Came here for flash cards left $120 poorer. I downloaded the app expecting at least SOME free content, but that would have been too easy. So I paid the year subscription which is really just paying for 30 unlocks...which if you want an additional 30 is $70...I have yet to find anything but actual answers to tests (so still making my own flash cards) or other people’s essays and answers. It’s not anything advertised for the free app and even after you pay for it you still don’t get full access or maybe not even what you’re looking for. I canceled my subscription within minutes and emailed within a half hour asking for a refund. I didn’t use any unlocks as none of the content offered matched what I was looking for, I have yet to hear back. If you want free flash cards use quizlet. They have premium options too that I haven’t explored, but if I wanted to it’s significantly cheaper. So far I’m getting better help for free from a different app. If you’re a college student you’re better off spending your money on an actual tutor, or food.

Poor app function and customer support. I unlocked four documents which never showed up in my library in the app. To find them I have to redo my entire search each time which is terribly inconvenient. I sent feedback once and support claimed they could not find my information, and this was “not typical of their product”. After giving them all possible information to find my profile I never heard back. I subsequently filed two more claims to support and have been ignored. Really wish I didn’t purchase a 3 month trial. Quite a disappointment and waste of money.

The WORST in business. STEER CLEAR. DECEPTIVE PRACTICES. Will not permit you to view or unlock any documents until you have submitted 10 docs for 1 unlock. I submitted 14, 6 were denied and 9 were approved. It still kept asking me to submit 10. Every time you get close to submitting the threshold of 10 documents - it will reset and force you to submit another 10 or pay for a $10 monthly subscription. It will not allow you to remove or delete the documents you posted. You may delete the account but they will keep your submitted study materials and will not honor their end of the bargain by cheating. I am very disappointed and feel cheated. They took my submissions and did not reciprocate on their end - plus they will keep my submissions whether I delete the account or not. Go with Project REAL or google classroom. Don’t waste your time here

Great website - can’t login to app. I love Course Hero and have been using it for at least 6 years. Contrary to many reviews on here, there is nothing “scammy” or fake going on - the subscription rates are clear, and the documents are simply those uploaded by other users. You get to choose which ones you want to unlock. This is an extremely useful resource for college courses, and I would assume earlier school would be the same. That being said, I would love to give this app a 5-star rating, but I can’t. When I try to login, it gives me an error message. Not being able to login renders this app useless. Please fix!!

Horrible content but good service :). I was so mean to the costumer support lady. I demanded a refund and was being so rude about it because I barely used it and got a bad grade on it. I ended up getting the refund AND meeting a very nice lady. I told her about how I was feeling towards school and she gave me some advice and was so sweet to me. Her name was Kimberly and she was an angel. I might have gotten a bad grade, but I met someone who was delightful and made an exception to give me a full refund. She also told me that college is full of emotions, and I just need to take a deep breath and move forward and that it will be alright. Maybe don’t buy the membership? But I would recommend using the site for tutors and using the free stuff.

Amazing. This site has been wonderful for me. I swear it’s the only way I passed me Stats class. I did previously pay for a subscription, but now I just upload my schoolwork and I receive free document unlocks. I highly recommend this site!! It has helped me so much...sometimes it’s just looking at another students paper/work to understand the assignment. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!! I’ve already told many coworkers, friends and fellow students that are in college right now about Course Hero!! Awesome site!! Thank you so much!!

This app charged me & gave no communication for help.. I have sent a total of 14 emails to the “customer support” of this app and received a total of two back. This app charged me over $100 without my acknowledgment my card was in place ready to pay, and used under an email that is not mine. The customer support file claims they are available 24/7, but the woman I emailed with very little, did not give me any help, regards or support to address and fix the issue. I don’t recommend this app unless you would like to be scammed of your finances with no help after the fact.

Switching back to CHEGG. This app is horrible. Every time I try to upload a picture, it force closes. Try to take a picture using their camera, it resizes it on its own, including things in the picture I don’t want in it & it DOES NOT allow you to crop or adjust. The best part is, I pay a pretty penny but every time I post a question, someone either doesn’t answer it, answers it wrong or tries to PRIVATELY email me with scam offers to do all my assignments for me. The app will also double post some of your questions & when you try to delete a question after it goes days unanswered, they claim they will credit back your account but they DONT. I’ve emailed them, of course no response. I used to love this app, but I’d rather pay more $$ monthly and go with CHEGG so I can have reliable service/help when I need it!!

Tutor Questions aren’t fully submitting?. The content itself overall is fine. I usually use the website on my laptop which is where I submitted 3 questions. They were kinda long I suppose. I also uploaded images to provide information necessary for the question to be answered. When I submitted them all, every single response I got from the tutors was that the question was incomplete or missing information. Obviously it’s not the tutors fault, but I wasn’t sure why they couldn’t see it. I tried opening the questions on my app and only about two lines were shown without any more of the question available. The images were provided. I have no idea why the whole questions weren’t shown, and it’s very frustrating! My comments on the questions that even gave a pdf link to the whole assignment didn’t help as no tutors seemed to be able to answer anything. Very confused and frustrated. I contacted support. I don’t expect anything too soon since I only contacted them very recently.

THE WORST HOMEWORK APP EVER. Okay, whoever is reading this, listen to me and this is real facts. So I downloaded this to help me with my homework and I took a picture. I typed in all the details and click submit question. It said “submitting...” It was like that for minutes! When it’s finally done loading, it said you need a phone number and verify. So... ⚠️WARNING⚠️ Only download this app if you are patient or a person who can wait a few minutes. Also, you must have a phone number and 0-10 questions you need to ask. You had been warned, therefore, it will waste your time.

While course hero is one of the best study guide websites, occasionally, finding a specific study guide occasionally occurs—-more often on coursehero than the other popular study guide websites. So far, I found, out of about 40 searches, I found about 15 truly useful study documents. Remember, finding finding specific study guides—-outside testbanks—-means sites like coursehero become a legitimate site where quality study guide notes from both students & professors become critical to understanding concepts in difficult courses

This app is horrible ! Save your money. Course hero is nothing but a money scam. You would think purchasing a membership would give you access to all parts of the service with unlimited uses but no, you can only view 30 documents and ask 40 tutor questions in a whole year. Not only does that make the brand totally useless. They also scam you into thinking your paying monthly and can cancel anytime. I selected the 10/month deal and got billed 120. I will definitely be issuing a refund request because this is bazaar. The app doesn’t even have what I need I still have to juggle to quizlet, and mathway for the proper answers. If your a college student like me I advise you to find other tutoring sites.

Limited unlocks. I recently got a new phone and downloaded this app. I pay for this app, why do I have limited unlocks?? On my other phone I DID not have that feature. If I pay why do I have limited unlocks.. not happy. This disappoints me because I have used this app for a few years now and I love it. I payed for this app to get unlimited unlocks.

Can’t view recent unlocks from My Documents. I find the now one month and three month subscription price to be ridiculous. Also never liked that you have a number of unlocks uses each month and have to use that to unlock the document. But I can understand why it’s like that. Wish that the uploads would go through a good review process. One time I unlocked a study guide but it only showed the answers for the questions that showed on the preview. The rest was blank. Also for the last couple of months a lot of times the preview for the documents won’t even show up. But I do find a few documents that are extremely helpful which is why I’m going to keep the app. But wish Course Hero would fix the preview issue. Also I haven't been able to view my recent unlocks when I go to my documents. So I have to search for them again which is very annoying.

No issues!! 4/8/19. I’ve been using CH since October 2017. This App has helped me with all classes including Bible courses. The Psychology 102 had great notes and quizzes that students put up. If you want more unlocks just rate what you opened, it will add up. Cengage Assignment 3 was so helpful! Got an A+.! Some quiz’s had the exact Q n A! Time for Biology quiz! You have to be patient and also try Googling questions and read and take notes!. Thank you CH. Melinda H.

Expensive, correct 80% of the time. I used this app for a statistics course. I order to unlock answers, you either have to upload pages and pages of documents of which they’ll only accept a handful or pay A LOT of money. For a two month course, I ended up shelling out several hundred dollars to this app. And then answers are correct only about 80% of the time. If the app doesn’t already have the answer uploaded, an expert in the field will answer it for you but each time I had to do this, it ended up taking 30 minutes to get an answer. I would only recommend this app if you are fine with passing with maybe an 80% max and you’re okay with shelling out a few hundred bucks.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.. This app is so terrible and frustrating to use. I downloaded it as a way to maybe help me with my homework, but it literally locks everything and makes you pay. I find the fact that you have to pay for homework help absolutely ridiculous. This app lies to you and says that the only thing it needs you to do is sign in to unlock a document, but that is a total scam. If you do not select a payment method they will not unlock the document. You can unlock documents by submitting a picture of your work, but still then it declines your pictures and keeps the documents locked. I’m not going to pay over $100 just to get one single document unlocked. That is absolutely ridiculous and frankly I don’t know how this app has 4.6 stars. If I can give it no stars and write a review at the same time, I would. That being said, save yourself loads of frustration and do not download this app. There are other awesome options out there.

Terrible Scam. I started this program on my windows computer for convenience and then downloaded this app. The message that says your documents will take around an hour to upload is false. I’ve had mine in nor 12 hours and for 12 hours I’ve had 3 out of my 50 assignments uploaded. Those 3 were successfully upload within 10 minutes and since then no progress has been made. I put my trust in this program because I saw the exact document I needed and now I’m not going to get it in time for class. I could’ve done the assignment easy, but I trusted this program to work. Wrong mistake and now I’m going to fail my ASL class. Also, the developer responds to every review with the exact same message, and then once you email their customer support, they don’t email back. Waist of your time. Just do your homework and don’t put your grades on the line with trusting this garbage company that enjoys stealing ridiculous amounts of money from students.

False advertisement !!!. I was looking for a website to help me on my Economic class, and i saw this online. I gave it a try and the advertisement said its $9 some dollars so i gave it a go. But after 5-10min of me outing my information, i was charge $119. It was not said on the annual plan that they will charge you $119 all at once! I was very disappointed in it and after using 2-4 of the unlock document things that when i got the notification from my bank about the $119. It’s really ridiculous ho they act like it’s good and stuff but they will scam you like Me!! And now they don’t want to give me a refund since they were giving false advertisement. I even told them to refund my money and they can take the cost of the unlock documents payment. Really worst experience until now it they still wont give me back my money! really scamming students like me here. waste of money and time!

Cool Concept; Not Reliable. This can come in handy for multiple educational resources, however; when I use a lot of documents with identical material to mine with the addition of just answers, they are 8/10 times not going to include all of the answers. The first half of the documents are included, and the last half is still unanswered and I’m left searching for other documents, using unnecessary amounts of unlocks, which are very valuable and not cheap. Their is no way to retrieve a purchase with unlocks even when the material is garbage, just too unreliable to me, I don’t really recommend.

WASTE OF MONEY. Do not spend any money on this app. I bought the year subscription for 120$ to get answers for my labs and found nothing useful. It seems like they have it but then when I would unlock it, it would only have maybe a page of answers the rest completely blank. Honestly the worse, don’t understand how you pay for a whole subscription and is still limited to what you can see and unlock. Wish I would have read the reviews before. Not worth it what so ever. Better off using quizlet. This app is so terrible that I had to write a review, which is my first time haha. Just wow.

Bachelor’s Degree. I have been in school since last year and coursehero has helped me every step of the way, it doesn’t matter what class I have taken because I know the helpful information will be found on Coursehero! This is an awesome app to use especially for those individuals who are returning back to school and who need just a little help along the way. Thank you so much!

App crashes when I attempt to log in to paid account. I bought a subscription while using Google and then after the transaction, the pop up for an app appeared and I figured it would be easier to navigate. I immediately downloaded and attempted to sign in through Google as I had done when I made the account a few minutes prior. The second I tap on the Google button to sign in through that method, the entire app crashes and forces me to restart. I decided to see how far I could get without logging in and could only get about half of the answers I needed (once again, I have bought a subscription already) so I turned back to the website version and can now not even find the assignment that I was using despite it being the perfect copy of everything needed. Extremely annoying that I bought a subscription and now cannot even take advantage of it. Money was wasted.

More Information of content. I think before we view content more information, example you open content it is not what u we’re thinking, you then have waisted one of your tries. Answers were not listed when I opened content stating assessment. Some papers are to jumbled together, makes it hard to read.

It's okay but not recommended. It's okay for certain documents and things, it does help you some but CourseHero is over pricey and a bit of false advertising. Wrong documents under the wrong subjects. When you go to type in your questions and summaries for help by the tutors to get feedback, the system claims your copying someone else, it’s too long and to make it shorter or some other little quirk, when yet that’s what this site is suppose to b for. To get help on questions from school that you don’t understand and get a better understanding of why this is that for that question but how can we do that if every little time you put in a question to ask a tutor the system does this, it’s pointless to try to get help if this is the outcome now. It’s very upsetting

Study sets and skills. I love this site. If you are pressed for time or just need a review of the overall material, this is the best place to get the tools you need. From test prep to study notes, this site delivers exceptional materials. If you know what your looking for all it takes is a stoke of the keys, build your library and your on your way to getting that A. Thanks course hero.

Worst App & Site Ever. Ive been a premium member for about 2 months now and all I can say is this is absolutely the worst website and app ever. After I canceled my monthly membership of $40 a month the website quickly became veryDifficult to navigate also on the app I decided to download it because I wasn’t able to see you the questions answered I had asked because it will only take me to my profile and then allow me to see the answers. Same issue with the app I ask a question and it refuses to show me the answer I will never purchase any other membership from this app and if you plan to I suggest you just get a chegg instead.

Previews Don’t Load. I went ahead and got the annual subscription plan in order to help me with my college courses. After my payment, I was disappointed to see that the previews of the documents would not load. I tried restarting the app, restarting my phone, deleting the app and then added my information back in but it did not work (and it still isn't). I ended up wasting 15 out of my 30 unlocks just to see what the document was about.

Miss leading. All the work is not there, when you ask questions you will not find the answer. In order for you to view documents you have to unlock just to view to make sure it’s what your looking for. Totally a rip off I do not recommend this app to no one. I wish I can get a refund totally did not use the app they had nothing I was looking for. All it seems to want to do is take your money quickly👎🏾 PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️ it’s a scam and rip OFF

The app has issues. I can’t preview anything at all on the app for some reason. Of course on the computer it’s perfectly fine though. I payed for a full year which is $119. I guess it’s not a terrible price, but what annoyed me was that you only get 30 unlocks a month and if you want more you have to pay for it, which I guess I sightly understand but am disappointed because of that. I will say it is helpful, but only if you find what you are looking for. I tend to use course hero a lot for school. It’s the main reason I bought a subscription.

Y’all need to do better!. This has got to be the absolute worse app ever! I’d rather use the website than the actual app. That’s just the tip of the problem. This app has no actual person you can communicate with about the many problems this app/site is causing! I am highly unsatisfied with this app. I’ve had to submit the same question 14 times in the past 2 weeks and I’ve yet to get an answer. My question gets cancelled after 24hrs of receiving NO answer. This app has got to be the biggest nightmare. Don’t expect it to save you if your trying to beat a deadline. If I could rate this no stars at all I would.

Do not pay for this. If you want to use the free service that may work for you but I paid and am really regretting it. It was around 120 for the year which I thought was fine but in honestly it didn’t help me at all with my studies. You will get much better paper content help from chat gpt. After not using the service at all a year rolled around and they charged me another 120 dollars. When I asked them to please refund and cancel they told me it was not possible. This was a complete waste of money. Save yourself 240 dollars and just don’t use this app.

0/10 recommend. I paid for a 3 month subscription and explicitly specified that I wanted 3 months ONLY with ZERO future withdrawals from my account. All I needed it for was one semester. Low and behold, Course Hero took it upon themselves to withdrawal an additional $60 this morning, and it over-drafted my account. I’ve read way too many reviews on their customer FAQ of similar complaints, and that they won’t ever reply to emails. That’s okay though, I’ve filed a fraudulent claim through my bank for an unauthorized purchase on my account. I’ll speak with Apple personally, and I’ll continue to write poor reviews :)

The Best. Course Hero has given me materials that help guide me on how documents should be written. Course Hero is a program that give you examples of subjects and structure. They show prime examples and help guide the thought process in the appropriate direction according to subject. This is a program to learn subject structure NOT PLAGIARISM! THANKS COURSE HEROES! I’ve learned a lot about paper structure and formatting. Helped a lot!

Very Helpful. I usually don’t give feedback but after 2 years of using course hero I have been able to complete most of my assignments! They either have the documentation already on here or one of the wonderful intelligent tutors will assist in helping you answer any questions! Download the app I can assure you won’t regret it!!

Pretty solid. It’s really helpful, almost always gets the answers I need correct. And the ones it doesn’t are just obtuse school time waste questions anyway. One thing I would love to see is a camera update that frames where to put the problem. I have to take like 2-3 pictures every time just because it doesn’t line up well. Other than that, no complaints

BEWARE. This may work for some… However be aware that even if you PAY for their premium subscription, this doesn’t give you unlimited access to study materials. I paid for a 1 yr premium subscription, only to see all the content was still locked. You get a limited number of unlocks to view documents. Once you use all your unlocks you have to purchase more, EVEN WITH A PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION. That’s insane. Those unlocks are EXPENSIVE… To say the least I won’t be using this service or renewing my subscription. I definitely would not recommend…

Rip Off Scam. This is the BIGGEST Rip off I fell for in a long time. I went as far as paying $60+ dollars for this. Before paying for it, they don't tell you that even when you pay, you can't see documents that may help in your studies. You still have to unload your own docs to "unlock" & you still have to rate to "unlock" all of which I could have done for free. I asked several questions & still have not heard back from about any of them. No response from anyone. Save yourself from this scam. It should be turned into the BBB for stealing people's money & false advertising.

Why do I need pay more?. It is a good app but my problem is I paid for a yearly subscription but then if I want help to understand a assignment I got to pay more. Recent I had to pay for extra 5 unlock documents. Honestly that is a rip off and I was and thinking about canceling my subscription, unfortunately I don’t get my money back. I give you three stars because it needs more improvement without ripping more money out of our bank accounts. If it wasn’t because of that I would have been five stars. I am disappointed.

useful but misleading and way overpriced. After i had agreed to paying $38 a month and started using the unlocks and previews for my exam studying. most of the material were documents were scattered and hard to find the correct doc your looking for. but then i get a notification i have xyz amount of previews left before i would have to spend $5 to “earn” more previews AS IF THE $38 A MONTH ISNT ENOUGH FOR THEM TO GIVE YOU “Full/unlimited access to all of our documents” LIES. Just manage expectations.

DO NOT PAY FOR IT!. There are so many apps and websites out there 100 times better. This one itself is not bad, it got good resources but not only it’s way more expensive than the other ones, the worst part is you only get to “unlock 25 documents “ with a full month membership. DUMBEST IDEA EVER!! What’s the point of the membership then. If I can only unlock an amount of documents, I rather pay per document then for a full month. Let’s say you pay for a month membership and you use all your 25 unlocks in 1 or 2 days, your membership becomes useless. Whoever came up with that idea should win the nobel prize of stupidity.

App. I think this is a great way to get help. The only thing I don’t like is that you pay $119 all at once but then you get help on all devices once you pay since I did it on my laptop that’s the only device I can use to get help but if I’m not home and I use my tablet then I don’t get help through course hero. I think there should be a way to use on all devices once you pay the $119 Tracy

Waste of Money. Someone accidentally used my card to purchase a membership for this website but I thought I should try it before trying to get a refund since I am a student too but I am so disappointed. There is a limited amount of documents you can open unless you submit your own and most of them get unaccepted. Also, many of the answers I’ve unlocked were incorrect so most of the unlocks get waisted anyways. I tried to ask for a refund after less than a day but was denied since the person who bought the account already unlocked some documents. Using quizlet and chatgpt are better than this and probably even using your money to buy Chegg instead.

False Advertisement. Got an account and paid for”One month access” which was$40. I was just billed again and I was never told I’d be billed every month until after I confirmed payment for the first month. I will not be using any unlocks as I don’t need them nor did I even ask for them. I expect a refund, however can’t get customer service to help. Couldn’t even figure out how to stop my membership from recurring next month so I just deactivated my account. If I do not receive a refund for this month, and get billed again next month I will be extremely upset because I’m 16 trying to save up for a car while paying car insurance now and this company is stealing my money. Would not recommend this at all. Forty dollars is about eight ours of me working that they just took from me without my approval.

Bad App. The app states that it’s for free, which it is when you first download the app, but when you take your first picture it tells you to pay LOTS of money to get the answer you need. I really needed these answers to considering I had to do a test for a very difficult class. Overall I believe that the app really did have potential and could’ve been better if it didn’t do that to me. I hope that they read my review and fix this fee that is way to expensive for some people. Especially for college student who are already in debt. 👍🏼

Eh it’s okay. For the most part it’s okay, I have a premier membership because I’m loaded with classes and sometimes miss assignments so course hero is great for study days before the test with the notes etc. I don’t like that my unlocked documents never show up on mobile even though it shows the amount of documents I have unlocked. I almost always have to work on my cluttered desktop and even the desktop version gives me problems because the documents will have the answer plain as day but they won’t let you interact unless you use your limited questions. I’m thinking of switching back to quizlet if things don’t resolve honestly.

Okay site. I found the website when doing my homework and researching for help. I signed up for what I thought was a MONTHLY subscription and they charged me full price. Good thing I didn’t need the $120 🙄 The course I’m in, the textbook isn’t really helpful so I was pleased to find that the homework actually explains how they got said answers. I did this on my computer. Then I got an email asking me how helpful the document was so i logged in from my phone to through the email I received, no problems, and rated the document. Now I can’t seem to log in through the app. It says error. So starting off on really good terms (yes developers if you read this..sarcasm).

Terrible. Don’t waste your $. I got this to help study for AP. But after paying and being able to see the whole site. Everything was crappy. Material is under the wrong subjects, you have a limited number of unlocks, and you have to unlock a document to see its even worth using so if you don’t use it you wasted an unlock. This site is very unorganized. Over priced and falsely advertised. I thought I was gonna get an amazing app to help study but I was severely let down. Most material is half finished since random people can submit work and that work is what you study off of. STUPID APP DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Course Hero informative and helpful.. Course Hero have brought me out of valleys in my homework assignment. When my back was against the wall. I didn’t understand the assignment it presented and outline to complete my assignment. I was able to receive a passing grade my assignment. The tutors are very clear and concise. I would recommend Course Hero to family, friends and classmates.

SCAM !!!!!!!!. Impossible to delete account or cancel subscription, I have made countless phone calls and sent numerous emails over the past year! Customer service is a complete JOKE. Don’t Buy the subscription. Scam !! Bought the membership and later found out there’s only 10 15 unlocks and later you have to pay if you want more !! Most files you need are empty or just no answer and you only know it after unlocking the file and later after unlocking it you need to pay . 40$ wasted for nothing .

Potential scam. I payed for the subscription service six days ago which amounted to $87.89 AUD on my card statement. Despite course Hero promising the upgraded service would be applied straight away, my account remains baseline almost a week later. None of the perks for upgrading having been applied to my account nor have customer support contacted me regarding my open ticket to them. Probably a scam with paid shills, do yourself a favour and avoid.

Annoyed. I’m annoyed that students have to pay at least $53 at minimum, to get help with school work. It is absolutely ridiculous that you are making students pay that much money. Either lower the prices or make it free because it charges you nothing. Also when you go to submit your own work so you can get points to unlock stuff most of the time it doesn’t work.

Terrible. Not only do they claim to respond within as few duration as 15 minutes while they take over hours to respond, I feel like the service isn’t qualified enough. If you really want to unlock documents then i’d recommend it I guess but the tutor questions don’t help at all, they take too long to respond and sometimes they don’t. I received a message saying I should my question wasn’t detailed enough so tutors can’t figure out how to respond even though i provided a thorough explanation. it’s not really worth your money nor time.

I didn’t use the site for about a month and when I couldn’t get in my account, they said it was suspended because I violated their terms. What terms? They didn’t specify. The content I uploaded was good and what everyone else loads. No refund was given for the 8 months I’m not able to use now. Scam scam scam. They take your money and cancel your account for no reason.

Don’t pay for it!!!!. Can’t stress it enough this app is worthless just as is their online content. All I wanted to do was check to see if my direction of thinking for a question was right and instead I got zero help and was asked to pay too much for something so mediocre. I didn’t even know I got chances to check answers until three PDFs in and The message popped up asking me to pay or submit. Don’t waste your time or money go ask an actual tutor for help or a professor.

Course material. Great app for finding course documents before the start of term. Some homework problems and final papers help validate progress. Downsides are not all courses have content and those that do do not always have they syllabus. Overall very helpful; hope over time some of the gaps can be filled.

Can’t log in. I can’t log in at all thru google thru this app. Tried several times. At first I thought it wasn’t updated but I did that and still can’t log in. Inconvenient because I pay for this and need it on the go more due to work and I can’t even access the information on the app.

Monopolizing education. Literally the worst homework help service ever created. Even if you do pay the ridiculous $117 dollars to use the service, there’s no guarantee that you’ll have unlimited unlocks. This service is a complete scam created by greedy mouth breathers capitalizing off of students who just trying to get some help with their homework. Save yourself some time and just use Yahoo Answers, a free service that actually facilitated questions and answers between fellow students.

Worth paying for. I don’t know about the free version but the paid version is so worth it. It always has the information I am looking for. It’s a huge help when writing papers and you need some ideas.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!. honestly this app/website is not worth it!!! i paid for the $9.95 subscription just for a few homework answers and canceled soon after. they took $119 out!! i would normally think maybe i misunderstood but then they took $800 out for a “student loan” when i didn’t even buy that?? such a scam and sooo suspicious. i emailed them 3 times during a couple of days asking for a refund with no answers yet they claim they answer in “24 hours”. honestly i am super disappointed and angry.

False accusations. I was accused of infringement I disputed and let them know all that I have uploaded was original. I have not been given a refund I’ve been with them for over eight years and not had a history of this.

Application for tuition help....Bogus. Was uploading study notes and homework to apply for $3000 in tuition, great all documents uploaded, so proceeded on to apply for $5000 in tuition help and now, all of sudden, after 7 documents (plus the 10 prior for $3000) uploaded without any error, EACH photo I take to upload has an error....worksheet, notes, and homework (each one a different type of paper) failed to upload🤔 Right before I’m eligible to apply for $5000 in tuition help (which is not even guaranteed). That review to beware is valid👀

Why does it not let me get in the app again?!. Whenever I log out with my account it doesn't let me get in again, it tries to get many documents from you that's why it probably doesn't let you use your account again once you log out which is horrible because I wasted like 2 hours and logged out and at the end it didn't let me get in with my account again even though I didn't change anything, it says wrong email or password! HORRIBLE!

Cost too much, works too little. I have had other apps work much better for far less. The picture function doesn’t really work right, but I got it to work if I took a picture through the Google app, then selected the example on Google to get a link back into the app. Also my submitted question was never answered.

Some Problems!. When I upload a document, I’m able to view the document. But, when I attempt to close the document, I’m not able to close it; there’s a freeze. Worst value app I’ve ever used. Do you want to spend $40 and have a cap on how many documents you can see? This app is for you. Absolutely the worst pricing scheme of any product I’ve ever used and it’s not clear up front how restrictive it is. Masters of Nursing Program. Another student recommended Course Hero to me and I am so glad I decided to utilize this platform. It really helps to guide me in writing papers for my program. Totally alleviated some of my stress. I have used it for 5 months now and I am very pleased. Highly recommend!

Waste of Money. It’s literally this app is just waste of money three months ago. It was very good app. But now, I have the three month subscription i’m allowed to ask 20 questions so I have 20 points for each question is one point however, there are taking two points for each question. Also, after I finished the subscription, I paid three dollars for question they took the money, but they didn’t answer the question. I’m so disappointed

Areas to improve. I have 2 areas that the app could be improved in the “ask” section. 1st off I had to submit the same question twice since the file got corrupted somehow. Then you can’t add any pictures when the tutors tell you the file is corrupted to fix it. Simple fixes but would be a great help.

Ok app. BEWARE!!! I have been waiting over 45 minutes for them to respond to the question I’ve asked that I’ve paid for, outside of my membership. They take FOREVER to respond past 5pm. The tutors won’t help you when you are looking for the answers a specific way. You are also unable to report that it is taking to long until they have responded to your question. Irrelevant and outdated information. I’m extremely disappointed with the material I came across on course hero. I could not find any information pertaining to the course work. The locked Pdf were either incomplete or outdated information. I reached out via email in regards to the matter and when I requested a refund those thieves denied my request. Honestly steer clear from this platform and save your money. “Money back guaranteed” yeahhh right false advertisement.

Terrible interface and service. It’s useful when it works which is a 50-50 chance it will. Otherwise get ready to deal with terrible app with glitchy logins and bad interface. Not a Great App. Besides being far too overpriced for the amount of material you’re allowed, it’s not a great app for phones. Especially because you’re unable to edit your profile or cancel your prescription from the app, and instead get redirected to the search engine app that prevent you from closing out pop ups. The point of an app is to allow access and ease of use that you can get on your cell phone rather than a laptop or public computer.

Amazing app really helped. I got this app and it has been amazing it shows math techniques and ways to solve problems I didn’t know it is amazing and also has a very clear camera when you scanning math equations!

Crashes all the time. This application is total garbage. You pay for the access, only get 30 unlocks per months, then unlock an article you want and can’t read it because application constantly crashes. Then , when you go to your library you do not see anything. This is one of the biggest scam I encountered in the recent years. I would like to believe that the company is just sloppy and not doing it on purpose, but It’s a shame that company like that can continue to stay in business.

This app is a Scam. I never give reviews, but for this app I had to because it’s TERRIBLE I repeat TERRIBLE! Course hero likes to cheat on you with your money and with the projects you submit, I understand that they need to make a profit but it’s honestly ridiculous that this app will use up your time and effort just to scum up something from your wallet. If this app want do better they should at least have a little bit of free content and draw there customers that way but instead they want to use you. Overall Course hero is a terrible app and I don’t recommend it.

Horrible recommended for any students out there.. This app is just purely evil and horrible, locked behind a paywall or forced to upload documents (10 papers for only 3 documents) so they can make even more money, i hate this app with a passion, the ignorance from these people are unbelievable, and most likely they will reply to this with a bot message saying how they could make this better, do not download this sad excuse for “homework help”

Amazing. Course Hero offers you great essays on any subject, but my favorite function are the tutor questions. This allows you to ask a question and have a real person in real time answer. Last semester was difficult, my focus was off as a result of COVID, having this assistance helped put everything in perspective. Highly recommended

Scam. Can’t even find the right documents they have hidden and when they’re available they’re incomplete or don't even provide you with answers, yesterday i bought the 11 dollars a month subscription and didn’t notice they charged me 120 dollars for the whole year. I felt completely scammed and i haven’t even found a way to get my money back, they wont unsubscribe me until 2020 but i still want my money back I advice others to not buy or download from this company for the sake of your money.

Preview showed my homework question but it wasn’t actually in the app!. This is the most confusing app. I’m desperately looking to check my homework before turning it in so I decided to try out this app. It’s like they somehow troll the net pulling homeworks from online classes. There were no solutions and most of the questions were missing. They had just enough to make it look like it was there. It looks like a a human never even performed a quality check. I hope Apple can get my $55 back for me 😞.

Unlocks. Why do I have to pay for Unlocks I thought my unlocks would refresh every month so what’s the use paying for a whole year and can’t get access to all the benefits?
