Account issues. I had to go up to the office a few times and have my password reset by an employee. When logging in to my account using the app I would be sent to a page to enter my SSN and my case number, after which I would be sent back to the login page. The fault app would give me a warning pop up that my account already existed? Eventually it ended up messing up my online account when using a web browser. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and web browsers but ultimately I just ended up having to go into the office to submit anything extra. Finally an employee told me she could reset it. It worked and now I’m able to use the app, which is alright, but I’m still not over the stress and inconvenience of the first week trying to deal with the broken app.

Renewal. I am having to reapply and send documents when I shouldn’t have to. I tried renewing online and a 211 person even tried helping me. It refused to let me submit multiple times. Then I called for help and it refused the 211 worker. She suggested I go to the office in my hometown. That lady gave me the wrong papers. She assured me that was all I needed and I got denied. I called and was told I had to reapply. Now my daughter is out of very important medication that I can not afford and is needing to see her psychiatrist who can’t see her without insurance. I know this isn’t everyone’s fault but I’m worried about my child and her mental health. As my youngest needs his adhd meds for school and just ran out this morning. I’m sending in the requested forms but this should never happened in the first place.

Permanent resident should deserve all benefits. We came to USA through UNHCR immigration process as permanent residency and than we have all approved of documents by USCIS. But one thing which I shocked is the TX benefits law of Medicaid is not deserved for foreign born kids. Because I have being got all federal government assistant benefits for my foreign born kid in Colorado state before I moved in TX. But here is not. I’m so depressed because I am very concerned for my kids of keeping good healthy. My kid have to go school soon without Medicaid soon. I don’t know how can I do for him because i have four family members and low income. How Can i effort for the rest of my crisis? So bad Sincerely Nathaniel Bya

Urgent problem fix. After signing in i enter info about my birthday & ssn, then it takes me to the second page where i believe there should be questions but no matter how many times i try, there arent any questions and it wont go any further. Please fix urgently Update on review: i also tried to enter in information such as my sex, and the only option was male. This app is very inefficient at the moment. I cannot fill out any information or answer any questions, therefor i cant access my case.

I can’t even get past the log in cause a glitch I’m frustrated. I have things to do, like set up my healthcare plan properly so I can go get an ultrasound for my child, which is what you guys were supposed to be offering here. What did I get? A glitch, I can’t even freaking log in to my account because after I answer my DOB and SSC I am proceeded to the next part of logging in and it says “answer these three questions, you only have one try” and yet...THERES NO QUESTIONS just a grey screen with that writing typed on the top, I closed out and re entered my information again. STILL NOTHING NEW, just the grey screen holding me back from getting my healthcare done. And worse I just got off the phone from the interview she should be calling me soon to see if I’ve uploaded my documents and when I have to tell her there is a glitch and I can’t log in, I’m sure we won’t be able to continue much of the process without it, then I will have to dip into my wallet, and spend money that a young mother looking for help with her healthcare shouldn’t be spending right now, just to get a ride all the way 30 minutes out to use the father of my child’s computer. I need this to be fixed because this affects everything in my agenda and this is supposed to help me not dig me further into my problems.

App Issue. This app has great functions and I appreciate the interface. The only issue I have is on the Lonestar card screen. It says only the main person on the account is able to see this screen... but I am. I called 211 and my EBT help card number, and they both basically said they don't know why it's saying that when I am clearly the account holder. Unfortunately they told me they can't help further because they aren't trained to know about this app. I have no idea who else to contact about this... It isn't a HUGE deal because I can just contact the phone number on my EBT card but I have to do that every time I need to check my balance instead of the easy way by just checking the app.

Blacked out screen!!!. Clearly this app is ran by the government. It doesn’t work!! I tried to create an account and as soon as I press enter my screen goes black. I thought maybe it was because my phone was hot or something so I turned my phone off and on then deleted and the redownloaded the My Texas Benefits app. No success!!! I also thought that maybe it was because I already have an account but when I put in my case number or member ID and even my SSN to no avail. I’m deeply disappointed. These apps are supposed to help us and yet cause more stress. I will try the website if that doesn’t work I’ll have to wait to go in person, which is no fun for anyone trying to get benefits.

Very bad at reviewing information I sent in multiple times. I was asked for documentation in December 2023 and January and February 2024. Although I submitted proper documentation each time it was asked for I received a letter saying that they did not get the documentation. Additionally, I called and spoke to a representative no less than four times and walked them through the documentation to show them exactly where the information was. I was also asked to provide my sons Social Security number no less than three times, which I gave to a representative over the phone. Three times. Just last week, I was asked to submit the information again, but to also attach a letter, explaining what the document was and where to find it on the document. I was also asked to circle the area where the information was on the document. It is already humbling enough asking for help- there were even a few times where the representative had a very entitled attitude and rude responses to me. It is very frustrating, as I am trying to get back on my feet, yet no one is actually reading the correct requestedin formation I submitted multiple times.

Recent Updates Have Finally Made This App Accessible. The recent update to the app is incredibly better and user-friendly than it was during the height of the pandemic. (I mention this to give the app development team an idea of which update I’m referring to because I’m not sure when it exactly the new version was rolled out. And I don’t know because it was really confusing using the app before. For security reasons, the app logged me out during long periods of unuse— which were frequent because every time I tried to use it to upload documents OR check my SNAP balance, I couldn’t do it.) However, the new interface is so much cleaner and intuitive. Right off the bat I can see my SNAP balance, freeze my card, read my documents from oldest to newest, and immediately determine which benefits are active and which are not. Honestly, the app seems a lot better than the (also updated) website. (Although the update to the website is also way better than it was before, during the height of the pandemic.) I also like that the app developers realized that the phone app NEEDED to be different from the website. The app wasn’t intuitive before because users had to navigate it, with many clicks, as if it were the website. Overall, I’m so happy with the changes made! Hopefully this helps all of us stay on top of renewal deadlines better, and our active benefits.

An old fashioned person opinion... I think it sounds better “old fashioned” than old! ;) and for whatever reason, afraid of technology, after many intents for different kind of things. Where I used to fill a paper job-application and submitted in person! I was already getting blocked when heard I need to submit a document... but this app made it so easy!! I thank you. It’s not easy to apply for benefits when I should be contributing and helping others. What is behind to be doing this, is hard to handle, and every other little thing, it looks as a huge one! Maybe I’m the only person who feels like this, maybe not. But I thank the government, this institution and each person involved, like the kind and patience lady that just helped me on the phone, (Mrs. Rose/Rosemary/Rossie?) for making this process less difficult. Can’t renew from app anymore. **you can login via the app and go to manage , it takes you to the website, but regardless it doesn't work. can no longer renew from the app, i can go through the process of opening the renewal but goes straight from first page to the last page and has error message. Been doing it for months. Had to completely reapply this last time, even though it showed competed and sent (after trying for ever to get threw the renewal process)they claim not to get it on their end which in the ends denies benefits.

Our In- Between. Recently, my husband and I both became unemployed and for the first time in a long time, even though we have always struggled financially, we didn't know what we were going to do. We decided to apply for various benefits through the Texas Benefits Program and we have been extremely blessed. It is quite comforting to know that programs like this one have been implemented so that when you're going through a hardship, an "In-Between" you don't have to feel like your life has to pause or stop moving forward. Our family, sincerely "Thanks" you for all that has been done in helping us maintain our dignity by providing accessible information online and through private phone conversations. Last, but not least we are most grateful for the kindness of the employees who have called to verify information needed for our case, who have been so polite, patient and considerate. Snap. This is a very friendly website which makes it easy on everybody when filling out their information. Also the case agents When they call are always polite and super professional which I greatly appreciate that this government agency trains their employees in a very professional way to deal with all walks of lives here in the United States of America. Update issue. Why is the app not working for a lot of people now since the new update happened I can’t log into my account that I’ve been using the same password for years it tells me to change password and I did and then keeps saying system error try agin later It’s been doing this all week now please fix this issue

Needing assistance. I have been trying to get my benefits renewed but have been denied although I have sent all requested information regarding why I’m not able to work due to my seizures disorder . My son and I have resorted to food banks and forced to eat stale bread and rotten fruit. I paid my taxes my entire life and now forced to beg my own government for help. I watch the news everyday and see immigrants come to this country and treated better than actual citizens. It’s so sad. I literally have no idea what else to do. I am currently in bankruptcy. I have to keep my faith in God since I can’t count on my own government. I’m sure this is not the first time you have heard this. I don’t expect a response. I know this review will be buried under all the rest.

Snap(TXLoneStar). An Honesty of years of experience…. Extremely difficult for even a disabled citizen with a fixed income, Medicare & Special Needs Medicaid. Turn around time for applicants is beyond long. Local offices are very unhelpful and in a hurry to rush applicants and renewal’s questions as annoying to them. Phone lines to just speak to a live person on Snap Benefits is only just getting hopeful. Contact with your case workers are not accessible as they once were. Meanwhile, you are down to high preservative foods that aren’t part of your health plan, or make a small amount of delivering just to afford better food. Only to then get quickly shot down during a LONG application process or renewal, on the the assumption that less than $85 of deliveries can support a month of your health nutrition expectations. Not taking in count, you may not always have the health or physicality to make delivery funds every week or month. Most people with minor children are the only citizens Texas Snap continuously approves…Any age of Disability (especially without children) are least likely to be included in Lone Star benefits more than $20 a month (if at all).

EBT/Medicaid. I’m so thankful for the assistance that Texas Snap Benefits has given me, with my moving back home to Port Lavaca, Tx from South Dakota in August of 2021 has not been easy. All though I wasn’t able to receive Medicaid with all my prior and existing injuries I’m thankful to put food on the table. Work is slow and I have to be careful with those injuries, so I applied for disability. Hopefully that works out. Thank you and God bless!

Convenient. Love how easy and convenient the app is to have! Uploading the files is much easier than running out to go fax needed information. This is my first time to actually file for help during this COVID19 and it’s been confusing on how to fill out the paperwork. Trial and error and patience is the key, due to the overwhelming response TWC employees experienced! My hats go off to TWC employees and everyone behind them! Thank you either way ... whether I get any help or not I appreciate y’all for your hard work!

Uploads. Your website help tab gives incorrect directions to upload files... I’ve been trying to upload files for 3 hours now... I tried my phone and two different computers... got an error message every time. Converted to PDFs, jpgs, nothing worked. I then downloaded your app and poof... files easily uploaded. Your website is the worst form of frustration!!!!!! And your cSR was unhelpful and didn’t even tell me to download the app when I described my problems after holding for an hour! ... I just read it online. Do your CSR gets no stars, your website gets no stars, and your iPhone app gets all the stars in the world!!!

Feedback/review for Your Texas Benifits app. It is great that I can do all my paperwork from my phone although at times there are technical problems and I can’t open a link and it is really frustrating when I cannot upload a file when there is a deadline and my case is due or else I will lose my benefits. You should allow a given period of extra time so that people can get their paper work all in and in a timely manner.

Great app. This app works very well. It speeds up processing claims immensely. It was once difficult to upload supporting documents on the website. Had to nail them. With this app, it allows you to photocopy the documents, review the photos and immediately upload them to your account. There are photo guides with the app that helps take clear pictures. It saves time and gives you peace of mind. You can also check the status of an application or manage your account.

First time user of this app. So I have been trying to use this app for the first time and at the beginning it wouldn’t allow me to use anything to even upload which resulted in my Benita being delayed and as a parent and being at an era where the pandemic is bad and only getting worse would suffer because they depended on their benefits but now was finally able to access it which mind you no help from Brenda a supervisor at the Texas health services I think as a supervisor at a job where yes you are gonna have people who need more help than other to access this need more training bad customer service on that department

Paperwork. I was stressing so much First I didn’t get the mail the children had put it away I knew I had to be quick with the paperwork and I’ve been stressing because I didn’t know about How to come up with nine dollars to send the paperwork in. This app was so easy for people that don’t know that much about computers like me I am very impressed hopefully I can figure out how not to use this service but the system for too long and they waited as long as I could. I believe mainly for pride but we ate very good this month and I was just so glad that I could get fresh vegetables again thank you all for your help. Love grandma in need.

Grateful. I am so happy with the services provided through this app and the wonderful warm people who have helped me through hard times that work for Texas Health and Human Resources. I have nothing but good things to say about all of the staff I have met in person and spoken with over the phone. God bless you people for what you do and the attitude you have when dealing with people in need! You are all wonderful! This app is so helpful too!

I Love ❤️ 💗 HHSC. You guys rock I love these government benefits and they go along way when they are rally needs or a must at it’s earliest convenience and it’s even like I’m able to help myself at anytime whenever my needs wants must be met and there’s no one else in my corners except you guys and God my Parents Don’t even talk to me anymore. Moms never going to help me out again and my father he is always busy

Blank screen. When I try to put my info in or even create an account, sometimes I can’t get to the bottom button for next page because the keyboard won’t let me see it so I click a random spot on the page to remove the keyboard and the whole screen goes blank white with no options to proceed so I have to go back or exit the app and try again. That was when I wasn’t aware of my login info. Now I have them and it’s the same thing. But this time when I can click o. The ‘next’ option, screen goes blank white and I’m waiting like an idiot and nothing happens. So I have to again exit the app.

Bring back phone call applying. It’s the second time I apply for benefits and I get denied because I didn’t send documents? I sent them and I even have the pictures in my gallery with the date to confirm it. I send the documents and the app says they are received only for them to NOT be sent! This happened to me for the first time in 2021 and I had to send documents FIVE times before the agent could even access them. This is horrible. I NEEDED the TANF as I lost my home. And I NEED the Medicaid for pregnant women, but according to the app malfunctioning I’m “not pregnant” even though I sent my notification of pregnancy??!! You will literally give the benefits to people who don’t even use them, they abuse them. And I ACTUALLY needed them.

App. I receive notices on the message board that I have a letter I need to read several times a year, yet when I go to letters, there is never anything there. This causes me to worry and stress over what I may be missing or failing to do. Also, I was notified on 3/26 of documents I needed to supply. I uploaded them the next day. Yesterday, 4/1, I received another notice saying I had until 4/4 to get them in. Again, what do I do? Did you not get them, do I send them again? I went through this last year. Mother was denied services despite the fact that all documents requested were received in a timely manner as verified by every person I spoke to on my numerous, time consuming but fruitless phone calls. I finally filed a grievance and things were rectified. I vowed then to do paper renewals, but those letters only arrive on Saturday and are due two days later leaving me no time to contact the businesses I need to get signatures or information for the enclosed forms. Help!!

App not user friendly. The app is not user friendly. I’m a grandparent and there is no way to apply or to discuss aspects of a ‘child only’ case. It causes confusion and appears that I am also asking for benefits for myself. Everything requires that I make a phone call in addition to using the website. Also, letters often do not come in the mail, I then receive an email about forms needed and I’m given one day to supply what is needed. Very stressful process. On the up side, once you do get to speak to a person on the phone, which can take 10-90 minutes, the staff are always very friendly and helpful.

Pathetic App. And again I'm writing another review because as much as I have reached out or wrote reviews there are no changes. I write down all my passwords to make sure I'm putting in the correct one. As usually it says the password is incorrect even though I know it's not then it tells me to change password since after 2 tries it locks you out. Every time I create a new password as it tells me to do so it again tells me there is a system error and doesn't let me change my password!! I am getting extremely frustrated with this app Everytime I try and log in it does the same thing everytime there is no one I can speak to no place I can call and tell them the problem. This app doesn't even deserve 1 star i give it a zero rating And that website they give you to tell them about the experience that they provide does NOT WORK it just sends you to the same app but in website form there is no one you can speak to. The only way I can check my benefits if I call so there is no point of this app if I can't be checking. Most useless app I have ever ran into don't even bother downloading it or stressing over it! Biggest waste of time!!!

1000% trash, I’m done. These evil people will find every little reason to cut off your food benefits. I’m tired of these people cutting off my food benefits for irrelevant and stupid reasons, I’ve done filed over 5 appeals because these demons that run the food program keeps cutting off my food benefits for stupid and irrelevant reasons, I’m done with this nonsense it’s just not even worth it, I’ll just help myself on my own. Not gonna get into too much detail but It’s some very evil and cruel that people run this program, I'm just so fed up to the point that I’m just gonna give up, (not the app, whoever run the food benefits program) you guys win because I’m done wasting my time with you idiots that run this organization no point on using this app anymore because I’m just done. (deleted/uninstalled) 🚮

My Experience.. So glad I can use the app. I don’t trust anyone in the offices. They know they have control over something people need from them. Their actions show that they don’t want to help us. They also act as if they do not need to be at the window. I recommend rotating the employees that get stationed in a specific window. I always get unneeded Attitude when I come in to ask simple questions. I love the simplicity of the app. I am specifically mentioning the office at 3411 Horal in San Antonio. Everyone except the 1 African American male at the Windows gives me problems and attitude. My 5 star rating is only for the app. Not at all the office location.

Awful Experience. When I first downloaded the app, I tried logging in with my correct credentials. The app told me I was using the wrong credentials and locked me out of my account... after only one login attempt and using correct credentials!! It was after 6:00pm on Friday on the last day I could upload requested paperwork to avoid my elderly father's benefits being cancelled! The app told me I could have my account unlocked by calling contacting the THHSC on Monday. As a result I couldn't upload anything until 3 days later, on Monday. Further, my father's benefits have been cancelled. I have to hope that the THHSC will take all this into account and reinstate my dad's necessary benefits. By the way, the photo capture utility for document image capture is frustrating to use. While capturing documents, the app crashed 3 times! Also, the app doesn't tell you there is a limit to photos you can take before sending them. It just starts giving a message that photos can't be saved at this time and to try again later. It was a very frustrating experience using this app!!!!

Mrs. Perry. I’m very satisfied with this app! I can apply, renew my benefits as well as upload photos of documents and identification needed to complete my case. I receive all my messages in the message center and I can check the status of applications I’ve started and or canceled. This is so much easier than having to go into the office and wait all day especially if you’re like me and you’re disabled. This is an extremely wonderful app that’s very helpful and easy to navigate.

Overall a good app. The app is wonderful for me to check on things cause I don’t get emails and when I do get letters when they need something I have a day to get everything they need together or my benefits will be shut off. But I’ve come across this issue of when I’m trying to upload files I had to rescan them in many times and when I try to make sure they got sent and they were the right ones it says there was an error and I need to try again later. Overall a good app very helpful, just a few bugs that I find annoying.

App is not very user friendly. When you press on menu it gives 4 options. The options really don’t let you see your recent review of your cases. It shows you, you have uploaded files, but I found that it is not uploading docs that well and a change or question only results in you having do an application from the start. I don’t find the app giving me enough info. It only tells me denied or pending. Then you wait on the 211 number for an hour only to get the wrong info or get someone that doesn’t know... The offices at my location have been closed, so you don’t get much help there either...

Cannot not get text or email messages. The update is nice but get an error when I try to sign up for paper or text notifications and I can’t receive them this has been going on for a couple years now and when you call 211 they say there is nothing they can do about it and they don’t have an it team to report it too. So I guess it’s paper for me and also my mom just had to change her number and started happening to her also. I hardly check my mail easiest and fasted is text for me and I can’t even use it. Great for uploading documents and seeing your status though.

Can’t upload files. The file upload function of the website has easily been THE single most frustrating experience with this service. There is ALWAYS a system error with no valid error ID. I downloaded the app in hopes that I could upload the requested files there, but it just directs you to the completely broken website functionality. I’ve tried on iOS, macOS, and Windows all using different browsers. The files also meet all of the requirements for uploads. Since there is a DEADLINE for uploading these files you can imagine I’m panicking a bit, especially since government benefits always take SO long to process and I really do not want to spend the time fighting it. What’s the point of this app if there is no differing functionality from the website? Even worse - there is LESS functionality.

GRATEFUL!!!!. The kind lady at the Livingston TX front office today was so VERY patient and helpful to this ‘ol “technically challenged” senior lady when explaining how to use the app on my phone and go over my benefits. I am THRILLED with the extra help that she explained I’ll be getting since I applied. I’m SO looking forward to actually being able to have a nice Thanksgiving dinner, without having to choose between groceries OR my meds and vitamins that are ESSENTIAL for my health. All I can say is THANK you from the BOTTOM of my HEART!

App does less than the website. The app will redirect you to the website to perform specific requests. What is the point of that? In general, both the website and app are hardly useful and hopelessly unintuitive, which is not the designers’ faults as much as the people who decided what the limitations of the web/app should be. Whoever that is obviously doesn’t care about giving more convenient access of social services to people. Getting an A in logic with one of the country’s personal security consultants as a prof didn’t help me navigate this site. I can only imagine what it’s like for others.

Thank you the whole group of the hill department. I’ve been doing this for years go to the office and turn my papers in the waiting line until I asked one of my friend how to create a password and she help me and explain me how to do it and I feel so happy I feel like one of those more people and if I can do this hopefully I can discover to learn to do more things with this technology is easy fast it’s like so much joy in my heart knowing that I can do this thank you health department to give us this opportunity to learn technology thank you so much

Pretty good. I frequently have issues seeing my benefits card. It says: You can't see this screen Only the main person on a Lone Star Card account can access this screen. If you're seeing this message, that means you're not the primary cardholder on this account. Not only am I the main person on the account, I’m the ONLY person on the account. Would also love it if past cases could be removed.

HELP PAYING BILLS. My Brother has been Paying while I’ve been working on Disability and unless I get some help ANY HELP!! I’ll be Out in the Street so PLEASE I’m Begging for Anything! Medical I just got out of the hospital after 3 days due to my health I’ve Applied with Parklawn Hospital for Help OVER 2 years ago and have heard Nothing from them I’m 61 years old and life is just Terrible it’s hard to keep my Head up much less Above Water so PLEASE HELP ME!!! Your office Already have documents that PROVE ! Without Tim Ratliff Paying EVERYTHING!! I may as well be Dead it’s Just that BAD !! Suicidal thoughts are coming more often because I don’t know what to do!

Inept System. First a short dated letter with an already overdue Date for submission of Documents you need immediately with the threat of Losing Your Benefits if not received by... What a joke. Then neither your Website nor App (which I just downloaded to rush these needed Docs to you!) is functioning properly so as to Accept the Docs fm my IPhone via screenshots!!! You indicate Errors_ which after a phone call (211) I am told are due to "Technical issues we are having on both the Website as well as App with accepting Files and Documents." You ppl are totally inept and should all may as well be AI robots with zero human judgement call ability.

Something’s wrong. Every time I try to log into my account, it’s freezing up, and taking longer then usual to load me in so that I can check my account. It needs to be fixed. This morning it kept saying I was entering the wrong password and I have my account set up to where my face logs me into my account and I’ve had my same password for a while a now. I changed it and it’s still not logging me. I do like the convenience of the app, but I don’t like that it’s freezing up and kicking me out.

Completely useless for voiceover users. This app was supposed to make it easier and less time-consuming to fill out paperwork upload paperwork and get things done however for people who happened to be blind and use voiceover on their iPhones it is completely useless I used to rely on this app and it was very helpful in helping me renew my benefits this time however I missed the deadline because I thought that there was something wrong with the app turns out it just doesn’t work with voiceover anymore thanks government!!!!! I know I sound a little short but it is irritating to have something work at one time and then not have it work again I’m told the app works fine for everyone else just not for anyone who happens to be Blind and using voice over I’m sorry that’s just not convenient or a timesaver or anything but crappy!!!!!! And what’s even worse, there is no tech-support so there’s not much we can do about it except for leave bad reviews!!!!!! Hope these bad reviews help fix what is wrong what I’m really hoping for is a response back from the developer this would be a great app if I could use it again.

Frustrating. Horrible experience using this app!! Or “trying” to use because I have not been able to actually make use of it as the app decided to show me a pitch black screen when entering my info! I have downloaded and deleted the app several times. I even contacted them through the email they provide for assistance with the app and they were unable to resolve my issue as a matter of fact they stopped emailing me back and never heard back from them now it’s an inconvenience as I am not able to upload any files before the due date they’ve given me it’s a shame! Get rid of this wasteful app.

It’s great but... I love the app because of the quick way to upload files to your case and you can see your case with some details. Wish you could see your EBT balance with the app and have access to notices/forms to view. Other than that I love this app for me to upload items quickly but that all I use it for. Usually finding myself on the website more than I actually use the app to view in detail items or looking for more information.

😡😩. I’m so frustrated. With trying to get current up to date information on my case during this COVID19 epidemic, I really was excited to see and download this app. However I get notifications to check the app for new correspondence that has posted and I’m not able to see nothing. I can not view letters, upload requested documents or see anything that was uploaded and recvd prior. None of the drop down menus with hyperlinks take me anywhere. I have the current software update (13.4.1 iOS) for my iphone8 so I don’t know what the problem is. I know for a fact, other friend and family members are able view and upload with no issues. Can anyone help ME with this issue? Pls and thanks 🙏🏽

Forms in the mail. I am thankful that Health and Human Services workers give their time and energy that when I submit my forms you do your best. I have sometimes had a few unintentional errors that I brought to your attention. Thank you for seeing the accurate data and doing your jobs well to modify the information that accuracy is maintained. I don’t error on purpose. Thank you HHS for your considerate attention. App Not Loading. I'm new and I'm creating user ID or registration on the your Texas benefits mobile app but when I start the process, creating the ID, it takes me to where I need to put first and last name plus date of birth then when I click on next it stops working😌. Please fix the problem Note: it only shows the screen white but doesn't show any progress, even if you wait for hours. So I don't if it's only me or it's just not working. Useless, unfortunate to say.. Please fix it how can social media apps be better than something like this… App works fine on tablet version BUT phone version has proven useless since initial download attempt over a week ago. I have not even been able to login, errors out every time to a blank page and YES, I have deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times… UPDATE: After response from developer to update to latest version (which I had been doing every time I attempted to reinstall) the phone version still no use. Cannot even login.

Uploading files easier than from laptop. Had trouble adding files (20 total) from my laptop drive. May have been a Chromebook issue as I don’t have a nicer laptop. Found better ‘work-around’ solution from the phone using app. App is faster as well. Thanks!

Unable To Prove Identity. Locked On A Black Screen. i'm not sure why, but for the past 6 months i've been completely unable to prove my identity to manage my case/use the hecking app. everytime i enter my information and press continue the app locks me on a blank black screen. no, no amount of waiting works. i waited an hour one day. not sure whats causing this but itd be greatly appreciated if it could be figured out. i've been trying to do it with my social security number, seeing as my literal case number is locked behind this app.

Deleted application. App had frozen on a page, nothing I tried fixed it. Then they were doing maintenance on the app. so it wasn’t available. It took more than a week for a tech to call me about it. In the meantime I had to delete the application that was stuck so I could fill out and complete a new one. Made the application date weeks later than it should have been so now I’m still waiting for a interview and it’s been a month since I filled out the new application.

FIX ASAP. I don’t understand how you guys will, demand for us to turn in certain papers or upload certain document by a certain date, yet can’t fix the app. Any document type I wish to upload I can’t because it keeps repeating “system error try again” and I’ve spent a whole week trying to upload documents but can’t because the app will not let me upload ANYTHING! the past version never had this problem. FIX IT ASAP then we get denied for no uploading documents with no extension when it’s your fault for not fixing this bug.

Texas human health service. I would like to know how much easier it is to do online with this app so much faster And you get things done and you can upload files when you can go to the office thank you so much for making it easier

App has login- in problems!. App keeps locking me out and telling me to change my password because I tried signing in too many times when I put my correct password in only one time. Makes no sense. But other than constantly changing my password I like everything else about it. Very easy to navigate once inside.

Password issues. I tried signing on to my account with my password that I changed back in February 2022 and wrote it down but the app said it was incorrect and I know for a fact that it was correct but I changed again and wrote it down along with the date today. my password in February and wrote the date down and wrote down my password and then I tried to login today with a password and it said it was incorrect

I love this app because anything that I need to know if I can go on this app and find out how I stand in terms of needing to recertify, I can change my pin number on my food stamp card, I can make change of address if I move, and it’s just good because I stay updated in every way. No One is HELPING ME!!!. I’ve been trying to renew and get my benefits back for months!!!! Just because they claim I was denied for not sending documents in on time! Which was a total lie! You can even see on my account the dates I sent them in and when they told me to have them sent in by! I would call them every day for months and make sure that I sent in everything they needed and every time they told me yes you sent in everything. And then the last couple times I have called they said no I was denied because I didn’t send everything in, something is not right!

Hello, I was told at the VA(Veteran’s affairs) for which I am currently practicing in the the cognitive work therapy program also known as CWT program for mental disabilities and favorable discharge veterans like myself, for just compensation at a non-taxed rate. Great App. Great App, I love how I can upload files and get confirmation, even verbally, that they were received. It’s so fast and easy and effective even for someone who doesn’t have a busy life. I appreciate everyone that’s involved. I’ve never been an app downloading person for personal information, this one is worth it

Works great when it’s running. The app works great during business hours. But if you’re trying to get stuff done over the weekend, good luck because the app shuts down on the weekend. Also, the feature to take a picture of documents doesn’t work. Even if you square the document right into the corners, it will only show a portion of the document. You have to take a picture with your own phone and post it that way.

Your Texas Benefits App Review. I am so glad that you provide an app that allows me to update forms, send documents and make changes. This is so much easier and much faster than making copies and sending them in the mail. Thank you for this app.

People are desperately grateful for sustenance. Which is, I suspect, the only reason this app has good reviews. It is well-designed to be difficult to use. It does not offer access to balance information. I tried to make changes for email and text alerts; I was sent security codes to “enter on yourtexasbenefits” but there is nowhere to enter them as far as I can tell. I don’t even know what my communication settings are at this point. This is spoils-system incompetence and bleed-the-beast sabotage—compounded oppression of the poor. History will not forget the people behind this.

This is an easier app to use than website. The website freezes and it doesn’t let you make changes on certain questions; I believe you have to call that in to the #211. It also uploads don’t seem to work even when I take a photo or it’s already on your files but this app; uploads are instant.

Super convenient!. This is by far the most convenient and easy way to communicate with your Texas Health agent, or back office from enrollment-finalization. I didn’t think it would be this efficient, but I’m impressed. Thank you for finding a solution that offers quick processing to getting information received, on-time and without the wait of calls, mail service or lines 😃

To hard. This new side is way too hard to get through. I kept trying and trying to do this and it kept kicking me out of it and make me start over to I really couldn’t even figure out what was on my case what I needed to add to my case so I really don’t understand the new side or how to do things I hope everything is right, but I just don’t known very confusing

Application fail. Its going to be my 3rd try to send an application, been calling to check a update on it, and its no where to be found! So has to send another one, send for 2nd time fist they said they got it, call again and no where to be found, so need to send my 3rd one!!! Extremely frustrating!!!

Could be better. It’s fast but for some reason my files never get sent I have to call or mail my forms it defeats the purpose of doing it online and it’s frustrating just go in person it’s better and faster

Unsatisfactory. I moved in November sent you the lease never heard back. Sent a letter asking why. I had Covid for weeks, when I felt better by the end of January I still got no reply. I noticed that I could not find my original documents. Please respond quickly as we don’t have food, the storm came we had lost power for 3 days and no water until yesterday. Feb. 25th 2021

Great but where's our balance?. Great great app. Only thing I don't understand is why we have to constantly call to get our balance when accessing the app would be so much easier and quicker? Please update he app so we can see our balance in real time!!!

Horrible. This app is horrible the way I get my forms and such is through the app because getting it through the mail it comes late and everything have to be due in the next two days. Another thing is the case worker never check the app for the upload Documents so they denied me twice what’s the point of having this app when they don’t check the website for your uploaded documents I been applying since August and still haven’t got my benefits all because the workers act like they can’t just look on the app for my uploaded documents IM STRESSED!!!

App is great but... Made simple if only documents were reviewed faster. I think employment is needed idk every time I send documentation through app I don’t receive quick results. TIP: Go into the office after you’ve sent documents so that it forces them to review your account.

Renewal. I was notified time to renew and was told to go to app… nothing about renewal there… am I supposed to redo a new application? If so why wouldn’t it just say apply again…. It also took 3 months to get a card after numerous phone calls…so this app is good for balance check and where purchases were made …. Just needs to be more user friendly on applying and renewals

Password Management keeps popping up. I keep trying to get to the manage and view case page and it won’t let me because it keeps taking me to the message center and asking me to sign up for paperless and when I click yes it keeps taking me back to message center and I can’t go to account summary after several tries. This is also on the web page. Really frustrating after being home from a C-section and getting asked for documents.

Agents not properly documenting attached paperwork from recipient. I sent in proper documentation showing that I care for disabled in the home, and I am unable as well as he is unable to attend workforce commission meetings for job employment. Please correct this issue on my case immediately as I have been in contact with Elizabeth Lavender with the workforce commission and she stated to let you guys know to update my case with the documents that I uploaded to you guys in August that was requested from Texas Department of human services. It is now your responsibility to update my case that I am exempt from the workforce commission meetings.

Frustrating to renew. Due to the father of my children adding different 3rd party insurance with out my knowledge of any info on it, and then not removing when expired or updating any one, my renewal is constantly getting hung up. I can not complete it and then have to call the office to try and get it accomplished, which seems to never fix the problem. Can’t remove the insurance info, even after calling all appropriate phone numbers given to me and marking no changes does not complete it as well!!!

Not working. I been using this app for a good while now and all of a sudden the helpful part of sending documents from photos in your gallery does not work now how is this convenient for me this is frustrating and to get a letter saying i have 30 days to send documents but its not my fault its the app.

Annoyed. There should definitely be other options in place for freezing and unfreezing your EBT card other than the app The app halfway works so having the app completely down and me needing to unfreeze my card at the grocery store is not working for me 🙄

My Texas Benefits. i’m so happy to have this app. i don’t think i’d be able to handle all that paper work. ii had recently fallen had hip replace t and broke both femurs. i’m home on oxygene and a walker. i can not travel alone. thankfully i just have to remember my password now. very user friendly. happy i can do this myself anytime Sincerely Susan English

App did not update. I have been out of work since sept 3 and I reported it few days after with proof and absolutely nothing was done after a few calls nothing and someone updated my case and out I receive unemployment when I was denied. Until now my account has not been updated and I’m still getting $63 in foodstamps.

Communication lacking. I believed this APP would help make this process less painful. My case was beyond the 30-45 days process time and I had not received any communication of the status of my case. I spent 2 hours standing in line and 2 1/2 hours waiting in the waiting room to be told I still needed more information to complete my application. This app isn’t kind to people in need of assistance. It only gives you false hope to believe if you just are patient, we’ll help you soon. Not true.

This app is a JOKE!!. I made my account to renew my Medicaid since I recently had a baby, HOWEVER the app is literally USLESS unless you upgrade to full access which I tried! Here the gag, I entered my info multiple times and this stupid app says “you’ve made a LIMITED access account, to create a full access account go to the manage tab and press yes” OBVIOUSLY I had just done that. THROW. THIS. RIDICULOUS. EMBARRASSMENT. THING THAT YOU CALL AN APP, AWAY!! Forgot to mention!! When trying to access my account on the app the second page to login where you answer question literally had NO questions!

Screen Keeps Going Black When I Try To Confirm My Identity. I am new to the app and the program. I created an account and am trying to confirm my identity in order to start my application. After I put it my date of birth the screen goes completely black.

Can’t get medication yet for my kids. I can’t get my kids medicine yet because I don’t have any money for the copay’s. Don’t have the Medicaid ID# yet! Can’t get a job because they say I’m over qualified! I’m a fluent Spanish & English speaker, read, write & translate too! Can’t get food stamps because of a car I can’t even pay yet! Who gets you guys! I’m just trying to feed my kids and survive! You guys are helping the people that sell the food stamps out there in the streets! Give them housing! I don’t want to lose my home from having it for 20 years! I don’t get any of you!

Update. It’s been good since I had downloaded it since my daughter was born. I just think it’s time for a update. I have stuff on my log that is old and I wish there was a way for me to clear it. I wanna be able to see all my approved stuff without the disapproved stuff getting in the way. Still a helpful app in the long run just needed an update.

Update ruined the perfect app. App was always so user friendly NOW can’t get passed the login page. It is only a solid white page that says Texas benefits across the top. It never opens. NEVER. For the first two weeks of the app it would let you do anything passed the login but now it is just as white page!! SOOOO annoying bc with benefits of you miss any deadline or don’t open a document they will cancel your benefits! This update has screwed everyone. Everyone says same thing!!

Not user friendly. At all. I’ve been attempting to send information via app and website and it has taken such a long time. First, every time I try to log in, the system is either “updating” or didn’t recognize my password. Then it asks for proof of employment and insurance but I’m unable to send anything without it being a headache and a hassle. Not only for me, but also for the person who has to review what hope I’ve sent them. Anyway, I hope this website can be more user friendly by letting users be able to copy and paste information, versus expecting us to be computer savvy. Thank you

Information is fast. I like this website because I don’t have to sit on the phone listening to a computer tell me to push buttons which never get so specific or correct person.

I need to file a complaint. I have been struggling so much with obtaining and keeping my benefits and I just don’t understand why. All my bills are past due and I’m at risk of losing my home but yet I keep getting denied. I make little money and I’m a full time college student with two kids. I need help I don’t want to be homeless and not able to feed my children.

After an update. Having a very hard time with this app now. My information is correct. But now when I try to check my Lone Star Card balance, it tells me I can not view the information because I am not the person who’s name is on the card. Seriously?? I can’t find any way around it and I’ve even deleted the app and downloaded it again from the App Store. Exact same issue still continues.

Ease of mobile. I tried for two days to scan and upload file on pc no luck . The online app is not as easy to use as my phone . My phone didn’t take 5 minutes uploaded file and all. I won’t bother with the difficult online app again . It’s sad you cannot speak to someone to without going to an office which is not always possible. I do very well to get to my treatments.

I like it!. I like how easy this is to get to you. I’ve tried for 3 days after getting this so late but my service doesn’t like to get signals in my house so I finally got the bright idea to go sit outside and it finally worked. I hope that’s what I needed.

Snap benefits. Texas benefits has help my little girl an I every time we have needed help the agents care about The Who need help they work and help get the help you need . We would like to thank all I he works that work for human Services for being there an going that extra mile to care enough of our children .

Doesn’t work anymore, not that it really did before. Kinda worthless! I only get a message that the app is being updated and I can use it again after Feb. 25th at 7pm. Well, it’s March 3rd! So, I can’t even review my benefits much less anything else. BTW, I have never been able to renew my benefits by this app or even on my desktop. So, one star, which you don’t really deserve that. Interesting how our tax dollars are being wasted with junk like this. Also, don’t even try calling about the apps or renewing with the apps. The reps won’t help you and can’t even put you in contact with those that should be able to.

You’ll need this app if you live in Texas. This app is one of the easiest app to use. The stress of applying for something is already too much but the this app makes it really easy. You can make corrections, upload documents or take a picture of something directly while you’re on the app. I mean what more could I ask for

Unable to renew medical. Both on my phone and on a computer I am unable to renew my medical. I began the process by clicking on renew, then it informs me to pick what I want to renew and nothing is there. So I filled out new application for medical, called today and was told he could not find it. So he told me to go hit renew button and fill it out. Nothing there sent pictures of the screen and what it showed on my file. As what I’m also going to do with this message. Maybe I will not lose my medical because of a error on your end.
