Used to be great. I have loved this app for years, then it quit working a week ago. I have sent them 3 notices and no reply yet. No content available for 7 straight days, and this is not the first time it has happened. Not a good sign. August 2022 update: the app quit working several times in the last few months, sometimes going weeks before any content was available. No response and no customer support. Nobody home, ever. I will not renew. Sad.

One question, how do I do a search? Helps us focus on what’s most important. I love this app, it has a daily reminder which I love because days can get get busy and before I know it the day is over so the reminder is great to help me and my children take a few minutes to focus on what’s most important. The only thing I can’t figure out is if there’s a way to search for a subject I want to go back to instead of going back day by day to find it?

I love this app. I look forward to enjoying it as part of my daily happy time. The themes and topics are well selected for the events appearing on the calendar. This app Offers a sweet taste of positive thoughts and inspiring scriptures at a time when the world has become so negative.

Living with purpose!. This is amazing app that change my life, I am from Peru. I’ve using for almost five years and I wake up every day and it’s one of the first things that I do every day and I found a lot of new experiences thanks to that, I consider this the scripture of the day. I have more in mind how to improve and envision the app for living more with a purpose. I am now living in Utah.

Third time this year it’s crashed.. I love this app when it actually works but it’s the third time this year it’s been “unavailable” now. It’s been down. For 4 days. I write to to developer and leave am leaving this review. I’ve sent messages to the App Store so other people won’t spend money on this app and get used to using only to have it fail. I’ve done the Wi-Fi checks and modem resets and even used only cellular network. It still is not available.

Love this app. I don't buy many apps but this one was well worth the small price. Every day offers a theme with a scripture verse, a quote from general conference, a hymn, and a short (1-5 min) video all on the same topic. I really look forward to this every day and I think it would be great for family scripture study. It can be difficult to get the entire family time for scripture study, especially in the mornings, but this is just perfect.

Marvelous. This is my first time writing a review on an app and I definitely recommend this to anyone either active or not. It has truly helped me grow more closer to my Heavenly Father and made my marriage more stronger and helped me become more in tune with the spirit at all times. It has definitely given me more insights and what I needed to hear on any particular issue I have gone through. I'm grateful for this app for helping me get back into the basics and be a good person well rounded :)!!!!

Yet again, Daily Verse is not working!. I’m getting the message that I need to connect to WiFi or update to the newest version! I am connected to WiFi and I have updated to the newest version. I have been getting this message since April 19th. This is has happened so many times before! I know you will fix it and I also know it will happen again. I have put up with this for several years now because I love Daily Verse, but clearly this problem will continue! I’ve been trying to cancel my upcoming renewal in June, but you have made canceling Daily Verse pretty impossible, too! May I please get some help with this?

Well worth the cost. This is a great app. For a few dollars a year you can have 4 gospel messages a day. Three of the messages are text. The fourth is a video. They are a scripture, general conference talk and a hymn. The video is usually from general conference and it usually under 5 minutes. It would take some effort to do this all by yourself. This app does it all for you. Thank you.

I Like It When It Works…. I would love to give this app a 5 star rating, but after several occasions of getting error messages of: “Not Available- please connect to Wi-Fi or cellular data to download the days content. You may also need to update to the newest version of LDS Daily Verse. “ I’ve quit the app, I have restarted my device, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and still get this error. I’ve made several attempts to contact the developer to let them know and I also get a 500 “error” page. What’s a girl gotta do to get some help here? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Just Enough When Time Is Short. I’ve been using this app now for a few years. I really enjoy it. I found it when looking for a daily devotional. I appreciate the scripture, conference talk, and him for the day. I often read these to my children or husband. We have a game to see who can guess the quote and the scripture reference. this app is perfect in it’s simplicity and thought coordination. I find that the scripture references, talks, and Hims often give us jumping off points for discussions. I appreciate all this little app does for me and my family. Additionally, it is VoiceOver compatible.

Great way to start every day!. Love this app! I don't often pay for apps but this is worth it! Has helped me to get back into reading the scriptures. Love the themes each day that come with a conference talk and video. I find myself looking forward to this everyday! It inspires me and helps me to want to be better. Please fix one glitch. I absolutely love this app! It has simplified starting the day or ending the day on a scriptural note with my children. As others have said, it can spawn some pretty good discussions, as well. The only problem is that every one in awhile it just won’t open and the message says that I’m not connected to internet or that I need to update to the newest version (even though I AM already connected to the internet and my device IS already updated…) This has happened 3 different times and usually last for between 5-7 days… Other than that, thank you for a wonderful app that is worth the minimal yearly cost of $3.99-ha.

My app doesn’t work!. Periodically my app will only give me a notice that Wi-Fi isn’t available. I have checked everything possible on my iPhone 11 and couldn’t find any problem at all!

Has improved our family prayers. This app has really helped our family have more meaningful scripture study and family prayer. We have five boys, so this time of night has always been hard. Because each day has a scripture, quote, song, and video, it helps keep the kids engaged and promotes more thoughtful conversation.

Repetitive talks. I love daily verse, I have had it for several years. My only complaint is the same talks come up several times. I listen to them on the way to work. Which I do enjoy listening to the same talks. But there's some that I've been on there so many times I almost know them by heart.

Very Good and Worth It. I love t because it is quick and fast and I can save all my favorites at the time. You can look back and see your favorites even change over time as one matures or understands more in the Gospel. Plus, it keeps me in touch with a daily counsel from a general authority!

The app is not functional. This app is a really good idea, BUT it doesn’t do anything. There are no quotes or anything that is listed in the description. It says I need to be connected to the internet to view content, but I’ve checked settings on the app and on my phone and it should be working. All the other apps on my phone are working and settings are the same. I’ve emailed the developers and they have not responded to help me figure out the issue.

Not downloading current content. Having trouble with the app lately, since December 25,2021. It will not download the content and I’ve tried everything. Even tried to send a message to the developer and got an error message. Over in instated and redid it. Restarted my phone. Nothing is helping so i am disappointed. I love this app and use it daily,

Where’d the Apple Watch version go?. I love this App!! It is a great reminder to read my scriptures! The only downside is that this app used to have an Apple Watch version and now it doesn’t seem to exist. Where’d it go? It was really convenient for when I am in a place that I couldn’t get to my phone. I would love it if they could get that back! Other than that, it’s a great app!

Help! Love it- but has a bug, maybe. I have loved this app; however, lately it has lost its graphics and is text only. Not what I signed up for. I love the infoAND graphics. Tried to contact makers, but unable to do so. Can’t see if I might have hit a button I wasn’t supposed to.

A very pleased reviewer. I love this app. Every morning, I have set the reminder for 10:00 am exactly. I love to read and try to and to watch all 4 parts of daily verse. Really truly helps me to feel better, and to do as what I believe as in receive some kind of reassurance for the day. Love it.

Makes scripture study doable for this broken family. My children (& I) are going through a very rough time, dealing with divorce & split custody with their father who fell away from the church. This app was helpful for making family scripture happen before, but now it’s invaluable. No matter how crazy the day is, whether we’re on vacation, getting to bed late, or it’s just a normal day, it’s simple enough using this app to at least read a scripture together. My kids especially love the videos, but if we’re extremely rushed, we’ll skip the song & video. Many times the topic of the day is so fitting for what we’re going through & just what we need that day. When the kids are with their dad, they have the app on a device they keep with them & have their own little scripture time together as siblings. Love the reminders to read, ability to go back to previous days whenever we want, the low price, & easily accessible/shareable format. Grateful for this app. We bought it twice to have on 2 different devices.

Worth getting. I really appreciate the option to set reminders to check this app each day. I also really like how there are a few different messages on the same topic. Often I will listen to the full talk that was referenced and that's been really nice. Also, it's seemed that many messages were timed just perfectly for things I needed to read that particular day. At first I was iffy on spending money for a gospel app, but when I consider the thought and effort that goes into each day's message I realize it's definitely worth it. You won't go wrong getting this app. In fact, you may just find that you become more diligent about your scripture reading if you have it. I did.

I love this when it works. I have subscribed for years and not until this year have I had a problem. Too frequently I receive a message indicating that I am not connected to the internet. It would be OK if it were true but I am connected. Please help as this app has become a habit I do not wish to break.

NOT Reliable, NO Support. I have paid for LDS Daily Verse more than one time. It works for a few days and then completely stops working and gives an error message saying I’m not connected to wifi or cell signal, yet I’m connected to both. They do not answer requests for support, and their Request Support link in the App Store returns a server error when try to submit a request for service from the developer. Don’t waste your money on LDS Daily Verse, you’ll get nothing for your expenditure. You would think people selling apps for religious purposes would have scruples. Think again.

Love!! Makes Family Scripture Study a Breeze!. This app is something that my husband and I had been trying to accomplish on our own during family scripture study every night. Now with Daily Verse it's perfect for our family! I love how there is a theme that goes with all 4 parts of the daily study sections. Also, there are hyperlinks to every talk, scripture, hymn and video! So, you can go as deep or as light as you want with studying and family discussion. We LOVE this app!!!

Grateful. This app has been the blessing of my being. I am thankful that I can look at it everyday and remind myself I am a daughter of our Heavenly Father. Before being baptized I never knew what it was like to live a fulfilled life, nor what blessings I could bestow upon others, especially my children. Thank you God for giving me my life. Bless all the young missionaries that stopped by to encourage me to read the Book of Mormon. Notwithstanding, thank you all for being and coming to church and loving me for who I am. Daily Verse. I love this app and share it with all my family and friends. It not only gives you a daily start to your scripture study but, it relates the scripture to a recent Conference talk, a song that uses that scripture but, best of all has a link to a related video. Good app… when it works.. I love this app… but it’s been unreliable lately. Says I’m not connected to the internet when in fact I am. Tried all the basic troubleshooting suggestions including uninstalling and reinstalling it. Tried sending emails to the developers twice and have never heard back. I hate rating it so low because I do love it… when it works. But considering we are paying for it… I expected better service.

Another foothold for a successful climb. For busy parents, bored singles, angry dads or exhausted mom's this app is perfect. I get two alarms daily one to wake me up with a great thought and one before bed to remind my tired mind to get the kids and share a moment together. It brings in the spirit of peace without the work of planning a lesson EVERYDAY!!! This has been the best app I've put on my phone in a long time and recommend it for anyone who is determined to keep climbing!

Ok App, poor service. The daily verse and the related links and multimedia are good. My Problem: The app features say that it works with family sharing. When i emailed the LDS Mobile Apps, they say sorry the app sometimes doesn’t share well with apple family sharing and ask if I’d like some promo codes to use to share a year subscription with my family. I reply yes please, and that we are a family of 5 so I’d need 5. It’s been 2-1/2 weeks and 2 more emails from me, but no response from developer customer service.

Love this app!. This app was great! I loved it. It gives a scripture & then a quote from a modern general authority that goes with the scripture and then a hymn and then a video. It's perfect for personal study or for a family devotional. It's perfect if you are pressed for time or if you want to study in more detail it provides links to the scriptures and talks etc... Highly recommend!

FIX THE ERRORS!. My daughter and I have been using this app for almost two years now and for the past week we have had an error message similar to ones people have gotten recently about needing to connect to wifi or cellular data or update the app… we are connected to wifi or cellular and we have also deleted and reinstalled the app to no avail. I have tried contacting the developer with no success to a response. We won’t be renewing our subscription after this issue since apparently the last update to the app was 10 months ago and we aren’t the only ones to have issues getting in touch with the developers lately either.

Please fix the glitch!. I really love to check the daily verse. It gives me a great comfort and also inspiration. However, I grow tired of the glitch. It mentions that I need to connect to WiFi which I already am. It says I need to update. How? So please fix it. I’m tempted to unsubscribe it. It is nice to have a cheap annual payment, but I don’t like to open the app and feel disappointed.

Stopped treceiving. I loved and rip put in t I his feature on my phone; however, suddenly to it wouldn’t open. It was the best part leasegure out how to make this a part of my le for me to begin my dayty t single life. i Fof my day and I depended on each and every le to walk againpart of it. Please I tried to figure out how to get it back. It said to check in the latest version which resulted in confusion and despair. Not what I wanted or expected. My attitude has been less of what I wanted to feel each and every day instead I am back to negative thoughts and down on myself. In October, I had a tragic fall which culminated in three MAJOR surgeries. Two of the surgeries have never been done on one person. I am writing this from my bed in a skilled nursing facility as I struggle to be able to walk again. No update. I paid for the next three years! The app is not working properly and I have not received any response from the developers for the last five days! Its like I paid for a rip off!!!!! I’ve been scammed.

Simple and quick. It’s literally a simple and quick way to get some scripture reading in and better understand from it. One verse, then a brief explanation, some song Lyrics (if you want to read them), and finally a short video explaining more about the verse but from another perspective. Pretty cool. It has helped me to get centered in the mornings. Grateful that God led me to this app.

What a life saver!. I use this app daily - not only for myself but as an early morning seminary teacher. I use this often for the devotionals that we have in class every morning. Each of the verses is very concise and gives both quotes from general authorities, hymns, and videos as supporting material. It's marvelous for a gospel teacher and for students. I recommend it highly!

Trouble Plus. The app quit working after July 15th 2022. Error message says not connected to the internet which it is. Trying everything they suggested and nothing worked . Tried to contact them and no response from them . Just renewed my yearly subscription in April and I’m sorry I did. The app when it works is great but no response from them is not acceptable when you have a problem.

App not working!. More often than not lately, the app will not open. It has a message stating that there is. It a connection to Wi-Fi or a cellular network. This current outage has lasted nearly 2 weeks. Despite deleting and reloading the app, no change. Also, no response from the developer this and other times this has happened. I don’t recommend purchasing at this time. I will not be renewing.

AWESOME LDS DAILY VERSE‼️. AWESOME LDS APP‼️ We read it every morning as it gives some spiritual messages to start the morning off right. It is like having a daily devotional right on our smart phone which strengthens our testimonies, knowledge of the gospel and increases our desires to be better and serve others. It is an. A daily spiritual boost, and it cost less than a Starbucks hot chocolate!. I love this app! I like to use it as a devotional with my sons in the morning, or as a quick scripture study at night when bedtime is running late and our family Book of Mormon has somehow grown legs and gone missing. Whenever someone in the family is struggling with something, somehow the theme for the day, or part of it, seems to bring comfort, or an answer that is needed. Some of the messages have touched my heart, and some have allowed me to touch others hearts when nothing else would. Thank you!

Take 5 Minutes per Daily Verse per day. A wise teacher suggested that everyone study Scriptures for 30 seconds every day. Knowing that if a daily reminder is given and if there was a good way to do it,the reading and study would be much longer than 30 seconds. LDS Daily Verse is a great tool to build consistency in individual study

A Blessing. It is wonderful, an opportunity everyday to ready a verse at a time. Read a few words from out spiritual leaders and be blessed by a video that helps us know how much our Heavenly Father loves us. Beautifully created!!

A must have!. Everyone needs this app. Even if you don't have much time, simply reading the daily inspiration from provided can make a word of difference. One suggestion: Most of the quotes I've read are from 2016-present. Is it possible for the daily quotes to be more diverse? (Example: Quotes from past prophets and apostles over the history of the church)

Can’t access app. I love this app. Since July 16 I have not been able to access it. I have tried with wifi. I have tried with cellular data. The app is up to date. I have uninstalled, and reinstalled. Still there is nothing. I have sent emails asking about it, and I have had no response. I have paid the subscription and it is good through January. I don’t ever complain about apps, but I love this one and would just like to continue using it. Please help fix this problem.

Goes great with breakfast :). I use this app every morning during breakfast with my two daughters. We start with the song and video so we can get a feel for what the scripture and quote are going to be about. Their favorite part is when I show them the photo of the person, and they have to guess what their name is. We love this app and highly recommend it. Customer service has been great too, which is an added bonus!

Daily verse not showing.. My app didn’t show content of daily verse since 22/06/19. It’s keeps loading and end up saying there is no internet connection even though my data still on. All other websites open up except my daily verse. Can you fix this please as I’m paying money for it but it’s now playing up to for the first time since I bought my subscription last three years. Thanks (I’ll change my rating once this is fixed and sorted)

Not working anymore. It’s been 10 days since this has worked. My internet is fine and I have uninstalled and then reinstalled the app. Still nothing displays. I hate to say it but I have become dependent on this app and since it can no longer display scriptures, I have not been keeping up with our regular scripture study. What is going on? Please fix.

Love. I have read my daily verse for the past 6 years daily! I love it!

App has not worked since July 15 2022. App randomly stopped working. Have tried the usual uninstalling reinstalling restarting my phone. Have had no response back from my emails that I sent.

Stopped working. It seems like this is an ongoing issue. It’s happened at least three times this year and when we go to app support we can’t get through. Either get your act together or I’m canceling my subscription. I’ll be checking until the end of this week. It stopped working July 16.

Disappointed. Been without service for weeks, tried all your suggested fixes, your services are down. I have been a customer for several years but I am now searching for more reliable service provider. Garret

Fix please. I really love this app when it’s working. Unfortunately it doesn’t work a lot. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting fixes with no result. Contacting developer has no result at all. I will not be renewing. In fact I wish there was a way to get a refund.

GREAT APP!. This is hands down one of my favorite apps! I love the inspirational quotes, scriptures, appropriate music, and short video clips. I can access uplifting messages through out my day quickly and easily. Thanks for this inspired work!

Always Crashing!. This app doesn’t load for me & hasn’t been for like 2 weeks now & I’ve completed all the necessary steps several times now. I paid for a 12 month subscription & will not be renewing again. I don’t recommend this app to no one!

Love it but it’s down. App has been down since 12/25. Several devices and subscriptions- can’t use at all.

The app is great! But……. it inexplicably fails to connect and doesn’t return for weeks! Unreliable, which is unfortunate because when it’s up it’s an awesome scripture, thought, hymn, and video all topic related.

Bugs. I used to give this App 5 stars but I went two weeks without it working, so it lost a star. I hope they extend my subscription because it wasn’t my problem it was theirs.

Use this everyday. I use this app and have downloaded it on all my family members' devices. It is a great mini-devotional for the day and is often really timely.

Not worth it. You should clearly state that you have to pay for this. Seeing it’s free, but then finding out you have to pay for a subscription feels a little dishonest. I wouldn’t mind paying for an app once, but this seems expensive for what it's offering.

Verses not available to me. I have 6 days left on my subscription but the app will no longer download daily verses to my app. At this time I obviously will not consider renewing my subscription if I cannot get the daily scriptures. When the app was working properly I very much enjoyed the scriptures.

Great!. Love, love , love it! I can review this during my day to keep me focused. I love the movie clips and additional info about the scripture.

Stopped working. I paid for the YR subscription and shortly after, it was unavailable every single day! I visited the site to see what to do, I tried every suggestion including uninstalling and reinstalling. However, now after reinstalling, it’s asking me to pay for another year subscription; not cool! I really would like a refund.

I love LDS Daily Verse. I look at the message every day in this app. Amazingly, it includes a scripture, a quote from General Conference, a song and a short video. It's worth every penny of the $3.99!

Stopped Working!!. Absolutely love this app, but it appears that it has stopped working after the latest iOS update. It’s kind of frustrating that I’ve already payed to use an app that doesn’t work, with no warning whatsoever that it wasn’t going to be updated anymore.

Good except for the periodic drops in service. Love the app, but it periodically drops and says there is no connection - sometimes for several days to weeks at a time.

Much Needed. When I committed to read the Bible 30 years ago, it was rough going. An app with daily suggestions was the ticket. Don't know how I missed this app, but as a recent convert of a year....I need this!!

Good when it works. I like the so when it works but too often it just says unavailable and gives you nothing. That’s frustrating when paying for a subscription.

Awesome App. Update: back to its usual perfection! Who knows what the issue was. Absolutely awesome app! However as an FTI, the last two days I’m getting the following error: “Not Available Connect to Wi-Fi or cellular data network to download the day’s content. You may also need to update to the newest version of LDS Daily Verse.” I have no issues with my connection and it looks like I’m on the latest release. Thanks for the great effort!

Use to be fantastic but it’s changed. I use to love this because the quotes would correlate with the scripture and it’d help me to understand the scripture but for the last little while, the quotes and scriptures don’t seem to correlate much at all. Just seems kind of thrown together now. Sorry😬

Amazing app. I live the app but this is the second time I’ve had to delete and re pay Bc it won’t show up on my phone. It says I need to be connected to Wi-Fi even though I am. I love this app so I’m so bummed this keeps happening.

Piece of junk! Do not buy!. This app is totally awful. I redid my subscription to it and it quit working a few days afterward. It with working with this message: Connect to a Wi-Fi or cellular data network to download the day's content. You may also need to update to the newest version of LDS Daily Verse. I have the newest version and I was connected to WiFi! I went to their website to send them an email (because it’s the only way to get ahold of them) and when I went to submit the message I got “Server Error” SEVERAL times. This used to be a good app. Not any longer.

Expensive. All you get is a free trial.. Wish they wouldn't try to trick you by making it look like it's free before you download once you download it, it costs a ridiculous amount of money or it expires after 3 weeks. 3.99 I don't think so. I'll just open up my scriptures and look in the free site for my inspirational verse.

Sad. I was so sad to not be able to get Daily Verse the past few days. I’m grateful the problem has been fixed. It’s been a wonderful app for me and how I begin my day. Bless you.

Good app but frequent outages. Several times recently the app has been unavailable for several days. Sad days for me. Don’t know why as my subscription is paid up to date. Otherwise I enjoy the verses before my evening prayer.

Unable to access and/or see. Love the app when it is accessible, but it goes out a lot. Says you need to have cell or WiFi access. And also says you need to update which have all the above and nothing. This time around 4 days without. How do you fix??? And you email, for support and not response!!! Even deleted and reloaded and nothing!! Need better support help!!

Stopped working, then fixed, now broken - again. My annual subscription is due for renewal in a month - but I won’t even consider renewing until the ongoing content download problem is corrected.

Download problems. I don’t know why but for whatever reason I can not open the scriptures for two to three weeks in a row and that happens three to four times in a years and is very frustrating bc is one of the methods I use for family prayers.

Daily Verse. I enjoy reading these each morning as I begin my day.

No response. I’ve had this app stop working many time for days at a time. I send a response and get no answer back. I ask for a refund and I get no answer back. Is this site run by bots?

Daily verse. I purchased this last year so I renewed I my now it tells me I have to download it on my cellular data plan what the I don’t know how.. I am disappointed it let me for while and since jummarch it won’t and I am sick of trying to figure it out..

App not working at times. I like the app but there are times when it just will not download the verses of scripture or anything it tells me to connect with data or Wi-Fi with witch I am connected but I get nothing for the last several days so I can only give it one star

Repeatedly wont load. I have emailed support several times to no avail :(. I have used the app fir years but this year I cant get it to load day in and day out. So disappointed. It was a bright point of my day.

Won’t work. I paid to renew as I’ve had this app for several years. For the past week it will not work. It shows nothing for each day. I’ve deleted and tried to re-download and nothing works

Not Working & no app support. Love the app but the daily verse hardly ever loads without saying connect to WiFi or cell network. Delete/redownloads don’t work. Went to send an app support message and after writing it up and hit send, I get a server error. Please cancel and refund
