept it free to play but I will probably buy something at some point but haven’t done so yet because of the bugs.

Why I’m putting one star. really hate how u have to pay for anything decent in this game. like it took me almost 2 years to get Raven and and shes still only one star. and Starfire right now I love her but not enough to pay almost between $14-$24 for more of her shards. spent forever saving up the free ones and only got like 5 of her shards..seriously feeling like deleting this game soon. feeling like i have to pay is sad. Oh and seriously need to overhaul some of the mechanics of auto play like cyborg why would it not want to buff itself with a 100% Crit hit instead of using the skill that 90% of the time misses first makes no sense at all. I keep coming back hoping it gets better but sadly it hasn’t in my opinion. So I’m just gonna keep hoping and seeing if it does.

Fantastic game , but could be even better. First I’d like to suggest a multiplayer battle with your teammate from your alliance. I think if both me and my friend select our best 2 characters we could make a team and play together. Secondly, I have money to pay. I don’t get my characters often enough. I got Superman and Doomsday. Superman I can find shards here and there but there hasn’t been a doomsday offer in months. Also Superman needs more shards than the ones I occasionally find. Bizzaro still can’t find any after his short promo. Please incorporate a way to make these guys available for purchase more consistently

Repetitive Speech/text problem but good storyline and lots of characters. I love Dc and just found this game, but it keeps freezing with the characters on opposite sides of the screen, the speech bubbles won’t appear and all I can interact with is stuff in the background like the affinity relationship symbol. I can’t even play level 2 of the game because of it, I was able to play level 1 in the car when I had service, I don’t have service where I am but I’m connected to Wi-Fi so I have no clue why it’s not working. The storyline so far though seems amazing.

Not loading?!?!. I recently re-downloaded this game because I missed it. But on the opening load screen, when it tries to load config. settings, it says “We’ve had a small setback against evil! Prepare to resume the struggle!”. I have 13.5 of 32 GB of free space left, I have full bars & excellent WiFi. I have closed and opened the app x6 times. Deleted and downloaded x4 times. Checked my system is up to date [it being currently 12.1(it is!)]. This is an amazing game with my favorite form of turn-based combat. Something I play with friends in our own guild. I have a moderate collection of heroes, I DO NOT, want to lose. Someone please help a dude out. Thank you!

Semi fun. Pretty good game, good range of characters. Really weak animation, but that doesn’t bother me as much. I wish that the game was adjusted to be more of a joystick game, where you move your character around. Then it would be more fast paced instead of: you attack. They attack. You attack. They attack. The end. Needs a more in depth plot line with events and special levels. Try to make this like marvel future fight, but dc. I have found plenty of awesome marvel games, but I have been searching for a good dc game. I thought this would be it. I was wrong.

Don’t play, It’s a cash cow. I’m sure all you dc fans would like to get all your favorite heroes fast like I would. But it’s not happening unless you have a lot of money. The smallest set of fragments cost almost 50$. And did I mention the fragments are given at random. So 50$ worth of fragments may get you a hero you wanted the least. You would think making you spend that kind of money should at the least grant you the choice of hero. Instead we’re getting Harley Quinn when we really wanted Batman. Die hard DC fans beware.

A literal mixed bag.. Really good graphics, good, mostly balanced gameplay. Too much randomization in what tokens you get. I understand they want you to buy credits, but why would I keep paying for credits to buy random character tokens when there’s no guarantee I’ll like what I get? How much time, attention, and possibly money do they expect me to invest in characters I don’t ever want to play? If they’d let me just buy credits for specific characters they’d already have my money. As it stands it’s a long slog as I wait for the characters I give a crap about to get some attention in the shop. In the meantime, at least I’m not paying for it.

Really Great and Fun to Play. I love playing this game. It’s roster of characters is amazing and it’s always fun to mix and match different teams. However ,like every game, I wish some things were different. The level up system should be based on when each individual character completes a level and gain xp when they succeed. Also, I think that their should be a mode that allows more than 4 characters to a team. I think it would be really cool to use 7 characters in a level, just like the number of original members of the justice league. All in all, I love this game and though it’s always fun, I think it could still be better.

Almost perfect game!. I’ve been playing this game for some years now. How do you spell countless hours in quite a bit of $$. This game is extremely fun and very free to play friendly but overall complaint would be the lack of feature updates to this game and the instability of the app. I feel like the devs could definitely clean up the smoothness of the UI as well as it’s appearance. Although it is not perfect, I am invested in it and can’t wait to see where this game goes.

Not happy anymore. My game freezes up and quits talking to the server and causes me to lose matches. In red alerts I had two left today and built my players up with defense and when I started the game I couldn’t do anything. I turned on auto fight and it still wouldn’t do anything. All I could do is close out and reopen. When I did my team was dead. Couldn’t use them anymore. I tried writing and email to support but they didn’t recognize my email and I lost the email I just typed up and not to happy about wasting time doing that so I am messaging it here. Once you get to a certain point in the game it takes forever to build up characters. I guess they want you to pay to win.

Very buggy. Idea of game is good. But a lot of glitches and bugs. Had the game for a few months and just deleted it. Also poor navigation in game. The devs need to play marvel strike force and swgoh for tips on how to do things like selecting characters based on faction and being able to select characters easily from other parts in the game without having to search around to find them. You get to watch ad videos to get in game items and 1/2 the time you watch video and get nothing. Brought this to customer service and they wouldn’t give me anything, pretty much said sorry for all the wasted time and gave me nothing to make up for it.

Poor performance. Constantly have to force close the app and restart it to try and load content. Different menus seem to crash the game at times. I find myself setting my phone or tablet down for several minutes while I wait for a fight to begin or a menu to load. Also, the progression is the slowest of any game I’ve ever played. I made the mistake of taking a couple teams to level 70, and the game became nearly unplayable. PVP is just out of control, as is Red Alert. I only throw my weakest character into a red battle once a day for the daily achievement. No point in even trying beyond that. The cycle of this game is extremely rinse and repeat. They haven’t broken form in what seems to be years. Every month is the same tired routine. Nothing new but power creep characters. It’s repetitive and boring to put it kindly.

Black Manta. I’m really enjoying this game so far. Everything works just fine. My only issue is that Black Manta is not in the game and he’s one of my favorite villains if not my actual favorite. It’s ironic to me that the game features many heroes along with their partners, spouses, sidekicks, and archenemies, but doesn’t featured Black Manta. Aquaman and Mera both appear in the game so I would think that Aquaman’s arch nemesis would also appear but was instead disappointed to find that he isn’t. I would love for Black Manta to be an addition to the roster.

Love lost. Ok I used to play this game in I was hooked it was so fun to collect characters in level up so much that I started spending money in I really wanted to get wonder girl but unfortunately my phone broke in since the game does not allow you to make a account when I got my new phone I lost all my characters money wasted time gone In honestly it was heart breaking the game is very fun in I think you should give it a try but if the game developers see this can you pls add a game feature to where you can have a account you can log into from another phone thank you 😁

Cooooool gaaaame. I really love the gameplay. It’s kinda like Injustice but an RPG. I like the gameplay, the characters, and when I know that I die, it just that I have to practice a little harder. One character I really want is clayface, so if you like this review, I’ll be waiting for you to give me clayface.(I’m obviously joking, but I would like clayface😁) One more thing. Make more skins for your characters like a Zack Sndicer Darksied or Superman. Thank You for the good game. Happy gaming👍.

Game might be glitching. I’ve tried many times but when I first got the game it was going fine but I didn’t do much in the game and don’t have a lot of progress on it but now every time I get on, it has a hand pointing to hero’s and that’s the only thing it lets me click on but when I click on it nothing else works and I can’t go back home or select one of my hero’s and the touch screen doesn’t work whenever I click on hero’s and I’ve cleaned my screen and the touch screen still won’t work but it works on all of my other games but not his one and I deleted it a buck of times then re got it and it still won’t work and I don’t now if it’s glitching.

Pay to Play/Win. The idea of using a significant amount of your favorite DC characters is always a positive. The game starts out well, but you know the pay to play/win is coming. You earn characters through fragments and must upgrade them with various items. All of these things are introduced to slow down your progression, and ultimately, try to get you to open your money bags. Like most of these games, you hit the wall and are pretty much stuck. It’s unfortunate. As far as the gameplay goes, it’s okay. Marvel Strike Force seems to be more dynamic and fluid with the combat. It’s something I wish the developers would incorporate into this game.

Mediocre, could be better.. Fix the unfairness of the AI power. Why is it that the AI gets so many more turns than I do. Forcing me to watch as they get 4 turns for my every 1-2 turns. My team is just as powerful if not more powerful, but I can’t win because you’re AI is granted so many more turns than me. Forcing me to activate my passive heal abilities which do nothing under a constant assault of debuffs and basic attacks that I cannot counter or recover from because (again) I’m not granted any turns to even try and put up a challenge. Total trash. GreT concept, but you need some better execution than this mediocrity you’ve bestowed on us.

Enjoying So Far. This game is pretty good so far. I like the amount of heroes available and the character models. The story seems to be well written and engaging. The combat system is fun, diverse enough, yet not complicated. The only gripe I have so far, and this may be isolated to my phone, but the load times for things are pretty slow for me. Takes a while for things to load in any time I change screens. Other than that, I am really enjoying it. Opened my favorite, The Emerald Archer, so I’m pretty stoked about that! thanks,

Games broken. I love this game, and I have been playing since it first came out and let me just start by saying that the campaign and challenges are amazingly fun, but the pvp arena is absolutely terrible. You start off getting matched against people you can beat if you play smart, but eventually you get to people who have a team that can one shot your best characters and your stuck. I want to love this game, but some of the characters, especially the newer ones, are so overpowered that it makes me want to throw my phone against the wall. The creators definitely need to add more balance to the pvp arena or atleast some of the characters.

The game has gone to S#!+. I have logged in every day to play this game for almost 2 years it seems . And never has this game perform so poorly as it has now . I have just got done playing in 2 PvP matches and during the matches, i got the stupid “minor set back out of sync “ message . Did i get my energy wasted back ? Nope ! I have invested money in this game and for it to have this amount of problems is unacceptable! I have played on both Wifi and LTE network. If developers want to reach out for solutions to this problem, I’m more than happy to suggestions .

Best game ever. It is one of the best mobile game I have ever gotten and I have downloaded lots of games. You can make many teams like Flash with kid flash, Green arrow and super girl. (The reason I mention these are because I love the crossovers between them in the shows!) Also you can train them and try to become the best player there is! They have different versions of a hero and can rank up your heroes and unlock more. It is a great game and you should download it too!

Game is always in download. Game is almost always in download mode. Almost always see black screens saying downloading content. So I go to other games and play for awhile and come back to see if it wants to work 50 - 50 shot most of the time most of people I know have given up on the game because of the issue. Seems like programmers haven’t even bothered to try and fix or the blame it on something else. It’s the game that’s the issue no other games on my iPad have this issue and run way higher graphics and content. Aug. 6,2019 about 3 days into new hero challenge and content still loading on iPhone and iPad as I’ve stated above no other game as this issue and nothing is getting done how does this app get above 1 star?

Weak enemies keep on winning.... Why did weak enemies win? For some reason,I went to “ PVP arena” and I battled “ OQUEEN “ My power was “4,258” and her power was “3,642” I tried to battle her. But that was complicated! And that’s obvious for my enemy! I don’t know why that happened but I still had fun! I played heroic mode and I was in the Zatana level. But when I finished 2 fights. I had the last one. It was the green lantern boss fight. I battled some of the enemies but the green and black robot enemy guy was having more health! And I can’t pass that level! But this game is amazing! Nice work and I’ll play this every time! And anywhere!

Game is pretty good got some problems though. I think you should be able to just have one Batman character but be able to change the outfit for coins I think that would make more sense instead of having 3 Batman’s sitting there anyways other than that the game is pretty good there are a few glitches like sometimes it kicks me out of the app, I really enjoy the storyline and concept of the game but the music when you level up can start to bother me and also it’s annoying how you level up and you don’t have enough XP and in the new event I could only use one Batman character so it was hard

Playing from the beginning. This is probably my all time favorite game. I’ve been playing it since the beginning. I’ve given it up multiple times, due to switching phone issues, and feeling like I hit a pay wall. But the devs have added so much to this game that if you dedicate enough time and get passed that plateau you will discover a plethora of free content that will keep you playing for a long time, and excited every time new toons come.
