Fantastic App!. Love this app, it makes managing my health care really easy. It’s so nice to get my test results and have a record of them and also to be able to contact my doctor. I love this app!

Additional people bug. When trying to add additional people, especially ones with the same name, the app goes nowhere. This seems to have come up on recent updates. It used to work. When I click on the plus sign, my contacts come up. Those with a different name are picked immediately. Those with a similar name go to the full contact info page and no further. I have to go to the native calendar app to add that person.

Best App. Honestly as a young adult who struggles with organization and dealing with medical bills, appointments etc, this app makes it extremely easy to navigate and organize your needs. It deserves a full 5 star rating. If you have Stanford, you seriously need this app because it will genuinely make your life more organized. From ordering your prescription, looking for doctors, messaging your physician, setting up appointments, paying bills and more, it’s super easy! 10/10

Big disappointment. For me, it is a nonstarter that my health care provider does not integrate with the Epic MyChart Central patient portal. This lets me connect my electronic health records from past providers. Unfortunately, in the USA, I don’t own my health record. Every provider has its own implementation. And every time I change employers, I need to change providers. Stanford MyHealth was on the list of participating EHRs on MyChart Central. However, when I signed up, I found myself on a site that had no function to pull in my earlier charts. The app also does not support letters, meaning I can’t get them in the app, but have to go visit the web site.

Never remembers password, doesn’t use Keychain or FaceID. I use complex passwords for everything. This app makes that tough. It doesn’t remember me, include FaceID, or trigger Keychain. That means that every time I open the app, I have to go to my computer, open my password manager, find my password, and then manually type a long complex password into the app without making a mistake. End result, I absolutely hate using this app. It makes doing something urgent impossible and something simple complex.

Please increase the character limit in the “message to Doctor” section. Please increase the character limit in the “message to Doctor” section. 1000 is not enough to articulate most messages.

Too many updates. Every week it seems there is a new update. How about fixing it properly so we don’t have to update every week?

Version 7: test results disappeared!. Less than a year of test results are now visible. I rely on ability to look up and show these results to other doctors when I visit them. Please put these back!

Bad Service. The system makes you download a new browser in order to login and just continues to reroute anyone back to the browser page until this is done. Changes to the system need to include all available browsers. This is not customer friendly or customer focused at all…

Not a bad start. This app does help communication with doctors and specialists for those using the Stanford healthcare system. My biggest issues are that not only is there not a separate app for the iPad, but Apple Pay is not supported—it really should be, in this day and age.

No access for family members. How to register kids and 18yo dependent on the app? I had no trouble going to Kaiser where 1 login allows for selection of any member of the family. Very frustrating experience.

Login Issue. The first thing user does is to login to the app. I do remember my userid/password. I was only able to login at the doctors office. At home it’s very rarely I successful logging in. What good is an app if it fails 9 out of 10 times. Here’s is the error I keep getting. There was a problem communicating with the server, please try again later.

Easy AP to use. Great ap that is easy to use. Very easy to get messages from my doctor or to make an appointment.

Need to improve... Stanford need to improve the service and atenttion any time when we try to make or schedule appointments that are necessary in the short time and not for 2/3 months in front. More comments about the blood pressure tester many times are out or with wrong lectures. Just improve and will be the best one. Thanks.

I expected better. I concur with most of these other reviews. One would expect better than this app. Man in the heart of technology that’s the best that Stanford of all hospitals could do? You absolutely need tablet support. Disappointed!

Best App!. Best app I have ever used! Fast, easy to use with all clear information

No landscape on iPad. It’s absurd that there is no landscape mode for iPad. The app is nearly useless when an iPad is docked to a Magic Keyboard. iOs 15 does force the screen to rotate, but it’s still a miniature and unreadable. It’s 2021 and Stanford should fix this.

Great app, but missing iPad version. The app works very well and is very easy to use, but unfortunately, it doesn’t have an iPad version so you can only view the iPhone small area on the large iPad screen, which is not a good experience. In this day and age, not having an iPad version is inexcusable, especially for an institution like Stanford University.

Sarah. Convenient & easy to access!

Great app. I use this on my iPad and I get a full screen look. I use it for video visits too. It’s great! I have other doctors that don’t use this particular app and it’s not nearly as user friendly.

IPad version needed. Very strange that a university with huge financial resources, located in the heart of the Silicon Valley, and pushing more and more medical visits to remote, can’t produce a quality app. Having an iPad optimized version of MyHealth would be a good start. Come on Stanford.

Please fix, so many issues. I hope someone from Stanford’s tech reads this and fixes it. I have so many issues w/this app. I am disabled w/16 specialists at Stanford, so I use the app often. The issue that comes in mind today is that you can’t copy/paste your message in the app, but can in the mobile site. Since only 1000 characters are allowed per msg and my health conditions are complicated, I often have to type my message in notes on my iPhone and paste it into the message to check word count. Unfortunately, even though I read messages in the app, I then have to sign into the mobile site to gain access to the “paste” function. I have more examples, but this is the most annoying one... Why can’t the app mirror the mobile site in functions? Also, why do some doctors use Zoom for one-on-one, while others use the app? Also, why can’t you program blurred background for users on the app to mimic the green screen the doctors use? Patients like privacy just as much as physicians. What about simple things like printing a list of my medications or health conditions or doctors? A print function would be helpful… mirroring the mobile site. Pls fix the app.

New Health App. Live in a rural area with poor wi-fi. Trying to put in info requested for video appt in the morning. Health App keeps telling me to upgrade and no way! The appt is with 2 Stanford Doctors tomorrow, and I can only hope we can get through. I think phone calls should be considered for situations like these. Very frustrated.

Nice but with issues. The billing system is odd. It only shows each bill separately but does not show you the current balance.

No password manager support. I have a complex password to protect my health record that is managed by Apples password manager. This apps login does not support any password manager, yet even the built in Apple one. I am forced to open it up and manually copy my password anytime I want to use the app. This takes 1-2 minutes. Please fix your password field.

New app. You have taken away a good service for people that have an old phone. I use my health at Stanford all the time. Now I have nothing but try to call. What a hassle! You had a good thing and you high tech the people that need it out. Very unfair! I was suppose to have a Video appointment next week, now what do I do. I live over 250 miles away. I’ve always bragged about my care and service from Stanford. But it seems you want only those people that can afford all the expensive gadgets. Ben Jones I have one more surgery in two days at Stanford and I can’t look up information on my phone to ready myself, thanks a lot

Unusable. Unusable, can’t view payment history because the date range widget is broken, it takes a while to load statements, difficult to go back to the previews screen from a statement, etc. I basically have to use the website on a computer instead in order to get things done

Helpful app but…. That would be excellent except that it does not have landscape view. I am bedridden and use a stand for my iPad and it is virtually impossible for it to be used in portrait mode.

Doesn’t work. App won’t open unless you perform the update. Update completed. The app continues to say an update is needed to open. :-/ App is useless Edit: App, eventually, one day started working again with no changes on my end. However, contact from developer says I have version 2.4. App Store clearly says I have version 2.8. 🤷‍♂️

Great. I have been using the app for about 6 months so far it is working great.

Love this!. This app is fabulous! It has been so helpful to keep track of tests and doctors since developing a thyroid condition. One drawback is that my primary provider at Stanford health does not use the app, so some of my information is not accurate. It would be even better if ALL doctors at Stanford health used the app.

Totally Inadequate. What a total failure on behalf of Stanford Healthcare to create a video app for senior citizens to ONLY be able to use on mobile phones. I suspect it’s no problem for a Gen Z patient to talk with their Stanford Healthcare physician through a 5” phone LCD. EVERY other virtual meeting app works on larger screen computers including portals created for Physicans in other healthcare systems. But Stanford Healthcare forces patients to use a cell phone. Again ... another failure from Stanford Healthcare.

Bugged throughout.. Stanford health increasingly requires that I use this app for all medical issues and since they have info for health and insurance reasons they have all my personal data. This app is so not ready for prime time, it’s laughable. For instance, it makes appointments that neither I nor my doc requested. It sends text and redundant email reminders for these unrequested appointments. It sends text and redundant email reminders to look at test results which don’t exist. I guess it’s a situation of the shoemaker’s children having no shoes. Located in the heart of Silicon Valley and educating some of the world’s most brilliant software engineers, it appears that Stanford health has cut a lot of corners (including inadequate pre-publishing testing for glitches) on software engineering it’s very bad app.

Updating medications!. I have sent the list of my medications to them 2 times and asked them to correct the list on the app but they have not. One thinks something as important as the medications that you are taking should be 100 percent correct, but not the Stanford health care /app or whatever.

Stanford my health app. First I use the Stanford app. Was great. Than later couldn’t let me log in. After that day I never able go back to use the app. It is very inconvenient for me. I called Stanford technician many many time still not able to log in. 😱😱😱

Love it!. Works flawlessly. Being able to visit with my Dr. remotely is a godsend.

Need iPad version with horizontal layout capable. This is a great iPhone App with add-on capabilities. However, we also need iPad App with horizontal capability especially with the video clinic visit available today. Hope the iPad App will be available soon.

Well designed. As a patient, I find the app well laid out and highly functional. However, when I get notified of something, it’s not always clear on the app as to how I get to what I was notified for. The notifications icon in the top corner of the app does not show all notifications but rather just a subset. For example, I received a push notification “Assigned content from your care team”. Tapping that opened the app but just brought me to the Home Screen. Clicking the notifications icon did not list this push notification. Only after reading an email for the same notification did I learn how to get to underlying content.

Still not working well on ipad. I found it unacceptable that we still cannot rotate the screen on iPad. The screen size on iPad is just as small as the iPhone. I can’t see the document the doctor tried to do screen shared with me because everything is so small.

Great and useful app!. I have found myself using the services of several Stanford specialists due to some ongoing issues with my ears. I downloaded and set up the app before my first appointment. It is so incredibly useful and well laid out! Within the app from my iPhone I can e-check in, message and reply to my doctor, review my visit notes, view and upload my test results, and so much more. The app is also fully compatible with Face Unlock, which makes getting into the app an absolute breeze. I can’t recommend this app enough for Stanford patients- it really is a no-brainer!

Good app but not the best user experience. I cannot believe the look and feel of an app of a humongous hospital chain looks so primitive and vintage. It gets the job done but would really appreciate if the following are taken care of: animations, swift movement between pages, icons, drill downs in pages when you click on name of the doctor/ medicine etc.

Needs work. Overall, this app is fine. The main issue for my use is that the screen view does not rotate for landscape use. I use a keyboard with my iPad and every time I open the app I have to use it sideways or completely remove my iPad from the cover/keyboard. This is really a no-brainer, but here we are. It is especially crappy when trying to use it for my online visits where the app stays in portrait mode. It is infuriating to have to constantly remove my iPad from its holder just in order to use this app. Really not thought out. Don't you people use your own products? Time to find programmers who think and feel, and don't just sit there dreaming about their tesla in the parking lot... really.

Needs an iPad version. The app otherwise is serviceable. But until it’s as useful as picking up the phone it often just gets in the way of what you want to do. It makes it very hard to contact a provider to ask a simple yes or no question like “I’m bleeding from my fingernails, should I make an appointment or go to the emergency room?” How are you supposed to manage your care when the design strategy of the app is to make it harder to contact your care provider?

It’s a start, but really needs work.. The basics work ok. It really needs an iPad version, though. Under the circumstances of COVID-19 video appointments between myhealth iOS not properly supporting the iPad, and video on the myhealth website being IE only (I thought we were a decade away from that being common) video appointments are far clumsier than they could so easily be.

So annoyed. So annoyed how dysfunctional the messaging application feature is. Will erase the 1000 character capped messages which often need to be minimized momentarily to reference complex medical documents and jargon. Attachments feature will also erase messages. Seriously unstable and buggy. Could have been coded by a child not to erase text while in the application. Epic fail. Please address. Some app features not fleshed our but have potential- assuming someone develops them one day. Idk

Login fields not properly setup. The login fields do not allow you to use saved passwords. This is such a basic thing that it scares me to use the app. If they can’t get that simple thing right then it’s hard to trust them with my medical information. A regular app I would just take off a star for this but medical apps need to be very closely scrutinized so something this egregious drops it to one star even though I haven’t even logged in yet.

It’s Superapp!. Started using it three years ago even before it was clear my diagnosis was MS. Since then I now have/had four Stanford MD’s from four departments, love the app (don’t ask, but I am old enough to have been a kid when the B&W TV series starring the late Christopher Reed was part of my introduction into television - google it!) The website (that preceded the app) improves each time I visit and is indispensable for the aging and somewhat challenged brain. You youngsters will understand some day. Stay healthy, but get that app!

Excellent & Easy to Use. A previous reviewer is wrong about not having the app available for the iPad. I have it on my iPad Pro. This is a very nice app that is user friendly. It does the job without a bunch of unnecessary features. Good job.

Good functionality on iPhone only. 3 stars for iPhone and 0 star for iPad. On iPhone it works great. But on iPad it is not supported, the screen size is not native. Any plans to add iPad support? Used to use My Chart on iPad but now My Chart is no longer supported.

Good but needs more accessibility. This app has been great but it needs a few adjustments to accessing doctors and billing. As well l, as scheduling. The Standford Children’s app you can message the billing department on invoices rather then call them and have long periods of wait times on hold when needing to work on incorrect invoices billed to patients. This app does not allow you to message the billing department about invoice errors. Another issues is, it says you can schedule appointments with your doctors office but you really can’t. It just leaves a number for you to call to make appointments. It’s not consistent. Set aside from this feed back I like the appointment reminders and e-check in. But that’s really all you can actively do with the app. The Standford Children’s health is completely interactive and it would be great to see that same quality work with the adult patient app for Standford.

Data cannot be retrieved. After updating to the latest version I get an error when trying to view my appointments with a message saying "unable to retrieve data ..." Please fix this ASAP. I use this app daily and rely heavily on it for my appointments and messages to my medical team.

Terrible and spammy. This app is terrible, non stop alerts that are incorrect. Incessant commands to check in for appointments days away. When I try to login to stop the spam the app claims that I didn’t have a valid password. Despite the fact that I’ve use the password before. Stanford apparently loaded back laboratory tests I kept notifying me that tests were available, I don’t want a notification that I had a test a year ago! The only way to get around this was to delete the app, and in addition I’m going to have them remove my phone number from my records. It seems pretty drastic but after a weekend filled with phone calls and alerts I’ve had it with Stanford.

Wonderful App. However it doesn’t have a way to print out the info...

No Keychain Access. App doesn’t work with keychain, can’t sign in immediately after choosing “use strong password”

Great App. I do love this app, but wish they would add an alert for needing a prescription refill request. Apparently there is a delay of 7-10 business days to get a refill request processed. Knowing 2 weeks prior to the needed medication would be very helpful. That recommendation aside, it is a great app.

Very convenient! Awesome app if you are expecting!. I got this app when I first found out I was pregnant. It is really helpful having notification reminders of appointments pop up on my phone a few days before and the day of my appointments. I like that all my information from each one of my appointments is always listed, as well as my test results. I never have to waste time again waiting and calling my doctor back because she would send me a personal note over the app letting me know about my test results. I always pay my bills online, so being able to pay my bills over the app is convenient. My favorite part of the app is being able to send a message to my doctor and having her or her assistant respond back within a few hours of sending. I have never had any problems with this app and I first downloaded it August 2017. I would highly recommend this app to anyone.

No choice for iOS 13. There is no link to update to older version of the app. And the Message frozen the front page of my Health. So I cannot use My Health now.

Really shezr. Thanks Thanks Send t rEs aw ESTIMATES rwe is a good day to really Tracy’s a as to ya Ryants

Technical issues. This app is useful now in pandemic times, but there are far too many glitches and technical issues. I had an virtual appointment I missed because the app kept shutting down and closing. PLEASE RESOLVE ISSUE

Excellent step in modernization of medical care. This is a great app, because all of the info you need is in one place- plus you find out test reports quickly. Also the ability to transfer appointments to a regular calander on the computer is super helpful. Only suggestion is if you can make the app turn when holding an Ipad or Iphone sideways, like most apps do...this app only will be in the vertical position and wont' rotate!

Please Update Application. Please optimize application for iOS 13 so that I can tap to call. The “tap to call” functionality is not available on iOS 13.

Doesn’t talk to the password store. Seriously? I’m going to try to downgrade.

Upgrade should be backward compatible. Not sure what new feature the upgrade has but I cannot upgrade due to new OS requirement. My version is useless now

Landscape?. I am using an Apple IPad Pro (13) and the app does not displays in landscape. That seems to be a bug. Most annoying

Nonstop Spam from Stanford.... I used to love this app, but now I'm getting an email, plus a message in the app, which I don't need to read, since I have already read the email, however you are unable to delete unread messages so my alert is at 6 and counting. My billing balance is $0.00, however if I don't open the irrelevant previous billing statements (like the messages) it continues to show me an alert like I have a new statement, which I cannot delete unless I go open each one- even though it's already been paid. Really annoying. Great for emailing my docs & downloading apts to calendar.

Where to go?.. On the next appointment it tells you what address and building but not where to go once you are in the building. There is always desk to ask, but I would like to know the floor number and the department. Just so i don't feel so lost and stupid. Anyway, just a little more info. Also maybe how long the appointment is going to be.

Nice app. Needs bug fix. Great app for keeping health records and receiving appointment reminders. However the app freezes after completing questionnaire. I have to delete the app and reinstall to get it to work again. Just updated to IOS 11.3. Don’t know if that had anything to do with it. Except for that everything works great.

Easy to use. Great App!. So easy to navigate and communicate with your doctor, mid-level provider, nurse or office staff. You can see test results with ease. Very nice app that seamlessly provides info between all Stanford clinics.

Tests. How do I print out my test results

Great look and feel. The MyHealth app has much cleaner look and feel compared to the alternative app. I also like that I can find it in the App Store by searching under Stanford Health Care.

Dencwheel. Make the app available in landscape mode. It is very awkward to use on an iPad.

Not working. Throws me in a loop that I have to purchase and then crashes

Doesn't handle password change well. Overall, I would say I liked the app… Until I change my password. Then the touch ID feature kept entering the wrong password (even after I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, and even after I correctly typed in the password and click the "remember this password" button). The app only gives you three login attempts before it locks your account, and the only way to unlock it is to call in and have someone do it for you. This is extremely annoying. I have been locked out several times. The last thing I have yet to try is resetting all of my settings. However that means I have to set everything up all again, and that would be extremely annoying. I already complained about this to the people who unlocked my account, but it didn't seem like they were going to do anything about it. >:(

Video appointments not working in iOS 13.4. Video freezes in iOS 13.4 and does not work for video appointments.

Error in patients name. Mine no longer has my name and test results. I am Katherine Fauvre. I am a 112l d woman not a 185lb man. Babysir87

App keeps crashing. I’m on the latest version of the app and on iOS 13, and my app keeps crashing on startup. Killing the app and restarting doesn’t help, it seems to crash right on the loading screen.

Elegant and user friendly. A professional and clean touch to the design and user friendly as it can get. Navigation is smooth. Payments are made simple. I love this app.

Who is this?. Nice report but this is not mine! HIPAA!

Test results at Fingertips. I love that all my test results from years past are all in one spot and are at my fingertips. Nice to have electronic copies of bills as well. Very user friendly.

Nice app!. What a perfect and impressive user-friendly app. It has enhanced my interactions with Stanford Health, and I absolutely love the video visits, appointment check-in, integrated maps, and even reminders to pay my bill.

Great Medical App. I am so happy that I downloaded this app. I am new to Stanford Hospital so I was not sure how smooth communication was going to be. Using the app I have been able to view test results, see prescribed medications, review after visit summaries and see upcoming appointments. I even get notifications when new test results are available. I am very pleased with this user-friendly app. The menu is simple to navigate and the information is easy to find.

No iPad accessibility!. My iPad is my only computer, my iPhone is too small. That is just unacceptable.

Billing. My bills are always zero. How can I pay my bills if you don’t tell me what I owe??? I get an invoice in the mail, why doesn’t it just tell me what I owe?? Biggest peeve with this app!

Locked up at ‘A recent update is available’. Since the app gives ONE option - Update the app - and sends you around in an endless loop of updating, I’d say the app is pretty poorly constructed.

My health care Stanford. This app is very good

Very easy to use. Great app. I have been using doctors from Stanford for over 2 years. This app makes it so easy to check up on appointments, look up labs and X-rays and even to check on medical bills. It's a one stop organizer for my health! I have asked my doctors and PA if they use it and they do! They check it daily. I like to think that helps in the continuity of care. Thanks to the great team that makes this app!!!!

Great App. Simple yet helpful.

Useful but could be better. Biggest flaw is that it doesn't save drafts of messages. However for reading messages and keeping track of appointments it is useful. Also would be nice if one could see visit notes in app rather than having to use safari.

Still no iPad version. You can do video appointments, which would be better on an iPad except all you get is an iPhone-sized image in portrait aspect.

Great app! Love the echeck in feature. This app is super user friendly and it has gotten better with the echeck in feature. And the location services will let the clinic know that I have arrived. How cool is that! Good job Stanford Myhealth team! Keep up the great work...

No Washington DC. District of Columbia is not an option under state, and it doesn't let you type it in. Needs to be fixed ASAP.

If you have an iPhone 5 don't use the new update it won't work on your phone. I have an old phone and iPhone 5s and the new app won't download on my phone it's locked out thanks Apple for nothing😆

Great look & feel. Love the look/feel which is so much better than the old standard MyHealth app. Please add a logout button on the home screen instead of buried in the menu. And having pending orders for labs, etc available via the app would make this a complete tool for managing my visits. Last suggestion. Why 2 different sets of billing data? I'm not a Siamese twin...

My Chart was better. Give up and go back to My Chart. Please.

Awesome for frictionless healthcare experience. This app lets me to not only schedule my doctor appointments, but now it lets me to automatically checkin for the appointment without ever having the need to talk to anyone. Its simple and seamless. I like that it even offers to show directions to my doctor once inside the clinic with those maps. I noticed that I can even order medication renewals with the press of a button without having to message my clinic. Love how they are trying to make so many of the common tasks frictionless, just what you expect from Stanford. Oh, and please add Apple pay support for bill pay.

Still can not log in. Never ever log in successfully.

Why can't I download statements as PDFs????. This is a decent app but it suffers from a major shortcoming-- billing statements are viewable only, but not downloadable. Why?? I want to keep a record of my billing statements without having to screenshot each page and assemble it into a pdf myself. Why? Because I have to submit documentation to my employer to substantiate that the credit card charge is for a FSA eligible purpose.

Need iPad version!. The app is okay, but on my iPad I just get the goofy little keyboard like the one on an iPhone. Please add a version for the iPad.

Amazing App!. So convenient and comforting having not only my care team just a click away but all the notes from my visits, instructions from my doc and lab results. Very user friendly! Online scheduling and video visits allow me to fit appointments into my hectic schedule. I will be so disappointed if I am forced to switch providers and have to settle for anything less than the Stanford experience.

Video crashes. Due to video failure from a laptop at home, my wife and went in person to Stanford and tried to use the app over Stanford’s own WiFi, to make sure that the problem wasn’t with our own network. The app crashed four times in a row, sometimes after an error dialog. Also note that, according to Stanford: “Notes are not yet available in the MyHealth mobile app.”
