Deletes my progress. I love the game but sadly I had to put a three star review because every time my iPad accidentally turned off or just accidentally kicked me out of the game or I have a glitch and I get back into codeSpark I start working on my new project but then all my progress that I have done is gone only two pieces of my progress are still there and I have been working so hard on my breaking news channel but I just couldn’t because all of my progress is deleted except for two non-important bits please fix this problem or I will have to delete codeSpark because I am not able to make a game or a story or adventure please fix it and update it🥺🥺🥺🥺

Can you respond to this plz. I like this game, I like the whole game. Except for when it comes to pet pals. Pet pals is literally the only thing I do on here other than making stories, and yes I am 9. If I am in the middle of choosing a pet to take care of, I press the home button so I can exit the game. But then it says exit the game? All of today’s progress will be lost? Or something like that. So I do not know if you can fix that if you can thank you, if you can’t thank you for trying.

Bugged. 1. So before I went here to make this, I was making a story and wanted them to go to the tent but they went the opposite of that. 2. When I was looking in the inventory, I saw double everything and when I tapped on something the square outline went on both of them. 3. When I’m in the middle of doing something, it says there’s a error and then after a few minutes it kicks me out and I lose my progress. 4. When I went to the store to buy a few things, I left and it said You don’t have enough coins to buy that and then it took my coins. That’s all

Great game!🙊🐒🐸👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩🤩🥰😍. These kids learned so much in this game and just download it so much fun ! They have to make their own characters and they make stories it’s so adorable they make games and they say I need to get more more than a month like Waymore ha ha it’s awesome game guys get it download it and just yeah I love this game even though I’m a grown-up you got to get this love love love this game like yeah you have to get this these kids are counting on you listen they just gonna shower like crazy on you just just to get that game it’s awesome awesome awesome awesome emojis take that I don’t like this chatting I like this this game this game how many times have I say this I love this game love this game llllllllloooooovvvvveeee

Great customer service. I have two daughters who both love this app and share the same account. The younger one is very curious (and mischievous) and decided to test out what happens when she used the "Delete Profile" button. CodeSpark was able to recover the deleted profile TWICE! And one of the times, the profile had been deleted for quite some time. In a time where delete often means "gone forever" , it's great that a company prepares for the eventuality that a kid will (accidentally or otherwise) delete a profile and later regret it. I'm considering buying a Lifetime membership as a result of this great service.

ARGH THIS IS MY 3RD (probably gonna glitch) REVIEW. Hi I’m (can’t tell you cuz I’m not aloud to :v ) and I got my device as a Christmas present. CodeSpark was one of my first apps and one of my FAVORITE APPS. I played it everyday! I adore creating stories, and playing other coders games. Also, watching your little weekly fooville clips are so fun! But, I do wish you could communicate with other coders. I think the fact we could add an emoji or like someone’s game or story is cool, but it still can be confusing. Like, the TROLL EMOJI. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?!?!?!?!?! Also, the empty emoji. I worked so hard on my story and it just makes me very sad, though I have to respect their opinion. I just wish they could actually express why they thought it was empty. Communicating with other coders could help you make friends, get story ideas, and express your true feelings on someone else’s game or story. Hope you respond back!

Ok but not the best. I have played this game for three years but I have some doubts about it. First of all I need more things to do like once you finish every advancement in the game you are done and once you create a lot of games and you think you’re done you just wait for like five months and you just get unlimited coins and also there’s a glitch how do you try when you write the date for your parent control on it like 1991 it would also except 1919 which could cause some problems like kids could hack into their accounts so those are two things I shared that need to be fixed

Very good like the contests.. I think this app is very good it has the perfect mix of coding, playing, And creating also, not to mention the amazing contests and events and sure, making things with this app 24/7 like me CAN be hard but well heh I have room for energy. And with the new adventure game and more clothes I must give it a five star review. If this was 2021 and I reviewed this I would give it four. But now there is more room for fun and creativity! 5 stars! Edit: I have more, I like how fast codeSpark gets you into the water and sea of coding! And how fast it gets you out and dry! And I wouldn’t call myself needy but please bring more! We need it! We want it! Please give more! And please reply!

Hello I have a glitch, pls respond.. So I am having troubles finding my drafts in the game. When I need to look at my drafts, I must create a new game. I have made over 40 new unused games because I needed to look at my drafts. Is there a button I am not aware about? If not can you add one? I have been playing this game for over 3 years! All of the stuff from my past is so hard to get to! Pls fix this, or at least respond! 🥹 Other than that, this is my FAV game ever.

My poor little brother’s account disappeared. Hello, big sis here. My little brother had this awesome account that he played on every day. I have the app too but I don’t play as much. Then.. one day the account disappeared. Before you say ‘then log back in’ WE TRIED THAT. There was in the log in place we put in the things and IT WAS LITERALLY GONE. There was my account and my sis’s account, but my lil bro’s account wasn’t there. My dad tried to restore it but it was gone :c. He made another account but just now he gave up on codeSpark… He will probably never play it again. I will never play it again. I am frustrated with this game. Bye codeSpark…

It’s great!. I’m still 9 years old and I’m still enjoying it. but there are a couple a couple reasons I gave 4 star. basically I was trying to send out my project for the Amelia Adventure game contest but my game kept on getting reported for thing it didn’t include like bullying and I worked really hard on it. Number 2 too many restrictions, you’re not adding block and basically I want to add like a cannon in my game and make point towards the player but there isn’t any possible way to do that. number 3 glitches that have been around for a long time still isn’t fixed, a lot of kid coders have stuff I don’t but I’ve updated CodeSpark to it’s highest point but still don’t have it. To conclude it, it’s great!

I love codeSpark but one problem. I’m on vacation and every time I press on codeSpark then schools then students then log in with clever it takes forever to load. When it finally loads, it says Your iPad isn’t connected to the internet. So then I looked on the top of my screen. It was there and it was full. Then I powered down my iPad and it was doing the SAME thing! Then I swiped up and closed codeSpark and SAME thing! Then I deleted codeSpark and installed it.

Love it but some stuff.. So I love codeSpark and I’m soon to be (can’t tell age🤫😝🤫😝)and I love the game! So maybe fix the report button because ITS. NOT. WORKING. Next thing is… can you make a thing where you can like… ah I don’t know like maybe make a talking thing but when they tipe somthing comes up let’s say hey! I like your game. Could you- and then they tipe add and on the top add, and, or something else kid safe that starts with the letter A comes up you just tape on the word! So they can tipe to them but just a little different! I’m sorry if that’s to much… but could you also make a tipping area so they can tipe the name in and they come up incase they forgot to favorite something and go back!

Great, but why the subscription “reward” incentive?. My son loves the app, but after paying for the monthly subscription we are discovering “reward” items need to be earned by playing for particular time increments - one week, one month, two months, one year. Why is length of paid subscription time an incentive on items when content mastery should be the reward allowance in an educational app. That doesn’t sit well with me. Maybe the $80 full year payment doesn’t have those content restrictions, but the monthly option does.

WHY!?!. Why did my story get reported for no reason!!! It said it was being reported because of “bullying” BUT THERE WAS NOTHING BULLYING ABOUT IT!!!!!!!! All I said was “this story is a original story” and “please don't copy this story of any of my other stories. Bey!” This is literally the most frustrating game EVER!!! I tell you who should be reported, THE KIDS THAT COPIED MY STORY!!! Also your game has a copyright issue, and parents, don't get this game if you don't want your child to be frustrated. Do not recommend. The story is called the last people on earth part 3 and if you tell the in review person not to report it, it will give this game a 5 STAR REVIEW. AND STOP KIDS FROM COPYING MY STORIES AND OTHER STORIES!!!!!!!!!

I can’t explain how good you made this game!. Hi I’m in 3rd grade and I have asked my parents for coding games SO much and all they would say was “it cost too much bud” and I hate that, then when I got THIS app they said “maybe one day” and that happened a long time ago now I actually HAVE THE APP! I love stories and you can even make interactive stories and it’s so fun. I like this game and all but I’m hoping for chat, and I don’t mean where you can type stuff I mean like quick chat, in among us (not related to codeSpark) quick chat is like emojis in codeSpark just without the emojis, there are specific words that you have a option to tap on. The options I think are good are “amazing,” “O.K.,” “Really!” And “you’re really cool!”. And codeSpark is just amazing! Add more special events like defend the kingdom event and vote-pet-star event. Please respond!

WHY JUST WHY. I didn’t put it on ONE star because it’s a good game,i was going to make it four, but i played the game instead,and it took 3 hours to make my moive project,but right when i was scolling my work,i accidentally tap on my work,i tapped back,and then when i tried to ebit my project,3 parts of my project was gone!and others were scrambled,i cried and felt sick in my stomach,i had worked so hard,and now YOU guys made it amazing, sarcastically,that’s why i gave it two less star’s,i will never accept an update,only if it’s good for the problem i had,please help my problem and if you’re looking and read this all,Ty,and if you can help i am fine for us to be a great friend,Ty for reading my Review.

CodeSpark is great!. I love CodeSpark! Even though it is not exactly like actual coding, it helps little youngsters to develop the general idea of what coding is like. I love how there are, aside from the main map, additional features and levels you can practice on. My mom set up CodeSpark for my little siblings, but she said I could try it too if I wanted. I did try (obviously) and I am so glad I did! Thank you so much developers of this app! I have really enjoyed the multiplayer mode on the Splash Clash. This app deserves a full 5 stars!

JUST 💡s. Ok this first sentence or two is about fun requests. I was thinking 💭 maybe you could add more levels to Puppy Problems. When I saw there was no more to it I stared at the floor in disappointment. I do also have another idea. If maybe there could be a male and female character for every skin. But of course that’s not important. To me it is for some strange reason. Though of course it glitches. But it only glitches every once a year for me. Though I believe it’s for a younger age group than me but how they make the coding as if they were games is really intriguing and also never gets old. At least in my case it never gets old. The developers in my opinion take their time to really make this app special. I really do thank the developers for making this app. (Meant to say app). THIS IS MY FAVORITE CODING APP.💻🥳🤩

Not working. With the new update, some of the items don’t work. The first item is the doors. When I played a few games (to make sure that they all did that) I had all the jems but they didn’t open. Usually, the doors would open but they didn’t. It said I had all the jems or coins but it wouldn’t open. Next thing is the blocks. I don’t know what they are called but, they are like a block that is cut in diagonally. When I step on them they are just clear. When you try to step on it, it’s not stable.

Codespark is the best!. I began using the Codespark app as part of an elective for my elementary school students. I was quickly impressed by the ease at which they were able to develop the skills introduced by the app. My students have absolutely fallen in love with Codespark and are ecstatic with each update. I’ve found myself more and more impressed by the app, and the ways that they’ve enhanced my student engagement. Each time I open the app, I find new ways to introduce a variety of topics! Big thumbs up!!!

Just a few ideas. This game is awesome.i love the new update(creat-a-foo), but I want more. I want a item creator. In the creator, you can put images on a base of a item. And if you are done, you could publish it for others to use. You can also put other items and stuff on you're bases. You should also be able to make custom pets. draw on the custom items with tools such as a paintbrush, a pencil, and others. Oh, and one more thing. I want to be able to publish and share our custom foos.

My kids love this worth the cost. My kiddos went crazy when they saw this. It is very educational for any kids or kid coders this app is the best coding app we have came across. This is worth all the money spent on it. It is a awesome app for anyone to play with. It’s fun and if your friends have it you can check out there stores and games too! Or people all over the world! But it is a safe app for all ages, there is no bad words in it or informational questions asked. So the game is very thought out. Any kid or coder would enjoy this app. I hope this helps you! Codespark is a awesome game. This is such a cool game and if you’re thinking about downloading you should it’s the best game I’ve ever played and i’m having a tough time with the quarantine so after School on zoom it’s just a great to help you calm down you should definitely download it and for the people Who don’t like this game 😱🤬😡😨 codeSpark is such a great game and I don’t know why you don’t like it it’s an awesome game. Wonderful game but change this. I like to play this game at school because I like playing pet pals but now I’m on school break and I asked my mom for the game she said yes but then I released you have to pay for membership and I asked my mom she said no and I started crying because I really wanted to play pet pals and I only could play puzzles and it was boring and I am really upset now I’m even crying while typing this please make this game free so people who have money but the parents say no can play fun games or people who don’t have money but still can download this can play it’s so fun looking and wanna play but can’t please change this

Something went wrong. This game is so fun! It’s amazing and all but… my kids shared a story (or at least tried to share a story) and it got reported! It said “there was something illegal in the story” but it was called “time: the movie” and all it was about was a girl who traveled through time and went to different eras! There where no bad words, no inappropriate things, there was nothing bad in it! And not only that this game takes FOREVER to get a story shared. Here’s an example, my daughter just a few months ago posted the story “playtime” it took 8 weeks just to get reviewed and 8 weeks to get shared! Seriously!?!?!?!? Anyways, back to the story “time” there was nothing wrong with it! This has happened before even with story’s with no bad words, no child names, no child faces, no gross, inappropriate, or anything bad in it AT ALL! Wonderful App with Top Notch Customer Service. I cannot say enough great things about this app and company! My kids LOVE it so much! They play alone or together, sometimes on a video call with friends so they can share screens and work on designing levels together; which has been a great way to stay connected while physical distancing. I contacted customer service with a log in issue and it was quickly resolved. But then once logged back in, my kids’ profiles were gone. Sandra went through 1,000s of emails and found that I had unknowingly created two accounts, one of which I entered my email wrong. She took so much time just to recover the lost profiles with all of my kids’ levels they had made. I cannot tell you how wonderful she was!!! She was beyond kind and patient with me while resolving the mistake I had made. My daughter screamed in excitement when her profile was found! I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about this app and company!

Hi I think that we need like to actually write like a chat. It could be sensors to so nobody could say bad words. Kids could say what they think of the story,games,or venture that they take I think would be really cool since I’m one of those people who wants that he could give good criticism so they can make better games and videos and you can report some messages that seems off to you if you think that’s like bad writing or bad criticism hopefully this be in the game. I love the game goodbye thank you for your time.

Solicit with lower offers, then do not honor. I had a monthly membership but quit bc my daughter wasn’t using it enough. I received an email offering a lifetime membership for $70 as an earlybird sale. I tried all day to redeem, using various browsers, my phone, etc. and it wouldn’t process. The next day the price went up. I contacted customer service as they told me they do not offer lifetime memberships anymore. After I submitted proof of both offers, I did not receive a response. The emails continued. Since my daughter wanted it again,I tried to purchase at the higher price (still lifetime membership), but it still wouldn’t process. Clearly they want to hook you with a monthly membership. Talk about a scam, emailing offers that do not exist and then refusing to respond.

Gaming or Coding?. At first, I saw how interested my children were creating their own games on CodeSpark. However, after few sessions, they got hooked up on just playing games created by other kids , instead of continuing learning coding. At first, I was very happy to see my son liking and asking for CodeSpark; however, when I realized that he is just playing games this created by other kids and told him to start doing coding levels, he pretty much lost interest. I wish this option of playing games created by other kids had limited access or wasn’t available, so that the App stimulated more coding efforts and not just playing games. Kids will always find a way to play rather than learn.

Love it but needs some fixing. My 5 year old daughter Love it. Thanks for having this. I didn't realize how fun coding is. I've tried a little after my daughter is asleep it's pretty neat. The had a computer class in high school with the old floppy discs the big hole in the middle lol and we did coding I guess that's what you call it . Line by line the old dos way. It wasn't that fun but new to us so it was interesting. Anyways I'm happy my daughter loves it . It helps build good critical thinking skills which our kids need these days. Maybe I won't have to teach computer stuff to her so much . She'll be out doing me lol

I just want to learn. Hello, I’m 14 and my school doesn’t have any classes or really anything on coding and I would love to learn how and where to start and all that, so I took it upon myself to learn how. I saw an ad for this and hoped for the best. I downloaded it and apparently you must pay monthly for this. I understand it’s how they make their money and what-not but I’m only 14 and, of course, can’t do monthly payments especially since my parents are both poor and against the idea of learning from something other than what the school teaches us. I haven’t actually done any lessons or anything because I would have to pay which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the lessons could be amazing an work really well but I’m pretty sure and kid who actually wants to learn and not be forced to do something like this by their parents or school would love it if their were a stripped down version of the app that one could use and learn to do at least simple coding would be greatly appreciated by anyone looking to learn who might not be able to pay because of the situation their in. Besides, shouldn’t education be free? Especially for kids who want to learn?

I can’t pay. Hi I’m Savannah and I’m 8 and I would like to do this app but I can’t because I have to pay and my parents don’t have the money for that. The school that I go to doesn’t provide this learning. I don’t like that they make us pay because for kids who don’t have rich parents and can’t afford this app it’s hard to learn coding. It especially hard for kids who don’t have coding at there school and would like to learn. I haven’t played anything in this app because I can’t pay and I gave this a two star instead of one because the apps may be great but I can’t pay.

is it just me or is my wifi off?. hey how’s it going and this app is LEGIT but when i go to the looooooooooong story i made (which had 18 pages) i usually tapped the foos that I made until I got to the next page. which i actually did. but when i got to page 2, it said “loading scene” and it took forever and when I look at it, NOTHING was colored in at the loading bar. and also, this game is top notch but still. i think it needs a teensy bit of work. :) i tried closing all of my apps and going back to the game but it but it redone the problem/situation/loading issues. thank you for your acceptance. But once something worse happened in it! I was about to play with the person online but instead something worse . So I was about to play with the person online and it made the AI play instead of the person online and I had to go back so I was really mad 😡 that that happened because no one showed up. Unintuitive contra productive interface. After paying and signing in, first page doesn’t lead to anywhere. It has two active buttons, parent and teacher. After repetitive unavoidable filling out of my birthdate in both categories, teacher page leads nowhere, parent page leads to another page which doesn’t recognize that I am signed in, nor asks for it. Only one time showed up a page through same selection process with downloads, which was the only way to play one lesson and that was it. To get back to that page is through a labyrinth of repetitive actions, but still never showed up again. That alone is quenching user experience, and I will unsubscribe this application. I am not happy somebody published this application which feels like it’s early beta version (not to be published developmental stage). Hard to believe MIT was involved with this unless interfacing is very underestimated, outsourced and weakness of a brilliant mind which I was hoping can teach my child what I cannot.

I like it but I think I need some updates. Hi I really like this game but one problem is that I think I need some few update for example, like what if you can comment on adventure, stories, and games and what if you can add like a back section in created a foo oh, so what if we have a random which means that they can get so many ideas and what if you can add some new pets foos or other stuff or maybe you can add a customize foos and pet section. That would be so much fun. I remember this. Third grade. Something is wrong 😡. When I was making a game something weird happened I was going to test the game and then it started to take two hearts away and I went to go and fix it for a little while and then it starts to take all my hearts and I’m starting to get really annoyed 😒 and triggered and it has been doing it to some of my games and when I want to make a brand new story and when I want to watch someone else’s it kicks me out of the game but I love the game a lot but there is just two things wrong about the game that I want you to fix please.👍

Crashes Constantly. My daughter loves this app but it crashes almost constantly these days. I found out because she said she doesn’t use it anymore and I asked why. She said it always closes and she has to start over. So I install the latest update and sure enough - I tried it 5 times and it crashed within 60 seconds every time. I don’t mind paying $10/mo for a great app, but it’s been a long time since I’ve seen an app crash this much.

Hi!. Hi, I’m Ayana Winterjoy, and this is an awesome game! I would’ve made it 4 and a half stars but I couldn’t. Anyway I love the game especially the story making. The limit is supposed to be your imagination, but really, the limit is the things in the store. I was thinking, what if we could make our own things. And know what your thinking, (then what would be the point of the coin’s?) what if it cost money to make objects/animals? Hi! I love tech!. My name’s uuuuhhh it starts with an s so there’s that. But I’m in 4th grade and my old school didn’t have tech but when I changed schools and had a tech class by the time summer came I was so upset I had to leave school. Then I found this game. I have had this phone for a long time but getting this game made it feel like a new device. I love codeSpark academy and I definitely recommend it for other kids like me with that love for technology. Now on to complaints. Uuuumm let me think. Honestly, I can’t think of a single complaint! And I’ve reviewed a good couple of games and all of them have at least one complaint! Subscription approach is ridiculous.. 10 dollars a month to use an app. Seriously? It used to be free to use and pay for add ons. I understand the need to earn money but who in their right mind thinks it makes sense to spend 120 dollars a year to use this app? You can pay a one time payment less than that for full access to professional apps, games, software, etc. out there of equal or better production value. No offense to the developers but, making a point. This should be a one time payment offering that includes a sampling of different games and development access. Cancelled subscription at the beginning of the summer and STILL getting charged!. Oh well, it’s only $8.47 per month including tax which is annoying but not not the end of the world. I’ve reached out to them several times with no response but at this point I’ve paid over $80 for an app we don’t use. I’m sure I’ll get busy again this month and just say screw it after writing this and then forget to try for an umpteeth time to cancel. The App itself it awesome though and my kids loved it the first month or two they played it, the problem is that they don’t use apple devices and I’m not letting them use my iPad anymore. If I can get this reoccurring bill fixed (and yes I’ve canceled on their website) I’ll give them 5 stars for the app and 1 star for their billing. For what it’s worth, I don’t think they’re trying to rip anyone off, but after trying a few times to reach out and receiving no response and also going through their own cancelling process a few times, I’m getting annoyed~

Fun, Challenging, and Hard to Put Down. My child loves the adventure of playing with other children on the Internet in a safe and secure environment. We, together, have learned a lot about coding through playing games. My child does not seem to connect fun games to learning difficult lessons. We are learning at our own pace. Obviously I could join because I already had an account. So EVERYONE including me had to play on the website and I made a new account. So we have fun me and that other kid told everyone all the cool features. Then I get home and play. Codespark Academy to my surprise, IT WAS THE SCHOOL ACCOUNT! So. I had to log back in and it didn’t work so I asked my Mom to help. she put in the information and it STILL DIDN’T WORK. So I tried again and it worked luckily. Besides that amazing game, I would recommend, and awesome features!

Absolutely the Best. I use codeSpark Academy with my extracurricular students (formerly in person, now online) and we all love it. Teachers and staff will also enjoy playing the puzzles and building stories to share with the classroom. Beware the billing!!. Good app, but be SUPER careful that you uncheck the box which automatically renews a yearly subscription. With no warning, another yearly subscription was deducted from my credit card. And for days I have been trying to access the ‘My Account’ section of the app to stop further payments, but it won’t work. It just would have been courteous to be given a choice prior to the next subscription. Busy working parents can’t remember random things that happened 12 months ago!! Costly mistake.

Subscription fees. Hello, I had a family friend download this app and kids always on my iPad playing games. Then low and behold I got deducted hundreds of dollars for subscription fee and “ was not entitled for a refund” due to kids having played on subscription mode. The app is great but support / customer care is horrible!!. The app itself is great but their tech support / customer support team is so inefficient and not helpful. I purchased the lifetime subscription during Black Friday and I followed their instructions for redeeming it but the system just wouldn’t recognize a lifetime subscription has been redeemed. I reached out to their support team more than a week ago now and have been going back and forth with the rep. I followed all of their instructions and still can’t access the app with the subscription I’ve paid for. I have provided countless screen shots and proof of purchase and now the rep is telling me he can’t find in his system that’s I’ve purchased a lifetime subscription and he can’t help me!!!!! It’s sooooo frustrating. I’ve provided screen shots of my visa bill, email confirmation of my purchase with my email showing, and the rep just keep throwing the problem back to me when it’s clearly an system error!!! I have not had such a horrible experience with a tech company, you think they’d be techy enough to sort through their own system issue rather than making it the customer’s issue!!!

Unacceptable. So my child was playing what seemed like a decent coding game when I suddenly heard, “You’re ugly and dumb. I hate you,” with some vampire-looking cartoon character on the page. I love it but.... I love it but one problem with creating games. Whenever you change the character and get out without testing it, and you get back to it, the character will look like it’s facing the front of your screen when it runs right, and it looks like it’s facing the back of the screen when it runs left.(only for custom characters)

Awesome App for Teaching Coding. My first graders are really enjoying this app. The lessons are engaging and easy to follow. The challenges become increasingly more complicated but allow for learning and success the teacher guide and interface is well designed. It is also immensely helpful. My class is just loving this! One note: signing up and signing in with Clever can create issues so try to avoid that for now.

Great game but a few issues. Hi! I’m in second grade and the issue is that why does it take sooooooooooooooooo long to load things for me. For example I was trying to look at my story I made, and guess what? It took almost 2 hours to load and it was frustrating. Again great game just a few issues. I love this game. The coding, making videos and making your own games! Also the other game on the bottom. This makes me so happy I can’t stop playing it! Also my little sister likes playing it. And at first, I didn’t know how to use this game because it was a little bit of weird to play but when a little bit more years I got used to it.

Sound broken. We thoroughly enjoy this game, however, recently, the sound stopped working within the game. Sound still works if I go to the parents section and watch the video for parents. But when my child tries to play the game, we get no sound. Maybe a recent update broke the sound?

TRASH. This app is so bad!! I can’t even name half of the bugs in it. My child came up to me the other day and showed me one of the stories in posted and it was telling her to DRINK BEACH!! I think that this is so inappropriate and something needs to be done about it. Kids post terrible stuff on stories. My suggestion is to just delete the stories and only allow games. Mostly Great. So far the app has been pretty good. It does occasionally crash for no reason but that’s been a minor issue. I do wish there was some sort of explanation of the various pieces you can “buy” with the coins you earn in-game, as it is sometimes confusing what they are. Even a single explanatory word above each menu would not be out of place, and you could still keep the picture icons for the kids who can’t read yet.

Great for pre-readers. Most educational apps on the market require your child to be reading already so that they can read the instructions or follow along with the prompts. We love that there are no words in this game. The games have to be “figured out” by pushing buttons and feeling out what each on does and then they can piece it together in their mind and they take off from there..my favorite games are the sequencing ones. A dignified approach. I remember 2 years ago i wrote a review about codespark. I was complaining about the subscription. I was 8 and a half. I am now 10 and will try at a much more dignified approach. I will start of with the fact that there are parents complaining about this subscription. Poor customer service. The app itself is fun and my kids enjoyed it. My poor review is based on their terrible customer service. I canceled our membership a few days before it was scheduled to renew, however I was still charged a few days later on the 1st of the month. When I contacted customer service they said they could not locate my account (because it was no longer active since I had canceled it) so they could not reimburse me for the extra month I was charged. So I paid for an extra month and no longer had an account to use it…

Great app for early elementary!. I love the Foos app because it is designed to work really well with early elementary students. It has a great story line and lovable characters. It’s challenging enough so that students do not get bored. It is very engaging and allows students to move through the levels at their own pace. It also allows them to challenge themselves and build their own levels. I love using this app in my first grade classroom.

Codetastick!. It’s fun and collectible but it also makes you want more money and’s more expensive to spend it in a different game and more fun for the game and the same reason people are getting more expensive. The more money you spend it the less time you’ll be getting to enjoy the games and more money you have to invest (enjoy from mollycmmgamer)

Makes coding funner for kids. My two kids enjoy spending hours coding. We went from hrs of watching videos with no educational purpose to this. This was a great investment into my kids future. They definitely are walking away with learning something new, as well as learning to problems solve. WORTH EVERY DIME 👍

Fake coding. Umm... hello? This is pretty dumb because this does not have things like java or c#. It’s pretty cool that you won awards but this just teaches things like do a loop and put it in snaps. In real coding it uses a real lot of words and when u said in the ad “they don’t realize they’re learning” it’s only like kinda true cuz they are learning things that are not in coding. So thank you for bringing me all these ads but I looked at them and said “these are fake!!” So please improve if you want or just stay ignorant.

I have a question and a bug. How do you get glitch character? I seen him in some story’s made by people and in games and in platformer games too please tell me there’s a bug on the search for game the problem is with it is that if you search it will not show it will say not found

Hello my name is Jayden I got this game because I had it at school and it was fun I I played it online it’s called codeSpark and I love it so that I would get it I I asked my mother and she said she would get it for me it was so fun I got it yesterday and I love it already well I put it at school for the whole today’s the last day of my school oh that is so happy I was able to play this game after school everyone should give this game five stars.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Somethings a little bit odd. So the game is pretty good at all but when I got the beam me up for some reason, I only seen it in the platform or thing but for some reason, I don’t see it in the adventure mode in story mode I was wondering if you can fix it but still it’s pretty good and plus the games I shared were pretty amazing. We love you CodeSpark!. My 10 year old loves this app and always wants to play! He quickly understood coding, and now wants to learn more! There is one little bug that happens whenever you press create a story it glitches and takes you out of the app. Nevertheless this is an awesome app and I highly recommend it. Thank you codeSpark for getting my child so into coding!

Can’t Cancel. I signed up for a “free trial” which i then canceled as my daughter did not enjoy the game enough for the $7.99 monthly fee. I canceled through Apple and i sent codeSpark an email almost a year ago and have recently discovered that even though they acknowledged my cancellation request my account was never canceled and they’ve since charge me 11 monthly payments on account that shows expired in my records. Disgusting!! I’ve sent a couple of emails to support and have had no feedback!! Run for your life and don’t sign up for anything with this rip off of an app!!!

I am a kid. I can’t pay for the app!!!. First of all don’t send me something to email you like your email and stuff cause I can’t email or go on a lot of sights. They are blocked cause I am only ten. What I want to say is that if you don’t remove the having to pay per month thing I am going to delete the app. Can you make it so kids can sign up with like a made up user name and password. My parents won’t let me pay for a app that when I got it was free and you did not have to be a member to play!!! Fix this and I will be happy. -unhappy customer

The game Is great but pls add this it is to update your game by clicking a arrow on your game button oh and also make like multiplayer games by putting a foo button and shows how many people are on and be able to switch from like adventure to like plat-former that’s all thanks.

For being an app development game - this app sure is poorly developed.. Thought I’d download this for my kids. Right off the bat I noticed how clunky the app was. It requires landscape orientation, when you place a cursor on the text field you cannot see it and then when I tried to add a second kid there was no way to do it. When I went online to their Q&A page (which wouldn’t load properly) to see if I was missing something - nope not refers to a “menu button in the top left corner” that does not exist. Total waste of 30 minutes of my time downloading to the kids devices.

So Good!!!. Oh my gosh Curtis Park academy a super good what does it have I might be able to one day make my own video games this app is so much fun yeah you should’ve definitely play it it’s not a rip off you don’t have to pay for anything, you can play with other people, you can see the stories games and even have some fun coding!

My favorite coding app for k-3. I use this app with my k-2 students and often have my third graders requesting it as well. The on-screen prompting without the need for reading allows my young learners to succeed with coding even before they can read. I love the new storytelling feature too! My favorite mini-game is the crocodile catch one with the greater than and less than equations. Just awesome!

CODESPARK READ PLZ. Kids use bad words in a story so make that one scary cop guy if they try posting a story with a bad word in it. Also send the cop guy if a story has a different spelling of a bad word (Someone used a similar word as a bad word). The chances of a bad word story is at %21. Let’s drop that to 0! Best Coding App for K-2 Students!. As a technology teacher, I love using this app with my K-2 students. It is a great way to teach basic coding concepts to young students. The kids get so excited when using this app - especially when they see the Glitch! I also like how students are to apply what they learned by creating their own games and stories with the characters. Job well done!

Violent content not monitored. Mother of 9 year old here to say that in the last 5 days of having this app, which I thought would be educational, I have been astounded at the violent and hate filled scripts of the videos that these kids are creating. It has caused my daughter to also act out in hate filled verbal and physical violence and have nightmares. They say it is monitored, but even if reported, it isn’t taken down immediately and the damage is already done. If you are allowing your kids to get this app, be prepared to report report report. This is not how we create a better world for our kids. STOP FUELING HATE!

The Tickets. CodeSpark is great, but I’d suggest that you would remove the bus tickets. I say this because you know about Secret Sneak Quest challenge? Yeah, it ends on the 20th and I got a bus ticket on the 19th. Thinking about how long it takes to share projects, I’ve decided to write this review about those tickets. Love it. but. I love this game 1day it had an update it made it better but they got rid of the snoopy snow ball thing probably because they came up with splash clash which is exsatley the same but summer and not snoopy except for that I love this game the only reason I give this 4 stars is because they got rid of the snoopy thing also it's the peanuts movie we call it by the dogs name snoopy plus the snowball thing is snoopy and the yellow things. I love codespark academy so much because it teaches my kids so many good things well I’m kind of a kid but it doesn’t really teach my mom or dad or anything but he just mean things because it teaches me that I can do so many good things with it and it’s so cool I love it so much and thank you so much for doing everything with it so I could have such a good time

Just bought the lifetime subscription. Update: customer service is awesome and took care of everything. As the title says, bought the lifetime subscription: 1. Didn't receive a receipt from them 2. The app requires me to sign in every time I start it and then I have to press restore purchases, which hung the first time 3. Once I restore purchases there's no way to proceed to try a game. 4. I go to the parent area and that doesn't really have any options 5. Can't even open the teacher area as it does nothing after entering my pw Please reach out to me CS. I would like this to work and do not want to have to ask for a refund.

Really?!?. I love this game! Ever since my 2nd grade teacher introduced us to it, I didn’t just play it at school, I played it at home! There’s a problem though. Why do you have to sign up for something just to have all the levels and features? I really want to play all the things in the app, so can you take away the signing up part and let everyone play everything in the game so we can all be happy? That would be great.

SUGGESTION TIME!. #1: Can you add water and lava to Adventure Mode? Oh, and more commands, pets, Foos, et cetera! #2: More character customization things, like prosthetic limbs, hearing aids, wheelchairs, and more faces! #3: Maybe add in more enemies, objects, and/or items. #4: Pleeeease add the microphone to the Adventure Games! Getting better and better. I have been using codeSpark for the last year and a half at my school and at home with my kids (4 and 8 years old). Every time when there is an update, so many new tools and challenge. Great for critical thinking and introducing basic computer science concepts in a fun and educational way.

My Class Loved This App. Another teacher introduced me to CodeSpark. My 4th grade students used the app during the last 5 months of the school year. It was immediately a hit. It was highly engaging and offered both coding activities as well as free choice games. Many of my students finished all of the coding levels before the end of the year.

I really like this game!. It’s so fun to play! But I do think it’s pretty AWFUL that you have to pay A LOT of money. Can there be a new maker that we can make escape room games and new codes the new codes will be explode and punch and a run jump oh and a new control called k.o the k.o will do 10 hearts down and if you have 20 hearts. Speaking of 20 hearts in the maker when we test or play we get 20 hearts when we get k.o from a enemy then we lose 11 hearts! so watch out for them. Thx

My Children’s Favorite Coding App. My children say that The Foos is THE BEST coding app ever made in the universe and it makes my children so happy, they say it couldn’t have been this much fun without all the other kids out there who create some of the media and especially Splash Clash, my kids say that without Splash Clash, codeSpark would almost be dumb and I hope that codSpark will last forever and ever!
