This is a great game. This game is so good for kids to compete but also learn new words. I give this game 5 stars because I think that this is one of a million such good games

Fun but glitched?. I was playing a game with the rule “R T and N are banned” and somehow the other player kept using words ending with R. That caused me to lose, because even if they end with a banned letter, I can’t autocomplete or create a word. If I tried to submit a word, it told me I was cheating and I need to follow the rules. They kept using words ending with banned letters so I was forced to submit nothing, causing me to lose horribly. It’s a fun game, but there are some bugs that can cause you to lose because other people cheat

Battle text. Ok.... at first By the pictures I thought this game would be terrible but when I downloaded it and actually started playing it I am now addicted to this game I play everyday now and I totally recommend this game for everyone

!!!ALERT!!!. I tried typing in pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis and it wouldn’t let me!!! Instead of fairly getting my 45 points i lost the game. For your information this is the longest word in English dictionary and if the point in this game is not to practice and learn I don’t know what it is. Unfair. I will change my review as soon as you fix that.

New addiction. My son asked my to download this game for us to play and I am totally hooked!!! My spelling skills have declined over the years with autocorrect and assistance from Google docs. I love figuring out new words and practicing words I should know how to spell!

Great game but.... ...in multiplayer the person who goes first gets a huge advantage since the game can end with them having an extra turn which can mean you could get more points per word on every word and still lose

Love it, to many ads though.... I love the game but it shows ads after every game you finish it gets annoying. Oh and there’s an disadvantage when the computer gets to go first every time. Just give us a chance to go first sometimes.

Good game but…. This app needs some work. It’s a really fun game but it would be better if you implement the device keyboard. It’s really easy on the game keyboard for your finger to slip and hit the wrong button or letter. I used all of my auto completes on accident because of this. If I accidentally type the wrong letters it takes extra of the limited time I have to think and type a word just to backspace and type it again. On the shorter time rounds it gets really stressful and frustrating. On top of that, when I watch an ad to recover a auto complete, the game just freezes and won’t let me do anything but exit the match and lose a life. I lost almost all of my lives in a short period of time because of this. Please fix these issues if you are still working on this game. I find it really fun and it’s sad to see that it’s becoming genuinely unplayable.

LOVE this game! But... I love this games. I think this game is perfect to challenge your thinking skills. My only issue is when I’m in a game, an ad pops up and it doesn’t pause the game. The game continues so it wasted the time I had to type a word and I would either have to use an auto complete or just waste a turn. Please change the timings on the ads.

Nice, but definitely needs to update. This app is really good except for 2 things. 1: It gives an unfair advantage to the other person who goes first. 2: It needs more vocabulary. For example, it didn’t even say electrogalvanization is a word. Neither is anesthetics.

Love this game.. Love this game. There is at least one glitch where I type a letter and it doesn’t show. So I have to erase and rewrite which can make me lose especially during speed rounds. I’m addicted though. This is so fun.

Quests. The game gets pretty addicting when there are quests but most of the time when I don’t finish it appears as the same quest for my next set of daily quests.

There are too many advertisements!!! Great games though.. Besides the add annoyance this is a very fun game and makes you think!! Just stop forcing us to watch videos otherwise you will lose a life. Also their are games similar on Facebook with maybe 1 to 2 adds within an hour. Great game but I may delete it if the ads do not chill!!

Good game but some stuff I would like to see. This is a great game I love the idea and it is overall great except a few things that I think would be better. 1) When you are in a match and you get it wrong it takes up so much more time to delete all of the letters especially if it was a long word like most words. I think it would be great to add a little button that you can press to restart your word to set you back to no letters typed. It would not restart the timer but it would save time. 2) More game modes like rush where you have to spell as many words as you can in 30 seconds and you could have high scores and leaderboards. It would be cool to have this and other modes like that. 3) Possibly a lobby where you can have the ability to get more than just 2 people playing you could have an entire group I would really like to see these things done to one of my favorite games already so please add these things soon. But anyways still a great game keep up the good work.

The games totally overlooked it’s rules. I’m here today to tell how this game overlooked it rules. At the bottom of the keyboard there are rules, and there a spacious rule that might say either first to 50 wins or first to 75 wins. Here’s my complaint, if you are the first to get to 50 or 75 why is there a chance for the opponent the win in finale turn, that’s retarded.

Remove Ads NOT working. I paid the 1.99 to remove ads. It said payment was successful but the ads continued. I waited a couple hours and tired again. This time it says, you have already purchased this item and do you want to replace it for free. I respond yes and it again says it of successful but then the last message says, error timestamp to old/expired. Fun game but to time consuming with an ad every 20 seconds.

Greatest game ever. This is game is so fun I like a challenge and that is what is gives me download this game it is the best ever I play it almost every day if you don’t believe me try it your self!

So many flaws. Here are the things the developers needs to work on: 1: when you type on the keyboard too fast, some letters will not register. 2: whoever has a higher brainpower (plays/ win more) gets to go first, which is unfair to those who have recently just downloaded. 3: Whoever goes first has a huge advantage and the developers should add in a final turn, where the player who went second has a chance to still get a higher score than the person that went first. 4: When playing multiplayer and you get the cat (starting letter is random) I’ve noticed the starting letter is usually the same letters twice and sometimes even 3 times in a row. And this can be a disadvantage to those who don’t know any long words starting with that specific letter or it could be an advantage to those who know very long letters for that same word. For example, the letter p and s have some very long words such as SEMI-AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL or PALEOCLIMATOLOGIST but then there are letters such as y, where the longest word is YOUTHFULNESSES. So if any developers see this, please take this into consideration and fixing all these problems/bugs.

Great game, but issues with being fair. TL;DR: Very good game, but also very unfair advantage given to the player who goes first. I absolutely LOVE this game, and I’ve only played it for a few days since my friend introduced me to it. Finally I feel that my English class has some sort of purpose. 😂 What is keeping this game from 5 stars you may ask? Well, in the short time period I’ve played this game, I’ve noticed a MAJOR ISSUE. There is a very unfair advantage given to the player who goes first. Let’s say that we’re playing to 50. Player 1 goes first, makes words that are 10 points per turn. Player 2 is second, and makes words that are 12 points per turn. After 4 words each, the score would be 48-40 in Player 2’s favor. However, Player 1 can barely edge them on the 5th word and win 50-48. This happens a lot more than you may think, and it unfairly rewards players just for going first, even if their words haven’t been as good. Devs, PLEASE fix this. If Player 1 hits 50 points, let Player 2 have a chance to tie or win the game, or even introduce sudden death. This game has a ton of potential, and I think this would be a ver nice change!

Good game bad update. Update isn’t implementing any good features it just limits you from playing and makes you watch more ads at stupid and should be removed but they’re making it seem like it’s holy Grail of features it’s not it’s not a new game mode it’s nothing new except making you play less and pay more with your time and maybe even your money

Challenging game. This game is extremely fun to play solo, with friends or random opponents. The game play challenges change randomly making each game different and fun. This game will help increase your vocabulary and you’ll be happy to do so.

It’s okay. It’s a fairly fun game until you spam the same long words like reinstitutionalizing, anthropromorphically, semiautobiographical, limitlessnesses, yesterevening, and other words. You could win in three rounds to these in competitive play.

This is the best. This is the best game ever cause I hv it on my phone and I’m just getting it on my iPad and it helps me know more words but there should be a 2nd game of it to make it harder

Fun and competitive family game.. What I enjoy most about this game is that I can play against family members and we all enjoy it. Depending on the challenge we all have our strengths and weaknesses. The opponents wind up fairly evenly matched.

Fun but... I love this game a lot because it helps your vocabulary grow in a fun way but what I don’t like about the game so far is that when I try to use some words like say the chosen letter is ‘y’ I tried to write youthfulness but it wouldn’t allow me for some reason, the occurred with other words as well. Another thing to improve on is to add more challenges in the multiplayer section, there’s only three so far. I would love to see more challenge updates in the future when a new update occurs. Overall this app is very well made and fun!

Love it. The game is great the only thing you need to fix is when a person can’t or doesn’t get a word when in multiplayer mode the game shouldn’t end because it does and then it says that on both ends each player left the game. That’s the only thing I don’t like it’s frustrating especially when you are about to win

Bugs need to be fixed. I love the game, but if an add plays before your game in story mode, you automatically lose your first turn because the game keeps running behind the ad after already being at a disadvantage because you have to go second. I’d give this game 5 stars if that was fixed.

Playing with friends doesn’t work. I’m connected with my friend in multiplayer, but when we try to start a game nothing shows up for the other person. Makes the game pointless as I only downloaded it to play with friends, not randos.

Advertisements are heavily suggested. With any free game, I expect advertisements. I understand their purpose and I respect that. However with this game, you can only play so much until you’re “out of lives”, and then it shows a counter for when you can regain them. i believe mine said something around 10,000 minutes? It shows the counter going down. It doesn’t even allow you to play in story mode. They suggest to watch a free video to gain a life back. I’d rather just come back to the game later. This might cost them some returning players.

Enjoy but... I really enjoy this game! It tests my vocabulary and it’s empowering. The only problem is I don’t have a Facebook account. I’m pretty sure many people feel the same as me when I say I really suggest you add another log in feature that is more popular, such as Email, Instagram or even Apple account. I really want to play with my friends but I can’t. Please add this feature! Thanks

Good but one problem. Lots and tons of words are not in the game which is crucial because when I’m typing and their is 1 second left it says the word ain’t even a word and it just puts my score at 0

Great Fun. I really enjoy this, my boyfriend and I are long distance and we downloaded this with a few other apps to give us some things to do “together” while we’re apart. It’s so fun!!

Good game. I enjoy the game, but from what I can tell, if you’re in the middle of one game and someone challenges you, you can’t accept it later. You have to either accept and play then and quit the game you were playing or decline the challenge.

Skip tutorial. Game is fine to pass the time with but had to redownload and there needs to be an option to skip the beginning tutorial instead of being forced through it.

Are you kidding me?. I was in the middle of a game when an ad popped up. I ended up losing and not enjoying the rest of the game. Sometimes the A doesn’t work if you don’t have tiny finger. It was just annoying and I don’t recommend.

Keyboard needs fixing. Can you fix the typing thing because I’m a fast typer and I’ve haven’t messed up on a word until this it’s a great game don’t get me wrong but please do something for fast typers without having to worry if we pressed on the wrong letter

Fun concept if multiplayer worked. This is a fun idea and I want to play against my friends, but it can’t connect to anyone it keeps saying server failed. Reinstalled, tried different networks, my iOS is up to date..I don’t know it just keeps saying failed to reach server. As a single player game it’s fun but I really only got it for the multiplayer.

Great but... Why?. I learned a new word and I was so excited to use it to beat my opponents! But it wouldn’t let me use it! I think you should add really big words that not a lot of people know so people can use them to beat their opponents!

Super addicting. A friend turned me onto this and I didn't have very high expectations based on the title alone.... so I went thru the tutorial n thought it's pretty simple n kinda fun but I figured it could only keep me entertained for so long before it would get repetitive n therefore boring... BUT THEN they threw in all these different curveballs in every battle like banning certain letters n cutting ur spell time in half just to name a couple... which changes everything n makes it more n more challenging as u go... great game to play with friends too

Glitchyyyyyyyyyyyy. I love this game it is fun but when I got to the dot it glitched. I have it on tape by screen recording it. It is soo annoying, it dose not let me type. it is not the I pad because right before I started writing this review I screen recorded it. Then I tried it on my 3rd cuz phone it did not work either.

Great game. HOWEVER keyboard lack of sensitivity makes it frustrating to play competitively. Otherwise it’s a great game to play in story mode or with friends.

Hah lol. no one knows this game its so sad. i have also almost completed the game and have gotten stuck with the last character. he seems impossible and it practically is since you cant really win when he needs 50 points and i need 100. either way good game! keep it up. try to make the last character more possible to beat.

Thieving!. Completely took my money and didn’t give me what I paid for.

No multiplayer?. The game is fun, but the multiplayer isn’t working, which is a big reason why I got the game. It freezes when I try to log in/make an account, so I’ll close the app; when I open it again, I’m logged in, but my user ID is just 000-000-000. I’ve tried adding my friend’s ID, but the game just endlessly loads. I’m hoping this will be fixed, but I’m seeing posts about this exact issue from as far back as March 2018, so I’m not going to hold my breath. :(

Addictive. It's very good and I love it but I would like to see our lives while we're playing a game. Also I would like it if when ads played IT DIDN'T CRASH that's my biggest issue other than that stuff I really recommend it. It's super addictive and will get you playing for hours!

Good but got bad. I love games like these, they are fun, smart and entertaining but I felt once they introduced the new life system it really made the game annoying. The part that really annoys me is when you have to watch a video to renew your lives or wait. It is like when the game “rolling sky” introduced keys into their game to unlock the levels, you either buy them or watch a video. The game still is a little bland even with the update, some ideas: maybe add some new game modes, instead of the repeated ones in multiplayer mode, or maybe add a dark theme or something, just to give the game some flavour. I feel like this doesn’t deserve a 4 star rating because of the update mainly. I enjoyed trying to beat the bosses with unlimited lives, keeping its challenge without having to watch videos in the previous version. But I’m sure you can improve in future updates by maybe removing the “LIVES” system.

Bull. Not sure if it’s cheaters or the game itself but I would be winning in matches all of a sudden during opponents turn time would run out and game be stuck. Next thing you know the game ends saying I LOST! I have been disconnected? Game is bull.

multiplayer does not work. this game is really fun when you’re playing story mode, but i tried playing multiplayer with my partner and it just didn’t work. you can send invites but there’s no feature on the app to accept invites and it literally just doesn’t work. i’ve also found that this game crashes constantly and i have to restart my match all over.

Horrible. This game is awful. It's dictionary is super small and it doesn't accept a large amount of commonly used words. It gets very aggravating and when you look up the words in their dictionary they don't exist when they are clearly an actual word. Overall terrible

Cheaters already ?. The game was going well. Was playing for a couple days. Then now I’m seeing when I am challenging people, their scores seem to be doubles. Not understanding what the fun is in cheating. I mean, it’s just a word game. Please fix so the rest of us players can just have regular, uncheating fun.

Unfair. In battle mode it lets the player you are going against when they put a word it goes 2 times and it also counts points.

Battle star is not that great. As much as I love the game I would love to lay this with friends but am under 13 which means I cannot because of the game making log in through Facebook although lots of people who enjoy the game are under the age of 13.

Restricts play when you lose. When you lose you lose a life. Lose a few and you can't play for a while. Great concept, but game play restriction is dumb.

Won’t let me type in real words. This game is fun but when I typed in Dalmatians it didn’t let me and that was a real word. Disappointing... I also have to say that wasn’t the first time this had happened to me. I can assure you I did not type it wrong.
