You want an honest review? Here ya go.. I used to love this game. In fact, I was borderline addicted to it. I’ve been playing for two years now and I’ve been watching it slowly turn into a hideous dumpster fire. The creators have been getting greedier and greedier and the player base is getting screwed over more and more by them. I’ve been able to look past it for the most part but this recent week has really been a sleep in the face. First of all the most recent event - Hairrise Redux has been completely rigged to the point where no players could get any good rewards unless they spent a ton of money (both in game and irl money). It’s pretty much become a dress-up version of a pay to win game. However, the straw that REALLY broke the camels back was the Pretty in Punk fiasco. $100 for a set of wings and nothing else. No in game money, no crew rewards, just a single set of wings. For $100. And to make matters worse, one of the creative directors of the game OPENLY MOCKED the users when confronted about the pack, saying “Sorry you can’t afford the wings” and “Get mad at your job, not HR.” (Both of these quotes I took directly from leaked ss of the conversation) HR has made NO statement on this and the employee has had no reprimanding. It’s pretty disgusting, honestly. Overall I’d say don’t play this game unless you want to get scammed and spit in the face afterwards.

Terrible System - Save Your Money. DO NOT play this game unless you are mentally prepared to deal with racism, toxicity, exploitation and creators along with their support team that does not care about either one. They (creators and support team) will tell you what you want to hear and leave it at that. Do not even bother addressing any problems to them! They DO NOT care, as long as people keep feeding their wallets they will remain negligent and oblivious to every last problem brought to their attention. Save your money and save your well-being! This game IS NOT for 13+ this game is for 18 and UP. To the parents, DO NOT let your child download/play this game. There are people that want to do them harm on here, just like with any other game that claims it’s a 13+ game when in reality it is most definitely an 18 and UP game/platform. So parents, keep watch of your kids and where they attempt to spend your money at. This game is bad for business. It’s rich vs rich, smart vs dumb, racists vs “minorities” and scammers vs everybody. HighRise thrives from and lives for all of this. I do not need a response back from anyone from their phony support and or responding team. I know what this game is about just like you (HighRise) and many others. HighRise has yet to prove me and others otherwise. Take care.

Kids and Gold. This app is a lot of fun but it comes with some frustrations. Being a crew leader is hard, but it is harder when you have to make sure that children don’t join your crew because of the lack of word or topic censorship in the chats. I wish there was an age limit setting for the crews. These parents let their kids play on this app with no monitoring because they see it as a harmless dress up game. But in the chat, the adults in the game are able to use foul language and talk about age sensitive topics without limitation. You also can’t kick crew members during an event. So if someone is spamming the crew chat and saying threatening or inappropriate stuff, you can’t kick them until days later when the event is over. I also miss the old version of Highrise where you were able to earn gold by doing surveys or watching videos. You absolutely have to buy gold now. And the old surveys we took were not paid out. There is also an issue where the Highrise team has been double charging members for gold purchases or not giving them the proper amount of gold. I also feel that prices for items should be locked when added to the storefront. And trades should not be able to become scams. If these issues were addressed, the app could be so much better.

Money Hungry, Unless you’re willing to give up the cash don’t bother.. I have played this game for awhile so I have a pretty good idea of how it works. You really can’t get anywhere without buying something. The app pushes you to buy new clothes, membership, etc; Which would normally be okay expect they’re asking for way too much money. The creators are definitely way up on their high horse. And then when you complain they tell you “you can definitely play the game without buying anything just like in real life” No. First of all when everyone else is buying overpriced items in the game and you don’t you start to feel left out. You’re not as “cool” as the others and sometimes you can be down right bullied for it. You’re pressured into spending money to fit in with the higher members. I have tested this firsthand. I went through the game without buying anything at first, it was hard to make friends, no one talked to me and no one complimented me on the very basic outfits you’re giving with in the beginning. Then I made a new account on my tablet and bought a few things. I made more friends because they people were attracted to the fact that I had things normal players couldn’t get. I was invited to more rooms. It’s all a sales tactic these people are playing with you. I’ve worked in sales and I know all the games. The creators of this app are money hungry. Don’t waste your time unless your willing to drop some serious cash.

Fun but inappropriate. This game is really fun. But, the people are very inappropriate. So many people said bad words in the game, but it was not tagged. It should be tagged. This game should be for 16+. There are people that would friend me and ask for nudes. Also people share a lot of private information on this game, such as their age. I like the concept of meeting new people, decorating your room, and dressing up your character, but people who are being inappropriate do not get banned, and that is a problem. Some kids that may download this game will be easy to target. All those 20 year old people can easily ask children where they live, their age, their name, everything. That is a big issue. This is not a safe game for kids. At least have a restriction so kids under the age of at least 13 can not download the game. They could get in a lot of trouble by chatting with strangers. Please fix these problems. Also one more thing. I played this game for a few days, and I don’t know how to get gold. So I might play it again if you could get gold from doing stuff or daily log in rewards, or something. Cause I saw so much stuff that I wanted, but couldn’t get it because I didn’t have any gold, and I didn’t even know how to get it. So please respond and tell me how you can get gold for free, and not have to buy it in the shop. Thank you if you read this.

In Highrise, you get to do events every so often, which on the surface looks like an innocent little fashion show or minigame, but in reality, it’s a competition of who can spend the most money on gold for grab spins and stay awake the longest to use up every last drop of in-game energy they have (or can afford from more in-game purchases)!! If you like themed fashion shows where the winning model has an outfit completely unrelated to any theme at all, you’ll love the fashion show events where the winner is whoever can stack up the most clothing items in one outfit, meaning more gold if you wanna win! If that’s not enough in-game purchasing, there’s even NFT clothing items, because NFT is *such* a good cryptocurrency, right? But wait! There’s more! Highrise comes with loads of bonuses such as depression and anxiety! You’ll also encounter many groups of people such as racists, homophobes, sexists, pedophiles, the classic bully, and minors (despite the age for the game being 17+)! People are wrong. I’ve played highrise for years now so I know a bit about how it works. There’s a lot of reviews that say you need to spend money in order to get “good” items. That’s not true. I had good items and friends before I started to spend a little money on the game. You can join crews and get items to sell that way. There’s plenty of non-eventing or crews intended to help out new users. There are some people who aren’t nice on the game, but if you stay away from people like them, then you won’t have a problem. There’s so many fun things to do in highrise. You can buy and sell cute items and clothes. There is also weekly eventing for you to participate in to earn ranks and rewards. Joining a crew is also a really good way to make friends. A crew is a group of people that participate in events together and get to know each other in the crew chat. Some crews have requirements for the events (this just means how many tickets you need to get in an event) but there’s so many non-eventing crews to join when you are first starting out. When you first start out, don’t ask people for donations or free items. There’s so many ways to earn items to sell that you don’t need to ask people for free stuff. There’s giveaways you can join and possibly even win. If you want to get on someone’s bad side, ask for free items. That will surely do it.

Fun but extremely greedy. Take it from someone who has played since 2016 - this game has gotten extremely greedy with its practices, up to including some form of NFTs, which I find extremely scummy. Not only that but there are now exclusive grabs only for these so called NFT owners with their own currency. Then there’s the item prices overall which get extreme. I’ve seen items going for up to a whopping 70,000 gold on the Black Market. What the heck!? How is someone supposed to get that much gold without spending tons of money!? Also the grabs are overpriced now. 200 gold per grab and the drop rates are downright terrible. It’s even worse when you have people setting their own grabs up who then turn them off when they see that people are about to pull the epic items they have in them. Absolutely scummy practice. Most of the clothing and body items aren’t terrible, but I’ve slowly noticed a trend of much more explicit clothing, outfits that belong on strippers rather than people. Not to mention the tone of strip-club style rooms that players make. High rise needs to eliminate those or ban the players making them. Either that or restrict the app to 18+ users.

My honest review. I’m starting off with the people in this game. It can be VERY toxic. Period. There’s literal ADULTS on this app that are bullying children. The app is 12+ and these 20 year olds are on here telling everyone to report younger kids playing just to kick them off the app. It’s literally a game- anyone can play. You’ll get bullied for doing anything on here, if you don’t spend money and your character looks like a noob. And then these people who’ve spent thousands of dollars on this game go and make their characters as noob-y as possible and praise each other about how good they look right after they bully new players for looking like that. And if you actually want to be one of the top people in events, and be in a top crew, you need to spend money. LOTS of money. Otherwise you’ll probably stay at the bottom. The events in this game are a scam, they’re designed to keep the rich, richer, and the poor well poor... if you don’t spend money on the grabs (which barely give u the better items and it takes forever to get the better items) you won’t get anything unless you know how to get stuff and work your way up(which for me took months to At least get somewhat decent items) you’ll find friends in this game because some people are really nice, and some people do giveaways and games which is nice too and that helps some newer people but some of the games people host, rich people go to and then there’s no way to win because you don’t have any good items.

Scam. Favors people who spends hundreds-thousands of dollars on the game. Pretty much impossible to get anything good for free. Cherry on top is the slowly and slowly take away Free to Play features. Like for an example you used to be able to watch ads everyday to get what’s called a spin token (you can spin a machine to potentially win a good clothing item with a spin token) which when you won something with that specific token, it was tied to your account permanently and couldn’t trade it away but at least you could get items for free. A spin token is a value of around 200 gold ($1 in game equivalent basically) and they removed that feature completely. If you don’t spend hundreds to thousands no one is going to give a single care about you. You will be neglected and made fun of for being a noob. Also apparently you can’t ask people for item’s because it’s begging?? Not everyone can afford hundreds to thousands so asking for 1 item in HR is basically the equivalent of speaking ill on someone’s mother. Anyway, this game is hot garbage. Do not recommend unless you like to get cyber bullied.

really???. listen i love the concept of the game and stuff but lowkey it’s kind of like it’s a scam in a way. most cool items or “pretty/cute” items cost gold. the only way to get gold is by spending money or doing surveys but don’t bother with the surveys they always say the survey didn’t work out and sell your information to ad companies. Everything you need to know. This game, like everything else, has good and bad stuff like everything else. Good side like making friends and looking great many people like me enjoy dress up it’s fun there are many great items in the game. Also many artists post their art and become known and can just share their talent with others. Sadly the bad stuff are more. First so many toxic people. This is unavoidable anywhere even in school or real life basically. Second this game adds taxes when you buy gold which are supposedly to “ make things nit become so expensive “ when it’s not working at all. There are items that are with $1000 and up alone. Gold value when you buy is not good if prices are this high they should give us more gold when we buy them. Most nice and old items are worth 50k and up where the most gold you can buy is 25k which is $100. They really should cycle old items and grabs so prices would go down. People scam a lot and like to spread hate and sometimes innocent people get reported and get banned or punished for no reason. Support sometimes answers quick sometimes doesn’t and sometimes they say we’ll fix it but almost never do or say there’s nothing we can do to help. And even then, its gonna be a few items before you can even spin a grab (which you must record or screenshot by the way, do that to everything, even when spinning, in case the servers lag and the item goes missing, so the staff can be held accountable.)Also prices are so high that if youre a kid then R.I.P. Funny how it seems like a kids game but there are a bunch of people over 18+, and some of them are NOT kid friendly. It also promotes online dating, in which a predator could be on here trying to snatch your kids. Also it is a very toxic community and filled with SO much negativity. Like theres so much drama, and so many big accounts always complaining about getting messaged by noobs. Im not even a big account and its happened to me before by LITTLE KIDS, probably not even 8 yet, and all the big accounts have no understanding or maybe cant even comprehend this since they are also one to spend their entire paycheck on this game and treat it like another personal instagram. Its really sad to see how people just get sucked into games that might even get shut down like they did with the original.

Making Improvements. Long time player of Highrise. Unlike a good majority of the members here, I come in not to socialize but to build. Back in the day, it used to be nearly impossible to deck out your rooms because mostly everything used to be worth gold. As many know, gold is something not all could afford or were willing to pay up for. I’m happy to see that a lot of the items in the store are now worth bubbles instead since that’s so much easier for us to earn up. Building aside, I’m also into customizing my avatar. The clothing grabs are still by in large worth gold, but there are a few that come by that take bubbles instead which I appreciate. Wish bubble grabs were a bit more common, but hey, the very tiny Highrise team got mouths to feed, so I can’t even trip about it. The biggest positive about Highrise is that its players have a voice in this game. The devs and artists seem to really consider player feedback, and they even interact with us too. I can’t think of any other game quite like that.

Boring, not what I was looking for.. This app is pretty boring, and especially if you don’t spend money. You can’t really get too many good or “cool looking” clothes if you don’t pay real money for them, and sometimes that won’t even work if you’re looking for a legendary item. The developers seem to insist that people can be friends without you having cool items, but this is really the only way to impress others on here. Also, if you’re a little anxious when it comes to talking to others, this app will be very hard to enjoy. This is a social network, kind of like Instagram, but you can be your own little avatar and go into chat rooms. However, unlike Instagram, the content of this is boring, and not something that you can scroll through without seeing TONS of drama! Also, trading is very confusing when you first sign up. There is no tutorial for it, and you have to message the person directly. I still don’t really understand how to start a trade, actually. I was looking for a virtual world that was a little like the old Bearville (Build a Bear) from my childhood with a more grown up twist, but this is not it. Disappointed.

I love it but…. Honestly this game is the best games I’ve ever played! I always get bored of games so quick but I’ve improved so much from my avatar appearance to home and room! However this isn’t an affordable game the items you want so bad are crazy expensive up to $100 for your dream items! Here in California everything is so expensive now and $100 is like $20 now a days so if you’re trying to buy your dream item just know it’ll basically be impossible unless you want to wait $100 or more however my avatar is still looking pretty and I definitely love it but it’d be so much better if they at least had some offers or something :(( I’ve been trying to get lashes and they’re literally $100 I also don’t like how they don’t have a lot of nice clothes for men… my bf also plays this game and they’re definitely very few nice outfits for men and not to mention if you get nice shorts for men their legs are super super skinny as well lol but this is for sure my biggest downfall abt this game and I truly wish they somehow did something abt it. My sister also quit this game because she said it was (to expensive) in COD you waist $5 and get something BIG and here you have to waist $100 or more for a legendary item :((

Do not download!. I had my account since 2019 and recently quit. If you don’t have money then don’t bother downloading the app, this game is pay to win and not to mention pricey. The community can be quite toxic and nothing will be done about it. Staff is just as toxic as the community itself, they don’t care about their players they only care about the money that goes into their pocket, they will go as far as trash talking the players on Discord for being broke, etc. Anybody who plays/played Highrise can agree with that. Got scammed or hacked? Well don’t expect to get anything back because the staff will put the blame on you and they will let the scammer/hacker get away with it. I have seen it many many times and it’s quite sad. Let’s not forget about copyrighted materials! Studio Ghibli items, Disney items (which I know y’all didn’t get permission to use & hopefully you get sued for it.) Not to mention the staff/art team stealing designs/art drawn by their players turning it into items WITHOUT giving credit or asking permission and claiming it as their own. I mean the list goes on! I definitely wouldn’t recommend supporting this app. There is also nothing to do on here anyway but to waste lots of money on crappy/stolen content & drama. No mini games, no nothing. Do yourself a favor and save your time before wasting it on this sorry excuse of a game.

I love this game. In this game of course there are in-game purchases however you don’t have to spend money whatsoever. I just started about 8 days ago and I already have items that I’ve always wanted. As well as this there are free items that look so cool that can be found in a scavenger hunt. The main method for me when I got so much items was by trading. In events in Highrise, which take place every couple of days, which can help you get free rewards by earning points. These rewards are always being looked for by other players and can either trade then or sell them. I prefer trading since you can get more items out of it but it depends on your preference. During my time so far I have gotten so much cool and adorable items that I wanted the moment I started the game. I recommend this game to others who enjoy a fun game. Be warned that this game has so much nice people but there can be a toxic side to this community. Avoid being scammed by other traders or sellers. I recommend joining a crew as soon as possible that way if your scammed you can alert them and they can help report the person for you. The update. I’ve been playing this game for 2 years and I’ve been mad at a few things on this app before but not as much as I hate this update, theirs a few good things with the update but way more things that were just unnecessary, for instance, the only way to check your gold and bubbles is to go to shop, which isn’t a big deal but is just unnecessary and before the update u could see it anywhere which was much better. Also we are only able to do 2 gestures now, there were many of them and could even buy them and now there’s only 2. The profiles, now this one problem isn’t much but everything’s different, things r backwards now so kinda hard to get used to, you can’t tele to ppl anymore, the post r kinda weird now kind of like instagram which isn’t much of a problem. Also some little thing like avatars, their taller now, less gestures (as I said). The one that has me the most upset is the inbox, when your texting someone it’s complicated, theirs both on the same side now and I can’t always tell the difference, it was much easier before. I hope this update goes away and back to before cause this update is much more complicated. Overall I very much enjoyed the app, it’s the update that ruined it for me. And that concludes my complaint.

Stay off.. I had the game for a few years and spent way too much money on it as any teen would for a game. My account was recently hacked, no one had my password and my email was linked Incase I couldn’t remember. However, in the process of the event the hacker took off my email without me even being notified. Items that cost me hundreds of shameful dollars were stolen. The FAQ and support refused to replace the items to me. I could get into about how ridiculous the game has become over time, and the amount of cyber bullying that goes on, but at the moment I’m just here to express that many accounts get hacked and the support system is very poor and will not help, in fact after four years of me spending so much and keeping my account secure, they blamed me for getting scammed. Even if they track down a user, and block them, it’s as simple as resetting their device and creating a new account. So nothing really gets done when someone has done something terrible. The game scams users out of their money, it is a pay to play type of game and if you’re not extremely careful and someone hacks your account you will not be getting your items back. I advise staying away from this toxic game the people in it as well. It’s easy to get addicted to if you’re more of a social media type of person, but I’m literally begging everyone to stay off because it will hold you back and scam you out of a lot more than you expect. This doesn’t even get a star for me.. it’s just required.

This is pure frustration. I just recently started playing this game and I feel like this game could have potential. What I found incredibly frustrating about this game is that it’s near to impossible to get more gold unless you either buy it, trade something, or watch the ads which most of the time only gives you 2g (sometimes 5 if you’re lucky). My suggestion is maybe just for new comers you start them off with a substantial amount of gold and bubbles so they get what they want to make them comfortable and then they can do as they wish as they progress in the game. Disappointed. When I first got this game I was thinking it would be one of the best games I ever downloaded. The graphics were really nice and I loved the fact you could design your own house and character. In order to purchase clothing and furniture items you have to have bubbles or gold. Bubbles are easier to earn and you can get them by completing daily challenges in the game. Gold is not easy to earn. People make it seem like it is easy and can be done without spending money but the only way to get a decent amount of gold is by paying for it. People will tell you that you can watch ads, but you only get 2 gold for the first 2 ads that you watch. The other ads after that will give you bubbles. The problem is that most things in the game can only be purchased by gold. In order to buy limited items, you have to use 200 gold. People won’t want to trade if you are selling something that is available at all times. When it comes to trading, clothes and accessories cost somewhere around 2k-5K gold. I honestly think that this game would be a lot better if there was a way to transfer in bubbles for a good amount of gold in the shop. I think there should be ways to earn gold in the daily challenges other than signing up for a membership since that costs money. There is not much to do on the game either besides visit rooms and socialize.

Not sure how to feel.. I have been playing for about 2 years now, so not a super long time but long enough I think.. I was 15 when I started (didn't even read the age requirement), now I'm turning 17 in a few days. Within those two years, I have spent so much money, and so much more time than I should be as a teen. It is genuinely a pay to play game at this point. If something is free, you have to watch an ad for it, and it'll still only give you 2-5 coins, which gets you nowhere in the game. There are so many pedophiles in this game it's disgusting. At least 3 times a week, I am asked to send "pictures" or to date a guy twice my age, when my age is clearly stated in my bio. There are also very young kids, around 11 years old, playing this, being preyed on. It's horrible, and moderation does nothing. As for the events, you won't win anything good unless you are up for the whole event (3-4 days) or spend hundreds of dollars. I literally used to have an alarm set every hour of the day to wake me up for these stupid events. Literally depriving me of sleep, food, etc. It's addicting, and it's not okay how easily addicting this game is. Either make it "more free", or do something to motivate us. the skypass where we have to pay to earn good items isnt motivation.

HR is run by unprofessional racists.. If you’re new to this game, you maybe unaware of the mini world that exists in it. It’s like we all turned into AI and popped in a fake world. In this fake world there are many “anon” players who feel the need to make it an unsafe place for poc, lgbtq, etc. unless you are white or friends with the staff (who also play the game) you are in danger or harassment and being banned or silenced for speaking about black lives matter movement and anything calling out hate speech on the public feed. There is a report feature for hate speech however HR abused this and never properly handles the situation. On top of all that, the ignorance of HR staff is appalling. For Native American heritage in nov 2021 they actually made and put out for sale, red skin shirts. They “fixed” it but it shouldn’t have been a mistake in the first place. They also lack any black history month celebration for feb 2022. I am embarrassed to have played this game for almost a year now. I’m embarrassed that I spent my heard earned money to play a game that glorifies nft items. I will not be supporting racism, whether it was intentional or not. The ignorance and favoritism is causing a huge rift in the world of this game. There are people claiming to own people and calling them the n word and those people are hr staff and friends of staff. I have so much more i could say but it’s not an essay it’s a review. Beware of this game. It’s like highschool on meth.

Additional review. I’ve changed my earlier review after seeing the others in this thread, specifically one about account security. A user of yours spent hundreds of dollars on an account that they owned for years and instead of helping your customer who was scammed and stolen from, your response was that none of it could be replaced and you’ve updated your security since. I think this is the most disgusting money hungry response I have ever seen to a customer. It was also implied this is “industry standard” but if that’s the standard I’m out. I’m never spending any more of my money on a game that’s team won’t reach out and assist a customer with this kind of an issue. This person clearly loved the game much more than I did with my $5 purchase for one hair item, and I would still be outraged if my EMAIL LINKED account was not only so easy to hack into but to change the email of so that I or ANY OTHER PLAYER could lose any progress or any unlockable items they might have gotten through playing and PAYING FOR. This is abhorrent behavior, and your customer service base deserves better. Unbelievable. CHANGE your standard. Your paying customers especially deserve to know that their transactions are secure, that their accounts and items will always be linked solely to them, and that you wouldn’t fix this persons issue in specific speaks volumes.

Yikes..!. Where do I begin with this app? First of all everything is ridiculously expensive and getting gold is really not easy especially when this game is deliberately milking people for money during a global pandemic where a lot of people don’t even have jobs right now. When I reported someone (he was in his 30s) for trying to harass a minor (she was 16) my account was permanently banned for reporting that. It’s all about the money to this staff not about the safety of the minors or people who play it. This game is the most toxic, vile and disturbing game I have ever played in my life to say the least. By the way you may want to ban the people in the wrong and not the people reporting them if you don’t want the police involved because certain people may have a case against the game and it could blow up in smokes real fast. I wish i could do 0 stars. First off; this game is pay to play, if you don’t plan on dropping a couple hundred a month, no point in downloading. Second, i did drop so much, and they banned me for assumptions made by friends of staff, and now the staff won’t reply. This Game Gives Me Headaches. The words I would use to describe the staff of this application are selfish and uncaring. The creators themselves stated that they are working to focus on the “game” aspect of this app (which I can only assume means “events” which require real-life currency in order for you to actually succeed), yet they have eliminated all of the free mini games such as Wolf, Draw, and Fishing that were loved by the community and actually drew people together. Not to mention all of the updates, fixes, and changes have only created an unimaginable amount of bugs. The community itself has grown to become extremely toxic and unhealthy. Events have done nothing but create stress and tension understandably, as they are not games anymore. Users are pitted against each other in a competition of who can spend the most and sleep the least in order to rank the highest. If you are not a seasoned and well-known player with nice items, people do not want to be your friend because the app is also littered with scammers, catfish, racists, and pedophiles. I have seen pornographic images and anonymous hate accounts left posted for long amounts of time. The staff are of little to no help when it comes to responding to support tickets, unless a huge uproar is made. They do not care much for user input, it makes no actual difference to the development of the app itself. My decision to give this app more than one star is based on the fun I USED to have.

I made a few friends, started off good, but, is there Any way you can get gold rather then watch a bunch of ads to only get a few gold? There are more Gold items than Bubbles. There should be more items that cost Bubbles. People who have gold and doing ‘giveaways’ and always using a warm ‘sweet’ accent using probably the word ‘honey’ a lot. They act nice, they think they are nice, but in reality, I can read people like a book. If they have Gold, I have to avoid them, block them, or never look at them again. Great Game BUT…. Dear Highrise, I’ve been playing this game for a while now, way before black market even came to show. And before this High rise used to be so fun ! But now it doesn’t feel like that nor am I satisfying my dopamine receptors. The reason being that no one had a clue of prices on certain items. sometime you would get the opportunity to pull some great and costly items from cheap priced grabs. Which made the game so fun !! The mystery and adrenaline of ending up with a rich item was such a great experience but now … every since black market came out you don't see those grabs anymore…. EVERY single person is separating there rich and costly items from the over-listed and most common items with the help of “the black market” Which is no fun. Nowadays every grab room I join everyone literally has the same items. Items that are over listed with more than 500 listing are placed in these grab rooms. opposed to the ones that have lower listings or costly these items are either being sold in the black market or hidden away in private grabs which is not fair and boring please fix this problem Highrise I know you and your team will come up with bright ideas to resolve this issue. give us the grab rooms we once so happily pulled GREAT ITEMS FROM.

OBSESSED. So I have never taken the time to write a review on a game before but I had to for this one! I haven’t been playing for as long as some but omg I have been obsessed with this game since the day I started. Now the thing with this game is you do have to spend money to play. It’s really, really hard to get started or to even enjoy playing if you don’t buy some gold (at least every once in awhile)! Now me personally, I’ve spent WAY TOO MUCH but you don’t have to spend a lot. Just enough to get a couple items & then u can start doing grabs & trades to earn the items you want & keep some gold. You’ll never find yourself getting bored with this game! There’s literally people who have played this game religiously since 2016 & longer (and i can see why). Anyone who plays usually ends up loving! Theres endless amounts of options of clothes & accessories & for ALL different types of styles. And most things are not expensive! I’ve met so many great people on this game too. There’s always a new event going on that also offers new items! But all in all, this game is DEFINITELY WORTH THE DOWNLOAD! Don’t take my word for it, just try it & thank me later!

High rise. I’ve played since 2019. I use to enjoy it at first but it got old fast. It’s expensive to play. Harder to sell items. There are so many features only a selected group of players have access to. These items are not tradable and are becoming more appealing then the items for all players to access. Daily goals require friends. It’s so hard to meet anyone nice on here let alone a decent crew. So it’s pretty much pointless for those with social issues. The daily spins have been glitching so new players have no opportunity to get bubbles. New Feature after new feature with no time to test run the last bug the creators just caused. Many players who are innocent lose their accounts. the support team through the app has never, in any type of situation, with any player so far that I’ve seen, been helpful in anyway. This is not just a one app game. There is a test flight and a beta app to get the beta feature(3apps). Most times for support you have to use discord(2apps) For a creature account you have to have access to a PC/laptop. 9/10 with most of these kinds of features, the first lump some number are able to do so and then no other players who would like to join in these features are put on a line up sheet and made to wait until another player decides to leave. Events have gotten harder to get rewards at higher ranks so the items you get are useless.

Lots of potential.... I think this game is fun and cool, it is inclusive and there are many clothing items and furniture to choose from. There are many downsides though. When it comes to placing furniture within rooms, many players have issues with moving furniture, and also moving and placing walls and floor. It's stressful and time consuming. I think the creators have a lot more potential since this app is addicting and good, and they are not quite living up to that potential...not YET at least. But I really hope for it to be easier to move furniture. ALSO I'd like to add that the game gets buggy at times, where you cannot watch any ads whatsoever to receive bubbles, gold and such. I hope this issue is resolved in the future. AND another issue...some people on this app are very questionable and inappropriate things are being posted. I know this app is 17+ but it's disgusting that you guys don't look more into the predators and weirdos on this app...YUCK...There needs to be more monitors and restrictions. Worse game I’ve ever played. This game is a scam. The community is extremely toxic because they’re all entitled and rich. The whole premise of the game is to be the best and have the most accessories. The only way to get gold is either to buy it (with real money) or do millions upon millions of shady surveys that only provide you with 2gold (which u literally cant do anything with). A really enjoyable game to relax. This game has come so far, with so many UI and gameplay improvements! Makes for a really simple yet enjoyable place you can just hop into and chill and mingle with people. Love that they give you more starter styles than before, and that the customization for rooms is a lot easier now.

Great game but has SOME issues. I’ve played highrise for one year now! It’s a very creative game because you get to build your own rooms!! It’s also teaches you about social and how you can talk to anyone! I find it a little bit unfair because during evens you need to spend 200 gold for event grabs but some newbies don’t have gold so they have to buy gold. 1. It’s creative 2. A little bit unfair 3. NO GOLD. Would be better if there were actually more ways to earn gold except watching videos and offers that don’t work. I’m a new player and it’s just really hard to start and actually enjoy the game with barely anything. I can’t trade with others because the only tradeable items are bought with gold. Even though the game claims that you can earn gold from watching videos, sometimes it rewards you with bubbles or other useless items instead. I’ve been playing for a day and only got 9 gold so I’ll probably now consider deleting it. :)

Hey guys, I really enjoy highrise I’ve made a ton of friends on here and all but I’m really struggling with the grab and events, all the free items you get from events seem to be female themed and the grabs only have like one or two boy themed things in them which is a little annoying cause I also wanna be able to change my outfit every three seconds. If this could be changed I’d be super grateful. Also the situation with gold is a little ridiculous too, I wanna get grabs but I don’t wanna spend all my real money on it, maybe you can make it so we can earn coins as well as bubbles. Trading/ Bubbles. If you gonna give duplicates in bubble grabs then you must make them tradable or else it’s just an absolute waste. In fact most clothing that you can buy with bubbles should be tradable. So far bubbles are useless please fix this or try to improve it.

It’s cute but expensive and people are rude.. I enjoyed this game and it has some cute outfits. But it all comes with a price and if you want to trade or buy something from other players the prices are ridiculous!!! (Not to mention you have to pay for gold). People are selling items for 100k.. which is approx $600AUD!! (If you buy the $159 package!!). Seriously who on earth would pay that for clothes on an app?!?! Also people who have spent their money on “grabs” then sell items off and can be expensive, they get angry if you don’t “read their post correctly”. It’s a game full of young teens and they are angry over something so mundane. The “grabs” are 200 gold each which if you buy a small pack is $1.50AUD a spin. When you really want something you use up all your gold pretty quickly and get the same item about 4 times(or more). This has really put me off of the game, so many entitled people who need to remember it’s a GAME and not real life. I’m an adult and I can afford to buy things if I wish, but I’m not going to waste money and time on this app!!! Not to mention how many of the younger teens I’ve spoken too(they have “crews” which some are good but others discriminate depending on your rank with events) have had people send pics of their junk and creeping on them. Not Newbie Friendly!! Literally no reachable goals.. If you’ve seen this game on ads and thought about getting it, it’s nothing like advertised. Getting any items/gold is unbelievably hard and sometimes impossible. This is a pay to play type of game and if you don’t want to spend actual money there’s no use in trying. The app is asking me to give it my age when I open it(I did this when I created my account so I don’t know why its asking me again) but I go to submit and the button doesn’t work. HARRASMENT AND NO WORD FILTERS :(. I am a 12 year old and when I started the game I was so excited and I loved creating my avatar. Just a few minutes in I was being harassed and sweared at by a group of people, I still remember one of their names. They then followed me around the maps just to continue the harassment and copying of my Avatar and more people kept joining in thinking it was funny. I immediately took screenshots shut down the game and started to cry. I went to my sisters and showed them the screenshots.i segest having a GOOD filter for the game. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. 1 🌟

I love this game!!. Even though I’ve disliked the adds because I would always see them but when I decided it was time to download it. I realised it was quite a nice app you had a lot of things to choose from and it’s just very well made! Great game but…. I honestly love this game, I originally got it for the outfits and avatar because that’s very fun. Overall it’s a great game but just starting today it won’t let me watch ads for daily gifts and stuff anymore. I’m not sure if it’s the app’s fault or what but it’s really annoying because I have no other way of earning money in the game right now and another problem is how hard it is to get coins unless you have been playing for ages and people tip you. I was kind of shocked when I first started playing when I found out you can’t just wear any clothes you want but you have to buy them and they are very expensive. Awesome but needs improvement. I’ve been playing highrise for quite I while and I can say I’m ADDICTED, it’s an awesome game but there is room for improvement. The grabs are quite expensive to spin, and it’s especially hard to finish a single grab. I had a few friends that spent over 60k and couldn’t even finish it. I think that’s a bit ridiculous like I understand this game is made so you can earn money but spending $200+ just to finish a grab is crazy. Also the taxing needs to either be lowered and taken away completely. You can spend money to buy gold only to lose literally 1/3 of it because of the taxing. I hope highrise can bring back some of the rllyyyyy old grabs even if it’s just for a few days bc some old players don’t play the game anymore and it’s impossible to find them. Please keep highrise and highrise beta both going, not just officially moving everything to beta because even though beta is great and all since you can have different emotes, change background colours when taking photos and try on people sf, most people still prefer highrise. Great. This game is great so much fun but it would be amazing if you could actually interact with objects like you could actually swim in a pool , swing on a swing or actually pretend to eat something. Locked me out of my account, Terrible support. Pretty sure they didn't ask me for my email or password when I signed up so after I gave my old phone to my Mother, I contacted support and they have been bouncing me left and right, from contacting them via email and then contacting them via in game by making an entirely new account. I am very frustrated since my old account had MY ARTWORK posted on it and they are refusing to do anything such as giving me access to my account, deleting the account or removing the artwork off the account. Horrendous support team.

Very dangerous communication and to expensive.. I am young, a kid actually. I started the game, and was enjoying making my avatar. But a few minutes into the game, you get all these text messages from random strangers that are some what VERY INAPPROPRIATE. On my profile it has my age as 12! Yes, you can block them but that will not stop you from seeing their text messages. You have to accept them so YOU can text them. It should be the other way around. Disappointed. And way to much money, oh my goodness. You can barley play the game for a day.

Money hungry devs slowly destroying a fun game. The game was great… back in 2016, over time the devs have morphed it from a fun free to play friendly game to something that is constantly bombarding you with ways to spend money or the premium currency and it’s honestly just sad. It often feels as if they don’t care about their player base as a whole but more just the big spenders, especially with the recent release of the ‘creature club’ which is the fancy name they’ve given their nfts, who get special benefits other players don’t receive. There’s a lot more to say but I’ll leave it there for now, every time something new is implemented it’s one step forward two steps back for Highrise. Don’t waste your time/money.

DISGUTSED. I’m absolutely disgusted and horrified with this app. Especially the texting and communication system. ANYONE can text you, and because my profile says I’m 12, I get messages from random strangers, some of which are well above my age. It’s disgusting. The system is dangerous, anyone can see what your up to. The people that I get texts from are extremely annoying and inappropriate. Once I had the same stranger text inappropriate things to me for almost every day until I completely blocked them. I don’t feel safe using this, so anyone looking forward to playing this game, PLEASE DONT. I don’t know how much I can emphasize on that. It’s extremely dangerous especially for younger kids. Way too overrated. Hello Devs! I don’t like this game for multiple reasons 1. SWEARING!! I got this hame today and honestly I instantly regret it. Yes when you make your account you read the guidelines it says ‘no bulling and swearing’ but when people do swear there is nothing to stop other people seeing it it shows the word. 2. The controls. It’s soo hard to control can there be an option to get a joy stick or something. 3. Earning coins. Again as I said I just started but at the start when you first join they chuck you into it. Yes, they do show you how make your avatar and get a bit of your house but after that your on your own. Can you make instructions or something. 4. FALSE ADVERTISING!! Highrise. This game revolves around real life money, younger people cannot get as much and we get “taxes” for the in game money, which I think is ridiculous. Two of my friends were also banned for no reason and they’ve tried contacting HR but they only get automated messages. They wanted a refund on the things they bought for an event due to the fact that they wouldn’t be able to use it because of the ban and HR does not want to refund them. Highrise also keep changing the date the ban will be lifted.

It’s about the old highrise was it was super different from now many people are quitting because of weekly events i hope these gets fixed and please think that the highrise is all about people enjoying the game and making friends. This game allows pedophiles to pay 9year olds for nudes. There have been many incidents in the game (with evidence) that pedophiles use kids and pay them for nudes and sexual “content” (kids that are even 9 years old in this game). And multiple times I’ve witnessed 13 year old girls posting nude pictures live in their feeds. Not matter how fast we report this to costumer service to stop these pedophiles from grooming kids, and allowing such things to happen, customer service bluntly says “they cannot help with these issues”..

Honest review. It’s obvious there was a lot of effort put into creating this game and the staff members just want to make a profit off of it. The sexual harassment and abuse in the game is my #1 problem with the game. #2 is that it is extremely difficult to play and get ahead unless you spend real money. The rewards system only cater to users who can afford to spend hundreds of dollars on a monthly, if not weekly basis. Again, despite complaints from users about making it more fair to the several thousands users who are just trying to have fun and play, developers have not made changes. #3 is the art theft that happens. A big part of the game is designing clothing and items for avatars and the users play a part in this creative process. There have been occurrences of staff members stealing player art, and other users plagiarizing as well. No real measures have been taken in this regard either. The reporting system on this game is a joke.

THE GAME DEVELOPERS DO NOT CARE. I’m not sure why there is so many 5 star ratings, but honestly this game does not deserve even a 1 star. I’ve been playing Highrise since 2019 and have only seen it go downhill. It’s a truly pay to win game. You used to be able to get in game currency easily with ads and also free items occasionally but now you only get bare minimum of 7gold. Scraps. Ways to earn in game currency is non existent. They would also introduce new features that would benefit the players and everyone liked it, but then remove it claiming it was being “ABUSED”. Such as a daily free spin token which makes your items “account bound”. You weren’t able to trade these said items, but this spin token was able to give new and free players a chance to get items. The players would love to enjoy the game, but it’s hard when they remove any option for players to get ahead and be able to participate in the economy of the game.

Gold Complaint. I love this game but the gold is a bit much. It’s 200 gold for each grab but you only make 4 gold in the surveys most of the time. Only way to actually get gold is doing sketchy surveys, tips from others or using real money. Ads only give u 2 gold and most of the game is based around gold. The bubble currency is for beginners only at this point. Starting to strongly dislike this game. Either start giving out more amounts of gold or make things cheaper. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Since 2015 I’ve been playing on and off and through the years I’ve been seeing them slowly take away anything that could help aid a free-to-play player.. the past 2 years though have been far worse. They’ve now just completely removed any chance to be a free-to-play. They’re raised gold prices, they’ve taken away free gifts, even earned ones with ads, they no longer have the games, the events are legit hundreds of dollars of in game purchases to play.. and the sad thing is, this isn't even all of what’s happened. Dark mode is horrible (especially for those with vision issues). There should 100% be the option to choose light or dark mode. Fun game but.... People are lying when they say you don’t have to spend money, you do, very much so. If you want cool items you have to spend money, you have to get gold and then spin grabs or buy items off other people or from the store. Sure you can get some free stuff from the events like the runway event, or the pea king event. But to get the cool items from those events you have to be a high rank. The only way to be a high rank is to get the event specific clothing that gives you a boost in score as well as buying batteries to keep your energy up. The runway it’s hard to win at because everyone drops so much money on the game and has alot better outfits than you so they always constantly get voted. So people lie when they say you don’t have to spend money. You do have to, if you want cool clothing, climb in ranks during events, keep your energy up, or even have a chance at getting voted a lot in the runway, HR used to be fun. It used to be crawling with people who like to talk and everything but now it’s all just people who are selling clothing and that’s it.

Highly recommend!. Highrise has been an amazing community for me over quarantine, and as long as you try to steer clear of strange and/or toxic individuals, I’m sure it can be one for you too! There are a large number of bugs however, and moving up in the game and in art contests can be a bit classist (the former being rather difficult, though not impossible, without resorting to using real money, and the latter relying completely on how many followers you have rather than you’re actual art unfortunately). Now, sadly I can’t even play the game, faults and all, due to a really infuriating glitch. I just made a new account for fun, and usually when the tutorial starts (I’ve made a few accounts before) there will be a bit of dialogue from an npc, and then a shadow around everything accept a button you’re supposed to press. Strangely, this time before any dialogue it went straight to the shadow. I thought at first it was just a tiny big, but when I went to press the button, it just didn’t work. I tried plenty of times to click it before giving up, and closing and reopening the app to see if it would fix itself... it didn’t. Now I’m locked out of getting back to my main account, or even continuing to do... literally anything in the game. I have ideas on how to fix it, but this is so so aggravating. All in all, I think HR is worth your time, and I recommend it to you, and I’m hoping maybe the developers will fix some of the issues I brought up.

I’m not happy about the new update, it was fine the way it was before , the features and all are great the colorizing and the quality is great as well too wish the graphics was more 4K. Amazing scam. This game is amazing!!! If you ever wanted a simulation game that treats you like an abusive lover, this is your game! Get ready for lots of disappointment with little boons to counter all the usery the makers throw at you from buying gold pack just so you can give them 10% of every in game transaction you do between other players and grab machines that actually don’t work. 5% chance at the good loot but it is not cumulative so each pull is its own. So your rates are more like .5% and timers on the machines so you better spend cash fast or you will lose out on that item you wanted. And HR support is like no other fast responsive and quick to tell you they don’t care. You will never feel like you are being ignored they will let you know fast that you don’t matter. 10/10 if you love being abused download this game now don’t wait you pathetic loser!!!

I think high-rise is a very OK game, but it only issue I have with it is there a customer service they take forever with their customer service I tried getting back into my account today after it was locked out because I was swearing and they needed to confirm for my birthday but they are taking forever and they close conversations which is very unfair. The most non logical way of doing things ever. Even saying that makes no sense. Why am I being punished for someone else’s actions when your app should have better security. Their “head staff” member Mitch banned my alt when I told him a hacker was on it. How ridiculous. Mitch claims he is a head staff member and game owner. Is he really though? They had a problem before where one of their staff members dated a hacker and scammer, and the staff member helped the hacker steal people’s items worth hundreds of dollars. His name was Jeremy. There’s proof of it because even head staff posted about it in game before with an apology. So unprofessional I don’t know how this game is still up. It requires minimal effort to run this game and make money off little children who deal with creepy old men on the app in the mean time, which again nothing is done about it because those men are probably staff members too, with their reputation. They need to hire professional people as real employees, not people who run this game and treat players like school children rather than like customers.

Honest review. On many aspects, this game is fun and suggested highly towards people who are bored. You can chat with friends, join crews, and event! There’s always new updates and clothes/ Items to collect! Yes, you can achieve high ranked items as a free player if you’re smart about it. On the other hand, while the social aspect is fun, there are a lot of problems with it. There’s a huge amount of pedophiles and lots of accounts from young kids of adults trying to gain sexual favors from them. Grooming does occur and it’s a big problem. Moderating is a huge aspect that needs to be worked on as well. There are a lot of people being reported for this behavior but nothing being done about this serious issue. It would be nice to keep the age limitations 12+ so kids can enjoy this app in peace. But, for these kids to be safe, we need Better moderation. New update. I love the new update lets everyone gain gold by spinning the wheel. Usually you couldn’t get anything new unless u play an event in which people already played as well so they already have an item and won’t want to trade/buy. Hope you won’t take it off and other than that I love the game. Just kinda wish u can also trade bubble items like the one u have to Spend 1000 on because all u can do is sell it in the plaza and they only give u 20 bubble back. I also think In the plaza they should give u at least have of it back the most they would give u for selling an expensive bubble item is like I said 20 bubbles. Never Spent $. People keep saying you can’t get anywhere without spending money... I don’t even have a bank account and I have people I admired telling me they look up to me or using the word “famous.” Obviously, I’m not, but if enough people that have built a name for themselves without spending money are telling me that, clearly it shows I’m “getting somewhere” in the game. It’s a fun game and the only downfall is if you lack the discipline to manage your time and dodge addiction. There are toxic people as well, true, but there are toxic people everywhere. The only thing I’d hold the staff responsible for is their way of handling drama. People that should be banned aren’t, posts that need to be removed immediately are up for hours, and kids are considered welcome on the app despite its suggestive themes and promoting bad habits. Some may argue it’s a parent’s job, others may agree that the app can still do better. Just saying, don’t take what people that didn’t really try at the game are saying to heart. It’s a great game you can certainly do well in, it just needs work.

Old player. Ive been playing this game since 2016. This game is highly addictive so if you have spare time and want to meet new people in your country or anywhere around the world this app is perfect. Its basically an animated mini world and I love it. I saw some of the reviews on here and I just want to say that (in my opinion) there was and is some events that show 18+ items (e.g stripper clothes, guns, etc) and 18+ chat (e.g roleplay, clubs, drug enthusiasts) which is why it attracts 18+ people such as myself. If adults are reporting children (not me) its because they dont want children to see these images before theyre old enough. Ive always thought this was a 16+ or an 18+ game so i was wondering why there are 13 year olds playing this game. It makes the younger generation feel these images and items are “cool“ and want to know things inappropriate for their age. I’m just saying I vote for making the game at least 16+ in the future since accounts can get banned for letting a person under the age of 18 onto voice chat. Other than that I love this game. Don’t download!. This app started off fun I never socialized or anything I just built and collected clothing. Over time I started socializing ended up being one of the biggest DJ’s on the app. I played for about a year or so maybe only spending $250. I came up with ways to flip items and make gold fast. But I was hacked half of it had to do with the staff team. They never protected my account and made excuses that it was my fault. This app also has dirty staff. Duplicating items, raciest paying players off to save they’re job, and thief’s. There has been rumors that some staff even sell personal information for self profit. Not including the crypto they tried to get into with NFT’s insuring account safety and someone’s account was already stolen lost a very high ranking NFT. Highrise has a lot of stolen copyright items and is a lawsuit waiting to happen if you join this game don’t spend money cause this app might be shutting down any day now. People are losing items out of theyre account left and right if your not wearing it. Would not recommend this app to anyone ever again.

2017 Player Review. hi there, I’ve been playing since 2017. there’s a ton of negative reviews, so I’ll just get to the point. 🌸💕 THE PLAYER-BASE: - everyone cries super hard when the developers do anything they don’t like, whether it has a serious effect on the game or not. a good example is the #removefreespin boycott, which hurt the player-base more than it ever hurt the staff. THE STAFF: they’ll ban or suspend people unfairly, then say “email us”. if you email them, there’s a good chance they won’t check anything you said, but respond with this copy pasted paragraph of “your ban is justified and we check all bans”, yada yada. CURRENCY: despite what a lot of noobs think, gold is very easy to gain and doesn’t require purchases. i haven’t spent a cent on this game but got 20k gold in under a week after being suspended. there’s many ways to gain gold and it’s not all it’s hyped up to be. most of the issues with gold actually lies in how the community decides to turn it into a problem, but people wrongfully direct that anger at the developers. EXPECT: 💥 - gain a gambling addiction after playing Highrise for long enough. - slowly buying cheap $ packs until could pay off a car, like most of the community - expect yourself not to be able to drop the game and keep logging on 50 times a day. - expect extreme toxicity from others - scamming 💧 - supportive friends who will defend you against the toxicity

It’s a decent game I guess. I’ve been playing it for about 3 hours but don’t really understand the purpose of the game. Looks like you get coins and bubbles from doing daily tasks along with building a room? There’s no guidance in the game so you’re to basically figure out everything on your own. I originally thought this was a game to have your own character in your own house (kinda like the sims) but it kinda looks like all you’re supposed to be doing is designing hangout spots for people to come and checkout. There’s also little to no interaction with the items around the room. You’ll find useless things like elevators you can’t use or food you’re not able to actually eat. That would be an interesting addition to the game. Going to the bathroom, eating, opening doors, things to interact with. On the plus side it’s easy to get bubbles when you first start. In the 3 hours I’ve been playing I made a living room, my bedroom, and a bathroom… um… that’s when I found out this game had no purpose to making a house. So idk I don’t really get it.

DONT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME. If your coming on this game because you thought you could make your own outfits that’s a fake advertisement this game is nothing but gambling getting randomly banned because they take fake reports seriously and most importantly they blanently show they don’t care for anyone even if you’ve dumped thousands of dollars into the game and you definitely will between the grabs that are rigged to where you’ll spend 200g to spin and only get 50g items or how the cheapest option for buying gold is 5$ which is gone the second you get it there are random glitches on the game that happen where sometimes your grab won’t spin and you’ll waste 200g and no one will do anything about it the owners of the game are also getting all their info from a racist guy that is giving them fake info because they are paying him off and if he says your name then you kicked off the game and they give him 500,000g to do so it’s a mockery of what it’s advertised to be and is made to be addicting and also you have to pay to even talk on voice chat with your friends good luck even getting an outfit you like without spending hundreds of dollars on the game DONT DOWNLOAD HIGHRISE

Fun but... As a newer user it’s a bit difficult to get used to the game but once you do it’s pretty easy. I earn coins by doing surveys and they’re pretty easy for the most part. The only issue I have with the surveys is that 99% of the time if you try to go for a higher reward survey they make it out to seem like you needed to either be in college or graduate college with an amazing degree and you need to understand rocket science or they’ll kick you off the survey. I feel like these should be more simple considering they’re just for a game.. not even just a “game”- a game that I’ve seen 16yr olds and under play. So why make the surveys so difficult to complete? I understand they’re probably from a 3rd party app but if that’s the case then tell them to actually allow you to take a survey. Or remove the surveys that require you to have 4 years of college and more under your belt. They’re asking for too much just for a simple 20 min survey.

This game is dangerous lol. I first played this game in 2016ish and now I’ve returned. I honestly don’t remember much from the game in 2016ish, other than it was impossible to get some cute items without spending money. That was the reason I stopped playing; I couldn’t help but feel left out. It was also filled with kids who wanted to online date. Now that I’ve returned, there are a lot more items to buy without gold, which I like. What I don’t like are the grabs. They are so expensive and I could definitely see kids stealing their parent’s credit card to spend a lot of $$$ to get the items they want. I disagree with people who say that you don’t have to spend money to have fun in the game. The whole game revolves around trading, selling, and collecting rare items. Every room you go into, there’s always someone telling people to check their sf. Sure, there are ways to get rare items without gold, but it takes longer than just spending hella cash to get what you want.

Wonderful Learning Experience. I have been playing this game since 2016 and learned so much about supply and demand, how to manage money and savings, how to barter for better deals, how to invest, and so much more. This game is WAY more than just a game at this point. It’s like a whole other world with an economy, social order, and everything. Highrise should really include this in the description along with the next thing I’m about to say. Not only does it teach a lot about economics, but a lot of the items in the game are designed by the players. Unlike most games where new items are designed solely by the developers and only come out once a month, Highrise’s items are designed by the players and come out every week, so not only can you customize your character, but you can potentially customize it with clothes that you designed. I love this game!

Fun but annoying at times. The game is enjoyable, good to escape to after a long day, but the community can be really toxic, and I think creators should take some time to encourage a more inclusive and welcoming community in the game. I also dislike that they recently deleted the NPC you sell extra account-bound items to, so now we can’t trade or sell them, and they just sit in our inventory with 9 others of the same item, and continue collecting as we earn more and more of them from the bubble grabs, trying to get items we don’t have yet. I think they should bring back the bubble sales guy, or if we can’t sell extra account-bound items, then the ability to collect those that we already have multiple of should be taken away. Just a thought. Otherwise the game is fun and I enjoy the challenges and events. Thank you HighRise team.

Honest review. The amount of money you do spend on this game because you start to become a collector. Yea you can watch ads for coins or earn it through some of the rewards but let’s face it if you really wanna get somewhere in the game then your gonna spend some bucks. What’s more frustrating is the grabs seem to be rigged. You spin this thing up to 100+ times and you can get 12/13 of the grabs and that’s with maybe triple or more of the same grabs but even after 100 more times you still don’t get that last grab to complete your total grab for a legendary... it can be so frustrating and that’s speaking from majority of Highrise players. The competition in the game for who has what is serious but you have your pros too. If your looking to making new friends then this is the game for you other than that you’ll be throwing your money away to some fancy animated gear and rigged grabs. I hope Highrise reprogram the grabs for better chances on getting those epic gears maybe then some players will want to continue the game and long term players mean a longer payout for Highrise.

Yes, it is possible to become sucessful without real money. Okay I'm not gonna go too in depth bc this review would be an essay but I'll just say the basics: 1. Yes, it will take a while-maybe even a few months- but it IS possible to get gold and become fairly rich on here without doing any in-app purchases. Trust me- I know from experience. All you have to do is go to every giveaway and keep watching videos to earn gold for like a month and then trade people for your gold for their stuff. 2. The only reason this game is bad is bc their is a newsfeed where people can post pictures of whatever they want and sometimes those pictures are inappropriate... I really do think there should be filters on what people can and can't post. Also I think the apps rating should stay at 13+ bc a lot of people swear on here!!! Overall it's a great game and very addicting and I love it but I do think that their should be filters to make the game more geared for teens and tweens rather than adults

Not for free players anymore. Bring back skypass. Skygrab is really horrible to do to your free players. I already said when they got rid of the skypass I’d no longer put money in this game and I haven’t. Not only did they take away items from free players, they also took away grab tokens, gold, and bubbles. I can’t even buy the daily batteries for the events anymore cause I have no bubbles. I can’t build a room in their new room building that is coming out. Like come on, how is this fair for anyone. If they really cared they’d bring back the skypass or they would firgure out another way for free players to earn good amounts of bubbles and at least tokens other than watching videos for a a few bubbles and gold. I personally think if you aren’t willing to spend money then don’t waste your time with this game. Until they fix or bring back to the skypass or something equivalent don’t waste your time. I’ll fix the rating once they fix the problem a lot of people are having. No one is happy with the sky grab and they want the skypass back.

Gets boring fast. As somebody who’s paid over a hundred in this game already, because I have no self control This game is.. not even good for meeting people. The community is only interested in selling what’s in their storefront. 10/10 ads you get for this game will show you some dress-making game, which.. isn’t even in this game. If it was, it would have been real fun. The most you can do in this game is either- 1events which have you voting, or endlessly pressing buttons that do really nothing but give you points- or 2, make a room. Winning much in an event can cost a lot of money. Not that winning an event does much more than give you nice clothing items. The game lacks any minigames, or anything similar you’d be able to do with your friends in literally any other virtual-chatrooms style game. You can get the premium currency for this game without spending money via sales- which requires having something worth selling- or doing surveys. It’s basically a capitalism simulator. But not even a good one where you can make your own outfits in a similar fashion to how the ads described and showed. It’s basically a weak social media with avatars. But the clothes do look nice if you’re the artsy type who likes to look for clothing inspiration for outfits or whatever.

Used to be good not anymore.. I would play Highrise and have fun and had drama but now I realize you need gold to get clothes and that was really hard for me and not everyone is going to be able to get gold because some parents don’t trust online games with there credit cards and then I decided to delete Highrise because what is the use of playing this game when you just want money, if you want money so badly how about you get up from your beds and go to work, you just making a game and getting money is bad for you because you will keep getting money and asking for more and I wonder if you would teach your child like this if this is a boy/girl but this is not right and I think it would be better if we get things without gold or make a spinning wheel for us to use everyday to get gold because that would be helpful, if you are reading this I hope you understand that you need to stop making everything for money and do without money anyway thank you for your time and sorry for writing too much but I had to share my opinion.

PLEASEEEEE!!!!!!!!!. I need you to better review your supposed privacy policy because I was playing this game for more than 2 years and on one occasion someone entered my account and stole everything I had achieved up to that moment, I complained and wrote to all the sites that I had to, I sent proof as they asked me and they did NOTHING. YOU HAVE TO HAVE SOME WAY OF KNOWING ON WHICH DEVICES USERS ACCOUNTS ARE OPENED AND REALIZE THAT IS NOT WHERE YOU USUALLY PLAY, THEY DID NOTHING ABOUT IT. Almost a week later the thief wrote to my cousin from my account and gave her my password and when I was able to enter it was empty, I had no money, I had no emotes or items. YOU SHOULD KNOW TO WHICH ACCOUNT ALL MY THINGS WERE EXCHANGED because it is rare that more than 1k of objects are sent to another account, leaving another empty on a device that is rarely active. AND THEY DID NOTHING. I found out who had stolen my report and they didn't do anything either. I left the game, I cried for days because of the frustration I felt because I was left at zero, all the money and time that I dedicated to the game they let me lose. They don't care about me, they just don't care about me because my account wasn't one of the best or the most legendary. END.

Making Improvements. Long time player of Highrise. Unlike a good majority of the members here, I come in not to socialize but to build. Back in the day, it used to be nearly impossible to deck out your rooms because mostly everything used to be worth gold. As many know, gold is something not all could afford or were willing to pay up for. I’m happy to see that a lot of the items in the store are now worth bubbles instead since that’s so much easier for us to earn up. Building aside, I’m also into customizing my avatar. The clothing grabs are still by in large worth gold, but there are a few that come by that take bubbles instead which I appreciate. Wish bubble grabs were a bit more common, but hey, the very tiny Highrise team got mouths to feed, so I can’t even trip about it. The biggest positive about Highrise is that its players have a voice in this game. The devs and artists seem to really consider player feedback, and they even interact with us too. I can’t think of any other game quite like that.

Server issues and more. I would suggest this app to all. But not if you get upset easily. If the app creator could respond I would be flattered. Honestly. I play this game a lot. But I feel like when I play it too much there is constant server issues. The game freezes and I can’t respond to potential buyers leaving them angry. I also can’t post anything when these “sever issues” are running. So I can’t let people know my server is down. It lasts for so long, once again it’s a great app but please fix the server issues they seem to happen every other day. Also. A suggestion. We can convert gold into bubbles but why can’t we convert bubbles into gold. It would be very useful to people who don’t have real money to spend on gold such as kids and young teens. You could also put a limit on how much bubbles you can covert to gold a day. Ty.

Apps great just nudes.... Love the game just wish people would stop asking for nudes or social media it drives me crazy!!!! Never works when it should!!!. So I’ve been playing highrise for at least 6 months now, the game is really fun, though, there are to many bugs, one of them being a bug when the game is loading, the game will be loading and then, the game just randomly freezes, the title bar doesn’t say anything anymore, the bar isn’t moving it just dies, it gets really annoying especially when an event is going on and I need to use the rest of the time I have before it ends! Second, when I’m going to look for people that may have items in there storefront that I want whenever I go to the button where you go to find people, the game just dies and that keeps going on and on, UNTIL, when I play it later in the day! It works perfectly fine! It gets really annoying and by the time this happens the items I want are already gone! If you can please fix these it will be greatly appreciated so I can play the game much more! - a friendly person

Fed up. Ok so I played this game years ago and I had an account, I could delete the app , re-install it , and log back into my account no problem. Eventually I quit playing and it’s understandable for my old account to have been deleted, no big deal, I can just make a new one right? So I did by using my email, everything was valid and I was having fun re-living my early teenage years. But something came up and I had to remove the app from my phone but I DID NOT delete the data from the app so I hoped that I would be able to log back in soon like I used to be able to do, but when I tried to log in the way I did last time by using the “log in with google” button it said there was no account under that gmail , which was weird because I remember specifically using that email to make my account in the first place. I don’t feel like having to re-do everything AGAIN so I don’t know if I ever want to play this again, besides the game is more dull and boring then I remember. on my old account I had worked really hard to make enough bubbles to build my winter cafe , and now it’s all gone , thanks guys.

PRETTY PLEASE!!. I’ve been playing this game for awhile and I absolutely adore it but i think it would be nice if you guys were to add a spinning wheel that has like gold,bubbles, and a surprise/mystery bar on there. It can lessen the situation where everyone keeps saying they are broke and all. I also think that our closet and inventory should be more organized. Like for our closet we should be able to save outfits we have made and etc. and for our inventory it would be nicer if it was organized like the shop where it says floor, decoration, outside,etc. because it would be easier to find things unlike the way it is now. Pay to win and Greedy. It's so bad, I want to give it a zero, but that's not possible, so I give it a one. Highrise has SOO much potential. The game idea is amazing. Lots of chat rooms and the ability to make friends and express your style and personality with the avatars. Where it goes downhill is the unfairness to people who cannot afford to spend hundreds.. no *thousands* of dollars on the game on a regular basis. There's a new event every week where players can compete to rank for rewards. This is where HR is unfair. The same crews and same people win all the top rewards every time. This is because , you guessed it, they spend an astronomical amount of money! PAY TO WIN GAME. There was features that helped out free players such as the daily videos that gave you a spin token so you could spin a grab that gave you an item. They removed this, along with the wheel during events that gave you event items that helped out. The developers of this game do not care about the community that made them successful. Without the community Highrise would be nothing. #ReturnFreeSpin #BoycottHR

You Have to Spend Money. Okay so you don’t HAVE to spend money, however if you want anything good or worth anything in the game, you do. The game is fun and a good concept - though if anyone was around for Woozworld it’s basically a direct copy of that. New Users have access to silver coins (unsure of the name in the game) and those can be used to buy things, however they’re all untradeable. So while you CAN get items, they aren’t Worth Anything. Everyone in the game, and the game itself, sells items for Gold. Gold you have to either buy with Real Cash or watch ads to Hopefully get 2 gold coins (sometimes you get other items that are surprise surprise Untradeable). It’s a cool concept and fun to play - there are events and users hold giveaways and you even have a mini social feed inside the game - however the fact that it’s ridiculously hard to get anything worth something and if you Do get gold it’s from the game making a profit off of either Ads or you spending Money on it.

Fun but Toxic. This app is fun I’ve made plenty of nice friends but it’s also toxic…this app is not for people who want to actually just come online to make friends, people either treat the app as a dating app or just make friends but mostly a dating app, there’s a lot bugs with HR where your character can’t use what they call “emotes” in the game or if you buy packages the item won’t be there sometimes so you wasted your money but also don’t get the promised items and HR service just tells you they are sorry and can’t do anything about it so be careful when actually spending your money on here, you shouldn’t have to even spend actual money in my opinion & they also allow 9 year olds to be on here which it’s an 18 and up game so don’t lie about your age because now they are taking those accounts down if they find out and lately it’s very easy for someone to ban you over nothing which leads to you losing everything…so bullying is allowed even if you report those people they do nothing about it so Fun but Toxic

Sghjj. It’s kind of confusing like how do I get out of the bedroom but I love the fact that I get to style my own character and get my own nickname. No one even knows my nickname and I don’t mean figure it out because it’s my mommy me I’m getting it’s not that I’m not telling you who it is because you’re my let everybody know and then everybody can help me or talk to me and I’m not allowed to talk to anybody because I’m not even the age that I’m supposed to be to play with because I just had about 1950 whatever on that thing but that is I love this game so much but it’s a little confusing like how do you get out of the room show me how to get out of the room let me out of the room where I will do this game, and I will never buy it again because I am and I’ll do it on my sisters phone and then she’s not even 17 either she is only 15, I mean 14 turning 15

Fun but WAYYY TOO MUCH MONEY.. The app is fun. I have a lot of anxiety, so talking to people at first was really hard for me, but I basically just treat this app like another version of an instagram. where you create a new persona if you want of yourself, but you have to invest a lot of money. The cool outfits are worth a lot of money, and I easily spent like $100 just trying to get a certain hairstyle, which in the end I never even received because I couldn't get all 12 of the “epic” hairstyles needed in order to get the “Legendary” style that I wanted. the spin just kept giving me the same styles over and over and over and over and over again until I spent all my gold coins & had no more gold to spin to try to get the hairstyle. I find that to be unfair in every sense of the word and just plain money hungry. The game would be better if it didn’t let you repeat items more than 4 times, but asides from that I guess I don’t mind buying other items. I just wish they’d set a special price on the legendary items and that’s it.

Money hungry and could be better. So I have been playing this game about a year and for a few months two years ago and you start out with 0 gold and 1000 bubbles . Bubbles only buy you blocks and stuff for your room and certain grabs grabs are clothes and accessories so right now they have the chocolate grab which is 1000 bubbles . The only way to get gold is if someone donates to you , you watch videos which is 1-2 gold If you play pag , block , word etc or do special offers like play another game till a certain level or take a test or simply buy gold. It takes awhile to get enough to get something and when you do most things cost 25-over 1000gold . Along with that when you reported people for bullying , naughty pics or videos etc hafe or more then hafe the time when they get reported nothing happens 😡 me and my crew reported a girl a few times because she has inappropriate videos of her touching on this app and yet has not been talken down. They also need to have more people watching chat rooms because of bullying and people talking certain ways there is young kids on this site

Love This Game! But…. I love this game! I mainly got it for the clothes customizations since I’m really into that sort of thing. But the one problem I have with that is you need the gold to get that stuff. And the gold is hard to get, especially being new. Like the newcomer package you get from beating quests for example, the only thing I have left is ‘Collect 3 things from Clothing Gacha things’ (botched the name because I forgot it) and I cannot do it because the ad’s aren't working so when I collect my daily bubbles I can’t watch the ads to get down to the coins because ‘the ad’s aren’t working, try again later!’ same thing with the daily wheel when i try to roll again with ads. the ads are broken which means i cannot collect the coins to get the gachas for clothes and to complete the quests. get it? Is the game just down on that part or is it something on my end?

Elites. What makes an elite? On the game, what determines if you’re an elite or not is if you have the items that are way overpriced. I’m talking a single hairstyle is 30k (30,000). There’s a problem with not being able to buy these items without spending real money on the game. And if you don’t want to spend money, you’re literally bullied for it. A “noob” is what you’ll be called. It doesn’t seem like much but noobs get SOOOO much crap. Bottom line is that it’s hard to play if you don’t spend money for the good items. ALSO: A lot of my purchases with real money have worked. But when I paid for the $20 package I received NONE of my gold and when I went to check if the purchase went through it said it did on my card but I didn’t receive any of the items I paid for. The purchase registered on my iTunes yet not on the actual app. Please staff I hope you see this and fix it :) (@alimor)

You promote players who pay the most and allow them and enable them to be completely toxic and unaccountable for their actions you enable hateful discrimination without proper help for people who need it small players who deserve to be seen heard and have fair an equal opportunities and also you make billions and are nearly impossible to get assistance from that is actually impactful and helpful when being bullied harassed and targeted for being a minority. Try harder, do better, acknowledge and celebrate diversity and protect us when someone breaks your own guidelines so we don’t have to out ourselves at risk defending ourselves because you refuse to, it’s lazy. Devs wants your money and community is garbage. I have only been playing this game for a few days and can see how much the devs wants you to spend money on this game. You can play this free to play but granted you will be playing for a long time. Everything in this game is overpriced and everything is for people who buy there memberships and gold. You can trade the gold and sell you items so as a free to play you can try and get some good clothes but people in the game overprice there stuff making near impossible to get a good deal. Next the people in the game are all little kiddos or adults with bad tempers, I got kicked from many rooms just by saying hi. They have a social system where if you are not looking like a million bucks you will not get any attention. The starting clothes I was given was a clear indication I'm broke so no one wanted to talk to me, but after begging for people unwanted clothes and going to people who are about to quit the game I look somewhat normal among the wealthy people now I'm getting people talking to me but after they find out what my room looks like I'm broke they leave me. Nothing like the adds but a AWSOME game!. This game is nothing like the adds, But there is a lot of things that are AWSOME about it, it is more like a virtual meeting game, you can make a lot of rooms and decorate them, there are tasks you have to do to get bubbles witch are things you use to buy stuff, Also you get coins and bubbles daily by watching adds and spinning a wheel, you also can make a lot of friends, Also when your in the game go to where you can pick where you teleport on the side and search up Abrea’s Café that’s my restaurant it’s still progressing but it’s still nice in my opinion! If you chose to download this game and do search up my café and teleport there I will give you coins but if I don’t have enough I will follow you and when I get enough I will give some to you! Help pls! **fixed**. So I use to play this game all the time a couple years ago, and I had it connected to my Facebook. Today I decided to hop back on. I spent TONS of money into this game and I really want my account back. It says there’s no account linked with my Facebook. I’ve tried so many different user names and passwords I would have and it just keeps telling me incorrect password. I would appreciate my account back, since I spent a lot of my own money into it. I don’t want to start over. I even tried to start over and it just stays at the loading screen trying to connect. Please help! ISSUE HAS BEEN FIXED And I gotta say this game is amazing. My only issue is why do they have to take half the money from our own personal grabs? And if you trade gold you have to spend some of it to trade it? I know it’s always been like that w gold and I hate it sm but other than that it’s a really fun game! Hate to see all the technical difficulties happening w the events, hopefully that’ll get fixed soon. Thanks for the response❤️

You’re considered a loser unless you buy things. This game literally shot my anxiety and depression through the roof. At first it was fun for when I was bored, funny to see how many people were on there and fun to dress up. But after a few days you realize there are cliques, who are really just nerds who do nothing but sit on their phone all day worried about who’s online and their posts/pictures getting likes. Or catfish and people spamming. All of the kids in the cliques literally and physically ignore you unless you start buying (with real money, and a lot of it) all of the popular things the day they came out and basically forcing yourself into their conversations. You then realize they are all young adults who live with their parents, have no jobs, severe acne, no irl friends, literally live their life through fake popularity, also have depression and LOVE making sure you know about it and by bullying people. Basically they’re all Cartman... Also the people who created this app are extremely selfish, they charge so so so much for anything and everything on this game. And if you have an issue with your payment or bullying they do not respond nor care. It is a waste and you’re better off playing Pokémon.

Honestly... In my complete opinion it CAN be a fun game but the community is SO toxic. A year ago or so, I bought an account from a user for 10k gold. This girl claimed the person who sold it to me hacked it, WITHOUT even listening to facts they gave her a 48 hour notice to give me the 10k and banned her. THEN the staff refused to help me at all!?!!! I spent tons of bubbles on amazing items and spent 10k and they said it was my loss. After that the game was pretty much ruined for me. That being said I had played for 4 years before that happened so I was devastated when the staff treated me like that. I spent my own money to buy gold and then they refused to give me the 10k back EVEN THOUGH I LEGIT BOUGHT IT. They even BANNED ME FOR TWO DAYS because I had sold some of the bubble items on the account I had owned because I wanted to, so they said I wrongfully pawned items that weren’t mine????? Honestly I thought so highly of this game and spent years playing with my Twin on it but after the staff refused to help me I pretty much quit. Not worth it. What’s the point in having staff if they can’t even help you.

waste. this game has been an addiction for me for years. i recently started to play again and i’m realizing how messed up it is. no one is willing to help when something happens and i think that is bs. as well as that, hr has many features that us as a community have expressed we would love to have changed/new ones and they continue to ignore us. anything we chose to say that could improve the game for us, they do not listen. they have taken away the only features that are worth playing for and will not add anything else. hr is the most glitchiest thing i have ever played and the most messed up game. people are greedy and selfish (including the creators) and players who spend money on the game constantly are given special treatment. i do like the idea of this game and will continue to play ONLY because i have the sweetest friends on here. this game needs to improve itself(.)

Money hungry. This app was fun but ever since the beginning of this year all the developers do is find new ways to make more money. They don’t listen to the players and fix these basic issues like chat glitches…like come on this app has been available for YEARS and you can’t fix a chat problem ? For example if you’re in a room talking to someone, their chat bubbles just randomly stop popping up. This forces you to refresh and I’ve had to do this way too many times. Highrise is making enough money to fix this problem it’s pretty ridiculous that someone has to deal with this constantly . And that’s only ONE glitch that hasn’t been fixed . The developers don’t care enough to fix anything worth fixing they just add more and more bull crap that NOBODY asked for. This app is no longer worth it. DON’T spend money in it. Just be a free player. Or don’t play at all. Update (August 2022) : This review is STILL accurate and sadly the greed has gotten worse 🙄
