Better Apple Pencil/Stylus support badly needed. App is slowly getting better and better. We started out rough with lots of lost school work. Trying to finish school work within the app with our second grader was an exercise in patience. That seems to be largely fixed but it seems like the app bogs down depending on how many drawing objects there are on a page and objects in general. We finally bought an Apple Pencil to make it easier to do work in the app but there are still problems: 1) Palm is constantly triggering the tools on the bottom and right side of the app. Palm also triggers markings. This was the case even without the pencil. 2) Writing sometimes is not fluid, skips, or doesn’t register or is DELAYED. Almost seems like the app is freezing or bogged down. (We have the latest iPad and pencil). We know it is not an issue with the pencil and IS an issue with the app because when we use the stylus with other writing apps it is like a whole other world in terms of usability and performance. PLEASE work on making this a better experience and changing the interface design to be more user friendly!

Great for little kids, would love dates on posts though. My kindergartener can use this app pretty intuitively. My only wish is that all posts for assignments, journal entries, notifications, all included a date and time when posted and replied to. I just went back and forth with my son’s teacher thinking we didn’t receive the posted assignments for the day, but in actuality he did them all by himself. When I looked in the completed assignments folder there was no way to tell which day they were posted and completed. So, A+ that the app is easy that he can do it on his own, but please help parents know that critical bit of info so I can more easily track!

Buggy and Unreliable. Our school uses Seesaw for managing remote school work. However we (techie adult included) are having a hard time submitting homework. I get “Error. Item not found.” Seriously, couldn’t you catch these errors and handle them gracefully for grade school kids? It had come to a point where I needed to help my son redo his hard work because we couldn’t submit and had to redo the work. Couldn’t you at least save the work locally (on device) so we can recover previous work? The most frequent issue is that my son finished all his art work and then he cannot record audio (pause button is showing instead of microphone) and again he’s stuck and we have to redo the work. Such a frustrating and unreliable app. And it’s only the 3rd day of school. This app makes remote learning frustrating. Screenshot is more reliable.

Seesaw. Seesaw is a great school app in my opinion because it helps you learn a lot of stuff and it is a fantastic way for teachers to create assignments for students. And those assignments are actually fun a lot of the times. It also is a great app to store all of your hard school work you’ve done and chat with friends! I loved Seesaw in the year of 2020 and 2021 because it helped me create lots of great friendships and it helped me a lot with learning. Though I did want to be at school in person, it was certainly a great learning experience. I am looking forward to being back in person in 6th grade, but I will miss Seesaw that’s for sure. It is such a great learning and school tool that I will look forward to using it again!

Overall nice but could use a little work. The text entry can make many of the assignments difficult to complete especially for younger children. For example, when filling in the missing blanks of 1-100 chart, a child must somehow draw in all the tiny numbers with a difficult to control mouse or fingertip drawing making them barely legible or running into other numbers. The only other option consists of creating and resizing 50+ separate text boxes for 2 character numbers which becomes quite tedious especially for a 7 year old. I’m not sure the solution but I’m begging for one.

Not user friendly.. Seesaw is a great program. There is nothing can replace it as there are tons of options for teachers and student to interact and show learning. However I find that the program is not user friendly. As a teacher I wish there was a way to message my students. Instead of having the option to send a message I have to go into post student work then select note then the green check a couple of times then select the student that I want it to go to. It seems like there should be an easier way. That’s just one example of how the functionality could be much better. My students are submitting things to me by accident all the time because it is clearly marked how to save without sending.

Teacher approved Parents begging for more. I looooooooove using seesaw in my first grade classroom. I use this app as a communication tool between myself and the students families. The kids and I love making videos of our learning to send home to families and I take pictures a couple times a week to show families what we are doing in the classroom. I also love how I can send reminder messages to the entire classroom , just the families, or individual families when I need to. It is so easy for parents to use and they are always begging for more. I can not imagine not having seesaw in my classroom and love how easy it has made the school home connection.

Best Communication for Kindergarten!. I absolutely love SeeSaw for sharing work and communicating with parents! It has everything I need to have students show their hands on work in class and now that we are learning at home, it’s such a great platform to assign things to work on and upload videos. I can pick from any of the amazing assignments already created or create one of my own. I could not be happier with it and I will continue to use it in the future! Thank you for giving K-2 teachers such an easy way to keep our kindergarteners independent!

Decent App. Needs to handle submission errors more gracefully!. The app is good. It could be great if developers could enable the app to auto-save or at minimum handle submission issues more gracefully. Over the past year and a half of use my tech savvy kids have lost hours worth of work due to issues with submission. If they happen to be outside of WiFi range for a second during submission or if Seesaw is having an issue on there end their completed assignment will be lost completely. The app needs to hold onto the completed work until it confirms a successful upload. Currently it does not do this and if you click submit and encounter an issue you will almost certainly loose everything. I am an IT professional with enterprise grade access points all over my home. I trust the development team is aware is this issue and is working on it. Until they fix it I have tried to coach my kids to continually save a draft of their work so that a submission issue won’t be quite as devastating.

Great for Special Needs Classroom. SeeSaw is fantastic for providing digital documentation of student work. Many of my students don't engage in paper pencil tasks, but in more hands-on activities geared toward their individual goals. SeeSaw allows me to post photos of them working, their successes and their joy of learning. It's a great way to share with parents who rarely know what their child does at school due the lack of "work" being sent home. I love that SeeSaw maintains student privacy by only allowing parents to view items in their child's portfolio. Thank you for such a great tool.

Behavior Management. I really love how engaging Seesaw is for the kids and how many options they have to show their work. The ability to add voice instructions to assignments are very helpful, especially to us who work in Hawaiian language immersion. I wish Seesaw had a resource for behavior-management like ClassDojo, where they accumulate points depending on their behavior. If there was some way this platform could incorporate that, that would make this app the BEST! The “Skills” resource is extremely valuable. That is what separates Seesaw from the rest, being able to give the students quantifiable and qualitative feedback on specific standards. This Is the second time i am writing a review and I still wish that seesaw would add a behavior management resource to show the children and parents how they have been behaving. I do appreciate some of the updates made to editing and creating activities. I would appreciate if the activity didn’t change so much when I create it on my laptop to when the students work on it on their iPads. The dimensions differ I imagine and then certain text boxes move

Seesaw deeply flawed. The application creates workflow for children and educators that allows parents observe. Assignments are created in app, and children are expected to create PowerPoint like documents for each assignment ( which is tedious and pointless for many subjects ). The app freezes frequently when children try to save their work ( small children will become tired of this quickly). Sometimes homework saves and sometimes it does not. Every so often it only saves some of the work. Assignments are handed out as todo, which never time out ( any extra or optional work just continues to pile up ). I am amazed at all of the positive reviews for this app, because I just don’t see how anyone would give a 5 star review to app that fails to work as frequently as this app does.

THIS UPDATE IS THE WORST. I don’t know who thought it would be a good idea to make students have to sign in and out of their “student account” every time they log in (instead of when they are ready to post) because it is the most INCONVENIENT thing ever. When I have multiple students doing an activity they need to go back and forth to the QR poster, sign out and sign in just to be able to post. We were able to hand off the iPad before. Horrible. Also with the update, you are not able to go back and add drawing to your post once you have recorded. An example of this would be that we do fluency passages. The students record themselves reading, listen to their recording and rate how they read. Now after your record you can’t do anything else besides submit it. Love seesaw. Hate this update. Please fix these things ASAP for teachers sanity.

Codes. I don’t think the program is user friendly with all these codes. Parents struggle to get their kids logged on when using google accounts in second grade. Also, the video to teach parents to login should be your first step in the process. I’m highly disappointed that districts teach the content of the Seesaw program before demonstrating to teachers and parents how to login to the program. That’s the biggest hurdle!! One other thing, the page in seesaw is kind of confusing, not visually appealing with all the different tabs. 😐

New Update. I’ve loved seesaw, I’ve used it to connect with my kids teachers for a few years now. I absolutely HATE the new update and everyone I’ve talked to about it does too. You can’t click and zoom in on pics, when you zoom in on the frame that’s there it’s next to impossible to move the picture around. I feel like I’m always searching to find messages. The message center looks and feels like complete chaos and it feels like it takes forever for things to load. If you don’t change it back at least fix the picture problem.

Needs more scheduling options. I like the app. However, I need to be about to create an announcement, schedule it, and then select multiple classes at one time like assignments. It is extremely frustrating when you posted an assignment to multiple classes and realize you need to change it. Well, you would think you could edit it in My Lessons and it would change it. NOT! It’s not a living document. You have to change it in each class or delete it from each class and reassign the new one. OMG! And you can’t delete an item from multiple classes at once. Again, get ready to click your life away.

Seesaw is stupid, TEACHERS PLEASE READ. Hello! Those of you who think Seesaw has a perfect Instagram- like setup, and super fun and easy, you are wrong! Seesaw is annoying. The computer Seesaw is better than the app one, but they are still stupid. Teachers, kids are allow to make random videos. Just imagine the inappropriate issues your trouble-making kiddos would do! Plus, there’s no preset comments. Those trouble-making kiddos in your class could swear or hurt someone’s feelings. It also encourages kids to sneak and watch classmate’s videos instead of doing work. There’s no way to ban video making. Kids reading this, you don’t want to have Seesaw, it’s little-kiddie. The grade ranges that do enjoy it is K-1, 2nd+ just hate it. Schoolagy (did I spell it right?) is more ages 3rd grade + and is perfect! It’s harder to make videos than just tapping a button, and you can like videos. Kids have fun doing that. Teachers can also make great videos. Teachers, if you prefer Microsoft Stream, when you are showing your students how to get to it, there will be a little button in the corner to view the video on Microsoft Stream! Teachers, video making on Schoolagy (if I didn’t spell it write, I’m sorry) is amazing. Do scratchy sound issues like on Seesaw. If you are a K-1 teacher, use Seesaw (it’s the best you got) Thank you for reading

Great application. I enjoy using Seesaw for myself as a parent and for my child as well. It’s been a great tool this past week as we started distance learning. Communication between students and teacher is made easy and submitting completed assignments is literally a piece of cake. All in all a great user friendly app for schools and students. Definitely beats Schoology!! The only thing I’d really like added is a way for my child to keep track of completed vs not completed assignments. With online learning there’s sometimes 10+ assignments every day and they’re impossible to “mark as completed.” If the developer would find a way to improve the app in this aspect I’m positive you’d make all of us parents lives easier as we push through becoming homeschool teachers with no qualifications. 🥴

I kind of like it. I like seesaw I do it on a Crome book and it’s kind of hard to get my sparser to go somewhere in the text box like when I click 10 times somewhere it needs me to delete the space in between and there is one thing if you change it it would be nice if you could press the red x without having to delete all your work so you don’t always have to put it in draft I mean I like to draft my work and all but maybe in instead you could change it into a button that says delete so than people will know that that button deletes your work. Oh and happy st. Patrick’s Day I hope you find a four leaf clover 🍀today.

Great, but I’d like some additions. Like many other people, I use a lot of SeeSaw during this pandemic, so I have to deal with some issues that get pretty annoying when I deal with them every day. First of all, a button to hide the tool bar would be helpful. Second, you can’t do anything to videos that are recorded, like cut out parts or crop it. Third, you can only post videos individually, so I have to make a video separate from my post. Fourth, an auto save would be helpful because if I accidentally close the app or something, all of my work is erased. Last, this is a small thing, but when I scroll down, then go somewhere else, I have to scroll back down and find the assignment. Other than that, it’s a helpful and easy-to-use app.

Great!. It’s great but it’s better on a computer though but that’s really fine though people say that there is no WAY to crop but there IS a WAY how to crop you just click on a photo and on it then you move it to the side and when it has the green plus you let go of it then try to find the photo then you just click anywhere and make it how you want it to crop and when there is a blue square (it can be any shape) then on your keyboard you click control v then go to seesaw then to your assignment then when your there you just click control c then it’s there! There is SO many ways to do things on seesaw and I have no idea why they just don’t wanna figure out how! So this is definitely a five star app.

Terrible security and student privacy. Seesaw uses a single login credential (unique hash / ID) for students to log in if schools configure it to. If these are shared, as some generally naive teachers may do for every student to their entire class, they cannot be reset / regenerated by the student (or parent). The result is (as in our case) kids, even in 3rd grade, “hacking” or threatening to “hack” each other. Absolutely terrible. This is where your kids put their class work, comments, and private communications with their teachers. I am disappointed that my kids’ school uses it. When I log in as my child I see nothing in account settings that would allow me to change the login mode to email/password. This choice should not be teacher-controlled once accounts are given to students. Frankly this choice should not be available as it is inherently insecure. Schools, parents, students (etc) have a tendency to print spreadsheets of credentials and leave them sitting around.

New Messaging Update is Awful. I LOVE this app and have been using it for 7 years. I was so excited when they said they were merging class and family into 1 and updating. The update is awful with messages though. I am a kinder teacher and it used to be so easy to find and message parents for my class. Now I have to jump through a ton of hoops to even create a message. I can’t just scroll through parent names of my class to send a message I have to actually know their names and search which often times in the beginning of the year I don’t off they top of my head. I have parents emailing that they can’t write a message to me or reply. They used to easily be able to just type under any message I sent and it would go privately to me. I have watched the video on this over and over but it doesn’t match what they see on their end. I love the idea of group messages but the rest of this is garbage. I was also hoping families would be able to add to their children’s journal since they help with the homework at home. Now they are having to log between student and family accounts. I hyped up this app to my families like I do every year but they are frustrated and not impressed this year. I hope they rework this or go back to the old user friendly way or we may have to find another program.

Best platform to use for elementary school. I have always loved Seesaw, but when we suddenly got thrown into distance learning I had to think on my feet and use Seesaw on a whole new level. Seesaw did not disappoint! I was able to use it to assign activities to students on different levels, on different days at different times. I could provide feedback and interact with my students either through text or audio recordings. I even could record myself making changes to their assignments so they could see how to do their assignment. I also created a class blog so that my students could interact with each other while at home. This allowed them to post pictures or videos and comment on each other’s posts. I was still the moderator on all of those. I raved about it so much that my district has now purchased it for all of our elementary schools to use! I highly recommend it!!!!

You guys have to allow for local storage. There is a huge flaw in your system... unless I’m missing something, if the internet goes down (a daily occurrence now that everyone is working from home) and your child is trying to upload their work you have two choices: 1) delete and start over - throwing away whatever your child has just done, or 2) turn off the device stop school for the day and wait for the internet to come back on so you can upload and go on to the next task. Maybe you could add an option to store the item locally and have an “upload later” button. Just a thought. There are many other frustrations with the UI but that is the killer flaw right now.

Disappointed in the Updates. I have been using Seesaw as a teacher for 7 years and I love Seesaw! However, many of the updates this year are not user friendly for teachers or families. The update that I am having the most difficulty with is the new way teachers comment on student work on my phone. It is just a running line and there is no way to view it before it is posted. I know you can edit it after it’s posted but it makes the process inconvenient. In previous versions you could see your whole message and were able reread it before posting. This makes me not want to check Seesaw posts on my phone which puts me behind on checking my students’ work. I always have my phone with me but I don’t always have a computer. Whenever I have a free moment I would check it. I know many teachers who prefer to check their Seesaw on their phones. Can we please go back to the old version of commenting on student work? I want my students and families to see my feedback in a timely manner.

Option request. Dear developers, as a teacher engaging in distance-learning I am regularly teaching parents and students how to use your app. It would be a wonderful feature if I could toggle between the student view and the parent view in order to seamlessly demonstrate where to go in the app and how to use the app. My families struggle to learn the basic features of the program but in order for them to support their students and communicate effectively with a variety of school professionals there are more advanced app use skills that I need to teach them. Same with the students. They need frequent re-teaching on how to use the features to complete assignments. They are learning environments are very busy homes with many distractions I need to be able to show them exactly what they are going to see. Some students with disabilities need further re-teaching. I would so appreciate your consideration of this request.

Best Ever!!. I teach 1st grade, and I love the way that Seesaw allows my students and me to share what is happening in our classroom. My students are able to record their voices, take pictures of their work, and share their thinking with me and with their families via Seesaw. It is also a really fast way for me to communicate with parents. I use Seesaw to send out my weekly class newsletter and to send out last minute announcements, as well. Great way for teachers, parents, and students to stay connected! Also, it is a great place for teachers to share things with each other. I use so many assignments from the community of teachers on Seesaw to advance the thinking and learning in my classroom. The only thing I wish were different about Seesaw is I wish I were able to assign things just to certain students instead of to the whole class. It would help me differentiate my assignments better. Maybe there’s a way to do that and I just haven’t figured it out yet... 🤷‍♀️ Not sure. But overall, Seesaw has been such a neat tool and resource for my classroom!

Why you hate the app. You don’t need to say stupid and please reed the class if you don’t do seesaw you be bad at school to be poor or rich you can do fun stuff to learn at school to know the things when you grow up you could get sad if your poor when you grow up you need to reed the discription and only for 5 grades or 4 grades all the grades you do for class and don’t hate it I try it when I was 6 you can only try it for homework don’t hate it it’s the grate app guys I know that the others likes it but why you hate it guys its the best app ever🥺😢 don’t hate this app and please read the discription 🥹

Awesome App. Ok I am a Kindergarten Teacher and when the school closure happened I wanted someway for the class to connect with me and the other students. One of my coworkers told me about this app and I set my class up and have been loving it! The kids love it! It is easy for them to easy use and they are enjoying the tasks and interacting with each other through videos and voice recorded comments. From a teacher’s perspective it is age appropriate and easy for them to use. It has lots of fun activities to assign to the class and it is easy to make your own activities. Great app.

Not as good as it used to be. I don’t like how limited the text box options have become when embellishing a photo. The font choices are very limited. I don’t like that I don’t have more control over the text box color scheme or the saturation level of the fill. I really miss the freedom and creativity I had a long time ago😟, just haven’t taken time to write a review. I used to use the text box feature ALL the time. Now I don’t use it at all. I have switched to google slide. I also don’t like that the caption feature overlaps the bottom of the picture. It would be nice to have embellishing capabilities in the note option.

Work in progress. Seesaw is great for casually keeping parents in the loop with their kids work in school and some limited amount of outside of school learning. It is not great in how it organizes content or in how it lets you search for content. It is mainly set up in a blog style format putting the most recent assignments at the top. Unfortunately by default it resets you to the newest item in the “news feed”. This can make navigating to old assignments very difficult. There is a calendar view for completed assignments, but not for assignments in the “news feed” queue. Some schools are trying to stretch seesaw into their primary distance learning vehicle and that is clearly not its intended purpose. In order for that to work the basic interface needs to be evaluated and updated.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. When you run into issues, you CAN NOT call them for support. You have to do it via email and it takes DAYS to get real issues resolved. I usually get ONE response a day from their support people. Case in point, I opened a ticket with them on a server error we keep getting on Sept. 27 (over a week ago) and I am no closer to getting this resolved (it is now October 5th), then when I opened the ticket. As a support person, I am used to calling in issues and getting it resolved either on that phone call, or shortly there after (maybe a day or two later). This has happened now mulitiple times since we became a Seesaw For Schools building. The teachers who use Seesaw, absolutely love it, and I understand why, but coming from a support perspective, my view of Seesaw is quickly diminishing!!!!!!!!!!!

The BEST app for primary grades!. I have always had two problems with independent work in my first grade class: I can’t check up on them without having them hand in a worksheet, and I can’t always be there to give them directions again in case they forget, especially during centers. This app solves both those problems!! I can be at home on my couch checking their independent center work, I can record and write directions so that children of all ability levels can understand what to do, and I can turn just about any assignment into an authentic assessment instantly! Could not love this app more!!

Best Educational App Bar None. I am an experienced teacher, and I’ve been using Seesaw for years. It’s always been wonderful. It is the most helpful technological tool I’ve ever used by FAR! It’s always been fantastic, but they are always making improvements, and they respect teacher input. Since the pandemic, they have been incredible-dealing with an influx of new users and going above and beyond to meet ever increasing needs. I never want to stop using Seesaw. It’s excellent for virtual teaching and face to face teaching. It’s got outstanding tools and features for teachers, AND it’s user friendly for teachers and students. I use it with Kindergarten students, and they get the hang of it so quickly. They love it. It’s engaging and fun, but it truly enhances and improves their learning. The people at Seesaw truly want to do the best that they can for teachers and students. It is by far the best technology I’ve ever used in the classroom.

So good. We will get back to the house next weekend if you want it will let you know soon love love it I’ll get it back together for dinner, (Monkish bypass the new home for the next few weeks so I can go back in and go get it soon if I get it I’ll get it back in a couple of days then I can get back in to get a few weeks to go back home soon I love it I’ll let you know if you have a couple of questions I love it I’ll get back in love you soon I’ll let you know if I need you soon love love it I’ll get it soon love you have dinner with my friend and then we can get dinner and I’ll get back together and I’ll get together for

Stressful. As a parent that has had the torture of using the seesaw application daily for 3 weeks now, for two kids that are home due to school closures during coronavirus, this application is awful. It’s not intuitive enough for my kids to use on their own and half the time I’m clicking between several sections to try and locate the correct lesson or video. The lessons we have completed are mixed in with the lessons we still need to complete unless the teacher goes in and archives the old ones. The whole application is a huge stressful, confusing mess. Let alone having multiple children that need to use it and you have to scan two separate codes every time you want to switch kids. Thinking about withdrawing them and homeschooling because that would be better than having to use seesaw every day.

Decent for distance learning. Like many, I’m sure, I have been using the Seesaw app for distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Overall, the app has been beneficial for the teachers to share the lesson plans and we utilize the app similar to a social media (FB) platform by responding to the teacher’s posts with the completed assignments. Unfortunately , this is also why I only rate the app 3 stars. The issue is that once I’ve responded to an activity posted by the teacher, there are no indicators that the particular assignment was completed/responded by me resulting in a lot of time spent searching through activities that need to be completed. I liken this issue to having read an email in Outlook and then going back later for that one email but all emails are marked as “unread”. It would be excellent if the developer were to create a means for the completed assignments to be highlighted that it has been responded to/completed. Further, it would be additionally helpful if the app indicated that the instructor reviewed the students work and whether it needed to be redone.

I’ve never hated an app more. We have to use this for my kindergartener’s remote school. It crashes every single time we try to open a new work/activity. It doesn’t save your spot in scrolling so you have to scroll all the way each time. There is no way to make an activity go away from the “waiting a response” unless you respond to it but some don’t need a response like read aloud, so I hate that those don’t go away making it look like you still have many activities still waiting to be done. Not all activities have the same options like video, or upload, or to draw, etc. My kid’s work would take leas time if it didn’t take forever dealing with this poorly designed and glitchy app. Did I say I hate this app?? Yeah, HATE it.

I would like to see some improvements. I have had a pretty good experience with seesaw so for the most part I am very happy. I just had 1 concern. So when you are looking at your assignments at the top right corner is a calendar sign and I was very exited. So I clicked it and it showed me what I already sent. I was a little confused. I would prefer if it showed when my assignments were due. I think it would help a lot of people I would defiantly use it. I would like if it also had holidays like Christmas or memorial day when most schools have it off. It would surely help. But otherwise seesaw is great. I hope everyone is doing great. Have a nice day! ❤️😀

Amazing app for the classroom, but.... I love everything about See Saw as a teacher, however they have made a change in that when I try and share a picture from my phone with my student’s parent (via the app), it no longer allows me to add a simple caption below the photo. This is important as I need to be able to give a brief explanation to the parent as to what is occurring. Rather, when I select the photo(s) from my phone’s camera roll to share, the app only lets me select the student’s name/family to share with, but then immediately posts the picture before I am given a chance to add a caption. This never used to happen last school year. Please, developers, make the fix to change it back to allow adding captions from my phone app. Thank you!

Great tool!. This app has been a wonderful component of family school communication. It helps me more frequently update families about happenings in the classroom, send informal notes, and document student work. It’s also helpful with very anxious parents who need fast feedback in the beginning of the year. Thank you for adding pictures to announcements!! This is really helpful 👍🏻 I would like a couple issues fixed: 1. When you take a picture and are in for example the morning class you are not able to switch to the afternoon session without deleting the picture. This actually happens frequently and is annoying. 2. It is easy to forget about messages from parents in the inbox because once they are clicked on you aren’t really aware of them anymore. I think it would be helpful if the messages were sorted like an email format instead of by individual family members. This would make responding more efficient.

Parents love it!. This is our second year using Seesaw. Parents love it!! It’s ‘instagram’ style feed allows for ease of use and visibility of pictures, announcements, and notes. I only with they could merge with remind for the benefit of importing a calendar and sending reminders automatically. With 40 students between my two classes, I wish there was a way to upload more than one picture at a time (similar to how Instagram lets you create a series) or create a collage of a few pics that represent students work on a certain activity. Finally, we purchased the Plus feature to help us with our Illinois KIDS portfolio artifacts, unfortunately the ratings scale is set for you and you can’t change it. It lets you use 4 stars instead of the 6 levels we need. Overall, a great basic app to help bring the experiences in the classroom home and vis versa, send announcements, and keep communication visual. Hoping for the silver bullet of apps to help meet the needs of busy teachers and bustling students!

Seesaw has been a life saver since COVID!. I’m a Kindergarten teacher who is SO grateful for the Seesaw app! 🥰 When the COVID shut down of my school happened 2 years ago, I was in a bit of a panic as to how I was supposed to teach kindergartners online and give them learning activities that would help them practice the skills I was trying to teach! I was introduced to Seesaw which my school adopted as a mainstay to our remote learning. I love the easy access for both teachers & students, the fun & engaging learning activities and videos and I love the tracking system for completing the assignments. I also love the feature that allows teachers to leave comments, edit activities & make corrections for quick feedback to students and parents! I also love that the parents can see their child’s progress and receive/send messages too! 💕THANK YOU FOR CREATING the SEESAW APP!

Nice but over priced for what you get.. The extras, are not worth what they are asking. I paid it hoping to find it to be super helpful, but the price does not at all match what you get. Disappointing, especially since it is glitchy in those areas too. Before you go charging over $100 for something, you may want it working properly? Update: When you enter an activity page, and add page, you should be able to upload in each individual tab a new document. I don’t want to have to edit, and create all the content before I can even enter it into the app. It needs to be more functional. Like, upload option in each tab.

I’m a student and LOVE this app!!!. Covid has really affected how we learn, we had already been using seesaw occasionally in class so it wasn’t a surprise that we used it for online school. I loved seesaw then and love it even more now! Teachers can send assignments to students individually, or send them to everyone. The app is easy to use and for me, using it was a price of cake. I mean I am good at technology anyways.(outsmarted my parents 43 times but who’s counting?) 😂 No one in my class had much trouble with it and everyone loved it. Of course except the kids who hate school and did like no homework cause they were ‘busy’ but there’s always at least one of those kids in every class! Over all it’s an AMZING APP AND I RECOMMEND IT WEATHER YOU ARE DOING ONLINE OR IN PERSON SCHOOL!! Also I love you Mrs. Young and Mrs. Smith! I will miss you when I go t middle school next year! -Kara H from spring creek elementary 💚💙

Great app, but wish it had one thing!. We have been using seesaw family and class for over 2 years. It is fairly easy to use and very helpful. Now that we are using it everyday, I’m REALLY wishing there was a place for the kids to check something off as completed without adding a response. Sometimes, a response is not needed other than just marking it as completed. This would help the students (and parents helping younger students) to see accurately how many activities are left in each class. Also, would also not add more work for the teachers. Is it possible to upload a video without breaking it up into parts?

Seesaw is is the best app for on campus and online school. This app is just amazing, easy to understand, and easy to use and handle. Unlike Schoology, posting assignments doesn’t take minutes and just automatically posts the assignment or image. It very easy to use, given how compacted it is and isnt just a bunch of slides that are 8 PT and cant even be read by people with eye conditions, and I’d say is just really recomended for schools since its very easy to set up, and it’s really not fustrating sisnce it never failed me once during 4th grade, and just a good way to start socializing.

Maybe.. I gave seesaw 3 stars because, well, to me, Seesaw is like “class instagram” I like how you can post things educational and that you can get in touch with your class mates on a device. But, I’d not do “teacher approvals.” It can take days to write a comment or days just to have a post be approved. Also, How come parent’s comments have to approved too? It makes no sense. It’s not like their going to post anything bad. Also, parents can’t post either it would be fun if they did. But still, just for the kids that want mothers and fathers to post on seesaw. I hope reading this response will have you with suggestions. This is just me though, I think seesaw is good though.

Such an improvement!. In my previous review, I had written that while Seesaw had many amazing features, it was missing a feature that was important to home-school communication: the ability for parents to send pictures through private messaging. Now, the latest update gives that ability and more! Not only can parents/teachers send pictures through private messaging, but also videos, pdf files, and others! Now, my one remaining wish for Seesaw is to have something to the School Story feature similar to Class Dojo. This feature will help schools share school-wide activities/announcements to families. Seesaw is amazing!

Great app. Few suggestions.. Hi I have a few suggestions! I would love the option to mute notifications on a few classes as I would like to have notifications on one only (I have multiple classes linked as I am exec and have access to multiple classrooms) Another would be a feature where parents can choose the option to block or hide other parents comments on their child’s post (divorce). The only solution I have found was to create a whole new profile for this student and upload work twice (too time consuming) I would love if there was an option for both parents to be linked to same child without interacting with other parent etc and their information is uploaded once only. Other than this it’s a great app!

See saw is sht. Take my advice and DON’T USE IT. This app is easily the dumbest home schooling app ever. I was using in primary school and throughout lockdown and it was very infuriating as when you are trying to drag text boxes it will extend them instead of moving them. You also have 1000’s of notifications on your device and your work isnt sorted into folders. Also i was reading other reviews and many people were saying you can’t record video longer than 5 minutes. Overall review:0/sht out of 1/10 Edit:also when your teacher lets everyone in the class see each others work kids could cheat. Maybe you can ket kids see each others work after they completed their work. Then i might give it 3 stars

SO GRATE!!!!. Sister is the best app ever and it's really easy to use I really commend these this app I think everybody in every school should have this app on the school iPad it's really helpful in the classroom and if you really don't want to present tape in front of your whole classroom you can just do it on Seesaw and even do a slideshow because that's what I did for today on daily speaking in my class today in my class

Photo size issue.. I love seesaw and so do my students’ parents; however, since the a recent update our uploaded photos appear smaller and if you post multiple photos everyone photo from the first one is even smaller. It’s not just on the iPhone, it’s on the computer website as well. The the multiple photos are tiny. I’m talking 2cm in height and they are surrounded by white. This is the first issue we have even had after using seesaw for many years. I hope it can be resolved.

New update problems.. I love this app however since the new update I can’t click on items the teacher has sent through and zoom in to read them. I am an iPhone user and now if I try to zoom in on a newsletter it’s so blurry it can’t be read. I used to click on the newsletter and it would go to full screen. I don’t own a computer and now it’s impossible for me to read newsletters and term planners ect.

Why seesaw is the best. This is a app I use for school we have lots of other apps but this is the main one we use we could do our homework presentation and lost more. And what are you make Little mistake it AutoCorrect‘s even though I don’t have grammarly. I really think everyone to use it... it’s not a waste of time it’s saving lots of time.

The Perfect School App!. I’m glad to give this app five stars due to how amazing my experience was! ‘Seesaw’ the perfect online class app it will most certainly remind me of homework, things I forget, switch of class plans and sooo much more! Without seesaw I believe 0% of my homework would be completed! If I was to recommend one app for all schools seesaw would be the one! I need this app for almost all my school work and it hasn’t failed me once, that’s why I love seesaw, and a example for when seesaw is so helpful is: say I’m not at school on a Friday (Friday is when we get homework) and I missed what i had to do all because I wasn’t present! Well all it takes is a click of two simple buttons and seesaw will immediately notify me of all my homework! Stressing from frequently being away? I recommend seesaw anytime! Try now!

Ok but a few things. So this app was a really good one but the update is a bit confusing for me and my child here’s why. 1- looking through stuff can be difficult as the old one is more easier .2- uploads quicker , I would probably be more easier to use if it took less time to load . 3- while looking through messages can be time consuming as when I try to message my daughters teacher I have to scroll down a long way to find their account. Thanks for reading :)

Year 5 Australia. Seesaw has been totally reliable throughout the Covid 19 crisis. The kids are loving it. I’m loving coming up with creative new ways to deliver lessons. The most powerful part is the ease of giving feedback to individual children. I think I’d love to work this way all the time! Missing the kids though. Not once has Seesaw let us down. Brilliant programme.

Uploading photos. Love Seesaw but would like to see an easier way to upload photos. Maybe if the previous photo was highlighted to show you’ve already uploaded it. Also if the camera roll stayed right where you had previously uploaded so that you could just upload next photo rather than constantly having to scroll back to where you were previously. Or if this could be a choice as I find as a teacher if I’m uploading one picture at a time to a student’s portfolio the scrolling is so time consuming.

Seesaw Is Laggy. I know this may be just me and I know it’s a great app but whenever I try to do maths it literally just lags me and I have to wait like for an hour for it to just go on that page so it’s hard to finish it . Sometimes you don’t even know if you moved the part so it just happens to be a big waste of time . I’m a Year 4 Student and it just pisses me off when this happens . However , seesaw is still a great app , even if its laggy or doesn’t allow you to pick the same colour because of the colour tool .

Unhappy 2nd time around. Our school used the free version of Seesaw during the last remote learning phase. During this time we were able to upload video lessons of up to 10 minutes. Since then our school has paid $7000 au dollars to upgrade to the full version and now the limit on videos is only 5 minutes which is hardly any time to explicitly teach any concepts. I can’t even re-use videos I’ve previously used on Seesaw as now they are too large even though they are sitting in activities I’ve already saved. We are most unsatisfied with this change and feel that is the actual opposite to an upgrade. It would be good if you could please increase the capacity to upload videos ASAP for all our stressed out teachers in Vic Australia. Thank you in advance!

Old version is better. As a student, I use Seesaw very frequently. There were ever-so-slight bugs in the previous version, which I didn’t mind. However, when this update came, my work became 2 times as hard. First off, before, when you swipe out of the app during an activity, when you come back it says: ‘You have unfinished work. Do you want to continue where you left off? Edit or Delete’. Now that function is removed. Because of this, I had to start over on my English Assessment. Furthermore, typing is more difficult. Copying and pasting is far more complicated now, and just trying to edit a text box is annoying. Sometimes the flashing line shows that you are editing a text box, but there is no keyboard. You can’t edit the text box because of that. Then you have to go to a different slide, and if the text box is not saved (it’s new) then it’s deleted. This is especially annoying if I’m typing a long paragraph and it gets deleted. My final problem the new way things work. I liked the old one. The messages look weird, the animation of entering a text box is ugly and it’s just overall worse. Please do something to fix AT LEAST ONE of the problems I listed, or I will steal your cookies.

Why I don’t like seesaw and why I do like seesaw. I don’t like the new update because all my friends can change their profile picture and I can’t and when I make a spelling mistake I have to delete everything just to fix it. Why I like seesaw A fun app for school and has really cool fonts. Seesaw also has a cool feature like you can make your own activity by drawing or thanking your teacher.

#best school app.. This app is the best because it is like kids Facebook. This app is kind of like kids Facebook because it has post from others and from you even it has comments and hearts that is totally Facebook okay . I even like the new update because it has new backgrounds I specially like the blend.

¿¿I don’t know man??. This thing is weird. We use this at school and it is laggy. I don’t even know how to do the activities. I recommend not to use this app. Some people love this app and some people hate this. I am not saying you shouldn’t use this, I am just giving you a heads up of what you are going to get when you get this app. Ok, just listen to me. This also uses up a lot of data. Of course they won’t tell you because then why would you get the app. By for now

So happy. This app is excellent and I would love to visit with all my classes except not everyone has access to an iPad or a laptop which is sad. But I love it and highly recommend it. The kids love it and get excited when something is put on their journal page by me and other children like that work. I wish I’d found it sooner.

Reduce/customise notifications. This is a great app. The only issue I have is that you get a notification every time a post made by the teacher for everyone to see, is liked by other parents. I’ve tried turning off the push notifications but it has had me missing out on important messages from the teacher. If there was an option to turn these notifications off or customise the alerts, this app would be even greater. The same goes for the Seesaw Family app.

Great app and so easy to use. I homeschool my two children and love this app. I've just set up our classroom and blog. We can now share our learning adventure easily with friends and family who are not on social media. My daughter has already posted a few of her animation movies and a science project movie about the moon, which she made in Shadow Puppet Edu. I also love the fact that I could post photos and video from throughout the year and edit the post date. Now we have a wonderful record of our learning journey, in chronological order, for the whole year.

Perfect. This app is perfect for all my school work. It has many options to chose from to upload your work and creative ways for teachers to present work. It has all the basic needs in the classroom and great way to talk to your teachers if you have any inquiries. I recommend this app to all teachers and students around the world.

Seesaw is not the best. I am a student currently using seesaw and this app is great accept for a few things. The first thing is that there are things on the side and bottom that allow you to change from writing something to drawing and ect this is great but the problem I have with this is that it often gets in the way of reading things that are on the side or bottom behind it. What I am saying is that you should make a way to hide it and bring it back. The second thing that annoys me about this app is that the bar that pops up on the right side of your phone to change the colour of text or your pencil is witch NEVER GOES AWAY and it blocks a lot of my vision of the screen. Maybe this problem could be fixed if I had a phone with a bigger screen but I don’t. The third and final thing that I want changed about this app is that you can not change the brush size when using any one of the drawing tools. To fix this problem you could maybe make it so if you hold your finger on a drawing tool at the bottom of the screen then it will bring up a options menu. I hope this app gets better so I can give it a 5 star review. Edit: maybe also change it so when someone who is not the teacher comments on your work it doesn’t count as a notification because at the moment I get a ton of notifications of classmates commenting something irrelevant to me or my work (and they don’t even comment on my work and I still get the notifications.).

Important note the the editor. I clearly state that you need an improvement that know one ever wanted to say. Why is it that you can only upload images one time and have to wait so long for another? I want you to make that app able to let you upload anytime anywhere. Because right now I need to finish my class activities or else! I don’t take this as a joke, seriously. Please let us upload images anytime anywhere. You already have responded to others so respond to mines please so we can do activities without app problems and also fix when you upload something the screen goes blank! It’s all white. This is extremely important or am just gonna feel like why did my teacher used seesaw to upload images when you only have one chance. So make us able to upload images whenever we want. That’s what I just need for the app. Make sure to read this carefully! Bye!

Good but I have only some suggestion. 1) I hope that you add a chat system for the teacher and kids instead of having to right that thing sorry I forgot. 2)less storage. I mean how much storage it takes on my iPad a lot. 3)can you put a system so when someone new joins it says new in the bottom right corner. 4) our profile picture needs to be bigger. 5) can you put next to our names a small picture of our work and photos. 6) also we need a space for the teacher. Thanks for reading this review I hope that these reviews get implanted to the app hopefully I did not waste anyone time and again thanks for reading.

Thanks for Saving My Voice!. Home learning has brought many changes to the way we teach and of course some are going to stay even though we are back face to face. One example that stands out is recording my voice explaining what is to be done in a writing activity or maths activity or any other subject! This saves me from repeating myself and constantly reminding others to be quiet all at the same time instead of allowing students to get on with the task at hand at their own learning pace. After verbally (and unvirtually) presenting the activity to the whole group through an engaging warmup and explanation, the children can then gather themselves, their books and iPad, dice, pencils and so forth, put their headphones on and re-listen and view at their own learning pace to parts or all depending on their needs. The post will have not only my voice speaking in a warm calm tone, but any pertinent resource such as a worksheet, video or list of writing goals which I also read out in case they are struggling with reading. Instead of a sharp and raspy classroom voice, I am soft and encouraging and completely able to be heard! Who’d prefer to listen ti a sharp tone? No one of course! And, I get to save my voice! A classic problem of teaching is losing your voice from straining to be heard in a busy class of 25 people. Problem begone, thank you Seesaw!

I hate it. I hate it bc it’s for homework And one time I worked on my Arabic homework, and then it got me two copies so I tried to delete one but the teacher send me my work back for review One copy was empty, one was filled There is the other time when I spent about 30 minutes trying to record my reading but whenever I’m reading, I look at the screen and then... BOOM it exits the recording. That happend bc I recorded more than 5 mins but I took about an hour to try and record twice, once on a page but then it gets all the pages mixed up

Well wat needs a update for SEESAW class. I need to get a update are you can go on theMessages so then you can see what your teacher posts to the whole entire class and she should be able to comment on what your principal deputy principal or some other teacher or something posts on it so you should be able to comment on the class announcements or whole school announcements from your teachers and your principal and all that stuff for you pls add From me

Very disappointing. Sadly due to the fact that teachers have set up seesaw accounts using QR code’s it was not possible to add additional classes for a student and so for the kumon class we were not able to successfully use seesaw for our students and have moved over to Edmodo!

My teaching support. The best gadget I have ever used in my 35 years of teaching. What an amazing way to not only show children’s work and progress, I can record conversations between children or of individuals and parents have a keepsake for that 21st birthday party or for life.

Text editing is so bad it offsets all the good. This would be a fine program - the messaging works ok, the work submission is ok, etc - but the text editing in text boxes awful beyond description. Clicking on a text box may open the keyboard but then clicking inside the text to change cursor position as often seems to close the keyboard as select a point. When it does move the cursor, it is often visually one or two characters from where the text entry or editing occurs. The standard ‘hold space then scroll cursor’ doesn’t work. Mostly fine, text editing it so ghastly that the experience of using the app is awful, very bad, no good.

Amazing. Seesaw is a great app and it makes it 10 times easier to do work and for teachers to assign activities for their students. However writing a text can be a little bit annoying but only sometimes it might be a little laggy but it will still function properly. I conclusively believe that seesaw is a great app you can also have folders to organise your work and teachers can pin important information/activities so students will be able to see it. I highly recommend seesaw for people who are homeschooled or kids that think it will help with their learning.

Really Annoying bug!😡. There’s this really annoying bug that needs to be fixed! When I go onto an activity the text boxes are small so I make them bigger. But then a second later they get even bigger without me making them and then when I try to make it smaller it gets bigger! Every time I try to make it smaller it gets even bigger and it is SOOOOOOO ANNOYING! I would give this app a 4/5 if this bug wasn’t here. Please fix this!🥺

Absolute GEM!. I love this app because 1) it’s user friendly - very intuitively designed 2) I can organise my posts by subject (folder) to easily see students work and progress in a KLA 3) I can give students verbal and/or written feedback on their work. 4) I can mark homework on the train 😍😍😍 no more lugging homework books to and from school.

Really Good!. I am only 10 Years old and me and my class use it for lots of work! Its really easy to explain your work from using drawings to using text boxes to voice recording, you can even use voice record when your writing a message to someone about your or their post, it’s very efficient, and I encourage lots of Primary Schools to use SeeSaw!

Not great for admin/feedback. After coming from the world of Teams and OneNote, I’m finding the overall lack of cataloguing and file and folder management in Seesaw very frustrating. Having only a single folder to store activities, rather than folders in folders created a very cluttered storage space. Also when it comes to giving feedback and writing on student work, something that I do often in one note, the pen experience is almost on usable in how wobbly and messy the strokes become compared with every other note taking app on the App Store. The only reason I’m still using seesaw is because I’ve been forced to, if the cataloguing and administration functionality was improved significantly and the pen writing improved significantly I might actually somewhat want to use seesaw.

Fabulous!. As a teacher, I love Seesaw! It has all of the features I need to connect school and home (communicating with families and students, sharing each student’s learning journey with families & learning activities to complete at home or school). Recent updates still need a few wrinkles ironed out, particularly with messages. My biggest challenge is that messages are now tiny and very difficult to read using a phone.

Fantastic but in need of an update. I am in year 5 and almost in year 6. I have been using seesaw since the start of year 4 and it had been an excellent way to display our work and to just have a bit of fun. It has come to my attention many times that seesaw should have notifications when someone posts a post on seesaw. Otherwise this is a fantastic app and I 100% recommend it for any classroom. I hope this is included in a future update.

Literal dumpster fire. Oh my hecking god seesaw here’s a list of issues: your work doesn’t save when closing the app, you can’t have a video be more than five minutes, you can’t add pictures to notes, it takes a while for higher definition pictures to load, you get kicked from any class you were in at the end of the year, uploading videos for some reason takes up memory, there’s no cropping, you can’t paste photos, gifs don’t work and photos on slide one auto lock.

Hey I need help!!. So when my sister login in her account, now i can’t for no reason(my school is Cabramatta Public school) Now I had to re-download but at least I have seasaw :> Hey LoonyLuca do u not know how to edit text boxes and why are you being like that there is no problem about that if u dunt know it than ask the teacher to help online dum dum jeez

Amazing app. Every feature that seesaw has is he best and also we can use different types of materials. The 1 complaint is if you accidentally delete your work you should have a deleted folder and put it up again.

See saw feed back-. Half the time in homeschooling when I need to take a photo of my work it glitches and my screen is completely blank and white. So, I have to get rid of the tab of see saw then go back into the app, and my photo will be there. Right now I’m talk j g pictures but I have to deal with seesaw doing this. But overall seesaw is a good app but there are some glitches and things you need to fix up. Thanks. :)

My review. It’s alright however there are a few things that aren’t the best that I’ve discovered. First off it is extremely glitchy and makes it very hard to do my work. Secondly you can only make videos under 5 minutes which makes it quite difficult when we are doing science experiments or anything really. Thirdly it’s very slow. Seesaw takes about 20 minutes to load sometimes and that’s not exaggerating. All in all pretty good app just needs a few updates thanks for your time :)

Seesaw Is The Best. I like seesaw because my friends my teacher and Mum and dad can see what work I have done in class because I am forgetful so on seesaw my teacher tells in the comments what the work is all about. SEESAW IS THE BEST!!!!! Some people may think that seesaw is a waste of time in your day but I think that is a great app to use especially when you are vey forgetfull and you don’t come home and tell your parents about your day because you completely forget about your day at school. So when you post something on seesaw your teacher will approve your work and then say down in the comments what is is all abot what you are learning about in class. SO THATS WHY I GIVE SEESAW FIVE STARS OF RATING.

Seesaw. I would have been lost without Seesaw during remote learning. I bought a subscription and now that I access all the features I don’t think I can go back to basic. My only complaint is the cost in AUD.

Few bugs and annoying glitches..... Seesaw is great overall, but there is 1 thing I wanted to get fixed. At the moment it is running fine , but at some point this bug messes up my learning. It’s like this, So when I am doing an activity and needed to check something real quick. For example, google chrome. I leave the app for only a second and go back, then the app restarts and I loose all my work that I done on the activity. It is quite infuriating.... I hope that this certain bug gets fixed. (Also maybe add that pop up where you can go back on your unfinished work like you would see on the Mac and Pc versions...) Other than that seesaw is legit amazing!

Pretty good but have bugs. I’ve been using seesaw since year 3 none of this has happened u until now 2 years later It has bugs whenever I try to add text it just deletes the screen goes black comes back then I try to add it again black screen comes it’s really bothering me especially because I already hate that subject and the bugs also come on it so Please fix it! Overall it is a great app (though I hate school) for parents to see ur learning during school hours or at home during online school And perfect for teachers to edit there students work Comment what’s gone wrong how good they did And all that stuff But please fix the bugs

Disappointing changes. Returning to Remote Learning in Melbourne, Australia meant we upgraded our Seesaw free subscription to a School subscription. Unfortunately we are extremely disappointed as Seesaw have changed the video upload length from 10 minutes to 5 minutes. This has caused much angst for our teachers who are trying to record explicit mini lessons, as well as for our students and parents who now only have access to 5 minute instructions. Our staff who are uploading up to 5 video lessons a day are very frustrated with the changes. I can’t reiterate how disappointed and frustrated we are with the changes. We really hope Seesaw can take on this feedback and the engineering team can change the video upload time back to 10 minutes.

Its great but..... Hello this app is great for the ipad and iphone and computer But i think if you are going to get it on a Ipad or a phone you should try to update every time you can because it has some bugs if you dont update it every so often also its so easy to edit my school work and you can make it really pretty ♥︎♥︎♥︎

I love it. I love seesaw for school and i think it makes teachers and students Easy to learn and all but I don't really like that the update is glitchy and like when you are wanting to look at students wow folder or stuff the name lines are very glitchy I don't have the new update so I don't have to worry about it but my classmates keep getting frustrated and ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ᵐᵃʸᵇᵉ you could make it better a bit it would be great if you did over all it is great. : ) ✰✰✰✰◡̈ᵕ̈ꕥ✮✡︎✥▹⊿☯︎

Cannot access Teacher account and my Children’s account at the same time!. Since the update, I am no longer able to access my teacher account & my children’s account at the same time. I am now forever logging in and out of the app m!! I have to login in so I can upload work/notes for my students and then log out and log into my own children’s account so I can access their class information. Before I could have them both available at the same time - Very frustrating!!!!!!

Seesaw Rocks!!. Wow- what can I say.... Thanks to Seesaw I’m able to connect with families and students with ease. Such a great app with purposeful elements that foster relationships while also allowing for consistency and continuity of learning while away from school. The activity library is fantastic and has inspired me to make my own resources! Can’t recommend it highly enough!! Well done Seesaw crew!

It fine. It’s good,, but there’s some glitches and also you should be able to leave classes because sometimes you need to And also you should be able to make a new student account without needing a code Not recommended that much, also if you just want to make a grou p With you friends, don’t use it. I know it isn’t the main purpose of this app,but pls

Seesaw. Seesaw is the best invention and easiest way to communicate to families in our child care centre. Families enjoy it and think it is wonderful and it is very convenient. kinder Kollege child care centre Kindersley, Saskatchewan.

bad. when i change something it will get out of the app and delete my work

Notifications. Can’t turn off email notifications, the setting doesn’t do anything.

Seesaw. As a teacher I would really love the app if you could edit the students work and then approve it right away without having to go back into the feed. Also it would be nice if you could group all the assignments in the feed when you are looking through so you could get marks easier.

The app is designed to not identify gender? Not cool.. The app is designed to not identify gender? Not cool.

DO NOT TRUST. I was either hacked or the app developers thought it was funny to message peers inappropriate posts and words using MY account. Please DO NOT get this!

Good. I rlly enjoy this app. It is a good way to communicate with families about their children through the day and send pictures and videos BUT it can be complicated at times and finding what u need is not always the easiest. Sometimes u have to jump around in the app to try and find what u need

Best app ever. This app is so bad that when i touch the screen it goes to the home screen thanks whoever made this app so much

Not able to see my son's progress. This has to be one of the most frustrating apps I've ever used. Everything was fine last year I was able to see my son's progress. However with the new updates I'm unable to see anything in his classroom or anything in general. Do not download this app, unless you want a headache!

Yes. This is so nostalgic lol

seesaw. this app is terrible ! i don’t recommend it to anyone !

Efficient. Super practical and easy app for teacher. I absolutely recommend it.

Not so great. I can’t get in because I did the QR code and didn’t work

Changes to messenger are terrible. Recent changes to messaging are terrible. Not user friendly at all and hard to find who you are sending messages too. Way better the old way!

Where did it go???. Since update yesterday I can’t use it just a blank white screen

No functionality for multiple classes or multiple children in the same household. Log off and sign in with code is required for different classes and different students I the same home. With 3 children from the same K-6 school during COVID, the 9digit login needs to be facilitated by an adult every time the child use case changes. This prevents the children from being autonomous and independent. I’ve got post it notes with their codes on the wall. Annoying. Also no functionality or feature for parent-teacher messaging.

No longer a great tool. I would have recommended this to anyone in education but since the update my blood pressure has significantly risen. Error messages and crashing pages galore. So sad, it was such a fantastic way to connect the classroom with home.

Amalgamated app is worse. Before when seesaw had the family and class apps separated things functioned very well. Now the full amalgamation just makes everything harder to work with. Swapping between accounts for parent and each individual student is the most frustrating thing in the world. Having to assist children with homework is already a nuisance. Is it an exercise to let the child learn or an exercise to test if the family has the time to support the child with an iPhone app? If I could I would delete this.

This sucks it’s not good for math. It sucks for sure

STUPID. THIS IS SO HARD I HAVE TI DO THIS 24/7 AND I CAN’T COMPLETE A SINGLE QUESTION EVEN ONE QUESTON

Great tool… but what about french?. I looove this tool. Is is complete, simple and fun for my students. The only thing, is that this year, I teach french as a second language. Using this app, in english, would be controversial. Are you working on a french option? I would also suggest the option to translate the messages in many languages, so parents from an other country can understand. 😉

Classes. App is okay but I wish I could have access to all of my classes at once. Instead i have to sign out each time to sign into a different class. Stupid👎🏼

Just bad.. Stupidest app I’ve ever used for a long time.

Don’t like the new update. I don’t like the purple it’s not set up in a nice way it feels like it’s more.

Good software for animating !. There are just 2 tools they missed… ..fill and eyedropper !

Stupid!!!👿👿👿. Glitches pictures smaller or bigger every time I touch the screen lock but still happens, also need to wait 1 hour to load or post your work even that the network connection is super good and very stable. And I can’t listen to some of my teacher’s feedback voice comments so a lot of my work has to be on draft, unless it is not a voice comment. It is good on the fact that you can post your work online so you can do homework during COVID 19 , but it wastes a lot of time. So I wouldn’t recommend it.

Mixed feelings. I’ve always loved Seesaw. However, this year both of my childrens teacher's have us using Seesaw class and I’m not thrilled about it. Unlike Seesaw Family, you can only have 1 account logged in. I have to log in and out using the codes everytime. One teacher could be messaging me and if I’m not logged into that specific account, I have no idea.

Ces trop Nice. Tfjghjkhgyigoygioygioygioh

Mise à jour. Depuis la dernière mise à jour, l’application ne fonctionne pas bien: code d’erreur 429. Je suis très déçue et je cherche une autre application similaire.

Seasaw. This app is terrible I don’t think anyone should waste there time on it

Crashes. Continually crashes while my son is trying to do work. So frustrating!

Vincent gariepy. JE AIME PAS😡😡

The worse app ever😏. I hate this app it need to be a deleted because it gives me madness because if this app it ew today it give me bad anxiety because I have to do gym😒😡

Avis. En français ce serait parfait! 👌🏽

Fix it. It worked great for a day. Here are my issues: - The messaging system stopped working. Can’t read or send any messages. - Pictures are hard to view, zooming in cuts them off. We should be able to click and download. Unreliable and disappointing.

Needs ability to zoom images. Our teachers send images of work for the student but the app doesn’t not allow you to zoom in so you can see the image larger or more clearly. That just seems basic and this app doesn’t do it.

Meh. Meh 🤷‍♀️

App Crashes Contonuously. Whenever adding pictures to a journal the app crashes. Couldn’t add more than 3 photos to the same post.

Horrible update. The new update is terrible, when you reply under the “comment” section, the UX is less intuitive than before. It is less user friendly.

Who made this. It’s so bad I can’t believe people like this it’s just bad I had to do it and it sucks crap

Sending a message to a selected number of parents.. It’s a good app. You can do pretty much a lot with it in class. The only thing I do not find appealing is that you cannot select more than one parent to send a message to. You have to do each separately unless you send to everyone.

Commentaire.

iPhone -Mobile app. The mobile app is so useless fore both parents and students, navigation is hard and I am unable to see the work posted for my son on either versions from my phone……

Notification issues. I usually love this app but lately i haven’t been receiving notifications when i have a message from parents which is the main reason i use it. I still receive an email but nothing that would immediately catch my attention. Are usually

Bon. C’est vraiment bon

I hate it because its literally ruining fun at home. I hate this app because it makes you do homework in quarantine

Great app. I’ve been using this app for at least 6 years as a teacher. It has everything we need - I can create, assign and schedule activities, organize student work into folders, students can create or upload their own work, parents and I can message (for those who say this is missing - the has not enabled it!), I can comment and provide feedback, parents can also see and comment on their children’s work. I can create skills and assign marks or make private notes. Now with the progress feature I can easily see what each student has submitted, is owing, and what is in draft. I also love all the tools included for their portfolio work - drawing, notes writing, upload docs and pdfs, camera, video, voice recording. Such a versatile comprehensive app!

A great tool for teachers and parents. Like social media with much more privacy. We can share notes, photos and stories about the students days with parents. They get notice immediately on their app on their phone

Fix the app!. As a parent who has a child in elementary school it is ridiculous and a complete waste of time to constantly have to log out and then back in to toggle back and forth between Class and Family. This upgrade is garbage.

I wish the notifications turned off when I viewed the assignment!. If you don’t like red notifications you may be annoyed by them and the fact they don’t turn off unless you upload something for each assignment. In the days of “optional participation” we didn’t do every activity and it won’t let me forget it. Secondly, it was very confusing to have the same app look but with different versions for families and students. I was really confused until the teacher helped me understand that there are different versions.

Love it!!. My first grade peer had been telling me about SeeSaw for a couple of years. However, I’m not the most proficient person with technology so I didn’t want to learn another platform. Well, then Corona hit and we needed something to assign virtually that would meld with our teaching focus. Here’s where SeeSaw became our go-to website for interactive instructional resources!! It is so easy to use that even I can manage it with ease. I would absolutely recommend it. In fact, I already have to a peer at another school.

Perfect, except for one thing... I love this app! I use it daily to communicate with the family of a special needs student. It also helps me document what she is doing in real time, allowing me to take pictures of her working within the classroom and during social activities. The students uses the note tool to write to her parents about her day... it's wonderful. My only issue is that parents can not post themselves- I would like be for them to be able post pictures from home so we can use them as talking points for the student.

An extraordinary App in Extra Ordinary Times!!!! ☺️🙌. Through this app, I have been able to present our District Adopted Curriculum and I have not skipped a beat from when we were In-Person using our physical workbooks. I really love the built in features to any assignment we choose to create. The markers, pens, pencils, text box, microphone for audio recording, the camera for pictures and/or video recording. Google slides but better for primary grades!!! Henry Moreno Brawley, CA

I love it, but..... I love everything about seesaw, but I wish there was a way to invite families by plugging in their phone numbers. I have families who do not check their child’s folders/backpacks or emails regularly or at all BUT I’ve never had a parent that doesn’t have a cell phone. They are more likely to connect if I could send a message or link to help them connect to their child’s journal via text message!!

Managing videos is terrible. This app is really fantastic, but the video mode is terrible! There is no short fast forwards, and it’s EXTREMELY difficult to pause and unpause. Most of the time if you touch the screen when a video is playing it thinks it’s a swipe and moves to the next page. This causes you to have to restart your video and the slider isn’t very sensitive so it’s really hard to get back to the same spot. It’s very frustrating to rewatch everything again or while trying to find the spot to have it constantly reset to a new page.

Best app ever! I seriously think this is my new fave! Do the other ladies agree with me?! ;-). I love this app. My students have had such a great time. There are so many activities for them to do. I love the teacher community. I love how you can communicate with other teachers. My students have a great time playing with all the buttons getting used to the app and also the activities. I think this might be my new favorite app to teach!

2 apps. I am a private tutor. I use this app multiple times a day with all of my students. There are so many features that I like about this app. It has been a great way to go paperless and to communicate with my parents. I have the parents post videos and pictures of the homework I assign. In order to do this they have to download the class app and the family app. There needs to be a way to integrate all of this into one app. Having two apps makes the first week of setup really confusing for parents. It would be much more convenient if all of the features were combined into one app.

Great classroom tool!. With a class with different levels an needs I’m able to track each students progress by having them record what they’re doing as they rotate to each station. Parents are able to view their work. It’s so great! I also use it to communicate with my parents and they also love it and are able to post pictures that I can view.

It’s OKAY.. I have used this app in school a couple of times, but there are multiple problems. The first thing I want to say is that the drawing feature is HORRIBLE. Doesn’t matter the device. Half the time it scribbles in the opposite direction I make it go. It takes a really long time to load anything, even with a good laptop. Also, if you don’t do this in school, there is no reason to have it, and I haven’t seen any other school other than mine use this in like 3 years. It’s an okay app. I think 2-3 stars is fair.

Seesaw is great!. I love using seesaw (since I’m in elementary school) is let’s me show my work to my teachers and they can comment if I made a mistake on my work or if I did a good job. Seesaw can also let you draft your work if you need to keep working on it so yeah. It’s also really good for virtual learning cause since the pandemic started I’ve been using seesaw to show my work to my teachers so yeah, that’s all I have to say stay safe and byeeeee.

Needs to have sound as an option for notifications. Seesaw has been a great tool for me to use in my classroom but I have one major complaint. We are using the communication part as our SOLE tool for talking to parents but I often miss important messages because there is no sound notification if they send me one. The banner notifications disappear if not checked right away so I am not aware that parents have messaged me. Please add sound as an option for notifications!!!!

Great app! Highly recommended. I just wish the date is display in main page, like it did before the updates. It was easy to spot the date of the activity. We were able to identify how old the activity was uploaded by the teacher, right ay glance. Despite this, I love this application. It’s a great tool to keep students and teachers communicated. During quarantine seesaw class still plays a major role in teaching students!! AMAZING !! Thanks for this app 🙌🏻

Outstanding app for learning and communicating. This is a an outstanding app! I use it in my classroom everyday. My students are able to video and take pics and explain their thinking and post it so their family and friends can see it. However, all posts are only approved by the teacher first. It’s just a giant addition to the curriculum. It makes learning fun and you get to see/hear the kids learning.

Please add. I LOVE seesaw but there is one big problem for me. I am a specials teacher and have 29 classes. I would love a dashboard function and to be able to make changes to multiple classroom pages at one time. I would also like there to be a way to see different notifications for parent correspondence through inbox, students tour information work in, and comments. This would help me prioritize my work.

Seesaw for Gifted. I use Seesaw for my Gifted students every week and my parents love the communication of the student progress. Students have one to one access to Chrome books and I also have a limited amount of iPads for student use as well. Both devices allow easy sharing through the app. Wonderful tool for high ability students to express their skills. Thanks for a wonderful app. Todd S. Elementary Gifted

Great App. I Love this app!! It’s so user friendly. The only reason I didn’t give it 5stars is because I wish there was a way to do a few additional things especially for virtual learning. For instance, I would love things in the activities to lock and not resize when the kids move it. I would also love to be able to have it be interactive like when doing Zoom. I would love for the kids to be able to move the items in the activities of I give them control.

Very great and easy to use!. We have been using this app in my class for a long time and it is really good! The only thing I am concerned with is when my teacher schedules an assignment for a certain date, it doesn’t pop up as a notification and you have to refresh the page to see it. That is the only thing that is stopping it from being perfect.

3 Suggestions for the Family Announcement Feature. 1.Would love to see a feature where you can message all family members of one child, like a group message. Right now you have to copy and paste your private message to each of the child’s family members. 2.Would also love if you can have more than one attachment in a family announcement. 3.Last would love if you have a draft format when posting an announcement so you don’t accidentally lose your post before sending.

My number 1 favorite education app!. I’m a dual language teacher and Seesaw is the best app! The ability to post videos, pictures, documents makes it so user friendly! Additionally being able to share with family’s and school community also allows you to go public! For language learners this is essential as it provides a channel to practice language ! On top of that you have their activity library which is full of treasures!

I LOVE SEESAW! (But just one suggestion....). I love seesaw! Great for school! As a student, and during quarantine, I have used this app and I feel like I am right at school. My favorite part is the like/heart button. I can also comment which is neat. The one thing I wish they had was a “like all posts” button. So when I need to catch up liking all my classmates posts, I always have to swipe A LOT to like my classmates post. If they had that button, I would feel like seesaw was completed to me. Thank you seesaw!

Distance Learning. Seesaw has been a great platform for distance learning. I honestly do not know what we would do without it. I enjoy seeing students work and having the ability to see and hear them all while I am sitting at home in my office. The only add on I would appreciate is the ability to post a picture in the comments under student work. It would help students better understand and help teachers pinpoint the areas where a student is struggling.

Just awesome!. With the pandemic this is the only app I used, and my rate is five stars. It’s just awesome how creators had an idea! It’s perfect for kids especially now. And it has many tools that are useful: THE PEN, THE PENCIL, THE HIGHLIGHTER, THE ERASER, THE GLOWING PEN. It is the best app for education that I have used. It’s great for me and I am in 4th Grade. I am just 10 years old but I know this app is the best app. Thank you very much for reading and thank you creators for the best app for education!

Great tool for families & teachers!. My students families and I have been benefiting from the Seesaw app for 4+ years. For teachers, we can maximize its use as a documentation piece, connect with families and for important reminders. For families, you can get a glimpse of your child’s school day, refer back to the pictures over the year and use it as an additional means of communication with your child’s teacher. I highly recommend Seesaw! P.S. make sure you have parents sign a permission slip prior to posting any photos of any child.

Great student engagement. The engagement of my kindergarten students is considerably better than last Spring. I believe this can be attributed to changing to Seesaw. The families appreciate the ease of use. I appreciate the contribution of activities in the Community Library as well as out District Library. I have customized activities to meet the needs of my classroom too. I have learned so much about Seesaw since COVID. In the future, I intend to use it in the classroom setting.

Greatest resource yet!!!. One of the best resources I have ever used!!! If you believe it takes a village to support our kids, Seesaw will be a blessing. Students are engaged and motivated, parents are excited and encouraged, and as a teacher It helps with quick checks and knowing how confident students are with the skills being taught. The best part.... you can check it at any time and anywhere. Thank you for such a wonderful program❤️

Best thing to hit my classroom!. I have had to have unexpected surgery and to be out of the classroom for a few weeks. It was not something I looked forward to! Through the use of SeeSaw, I have been able to view my kids’ work, send messages to them individually and whole class to be shown on Apple TV! I have stayed connected and it has made a crummy situation an ok thing! Best thing I ever implemented in my classroom!

Unacceptable!. Firstly, I cannot lock anything, and boxes of texts and images always move around when I am doing my homework, completing activities etc. Secondly, I cannot select specific places to edit a box of text and it is extremely aggravating! 90% of the time you have that one little typo, and I must delete all my text to reach that error, and type everything all over again! Lastly, random glitches happen when I try to open this application. Please make a change to these errors.

Amazing Communication tool!. This is so easy to use for both teachers and students. It has greatly improved my communication with parents. It also allows for immediate student feedback and accountability. The app features are very easy to navigate and my students can upload independently. I have received positive feedback from all of my families and they enjoy the open communication as well as the access to their child’s learning.

Nice platform. I like the platform but suggestions for improvements would be to allow teachers to assign assignments to specific students, allow virtual learning like video calling each kid for 1-1 guidance, having a Dropbox for each kid instead of just posting the work on the wall, adding educational games, updating or adding to the shared teachers' library, color coding inbox/assigned assignments by due dates to help parents stay on track, and allow adding word files instead of being limited to adding a PDF.

NO. This is bad I am a teacher and my students can’t delete the things I want you guys to put a delete option because my students sometimes need to do and they accidentally posted something wrong and you guys are probably gonna say press the edit button no we need a delete button because if you press plus the green circle and you submit its bad because you can’t delete that either and what if they took a video but then said they wanna photo you can’t do it and if you guys can I want you to tell me now because so I can alert my students. on a message you can call me a karen but just do it now

Horrible, worst communication to get!. When I first saw this app, I thought it was fun! But actually, it was a garbage, horrible, horrendous app with the worst materials and writing items! When I use whatever they have, it does not load! And, I kept getting a white screen! Literally none of my teachers can believe that! Horrible, don't get if you don't want you kid to get furious for how weird and terrible this is! But, overall, I give this out of ten, a 2, because sometimes it loads, but this is garbage still! Out of five, I would give this a BAD ranking, a 0.001, possibly the worst ranking ever for a Literal SCHOOL APP! That is bonkers! Don't get, I mean it!

So annoying 😡. When my teacher says that I need to redo a work and I do it and then my teacher looks at it she says “you did not change any thing” and it DOSE NOT SAVE😡😡😡 so I keep doing it over and over but it never changes. so what I am trying to say is I want it to save but also get better because it is hard to find work to fix or to correct and I am so mad at this app and also my classmates agree with me and others. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😠😡😠😡😠😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😠😠😠😠😡😠😠😠😡😠😠😡😠😠😡😠😡😡😠😡😠😡😠😡😠😡😠😡😠😡😠😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😠😡😠😡😠😡😡😠😡😠😡😠😡😠😡😠😡😡😠😡😡😡😡😡😠😡😠😡😠😡😠😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😠😡😠😒

The record feature is messed up. I am a teacher and I used seesaw in the spring as well. Generally, I like it. But I am having an issue that I have gone round and round with seesaw support about. They cannot help. When I go to record on top of a worksheet in the drawing feature the video is oddly laid on top of the photo and it does not allow you to make drawings when paused. When you pause the recording and then continue it has a weird glitch in the play back for kids where you can’t see the full lessons and it jumps to the end of the video for a second. Please fix.

New update is beyond disappointing. I had used and absolutely loved Seesaw as a teacher for years until the newest update came out and made everything about it ridiculously difficult to start this school year. What used to be an incredibly user friendly and intuitive app is now a nightmare to navigate. Everything from trying to print parent QR codes, to the new messaging system, to even uploading pictures has been absurdly difficult or downright impossible. All of the teachers I know cannot stand the changes! I’m ready to ditch Seesaw completely for next year if the app remains as it is currently.

Good app. I think that seesaw that is amazing app because kids can show the parents what they did when they finish the all of their work. Kids don't have to take the work home they can just take a snapshot and their parents will see it. My class is doing it and everyone loves it when we finish our work we love to grab a computer and take snapshots of good work everyone really loves it and I think others should get it too.

Amazing. Amazing app that allows students to be in charge of their own education. Love that they can add the pieces of evidence that show their learning and that they have the power to track their own growth. Hopes for the future: that I could send private messages to my students that their parents couldn’t see. Reminders, etc. Also would like to post straight to the blog without it having to be a journal entry. Or that I could have my own student account to post just to mine and then add it to the blog.

Wonderful reflective tool for documentation. As a homeschool parent, I am loving this app. It’s perfect for our child-led Reggio Emilia Inspired Homeschool. I use it to document our learning journey and process. It’s a great tool for pedagogical documentation and reflection. We use it to revisit our ideas as well and dive deeper into concepts and ideas. A visual journal and online keepsake I hope to use for years to come. I appreciate all the features available to document and record learning.

Just one thing.. I’m a teacher who teaches kindergarten, and the class is learning to write. They have to write one of their favorite words, Tell me about it, and post it on seesaw. And I think it would be awesome if you could put word suggestions on the keyboard, So the kids know exactly how to write their favorite words. Oh and also I love the dramoton and voodoo developer’s games. Not that it matters right now. But please do this upgrade to the keyboard. It would really help the class.😊🐬

Digital Learning Made Easy. SeeSaw helped take away the anxiety that came along with this school year. My scholars are adjusting well with online learning because of the user friendly features. The ability for them to use voice recordings, take photos, type text and draw in for their answers has made virtual learning fun for them.

Great for me and my class. Hi, I love this app because it helps me learn and my teachers 👩‍🏫 get to assign me new work every day it keeps me active and educated. And I hope you will download it, PLEASE YOU WILL HAVE SO MUCH FUN! It is really good for distance learning because of what’s happening right now, but it’s still a really good app so good job 👏, so now you know if you read the reviews this is a 5 star app so please download it! You won’t regret it at all! This is coming from a little girl ya know! Not no parent!

Parents love it for SLP updates. I first tried Seesaw with a select group of students and quickly expanded to my whole caseload. I surveyed parents and 90% gave it 5 stars and the few others gave it 4. I’ve had a lot of positive feedback from parents in passing and at meetings, and it’s more confidential than the FB groups the classrooms have. The only thing I wish I could change is to easily track who I haven’t posted for recently without needing to go through each kid individually.

Annoying. I like how easy it is for schoolwork, but there are some problems. Number one, those annoying red dots pressuring you about assignments that don’t go away even if you’ve already done all the assignments from that class. Number two, I have been woken up in the middle of the night from seesaw giving me a notification about a new assignment when it’s just a teacher accepting my work! I love how easy this is and it’s so much better after my school switched over from google classroom but these problems NEED to be fixed.

Perfect for class. Hi everybody this is seesaw if you’re wondering what seesawThis is I Seesaw it’s usually for class and stuff and your teachers this is for Giesinger Elementary I’m one of the students of geese in elementary I am in second grade are so in seesaw and you can do things that’s the teachers always tell you what to do sooner you’ll go back to school until the virus will be gone so get ready and let’s go😌 if people say it’s bad it’s not it’s important so guys please say it’s not bad or else your parents might get pretty 😡

Love it, just wish uploading wasn’t so slow. Amazing, amazing!! Absolutely love this app!! It takes a long time for students to upload their work (despite having high speed internet). If the iPad goes to sleep while processing (yes, it takes that long at times) the app will freeze and child will loose their hard work, so be sure too tell your students to keep it awake and sit with iPad until it’s been uploaded successfully. Overall, wonderful app!

New update is worthless. This went from being my favorite way of communicating with parents to the worst in one update - Messaging. Why fix something that wasn't broken? Why are we making it harder for parents to communicate back to us by trying to search for dots with a hidden menu when simply replying is easier for all? In the day and age of open communication between schools and families, this update ain't it. Seesaw - check out the reviews since you've added the changed messaging features. Your users don't like it. Please fix it.

Making my teacher happy. Ok so I’ve had this for a whole entire year and In my suggestion my teacher loves how I always learn on this app every single day so I think you should download this app for five years old and up 🆙 and start making your kid learn about shapes colors reading math you name it it only glitches very rarely and it’s a great source of being a genius and becoming a grownup and having a better future

Amazing online journal. Seesaw is an amazing tool for students to show what they are learning. Students can add pictures, drawings, labels and videos explaining what they are learning. All student posts can be organized into folders or by student. Teachers can easily differentiate with Seesaw because you can post an assignment or leveled text to selected students. Can be used for any grade level and subject. Parents can connect to their child’s journal and view. Seesaw should be used in all classrooms.

Mix Bag. See Saw is great with the activities. I love the community part of the site. There is plenty of activities to choose from. The assignments are easier to add and check. What I don’t like is the communication with parents. I can’t see you is connected and how do I send a message to a particular parent. Part of the problem is the lack of training that I received.

Keep in touch with parents. I use seesaw in the most basic way to post photos and short blurbs about what is happening in my art classroom. It saves everyone time and pain. Parents don’t want to read paragraphs they want to see their smiling kids with their projects. This gives them a great jumping off point for more meaningful discussions at home. Secure. Fast. Easy.
